Femininity doesn't belong to women. Masculinity does not belong to men. Androgyny does not belong to nonbinary ppl. There are no "biological" traits of gender.
All of those things are in everyone.
And yes in a 'men wear skirts and nail polish and are feminine' way and yes in a 'women wear binders and boxers and are masculine' way. But also in a 'there are cis women with beards' and 'there are intersex men with ovaries' and 'some women are born with boobs and penises' and 'cis men can lactate' way.
Ovaries, penises, etc. Those things aren't tied to gender. None of it. Never has been. Diverse is just how humans are. Before hrt existed and before therapy, before bottom surgery: people who never fit the binary still existed.
Ppl who say there are only two sexes or to count chromosomes or that existing as one of two sexes is the only right way, are straight up denying the reality of actual human living people. The fact that they try to make it a moral goal to convince other people to deny reality too is just the cherry on top of this delusional sundae.
Because it is delusional. People like that are delusional and I think we should get comfortable saying it and even being mean about it. Now is not the time to be conservative in your progressive beliefs.
What do you mean you don't believe in the way humans have fundamentally existed throughout all of human history? and you're being an asshole about it? In 2023? On purpose?

A rdfem post got recommended to me because apperantly i hadn't been careful enough(at least i got a free blocklist out of it)and the very first line was so out of pocket stupid even by t/erf standards-Their idea of 'women forcing themselves to be presentable' was fucking acrylic nails.Obviously this is stupid period but acrylics are a fashion statement that was created by and continued and mostly influenced by to this day by BLACK WOMEN.It's a way of expressing ourselves,an art even,it's NEVER been about fitting into men's standards and in fact that's always been the opposite intended effect!!They're about what makes US happy, not anybody else
And that's just the thing rdfam always do-They make everything about men and their hatred of woc, black women especially and EVEN MORE SO TRANS women. It's never been about liberating women,it's about policing us.We can't be kiddy and pastel and bubbly and chaotic and indie and hopeless romantics who want to get the princess treatment,we're doing it for men 'even if we don't know it'(an actual thing one of them said to me on my post explaining that my brand of femininity comes from my kind of autism and their idea of 'real womanhood' was The Handmaiden and i WISH i was a kidding)and as if lesbians and aroace women who're like me in this aspect don't exist and they do and three of them are close friends of mine and have also talked about bullshit this is-And yes,all three of them are also woc,one pakistani and two black
And apperantly,we can't be edgy and rowdy and cocky and bitter and blunt and alt and and butch and uninterested in actively pursuing romance either because then we're 'too much like men and not really women so we might as well stop calling ourselves ones'.If we have brown skin or heavy body hair or big noses or other dark and strong features,we have 'biological faults' or whatever the fuck and they brag about hating men until someone realizes they're not a man but a woman and wanna physically and socially transition to feel like one to their full happiness they want them to be men instead. They sexually harras people, they invalidate mspec women for loving men AND lesbians for not liking women 'correctly' according to them because they love nonbinary women and transfems AND rentlessly mock aroace women for not feeling attraction by calling them losers and they don't even draw the line at kids. They use all kinds of slurs and ableist rethoric and are exactly two tippy toes steps away from being t/radwives
Nobody's more obsessed with ruining womanhood than rdfems except chauvinists and even then, they're just another variant of them that happen to have less political power. You're not an ancient greek goddess in women's history, you're grown ass women obsessed with genitals and gaslighting vulnerable young girls into your minions. You know nothing about girlhood and you won't learn until you get all those boots out of your mouths you're choking so hard on you can't speak anything but bullshit

picking apart the comphet and cishetnormativity you've been taught is fucking HARD. plus it's frustrating thinking about how non of us asked to be born into instant ingraining of misogynist bullshit. but deeply rewarding as you become more actualized in yourself and your sexuality/sexual self. reading the lesbian masterdoc was a turning point in realizing I don't want to have sex or romance with men (or anyone subscribing to similar ideals).
I don't identify as a lesbian partly because I'm trans and agender, and partly just because "queer" feels much better as a label. but a lot of the masterdoc was still helpful and applicable to me. I can recognize that I want to prioritize sexual, romantic and every type of relationship with women, now. feels like a huge tension in me is slowly releasing.

I just think it‘s so funny how cishets imagine asexuals to be, like
„Don‘t touch me with your filthy hands! No, please, don‘t say the s-word, I can‘t handle it, I am so disgusted by your human desires-“
While in real life were just like
Hehe penis 69 I write hot gay fanfics about Spongebob my fav anime is Yarichin Bitch Club

intelligence, neurodivergence, and queerness all have a rather high correlation with each other.
our society is highly disabling to all of these groups.
adding being brown on top of any of these is just... a bad time (in my exp)
trying to find people who get it.. is hard. at least it is for me.

What (most) cishets think I mean when I say I use all pronouns: Oh, so I can still only refer to you as she/her and not feel bad
What (most) queer people think I mean when I say I use all pronouns: Oh, so she/her and they/them pronouns are fine. I will maybe sprinkle in a he/him here and there.
What I actually mean: Please use every single pronoun, including neos and xenos, for me on either an alternating basis or by spinning a roulette wheel and use whatever gendered or gender-neutral terms are funniest for the current situation. Please stop only referring to me by the fact that I have breasts in conversation.

My new pet peeve is reading spells that:
A. The correspondences don't make sense (to ME, I'm sure they have logic to the original writer)
B. Ask the Universe for Too Much. Without enough investment (both magical and mundane) to manifest anything
C. Cis-Heteronormativity
Like... Fame & fortune on a spell written with a pair of shiny earrings and a blue candle, assuming the caster is a ciswoman.
I understand there's reasons for many things, and different paths do things different ways...
I... Don't Like it.

Stitch is not only an alien he is a fucking scientific experiment and it’s a little insane to make him hetero and give him a girlfriend that looks like his fraternal twin, literally just a pink fem version of himself. Why does he need a romantic partner at all. Seriously, unadulterated heteronormative silliness. In fact it’s awfully presumptuous to say “he” in the first place. Stitch is not native to our world. Stitch should not have to follow our made up gender norms. Stitch deserves better.

I think people need to stop associating queerness with actions people do or do not do actually.
Having sex with someone of a certain gender does not inherently mean you are attracted to said gender. If it did, then lesbians would never come out later in life, but they do, and they're still lesbians no matter how many men they fuck.
This also means, yes, a straight man, can suck a dick and try out being gay, and decide and realize he's straight, and you all need to stop trying to pull him out of a closet he's not actually inside.
A trans woman is a woman no matter how she decides to perform femininity. She has just as much right to not wear makeup, and not shave, and still be a woman just as any other CIS woman would.
Trans men do not need to go on hormones. They don't need to dress particularly masculine, and they are still just as much a guy in a dress as any other cis guy.
People are allowed to experiment and try things with their gender and with their sexuality and decide nope that's not me, and the things they tried out don't make them anymore or less whatever identity they declare themselves as. Even if that identity is as an allocishetero person.
Queerness at its core is about breaking and not following heteronormative and amatonormative societal ideals. One of the ways in which you break those ideals and refuse to perform by them, is to use labels regardless of the actions you yourself personally take.
If you don't understand someone else's identity and labels they choose to use, it really doesn't matter. It's not your identity or labels.
If you don't understand a set of pronouns somebody uses whether it's something as complicated as neopronouns or a non-binary person using the pronouns normally associated with their assigned gender at birth, it doesn't matter. You're not the ones using those pronouns for yourself.
You don't have to understand something to respect it. You do not have to agree with the way someone defines themselves to respect it. Stop policing other people's queerness.

No because it's genuinely flabbergasting how often Rick contradicts himself with calling Percabeth the perfect couple
Poseidon said 'The sea does not like to be restrained' in reference to Percy and Piper said Annabeth 'keeps him in line'.Percy directly said to Annabeth he wishes she'd be nicer to him and she responded 'I am never going to make things easier for you'.Percy straight up insulted Annabeth in his narration for not treating him like Rachel does(the 'unlike some other girls' line)and Annabeth deadass started crying because she hated that Percy's approach to their romance wasn't as direct as hers. They find eachother's interests stupid and lame.Percy is an abuse survivor and has resigned himself to Annabeth's constant hitting he never returns as seen by 'Nah,you'd just beat me up' followed by Annabeth laughing in agreement.Even after they start dating,Annabeth has ZERO trust in Percy's to be faithful to her seeing as she assumed he'd gotten with Hazel literally just for standing next to him in a friendly way and used Rachel as ammo to make him nervous on purpose for her amusement because 'you gotta keep your boyfriend on his toes' and it's topped off by the fact Percy quickly gently letdown Reyna because he remembered her.Annabeth hates her hair and traditional femininity and Percy says it makes her look like a princess and thought she looked better than normal after Circe's makeover
They give eachother ZERO character development,Annabeth intensified Percy's insecurities big time and Percy enabled Annabeth's bad coping mechanisms just as much.Percy hates masculinity and is drawn to femininity but forces himself to act and look like a guy so he can be Annabeth's ideal macho boyfriend and Annabeth quirks herself up into a manic pixie dream girl instead of acting like herself to be Percy's It Girl.Percy hates fate and destiny and he's always told Annabeth is his by people who don't even know him. They don't even have any reasons to be attracted to eachother to begin with seeing as they find the other so annoying it's hard to believe they're not actually found siblings and the fact that all the other campers kept teasing them about liking eachother only adds fuel to it!I'm fucking loosing it,'Percabeth gave me my standards for romances' is one of the most depressing ship related things you can say i'm so serious

Yesterday in my (very cishet) sewing class, I heard about a woman who cancelled her wedding because she fell in love with another woman.
Here are some of the things I learned:
It's a good thing that it happened now rather than later because her fiance would have had a miserable marriage life - this one is great because their solidarity automatically went to the man. Cishet solidarity trumps gender.
It is impossible to be engaged to a man and also like women because the two "do not go together". It was later suggested that maybe she was "into both" because bisexual is a dirty word and we can't say it. It was ruled to be highly unlikely.
It was assumed: a. She'd been lying to him for years, and b. That there was no way for a cishet man and a sapphic woman to have a relationship, much less marriage - this one really illustrates the narrow world of possibilities that cishets are trapped in. Kind of mind boggling.
Everyone was incredibly scandalized and kept returning to it throughout the 4 hours of class, which again shows the very narrow boundaries and lack of imagination of cishet life.
I said absolutely nothing because hell if I'm going to get into a discussion of biphobia and toxic monogamy with a group of strangers (which they are, this is how the classes work). But I'm kind of amused at the irony of them having no idea who I was and what I write about.
Also I think she deserves congratulations.
All in all, a highly educational experience 0/13 would not recommend.

If you don't understand wht trans mascs mean when they say "I don't wanna be cis I'd rather be trans" go ahead and just sit quietly next to a bunch of cishet men and you'll realize how fcking horrifying they are and why women are literally born terrified of them. A typical cishet convo is a mixture of slurs, bullying, discount aave with a gallon of r*pey "jokes"
While I wish my body looked different ik for a fact that I'm horrified by the thought of me having the exact same mindset as a cishet male.
Thank you for your time.
