actually, I think that there is an argument to be had about how the entire concept of "trans" was created by transwomen who are attracted to men, as a response to homophobia as well as as a means to self-expression. Even those trans women who are always cited as being on the forefront of fighting for trans rights were homosexual males; so there is not only the co-option of womanhood by men in general, but also the co-option of a primarily homosexual space by heterosexual men.

While it's of course correct that many transwomen are invading women's spaces, it's also very important to recognise that transbians are overtaking spaces originally created for same-sex attracted transsexuals. I would even say that this is where a certain type of trans medicalist trans woman comes from (thinking of Blaire White); I kinda understand their anger about entitled heterosexual men invading their own safe space and making everyone uncomfortable. And when that one person talked about the feeling of betrayal that now those who had been bullying those feminine gay men before are now overtaking the space very space that those who had been bullied had created for themselves.

of all the things to stick with me since childhood, one of them was reading a bunch of rage comics at like, age 7 and noticing a pattern where whenever girls were in the comics, they were always stupid, uncool, and made fun of. on top of being peak age for “boys rule girls drool” to be the playground discourse and all of the other ways I subconsciously picked up on misogyny, it made me really sad, and I never really shed myself of that shame. so its interesting to me people think being a trans man means none of that “actually” hurt me instead of simply translating into a new form meant to demean my ability to be a man at all.

all i did was literally block this guy bc i don’t think trans men can be butch. i never dmed, send an ask, or interacted with him at all and he’s out here accusing me because of it lol.

just as an fyi: butch is traditionally a lesbian identity, and is utilized in sapphic communities. if you’re a heterosexual man, which you are if you are a man solely attracted to women, you cannot be butch. butchness is all about subverting masculinity through a sapphic lens. simply use the term ‘masc’ or just. say you’re a trans man. you don’t need the butch modifier because it doesn’t make sense for you to use it as a man.

and the funniest thing is that by complaining about this. you ARE a lesbophobe. you poke fun at my pronouns, he/him, which if you claimed to know about the “butch history” you’re touting, you’d know that it’s fairly common for butches like myself to not use traditional feminine pronouns. you are so clearly talking over lesbians when it comes to their history of identity and sexuality.

on top of that, why would you claim i want you to stop taking T???? I’m on a low dose myself as i am trans masculine. if you’re a trans man keep on it and get those gains. just don’t fucking pretend like you have claim to the butch identity because you’re a man. it reeks of butchphobia, misogyny, and lesbophobia.

The ‘would you rather be alone with a man or a bear?’ question is obviously a very straight forward decision for women.

I almost like to think of it this way: why are most horror film villains a human being, or a monster that behaves and thinks like a human being? Because it’s unpredictable, it has the mental capacity for sadistic thinking.

A horror movie about a bear, or a lion just circling your house in the woods because it’s hungry or defensive is not very thrilling.

Most of these horror movies are directed by men, popularised by men too. They obviously understand why humans (men) are more scary, but because it’s now a feminist debate rather than a fetishised torture-porn slasher film, their brains turn to mush.

Making women waste money on useless items allows men to hoard capital. Moreover, there is a huge gender gap in trading. Men are much more likely to invest extra income into the stock market than women, however, when women do invest they tend to perform much better when it comes to trading owing to their diligence and loss assessment.Female ownership of monetary property and real estate is paramount to their liberation. Society has created an ecosystem that dissuades women from possessing capital. What's worse is that when crisis hits, it's women that have to give up their savings for their need of money is disregarded as they rely on their husbands for financial support. Women amassing wealth and knowledge is the key for their freedom.
