I've had a beast of a cold for the last few days, but I wanted to get this out before the new year! while I've sort of made my peace with my first take on Lilia's UM poster, I really wanted to do a version with the new context that chapter 6 gave us. because. c'mon.

★﹕LILIA VANROUGE

Bold of you to assume he was sleeping in the first place. Lilia was playing the equivalent of Overwatch in Twisted Wonderland when you suddenly asked him to go to the nearest McDonald's. He agreed instantly, and now you're both on a date, with you eating fries and Lilia eating a strawberry sundae and a cheeseburger..

★﹕ORTHO SHROUD (platonic)

He agreed instantly. Can robots even feel tired in the first place? Ortho will search on the internet for coupons and promos, but first let him equip his eating gear; he wants to eat too. Everything for his best friend. By the way, he wants to buy something for Idia too.

★﹕ROOK HUNT

Rook got out of bed even before you even mentioned you wanted to go out, he woke up when he felt you were awake. Rook is a light sleeper; he can even feel when you wake up to go to the bathroom. If you really want a meal at McDonald's, who is he to say no? It makes him happy to see you happy, but he will stare while drinking his strawberry shake. Not a "I'm judging you" stare, but a "I like to see you enjoy your meal" stare.

★﹕MALLEUS DRACONIA

He has probably eaten McDonald's at least once because Lilia bought the whole of Diasomnia burgers. Alright, you're both going. Yes, he's still a little confused over why you would crave a really cheap burger at 3 am, but Malleus doesn't even care; the burgers are good and he enjoys indulging in human customs, plus he gets to see you smile. The only bad thing is that the employees got the fright of their lives when they saw the literal prince of Briar Valley enter the restaurant.

★﹕SILVER

Still sleepy, he agreed. There are times when he randomly awakes during the night, so he might as well spend it with you, even if it was at a fast food restaurant at 3 am. He'll order an iced coffee and some fries and listen to you while you speak about whatever comes to mind. You'll both have to make it quick though, he may fall asleep there, and you both need to get back before classes start.

★﹕DEUCE SPADE

He didn't even understand what you were saying; his mind was still foggy from being woken up so late. He said yes, not knowing what he was agreeing with, but a few minutes later he realized what he agreed to. Deuce, not wanting to have gotten your hopes up only for him to say no, got up and accompanied you anyway. He still enjoyed himself though, as long as he is with you, he's happy.

★﹕RUGGIE BUCCHI

He's tired because of how many errands Leona made him do yesterday, but you know what? He will still go. Food is food, and he could never refuse it. Leona lets him grab his credit card anyway, so order whatever you want, Leona will pay, even if he doesn't know that. It's not like he checks his credit card's expenses, so don't worry about it.

★﹕JACK HOWL

When he confessed to you a few months ago, he didn't expect that would mean signing up for you waking him up in the middle of the night, asking him to accompany you to eat fast food outside of campus. Still, he's your boyfriend, and he can't let you go alone, it's dangerous. Even if he doesn't feel like ordering anything, he will sit there with you until you finish your meal, chatting with you in the meantime.

★﹕ACE TRAPPOLA

You're lucky he loves you too much; he would have said no if you were another person. So now Ace is sitting at McDonald's, almost falling asleep while eating some nuggets. That one song they keep replaying will haunt him in his dreams; it got stuck in his head for like, a week. Riddle reprimanded him the next day for falling asleep during history class.

★﹕CATER DIAMOND

Out of everything he could have expected a person to say at 3 am, it certainly wasn't "I want to go to McDonald's". Cater takes a selfie with you inside and uploads it to his Magicam story, the close friends one, so Riddle doesn't realize he wasn't at the dorm. He still has no idea how you came up with this, but ok, it was for the funsies.

★﹕JADE LEECH

You're certainly unpredictable, aren't you? Jade stared at you for a good minute until he just got up, got changed, and went with you. Floyd has done weirder stuff during one of his mood swings; what harm can going to McDonald's do? He doesn't feel like cooking that late anyway. Just don't tell Azul you're both going to the competition, okay?

★﹕EPEL FELMIER

He had you repeat what you said twice to make sure he was hearing you correctly. You want to do what? Let him go back to sleep, please. Okay, whatever, he will accompany you, but make it quick. At least that's what he said before spending the next two hours chatting with you while eating. He sadly got caught by Vil when he came back. Rook snitched.

★﹕SEBEK ZIGVOLT

No, he has to make sure nobody attacks Malleus while he's sleeping. But with some reassurance from Lilia (and him asking Sebek to bring him a burger) and his love for you, he decided to accompany you. He'll ask for the biggest burger since he has a big appetite. He did enjoy it at the end; 10/10 would do it again (but he won't say that out loud).

★﹕KALIM AL-ASIM

He doesn't mind that you woke him up, and he would like to go, but there's a small problem: he isn't allowed to go anywhere without Jamil, which means he would need to wake him up. Jamil wouldn't be happy about that, and Kalim doesn't want to bother him either. So you both just order takeout and give the delivery guy a very generous tip.

★﹕IDIA SHROUD

Idia was awake, but he really doesn't want to go, and he's also farming for an event. Great, now he's craving McDonald's too. If you really want to go, you can have Ortho accompany you, but please bring him a chicken sandwich and some fries. You can use his debit card to pay.

★﹕TREY CLOVER

... What? What did you even dream about to crave McDonalds so late at night? Trey says you both can go on the weekend if you really want to, but go back to sleep, please. There's an important exam tomorrow, and you'll both be in trouble if you suddenly fall asleep in the middle of it.

★﹕FLOYD LEECH

He was not in a good mood after being woken up in the middle of the night. Floyd won't let you go, squeezing you so hard that you can't even move away from the bed. You're not going anywhere the whole night, and if you still want the meal, you can order some in the Mostro Lounge tomorrow.

★﹕LEONA KINGSCHOLAR

It's 3 am, what the heck. Leona says Ruggie can buy you some tomorrow; ask for as much as food as you want, but not at 3 am. He will fall asleep on top of you, so you can't even move, just in case you try to sneak out while he sleeps.

★﹕JAMIL VIPER

No, please, he's tired. He did so much work yesterday: laundry, cooking, folding clothes, tutoring Kalim, paperwork for an upcoming event, and preparing for an exam. He just wants to rest for at least a few hours. Go back to sleep, please. He promises he'll cook you a burger with some fries tomorrow. His cooking is way superior to fast food anyway.

★﹕RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS

"No, that's unhealthy", he says. Somebody buy him a happy meal or something, Riddle has probably never eaten fast food in his life. Either way, there's class tomorrow, and he would never forgive himself if he arrived late to a lesson. So no, you aren't going anywhere.

★﹕AZUL ASHENGROTTO

Why would you want to eat at McDonalds when he has a literal restaurant? Are you trying to buy from the competition? Now Azul is offended at 3 am, so offended that he dragged you to the kitchen to make you a meal resembling the McDonald's one just to prove Mostro Lounge's food is better.

★﹕VIL SCHOENHEIT

Excuse you? Not only did you interrupt his beauty sleep, but you want to go eat McDonald's'? It's 3 am, please go back to sleep or you'll get dark circles. Lack of sleep is bad for your skin, and he won't take the risk, much less to eat unhealthy food.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus is a needy father... he already has a tamagotchi so as soon as you found out about this you automatically became the tamagotchi's mother/father along with him.

Malleus is so happy that his little virtual pet has someone else to take care of him along with Malleus, Malleus also uses this to spend more time with you, you are like a little family...

He will also demand that you spend time with the Tamagotchi, claiming that the pet misses you and feels neglected, he will get upset and pout if you don't spend time with him and the Tamagotchi.

There would definitely be another tamagotchi if you let him have one...like a little brother or sister for your tamagotchi...

but he is content with just one while you take care of him with him there is nothing else that would make him happy.

Jade Leech

Jade just looked at you with his usual smile as you explained about the virtual pet for him to take care of for you before saying a light "oya? if you wanted a child just ask me to make one with you-oh? don't you want to?" It's okay, I was just joking" but after giving him the tamagotchi, he seems to take seriously the idea of being you tamagotchi's father.

all the time he keeps the little thing away from Floyd, feeds him only healthy food, always bathes him and leaves the tamagotchi playing in the virtual park while he works on Lounge, after he comes back he gives the tamagotchi another bath and puts him to bed, Even though it's a virtual pet, he takes care of it as if it were real. After he gives you the tamagotchi back he explains everything that happened, what he ate and what he did, after that he will always take care of your virtual pet if you ask, occasionally you will have discussions about what would be healthy for the "child" of you or not (you saying that the tamagotchi needs to eat more sweets than mushrooms and fruits)

"too much sweets can end up giving them a stomach ache, you know I only want the best for our baby, besides I know you keep feeding him cakes every time you take care of him..." Jade says while talking to you at Mostro Lounge, smiling when he saw you trying to explain yourself.

...Meanwhile, Azul accidentally overheard this little part of the conversation and spent a week thinking about how he was going to ask Jade if he has a child with you or something...

Deuce spade

Deuce was more than happy when you gave him the tamagotchi, he looks at you with those eyes saying 'I'll be the best father in the world, I won't disappoint you' but he ends up forgetting about the tamagotchi and letting him starve to death the same day.

Poor boi...He even took care of him in the first hours, gave him food, bath and affection but the day went on and he was busy studying for a test, he went to the basketball club and even had extra classes with Divus... at the end of the day while he was almost asleep he was scared and remembered the virtual pet... when he saw the dead pet on the screen he was scared and in shock, he didn't know they could die...

he was literally in shock as if he had broken an egg... (old reference lol)

but in the end he knows he wouldn't be able to sleep without telling you this, in the end when he tells you he's almost in tears as he apologizes to you, until you explain that everything was fine and that you could revive another tamagotchi...he stays relieved but still continues to apologize and promises to take better care next time.

(Later Trey and Cater find out about this and help him take care of his pet in the meantime Ace is just laughing in the background)

Floyd leech

Floyd got a little irritated when he saw that you were paying more attention to that thing than him when he came to visit you, so he did the great feat of throwing you Tamagotchi through ramshackle's window.

(just joking about Floyd's part, I was going to do something more detailed but all that comes to my mind is either him throwing the tamagotchi somewhere and forgetting or him trying to eat the poor tamagotchi and not being able to and getting angry about it and ending up breaking lol, I was finally going to sleep but I couldn't without getting it out of my mind... Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it)

It makes him feel like he’s living a domestic lifestyle, like he’s not in the royal spotlight. Like you’re his spouse who cares for him like no other.

It gives him a sense of normalcy in the midst of living the life of a member of the royal family.

Whenever he visits Ramshackle during the evening, he always smells your scent in the air mixed with whatever you’re cooking.

By the way, whenever you fix him a plate, he will eat everything on it. It doesn’t matter if it’s veggies, he will eat it.

When you sit next to him, his tail will place itself in your lap as a way to maintain physical contact with you the entire time.

If Grim ever calls your food nasty, Leona will snarl at him and say that he should be grateful you cook for a freeloader like him

Ruggie Bucchi

His heart is pounding whenever you give him the container of food. And it smells good too. He could get used to being spoiled.

You both set up a schedule where you make a meal for each other, or you make an extra portion of whatever you made for your dorm.

Then, you sit together at lunch and enjoy what the other made for you while talking about the classes you two suffered through.

If you try your best on one of his grandma’s recipes, he will be down on his knees for you. The fact that you tried to bring him a little comfort makes him feel warm and mushy inside

Feed him please. Mans wants to be spoiled but he won’t ever admit it. I know you Ruggie simps would agree with me

Also, as he’s eating, pet his ears. He will lean into your touch as he takes a bite of whatever you prepared for him.

The moment he hears Grim insult your cooking, it’s paws on-site. No mercy, he’s beating the shit out of the cat for having the gall and the gumption

Jack Howl

If you thought that the others were flustered, you got a whole other thing going. Your cooking brings him back to his home

The place where his siblings and him and his father were sitting at the table while his mother served the food for everyone.

You got his tail wagging and his face blushing as he froze, not knowing what to do when you handed him a warm container of food.

He won’t let any of the others even look upon the meal you prepared for him, especially not Ace since that idiot doesn’t know how much this means to the wolf.

As you both sit next to each other in the cafeteria, his tail wraps around your waist as he holds up a bite of the food to your mouth

It’s pure instinct to make sure his mate eats first, even if you have your own food. Plus, you should be able to taste the food you make.

Don’t get me started if Grim calls your cooking disgusting. Jack is picking him up by the scruff of his neck and yelling at him to shut up and eat the food that you went through the effort of making

Malleus Draconia

He is grateful that he doesn’t have to suffer through Lilia’s cooking, if one could even call it that.

However, he’s kind of sad that you can’t sit with him so you two can enjoy your meals together. His retainers are the only ones allowed to sit with him

Fortunately, he still has the food you made for him to allow him to remember that you understand his circumstance and love him anyway

Please don’t make food for anyone else, since he won’t view it as special as it originally was. When you reassure him that he’s the only one, he’s happy

Later that night, he will make sure to thank you with a kiss as he compliments your culinary abilities and tells you that Lilia could learn from you

If he has the time, he will make a meal for you in return. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a lot of time because he’s running the Diasomnia dorm.

If you tell him that Grim didn’t like a certain meal you made, he will have a personal chat with the problematic cat about gratitude and how you deserved it.

Lilia

First up, we have our lovely bat dad. We all know he’d probably be the perfect person to go to for nightmares.

He’s bat dad for a reason y’all.

When you walk in he’s probably still up, probably playing video games.

So when you mumble you couldn’t sleep because of nightmares, he’s pulling up a chair, getting you a blanket, and snacks. Everything you need, peepaw has it.

Wanna talk about what happened? No worries, he’s helped Silver, Sebek, and Malleus many times with their nightmares.

“Little bat? Are you alright? Ah, a nightmare. There’s no need to worry, why don’t you come sit by me and we can play this new video game together? And if you want, you can tell me about what happened.”

Sebek

Sebek, yea..good luck on getting some comfort from him. But he’ll try his best!

He’ll probably be like: Human what are you doing in here? Oh, you had a nightmare? Uhm, why are you here then?

Poor boy would be so confused.

He’ll definitely point out how weak humans are, but then I think when he sees you truly upset, he’d feel it as his duty as a knight to protect “those weaker than him”. At least that’s the excuse he’s playing when we both know the crocodile boy cares in his own tsun-tsun way.

“Human? Why are you here so late? A nightmare? I do suppose a human would be bugged by something like that. Fae are much stronger. O-oh I didn’t mean to make you more upset. Ahem, well, as my duty as a knight in training I’ll do you the service of protecting you. You should be honored. Here, you can borrow my Malleus-Sama plush. I made it myself! It looks just like the young lord, doesn’t it?”

Silver

Ah yes, our sleepy little prince Silver. If this boy is actually awake for once I think he’d do a pretty good job at comforting you.

I can see him as the type to have a lot of blankets so he’d probably give you one to snuggle with as comfort.

I could also see him get some of his little animal friends to comfort you too if you wanted that.

And if you wanted to talk about your nightmare, he’d be all ears, at least until he’d fall back asleep. But, I bet he’d do his best to fight back the sleepiness as long as possible for you.

“Oh, Prefect. You’re up late. What’s that? You had a nightmare? I’m sorry, not sleeping well is never a good thing. Here, I have some extra blankets, and we can even get some of my animal friends here if you’d like. Don’t worry, it was just a dream, you’re ok now.”

Malleus

Ah, our Housewarden of Diasomnia, the future ruler of Briar Valley. Malleus Draconia. Our sweet draconic prince.

I think he’d care the most but not know whatever the loving hell what to do.

Does this man even get nightmares?

Walks around the Night Raven campus is definitely going to happen the second you tell him what’s wrong. Nothing solves problems better than a nice walk in some fresh air.

He’ll probably even tell you stories about his time in Briar Valley to distract you or even let you play with Gao Gao Dragon-kun!

10/10 best person to go to for comfort aside from Lilia.

“Child of Man? What’s the matter? You seem upset. Oh, a nightmare? Yes, those can be troubling. How about we take a walk outside and if you feel up to it, you can talk about it. It's better than being alone. I'll even let you play with Gao-Gao Dragon-kun.”

Green Eyed Monster | Malleus Draconia X Reader (Valentine's Special)

Prompt: Eye-f*cking them all day, making Character A nervous and a blushing mess who can’t properly function.

Synopsis: (Y/n) loved Malleus, they really did. But why wouldn't the dragon-fae stop staring at them?!

Extra: During the Firelit Sky over the Scalding Sands Event. (Y/n) is implied to be Yuu in this. The reader is also gender-neutral.

(Y/n) was trying to look at the different wares in the different stalls. To pay attention to Jamil's explanation of his culture. It was a beautiful culture. And everything that Jamil had to say about it was fascinating, but (Y/n) wasn't able to focus properly. Not because they didn't want to and not because they were bored. No, it was because Tsunotaro wouldn't stop staring at them.

(Y/n) had tried getting him to stop, turning to stare right back in his lime green eyes. Doing so was foolish. Thinking Tsunotaro would actually back down when they did so was even more foolish.

Instead, Tsunotaro had smirked at them. A bit of fang showing at the corner of his lips. (Y/n) engaging only seemed to amuse the fae further, to inspire him into staring even longer.

(Y/n) thought Tsunotaro would eventually look away if they kept staring at him, kept giving him a firm look, but he didn't. And (Y/n) didn't have it in them to keep up the firm appearance the longer they stared back. Not when Tsunotaro seemed to be preening off of their attention. Not when his amusement seemed to come from more than simply finding something funny. Not when his gaze, as sharp as it was, had softened considerably. Though, seeing the playful smirk on the fae's lips, (Y/n) was sure this was a calculated move. Because Tsunotaro knew them and he knew exactly what his gaze was doing to them.

Their cheeks had felt as if they were on fire, when they had finally looked away. (Y/n) had wanted to blame it on heat of the Scalding Sands, but they and everyone else knew they would be lying. For everyone was wearing similar clothes, and even Grimm was doing perfectly fine.

So, they had attempted to just ignore it. Apparently Tsunotaro, and everyone else, thought that was the prime time to tease them even more. For Tsunotaro would stand close to them, not ever moving to far away, never close enough to touch, but his presence looming enough that (Y/n) knew he was always there. Especially since Tsunotaro wouldn't let them remain silent, always speaking in his dulcet tones, his voice seeming even more haunting, even more tantalizing than normal. Always pulling (Y/n) into the conversation with a teasing remark.

It didn't help that everyone else, besides maybe Grimm, had noticed. Seeing their amused grins that they kept giving (Y/n) and how they would taunt them with--

"Is everything okay, (Y/n), you seem a little distracted?" Cater spoke, taunting (Y/n) with a particularly smug grin. And to make matters worse, Tsunotaro chipped in with his own--

"Oh? Is everything alright, Child of Man?" Tsunotaro asked, his voice extremely smug. He knew exactly what he was doing. And why wouldn't he? He was a green eyed monster that was setting out to devour (Y/n). And (Y/n) didn't think they would mind very much if he did. And (Y/n) was certain that Tsunotaro, no Malleus, knew that too.

-Being in a new world made everything surprise you but also defied the logic of your own world so when Kalim offered you a ride on a magic carpet you were skeptical

-I mean a carpet couldn't hold the weight of well anything so it being able to carry 2 people is already taboo and also how can you control it's direction and spee-

-Before you could finish your train of thoughts and how the pure concept contradicts basic physics Kalim pulled your arm and seated you on the carpet

-The first minute you were nervous as hell,who could blame you, you were literally flying on a carpet!

-After the initial shock the ride was actually relaxing and fun

-You never thought you'd ever find yourself flying around on a magic carpet flying around but you don't mind it

-Turning to Kalim who was looking at you the whole time to make sure you're enjoying yourself, you put a hand on his cheek before saying "thank you for showing me something I would never have thought of" and pulling him for a kiss

-Kalim was overjoyed knowing he actually managed to 1) surprised you and 2) make you feel happy

-Safe to say there's never a dull moment with Kalim

-He knew you were smart by simply observing how well you performed in class

-Despite knowing you can handle yourself just fine you're still a fragile human with no magic so he will occasionally loom around the shadows,sometimes your sharp tongue could easily infuriate students from a certain dorm,After all Savanaclaw students don't settle arguments with words,but with their fists but when they pull their magic pens Malleus quickly steps in to stop the fight before you got hurt because of some buffoons

-After the students ran off, you turned to him a smile on your face " I could've handled them myself you know, even if they can use magic they're still brainless" Malleus chuckled " I suppose so however I don't think I'd forgive myself if you did end up hurt" he said sighing

-" How about we go to Ramshackle after class for a cup of tea? My treat" you suggested

-"Anything for you ,my brilliant child of man"

-The first thing he noticed about you was how calm you were when you signed that contract about bringing that painting from the museum, it was almost as if you had a plan already and were confident it'll succeed

baubles and gingerbread cookies on trays were scattered around the floor. the lights were hung, the fire was lit and the temperature outside grew colder and colder by the minute. you were sat on the carpet, the melodies of your laughter bouncing off your lips felt like the sun on his skin after the coldness of winter and it never failed to send his heart swelling with delight. everything was always so at peace around you. it almost felt like everything outside your bubble just stops altogether creating moments in time where it's just his presence basking in the stars in your eyes when you smile.

it happens so often, too.

in the hallways, on the now snow-covered pavements of the pathways around the college, in his room back in his own dorm. you could be in a sea of people spectating on a spelldrive match or just alone together, interlocking fingers as you gaze at each other with the love that he felt could make roses bloom in the winter cold—everything else just seemed to fade away back, back into the background. truth be told, if it were up to him, he could just sit and stare at your figure glowing in the fireplace beside you all night. but alas, you simply had to snap him out of his trance.

“malleus,” you called, a sheepish smile playing on your features. “you're staring. again.” shyly, you bring a gingerbread to your lips, biting on the christmas delight and malleus couldn't help a soft laugh leave his throat. the hot cocoa on the floor beside him had finally been given some attention once more.

“apologies,” he said before taking a small sip on his mug, “but you already know how that tends to happen sometimes.”

you playfully roll your eyes at this popping the rest of the gingerbread onto your mouth. you sit in your comfortable silence again. you were busying yourself with returning the extra baubles onto their boxes and picking out the smaller mess around you for a while until you noticed smile breaking out of his features, his eyes anchored onto an object somewhere behind you. curious, your gaze follows and meets with the decorative star laying peacefully on the couch. you turn back to malleus with a brow cocked and your query came out in the form of a single word, “what?” and malleus let out a chuckle in response.

“is there something funny about it?” you started to slowly stand up and pad your way across the floor towards the couch.

he let out a toothy grin, “i do not find the star to be humorous. it is you that i found to be. hmm... was it rude of me to laugh at you?”

“no,” you reply, the star now in your hands, “you don't have to worry about those things around me, love,” you reassure him with a gentle smile, “i know you mean well. but pray tell what you found to be so funny.”

“well,” he started, “you were so intent on decorating your dorm for christmas and i've accompanied you for the whole day with putting up the ribbons and lights, however...” malleus trailed off and you stare at him in anticipation.

“yes...?”

“you have not put the star on the tree yet. it's the last thing left for you to do. had you forgotten?”

you softly ran your fingers around the designs of the christmas tree star, a sheepish smile on your features. you didn't meet his gaze but you responded, “no... i just didn't want you to leave yet.” you admit shyly. malleus' expression turned into that of surprise which only reddened the blush on your cheeks even more.

“i will not leave if you do not wish for me to go.”

“i know. but i can't exactly just ask that from you. you're a housewarden and i'm sure the students of diasomnia are out looking for you right now. they need you more than i do,” you remarked, “i had to be clever.” a pout was on your lips and you earned a small laugh from him. the prince stood up, a warm smile dancing upon his lips as he gazed at you lovingly.

“put it at the very top of the tree.” he said, “i will not leave even after all the decorations have been done. not unless you would like me to.”

you smiled softly, placing a hand on his cheek which he leaned into gently, his hand finding its way onto yours interlocking your fingers together. his arm wrapping around your waist as he pulls you in closer. you leaned in, fully expecting a kiss from the dragon, only to let out a yelp as you felt him suddenly lift you up into the air. his laughter was like woodland thunder when he took in your reaction to his sudden actions. you were in a position where he was supporting you with his arms in a way where you were sitting on them as if you were a little child being carried. your arms were on his shoulders for support and your eyes were as wide as the baubles on display.

“mal?!” you exclaim in confusion and surprise. he only gave you a knowing look and your eyes fall back onto the decorative star in your hand. the peak of the christmas tree behind you seemed almost like it was begging to be crowned. you extended one of your arms over to the top of the tree.

baubles and empty trays were scattered around the floor. the lights were hung, one of the brightest glowing beautifully on top of the christmas tree. the fire was lit and the temperature outside grew colder and colder by the minute. you were sat on the carpet, the melodies of your rich laughter like a chime of bells and his like woodland thunder, intertwined together as they echoed throughout the room. he held you against him, your back to his chest. th blanket wrapped around his shoulders and around you along with the heat radiating from the mug you held in your hands was the warmth of the sun on your body amidst the cold that made your breath visible in the air. it sent your heart swelling with delight. everything was at peace. the gentle cackle of the flames in the fireplace made you close your eyes and lean back against your lover. you could feel his smile against the kiss he placed on the crown of your head.

malleus couldn't help but stare at you once again, his face at the side of your head. your eyes closed, features illuminated by the fireplace—he couldn't help it. you looked mesmerizing. and you knew he was staring. he tends to do that a lot. but you didn't mind. a small smile crept up on your lips as you gently whispered.

“merry christmas, malleus.”

“merry christmas, my love.”

At first they are a bit weary and on guard of her (mostly it’s Sebak who thinks she’s dangerous). Before becoming closer to the girl and started dating.

What would their reaction be when she’s good at fighting? Especially how she can have silver claw like weapons coming out of her hands and feet.

How would they react when they find out their lover was experimented on and for the purpose to becoming a k*lling machine? How well would they take it and how will they comfort her?

I hope this cheers you up a little! I put extra effort into Lilia’s. Everyone up to Sebek’s is serious.

Malleus Draconia

He could sense your pain and your anger. You tended to hang around on your own, and that upset him greatly. His retainers advised him not to get too close lest you lash out and do something that might hurt him. But he somehow knew that you wouldn’t do anything like that.

During your nightly walks when you both grew close. He had learned more and more about you, and you had learned more and more about him in return. It was under the moon’s glow where he asked if you wanted to enter a courtship with him. He extended his hand to you, and you looked into his eyes and only saw genuineness. So you took his hand into yours, accepting him as your lover.

Through your relationship with him, you got closer to the rest of the dormitory. You participated in the training regimens against Silver and Sebek, and Malleus witnessed you absolutely slashing the shit out of his knights. You might be stronger than even him in combat.

He asked you about how you came to have the claws, and you had the expression of someone who was at war. you told him how you were used by the Facility to be used as a killing machine and how your biological mother helped you escape. You then told him about how you were adopted by Wolverine. His heart broke to hear it, no one should go through that pain.

Just know, Y/N, that he will be there for you through thick and thin. He will be there to hold you close when everything gets to be too much. He will be your light in the darkness that is your past that still haunts you to this day. He will always be there for you.

Lilia Vanrouge

He knows the pain that lies behind your eyes. You both were warriors who have gone through so much. Lilia was never wary of you; since he related to you on a very personal level, he knew that you wouldn’t lash out from anything. With the wisdom he gained over the years of being a renowned general of the Briar Valley, he thought of ways to get closer to you.

He had extended an invitation to you to accompany him to a nearby meadow in the woods that he likes to visit from time to time. You both basked in the serenity the sunlight had to offer, and it was then that the old fae asked for your permission to court you. And who were you to deny such a gentleman? He made sure that you felt comfortable around him and he didn’t play his pranks on you because he cared.

Lilia once invited you to a training day in Diasomnia and he was pleased to find you ready for battle. He was amused by Sebek's confidence, and even more so when you inevitably beat his ass with just your claws. He wanted to go up against you himself, and it was a very close battle. Unfortunately, he had more battle experience, and so he pinned you to the ground.

After, when he was dabbing the sweat off of your forehead with a towel, he gently asked about your claws. It was then that he finally got to know your entire story; you told him about the Facility, about your mother, about how Wolverine took you in after you escaped, and how you took his name after he had passed. The bat fae could tell that you missed him greatly.

So what does he do? He lets you know that he understands what you are going through, and that you are always welcome to go to him. He will hold you in his arms for hours if you want him to just because he loves you and cares about you. He will dry your tears and kiss your face to help you forget about the pain.

Silver

He recognizes the look in your eyes because his father has the same look. He wants to know what exactly you went through and how you managed to survive. Sebek often warns him to stay away from you, but he can’t. You draw him in like a siren with their song.

After the equestrian club ends, he invites you over to help him groom the horses. It was there in the stalls that he really got to know more about you. He got to see your smile for the first time, and he had to admit that it was beautiful. He wished to always be the cause of the smile you rarely showed.

After getting permission from the Housewarden and Vice Housewarden, he invited you to a training day at Diasomnia. He never knew about your battle skills, and he was impressed when your battle ended with you, straddling his waist, holding one of your claws to his neck.

He later asked you how you were able to beat him in such a short amount of time. You responded by telling him about the facility, your mother, wolverine, and how you were trained to fight. Hearing this made the knight’s heart shatter that someone as amazing as you had to go through something so tragic.

When you have any flashbacks, Silver will hold you close as he places your head on his chest so that you can hear his heartbeat. He will gently run his hands through your hair to calm you down a bit to get you to fall asleep with him.

Sebek Zigvolt

This man is completely oblivious to the pain you have been through, and I apologize in advance. He is rather insensitive only because he is ignorant of your past. He strays away from you until Silver gets tired of listening to him ranting about you and tells him that he should go talk to you.

He had asked to walk you back to Ramshackle after classes were done for the day, and he was surprised that you accepted. He was surprisingly very quiet, but his face was tinged with a pink hue. It was kind of awkward, but in a very sweet way.

After seeing how lovesick Sebek was after that, Lilia invited you to train with all of them. The crocodile fae was excited about you coming, but he would never admit it. He totally wanted to show off his abilities as one of Malleus’s knights, but when he went against you he failed miserably. You pinned him to the ground, and he got so flustered.

He was (totally not) angry, so he (yelled) asked how you were able to do that, and since he was getting all upset you decided to make it painfully awkward by saying you were genetically built to be a killing machine by the lab called ‘the Facility’. Now he feels like a piece of shit, especially after you express your grief about your mother and your adoptive father(?). As tears started silently flowing down from your eyes, Sebek knelt in front of you and gently took your face into his hands. He softly wiped the tears away with his thumbs as he apologized with the entirety of his heart and soul. You felt every emotion with his words, and saw the surprisingly soft gaze in his eyes, and it made you melt.

Twisted Wonderland characters working in my family’s restaurant headcanons I wrote on break

Ace Trappola: Gets bored and insists on doing magic tricks with customer orders, resulting in them getting lost in a primordial void, known to none except for Lilia (who will not retrieve it for the jokes). My parents never want him to come back

Deuce Spade: Thinks he got himself locked in the freezer and panics so much he breaks down a wall to get out. He was, in fact, not locked in. My parents never want him to come back part 2 (+10 points for being polite)

Riddle Rosehearts: Actually does a pretty good job but then gets into a shouting match with a customer over taking a handful of sauce packets instead of the regulated 2-3 per order

Trey Clover: A normal guy putting in a normal amount of effort

Cater Diamond: Takes a bunch of selfies in various corners of the restaurant to post on magicam. Then forgets to take customer orders because he’s busy coming up with captions that will garner him the most amount of clout

Leona Kingscholar: Immediately curls up in a corner and falls asleep. Doesn’t even wake up when the cooks start using him as a table and put various containers on him to save space

Ruggie Bucchi: Fantastic, amazing, show-stopping, wonderful, etc etc!! He can do everything from take orders up front to prepping the food in the back. He knows the menu better than I do. My parents would be determined to bag him as an in-law to grow our culinary empire

Jack Howl: He’s a good boy and does his best! Works in the back because he doesn’t like dealing with customers. Insists he doesn’t care when someone compliments him but his tail wags so wildly he cools down the kitchen by several degrees

Azul Ashengrotto: Would he be good at this and grow our business through various shady dealings and several surprisingly ingenious policies? Yes. Would I allow him in? No.

Jade Leech: Someone has to keep a strict watch on what sort of mushrooms he’s putting into the dishes

Floyd Leech: I set up alarms so that when he steps one hundred feet within the restaurant, the doors automatically lock.

Kalim Al-Asim: Kalim, my sweet sunshine boy… Jamil and I conspire to keep him distracted with coloring books and playing iPad games with my six year old cousin

Jamil Viper: Annoyingly good at job. Uses a spare piece of paper to write down the names and addresses of every customer who make him mad to keep himself sane ^_^

Epel Felmier: Insists working in the back with Jack and rushes to carry every heavy container around to prove he can. Used to work up front to attract customers and get extra tips with his cute face, but was banned after he almost got into a fist fight with someone who kept flirting with him during rush hour

Vil Schoenheit: I cannot imagine him voluntarily working here whatsoever

Rook Hunt: He does well during rush hour but there’s just something unnerving about his smile and the fact he can list several disturbingly accurate and intimate facts of every customer who walks in. Also, he’s French :/

Idia Shroud: Cannot be convinced to set foot into the restaurant so he shows up as an iPad. Someone’s mean to him so he starts doxxing them and goes “is this you?”

Ortho Shroud: Hiring a ten year old robot child has to violate some sort of labor law

Malleus Draconia: He’s so happy to be invited somewhere he does some ridiculously overpowered feat of magic that terrifies everyone in the vicinity (he probably fixed the freezer Deuce broke and added some extra fun features). Is not invited back and he’s pouting about it

Lilia Vanrogue: Hangs up side down from the ceiling and scares customers for fun :) there’s a large sign with “LILIA VANROUGE STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN” hanging up but he ignores it every time by claiming he can’t read

Silver: Falls asleep while in the middle of handling food and almost falls head first into the wok before Lilia holds him back

Sebek: Banned because he follows Malleus everywhere and no one can hear each other over the sound of his voice :/
