I haven't finished listening to the chapters but this family is so damn tragic holy shit.

Malenoire and Levan falling in love and eventually having an egg. Levan having to leave his wife and unhatched child because he was a believer of diplomacy and wanted peace with the other kingdom, but never returning even after years. His wife still believes, no matter how unlikely it is, that he will return, so Lilia tries hard to search for him so Malenoire wouldn't be sad anymore.

But then Malenoire eventually meets her untimely demise and leaves the unfortunate egg behind. This egg would then continue unhatched for hundreds of years, because there isn't any parent who could nurture it with love. Take note that a dragon egg only takes 2-3 years to hatch with constant love, but in Malleus' case he remains dormant for much, much longer.

He's literally been unloved even before he first lived.

It then occured to me, why couldn't have Maleficia helped Malleus hatch faster? She's still a parent, even if she didn't give birth to him herself. But then I realized... Maleficia lost her only daughter. She was probably incapable of showing unconditional love then. Nobody could blame her.

Which leads us to the biggest question in the story. Who was is that gave the egg unconditional parental love and finally helped it hatch?

This rough guy, whom both Malenoire and Levan trusted with all they were.

Thinking about how we always believed that Lilia was a renowned general in Briar Valley, when in reality he was considered a disgrace by Briar Valley's senate and was erased in some parts of history. Why do you think they put Savannah Claw Rook up to pull??? Is he even going to participate in Book 7???? I am so confused WHY HIM??? WHY NOT IDK, CREWEL? VARGAS? MAYBE TREIN?? WHY HIM.

I’m SO CONFUSED. Is it just for money grabbing or something like that? It doesn’t make any sense.

Also how prepared you are for the probably last update of Book 7?

I mean...it said he's a story card, and all the other story cards have had major roles, so I see no reason to assume he won't as well! (plus any staff cards are probably all going to be events like Crowley was; I would honestly be MORE surprised to see them as story cards.) really though I'm having fun trying to figure out how he's going to tie into things! we're back at Cerberus Ortho levels of "WHAT DOES IT MEEEAAAAN" and it's great. :D

I assume we're going to be doing some more dream-hopping, but I think it would be hilarious if it turned out to be someone else's dream instead of Rook's. who else could possibly be dreaming about him pre-fancification.

(I'm also half afraid that this really is the last part, and half afraid that it isn't. I'm -- I'm not going to believe anything until we get the diadorm rerun pickups, and maybe not even then)

LMAOOOO Lilia knew his fate even before the egg hatches. He knew Malenoire would force him to become the baby's nanny and he's complaining like (exaggerated): "You two literally fuck around like animals like there's no tomorrow and then you'll shove your responsibilities to me when all's said and done?
