tips to reduce sunday night sadness
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
do. not. overthink. it’s common to feel a little (or a lot of) bad feelings during the night of the last lazy day, just remember that most of your thoughts aren’t actually yours and don’t necessarily represent the objective truth
find time to connect with yourself. do yoga, meditation, journaling to understand your current feelings and their reasons etc.
take it easy. do things you like, light a candle or incense, enjoy some series, play cozy games, read a good book, anything actually good that will boost your dopamine
remember to do more significant things during the next weekend. you may feel bad for the end of the weekend because you didn’t do productive things for yourself. rotting in bed and scrolling infinitely all weekend always feel like a waste of time in the end, so remember to do more fulfilling activities
if you need to prepare something for the week, remember to do it before sunday night next time to avoid feeling overwhelmed
eat light and nourishing food. heavy food/fastfood is harder to digest and may make you feel physically bad and disturb your sleep

Y'ALL, I'VE CRACKED THE CODE
Tumblr media
For yeaaaaarrsss, I've gotten into an endless loop whenever I have to go to school or work, where I don't get ready to go, start hating on myself for being "lazy", and then procrastinate getting ready even more and end up late to everything.
And for years, I've had emergency anxiety meds, but only took them during panic attacks or when social anxiety spiked. Basically only if I could feel my heart racing and unnecessary adrenaline kicking in.
But dude, taking them while stuck in the loop of "lazy", has helped me so much!
Will this work for you? I don't know. You have a different body, and maybe you don't have anxiety meds, or have a different kind to mine. Maybe you are hesitant to take yours because it's slightly addictive. Maybe you're hesitant to take yours because of internalized stigma or you want to be able to not lean on it as a crutch.
I don't know what to tell ya for the first one, but let me ask you this.
Do you look at people who use crutches and think "they should be able to walk without that". NO! OF COURSE NOT!
Use your crutch, use your meds. They're there for a reason. They're there to help you.

People are fractal images of the universe. Bad things happen to good people, because things happen all the time. It is up to people to determine whether they are good or bad. In the same way your heart feels and your mind thinks - you mortal beings are the instrument by which the universe cares.
If you choose to care, then universe cares and if you don't it doesn't.

In this article we will learn what mental health is, different types of mental illness, stressmanagement strategies, and other coping techniques. This article can help you maintain a healthy state of mind in your teen years.
What Is Mental Health?
Mental health, also known as emotional wellbeing, is how you think and feel. It influences your mood, thoughts, behaviors, motivations, and actions.
A person’s mental health encompasses emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing. Our mental health influences our behavior. Moreover, our attitude toward stress, relationships, and choices determines our sound state of mind.
It is an essential part of who we are. The term “mental illness” describes a wide range of illnesses that affect one’s mental health, like depression or schizophrenia. Mental illness isn’t something anyone chooses to have–it’s just something that happens to almost all os us.

people do realize that often times a good amount of intrusive thoughts stem from trauma right? Like it’s not… a quirky thing to have. It’s not always the case but for me that’s where it all started. please for the love of god think before you insult someone for having intrusive thoughts, you don’t know what they’ve been through or are currently going through. Also do some fucking research for once

I feel trapped in the million things that went wrong.
I'm trapped in my childhood, I'm trapped in my mind.
Even though I wanna live I feel like I don't deserve it.
Can't move, can't eat, inside my bed thinking why I have to keep living.

Stop Forcing Yourself To Heal
We’ve all been there, feeling broken, wounded and in pain, and desperately wanting to heal. We want to put the pieces of our shattered lives back together, and move on. But the reality is, healing is not something that can be forced. It’s a journey that requires patience, self-compassion, and most importantly, the understanding that healing is not a linear process. Many of us tend to put a lot of…

What is Qigong meditation?
Qigong meditation is a form of mindfulness meditation that is rooted in Chinese medicine and philosophy. Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing and movement exercises. Qi is a concept from traditional Chinese culture that roughly means vital energy, information, breath or spirit. The second character in qigong, "gong," means cultivation or mastery, Wayne said. Qigong is therefore sometimes translated as "vital energy cultivation" or "mastery of your energy." The practice involves slow, deliberate movements combined with breath work and focus on the present moment. Qigong meditation is said to improve mental and physical health, and has been used for centuries as a tool for relaxation, healing, and self-cultivation.

When people are sad or hurting or struggling please don't tell then things will get better. Do NOT go ahead and list all the good things in their life.
This makes them feel GUILTY.
It makes them feel like they HAVE to be happy.
If someone says, "I'm so anxious about the meeting today I am dreading it"
Your response better not be, "it's okay you will do great!"
That's bullshit.
Ask what about it scares them, have them list all the things they think can go wrong and all the reasons of why they may fail. Listen. Be there.
When we are hurting its okay, it's natural to feel pain and sadness and you should let yourself feel it so don't make your friends/family/colleagues feel like you will only be around if they are happy.
Be there when they are broken.
Be there when they are torn apart and cannot move.
Don't comfort in the ways you were taught, comfort with your presence and your support.
We all want to be happy, but that is an emotion and it's fleeting so you have to be prepared for the horrible times too.
