Mindfulness Meditation: a harmful practice
Apparently learning how to dance the tango as effective to treat depression as mindfulness meditation lmao one more thing to put in the trash. No actual special power of meditation, it's just one activity as another, but it can have problematic side effects for mental health (like depression, suicide etc).
That's without all the sect issues regarding the practice as usual obviously.
I wonder how much of psychologists, sophrologists and yoga people spreading bullshit worsened the overall mental health of people in general. At that point I'm not willing to believe anything in regards to the field of psychology unless there's real concrete proofs of it working. So basically 99% of it is bullshit. The 1% is CBT.
