A/N: Idk if this would be ooc since her personality isn't available, so I just went with the flow while listening to "We fell in love in October" try listening to the song while reading <3 !!

Cuddling together, laying your head on her shoulder as she reads aloud for you to hear, you can't quite remember how you convinced her to read you a storybook, but thankfully she agreed.

Pulling the blanket up a bit more, as you huddled into the small space, her gaze fixated on the pages, reading each line with full concentration.

"This is my favorite part" she uttered underneath her breath, turning towards you with a smile, her cheeks tinted a light pink. "You've read this before?" you asked, she replied swiftly "mhm!", a soft smile embraced your features as she continued reading.

"The end..." she closed the book, carefully placing it aside. "Y/n..?" she called out softly, her voice gentle as she turns your way, only to find you vast asleep, she mumbled something incoherent underneath her breath, then let out a breezy giggle.

Slowly getting up from her place, being careful as to not wake you. Lifting you up, every movement careful and well coordinated. Not wanting to break your drowsy state.

She lays you down on the bed, fixing the blanket in place. She let out a relaxed sigh, as she smiled at your carefree nature.

She sat in the corner of the bed, gently caressing your hair, a loving gaze on your sleepy figure, she locks your tired form in her memory. She carefully lifted you by your chin, giving you a peck on the forehead.

"Sleep well love" she whispered the words, a faint pink hue on her cheeks, as she decides to go out and make some drinks.

What if every time a Yuu has failed, the timeline resets and another Yuu is summoned?

Additional points to this theory

Okay okay hear me out

As we noticed, each rendition of twst media has a different Yuu. They all are vastly different in terms of form, background, experiences, etc.

We have yuuken, yuuya, yuuka, and, of course, yuu/mc/reader.

A lot of people have been mentioning a Yuuverse and the time loop theory again because of the addition of Yuuka.

But what if? All these yuus are connected? We already have a theory of time being reset or reversed. We see how the prologue goes with Grim.

We know that game!Yuu can somewhat get visions that lead to or give a hint of an overblot. We saw how Yuu used that knowledge to spy on Vil before he OB and went to grim when flashes of the chimera came to them.

So what if, each time a Yuu fails, another one is summoned? With different traits, backgrounds, etc. to try again, to have a better chance, so history doesn’t repeat itself. So they can be saved?

Isn’t it Crowley who says “for me, for them, for you, we are all running out of time. Never let go of my hand”

We all knew that there’s something going on with the twst characters, but what if that also includes you? And all the other yuus?

What if, every time a Yuu failed and time reversed, those memories were sent to the new Yuu that arrived?

As a way to warn them? A way to help them?

And that is why we see game!Yuu have those visions. It’s a Yuu who has failed before and passed on their memories or hints to the new Yuu.

If we went a bit darker, we can say that the manga Yuus we see are the ones that have failed as well. We can say in a way, with the new yuus, each of them failed and their knowledge has passed on.

And that is why we get a new Yuu in every rendition

If the timeloop Yuu theory (the one where if a Yuu failed/died, the timeloop will restart and another Yuu will take the previous one place) is true...

that means yuuken never made it back home, he never got to go play his first official kendo match, he never got to see his teammates or his family again....

Yuuka as well...

Both Yuuken and Yuuka would of been just some kids caught up in unfortunate events.

Kids who would of wanted to go home.

They both would of died at 16-17 years old.

They both would of never reached adulthood.

They both would never get the chance achieved their own dreams.

Their own teammates and families would never get closure to what happened to either of them or where either of them were.

Their families never would get a body to bury.

Their own friends at NRC wouldn't even remember them.

....they would never get the chance to go home. They just wanted to go home...

Ace is stupid obsessed with you. You're his upperclassman by a year, but tries to be casual with you like he is with everyone. It's hard to do so when you're crushing hard on someone. Deuce is similarly afflicted, but he’s not so bullheaded about approaching you like Ace. Maybe you just want to be left alone…

Yuu is at least known by everyone, but he’s not been able to get to know you. He usually jus grinds himself in situations where he gets to know people, but when it comes to approaching you he has no idea where to start. Does he just say hi?

Being with you through nightmares, comforting you when your afraid, you're one of the only people she feels safe opening up too..

Waiting for your text, as she does her day to day activities, a bright smile appearing on her face as she hears the notification sound, hoping it was you... growing upset when she see's a message from Crowley in it's stead, hoping the next notification would be from you..

Studying together, her explaining a certain topic to you, in such a gentle soft tone, Ace practically gags at the air you two emit in front of him. "There's others hear to ya' know. You both could flirt somewhere else!" giggling as Yuuka replies back in a equally snarky tone.

Grabbing her cheeks as you peck her on the forehead, perfectly flustering and confusing her. She couldn't help but turn a bit red at the sudden boldness.

Lifting your chin, as she pecks you on the lips, her touch gentle and careful, her lips were so very soft.. The distinct scent of citrus filling your senses, muttering something you could barely focus on, due to the closeness of her face, practically a inch away from one another.
