Ace seems to be in deep denial about his feelings for the prefect. Everyone can tell the heartslabyul first year has feelings for the prefect of ramshackle but he’s still denying it! So, the rest of the first year gang take it upon themselves to help Ace come to terms with his feelings.

Genre: Fluff (shocker), the first year gang smacking some sense into Ace, Ace getting jealous, and um that’s it🤍

A loud cackle can be heard in the lounge as some people nearby glanced at their booth and some even gave them weird looks. The first year gang side eye ace. They were all trying to have a serious conversation with the red head but he couldn’t even take the situation seriously!

“Me? In love with the prefect? HAHA! Please as if!”

“We never said that you were in love with them”

“Oh” His face heats up before he quickly looks away.

“But you guys are making it seem like I am!” He says as he rolls his eyes.

“Yeah, but we wouldn’t be surprised if you were” It was Jack who spoke as he sighs and shakes his head. Ace just groans as he slumps further down onto the chair.

“Jeez why do you guys even think I like the prefect anyway?” Everyone looked at him in utter disbelief as he continued to talk.

“Are you being serious right now?”

“Yer so dumb it’s actually making my head hurt!”

“I know you’re dumb, but I didn’t know you were this dumb”

“Hey!”

“It’s a shame your parents have you as their child!”

“Okay that's so not cool!” He glares at them before getting up from his seat and grabbing his bag.

“I don’t know how many more times I have to say this but I’m only going to say it once. I don’t like the prefect!”

And he stomps off.

The rest of the group give each other a knowing look.

“You thinking what I’m thinking?”

“Yep”

“Uh huh”

“Unfortunately”

“He’s a stupid teenager in love”

“Agree” they all say in unison”

Giggles can be heard in the gym as Ace glowing glare is directed towards his upperclassman. The water bottle in his hand is crushed by how tightly he’s holding it.

“Jamil! You did really well in today's game!” You say as you hand him a water bottle. Jamil smiles and takes it from your hands. Thanking you before the two of you continue to talk.

“Oooo what’s got crabby so mad?” Ace was so busy glaring daggers at Jamil that he didn’t notice Floyd sneaking up behind him.

“Fuck off Floyd!”

“Eh? What did you just say?”

Shit

“Just leave me alone and go bother someone else”

“Mmm don’t wanna!~”

Ace just decides to ignore him as he continues to watch you and Jamil interact.

Why do you look so happy? And why are you being all touchy touchy towards Jamil?! Do you like him or something?

As ace continues to list off all the different possibilities about why you were so close to Jamil, that he didn’t notice the ball that was heading towards him at a ridiculously fast pace.

“Ace!”

“Ace look out!!”

He snaps out of his thoughts and his eyes turn to look at you.

“Huh?”

SMACK!!

The loud sound of a ball hitting something was heard in the gym as gasps echoed across the whole room.

Ace felt his whole face burn as he hisses at the impact of the ball hitting him. He groaned as he felt liquid fall from his nose.

“Ace!” He slowly opened his eyes to be met with your worried face.

He could feel his whole face flush

“Ace! Oh my sevens are you okay?”

“Floyd, why'd you do that?!”

“He was ignoring me and being rude!” Jamil just sighs as he massages his temple and sucks in a deep breath.

“Prefect, You don’t mind taking him to the infirmary do you?”

“Of course not! Ace c’mon I’m taking you to the nurses office!”

“Ughh”

“Floyd”

“Aww you guys are so boring and mean! It was funny!”

The trip to the nurse’s office was quick. You sat next to Ace as he held the ice pack near his injury. He was mumbling stuff under his breath as he stared into space.

“Ace”

Nothing

“Acee”

Still nothing

“Ace!”

“Huh” He hisses and holds his head as a massive headache forms. You quickly pass him a water and make- well more like force him to lay on your lap.

“What’d you do to make Floyd throw a basketball at you?” He scoffs as he rolls his eyes.

“I didn’t do anything!” He winces when he feels the headache come back again.

“Well you must’ve done something! He said you were ignoring him and being rude”

“What?!” He regrets it once his head starts hurting again.

“You should stop moving and shouting too much! That’s why your headache keeps coming back to get your ass!”

“Whatever”

“Anyways, what did you do?��

“I already told you, I didn’t do anything” he mumbles. Enjoying being able to lay down on your lap.

Wait what?

No he’s not enjoying it! He’s just trying to get comfortable!

“Mm that’s not what Mr mood swings said”

“Ugh I don’t-“ He stops his sentence once he remembers.

He was to busy glaring daggers at Jamil that he didn’t bother paying attention to Floyd

“Fuck my life” He says as he closes his eyes.

You tilt your head in confusion before continuing to comb your hands through his hair.

It was silent. Neither of you were talking and the two of you didn’t mind that. It was rather a comfortable silence.

That is until the doors to the infirmary were slammed open.

“What happened?”

“Ha you dummy! What ya do to make Floyd throw a ball at you?” Epel laughs as ace glares at him.

“Shut up you dwarf!”

“Eh?! Oh you little-“

“That’s enough” You thank Jack as he just nods at you before looking down at Ace who was currently laying on your lap. He raises a brow before looking at the others.

Deuce, epel, and sebek give each other a knowing look before deuce smirks.

“I see you're doing okay now. Do you feel comfortable ace?” You can hear the slight tease in his voice as you only chuckle.

The red head only looks at him confused until he realizes that he’s laying on your lap. He quickly shoots up but later regretting it as the headache from earlier quickly rushes to him.

“Shut up!” He quickly gets up before stumbling out of the nurse’s office.

“What’s up with him?” You ask. The others just shrugged.

If only you knew

It’s been a constant battle with ace and the first years. They have been trying for the last couple of weeks to help Ace come to terms with his feelings towards you. But he’s just too stubborn!

He doesn’t believe he likes you that way!

You’re his friend! He’s the first friend you made when you first got here!

The two of you only see each other as friends!

Nothing more, nothing less.

Just friends

He was still bitter at the way you were being all warm and cozy with Jamil BUT that’s because he doesn’t want you to replace him!

The walk to the mirror chambers felt longer than usual. He was busy scrolling through twsttok that he didn’t hear his name being called from behind him.

“Ace, don't make me throw something at you!”

Now that got his attention

He quickly turns around to only see you

“Ouch. You don’t want me around or something?” You joke and he just rolls his eyes.

“I was just teasing”

“Yeah I know” You walked beside him as he continued scrolling down the app.

“Where’s grim?”

“With the rest of the first years” He frowns. Weird, you never go anywhere without that furball.

“So why were you looking for me?”

“Hey I just wanted to spend some time with you” He felt his face flush.

Shit! Say something!

“Am I that charming that you couldn’t resist being away from me for too long?” He teases. He was trying so hard to not make it look like your words held so much power over him.

“Yeah you’re so charming that I can’t spend a second away from you”

His eyes widen

Okay he definitely didn’t expect that

You laugh as you smacked his shoulder

“What? You expected me to just stand there and say nothing back?”

“I well duh!” You rolled your eyes.

“No but seriously. I do want to spend some time with you”

“Well I can’t blame ya. I’m just toooo irresistible!”

“More like irritating”

The both of you laughed as you made your way to the mirror chamber.

Sevens, when was the last time Ace felt like taking someone out on a date and having the urge to kiss them?

His last relationship didn’t end all too well but with you. He just feels more…well alive.

But there’s no way in all of twisted wonderland that you won’t feel some sort of way for him.

“Y’know…I notice how weird you have been acting lately”

“Eh? Weird? Ugh, the weird one is you!”

“Shut up pea brain!” You smacked him as he only laughs.

You look cute when you’re all riled up.

“Anyways as I was saying! I noticed you have been acting rather strangely these couple of months”

“How?”

“Well for starters, you’ve been awfully clingy around me, you got ten times more protective, and you literally scare away every guy who tries to talk to me. Why’s that?” Ace's grip on his bag tightens as he tries to not look at you.

“Don’t know what your talking about”

“Oh c'mon you know exactly what I’m talking about”

“Nope. Not a single clue” You sigh as you stop walking completely.

“Ace” He stops walking and turns around to face you.

“What?”

“Why do you keep denying it?”

“What?” His brows furrowed as he frowned.

“Why do you keep denying that you like me?”

It’s almost like time stops completely. The two of you just stood there. Not saying a single word.

Until you spoke up

“Am I that bad or embarrassing for you to admit-“

“No!” You flinch at his tone and he immediately shuts up.

“No it’s not that! It’s just-“

“Then what is it? I've been waiting for a confession for ages yet you still haven’t told me anything!”

“Just tell me the truth. Do you like me or not?”

He just stood there. Shocked.

A flash of hurt was seen in your features before you sighed and turned around.

“Wait!”

You stopped and turned around to see Ace right in front of you.

Fuck it

“I do like you! I always have! I just never came to terms with my feelings because I knew you never saw me as something else but a friend!”

Fuck

He did it

He actually did it

And he could feel himself cringe at the cheesy words but he didn’t care.

He wants you to know that he likes you. More than just a friend.

You stared at him before you broke into a fit of giggles.

“Huh? What’s so funny?”

“I know”

“What” you smiled at him before booping his nose.

“I said I know. I always knew you liked me. I was just waiting for you to finally say something”

WHAT?!

“HUH?!” You giggle before kissing his cheek.

“It’s okay because I also like you too!”

Ace just stood there frozen.

“Finally!”

“Sevens you were going to give me an aneurysm with how long you took to confess”

“Congratulations trappola! You finally gathered the courage to confess to the prefect!”

“Congrats dummy”

“Yuck! All this lovey dovey stuff is making me sick!” Grim complains as he sticks out his tongue. You only giggle before looking back at Ace who was still lost.

“You okay?”

“Yeah I am….why didn’t you ever say you liked me back?”

“Because I wanted you to say it first. It took some pushing but you still told me first nonetheless” He just shakes his head before smiling.

“But I guess it wasn’t a lie when I said that I was irresistible”

“Ugh fuck off”

Now it was his turn to laugh

They were right

Why hate me

You, a young fae has been promised to marry malleus since a young age. But how is everything going to work out between the two of you if he hates you? And what if he says something that would completely ruin the last bit of hope you have for him.

You sat quietly by the window as you took a sip of your tea. Humming a small tune that your caretaker used to hum to you. As you sat by the window, you could feel your heart ache at the thought of your fiance.

Malleus draconia

The two of you have been promised to marry each other since you were young. You always loved malleus ever since you were a little girl.

But malleus on the other hand didn't like you very much. You never knew why he didn't like you. You never did anything bad to him or anything so you were always confused as to why he hated you.

But even if he didn't like you, that definitely didn't stop you from being nice to him. You would always ask him to come play with you or take a stroll around the palace garden but he would always decline.

But that didn't stop little old you. You made a promise to yourself to make malleus like you, even if it wasn't romantically you still wouldn't care as long as he feels comfortable around you.

But as you both grew older, the more you started to believe that he might never like you. He would grow annoyed with you when you would check up on him or try to convince him to go walk in the palace garden with you.

He would ignore your every attempt to make him like you.

And the thing he hated the most was when you first visited NRC.

You decided to pay a visit to NRC and to see how malleus was doing, but the moment you step foot in diasomnia malleus was quick to escort you out the dorm.

Of course you felt sad but you didn’t want to make him hate you even more so you decided to respect his wish.

Your thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock at the door.

“Come in”

You put your tea cup down and turn to see no other than lilia.

“Good evening lilia”

“Good evening y/n”

“What brings you here?” You ask as you motion him to sit down across from you.

“Well I haven’t seen my daughter in law in a while, so I just wanted to stop by and see how you are doing”

You smiled and poured him a cup of tea.

“Well I have been doing great general lilia” you tease as he just laughs.

“Well that great lady y/n”

“Oh? So we are getting formal now general lilia?”

“Well we most definitely are lady y/n”

You both were quiet for a moment before bursting into a fit of laughter.

“Ah, I haven't laughed like that in ages!”

“Well I’m glad you had your fun” he said as he took a sip of his tea.

“So how is everything going in NRC? How silver?”

“Everything is going great! Ah and silver, my sweet boy is doing great!”

“That great!…and um… how mal doing?”

“Malleus is doing just fine. Actually, he been pretty happy the past few weeks”

“Is that so?”

“Mhm. I think it has to do with that new student”

“New student?” You put your cup down and paid your full attention to him.

“Ah I forgot to mention, you know that a few weeks ago we had orientation, right?”

“Mhm”

“Well during that, the mirror summoned something- someone”

“And she isn’t from twisted wonderland”

“Oh? She is not from this world?” You say in shock.

“Nope”

“So how is she? Is she alright?” Even though you didn’t know the girl, you still felt sorry for her since she most likely found everything strange.

“Ah you and your sweet heart! But she fine, crowley is doing his best to get her back to her original world…well that what I heard”

“Mm”

“Ah! But she's been hanging out with malleus for the past few weeks! And she made a few new friends during those weeks including malleus!”

“Well that good to hear”

“Say y/n, why don’t you ever visit NRC? Silver been asking about you including sebek”

“Really?”

“Mhm”

You stay silent for a moment. You never told him about the incident with you and malleus when you first visited diasomnia.

“Well, I would like to but…you know how I’m busy all the time lilia”

“Well you don’t have to worry about that!”

“What do you mean?” You asked curiously

“Because I cleared up your schedule!”

“Eh?”

You looked at him dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.

“Yep, everyone in diasomnia is already informed about your arrival, so it would be a shame if you don’t come”

“E-everyone?”

“Mhm!”

Your heart dropped knowing malleus would most likely be angry.

“Well let’s get going now!”

“W-wait lilia!”

“No waits!”

At night raven college

“Ahh did you guys hear! The great lady y/n will be visiting today!”

“Ehh?! Really!?”

“I heard she's gonna stay here for the week!”

“We need to make sure we meet lady y/n expectations!”

If no one knew that you were coming to visit NRC, well they definitely know now by how the rumors are spreading around everywhere.

“Ahh did you hear that silver! The great lady y/n will be visiting today!”

“Yes yes I heard sebek”

By now, everyone knows that you were visiting and everyone was really excited, even people that weren’t from diasomnia.

And of course, since everyone on campus is talking about your arrival, it certainly reached the ears of a certain someone.

“She visiting…”

“Who? Oh wait, are you talking about the lady y/n? I don’t really know anything about her but from what everyone is saying she seems sweet and very popular”

He just scoffed

“Come on, she might be here by now”

“Wait, we're going to meet her?!”

Ignoring her question, malleus just pulls her towards diasomnia direction.

Stepping foot into diasomnia, you felt a wave of anxiety starting to creep up as your eyes looked everywhere for a certain dragon.

“You seem nervous”

“Me? Hah that funny”

“Are you-“

But before he could continue, the doors flew open and you started preparing yourself for what to come.

“Y/n!” You quickly turn around to see silver and sebek. You felt a wave of relief go through you and you offered them a small smile.

“Ah if it isn’t silver and sebek! It’s great to see the two of you”

“It’s great to see you again!”

“Why haven’t you come visit us sooner?”

“Ah well I have been busy with some stuff back at the castle”

“Oh”

“Well it’s good to see that you took a break!”

“Yeah…it is”

Before the two could talk any further, the door was slammed open and you turn to see malleus and a girl at the door.

“Malleus..”

“Y/n…what is she doing here?”

“She came to visit us of course! C’mon be more happy about seeing your fiancée malleus!” You saw him stiffen up and you lowered your head down so as to not make any eye contact with him.

“Oh fiancée? Malleus, you never told me that!”

You look up to see a girl standing next to him.

That must be the new student

As she looked your way you gave her a small smile and quietly chuckled when she turned red and looked away.

“Yes..um well if you excuse me I have to go do something”

“Dinner will be ready in a few hours!” Lilia tells him as malleus walks away.

You felt like breaking down right then and there. You just wanted to know why malleus hates you so much.

“Boys go help her unpack”

“Oh no! It’s fine-“

“Don’t worry, lady y/n! I’ll help you!”

“That sweet of you sebek, really but I’ll-“

“We don’t mind y/n, plus I would love if we can catch up with each other while we help you unpack”

“Mhm!”

You looked at them for a second before nodding your head.

“That would be great”

They smile and lift up your bags as they escorted you to your room.

“Akane, you should come help me prepare dinner!”

“D-dinner?” You three quickly turn around to akane as the poor girl didn’t know what to do.

“Wait father! After we’re done helping lady y/n unpack we can help you!”

“Y-yeah! Or maybe one of our chefs will!”

“You should take a break Lilia!”

“Oh but I’m not tired-“

“It’s okay we got it from here sir lilia!” You three sighed in relief when one of the chefs came running in.

“Oh well thank you!”

“So how are things with malleus?"

You froze when Silver asked you that. You didn't know how to answer without revealing too much of what's going on between you and malleus.

"Things are great.."

"Mm"

"Where do you want me to put this lady y/n!"

"You can put it down there, thank you sebek"

"Are you sure everything is good between you two?"

"Mhm" He decided not to say anything else after that, but you knew that he didn't completely believe it.

"Well thank you two for helping me unpack, I really appreciate it"

"It's no problem!"

"dinner would be serve in a few, let's go"

You three then made your way out the room and downstairs. You were a little nervous to see malleus but you calmed yourself the moment you noticed that you were getting closer to the dining area.

"Oh you three made it just on time! Come! Dinner is ready” you stared in awe as you saw all the amazing and wonderful food that was on the table. Especially when you saw your favorite.

“Where malleus?” Akane asks, you looked around and you saw that he was nowhere in sight.

“Oh I don’t know. Y/n dear”

You stiffen as you heard Lilia call for you.

“Yes?”

“Could you go get malleus? Tell him that dinner is ready” Anxiety and nausea is all you could feel. You slowly nodded your head before getting up and excusing yourself out.

As you walked down the hallway of diasomnia, you could feel your heart beat out of your chest.

You were extremely nervous.

The closer you got to malleus room, the more you could feel your heart almost bursting out.

Finally making it to his room. You softly knocked on the door.

“Mal? Dinner is-“ but before you could even finish your sentence, the door flew open and you were pulled into the room.

“What are you doing here” he asks sternly.

“Lilia asked me to come get you-“

“No”

“Huh?” His hold on you tightened as you looked at him with wide eyes.

“Why. Are. You. Here”

“I-I..” but as you expected, no words came out of your mouth.

You were beyond scared and you didn’t know what to do to not make him more mad than he already is.

“ I came to visit. Lilia made me come here”

“Are you here to kill us?! Huh?!”

You looked at him confused as he just went off on you.

“W-what? Mal what do you-“

“You know exactly what I mean! And don’t call me mal”

“I- I’m sorry but I don’t know what you are talking about!”

“Stop lying! I saw it! I saw it that day!”

“What? What did you see?!” At this point you were confused. You didn’t know what he was talking about and why he was acting like this.

“Your gonna kill me aren’t you? That why you are acting all nice and sweet. You want me dead don’t you! You are going to do the same thing your parents did to mine huh?!”

You just stared at him. You couldn’t believe what he was saying. You didn’t even know what he was saying!

“Malleus! Please just stop!”

“No! I won’t let you hurt me or anyone!”

“Malleus-“

“You should’ve died in that fire along with your parents”

Your heart stopped when those words left his lips. You stared at him in disbelief and hurt as tears started to flow down your face.

He just looks at you with hatred. Not regretting the words that just have left his mouth.

You two just looked at each other before you finally looked away.

“Alright. I’ll just leave”

Was the last thing you said before walking out the room.

That was the last time malleus and anyone else saw you.

You never came back to NRC, you never made it back to briar valley, you never made it back to the castle.

It’s like you disappeared

And…maybe you did.

Twisted captivity

Chapter 1

Twst third years x fem reader

A/n: here is the first chapter of my new series “twisted captivity” !! Again this is a yandere series so it will have some dark themes! Also, the first couple chapters will be more on the short side since It has been a while since I wrote anything and also because of my major writers block and motivation for writing. So I’m taking baby steps rn lol. But I genuinely wanna write this since it’s been on my mind for MONTHS! So enough about my rambling I really hope you guys enjoy this!

You walked down the long hallway as Crowley explained to you the rules and things you would be in charge of.

“Since your father told me you’re a researcher, you will be in charge of writing down every detail and interaction you have with the mers and also help us understand more about them and their biology!”

You simply nodded, still not believing that he has REAL mermaids and mermen’s in his care.

“You will also be in charge of feeding them, cleaning and taking care of their tanks! Though do be careful, some of them can be very wary and may attack when they feel threatened!”

“Ah that’s…good to know”

“Great! Now it’s time for you to come meet them so follow me” You followed him as he led you down a long hallway before walking through a double door which led you to a giant lab. In there you can see a big window as people rush in all sorts of directions.

“This is our lab! Here we run all our experiments and test” Your eyes grow wide as you see a couple of people roll in a big cart with an equally large tank which has a mermaid inside.

The poor thing was thrashing around in the tank as she clawed on the glass. The tank must have been made with really strong glass since it didn’t crack or break by how hard the poor thing was banging on it. The cart was rolled to another room, which you did NOT want to know about.

“Don’t worry she’ll be fine”

Something tells you she wouldn’t….

“Come follow me! I’ll show you the less aggressive ones first”

Okay now you were slowly starting to regret this

Maybe you should’ve stayed home and made yourself a good meal as you watched your favorite show. But no, you decided to show up instead.

What if this is all illegal? What if the government or whoever doesn’t even know such a thing exists?! Or maybe Crowley is working for the government?!

As you begin to panic, you accidentally bump into said man as he comes to a stop.

“Sor-“

“We’re here!” You step aside and you stare in awe as you are met with a beautiful sight.

The place looked absolutely gorgeous. It definitely didn’t look like it belonged in a research facility.

The place had a huge waterfall along with some beautiful trees and huge rocks and caves. You noticed a bridge in the center of it all and it had beautiful long vines surrounding it.

This definitely looked like it came from a fairy tale

“Welcome to the heartslabyul enclosure!” He says with a big smile.

“This place is so…”

“Amazing right? I’m glad you think so because I spent millions on this place!”

“Hey Crowley!” You both turned around to see a man with black and white hair. The man looked annoyed as he glared down at Crowley.

“Ah! Crewel! Nice seeing you here today, say why are you here?” The man scowled.

“I work here you idiot”

“Hey now that’s not a good way to talk to your boss! I have a new worker here with me and you can’t make it seem like calling me an idiot is okay!” Crowley says as crewel turns to look at you.

“You should still run while you have the chance” He says which causes Crowley to gasp.

You just awkwardly laugh as crewel and Crowley continue to bicker back and forth. You step away from the two as you decide to explore the area a bit more.

You walk down the bridge and to a small path that leads you to another beautiful part of the area. As you continued exploring, you didn’t notice the pair of eyes that peeked from under one of the lily pads.

Red eyes followed you as you continued to walk down the path.

Weird….never seen her around before

He watches you like a hawk before quickly ducking down as you turn around.

You eye the water curiously

“Weird….could’ve sworn I heard something” As you were about to walk a little closer towards the water, the sound of your name being called made you stop. You look up to see Crowley waving at you from the bridge.

“Come! I have more things to discuss with you in my office!” You just nodded but before you left, you looked back at the water one last time before walking away and to where crowley was.

As you leave, the boy slowly comes back up with curious eyes.

She looks nice….

Again sorry for such a short chapter😓 but as I said, baby steps!

And compared to back then, you feel more happy and loved.

Because Neige LeBlanche was the one to pick you back up on your feet and fix the hole in your heart.

And show you how it is to be loved

You never would’ve believed that you will move on from vil. Since at the time, you were so deeply in love with him that you couldn’t possibly move on and love another.

But look at you now

You finally moved on and met someone far more deserving of your love than vil. The person that you're with isn’t afraid to publicly admit his love and affection for you. He isn’t afraid to hold your hand and kiss you passionately in public. He isn’t afraid of letting everybody know that you're the one for him and he’s the one for you.

And that person is Neige LeBlanche

Neige loves you deeply. He loves holding your hand. He loves kissing you and taking you out on dates. He always makes time for you and doesn’t hide anything from you.

He truly loves you

And you're so happy that you finally found someone that loves you like how you love them. Someone who actually makes time for you instead of ignoring you. Someone who actually takes you out on dates instead of saying it’s a waste of time. Someone who isn’t afraid to show affection to you in public and someone who isn’t afraid to let all of twisted wonderland know that they are in love.

And the most important thing of all. You found someone who is loyal.

You groan as you hear your alarm go off. You covered your ears with the pillow, hoping it would drown out the sounds of the alarm that was currently going off.

“Y/n! Turn it off!” Grim says as he covers his ears. You roll your eyes before turning to the side to turn off the alarm. Once you did, you sat up and stretched.

“Good morning to you too grim” He yawns as he tiredly looks up at you.

“Why did you put up an alarm so early again? It’s the weekend!” You giggle before getting up.

“Because~ neige has something planned out for the both of us today!” You say excitedly as you walk to the bathroom. Grim follows tiredly.

“Am I going to stay with ace and deuce again? Ugh please no! Last time riddle went full tomato red and collared me along with ace!” He whines. You playfully rolled your eyes.

“I wonder why”

“I didn’t do anything!” You giggle as you continue to brush your teeth.

“So am I staying at heartslabyul again?” You shook your head no. He sighed in relief.

“Oh thank the sevens” After you were done with brushing your teeth and washing your face. You hurriedly walked out the bathroom to look for what to wear today.

“Hurry and brush your teeth”

“Huh? Wait! I’m coming with you?”

“Duh silly! I told you, didn't I?”

“Uh no you didn’t!”

“I did!”

“When?”

“I said he has something planned for the both of us! Now go get ready!”

“Ughhh”

After getting ready and feeding a lazy grim, you finally started making your way to where neige wanted to meet up.

You were so excited to see him again after 3 whole days of only calling and video chatting. So you got there pretty fast. You smiled when you saw neige waiting for you by the tree and you quickly made your way towards him.

"Neige!" He immediately turned around when he heard you call his name and the boy immediately smiled.

“Y/n! Oh I’m so glad to see you again!” You giggle as he pulls you into a tight hug.

“Ah! And grim also came! I’m very glad he did” Grim just yawns which makes neige giggle before taking something out of his pocket and handing it to grim.

“Here! I got this for you on the way here” Grim eyes sparkled with joy as he saw the beautiful can of tuna in neige hand.

“Wha- good quality tuna?!” Grim then quickly grabs it from your boyfriend’s hand as he begins to eat.

“Grim, what do you say?” You ask sternly as you eyed him.

“Thnak yuo!” He says as he stuffs his mouth with more tuna. Neige only giggles as you roll your eyes.

“Sorry about that”

“No it’s fine! Grim is very cute” You look at grim and cringe once you see how messy the corners of his mouth are.

“Yeah…cute but messy” Neige giggles before grabbing your hands which causes you to turn and look at him.

“I talked with the headmaster of RSA about you transferring to the school and after some bit of convincing he agreed to let you transfer there!” Your eyes widen with excitement at the news.

“Really?!”

“Mhm! And! Your dorm won’t be far away from mine! Oh! And I’ll also be the one to show you around!”

“Isn’t this amazing?!”

“It is! I can’t wait!”

“Woah woah woah! Your transfering to RSA?!” Grim screeches before looking at you with wide eyes. A hint of sadness in his eyes.

“Not only me grim, you too! Both of us are going to RSA”

“Huh? Wait, both of us?!”

“Yes, both of us!” You could see relief wash over him before he started to cheer.

“Yes! More fancy quality tuna for me!” But then his cheerful attitude goes away as he seems to remember something.

“What…what about the others? It’s not that I care about them or anything! It’s just…does ace and deuce know?” Your smile then falters as you suddenly remember about the friends you made at night raven.

“Ah…I-I forgot about that”

“Wait, does Crowley know?!”

“Umm…haha..no?”

“I’m sure Crowley won’t mind! But your friends on the other hand…” Neige then looks at you with worry. You made very good friends with the first years at night raven, so to suddenly then transfer to another school without them knowing made him a bit worried. And a little scared that you will change your mind.

“It’s fine! I’ll have a talk with them today”

“Are you sure?”

“Mhm! Everything will be fine neige”

“Your what?!”

Maybe you spoke too soon…

You awkwardly rub your arm as you sheepishly smile at your friends.

“Wait wait wait! You're telling me- us! That you are transferring to RSA?!”

“Yes…”

“But-but what about NRC?! Your friends and teachers and us?!”

“You can’t leave us!”

“Human! How dare you even think about transferring to RSA of all places!”

“That school sucks!”

“Why do you wanna finish school off in a place full of bratty little rich kids!”

“Yeah! Why go where the losers are when you can be here with us cool night raven folks!” You roll your eyes at the insults that ace and epel spit out about rsa as you fold your arms against your chest.

“I’ll be graduating this year, and I think spending my last year of school at rsa with my boyfriend will be a good idea”

They all frowned but knew that they couldn’t convince you to stay since you were already so determined to leave to rsa. Deuce sighs before giving you a small smile.

“If it’s your decision to go to rsa to finish your last year of school there then I’ll respect your decision” You smile at that as you playfully punch his shoulder.

“Thanks deuce”

“Mmph…I guess it’s fine that you’ll go…”

“You better not forget about us!”

“Don’t start thinking that those spoiled little rich kids are better than us!”

“I hope we’ll still be in contact” jacks says and you look at him with a smile.

“Of course we will. I won’t forget about my cute lil brothers that I’ll leave behind!” You say as you pull both ace and epel in a headlock as they both groan and whine for you to let them go.

“I’ll make sure to text and call you guys everyday! And we’ll definitely make plans to hang out too!”

“You better!”

You giggle as you pull them all into a group hug

“I’ll miss you guys! Don’t start causing too much trouble now okay?” They nod as they hug you back.

“RSA still sucks…”

“Ace!”

He couldn’t believe his ears once he heard that you would no longer be attending night raven college.

And to then transfer to Royal sword academy of all places made him sick. But why? Why go there when you were perfectly fine here? His brows furrowed when he heard the news from epel who was complaining to rook about how it’s not fair that those “snobby rich kids” will be able to see his big sister (you) everyday.

And during epels complaints, he heard a name that he despises oh so much.

Neige LeBlanche

Oh he’s heard of Neige LeBlanche alright

And he also knows about the lovely relationship between you and neige too. When news of Neige being in a relationship broke out, everyone was talking about it. Everyone knew that neige was in love and just the way he would talk about his mysterious girlfriend had everyone wondering who this person was.

Vil of course didn’t care about it at the time. Why would he care about Neige LeBlanche's love life? He had other things to worry about other than neige useless love life.

But when not just a week later when neige mysterious partner was revealed and was all over the news and social media with pictures of you and neige looking so deeply in love it was then when he started paying a little bit more attention. And feeling a bit weird about the situation.

You? And neige?

Impossible!

He couldn’t believe it. You actually moved on. Vil never expected you to move on from him. He never even expected you to end up with his rival of all people!

To say he was shocked when he first saw the pictures of you and neige. He couldn’t believe his eyes.

But it’s fine. Vil shouldn’t even care about who you end up with. He shouldn’t even care about you anyways. You moved on and you're in love with somebody else. He shouldn’t care that his rival neige now has you in his arms.

He has emi! The one girl he truly loves. The girl that makes his heart flutter and cheeks darken.

He loves emi, not you.

But why does he feel weird about your relationship with neige? And why did he seethe with anger when he found rook’s secret fan page account for you and neige?

It’s just a stupid fan account. Why should he even care about that?

He angrily wipes his makeup off as his eyes are glued to the tv screen.

“Hello twisted wonderland! It is such an amazing and exciting night today! I am here with neige LeBlanche tonight and today we are going to talk about the exciting news about neige love life! More specifically, his mysterious girlfriend y/n l/n!”

The camera then shows neige who sweetly smiles to the camera and everyone as pink dust decorates his cheeks.

“Haha I’m very glad to be here tonight lily! And especially if we’re going to be talking about my dear girlfriend!” The crowd awes as vil scoffs.

“Glad to have you here neige! So about this girlfriend of yours, how did the two of you meet?”

“Ahh it’s actually a funny story! I was at the wonderland mall when I first met her! I was kinda..running away from some trouble when she came by and saved me!” Again, the crowd cheers and awes at neige story.

“It was like love at first sight when I saw her! I think she looked very beautiful while she said that she didn’t since she was wearing sweatpants and a large t-shirt when we first met!”

“Haha! That cute. And so, what happened after she saved you?”

“I offered her a free meal! And to also get a chance to get to know her better!”

“Wow! All because she saved you?” Neige blushes as he nods.

Vil glares at the TV as Neige continues to talk.

“Yeah, I had a great time with her that day! After that we exchanged numbers and soon became friends”

“Aww! That so cute! I also heard that she now attends royal swords academy! Is that true?”

“It is a 100% true! I’m happy she attends the same school as me so I can see her everyday now!”

“Oh how cute is that!”

Vil grabs the remote before turning off the TV. Already having enough of the interview.

His phone then rings as emi name pops up on his notifications.

The text read.

Right. He’s with emi. He shouldn’t feel weird about you and neige.

He loves emi, not you.

I‘ll be free this weekend.

He texts back before gently putting his phone down before starting his skincare routine.

Vil is too prideful to admit that deep down he knows that he made a huge mistake of leaving you.

But he would never admit that

You like him a lot but later realize that he doesn’t like you in that way. You then decided to give up on your feelings for him and move on. And move on you did. You fell in love with somebody else and he later fell in love with you, but it was already to late.

Floyd leech

You could only stare longingly at him as he messed around with his teammates.

He looks so beautiful

You were so busy staring at him that you didn’t hear your friend calling your name from beside you until he pinched your arm.

“Ow! What the hell ace!”

“Finally! I was calling your name so many times now! What were you staring at anyways?” You look directly back at floyd and that was enough to answer his question. Ace groans.

“Ugh don’t tell me you were looking at Floyd again”

“I was not” You lied. Causing ace to roll his eyes.

“You definitely were” You just ignored him and grabbed your bag from off the floor as you stood up.

“Hey where are you going? Practice isn’t over for a few more minutes!”

“I’m going back to my dorm. I have a presentation for Mr. crewel class and I want to get it done with early”

“Ughh fine. But text me once you're done!” You waved him off and walked away. But not before taking one last look at Floyd before exiting out the gym.

Your friends always question you about your “small” crush on the unhinged tall eel boy. Always saying how can you like someone like Floyd leech? The scary second year who likes to mess and bother anyone and the Floyd leech with unpredictable mood swings.

But you never really cared about their opinions on Floyd.

You find Floyd to be very beautiful.

His fair skin and tall height really caught your interest. But what captured your attention the most were his eyes. The pretty heterochromia eyes that he has really puts you in a trance and you could stare at them for hours.

Floyd leech has you deeply head over heels for him

But the thing is…Floyd doesn’t seem to like you in that kind of way.

He likes you as a friend yes but as a crush no. That’s the only thing that’s stopping you from telling him your feelings.

You sigh as you make your way back to your dorm. Maybe you should just give up on floyd. You already dropped so many obvious hints about your feelings for him but he is either oblivious or doesn’t feel the same and is ignoring your obvious hints.

“Oh floyd…what are you doing to me”

4 months later

Today is night raven college basketball team's big game against royal sword academy.

Cheers could be heard in the gym as everyone cheered for the night raven basketball team. You remember ace excitedly telling you about their big game a few weeks ago and that you should definitely come instead of being locked away in your dorm like always.

And of course you came. You didn’t want to disappoint ace by not showing up to his basketball game.

“C’mon you got this ace!” You and your friends cheered. Ace looks up at you guys and smiles before passing the ball to one of his teammates.

As the game continued, You couldn’t help but stare at one specific player.

His long brown hair tied up in a bun and the total concentration looked on his face as the game grew more intense.

You practically have heart in your eyes.

You all cheered loudly as he managed to shoot a score which resulted in night raven winning against RSA. You cheered loudly and felt your heart skip a beat as jamil looked at you and winked.

You ran down the bleachers and congratulated Ace before walking up to Jamil and congratulating him on the win.

“You did amazing out there!”

“Thank you y/n” He smiles. You two began to talk, unaware of the pair of eyes staring both of you down.

He frowns as he watches how nervous and giddily you were around jamil.

“What’s with that frown dear brother? You just won against the royal sword academy basketball team. You should be smiling” Jade teased. He was fully aware of what caused his brother's mood to instantly change.

“I’m going back to the dorm” Floyd tells his brother before exiting out the gym doors.

Floyd leech is in love with you. But sadly, he fell in love when you started moving on.

Now he’s the one who’s head over heels

And it’s already too late

“Are you listening y/n?” You blinked a couple times before mentally cursing yourself once you notice that you have completely spaced out.

Jade beautiful mismatched eyes stared at you as you hurriedly looked away while mumbling something underneath your breath. Already feeling shy and embarrassed.

“ ‘m sorry jade. I didn’t mean to space out” Jade smiles.

“Don’t worry y/n. Are you sure you're alright though? We can study another time if you’re not feeling well”

“Oh no! I was just thinking about something! Let’s continue studying”

“Oh? Are you sure?”

“Hundred percent sure! Don’t worry”

The two of you continue to study for the next hour. Every so often you would sneak glances at jade and watch as he reads through some notes while asking if you understand the subject.

You tried your best to concentrate, you really did! But his smooth, calm voice and beautiful heterochromia eyes were easily distracting you from paying attention.

The study session between the two of you soon came to an end and you had to stop yourself from asking him to stay for at least a few more minutes.

“I’m looking forward to our next study session. And good luck on tomorrow’s test” He says as he packs up his things. The two of you bid each other goodbye and you watched as he walked further and further away from your dorm. Once he was gone, you walked quietly back to your room as Floyd words ran through your head.

“Sorry shrimpy, but it seems like jade doesn’t like you in that way”

“Ah really?”

“He said he only sees you as a friend. Aw man and I was starting to get excited to have you as my in law! Stupid jade” You giggled at your friend. Ignoring the throbbing pain in your heart knowing that jade doesn’t like you back.

7 months later

You walk down the empty halls of night raven. It was lunchtime so everyone was in the cafeteria. You make your way outside with two trays and smile once you spot a certain someone.

He was leaning against a tree with his eyes closed. You could tell that he was asleep.

“Silver” You call out. You gently lay down both of the food trays before shaking silver awake. He slowly opens his eyes and your heart skips a beat once his beautiful violet irises meet yours.

“I brought you your lunch” You say as you sit comfortably beside him. You hand him his tray and he smiles at you.

“Thank you y/n”

“No problem. So, how’s training going so far?”

The two of you chatted for the rest of lunch time. Talking about how your day has been so far and other stuff. The two of you were so engrossed by the conversation that you two didn’t hear someone calling out your name from the distance.

Jade watches as you laugh at whatever silver said as his cheeks grow pink and he’s looking at you so lovingly.

“Man seems like jellyfish got to them before you” Floyd says behind him. Jade just watches as you feed silver some of your food. He swears he could see the hearts in your eyes as you feed silver.

He forces a smile. Ignoring the throbbing pain in his heart.

“They are happy. That’s all that matters”

And he walks away with a broken heart.

Warnings: mentions of blood and a bit of body horror(?) I think idk but still putting that here just in case! Lots and LOTS of angst, malleus is bit of a jerk in the beginning. Angst to comfort/fluff

News of your disappearance was broadcasted everywhere. The moment you stepped foot outside NRC grounds and never made it back to briar valley, all hell broke loose.

The people of briar valley were in panic

What happened to the future queen of briar valley? Where did she go? Was she abducted? And if so, is she even alive? Is the future queen alive?

What if she dead?

Those are the questions the people ask.

What could have possibly happened to you?

Lilia sighs as once again, nothing….no signs of you.

He’s been sending out royal guards to go out and look for you. He spent sleepless nights trying to find any evidence of your disappearance, but yet nothing.

When the news of your disappearance reached him, he was a mess. He was worried! You were just in NRC and now they’re saying you’re missing?!

He blames himself for not stopping you that day. He blames himself because he thinks he’s the reason why you disappeared.

If only he stopped you from leaving. If only he asked what was wrong. If only he didn’t let you come to NRC that day then maybe you would still be here.

Flashback

The sound of the door slamming shut reached the ears of everyone in the dining hall. The sounds of heels clicking off the marble floors and sniffling reached Lilia's ears.

And there you were

Standing by the doorway of the dining hall with an apologetic look.

“Sorry Lilia, but I have to go now” He frowns at your appearance.

Are you crying?

“Oh dear, what happened?” He asks as he stands up but you quickly stop him.

“No no! No need to worry about me. I-I just don’t feel well”

“Are you sick lady y/n?!” Sebek worriedly yells out. You giggle at his concern before smiling.

“Something like that. But I’ll go home now” Silver then quickly stands up.

“Your bags! I’ll go help-“

“There is no need, I have it all under control” You say before giving him a soft smile. Lilia still felt like something was wrong.

“Dear, did you have a fight with malleus?” He watches as your figure stiffens at the mention of the dragon boy's name.

“O-of course not! Mal is very good to me”

Something isn’t right….

You apologize once more before leaving.

That was the last time anyone saw you

And lilia regrets not stopping you

“Father” Lilia was snapped out of his thoughts by silver who stood by the doorway. Looking at him worriedly.

“Silver..” He smiles at the sight of his son.

“You haven’t slept at all” Lilia just smiles.

“Don’t worry about little old me, I’ll be fine” Silver frowns at his father's words. His father may be a fae, but silver knows that even faes can get tired.

“Y/n would not like this if she saw you right now” He says. Silver is also worried about you but he is even more worried about his father’s health.

Lilia just looks down knowing his son is right. You would always tell Lilia to take care of himself. Hating to see him or anyone sick because of poor health.

“How the search in your end” Silver looks down with disappointment.

“Nothing, we couldn’t find any traces of lady y/n” He says. Lilia sighs before turning around.

“Very well then….”

“Father”

“Yes?”

“Please take care of yourself….y/n would hate to see you stress”

Lilia only nods before silver excuses himself

“Just where could you be y/n” Lilia mumbles as he looks out the window.

Malleus walks around the palace garden, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the garden.

Ever since your disappearance. Him and the rest were allowed to go back home to handle the situation of your disappearance. To say he was displeased about leaving Akane alone at NRC was an understatement.

He hated everything about this.

So what if you're missing, Why is he supposed to care? Why is everyone making this a huge deal?

He hates that everyone is in panic and worried about your disappearance.

Future queen of briar valley missing? HA, you would never have been his queen in the first place if he got a say in it. He is only marrying you because of his parents' promise to yours!

You're a selfish and ignorant fool! Just like your parents. Your parents are the reason his parents are gone! Wanting the throne but only died in the process trying to achieve it.

That's why you're still alive. Because you want to finish what your parents have started!

That's why he promised himself to never love you! To not fall into the same trap his fell into.

Ever since he was little, after what he saw that day. He made sure not to fall for you.

Why couldn’t you just give up? Always with a sweet smile on your face. Couldn’t you see he is trying not to fall into the same trap his parents fell into? Why are you still so nice to him!

He did everything he could to make you give up and hate him but nothing! You called him sweet names even if he told you he hated them. You always made sure that he was okay and always looked after him.

You even cooked him food! Food that he never ate. Even after hours of working on it, he never ate it.

What if you poisoned it? He can’t fall for that!

He watches as you fail to get his trust. And when he thinks you have given up, nope! You still tried! You still continue to be that sweet and doting girl he grew up with.

Even when you guys were little, you were so nice and sweet to him. Always asking if he wanted to play with you, sharing your snacks with him even if he declined, asking him if he wants to take a stroll around the palace gardens, hell even asking him for a dance during balls!!

And he hates himself for falling for your charms. He hates that his little younger self fell for your foolish acts. That is why he made it his mission to act EXTRA cold towards you.

Even if his heart aches a bit at the small frown that decorates your face when he declines or ignores your attempts of gaining his trust.

But he can’t fall for the same trap his parents fell into, he can’t!

Whispers could be heard as Malleus walked down the palace halls.

Of course, once again mentioning you when they see him. One glare was enough to shut them up.

Malleus makes his way to Lilia room with both sebek and silver behind him. Once he reaches lilia room, the door opens.

“Malleus we need to talk” Malleus raises a brow.

“Is something wrong Lilia?”

“Yes please come in” malleus walks in as both silver and sebek wait outside. Lilia closes the door shut and sighs.

“Malleus…before y/n disappearance, did the two of you have an argument?” Malleus frowns at the mention of your name before letting out a deep sigh.

“Why are we talking about her? Why does it matter?” Lilia's eyes widen at Malleus' lack of concern for you.

“Malleus…she your fiancé”

“And so what if she’s my fiancé? She did us a favor for finally going away”

“Malleus”

“Why do you guys even care for seven sakes! She could have killed us if she becomes queen! It’s good that she is gone now so none of us could be in danger now!” Lilia stares at malleus with a hint of disappointment.

“Malleus, why do you think she dangerous?”

“Because she’ll turn out just like her parents. She’ll end up killing me after she becomes queen, isn’t that the whole reason why my parents are dead?!” Lilia's eyes widened in shock. Did malleus really think you’ll turn out like your parents.

“How-how did you know?”

“Because I saw it that day…I saw my parents die in the hands of her parents” Lilia sits down and motions for malleus to do the same. As the future king of briar valley sits down, Lilia begins talking.

“Malleus, you have it all wrong”

“What” Lilia pauses before talking again.

“Y/n had nothing to do with her parents plans of overtaking the throne, she doesn’t even know the real reason why her parents died. She thinks they died in a fire accident but they didn’t”

“Y/n never intended to hurt any of us. All the wrong things her parents did had nothing to do with her. She is innocent malleus, believe me when I say that she innocent”

Malleus looks shocked. Eyes wide and mouth agape.

Your innocent?

But-

“She has no clue about anything. She isn’t trying to kill you or any of us when she becomes queen. She genuinely loves you malleus”

“Because the way her eyes shine brighter than a thousand stars with adoration and love when she talks about you is proof that she will never do something like that to you”

She loves me?

“Impossible! That can’t be-“

“It’s true” His eyes snapped to the voice that interrupted him. It was silver.

“Silver what are-“

“I’m sorry father, but I can’t help but to stand up for lady y/n” His eyes then land to malleus.

At this point malleus was confused

You're not trying to kill him? Or the others? You're not trying to overtake his throne? You actually love him?

“I believe you need some time to think. Sebek, come take malleus back to his room please”

“Of course lord Lilia!”

Malleus gets up from his seat as he makes his way towards the door. As he was about to leave, Lilia called out to him.

“She not like her parents and she would never be”

Malleus then turns around and walks away

He misunderstood everything….

The sounds of birds chirping and the sound of the water stream calmed you as you continued walking down the rocky path.

How long has it been since you left? About….two weeks now…

You're sure Lilia and the others are worried sick but those cruel words that left malleus lips that night stuck to you like glue.

You should’ve died in that fire with your parents!

What did you even do to deserve such cruel words? Does malleus hate you that much?

Your thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sudden shouts and sounds of horses. You quickly ran from the path and hid behind a tree. You peeked and watched as multiple men in horses rode past you.

It was the Royal guards

They were definitely looking for you

You looked down before sighing again

“How long should I stay out here”

You won’t lie. You miss your home. But then again, you don’t want to face malleus again.

“Why do you hate me mal? Why?”

But your question was left unanswered

Suddenly, you felt a small pinch in your arm. You looked down at your arm to see a needle before looking around to see who did it. By the time you saw that you weren’t alone your vision started blurring.

You felt multiple hands grab you but you struggled as to whatever they injected you with was now flowing in your system.

“N-no..l..someone…someone please help!”

Your eye’s flutter open and you can feel your head ache. You groaned at the headache but then you started to feel weird. Very weird.

You didn’t know why, but your heart began to beat very fast for some reason. You look down to see that you were only in a long white nightgown dress.

But something still felt off

You then moved but stopped when you felt a sharp pain on your back. You also heard the sounds of chains hitting the ground and realized that you have chains on both of your wrists. You couldn’t move right as the pain in your back grew more intense.

What happened to you?

Where are you?

Suddenly, you hear a door open and you look up to see a shady man standing by the doorway.

“Your awake”

“Where am I?!” You scream out.

“Woah woah easy there now! No need to get all mad”

“What did you do to me?! You better h-have no-“

“Woah course not! But…we did something even better” He smirks and your eyes widen in fear at what he meant by that. He then calls some people over and you wait in fear.

What you saw next broke your heart as you started to shake in fear, sadness, and in rage.

3 strong tall men come in the room while also carrying something big ... .something big and something that means so much to you.

It was your wings

They have cut off your wings…

“Do you realize how much madol we could make off your wings? Especially since you're also a fae and even a royal fae at that!” He says as he lets out a loud laugh. You just stare at your wings that were held up on display in horror.

“We will be rich boys!”

They all cheered as all you could do was stare in agony.

“Thanks for wandering off all alone in those woods! Now we’ll make millions!”

They continue to cheer in front of you as you begin to cry. The pain from your back where your wings used to be and the pain in your heart was too much for your poor body.

How can people be so cruel?

Suddenly, their cheers were interrupted from a loud bang coming from outside. They stopped and looked at each other.

“What is that?”

“I-“ but before anyone could talk. The door to where you were slammed opened. From what you could make from your blurry vision, it seemed to be a guard.

Wait…a guard?!

“Lady y/n!”

“S-silver?”

You said before your body gave up.

You were back. You were finally back. But when Lilia saw the state that you were in when silver came in the castle holding you with blood covering him and you he felt like everything stopped.

He saw how much blood covered you and your dress. And his eyes widened in horror when he realized that your back had the most blood.

“Father….t-they..those bastards cut off her wings”

Immediately, he called in the royal doctors to clean and treat your wounds. He was devastated for you and felt like he failed you by not keeping you safe.

Those guys will pay for what they have done to you. He’ll make sure of it.

Lilia watches as you peacefully lay down on the bed. You were still unconscious. Maybe it was from the shock.

“I’m sorry I failed you my dear”

The door suddenly opens and he sees a worried malleus. Malleus' eyes then land on you before a look of guilt overcomes his face.

“You can come in” Lilia says. Malleus nods before coming in and closing the door. He didn’t know what to say or do. Still ashamed of his past actions.

It was silent for a moment. None of them said a single word. Until Lilia decided that someone had to speak up.

“The doctors said she will be fine. She is a strong one after all” Malleus nods.

“She’ll wake up in a bit” Again, malleus nods.

“And when she does you better apologize”

“I will. I’m very disappointed in my actions and for causing so much pain and distress to y/n”

Lilia nods.

“Silver asked me to tell you that the guys who did this to y/n are now in the castles dungeon waiting for punishment”

“Very well then” He then gets up

“I want you to stay here and look after her while I’ll go deal with them” Malleus nods. Lilia looks at you one last time before heading out.

Now it was only you and malleus. He hesitates if he should sit down next to you or not. But he decides on the first one.

He sits down and watches as you peacefully sleep. He feels guilty. Extremely guilty. If only he wasn’t so consumed with anger and hatred then maybe this could have all been avoided.

If only he didn’t spit out those cruel words to you that night then maybe you wouldn’t have been in danger.

He hates himself for causing you so much pain

And he’ll respect your wish if you no longer want to see him again or even decide to not marry him.

After all, he was really a piece of shit towards you

“M-mal?” His heart drops and he quickly turns to see you looking at him with curious eyes.

“Y/n” You look around and realize you were back at the palace. But then you quickly gasp when you remember.

“M-my wings…t-those monsters c-cut off my wings!” He could feel his heart ache when tears started rolling down your cheeks.

“I’m sorry….for everything” You were already sitting up as you continued to cry. Malleus didn’t know what to do. He was in distress seeing you crying and not knowing how to comfort you. He quickly got up and sat next to you in the bed as he then pulled you against his chest. He hugged you tightly as you continued to tremble in his arms by how much you were crying.

“My wings! My precious wings!”

“I know I know” He said as he tried to say comforting words as he held you. It was like that for a while until you finally started to calm down. All you could hear in the room was small sniffles coming from you.

Malleus still had a tight hold around you. Well not too tight since he doesn’t want to hurt you, especially your back.

“Y/n…I’m sorry this happened to you. And I also want to apologize about my earlier behavior towards you” You stayed silent.

“I know that my actions and words cannot be forgiven. But I still want you to know that I am truly sorry for the things I have done and said to you”

“And I’ll also make sure that those fools who dare to do this to you pay”

Again you were silent

Malleus didn’t mind your silence. Since again he was also not expecting you to forgive him straight away or even talk to him after everything.

“Malleus” He stiffened a bit when you said his name. Heart racing against his chest. He was nervous.

“I won’t say I’m not forgiving you…but I’m also not saying I’m forgiving you now”

“I will forgive you if you show me you truly are sorry after everything you’ve done” He nods.

“I’ll do anything to show you how truly sorry I am y/n”

You stayed silent and continued letting malleus hug you. You were quite satisfied with malleus answer.

“Very well then”

And trying he did. After malleus left your room to let you rest, he made his way down to the castle dungeon.

Once he got there, the guys were already in bad shape. They were severely beaten and they were already cowering in fear once they saw malleus.

“P-please! Have mercy!”

“W-were very s-sorry for w-what we have done!”

“Mercy? Sorry?!” He says furiously.

These fools have the audacity to beg for mercy and apologize even after what they did to you?!

“You guys have made a huge mistake cutting off a fae’s wings. And for what? Money?! And now you want me to show you mercy and take your apology?!” They shake in fear at malleus rage.

How foolish could these people be?

“From today onwards, you guys will suffer inhumane tortures until you can no longer take it anymore” Lilia says with a sinister grin.

“Guards! Take these fools to the torture chambers” loud pleas and apologies came from the men as they were dragged to the torture chambers.

Lilia then turns to malleus

“Has y/n awakened?”

“She has” Lilia nods.

“Did you apologize?”

“I did”

“And what did she say?”

“She told me that she will forgive me but not right now. I’ll have to work for her forgiveness and I promise I’ll do just that” Lilia smiles before patting malleus back.

“Well then, good luck”

You recovered over time. The people were happy that their future queen was found and safely protected in the palace’s walls.

Malleus and lilia decided to keep your accident a secret away from the people. Not wanting to cause any problems.

Lilia continues to check up on you. After everything that happened, he is scared that something like this will happen again.

But you try to calm him down and tell him that if anything is troubling you, you’ll tell him.

Which has calmed him down a bit. For now.

Silver is delighted that you're back and that now he has more time to spend with you. Whether it be walking around the palace garden, going into town, or even napping with him under some tree. Whatever it is, he doesn’t care because he loves spending time with you.

Sebek is also relieved that they have found you and that you have recovered. But still furious about what those people did to you. So That why he is always by your side 24/7 when you go outdoors, not that you mind.

And malleus. He is doing his absolute best to gain your forgiveness and to insure your safety. He doesn’t want to see you in pain ever again. He would never forgive himself if he saw you in pain again. Whether it be from others or worse, himself.

And you're happy that he is trying his hardest for your forgiveness.

To gain back your trust

Yes Ik I did say I wanted to post part 2 of the vil angst and this at the same time but I finished this one early than the vil one so I couldn’t stop myself from posting it right away😓 but I hope part two clears up the bit of confusion from part one! (Why malleus hated reader!)

But! If your still confused. Basically reader’s parents were trying to overtake the throne and so they pretended to be very nice and lovely people which tricked malleus parents! That why he says “I can’t fall into the same trap my parents did!” Because his parents fell into reader’s parents fake kindness. Which resulted their deaths! (I hope that made sense..)

Chapter 2

Twst third years x fem reader

I need to make a schedule or something so you guys can know when I’ll drop a new chapter😭😣 I be feeling bad when I have you guys waiting without a proper schedule😞

You were in that damn office for two FUCKING hours. You felt like quitting right then and there before even getting the job because of how long it took Crowley to explain to you all the things you were going to be in charge of from now on.

And it took an extra hour in that office because he gave you LOADS of paperwork for you to sign. And if you were being completely honest, you barely read anything that was on there. Which was probably a dumb idea considering that you didn’t know what you just signed up for.

But after those dreadful two hours in Crowley's office, you finally got to go home and start your first day as a researcher and caretaker tomorrow.

Let’s just hope that everything goes well

You yawn as you make your way down the long white halls. Seriously you were dying of sleep since your mother and father suggested having a little celebration party last night after you got the job. You grabbed your key card from your pocket before scanning it and watching the doors to the enclosure open.

Today you will be visiting two different locations. The first one being the heartslabyul enclosure and the second one being savanaclaw.

You walk in and couldn’t help but admire the scenery in front of you.

You wonder how much Crowley paid for all of this

You dig through your bag before pulling out your notebook and pen. Crowley specifically said to always have your notebook and pen on you at all times and to always write down every single bit of interaction you have with the mermen.

You didn’t ask why since you didn’t want to stay a second longer in that office.

The sound of water splashing and light laughter was enough to pull you out of your thoughts. You looked to where the sound was coming from before slowly making your way towards the sound.

The sound of water splashes, clicks and chirps soon grew louder as you saw two mermen messing around with each other. You silently watched as the one sitting on top of the rock cackle and pointed at the blue hair merman who angrily clicks and chirps at the red head.

You opened your notebook before quickly jolting down the interaction.

He did say to write down every single interaction the mermen have with you or with each other.

As you continue writing down stuff in your notebook. The sound of Crowley's voice coming from the Walkie Talkie made you jump as you dropped your notebook and pen. And you weren’t the only one who got scared too.

The two mermen who were just splashing each other with water and bickering not too long ago soon stop before quickly turning to where the sound came from. The moment they saw you they both went underwater.

“Shit!”

You said as you quickly scrambled to get your things.

“W-wait! I don’t mean no harm!” You say as you walk to where they were last seen. You continue to call out for them but nothing.

You were a bit bummed out but didn’t hold it against them. You would’ve been scared if someone was watching you and your every move too.

You waited for a bit before turning around and getting ready to leave but just when you were about to start walking you heard a tiny splash from behind you.

You turned around and saw red and blue eyes staring intensely at you. They weren’t fully out of the water. Only halfway up so the only thing you can see is the top of their head and eyes.

You grew a bit uncomfortable and nervous since it looked like they were about to rip your head off.

“Uh…hi” You waved.

The two mermen didn’t say or do anything. They just continued to stare at you.

“My name is y/n. I’m-"

“You”

“Pardon?”

“I..saw…you” He said. You can tell he didn’t know how to speak the human language as he stuttered a bit and would pause from time to time to get the right word.

“Me?” You ask as you point at yourself. The boy nods.

“I saw you…here ….last time” You were confused at what he meant by that. Until you remember the strange sound and the feeling of eyes on you when Crowley first brung you here.

“Oh! Wait, that was you?” He nods again.

“Last time?” The one with blue hair finally spoke up as he looked at the red head and then you.

“Mhm! Crowley was showing me around yesterday” His mouth forms an O shape before nodding.

“I’m y/n! You guys are?”

“Ace”

“Deuce” You smiled.

“Nice to meet you ace and deuce!” You extended your hand for them to shake but they just looked at it confused.

“Oh um it’s a handshake”

“Hand?”

“Shake?”

“Mhm like this” You grabbed your own hands and shook them. Demonstrating on how to shake hands.

“Like that!”

“Oh!”

You then stick out both your hands as the two grab it and shake it.

“Nice to meet you guys”

“Nice to meet you!” They both said in unison.

The two boys smiled and you couldn’t help but find it adorable.

They both look really young.

I hope Crowley didn’t kidnap literal children!

Twisted Captivity

Prologue

A/n: im so excited for this story and I can’t wait to write the first chapter! I tried to make the prologue look as interesting as possible but I think I failed💀😭

“What’s this?” You asked your father as you stared at the paper in front of you curiously.

“Read it” You eyed him suspiciously before grabbing the paper in front of you and reading it.

Twisted raven

“Um…and what does this have to do with me?” Your father rolls his eyes before setting his cup of coffee down.

“A dear friend of mine owns that aquarium. Recently he told me about how a couple of his workers quit for some unknown reason and how he has to do extra work now” He says as he walks back to refill his cup.

“And so I told him that you might be interested in the job”

“You told him what?!” You ask. It’s not that you don’t want the job, you’re just confused and shocked about how your dad made you accept something without you knowing about it first.

“Let me finish” You huff before sitting back down.

“I told him that you wouldn’t mind since I know how much you love those little sea creatures”

“Not only sea creatures, but the whole ocean itself!”

“See what I mean” You rolled your eyes as you felt your face heat up.

“Anyways, this would be great for your little sea creature diary”

“Once again it’s my research journal dad”

“Same thing” You rest your head on the table as you continued scrolling through your phone.

“This job is perfect for you dear”

“Not only will you do something that you enjoy, the pay is also really good” He says as he walks over to the sink to throw his dirty cup in.

“Well that’s all I wanted to tell you! Thank you so much for letting me come over dear”

“You sound like I don’t allow you in my house”

“Because you don’t!” You chuckle before getting up and giving your dad a hug.

“Bye! Tell mom I said hi and that you guys should come over for dinner when you’re free”

“Of course! Now please do think about it! I can’t stand him whining any longer” He says as he rubs his temple.

“I will. Thanks dad”

“Ah! You must be y/n right?” You nod your head as the man with the crow mask shakes your hand.

“Oh I’m so glad you came! I was getting worried for a second thinking you might’ve changed your mind!”

“And then I would’ve have to take care of those ungrateful brats!” You just stood there awkwardly as he whispered to himself.

This is my new boss?

“Oh! How rude of me! My name is Crowley! I am the founder and owner of twisted raven!”

“It’s a pleasure meeting you Mr. Crowley”

“Pleasure meeting you to Ms. L/n! But you can just call me Crowley! No need for the formalities”

“Ah okay”

“Now follow me!” The man quickly turns around before walking away. You quickly follow suit.

“Your father told me you’re a researcher”

“Ah yes something like that”

“Great! Then I think you will definitely like it here! Perfect for the job already”

“What was that?”

“Nothing!”

Weird…he sure likes to mumble things

“All the sea animals and creatures we have here are very different from one another! Some may be aggressive while others are not. Some poisonous and some not! So do be careful when you handle them”

“We can’t have any more accidents”

“What was that last part?”

“Nothing important”

“Oh okay”

“Anyways! I would like for you to be in charge of feeding them and cleaning their tanks! I would also like it if you could write down anything that happens between you and the mers”

“We’ve been wanting to get more information about them but they’re just not cooperating with us!”

Your brows furrowed at that

What does he mean by mers?

“You will be in charge of group 3 while some of my other workers will take care of group 1 and 2”

You frown

Group 3? What does that even mean?

“Um…Mr- I mean Crowley…what do you mean by group 3?” He halts before turning around.

“What?”

You both stared at each other in confusion.

“Did your father not tell you?”

“Tell me what?” You asked. Now you were confused but also curious.

“What did your father tell you exactly y/n?”

“Erm- that you need workers and that this is an Aquarium?” You can see his eye twitch as he still had on that cheerful smile on his face.

“Oh”

“Did I say something wrong?”

“No no no….its just that-”

“This isn’t an aquarium”

“It’s a research facility”

“A what now?”

“Research Facility!”

“Oh”

“And I suppose he also didn’t tell you about the beautiful creatures we have here in this facility, correct?”

“Um…no?”

“Great! More work for me”

“Mm?”

“Nothing! Ah just follow me! I’ll show you what you will have to do!” You did as he says as you guys continued walking down the long hall.

This will be a long day

mas gostaria de pedir uma imagem de Leona e Jamil (meus favoritos) onde após um acidente na aula de poções ele se divide em dois, um normal e outro no estado overblot, ambos os lados apaixonados pelo leitor (feminino se for não te incomoda), mas enquanto os estados normais não admitem isso seja por vergonha ou medo de serem rejeitados, o lado overblot não se importa com isso e trata o leitor como uma divindade, deixando suas versões normais cheias de ciúmes, e o pobre leitor confuso e gostando um pouco da situação porque eu já tinha uma queda pela Leona ou pelo Jamil, por favor

You don’t know what happened. One second both you and your lab partner were working on a potion together and the next thing you know your vision is all foggy and your throat is burning from the explosion.

Great

You cough as you try to make out anything from the fog. You look around for your lab partner. Trying to find them through the pink fog.

So you call out their name

“Jamil?”

“I’m here” You looked behind you to see jamil. He offered you a hand and helped you get up as you thanked him.

“Is everyone alright?” Professor Crewel asks as all the students nod their heads. He sighs as he rubs his temple once he turns to the two of you.

“You two. Didn’t I make myself clear when-“ But before Crewel could finish his sentence, his eyes widened as he stared behind the two of you. You and Jamil looked at each other confused before turning around to see what got professor Crewel so shocked.

There, behind the two of you stood another Jamil. But not just any Jamil, it was his overblot form.

Eyes wide and mouth agape, jamil takes a couple steps back as he couldn’t believe his eyes.

How is this possible?!

As Jamil panicked. The other “Jamil” looks at you before making his way towards you. You just stood there in shock as “Jamil” grabs your hand and pulls you towards the door.

“W-wait! Where are you taking me?” You asked as you tried to pull your hand from his. “Jamil” just looks at you before smiling.

Smiling?!

“Scarabia”

You just looked at him dumbfounded. Scarabia? Why does he want to take you there?

“Why?”

“You seem hungry. I want to cook you a fine meal”

Again, you just stood there as you tried to process everything. “Jamil” takes your hand again and tries to lead you to the chamber of mirrors to take you to Scarabia.

But before he could do that, Jamil quickly grabs your other hand. This caused overblot Jamil to turn around and then glare once he sees that it was normal Jamil who stopped him.

“Let go”

“No”

Poor you just stood in between them as the two of them glared at each other.

“Can you two please let go of my hands? It hurts!” The two quickly let go and you sigh in relief once they did.

“Sorry, do you want me to take you to the nurse's office?” Before you could answer, overblot Jamil scoffed.

“Don’t even try, I’ll take her”

“That won’t be necessary. I’ll take myself there” You then turned to Crewel.

“Mr.Crewel, can I please go to the nurse's office?” You look at crewel with pleading eyes. Hoping he lets you go so you can remove yourself from this awkward situation.

“Go ahead” You thanked him before quickly running out the classroom.

You were later informed that it would take about a week for overblot Jamil to disappear.

So for the rest of the week, you’ll have a very clingy and possessive “Jamil” following you wherever you go.

But you didn’t really mind, he would make you meals, help you with homework, and even cuddle with you when you feel like taking a nap.

So it wasn’t that bad.

But Jamil on the other hand, he hated it.

He didn’t like how the other version of himself got all your attention. He didn’t like how his other version got to cook for you and help you with stuff.

He didn’t like how his other version was able to be really affectionate towards you and wasn’t afraid to show it.

Jamil has liked you for a very long time now, but the thing that stops him from ever telling you was his fear of getting rejected by you.

He was afraid that you wouldn’t feel the same and ruin the friendship that the two of you built.

Jamil glares at his other version from across the cafeteria as you gush and praise him for his cooking skills. Kalim looks at Jamil and then you and other Jamil before looking back at Jamil again.

“Say Jamil. Why don’t you just tell y/n about how you really feel?”

“What?” Kalim continues to chew before swallowing his food.

“Why don’t you just tell her that you like her?” He says before stuffing his mouth with food again.

“You wouldn’t understand Kalim. Wish it was that easy” he mumbles before looking back at you.

“You never know, she might like you back” He says with a mouth full of food.

“Just tell her” Jamil continues to look at you. His heart quickens at the sight of your smile.

“Maybe you're right”

…..

“Also, please don’t talk with your mouth full” kalim throws a thumbs up before continuing to scarf down his lunch.

Your time with overblot Jamil has come to an end. You woke up one morning with great hunger and before you could ask “Jamil” if he could cook you something, he was gone.

You were a bit disappointed. You might have grown a little attached to him but it wasn’t your fault!

Your thoughts were interrupted by the knock on the door. You were a bit confused since it was a Saturday and it was still early morning. So who would be up this early knocking at your door?

You opened the door only to see Jamil. He was holding a container and looked…nervous?

“Oh! Hey jamil” You say with a smile.

“Hey, can we talk? I brought you some food” You looked surprised before nodding your head.

“Sure”

“Leona?”

“Fuck!” You turn around to see the beastman on the floor. You helped him stand up as he rubs his head and scowls.

“Hey herbivore, what did you do to the potion?” You gasp, offended that he thought YOU were the cause of the explosion.

“Excuse me! I didn’t do anything! I simply followed the instructions professor Crewel told us to do” You huff. Leona just rolls his eyes but suddenly he stands still when he sees a figure behind you.

“What in sevens name” You raised a brow before turning around and gasping once you see what it is.

It was Leona!

But

Not really Leona….

It was his overblot form!

“Leona” stands there for a moment before yawning. The moment the two of you made eye contact he walks over to you and takes your hand before leading you out the classroom.

“Hey! Where- let go!”

“Hush herbivore. I just need a pillow for my nap, that’s all” But before you two could go any further, normal Leona steps in between the two of you with a glare.

“Let go of her hand” Overblot Leona looks at normal Leona before smirking.

“And if I don’t? What are you going to do about it?” The two continued to have a stare down before you purposely coughed.

“Before you guys fight or anything…can you let go of my hand? Please?” Overblot Leona let's go and you thought that would be it until you felt yourself being thrown over someone’s back and the person started running.

“Hey! Get back here!” Overblot Leona laughs before speeding up.

This was going to be a long week

Leona was annoyed. He couldn’t believe that his OB form would be here for a whole week.

He hated it

The one thing that he doesn’t want to remember is going to be here for a whole week before it goes away. And it annoys him to no end.

When Leona says that his heart dropped out to his ass when he saw his overblot self hug your waist tightly as he fell asleep and you just let it happen. it did.

But seeing how you fed him his lunch or you let him use you as a pillow. Yeah Leona was pissed.

And what pissed him off the most was when you jokingly said that you and his OB self seem to look like bf and gf because of how many times people came up to y'all to ask if you guys were dating.

Yeah he was done. He could feel his eye twitch during the whole conversation as his other self just smirks and pulls you by the waist and proceeds to flirt with you.

So when the week was finally over, Leona felt relieved.

Finally, he won’t have to see any more of his other self being so touchy and close to you.

But that also made him realize how much he didn’t like when others would get too close to you.

So after so much thinking and ruggie just full on teasing Leona and telling him to man up and just confess. He finally makes his way to your dorm.

When you opened the door, you were confused and a little annoyed because of how late it was. All Leona could do was just stand there and look at you.

“If you came here to just stand there and look at me then I’m literally going to kill you” He chuckles before walking right in.

“Eh I wouldn’t mind if it means you’ll be the last thing I’ll see before I die” He says as he winks at you. You stare at him, mouth agape before looking away with a huff. But he could tell that you felt shy.

“What do you want?” you mumble. Still not looking at him. You closed the door as Leona flops down on the couch. He pats the seat next to him and you roll your eyes before taking the offer.

He lays his head down on your lap before sighing as your fingers run through his hair.

“I have something to tell you”

Hate that I still love you

Even after the breakup, you are still madly in love with him. But he has someone else now. He loves her...maybe even more than you.

Small cries could be heard in the room as you tried your very best to not wake up grim. You continued to cry under the covers as you remembered today's events.

You happily walked the halls of pomefiore as you couldn't wait to meet up with your boyfriend, vil.

He's been busy the past few weeks, not only with school but also with modeling and his upcoming new movie. So after weeks of not being able to hang out with each other, you couldn't help but grow excited when he texted you to come over to his dorm.

Finally making it to his room, you knocked and patiently waited for a response.

Hearing a "come in", you excitedly opened the door and walked in to see your lovely boyfriend sitting down on his vanity.

"Hi vil" You said as you closed the door and walked towards him. You sat down on his bed as you looked at him through his vanity mirror. He couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt when he saw you look at him with hearts in your eyes through the mirror.

"Y/n"

"Yes?" He sighs which made you frown.

"Everything alright vil?" He gets up from his chair and turns to face you. You looked up at him and grew confused as he looked away.

"I have something…important to tell you" Your brows furrowed as you waited for him to continue.

"What is it?"

"I don't think this is working out"

"Huh? What do you mean"

You were hoping and praying that what you think was going to come out of his mouth doesn't come out of his mouth as you nervously waited for his answer.

"Us. I don't think I can do this anymore" You felt as if your whole world stopped. You looked at him with glossy eyes as you tried your best not to cry in front of him.

"I- did I do something wrong?" Your voice was shaky and weak. You still couldn't believe what he said.

He stayed quiet for a moment which made your heart ache.

"No, you did nothing wrong. It's just…my life has been getting pretty busy and I think it's for the best..for the both of us" You nodded before getting up from his bed.

"Okay…I hope we can still be friends at least?" He nodded his head and you smiled.

"Alright, well it's getting late so I should go" but before you left you noticed his phone light up by a text notification. Your heart dropped as you saw whose name popped up.

You quickly walked out his room and hurriedly made your way out of pomefiore. You could feel tears slide down your cheeks as you slowly started connecting the dots together.

So those rumors were true…

Rumors have been spreading around the media about vil and his co-star, emi, being spotted together after shooting their upcoming movie together.

Them being spotted at a coffee shop, talking and laughing together. Being spotted at the mall hand in hand and at first you didn't believe it. You trusted vil and you knew he would never do something like that.

But you guess you were wrong…

You continued walking to ramshackles as you silently cried.

You were indeed a stupid fool.

Reaching ramshackles, you quickly wiped your tears and went inside as if nothing happened.

Which now brings you here. Crying pathetically in your bed at 1 in the morning. You quietly got up from bed, making sure you didn't wake grim in the process. You quietly made your way out the room and down the hall.

"Y/n" You stopped and turned around to see one of the ghosts, Otis, looking at you with worry.

"Oh sweet y/n, what happened?" You again felt tears build up as you quickly walked over to him.

"He broke up with me" you sob out as you tried to keep quiet. He gasped and patted your back as you silently cried.

"Oh dear…you don't think the rumors were true do you?" He asked worriedly.

"I-I saw her name! I saw her name pop up on his notification!" All Otis could do was watch as you broke down in the middle of the hall. He tried his best to comfort you as you continued to cry your heart out.

You loved him, you truly did. So why did he do this to you? Was your love not enough?

Maybe you weren't enough. Maybe you didn't try hard enough to be a good girlfriend. Maybe it's your fault this happened.

The next day was hell for you. You spent the whole night crying out to Otis and when you finally stopped, you only had a few hours of sleep.

You sat down on your chair and waited for class to start.

You cursed yourself as you saw how puffy your eyes were when you woke up this morning. You just hoped no one would notice and point it out.

"Holy shit" You looked up only to see ace looking down at you with wide eyes.

"What happened?"

Great. Someone did notice

You ignored him and turned away to look out the window.

"Hey don't ignore me"

"It's nothing"

"Oh no it's something. Why are your eyes so puffy? What happened" you sigh as you try your best to ignore him.

"Please don't ignore me. I want to know what happened that made you cry this bad" You looked down at your lap as you tried to not get emotional.

"I-" but before you could say anything you were interrupted by the teacher coming in and announcing that class had started.

"Don't think I'll forget about this, tell me after class okay?" You just nodded and you both then started paying attention to the class.

Class has ended and students started leaving to go to their next class. Once the last few students have left, Ace then turned to face you.

"Ok now tell me what happened"

"Vil broke up with me"

"What?!" You glared at him and he quickly apologized.

"I'm sorry..but what??! How? Why?"

"Remember those rumors?"

"About vil and that one chick?"

"Mhm" his eyes widened when he finally got what you were saying.

"No way! Did he?"

"Yeah..I didn't want to believe it at first but now that I saw proof…I just..can't believe he would do something like that"

"Hey, look at me" you looked at Ace and he wiped the tears you didn't notice were sliding down your face.

"Don't cry over that bastard, he made a mistake doing something like that to a wonderful person like you. He doesn't deserve your tears..so don't cry, okay?" You nodded and he smiled.

"Alright, let's go to the next class before we're late" You got up and grabbed your stuff before you two walked out.

You knew the others were gonna find out sooner or later about your break up with vil. And when they did, all hell broke loose.

"He what?!" Epel screamed as he looked at you in disbelief.

"Let's not shout epel-"

"No! How would I not shout when I find out my housewarden has been cheating on my best friend?!"

"I-"

"So those rumors were true?"

"I never expected such behavior from pomefiore housewarden!"

"Has he lost his mind?!"

At this point you gave up on trying to keep your friends quiet.

"Please let's just stop talking about this"

"When I see him it's on sight" epel quietly mutters under his breath. Everyone went quiet and looked at you.

"How are you feeling?" Jack says.

"I'm feeling…fine"

"A-are you sure?" Deuce asked worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm fine"

But in reality you weren't.

3 months have passed and you felt like a fool for not moving on. You hate yourself for still loving him. You hate that you think there still might be a chance for the two of you but you know it would never happen.

You gave the phone back to epel and went back upstairs to your room.

In every interview, when the host asks him about his love life, he goes on to say how beautiful and amazing emi is. He never even talked about you like that to anyone if they were to ask.

And so you wonder, did vil ever love you?

We're you so blinded with love that you probably didn't even notice it was one sided?

He barely made an effort in you two relationship but with emi, he does everything he can to be around her more and make her happy.

You have spotted emi a few times at NRC. You see how they both walk to pomefiore dorm together and how he looks at her the same way he used to look at you . How the smile on his face seems more genuine everytime he is with her.

Maybe you really were blind.

Maybe he didn't love you as much as he loves her.

And you hate yourself for still being in love with someone that obviously doesn't love you.

Being a rich man’s wife isn’t always bad. You love ran and how hard working he is and he loves you for how patient and supportive you are of him. But the more he goes out to business trips, the more lonely you feel every day. So ran, as the good husband he is decided to surprise you with his newest android, Mitsuya Takashi.

You and ran have been together for years now. Getting together at 16 and never leaving each others side after that. So it didn’t surprise anyone when the two of you later got engaged at 24 and married at 25. Everyone basically knew that the two of you were meant to be since the start.

He always spent his time with you. Taking you out on dates, taking you shopping and even cooking for you after a long day because he loves the faces you make when you enjoy the meals that he cooks for you.

He was like the perfect husband

But all that stopped when ran took over his father’s company.

As the years passed by, you saw how busy ran was getting.

After his father passed down his company to ran and his brother, ran was barely home. Always at work and never home. And when the times that he is home, he’s always locked away in his office. Working on paperwork and upcoming projects for the company.

You also start noticing how your husband barely gets any sleep because of his busy schedule. And for the years that you have known ran, you know how much ran loves his sleep more than anything.

You often walk in his office to see his tired form slump over his office desk as he sleeps. And when you walk a bit closer, you can see the dark bags under his eyes as you brush your fingers through his hair. A small smile gracing your face as he leans in towards your touch.

So you always feel bad seeing your husband wake up in the early hours of the morning everyday to go back to work.

And it starts making you feel bad for wanting his attention and time.

You might think ran doesn’t notice anything but he does. He sees how sad you look when you bid him goodbye for work but quickly covering it up with a smile and a kiss to his lips.

And ran feels awful

He feels like he isn’t being a good husband to you. Always spending more time in the office rather than your own home. Him barely being able to see you and spend time with you. And he knows the house can get lonely without him by your side.

So what does ran do? He starts making up a plan.

He worked on this project for MONTHS before surprising you with it.

You groan as you hear your alarm go off. You lazily turn it off before sitting up and looking at the spot next to you.

Again…he’s gone off to work

You sigh before getting up and deciding to get ready for the day.

The moment you stepped out of the bathroom, you could smell a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. Confused, you quietly walked out of you and ran shared bedroom and all the way down to the kitchen.

When you walked in the kitchen, you see a tall black short haired man who’s back was facing you. Terrified, you quickly took a couple steps back before bumping into somebody which caused you to let out a loud terrified scream.

“Hey relax it’s me!” You quickly turned around to see your husband.

“You okay? You seem a bit shaken up”

“R-ran there’s a m-man-“ But before you could finish your sentence, an unfamiliar voice interrupts you.

“Have I scared you Mrs.Haitani? I sincerely apologize for frightening you this early in the morning”

You quickly turn around to see the man from earlier. He was tall, had short black hair and lavender liked eyes.

Who is this man and why is he in your house?

“R-ran who is this?” You say. You turn to face your husband who just gave you a sheepish smile.

“Didn’t mean to scare you. But uh me and mitsuya over here wanted to surprise you with a nice breakfast before introducing you to him”

“Mitsuya?”

“Here, come sit down first” You took a seat and suspiciously eyed the strange man who was standing in the middle of your kitchen aisle.

“Y/n dear, this is mitsuya takashi. My newest android” He says proudly. Your eyes widen in shock as you took a good look at mitsuya.

“Huh? H-he’s an android?”

“Mhm” Again, you looked at mitsuya before looking back at ran.

“Why is he here? If he’s your newest android then shouldn’t he be in the lab right now?”

“About that. He’s the only model I have because I made him specifically for you”

“For me? Why?” You were confused. Ran sighs before taking a seat next to you.

“I know I haven’t been a good husband to you over the years. Always at work and never home to spend time with you or care for you.”

“And I know the house can get a bit lonely when it’s just you and no one else. So I decided to do something about it”

“By making…him?” You say as you point at mitsuya.

“Yes”

“Do you think I’m a loner?” You ask with a raised brow.

“What? No!” He says. Panicked almost. You stare at him for a bit before laughing. You found it cute how scared your husband was about offending you.

“Don’t worry ran…I think it’s sweet, but also a bit weird. You know I have real friends right?”

“I know that! But I also made him so that he can help you around the house! Since I’m not always home to help you with chores…” You giggle before pulling your husband into a passionate kiss.

But then you remembered that you two aren’t the only ones in the room and so you quickly pulled away. Much to your husband dismay.

“Am I interrupting something? I can leave if you two-“

“No! No uh it’s nothing you can stay” He smiles before placing a plate in front of you.

“Your breakfast Mrs.Haitani”

“Oh! Thank you” Your mouth waters at the sight of the delicious food. Without missing a beat, you quickly took a bite of the food. You looked up at mitsuya with wide eyes.

“Did you make this?”

“I have. Is it not to your liking?” He asks. Worried about you not liking it.

“This is amazing!” You say as you continue to stuff your face. Ran chuckles before standing up and checking his watch. He sighs as he notices the time.

“What’s wrong ran?”

He stays silent before looking at you with an apologetic look.

“I have to go to work. I’m already late by an hour so it’s best that I get going now” And there goes your excitement.

“Oh…” Ran notices the change of mood and moves you to look at him.

“Y/n I-“

“Ran”

“Yes?”

“Just go. You’re already late, and there’s no need to apologize”

“But-“

“Please…just go” He looks at you for a bit before leaning and kissing your cheek.

“Take care. And mitsuya”

“Yes Mr. Haitani”

“Please take care of my wife”

“Of course”

Months have passed since ran introduce you to mitsuya.

And at first it did take you a week or two to get used to the lavender eyed boy. But after seeing how nice and polite he was, you grew comfortable having him around.

And mitsuya is great!

He helps you with buying and putting away groceries, cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, and even helps you with taking care of your garden outside!

He also accompanies you to stores or errand runs which actually turn out to be fun when he’s around. He helps you with carrying and putting away groceries, buying new cleaning supplies, and even helps you with what to cook for the evening.

You also noticed how the android has an eye for fashion. You can see him taking glances at the tv when your favorite fashion show is on and see how he stares in awe when seeing all the beautiful clothing pieces.

You caught him doodling more than once on pieces of paper when you make him take breaks from doing chores. (Even though he’s a android and can’t get tired, you still feel bad and make him sit down and relax for a bit)

You remember the first time you caught him. You were in the kitchen while he was in the living room. You were making some snacks for the movie night that the two of you were about to have while mitsuya was “looking” for a movie.

Instead. You walk in the living room only to see him sketching something on a piece of paper. You gasp once you saw what he was doing. The sketch was beautiful! The design, pattern, and details were just perfect! You complemented mitsuya on his work as you continued gushing about how beautiful it is and that’s it’s something you’ll definitely wear.

And so the next day you decided to buy him a sketch book. You remember the look of shock on his face as you happily gave him the book and told him that if he were to ever run out of space, then he should come and tell you so you can buy another one for him.

That was also the day that you learned that androids can blush and get shy!

Wow! Ran must’ve really went all out!

The more time both you and mitsuya spend together. The more closer you guys grew. You started seeing mitsuya more like a close friend than a servant. But unbeknownst to you, he didn’t see you as a friend at all.

In fact, mitsuya started seeing you as more like a romantic interest.

Everyone knows androids can’t feel emotions. Hell even mitsuya knows that! So, why did he suddenly start having this weird feeling whenever you were near him?

When he wakes you up for breakfast, when he helps you clean, when he goes out with you to get groceries or to just hang out.

He always gets this weird feeling in his chest that he can’t quite get rid of.

Was he broken?

Maybe that it!

He doesn’t have any emotions. He was never programmed to feel anything. Only to serve and make his creators wife happy.

He’s not the one helping you clean and do the laundry when you notice that the house is starting to look messy and that you need your clothes.

He’s not the one helping you take care of your plants or even PLANT new plants with you as you both giggle and play around by throwing dirt at each other.

But he is!

He’s the one who does all that with you! Not ran! Not the man who’s SUPPOSED to be your husband!

It was midnight and ran was still not home. You sat patiently on the couch waiting for your dear husband to come home. You were hoping that he would come home early today.

“Today is our 5th year anniversary. And I thought he remembered and would come home early today to celebrate it with me. But I guess that won’t happen” He stays quiet as you continue to silently cry next to him.

“What do you guys usually do? When it’s your anniversary I mean”

“Oh well…. we either cook something together and just spend time together at home or he plans a dinner reservation weeks before our anniversary and takes me out to eat and later ends up with him taking me shopping”

“And that’s all?” You could feel his eyes on you. Your face heats up knowing that’s not the only thing the two of you do.

“Um…yeah that’s all”

“Mm” Mitsuya could tell you were lying by how you tried to avoid making eye contact with him and also by your body language.

But mitsuya wasn’t stupid. He knows what else you and ran do after having a nice meal together or a fun night out.

Besides. He’s heard everything that goes on in your guys bedroom when ran is home and just wants to spend all his time with his lovely wife.

“Then how about I cook you a meal for your special day?”

“Huh?”

“If you’ll like, I’ll cook you an extraordinarily meal for you or even the two of us and spend the night with you”

“Oh mitsuya! You don’t have to-“

“But I’ll love to. Besides, it’s my duty to make you happy”

The way he said that sentence gave you chills. You looked at mitsuya before slowly nodding which makes the man android smile.

“Very well then”

He helps you get up and wipes away your tears with his thumb.

“Don’t cry. He doesn’t deserve your tears”

Is what he wanted to say. But he didn’t.

“Just sit and watch me do all the cooking. And then we can both enjoy the meal together”

“O-okay”

The two of you chatted as he cooked. You would laugh every now and then when he would crack a few jokes and sometimes you would stop and admire him as he prepared you your meal.

You have already forgotten the reason why you were crying in the first place with mitsuya by your side.

The next day

You woke up by the delicious smell of food coming from the kitchen. You smiled knowing that it was most likely mitsuya preparing your breakfast. You quickly got up and rushed to the bathroom to brush your teeth and get ready for the day.

You happily walked down the halls to the kitchen as you couldn’t wait what Mitsuya decided to make you this time. By the time you got to the kitchen, you excitedly called out the androids name.

“Good morning mitsuyaaa….” You stopped dead in your tracks once you noticed that it wasn’t mitsuya making breakfast.

“Ran?” He turns around and smiles once he sees you.

“Y/n. Good morning sweets, I’m making breakfast for the two of us”

“I-I see…umm...where is mitsuya?”

“Mitsuya? Oh he’s in my office. I turned him off because you won’t need him this week”

“What? Why?” He turns off the stove and neatly prepares your plate as he motions you to sit down.

“Because I won’t have work this whole week. Meaning that I’ll be home all week and will be able to spend time with you”

“Oh” He frowns when he hears your tone.

“Are you not happy?”

“Oh…um I am! I am….but it’s just that I’m so used to having takashi around and so not being able to see him all week just feels…weird”

“Mmm”

“But I’m glad you’re finally taking a break from work!”

“Yes?”

“About last night” You looked down as you knew what he was about to say.

“I’m so sorry love. It’s just-“

“I know I know. You were busy….like always” It hurt his heart seeing you like this. He pulls a chair next to you and sits down.

“I just want you to listen to me, please” You stayed silent.

“I was planning on leaving work early yesterday but a sudden emergency happened and I had to stay the night in the office”

“But please believe me when I say that I wanted to leave early. Because I truly did! I had everything planned out for the two of us last night but-“

“The foods gonna get cold…” He stays silent before getting up.

The first few days of the week, you notice how ran would cuddle you in bed before getting up to go make breakfast. Riddle will not tolerate such behavior and disrespect. Especially from a child!

Will take some time for him to warm up to you.

You wanted to make riddle happy so you spent a whole month learning the 810 rules of the Queen of hearts to make him happy.

You were born with a gift. The gift to be able to see the future. You would always have small or big glimpses of the future every now and then. And the visions are usually never something bad, until now…

Malleus draconia x fem!reader

Angst

You never found your gift to be horrible. You always thought that it was pretty cool and amazing, being able to see little glimpses of the future. You found it to be very fascinating rather than scary.

And for the most part, your visions were never bad. You never saw anything that made you scared or uneasy, well besides the few times when you had a few visions that made you confused and or a little scared BUT it was all good in the end!

But today. You never expected to get a vision like you did today.

You were in your room, humming and packing some clothes for your small trip to Malleus palace. You're really excited to see malleus and the others again after so long. Ever since they received your text about you visiting them they have been counting down the days of your arrival.

You giggle at the memory of silver sending you a picture of Lilia marking down each day until your arrival at the palace.

“Y/n dear! Are you ready?” Your mom asks. You quickly packed the last of your clothing before closing your suitcase.

“Yes mom, I'm ready!” Your door opens to reveal your mother and a guard standing behind her.

“Ah! My beautiful daughter! I can’t believe you’ll be gone for a whole week!” She says as she pulls you into a tight hug.

“It’s only a week! Then I’ll be back until my next visit” You say with a smile. You and your mother talked for a bit until your father came into the room and told you that everything is ready for your trip to the palace.

“Bye my pretty girl! And be careful!”

“Be safe! And you already know what to do if anything bad happens!” You waved at both of your parents before getting in the carriage.

It wasn’t long until you finally arrived. You looked out and saw malleus and the others waiting excitedly for you.

“Ah it’s a pleasure seeing you again lady y/n!” Lilia says as he helps you step out of the carriage.

“It’s great to see you all again! I missed you all”

“Allow me to help with your luggage!” Sebek then immediately grabbed all three of your luggage as you began to panic.

“Oh no no no! I can’t possibly have you carry all that! I can help-“

“No, I'll do it! So please allow me”

“But-“

“Sebek is a strong boy. He’ll be fine” Silver reassures you. You just nod but not before asking Sebek if he needed help once again. But he only replies with a “I’m fine!” Before you let him carry all your luggage inside the palace.

“Thank you so much sebek. You really didn’t have to carry all my luggage up here”

“It’s no problem! I am a knight and it’s my duty to serve my master and any other royals!” You smiled before giving sebek a small kiss on the check.

“I appreciate your help, thank you” The boy was left speechless. A shade of dark red adoring his cheeks.

“I-it’s no problem! I-I’ll go now!” And he left. You giggle at his shyness. You decided to unpack before doing anything else. It didn’t take long before you had everything unpacked and the moment you sat down on your bed you heard a knock at the door.

“Come in” The door then opens to reveal malleus. You smile once you see your childhood friend.

“Mal!” Malleus smiles at you before pulling you into a hug.

“It’s nice to see you again child of man”

“How have you been mal? Have you been doing good? Eating good?” Malleus could feel his cheeks heat up as you continue to ask him more questions.

“I’m doing quite well. But I’ll also ask you the same thing, have you been taking care of yourself too?”

“Of course I have! I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t” You joked. Malleus just smiles before handing you some chocolate.

“I bought your favorite” You could feel your heart beat increase as he handed you the chocolate.

“Oh sevens! You shouldn’t have! Now I feel bad that I didn’t get you anything!” He chuckles at your worried expression.

“Don’t panic. But I would love it if you would accompany me on a walk around the palace garden” He asks and who were you to say no to someone like malleus?

“I’d love to”

The two of you walked around the garden as you talked about old memories from when the two of you were young and other funny embarrassing ones.

“Haha! I remember that! I still can’t forget the look on Lilias face” As you laughed, you didn’t notice the literal heart eyes in malleus eyes as he watched you laugh.

“Ohh my stomach now hurts from all that laughing!” He smiles before stopping and crouching down next to a rose bush.

“Oh? What are you doing mal?” You ask curiously. Malleus doesn’t respond and you can see him carefully getting a beautiful red rose from the bush before standing back to his full height. He turns around and you see a beautiful rose in his hand.

“For you” You were taken aback before heat rushes up your neck.

“For me?”

“Mhm” You carefully grabbed the rose from his hands before smiling.

“Ah I didn’t know you missed me that much!” You teased as he started to turn red. But you wouldn’t lie that you weren’t screaming inside by malleus sweet (or romantic) gesture.

Could this mean malleus also likes you back?

But soon the excitement went away when you felt a throbbing pain in your head.

A vision

It’s you. You wore a beautiful traditional briar valley wedding dress along with malleus who was also wearing a traditional briar valley suit.

It’s a wedding-YOUR wedding. You can see the excited smile on both you and malleus faces as family and friends congratulated you both.

“Congratulations to the two of you!”

“You look stunning as always lady- or should I say Mrs draconia” Lilia teases as you feel your face heat up.

“Congratulations waka-sama!” Sebek cries as silver just sighs before congratulating you with a smile.

You saw how malleus looked at you with heart eyes as he pulled you closer to him and gave you a kiss.

Then your vision changes and you can see yourself carrying what seems to be a baby. You were sitting in you and malleus shared bedroom and you cooed at the small bundle of joy as malleus sat next to you. A huge smile on his face.

“He looks just like you” You tell him.

“He has your eyes” Malleus tells you. You were both in awe as the little one opened his eyes before crying.

“He’s hungry”

It was so cute. So wholesome. So it definitely didn’t prepare you for what you were about to see next.

What you saw next was absolutely horrific. You could see yourself laying in your husband’s arms all bloody.

You looked…dead

You were dead

You were dead in your husband's arms as his cries of agony rang through the palace walls.

“No please! My wife! Not my wife!”

“Please wake up y/n! Please don’t leave me” He cries as he holds your body close. And then you suddenly hear your baby’s cries. You quickly turned around to see a horrified sebek gently holding your baby as his eyes widened at the sight in front of him. You could see that he was trembling a bit. But he was trying so hard to keep calm and calm down your crying baby.

You then turned around to see briar valley knights fighting. They were fighting what seemed to be other knights from a different kingdom. You could see silver and Lilia. They had some wounds but you could see how they hadn’t given up on fighting. Making sure those unknown knights didn’t get close to you, malleus or your baby.

You could hear bodies drop to the floor and blood splattering. Screams and shouts and also the sound of swords hitting against each other.

It was a mess. A horrifying mess. So bloody and gory you could almost throw up.

The vision soon stops and you gasp once it does, dropping the rose in the process. Malleus looks at you worriedly. You were shaking! You looked scared and that really worried him.

“Y/n are you-“

“I-I have to go” But before he could even finish his sentence you ran away. Malleus watches with wide eyes as you run away from him.

You locked yourself in your room after that. Not wanting to see anyone, especially malleus. You curled up on your bed as you tried your hardest to forget what you saw in your vision.

You were happy that in your vision you and malleus got together and married each other and had a baby but then seeing you dead in his arms as his and your baby’s cries filled the palace walls and also the bloody scene that you saw. It was to much!

You can’t let that happen. You can’t! The pain in malleus voice….it broke your heart hearing him like that.

If that’s what happens to you and malleus in the future. Then it’s best that you separate ways from each other.

You can’t let anything bad happen to malleus. You just can’t. Even if you love malleus with all your heart you don’t want to see him in pain.

“I guess it’s best to stay away….”

TIME SKIP EMMA AND DRAKEN FROM THE FINAL ARC!!

Yandere Draken and Emma who were enjoying a nice date together before being rudely interrupted by fishing nets being thrown at them by a boat that the both didn’t know was even there.

Yandere Draken and Emma who then were held captive and soon later thrown into a large tank big enough for them both to swim around and hide when the strange humans with white cloaks and a clipboard would come by and stare at them before quickly writing down something on their clipboard.

Yandere Draken and Emma who hated how the humans would treat them. Taking either one away from each other to run tests or experiments whenever they felt like it. How some humans didn’t even bother to be gentle with them when handling them. They hated every single second with these weird humans.

Yandere Draken who would comfort yandere Emma who would cry and whine about how much she misses her home. Her friends and family. How these mean humans scare her and that she wants to leave. All Draken could do is stroke his fingers through her hair and whisper sweet nothings into her ear.

Yandere Draken who would protect Emma from the humans when they would try to take her away from him. He would hiss and show his razor sharp teeth to try to scare those humans away. His arm wrapped tightly around her waist as he drags her down to there little home that they made.

Yandere Draken and Emma who soon later got use to their new life. They now know when they were going to be fed, when they are going to be taken away for test, experiments, etc. They also now know some of the humans names. They don’t really like the man with blonde hair and glasses. He’s super harsh towards them, especially towards Emma.

Yandere Draken and Emma who were doing what they usually do on a boring day. Play around. The two chased each other around in their large tank, not paying any mind to anyone outside. As the both of them messed around, you watched with a small smile at the two merfolk who seemed to be having a fun time with each other. Your boss assigned you to the both of them. Claiming that you we’re finally ready to work and be assigned to merfolk’s.

You of course, was thrilled to work with these two merfolk. You heard a lot about them by some of the workers here. How close and protective they are of each other. How strong and fast they are. And not to mention how good looking the two of them are.

When the two finally decided to take rest after hours of playing around, they finally notice you sitting down on a chair with a book in hand. Emma was the first one to swim a bit closer to you, trying to see what you look like since she’s never seen you before.

The moment you finally decided to look up, you were met with honey eyes looking straight at you. You flinched a bit before breaking out into a smile and waving at the mermaid. She backs up quickly. Not expecting you to wave let alone smile at her! It took her a minute, before waving back timidly. Draken swims up to the two of you. Growing curious about the new human.

“Draken! Look isn’t she pretty!” Emma excitedly tells him. He looks at Emma before looking at you and nodding.

“She is”

“She waved at me! Waved! And also smiled! No one has ever been that nice when they first encounter us!” Draken smiles as he listens to Emma ramble about how you were about to become her favorite new human already.

Your face grew confused as the two talk. Not being able to understand because of the thick glass.

Once she finished talking to the merman, she turns around to face you and has her hands pressed up against the glass before excitedly talking to you.

Unfortunately you weren’t able to hear anything because of the glass. You could see that the merman also knew that as he chuckles at the rambling mermaid.

A month has passed since the three of you met. And I got to say, the two merfolks really like you a lot. They like how kind and gentle you are. How you glare or snap at your coworkers who make fun of or treat them like shit.

Emma liked how you gave her extra food than she needed when no one was looking. She liked how you would softly brush her hair and braid it with some nice pearls and shells that you would bring.

She felt like she was back home every time you would bring back something from the beach.

You would also reassure draken that emma would be okay when they would take her away. Telling him that you wouldn’t let any of them hurt her in any way. And he was grateful for that. Even though there was a language barrier between you three, he still understood the gestures and the tone of your voice when reassuring him.

You would make sure that he was alright and that he felt well. You would always make sure that their water was good and clean because some of your coworkers could care less about their living environment.

You always took such great care of them.

Which lead the both of them start growing some very questionable feelings for you.

It started off slow. Emma being a little more clingy then usual. Her trying to get you to stay with them a little more longer when you had mountains of work to do. Her pouting and glaring at anyone who would get to close to you for her liking.

And then there’s Draken. He started being a little more protective of you. Making sure that you have eaten and that no one was hurting or bothering you. He would sometimes hiss and show off his razor sharp teeth at anyone who he thinks is a threat when they would get close to you.

You at first didn’t really mind until their behavior towards you and your coworkers started growing a little more concerning.

It then started getting worse. They would both claw and bite at anyone who would even be close or even TOUCH you. You could be sitting near the tank, hand in the water trying to make sure it’s the right temperature for them and a coworker or friend of yours could come by and check up on you to see if everything is going alright and even pat you on the shoulder before Draken immediately comes up from the water and scratches off that person’s hand off you.

Or you could be braiding emma’s hair like usual during your lunch break and as she lets out soft sighs as she enjoys the feeling of your hands running through her hair before immediately glaring and hissing at your poor friend who just wanted to ask what you wanted for lunch.

You started growing concern.

So you decided to distance yourself a bit from them for the time being. Maybe they’ll go back to normal after not seeing or interacting with you for a few days. Right?

Wrong

Absolutely wrong

The moment you didn’t show up to work the next day, all hell broke lose.

The both of them would absolutely REFUSE to let anyone other than you near them. They would claw, bite and scratch anyone who dares to touch either one of them. Refusing to do anything unless YOU are the one to do it.

The workers can see through the glass tank and cameras how the two merfolks desperately look around for you. They can hear them let out loud clicks and chirps of desperation and distress as they look everywhere for you.

And if their ears weren’t failing them. They swear they hear the words “mate”coming from the two merfolks.

They seemed to turn more aggressive the longer you were gone. It gotten so bad to the point that your boss calls you and pleads you to come back. That they have gotten very out of control and that your the only one who can help and calm them down.

You got so many calls that you decided that it was time to go back after a VERY short break.

You came back the next day. The sounds of your heels clicking through the halls was enough to let everyone let out a sigh of relief. Happy that your back to take care of your “mates”.

You raised a brow when someone told you that. Confused, because what do they mean by “mates”?

You walk up to your boss who looks rather relieved that your back.

He quickly tells you that he’s happy to have you back before rushing you to emma and draken.

“T-they seem to not be doing so well! Please just go in and calm down your pets”

“They’re not pets!-“ And he shoves you into the room. You huff before walking near the railing where it’s close to the top of the tank. You walk down the little stairs before kneeling down and calling out their names.

“Emma? Draken? I’m here! I heard that you guys miss me!” But nothing. You stayed there for a few minutes before getting up and preparing to leave. But before you could walk away up the stairs, you felt a hand grab your ankle and pull you into the water. You let out a yelp before being met with the cold water.

You thrash around trying to get back up to the surface to breathe but the strong arms around your waist prevented you from doing so. You then felt a delicate pair of hands cup your cheeks before you felt someone’s lips touch your own. After they pulled away, you were able to breathe.

You gasp when you noticed that it was Emma. She looked delighted to see you again. You could hear her let out some clicks and chirps.

She was talking to you

Unfortunately, you couldn’t understand. The male behind you who you now know was Draken told her something before she looks at you sheepishly.

She then proceeds to say a word that made your eyes almost pop out of your sockets.

“You are mate”

What the fuck?!

Uhh I started writing this after remembering about a dream I had a few months ago about being taken and captured by mermaid emma and merman Draken🌝 THEY DID NOT LET ME GO😭
