16. "I'm not one to share what is mine."

What was with Malleus lately? He was usually cagey and stand-offish, but now he was also extra moody about it. Everywhere you went he would either hiss or growl at any student that approached you. It was attractive at first, now you're simply worried about him.

You didn't know how to bring up the topic either. It would seem a little rude to ask him why he was being so possessive lately. And possessiveness was what it was, that much was confirmed when Jade and Leech tried to flirt with you to get on Malleus's nerves and the second they left he pinned you against a tree, kissed you until your lips were bruised and was then back to normal.

So asking him was a no go. Plan B then, you needed to test your theory. What better way to do then to invite him to the weekend party.

"Me? Attending a party? That doesn't seem like the best idea." Malleus was ready to say no, he always said no to any party that wasn't mandatory.

"You're the one who said you were misunderstood by everyone. I know what a sweet guy you can be Malleus, I want everyone else to know it too. And, is it that wrong that I want to party with my boyfriend? You could dance circles around anyone there." You tried to cheer him up, to boost his confidence that was there when he was with you but in a large group was so minuscule he was hardly the same person anymore.

And you knew why, "Yes because there would be no one else dancing."

"I would be. So what if have the dance floor all to ourselves, it just mean everyone else will be the envious of us." And Malleus and you would finally get to show off your relationship. "Look, we can go there dance a couple of dances and if it doesn't work out we'll leave. Deal?"

Malleus leaned back against his couch, his eyes landing on the picture of the two of you hanging on his wall. "Only because you asked."

As you predicted Malleus was indeed the best dancer there, pride of his Dorm, and the envy of many others. "Are you having fun?" You asked, your faces close so you could hear each other over the loud music. You weren't alone on the dance floor like Malleus thought you'd be, there were quite a few other couples and larger groups of people dancing all around you.

You weren't in the spotlight. "Somewhat." He smiled despite the lukewarm response.

"Mind if I have a turn with the pretty lady?" Malleus's eyes shifted to the side where he saw Floyd offering his hand to you. "You've been monopolizing her all night. It's hardly fair, Draconia." His lopsided smile was hard to read. Was he serious or was he just trying to get under Malleus's skin?

"Floyd..." He was a good friend of yours but at times he went too far with his teasing. Judging by how tense Malleus got the moment he was him this was one of those times. "Thanks for the offer but-"

"She's here with me." Malleus stepped in front of you, one hand clenching at his side, the other holding your hand, both of them getting hotter. "I'm not one to share what is mine. You know this, Leech." Floyd wasn't at all fazed by Malleus growling in his face, one of the rare people who could do something like that when faced with his wrath.

"Possessive one aren't you? I was only offering. The offer still stands by the way." Floyd looked past Malleus's arm and winked at you, laughing away as Malleus steeped towards him.

You pulled him back, deciding you've seen all that you needed. "Thanks Floyd but I think I'll take Malleus back to his dorm."

"Oh! A private afterparty, I see, of course, of course." It was as if the earlier hostility was gone, Floyd smacked Malleus's back causing a little green flame to evaporate from his mouth, "Take good care of my bestie."

You weren't besties but correcting him wasn't what was important right now. Getting to the bottom of this Malleus mystery was. Like for the past few days Malleus glared daggers at anyone you walked by, his body tense with... something. He didn't say a word to you on the way back either, he kept his eyes looking forward.

"What are you talking about?" Huh? Was he joking? No, Malleus never joked.

"This possessiveness and jealousy thing you've been doing Mal!" It was funny and charming at first but now it was becoming odd.

"I've... been doing that? For weeks you say?" Malleus tapped his fingers on his chin. The silence hung thick around you. Was he stalling? Looking for an excuse? "I didn't notice." Didn't he really?! "I should have figured, but I didn't think it would happen after only one time."

"What?"

"A few weeks ago is when we first... slept together remember? I think I may have imprinted on you." He hid his face in his hands, the pointy tips of his ears burning red. "I apologize. I didn't think it would happen that early."

Not to the extent I have been but you should expect it on occasion. There are ways to break the bond if it makes you uncomfortable. It's just that, when you said you'll be mine my instincts took over without me even realizing it." You remembered that, you also remembered the sting of pain and overwhelming pleasure that followed it.

"I don't want to break up with you Mal, I was worried about you. You weren't acting like yourself at all." You cupped his cheeks, rubbing your thumbs below his eyes. "I'm glad you told me. I have this theory that Prince Levan and Yuu are similar.

Don't you think their traits so far matches? Kind, patient, able to traverse through adversities (for now its just raging Draconias lol), aspires to resolve conflicts between oppositions, doesn't possess any bias (maybe because they prefer peaceful options).

There is also a scene that matched well with what we know of Prince Levan with Yuu --

• Prince Levan dealing with Malenoa's tantrum safely -> Yuu telling Malleus to calm down and Malleus actually listening (during their trip kn GloMas)

• Prince Levan manages the foreign affairs of Land of Briar, he is negotiating to stop ravaging their land -> Yuu is assigned as the Prefect of NRC, they deal with the trouble ensuing in every dorm and striving to make its members work together.

• Prince Levan is Malenoa's informant and seems to be on the frontlines while Malenoa's the strategist -> Yuu is always tasked as the record keepers or watcher of events (even in main story) by Crowley, and sometimes if there's actual trouble, Yuu tells Crowley about it, providing Crowley some stand-in in dealing with NRC troubles rather than himself.

• If we assume that all Draconias are similar, perhaps its safe to assume that Malenoa was also interested with Levan because he treated her normally (because like Malleus she was also revered too much and didnt experience much normality).

It mirrors similarly to the dynamic of Malleus and Yuu in the present, how Yuu is not afraid of him and in turn, makes Malleus feel like a normal person.

• Lilia mentions him, Malenoa, and Levan are childhood friends. So, it means that Levan and Malenoa probably met when they were children. Malleus is only 178 out of 1000 years adult age, Lilia stated him as a child. Plus, if we refer to the past ages of official Yuu's (Yuuken and Yuuka are 17), they are children -growing up as well. (At least I think so-- 17 is really young for me lol) Anyways, we see that Malleus and Yuu got to know each other in their developing years or something--

• This is kind of a theory but Levan and Yuu have the traits of a beasttamer- Lilia states that Draconias are montrous (but they're still faes.) Yuu was dubbed as beasttamer by Crowley because of how they took care of Grim. Grim is a monster. And, both Yuu and Levan, like stated before, deals with "their monster's rages."

• Both Malleus and Malenoa seems to get attracted by Levan and Yuu because of their compassion to them. (Malenoa views Levan as "he's the only one she can depend on" and he cooked for her so we can believe that Levan was kind to Malenoa.) In contrast, Draconias are always seen as "ruthless villains" "cruel" and "terrifying."

• As the game repeatedly tells us, Draconias exceeds so much from the average. They are seemingly evil, powerful and ruthless to people, even when Malleus was raised by Lilia to be "a gentle fairy" he struggles still. And, because of the normality/kindness of Yuu and Levan, that they are most interesting to Draconias. Since all those traits (being normal) are essentially their unknown and the impossible---

• I think Draconias are also fascinated by the "weakness" and braveness of Yuu/Levan. (Levan was pitiful during the time where he, Lilia and Malenoa got lost while Malenoa just had a fun time out of it). Malleus teases Yuu about is he scary now since we always seem fearless to him- I wonder if Malenoa treated Levan this way as well... (because all Draconias seems to have same personalities lol i.e Malenoa has a habit of being talkative at unusual hours too much like how Malleus visits us to talk in the night)

• This is a reach, but Levan didn't get any silouette despite the fact he was explained many times by Lilia, just like how Yuu never gets revealed in game.

• The fact that Levan seems to be referenced from the two events: Glorious Masquerade and Halloween. These events have involved Yuu importantly instead of them just being on the sidelines-

Glorious Masquerade because it seems like he's Diablo-inspired and Malleus' outfit in that event has feathers of a raven. And, the fact Levan's Name is spelled like Raven. Plus, his outfit was designed to resemble royalty Briar Valley clothing and Levan IS a Briar Valley royalty (the princess' husband.)

Halloween Event because of Levan's title containing Long/Dragon Prince Levan. Malleus' Halloween costume was a Long/Chinese Dragon. Plus, the event highlighted the difference between Western and Eastern Dragon when Malleus info-dumped Vil about it so it holds significance that Eastern Dragons exists.

• There's also this parallel of Levan and Yuu being the one who goes and never returns. It seems that Malenoa sent Levan as her messenger to the Silver Owls to stop ravaging their land-- and now she is searching for him since he hasn't returned. Maybe we can assume Malenoa is regretting it because Levan's abscene is alarming that she is sending Lilia to find him. I think the act of "sending away" can be related to how Malleus accepted immediately that we're leaving to go back home despite his fear of losing us.

In conclusion, Malleyuu is generational OR In every Draconia heir there is a Yuu for them in the Yuuniverse population😂🐉🦐

Also, correct me if any of the info mentioned are amiss 😭 sometimes my mind just rolls and makes stuff up and I'm convinced it was real LOL

Finally dressed,you dare to properly meet eyes with Malleus. Ready to explain yourself properly.

"Now,I owe you an explanation." The boy takes a few seconds to take in your new appearance,his clothes looking quite nice on you.

You sigh,maybe the best thing to do is just show him,but then when you'll turn back you'll be naked again. Ugh...this is a curse.

"What if I just show you instead?" This was more a question towards yourself rather than for him,even so,Malleus nods. Carefully watching you as you back away.

You take a deep breath in,and there it is. The clothes you just borrowed from the tall male in a pile on the ground.

His brows furrow, was this a trick? Did you wish to play a prank on him?

He doesn't get to drown to deep in his thoughts,the sudden movement in the pile of clothes draws his attention.

The boy slightly bends down, trying to get a glimpse of whatever might be there. And out of the clothes,a crow emerges, a black feathered beautiful crow.

Not just any Crow,but you.

Now it's clear,why you were so familiar in the boys eyes.

Even so,the realization hits him hard, especially when you take your designed place on his shoulder.

Malleus's eyes link with the bird's,your eyes."It's...you?" Voice questionable,you knew he wouldn't have an extreme reaction. The time spent with him taught you that.

From your beak, the ring lays securely gripped. The fae's hand extends, allowing you to drop it in,only for a few seconds. The metal burning his porcelain hands. The ring quickly lands on the table, remaining as nothing more than a gift,and a decoration to his dark room.

Once the shock wears off, he smiles. That warm beautiful smile that warmed your heart every time you saw it.

Why hate me

You, a young fae has been promised to marry malleus since a young age. But how is everything going to work out between the two of you if he hates you? And what if he says something that would completely ruin the last bit of hope you have for him.

You sat quietly by the window as you took a sip of your tea. Humming a small tune that your caretaker used to hum to you. As you sat by the window, you could feel your heart ache at the thought of your fiance.

The two of you have been promised to marry each other since you were young. You always loved malleus ever since you were a little girl.

But malleus on the other hand didn't like you very much. You never knew why he didn't like you. You never did anything bad to him or anything so you were always confused as to why he hated you.

But even if he didn't like you, that definitely didn't stop you from being nice to him. You would always ask him to come play with you or take a stroll around the palace garden but he would always decline.

But that didn't stop little old you. You made a promise to yourself to make malleus like you, even if it wasn't romantically you still wouldn't care as long as he feels comfortable around you.

But as you both grew older, the more you started to believe that he might never like you. He would grow annoyed with you when you would check up on him or try to convince him to go walk in the palace garden with you.

He would ignore your every attempt to make him like you.

And the thing he hated the most was when you first visited NRC.

You decided to pay a visit to NRC and to see how malleus was doing, but the moment you step foot in diasomnia malleus was quick to escort you out the dorm.

Of course you felt sad but you didn’t want to make him hate you even more so you decided to respect his wish.

Your thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock at the door.

You put your tea cup down and turn to see no other than lilia.

By now, everyone knows that you were visiting and everyone was really excited, even people that weren’t from diasomnia.

And of course, since everyone on campus is talking about your arrival, it certainly reached the ears of a certain someone.

He just scoffed

“Come on, she might be here by now”

Ignoring her question, malleus just pulls her towards diasomnia direction.

Stepping foot into diasomnia, you felt a wave of anxiety starting to creep up as your eyes looked everywhere for a certain dragon.

But before he could continue, the doors flew open and you started preparing yourself for what to come.

“Y/n!” You quickly turn around to see silver and sebek. You felt a wave of relief go through you and you offered them a small smile.

“Ah if it isn’t silver and sebek! It’s great to see the two of you”

“It’s great to see you again!”

“Why haven’t you come visit us sooner?”

“Ah well I have been busy with some stuff back at the castle”

“Well it’s good to see that you took a break!”

Before the two could talk any further, the door was slammed open and you turn to see malleus and a girl at the door.

“She came to visit us of course! C’mon be more happy about seeing your fiancée malleus!” You saw him stiffen up and you lowered your head down so as to not make any eye contact with him.

You look up to see a girl standing next to him.

As she looked your way you gave her a small smile and quietly chuckled when she turned red and looked away.

“Yes..um well if you excuse me I have to go do something”

“Dinner will be ready in a few hours!” Lilia tells him as malleus walks away.

You felt like breaking down right then and there. You just wanted to know why malleus hates you so much.

“Boys go help her unpack”

You looked at them for a second before nodding your head.

They smile and lift up your bags as they escorted you to your room.

"Mhm" He decided not to say anything else after that, but you knew that he didn't completely believe it.

You three then made your way out the room and downstairs. You were a little nervous to see malleus but you calmed yourself the moment you noticed that you were getting closer to the dining area.

"Oh you three made it just on time! Come! Dinner is ready” you stared in awe as you saw all the amazing and wonderful food that was on the table. Especially when you saw your favorite.

“Where malleus?” Akane asks, you looked around and you saw that he was nowhere in sight.

“Oh I don’t know. Y/n dear”

You stiffen as you heard Lilia call for you.

“Yes?”

“Could you go get malleus? Tell him that dinner is ready” Anxiety and nausea is all you could feel. You slowly nodded your head before getting up and excusing yourself out.

As you walked down the hallway of diasomnia, you could feel your heart beat out of your chest.

You were extremely nervous.

The closer you got to malleus room, the more you could feel your heart almost bursting out.

Finally making it to his room. You softly knocked on the door.

“Mal? Dinner is-“ but before you could even finish your sentence, the door flew open and you were pulled into the room.

“What are you doing here” he asks sternly.

“Lilia asked me to come get you-“

“No”

“Huh?” His hold on you tightened as you looked at him with wide eyes.

“Why. Are. You. Here”

“I-I..” but as you expected, no words came out of your mouth.

You were beyond scared and you didn’t know what to do to not make him more mad than he already is.

“ I came to visit. Lilia made me come here”

“Are you here to kill us?! Huh?!”

You looked at him confused as he just went off on you.

“W-what? Mal what do you-“

“You know exactly what I mean! And don’t call me mal”

“I- I’m sorry but I don’t know what you are talking about!”

“Stop lying! I saw it! I saw it that day!”

“What? What did you see?!” At this point you were confused. You didn’t know what he was talking about and why he was acting like this.

“Your gonna kill me aren’t you? That why you are acting all nice and sweet. You want me dead don’t you! You are going to do the same thing your parents did to mine huh?!”

You just stared at him. You couldn’t believe what he was saying. You didn’t even know what he was saying!

“Malleus! Please just stop!”

“No! I won’t let you hurt me or anyone!”

“Malleus-“

“You should’ve died in that fire along with your parents”

Your heart stopped when those words left his lips. You stared at him in disbelief and hurt as tears started to flow down your face.

He just looks at you with hatred. Not regretting the words that just have left his mouth.

You two just looked at each other before you finally looked away.

“Alright. I’ll just leave”

Was the last thing you said before walking out the room.

That was the last time malleus and anyone else saw you.

You never came back to NRC, you never made it back to briar valley, you never made it back to the castle.

It’s like you disappeared

And…maybe you did.

Mhm..." it was the only sound that came out of you. It was the last class of the day. Trein's class...the most boring of them all.

Trien was talking about some magical sorcerer or something, you didnt really pay attention. You where just trying to stay awake, Rubbing your eyes occasionally or yawning..maybe scratching your arm. All in a weak attempt to not drift off.

"Hey," Sliver said, poking your cheek with his pencil end. "Did you get any sleep last night?" He asked, a slight concern lacing his voice.

"Barely...I do this so much. I stay up on my phone, and then regret it the next day...doesnt help im already tired normally."

Silver chuckled, spinning his pencil in his hand. "I get that..not the phone part but y'know, just being..tired. all the time."

Not long after, classes ended, and right there was Malleus waiting by your class door. "Ah, child of man. How was your day?" He asked, grabbing a hold of your hand.

Still rubbing your eye, you replied "it was fine i guess. Jeez, im so tired. I swear im about to pass out..." you complained. "Oh my, let us go to my dorm, it would be best if you didnt pass out on the floor like Silver."

"Yeah, i guess so...Wheres grim?" You asked, worried for you little friend. "Do not worry, I believe he is with Trappola, Spade, and Rosehearts."

Sighing in relief, your mind was put to ease by his words. Soon, both of you left to his dorm, he held your arm tightly. Making sure if you did pass out, he would catch you immediately and make sure you didn't fall to the floor.

Getting to the dorm, you practically fell to his bed. "My, your quite comfortable, are you not?" He chuckled, sitting on the bed as it slightly dipped down. You groaned, shifting and moving around to find the perfect spot.

It wasnt long until you were absolutely comfortable and very sleepy. Malleus laid next to you, he reached his hand out towards to you. "May I?.." He asked permission to hold you. You nodded and yawned slightly.

Malleus wrapped his arms around you, holding you carefully and delicately. As if any pressure would shatter you.

"My love.. I am glad that I get to see you everyday. I am glad to be your lover. Each glance that you give me, every smile that we share, all our moments together, I treasure them all. I am proud to be with you, your kind heart had no bounds... I love you."

Awh. How sweet... But you where already asleep by then, his low and smooth voice luring you to slumber.

"Ah.. I suppose I will tell you again when you awake." He kissed your head gently and closed his eyes.

I have a cursed idea and I want to share it with you.

Okay, imagine that you are helping Malleus with the computer. He's really not that good with technology and since he's your "friend" you've promised to help him.

You need to go to the bathroom for a while and you take a break. And when you go back Malleus would have accidentally ended up on "abdult" sites... Typos are not always nice.

This is where the fun begins... When you try to explain things as roundly as possible to Malleus and at the same time make him promise not to talk to Sebek about it... You don't have a death wish.

Luckily things he saw weren't soooo bad... But maybe it's best stay away from Sebek a while.

Plot twist: Malleus knew exactly what he was after and did it so that you would "defend his honor" and marry him after the incident... He's mildly disappointed when it doesn't work out that way.

Ever since your betrothal to one another when you two were young, you and Malleus have written letters to each other (per Briar Valley courting tradition). After many long years of writing, it wouldn't be until recently that you'd finally be able to meet each other again, and it would be at NRC (where you’d be attending as well).

While he was so excited for your arrival, I think it starts off a bit awkward between the two of you despite having sent years and years’ worth of letters. Yes, he was ready to show you the many things that he’d spoken of in them, from the beautifully sculpted gargoyles around the school, to the lovely garden they have, and to some interesting spots he’s discovered, but when you finally stood in front of him, he froze and his heart was about to leap from his chest. You looked just as beautiful as your soul that had always shone through your writing.

He’d still try to act composed, but inside, he’s freaking out. He would just also be insanely nervous that you’re finally physically here with him. Thankfully, you’re kind and patient with him and the moment you mention gargoyles, his nervousness goes away, gets replaced by passion and adrenaline, and he confirms that indeed, this really was the girl he’s admired and wrote to for so long.

You would sneak off with Malleus to go on nightly walks and explore some ruins, to the dismay of both Sebek and Silver as well as your own retainers.

He'd appreciate that you wear the necklace he gifted you, so he'd also wear something you had gifted him. If neither of you could wear the marriage ring just yet, then at least something like this would do. It's a sign that you're his and he's yours.

Aside from you two, I think many would make it a point to avoid you for fear of being struck down by the powerful fae that is to be your husband if he ever saw them approach you. Sure, Malleus would probably give those who seemed to get too close to you a small, disapproving cold stare, but he would do no such thing as striking them down (not unless they hurt you). Therefore, you would still end up being isolated sometimes as well. Malleus would notice this and apologize to you for being the reason most are scared of approaching you. You would have to assure him that he has no need to apologize. If that’s the way it was going to be, then so be it. Yet, this wouldn’t stop you from trying to change it nevertheless.

You’d still receive invitations from the school or other students, and while Malleus is happy for you, he’d be inwardly sulking at the same time. You could be reading the invitation letter, and Malleus would take a peek from behind you and would scoff, “Hoh, they dare invite my wife-to-be without inviting her husband as well? How cheeky” Now Malleus would never force you to stay with him if he wasn't invited, but man would it be hard to still attend as you look at his sad face when you’re about to walk out the door. (Don’t leave this man alone pls)

You wished others could see how kind and sweet your fiance actually is, so you’d take it upon yourself to bring him to the places/events you’ve been invited to. Though he might be awkward trying to socialize, especially as he receives stares, you’d gently help him ease into it and ensure that he's included in the conversation. He’d appreciate you for taking the effort to help people come to like him, or rather, truly get to know him. And so it made him overjoyed that someone like you was going to be his wife. He couldn’t be any more grateful.

Malleus would be akin to a lost puppy following you around the way he always sticks to your side as much as possible. Wherever you are, there he wants to be. He’ll give you space whenever you need it and he knows he can’t be with you 24/7 of course, but he’ll always have his mind on you even when you’re away. If you’re gone for too long, he’d start becoming antsy, always wondering when you’ll be back. Yeah, you two were able to handle the distance over many years of writing to each other, but now that he has you in his presence so often, he doesn’t want to let you go. If he can’t do anything to see you sooner, he’d simply have things you’ve given him or some of your belongings around him to help content him for the time-being. Like, if you gave him a plushie, then you’d best believe that he’d be hugging it so tightly as he slept. Or did you leave him your handkerchief? It’s in his pocket right now. This dude is an absolute simp for you.

He loves it when you help him raise his dear tamagotchi, Roaring Drago. He'll mention how much he can't wait to have his own roaring dragos with you. He gets just as excited talking about a future with you as he does when talking about gargoyles lmao. He already begins planning names and such that you'd have to tell him to calm down a bit, especially when he mentions that he wants a big family (we’re talking about 3-5 kids). At the end of the day, he'll go with however many kids you'd like, but I was just thinking he’d want such a big family since y’know, he’s been lonely and isolated from others so having lots of people around would lift his spirits. (And what more would he want this many when the mother of his children would be you?) He’d imagine your little babies running around the castle, filling the great, long halls with joyous noise and laughter, something he didn't quite have when growing up. He’d imagine sitting by the fireplace with you and them, talking to them about gargoyles, how you two met long ago, or answering any of their silly questions when something confuses them. One might be sitting on his lap, one might be hanging on to his leg, one might even try to sit on his shoulders, holding on tight to his horns and ask him to stand up so they can feel as tall as him, and the other would be in your arms or lap as well. He absolutely could not wait for that future where he can be surrounded by those he dearly loves and adores.

Thinking about the song Take a Break from Hamilton.

Specifically that part where Angelica talks about how Alexander wrote My Dearest, Angelica and how it completely changed the meaning of the phrase.

For context-

So, I’ve talked about how Malleus prefers to send letters rather than texting you, right? And when he writes you, it’s insanely clear how much he loves you, rightttt?

Well one day you reply to his letter, however, this letter looks and feels a bit different than the past ones.

And it’s all because of how you started it.

Usually you write:

My Dearest Malleus,

But this time you wrote:

My Dearest, Malleus,

And he freaks out because, oh my god, you must love him too, right?

Dearest of all Malleuses?

Him!?!

He thinks he’s about to faint.

He immediately shows Lilia, Sebek, and Silver.

Lilia is ecstatic!!! But also a little worried he might’ve misinterpreted it. He immediately calls you up and asks you about it. He doesn’t want Malleus to be all excited over a simple mistake:(

(And of course you meant it that way. Even though you’re definitely not as obvious as Malleus, it’s still clear you love him dearly.)

Sebek is flabbergasted, but keeps his mouth shut for once.

And Silver? Yeah Silver is sleeping through all of this. But when he wakes up (eventually) he’ll be happy for Malleus as well.

And that night, Malleus shows up at the dorm and knocks on your window eagerly. He must talk to you at once!! He needs to talk to you about your letter.

You blush as he speaks to you. He says that you must be in love with him and that he reciprocates your feelings. That he’s absolutely head over heels for you and would do anything for you.

“Child of Man, your letter…did you mean what you said?” He speaks softly, as if he’s worried he’ll hurt you.

“..what? What did I say?” You blush as you talk.

He looks absolutely radiant in the moonlight…

“My Dearest, Malleus. That��s what you started with. Child of Man, you meant that, right? Do you love me?” He grabs both of your hands, rubbing his thumb over your palm.

“Oh..you caught onto that? I was hoping you wouldn’t..” you laugh nervously.

You really should’ve known it wouldn’t have slipped by him.

“Of course I caught onto that. Gosh, you’re such a precious little thing…Child of Man, do you love me too? Please, tell me you do. I love you, I’d do ANYTHING for you..please tell me you love me as well..” he falls to his knees dramatically, making you giggle as he continues to hold your hands.

“Of course I love you as well, my dearest, Malleus. How could I not?”

And that night, you two talk and cuddle underneath the stars.

Yes you wake up absolutely exhausted, but there’s a gorgeous fae prince right by your side, snoring away.

A/N: What is it about CEOs that so fucking attractive to write about?

CEO!Malleus who watches your every move when you're in his line of sight. There's no way he'll let that cute skirt you're wearing go to waste. Oh he won't touch you, you'll come to him and he knows it, just a few looks up and down your body, his tie loose just enough to show a bit of his skin and you're pulling on it to get in his face for teasing you so early in the morning.

CEO!Malleus who calls you in his office multiple times a day just to see you. So he uses his power as your boss a little, yeah he will admit that much, but he loves talking to you. You make his normally boring day so much more interesting.

CEO!Malleus who takes call after call and gets a really bad headache at the end of the night. Sometimes he feels like he wants to rip his horns off to take his mind off the pain. But then there's you, coming to the rescue by giving him a massage and telling him to go home and rest, which he wouldn't have done otherwise because he feels like he needs to finish absolutely everting before going home.

CEO!Malleus who spends his lunch with you, or rather he has lunch scheduled at the same time as you do so you can eat together, sometimes not in the same room, just on the call and talking. Truth be told it's very different from the time he usually eats but he thinks that your lunch time works well for break time.

CEO!Malleus who leans over the desk, all serious and intimidating for anyone who you bring to him but to you it makes your heart race so fast you need to sit down. When the client leaves you feel hands on your shoulders and a smile against your ear, asking of you're okay. Oh he knows very well why you needed to sit.

CEO!Malleus who truly thinks you're the best secretary he's ever had. Not because you're cute, he's had cute secretaries but you're not using it against him and you're never trying to get out of work for any reason. You work almost as hard as he is. If you were working as hard as him it would actually be worrying. At least one of you has self control and a normal sleep schedule.

CEO!Malleus who gives you a clear signal every time he wants to make out. And usually it lasts a pretty long time too. Good thing his office has blinds and is soundproof because otherwise both of you would get into so much trouble. You both need to learn to be more quiet.

CEO!Malleus who loves walking you to your car after the work day is done. He's offered to drive you home multiple times but every time you turn him down because you don't think you'd let him leave. Showing up with the boss first thing in the morning would give your relationship away pretty quickly.

CEO!Malleus who jokes about giving you vacation time just to spend it with him without anyone else knowing. Now that would be abusing his power, and he would never do that? Or would he? He never did before but he admits that it looks very appealing to have you all to himself every day.

CEO!Malleus who does in fact book a vacation but at a separate time from you so you only get a few full days together. On the other days you sent him cute pictures of yourself, which really made him wish he was there with you, but once he sees you he gives you the biggest kiss you've ever gotten.
