In this au, NRA housewardens are gifted with special masks that removes the limit of all their physical abilities and enhances their magical prowess.

However, everything comes with a price.

The more you use this mask, the more you lose your mind due to the overwhelming power you have at your disposal. Therefore, only housewardens with enough 'experience' with the mask are able to gain full control.

Currently in NRA, there is only three housewardens with this capability, commander of Savanaclaw, Ignihyde and Diasomnia. While the commander of Pomefiore do have some capabilities, it is not as efficient as that of the other three housewardens. On the other hand, the other 3 commanders are less skilled and uses the mask much less.

Furthermore, the 'staffs' the housewardens behold has the ability to morph into that of the weapon used by the Great Seven it represents.

Currently, the only example I can give is Heartslabyul.

Riddle's staff can change into the war axe used by the Queen of Hearts

Each chapter will take place at the time of the male housewarden's overblots. The genderbend housewardens have a gem in their staff that signals of a blot monster approaching, but the moment the activitate the gem to transport them into the blot's location, it will transmigrate them into another universe

Alright I confess: I have been projecting my OC onto our conversations.

Seeing as you frequently reblog other people's ocs . . . meet Nikki Bhavsar, a 17-year-old genderfluid hindu warrior living as an 2nd generation immigrant in Canada.

Note: this image is not mine, I suck at drawing. It comes from a genderbend fanart of an indian anime character (source).

Context: they are not Yuu. Nikki's world is one where a bunch of timelines coexist as a sort of "single" timeline where each one corresponds to one religion. This means that all gods for all religions exist. When a new religion is created, a new timeline forms where the believers are sort of transfered to. Same applies to when someone converts. So long as the timelines don't contradict each other, they'll keep coexisting. But when a timeline contradicts the others, it'll only affect the people in it (ex: rapture will only affect Christians, everyone else is unaffected). Now because all gods are real, all other mythological beings are also real. Which leads to a bunch of demons, monsters, curses, etc. plauging hummanity. In comes the Necessary Evil: specialized priests/warriors chosen by their respective gods to destroy the evil worse than man. Because its such a stressful job, they're often given boons/powers/weapons and exemptions from certain sins to a certaine extent so they don't break down (including a special boon to increase mental fortitude). Gods themselves can't directly interefere too much because of risk that they might mess up the timelines.

Nikki is a warrior in the service of the Hindu gods and works very closely with the incarnations of Parvati, Shiva, and Vishnu. Their boons are listed in the Abilities section at the bottom of the profile above.

Now how do they play in with TWST? Simple, one Yuusona (3 total; this particular one is from a collab & belongs to @blanketorghost) is from Nikki's world and already had a portal open. When two more people showed up in TWST, Nikki was basically the case officer tasked with finding the new guys' home dimensions. In the process, they befriended all 3 yuus and frequently hung out with them.

Now CH4 comes along, Crowley is away and so are 2 of the yuus. Yuu#2 (mine this time) decides to call Nikki since they have interdimensional signal. So Nikki shows up alongside the Octavinelle parade and, curtesy of their years of killing manipulative demons, is instantly onto Jamil. Yadda yadda, overblot happens, yadda yadda, Jamil gets kicked into a wall.

Because Nikki, like the good person they are, can't keep out of other people's business, they become a big sister figure to Kalim on his harrowing journey to independance while holding Jamil back from being an overbearing mom.

Its these conflicts that lead to Jamil and Nikki bantering and eventually falling in love.

Now onto the unhinged obsession part: Nikki's healing factor is like Deadpool/Sukuna/Nezuko level speeds. Its almost impossible to kill them. Because of this, they often used their own body as a human shield and are very used to being physically brutalized. There's also a part of them that disagrees with being exempt from the sin of murder and lets themselves be hurt to deal with their guilt. Its also because they've been exposed to so much violence from such an early age (12 years) that they're extremely protective of friends, family, and Jamil especially. These people are their heart, Jamil being the biggest part. And anyone who dares hurt their heart must die.

I'm gonna preface by saying that Nikki is rarely genuinely angry. They'll be frustrated at enemies, dissapointed at reality, or annoyed with others, but never truly angry. Usually, they're pretty cheerful and very level headed. To really piss them off you have to a) be an irredemable scum of the Earth who regrets nothing or b) hurt their loved ones.

This isn't a blind rage either. Nikki's anger is cold, precise, and ruthlessly efficient. When dealing with enemies of hummanity, you have to kill them as quickly as possible while minimizing damage to their sorroundings. An angry Nikki uses these skills to the extreme. One moment you're laughing at a bloody bruised Jamil, the next you don't have a head. If they hate you in particular, they'll keep you alive and take the time to physically break you to the point you wish you died.

You have to understand that working so closely with gods and the supernatural tends to have certain effects. In particular, if you're not careful, you'll loose you're hummanity and become something else. More often than not, it is followed by suicidal behavior at the loss of human connections or completely withdrawing from everyone. Its why the Necessary Evil are pardonned for prioritizing their relations with their loved ones over their connections with the gods. While the gods may be their guiding light to salvation, their loved ones are the fuel that keeps them going.

If Nikki were to lose Jamil, their lover and other half, they wouldn't have much of a reason for living. No friends nor family could replace the hole it would leave. Jamil is one of the main reasons Nikki looks forward to creating a future.

Nikki is someone who dislikes violence and only uses it when strictly necessary. But if their opponent is someone who dares to lay their hand on Jamil, then all that hesitation goes out the window and there is nothing left but bloodlust.

Ngl the only thing stopping them from wiping the nobles of the Scalding Sands of the map in the fact they haven't done anything recently and Jamil said no. Not even Jamil's parents would be safe, oh no. They ever raise a hand against Jamil (still bitter over that falshback slap), they'll have a pretty noticable bruise on their wrist (be grateful Nikki was raised to be polite towards the inlaws.)

Oh boy. Suddenly Jamil is the less messed up one in the relationship, huh? Oof just the mess of being told by a higher being that your actions are justified while at the same time feeling guilty about it and “repenting” for it through pain. Oh dear. Totally a fine mindset that’s never going to lead any problems at all.

Love the progression from “Jamil gets kicked into a wall” → “Jamil, their lover and other half”. What a meet-cute story to reminisce about.

Your previous ask also got me contemplating this angle of if it would be a quick, decisive death, or drawn out if Jamil’s s/o (or Nikki in this case) were to be on a warpath as you described in that ask. Like with the darkside versions, I could see Jamil being the vindictive sort to draw things out and gloat in his victory (and even in his regular version tbh). Wasn’t sure how it would be for the s/o as you described them, but I guess this answers that question, too.

Folks better watch out - sure, Jamil can take of himself, but still.

Also ngl sure violence is not the answer but I sure would love for someone to visit some consequences upon the folks in Scalding Sands.

For the worldbuilding here, the idea of supernatural / religious events only affecting the believers is an interesting way of meshing together the potential contradictions in a world where all these different beliefs are manifestly real. Though I do wonder how it affects people to live in a world like that, if you have people of different faiths living side by side and seeing the very tangible effects each other's faiths have on them. Like, how would that affect things like conversion, personal faith, interreligious relations and all that 🤔

So do after this story do you plan on making another crossover series or a regular series after this?

I do have another crossover that has been in my head for awhile, it it taking time to conceptualize though, and it's very niche tbh. Another one I have toyed with is a TWST x HP story in which the HP cast goes to Night Raven after all the overblots during their repeat year and they are totally bigotted to Yuu who hasn’t awakened his magical power yet, during HP’s fifth year so...Umbridge vs. NRC staff.

The other is a Record of Ragnarok x Alchemy Stars with Genderbend...like I said...niche.

"This is so cute!" You chirp, staring at the small figurines, one of a female dancer, the other, a man with a hunchback. Mallues, who had joined your group of exploring the City of Flowers, chuckles at your expression.

Riddle on the other hand, smiles softly, relaxing at the sound of your voice.

"[Twisted Esmerelda] is gonna love this!" You say, looking over to your vice-leader. Who was sweating bucket over the glare-off happening between Mallues and Riddle at the dolls you had bought.

"Hey, Tsunotaru, calm down..!" Yuu whispers, nudging the dragon-fae. "Riddle-Senpai, please relax!" Yuu squeaks in fear, afraid of dealing with another Overblot mishap. Remembering the trauma from Chapter 6 and since the prologue.

TWST GENDERBEND MILITARY AU

A/N: just a word vomit of the scenario i had in mind lmao

*crash*!

Blot.

Blot was splattered everywhere.

The once oh-so beautiful rose garden of Heartslabyul was in wreck and ruins.

The ear piercing laughter heard from the quite no longer human looking housewarden of Heartslabyul was enough to shake anyone with fright to the core.

And yet, the currently present members of the dorm founded on the Queen of Hearts felt no desire to run away.

None at all.

In fact, a spiked red head had the ambitious desire of beating poor Riddle Roseheart to a pulp. Yes, Ace Trappola had quite enough of the little red headed prick's bull shit.

Although, that desire had to be satitated after defeating the Overblotted Riddle.

*beep* *beep *beeeeep*

Noises came from the gem encrusted in the staff belonging to Commander Rozanne Roseheart. Her beautifuly upturned gray eyes sharpened with alert as she summoned her housewarden mask on her free hand.

As natural as it was for a mouse to be the prey of cats, rule breakers must face something akin to an execution. Especially those damned R.Blots along with magicians who willingly overblots.

And Rozanne obligingly took up that role.

However, what she had not considered to be natural was the idea of being transported into a swirling vortex of blot and red.

Ace thought he had seen everything.

He remembers the horrifyingly grotesque cake that his brother made for his seventh birthday. He's seen a talking, fire-breathing cat set a guy's butt on fire, cauldrons fall out of the sky and tarts whiz in the air.

Heck, he's watching his tyrant leader overblot into some scary banshee thats throwing a temper tantrum that Ace considers overkill.

But nothing, and he would later swear that nothing, would prepare him for a girl with all too familliar scarlet hair and grey eyes appear in a vortex of red and ink.

"--?!"

Her entrance hadn't been a quiet one. Everyone's eyes were on the Riddle impersonator. Or, at least, an impersonator that resembeled what Riddle used to look like before he lost it.

"What in the great seven's name..." she trails off, transfixed on Ace's overblotting housewarden.

Now that he was looking at her properly, she didn't look exactly like Riddle...

Her hair was noticably longer, and the face was much so much softer. Not to mention-

"Did Riddle get shorter or something?"

Her eyes snapped towards to the oh so ever suicidal Ace.

May I request dorm leaders going to ramshackle dorm to hang out with s/o but finds out that s/o hanging with dorm leader's genderbend versions? Sorry if it dosen't match up with your rules, your free to remind me if it does

I don’t even know what happened with this... I have ideas then my hands just took over. Hope this is fine with you.

These two take turns to regulate the dorm and spending time with you.

The entire Heartslabyul dorm is living in a nightmare right now though.

Other than that, these two will end up bonding and open up to each other (since they’re technically the same person). Which helps with his recovery from his overblot as well.

He can smell his scent but also, it's not him?

When he sees what’s going one just grins at you and hurls a bunch of teasing words.

Say goodbye to your legs because they’re going to be numb from now on.

These two refuses to let you leave when they want a nap. You’re their lap pillow now, deal with it.

Not really sure if this is a win or lose situation but hey at least it's not like the dorm is on fire, right?

Ruggie is just glad he can focus on his part-time jobs rather than running errands in the middle of his job.

The most peaceful interactions out of all of the dorm leaders.

Forget about hanging out with his gender-bent version, these two will end up talking about business and how to improve Monstro Lounge.

You could leave the room and these two will be presenting a 500 slide PowerPoint presentation to each other.

Well, I say that but the moment they realized you left them both start feeling bad.

Both would think that you left because you feel left out and hate them for it when you just want a smoothie.

These two will be crying and hugging you once you come back making you drop your drink.

“MY SMOOTHIE!”

Okay, now they really feel bad.

Smoothie is now added to the menu and you get 1 free smoothie every day.

Have fun babysitting two sugar-high children.

Kalim insists on introducing the female version of him to the entire dorm.

Cue to Jamil spouting unholy noises and flees in horror.

It was fine at first but now you have to keep these two happy and entertained without Jamil’s help.

A whole new world nightcore version while having that magic carpet ride.

These two will spoil you to the bone. You stared at a necklace? Sold. A book? Sold. Please stop him or you’ll be the reason why his family’s business will go bankrupt.

Don’t fall for those puppy eyes, it’s a trap.

When the day ends, you are more than happy to join Jamil’s “tired of Kalim Al-Asim’s shenanigans” club.

Business, the sequel.

Except for this time, you’re involved as you’re going to be these two’s mannequin to slather make-up and to dress up.

You have now gained respect towards models, especially these two. Staying still is surprisingly pretty tiring.

So is posing and continuously changing from one outfit to another.

As happy as you are to see Vil interact with someone with his standards, it can be a little bit overwhelming.

Especially when there’s a little disagreement on what color or style would suit you more.

Feel free to gamble on getting Rook there. He might end up taking up both Vil’s time or obey whatever they order him to do.

Epel is so ready to die when he learned there’s two Vil’s now.

“Ah! Rule 63 me!” Both of them screamed.

If you weren’t aware of what rule 63 is, he will explain that it’s the rule where basically if it exists, there’s a gender-bent version of it.

You end up grabbing Ortho to help you out with their otaku lingo.

Ortho is just so happy to have an even bigger family.

Video games all day. You and Ortho will be begging for mercy whenever those two play co-op against you.

You’ll end up being the peacemaker when it's and Idia vs. Idia game. Especially if it's like Smash Bros and/or Mortal Kombat.

Either way, you and Ortho are just so happy that Idia is being friendly to someone… even though it technically himself.

Have fun cleaning up after them. Chips and consoles are everywhere.

Color him surprised. He wasn’t aware of this phenomenon being possible.

You’ll end up receiving a history lesson about transformations and his genuine curiosity about this situation.

He would try to ask Lilia for help on the matter but the said fae would just dote on the other Draconia.

They’ll talk about gargoyles and the differences of their worlds.

Especially the amount of invitation that she receives compared to him.

He will be sad but you have to remind him that most people would just assume that as a dorm leader, he should know when the meetings are and require no invitation to join in one.

Which will lead to a big lesson between the difference of fae and human culture.

In the end, you three will walk around the ramshackle grounds and enjoy the night like normal.

I feel like when TWST fans defends TW from ppl who see TW and just be like “oh Disney villains hot guys” without any research Yana is actually laughing as it’s actually a “well yes, but actually no” situation.

I have seen the plot of TW and I know TW boys are expies/inspired by Disney Villains, yes, I know that, but here’s the thing. Weeks ago I saw a mag article translation of Octavinelle boys in Animage (I think it’s the name?) magazine,the article’s title is “those who carries the souls of the villains” , and we see the Great Seven being the guardian entity of the overblot victim. And the Mirror of Darkness can see into the soul...

What I’m trying to say is that the boys , while not direct genderbend/designed as hot guys, they are possibly legit reincarnations of the Great Seven. I’m not so sure, but certainly there are clues going that way. Would be ironic if we TWST fans losing our shit when ppl mistaking TW boys as the Disney character they are based on, because.... it could be the case, but actually not exactly, as reincarnation is still not the exact same person as their previous lives.
