Show Me Your Moves! (Chapter 10)

AO3 STORY

Chapter 10 : Outrage

Outrage is a Dragon-type move that inflicts damage for 2-3 turns, afterwards, it will confuse the user. If Outrage is disrupted (such as paralysis or hurting in confusion), it will end. The user will only become confused if Outrage is fully completed.

When Sandy said that he would be staying with Mei for the night, you prepared yourself for the eventual worst.

Mei had summoned her dragon form at some point, and you didn’t know the extent of the damage. It mainly hit her giant garden front lawn, but you didn’t know if there was any more collateral.

Low key, you were probably expecting General Ironclad to burst through your window.

But one thing you definitely weren’t expecting was Sandy leaving you in charge of the shop.

In hindsight, it made sense, but it still surprised you.

That meant leaving you the keys to the shop, as well as the keys to the register, and the keys to the fridges, the keys to the tea supply, and a key where he keeps all of his extra cat supplies that he couldn’t fit into his boat.

Add this in with your apartment key, and suddenly, you had all the keys in the world.

Not really, you’re just being overdramatic, but what else are you supposed to do when your boss leaves his newbie employee to take care of his entire store!?

Taking a deep breath, you calm yourself.

Everything will be fine…

Everything was not fine!

Being by yourself was incredibly stressful. You got the brunt of the lunch rush of people wanting tea, and you had to deal with an angry customer who is normally angry so it was more annoying.

Starts with Red and ends with SON.

Despite all of that, you managed to close up on time. You were listening to the radio as you swept the floors, just vibing, when—

C R A S H

You screamed and turned around.

And saw General Ironclad had indeed crashed through the shop window, and Mei’s dragon was clearly visible even though it was returning to the girl’s body.

And in your complete frustration, you scream.

Mei, MK, and Sandy were in the middle of the sleepover when Sandy’s phone began ringing.

Sandy answered, and seeing Mei and MK’s curious faces, put it on speaker.

“Hey, uh, Sandy?”

MK and Mei brightened hearing your voice.

“Hey, what’s up?” Sandy replied.

“Uhh, what exactly happened over there?”

Your suspicious tone made the three sweat drop. “A bull clone infiltrated my home and tried to steal some of my fam’s important stuff!” Mei explained.

“Great, uuum, did the bull clone wear a cape and fancy hat?”

“Yeah? Why?”

You turned on facecam to reveal the shattered window, as well as the almost decimated bull clone being pulled away by Red Son, who was grumbling incoherently.

“Maybe, next time Mei decides to blast someone, she should work on her aim.”

On the other end, you could hear Mei and MK laughing as Sandy let out a high pitched shriek. “MY WINDOW!!!”

I actually had considered the Cake variant of Delta Dwebble line before deciding on the Delta Ralts line since one: It’s another edible Pokémon that shares some of its body. Two: It’s Fairy/Normal, so really only weak to regular Fairy weaknesses. Three: It’s shiny is a chocolate cake instead of a strawberry cake.

Also! I have given Malleus the Delta Elekid line because the line is based off of gargoyles. Delta Electivire is also Rock/Dragon! I figured he’d like them :)

I’m figuring out what Delta Pokémon to give to the Twst boys, and I get to Leona and I’m stuck between three.

Delta Avalugg, Delta Hydregion, or funny pick Delta Muk.

Delta Avalugg is Rock/Dragon, Delta Hydregion is Ground/Poison, and Delta Muk is pure Ground. I was trying to pick something that would line up against my pick for Malleus because that made sense in my mind.

honestly, they all look super badass and neat

but if i had to pick only one, i think that Delta Hydreigon would be the best pick

i just feel like it fits him

AO3 STORY

Chapter 9 : Sketch

Sketch is a non-damaging move that allows the user to copy the opponent's move permanently, replacing Sketch.

You internally cursed Tang out in your head as you spotted an energetic MK painting along with Sandy.

For a second, you were glad that MK appeared to be back to normal, but then you remembered the madness that was his Artist Clone. You remember that it only took 15 hours for Porty to go on his power trip, and you were pretty sure Artist was earlier than Porty, and that’s why you felt that off feeling as you watched MK take two paint brushes and begin painting even more.

“How long has he been at this?” You whisper-asked Sandy, who whispered back that he’s been painting for about Five hours now. You shuddered. Five hours already? Ten hours or less left to go…

Two hours.

The clone lasted for two hours.

“It needs to be better. It needs to be better.” The Artist Clone muttered to himself as he painted an intricate mural of MK dancing, surrounded by clones playing different instruments.

Despite its beauty, Artist didn’t seem pleased with it.

“I think it’s pretty good, MK.” Sandy said, and you felt fear strike into your very soul when Artist MK turned to the two of you with an insane look on his face.

“Pretty good? Pretty good!? That’s not good enough.” You and Sandy cowered and hugged each other as Artist MK yelled at you two. “You asked me to help paint your boat and that’s what I’m gonna do. I won’t stop until it’s perfect!”

“I think it’s already perfect, MK.” You decided to stay, and he glared at you, making you even more nervous.

There was a small beat of silence, Artist MK’s eye twitched, then he attacked.

Sandy stood in front of you, hoping his natural strength could hold Artist MK back, but Artist MK’s funky mystic monkey powers easily kicked Sandy’s butt. Startled, you were powered up again, much like how you were back at the Weather Station, instead this time, the waves of the water became harsh, rocking the boat.

This didn’t intimidate the Artist Clone, and he ended up tying you and Sandy up before returning to his painting.

“Hey.” Sandy whispered to you, tied up suspended in the air. “Since when could you do that? The water thing?”

Ah, you forgot he was technically a water demon…

“The water thing? Just now, but apparently I’ve been unlocking these wacky abilities since Red Son took over the Weather Station. Remember when I punched that Bull Clone?” Your boss nodded. “Well, I also was covered in electricity, which totally short circuited the clone.”

Sandy nodded in understanding, and for the next few hours, you sat on the ground uncomfortable as Artist MK constantly painted over the murals he made over and over again, complaining about imperfections all the while.

“Yes, yes, the art is seeping into my pores!” Artist MK dragged a pink coated paintbrush across his face with an insane grin. “Just needs… One. More. Coat.” He turned to you and Sandy slowly, scaring the heck out of the two of you.

“You missed a spot!”

“Where!?” Artist Clone then disappeared in a puff of dust and hair, and the real MK appeared.

“Hey, MK. Mystic Monkey business?” Sandy asks knowingly, and MK nods.

“How many of those clones did you make?” You ask curiously, maybe he’d give you an actual answer as to how many he actually made and not just the main three clones from this episode.

Instead, he yelled out about Mei and rushed off, and you remembered that he’s better off saving her before she probably gets actually obliterated by that claw machine if he didn’t make it like last time.

“So… now what?” Sandy wiggled a bit, making him swing side to side.

“I think I can do something…” You replied. You wiggled around some too before one of your LEGO claw hands popped out of the ropes. You grabbed a knife from your pocket.

“Since when did you have that!?” Sandy helps out in alarm, and you chuckle.

“Since you hired me? You have quite a few of these just laying around in the store. I actually feel kind of comfortable walking around if I have an unreasonably sharp object to protect me.” You replied, easily cutting the ropes that Artist MK tied you in before freeing Sandy.

“I don't think that’s a good thing.” Sandy said as you freed him, easily landing on his feet.

You shrug. “Eh, what else do I have?”

He grabbed the knife from you with an unimpressed look on his face. “Those super strong powers you just admitted to having?”

You stared blankly for a second before pointing finger guns at him. “Touché.”

some beautiful hairpins (like the chinese or japanese kanzashi hairpins) with purple and magenta feathers

Her notebook with draws and writings

But her favorite is a ring with the image of crown that she use in her ring finger...and in that moment Jen casually mention Daring has one ring equal but with the image of a wolf...

THE GIRLS ARE FANGIRLING

LIKE I SAID, THEY ARE THE NUMBER ONE SUPPORTERS OF THE SHIP AND THEY WILL KEEP IT SAILING NO MATTER WHAT

they think it’s adorable how they have matching rings, and how sweet it is that Daring shows he cares

and while Jen isn’t the biggest fan of all the gift giving, she really appreciates it and makes sure to show her love for him back

Daring’s love language is gift giving, while Jen’s love language is physical touch, like holding hands

I seen in "tropes wiki" a "cope by creating" where a character use something creative or a way of art as coping mechanism

I thought in something like what if Jen use art like a coping mechanism for her dysphoria,like she had a notebook with things wrote draws or paints that she use during her bad days?

that sounds so neat!

Jen would totally have some type of notebook, whether she writes a character to create it, or just draws it

it was an idea from Daring, who was getting concerned about Jen possibly overexerting herself with workouts, so he gave her the notebook and suggested that

it’s very sweet, and the coping mechanism slowly turned into an enjoyable hobby that makes her feel much better about herself
