Tbh the best part of feedism is like. I woke up today and went “What if I made myself a whole pizza and got a two-liter of soda and a cheap cake and ice cream and had a birthday pizza party except it isn’t my birthday and it’s all for me” and now I got the pizza in the oven and I’m doing it. Other days I’m like “I just want to have a nice salad today”, and I’ll do that too. It’s so nice to just listen to my cravings ❤️

People will talk about 'diet culture', 'diet industry' and how we need to 'stop giving food a moral value' and 'stop demonizing food', and while it's true, that food has no 'moral value', it's also true, that some kinds of food are bad for your health in long term. Eating a burger or pizza doesn't make you a bad person (honestly, idk why someone would even think it does?), but if you eat it too often, it will make your body feel worse. And don't forget, that 'processed food industry' also exists, and doesn't care about your health and wellbeing. It's goal is (obviously) to sell you as many of it's products as possible, so this 'eat whatever you want, whenever you want' narrative actually works to it's advantage. Food doesn't have a moral value, but it has a nutritional value and consuming huge amounts of sugar, carbohydrates and artificial flavors can make you feel better emotionally for a moment, but definetely won't make you feel better, both physically and emotionally, in the future.

tonight was the first time in weeks.. maybe even months that i craved fast food.
i got in my car and headed to carl’s jr and right as i got to the street i needed to go down, i pulled a u-turn and drove around for half an hour listening to music instead.
6 months ago i wouldn’t have had that discipline to turn around. a year ago, i wouldn’t have even thought twice about it and i would’ve doordashed it instead of getting my lazy ass up from the couch.

I think working ten hour shifts is slowly eating me alive. it’s nice having three days off (since we work 10 hours we still get our 40 hours a week so we get another day off) but half the time on those days off unless I have plans I end up just laying in bed all day because I’m exhausted
