What is that little voice in your head telling you on a day to day? Is it kind, sweet and supportive? Is it judgemental as hell, pushing you like a strict mother, making you feel as though nothing you do is ever good enough? Does it whisper how beautiful you are in the mirror as you wash your hands or point out the acne you're desperately trying to get rid of? Your inner voice is the soundtrack to your daily life and needs to be on your side, like a best friend, not your worst enemy. But how do you shift your inner voice from cruel to kind? I actually had to do this last week. I felt like nothing I was doing was good enough, especially as I'm in a chapter of self-growth. It was exhausting me. Thoughts like, your clothes are terrible, you desperately need botox, your bank balance is in the gutter, you need to do more, be more, become more...you are not good enough. My inner world was literally dragging me down day in day out. Full to the brim of judgmental thoughts. It was fucking exhausting. So what did I do to shift the gears ? 1] I noticed what was going on - this might happen immediately, but you could also be living with negative inner chatter for months if not years. So if you’re feeling icky and in a low vibe state take some time out to become aware, this means sitting in silence, or a guided meditation to take you out of your head. This little mental break will give your inner critic some rest bite so the real you can see what the hell has been going on.
2] I journaled, I wrote and wrote and wrote. I know journalling is not for everyone, but if you can. Just start asking yourself some questions mine was something like ‘why is nothing I do enough, I am trying my best, I really am, why is nothing I do is ever enough’ after some digging, the answers always reveal themselves.
3] Make a new pact with yourself to be kinder and more loving. I wrote myself a little love letter and decided I will be kinder. I will be more loving, I went deep and used examples of how and this worked like magic. It’s been a week already and my inner voice is more gentle and loving.
Sometimes a little check in with yourself to re-align is all that’s needed.

If I could be a tree...
If only I could be a tree, wouldn't that be nice, you and me? Maybe a palm tree with sand at our feet a view of the sea living rent free. Yes it would be nice, to be a tree.
But I am just me, Where are you? I do not see. Losing bonds like leaves falling from a tree. Parts of me changed forever like a forest after a fire regrowth is painful but required ever changing despite my desperate pleas. It would be nice to be a tree, but how different would that life truly be?

Improving Concentration
Coloring also helps to reduce stress and anxiety levels. When we are feeling anxious or stressed, our bodies produce a hormone called cortisol. This hormone can be harmful in large quantities, causing us to feel irritable, fatigued, and overwhelmed. Coloring has been shown to lower cortisol levels, which can lead to a greater sense of calm and relaxation.

Hello 🌼
I would like to take you on a journey of self-discovery and healing, delving into the world of inner child healing.
The concept might sound mysterious, but I assure you, it's a path filled with self-love, resilience, and growth.
Let's explore how journal prompts can be your trusted companions on this remarkable journey.
Understanding the Inner Child:
Our inner child is the innocent, curious, and vulnerable part of us that carries memories and emotions from our early years. It's the part of us that felt joy in the simplest things, but also the part that may have experienced pain, fear, or neglect.
These early experiences can shape our beliefs, behaviors, and relationships in adulthood.
Why Inner Child Healing Matters
Healing our inner child is like tending to a garden. When we nurture it, we create a more vibrant and harmonious emotional landscape within ourselves. It's a process of acknowledging past wounds, offering compassion to our inner child, and fostering growth and resilience.
But where do journal prompts fit into all of this?
Journal Prompts: Your Guiding Light
Journal prompts are like gentle whispers from your inner child, guiding you to explore your emotions, memories, and beliefs. They provide a safe and sacred space for you to connect with your inner self, understand your past, and embrace your present.
Let's take a moment to reflect:
"What are my earliest memories of joy and happiness as a child?" 🌟 Revisiting moments of joy can reignite your inner child's sense of wonder and enthusiasm.
"Are there any childhood memories that still bring me pain or sadness?" 🌷 Exploring these emotions can be the first step toward healing old wounds and offering comfort to your inner child.
"What beliefs or patterns from my childhood continue to influence my life today?" 🌱 Identifying these patterns allows you to make conscious choices and break free from limitations.
"How can I show love and compassion to my inner child today?" 🌈 Embracing self-love and self-compassion is a powerful way to nurture your inner child.
Embrace Your Inner Journey
As you dive into the depths of your inner world with journal prompts, remember that healing is not about erasing the past but understanding it with empathy. It's about reclaiming your authenticity, unlocking your inner strength, and fostering self-acceptance.
You may encounter moments of reflection, tears, or even laughter during this journey, and that's perfectly okay. Your inner child is ready to share, learn, and grow with you.
So, grab your journal, a cozy corner, and your favorite pen. Let's embark on the beautiful journey of inner child healing, one journal prompt at a time. 📔💫
With love and support on your healing path,

You have to become your number one cheerleader in order to win in this life, there can’t be any room for that toxic voice in your mind. You might not even realise that you’re your very own number one hater. Think of all those times you try to step it up, wake up early, start a new business, take on a new exercise? And guess who’s whispering loudly in your ear holding you back? Persuading you that waking up early is BS, that going to the gym and doing exercise is stupid and you’ll do it another day, that why even start a new business? It’s going to fail anyway? That voice there in your mind is keeping you stuck and the only way to overcome your inner sabotage is to firstly start noticing this voice. Notice is as often as possible. As you’re in the shower and it’s creating an argument with that person, as you’re looking in the mirror and it’s pointing out how bad your skin is. Once you have this awareness and you can start to see how toxic your inner voice has become, you can now decide… do I listen to this self-hate that puts me down day in day out? Or do I replace that voice with something that empowers me? Because you truly have that power. Slowly but surely you’ll start overcoming all that negativity in your mind and watch how quickly this changes your life.

Demystifying Hypnosis: Clinical Hypnotherapy vs. Stage Hypnosis
Tumblr media
In today's world, it's not uncommon for individuals to approach hypnotherapy with a degree of skepticism or fear. Much of this apprehension stems from portrayals of hypnosis in media, where it is often sensationalized as a means of making individuals perform absurd tasks or behave in ways they normally wouldn't - like clucking like a chicken on stage. As a practicing clinical hypnotherapist, I'd like to shed some light on the topic and assure you that real-life hypnotherapy is nothing like what you've seen on TV or stage performances.
Firstly, let's differentiate between stage hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy. Stage hypnosis is designed to entertain, often employing elements of suggestion and comedy to elicit behaviors that delight the audience. However, clinical hypnotherapy is a respected therapeutic tool used in a professional setting to help individuals overcome challenges or make positive changes in their lives.
The goal of clinical hypnotherapy is not to manipulate or embarrass, but to empower. In my practice, I always reassure my clients: you will only cluck like a chicken if that's what you genuinely want to do! The role of a clinical hypnotherapist is to guide you into a state of deep relaxation and heightened focus, where your mind is more open to positive suggestions that align with your goals and values.
One effective form of clinical hypnotherapy that may be less known is conversational hypnotherapy. Conversational hypnotherapy does not involve any swinging pendulums or commands to "sleep." Instead, it employs advanced communication techniques and language patterns to help guide you into a state of heightened suggestibility.
In a conversational hypnotherapy session, the hypnotherapist skillfully guides the conversation in a way that encourages you to enter a relaxed, focused state. The therapist then uses specific language patterns, metaphors, and stories to facilitate positive changes in your subconscious mind. This technique can be especially beneficial for individuals who may be a bit skeptical or nervous about traditional hypnosis, as it feels more like a regular conversation.
Clinical hypnotherapy, including conversational hypnotherapy, is a safe and effective approach that can address various issues, from managing stress and anxiety to improving self-esteem and overcoming addictive behaviors. It's important to remember that the power of hypnosis lies within you - the therapist merely facilitates the process.
So, if you're considering hypnotherapy, don't let misconceptions or media portrayals deter you. As a trained clinical hypnotherapist, my goal is to create a safe, respectful environment where you can harness the power of your own mind to create meaningful change in your life. If you're interested in learning more or have any concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help!
