It's that time of year again to start prepping for Seasonal Depression! So let's talk about some herbal supplements that you can easily obtain that will help with the low seratonin levels that the cold months bring. Obviously this is not meant to replace any prescribed medications, and always be sure to check with a health professional that anything you take isn't going to conflict with what you already have to help with your symptoms. Ashwaghanda - Best for easing stress-related symptoms like fatigue, brain-fog, and memory loss. Chamomile - We all know this one! Chamomile is a proven stress-relieving herb that can also help with tension headaches, insomnia, and restlessness. Fish Oil!? - Yep! Usually provided as a vitamin, Omega 3 Fatty Acids are fantastic for not only helping with digestion, but is also extremely good for your brain. There are a few studies out there (although inconclusive in the major studies) that Omega 3's help with depression by allowing better absorption of seratonin. Ginko Biloba - Another easily accessible herb. It's well known for its neural benefits such as easing symptoms of brain fog, helping with concentration, dizziness, headaches, and anxiety. Ginseng - Often found in energy drinks, this herb can help with boosting energy, easing stress, and reduce stress. Kava Root - Acts very similar to Valium in regards to treating anxiety. However, unlike Valium, Kava Root is known for increasing cognitive function, further allowing you to ease anxiety. A warning, though: Although Kava Root is readily available, overuse can cause liver toxicity and many sources are known to be contaminated. So do your research before purchasing a product! Lavender - Oh, sweet Lavender! This wonderfully aromatic herb is extremely well known for its ability to reduce stress and anxiety. It's also extremely safe! You can use it as needed in any form; including teas, tinctures, oils, or even garnish on a salad! Maca - Used commonly for treating depression and lack of libido. Maca is great for stabilizing hormonal fluctuations that can cause anxiety and depression. Rosemary - This highly flavorful herb is fantastic for anxiety. Not only that, it's great for seasoning savory dishes! Saffron - This rather pricey herb is great for treating symptoms of depression. It can be used in tea or to season a dish. Further research is needed on the why, though. St. John's Wort - This is the best known herb for treating symptoms of anxiety and depression. Commonly used as a capsule, it is scientifically proven to be as effective as a mild prescription anti-depressant! But be very warned: St. John's Wort is notorious for negative interactions with prescription medications. Before you consider this herb, speak to a healthcare professional. Thyme - This herb is a great source for Lithium and Tryptophan. Both are proven mood stabilizers. Thyme should only be consumed in small doses, though, and is best used as a spice on a dish. Valerian Root - Best used as a sleep aid, Valerian root is a fantastic option for severe anxiety spells and insomnia. It's recommended to use this herb in the evenings before bed to help calm your mind for a good night's rest. It's EXTREMELY important, however, not to combine Valerian Root with alcohol or anti-depressant medications. Now that you have an arsenal of fantastic herbs to help you, get out there and enjoy these colder months! I hope this helps!

Say no to stressful situations
Eliminate as much stress from your life as you possibly can. Leave annoying group chats, block fake friends without explanation, ghost any guy who doesn’t meet your standards and overall just stop choosing to deal with people and situations that ruin your peace. Don’t make things harder for yourself when you have other options. I promise you it’s much better on the other side.

Hallo ihr Lieben,
Nach ca. 2 oder 3 Wochen hab ich zusammen mit meiner Mama die süße gebadet und sie hat es eigentlich auch wirklich genossen. Bis es zu viel wurde, dann fand sie es nicht mehr so toll, aber wichtig in der ersten Woche noch nicht Baden, weil die Haut da noch sehr empfindlich ist... ❤️ 🛁 und es war voll schön, danach war sie zwar ziemlich hungrig und müde, aber schön war es trotzdem. Und danach hat mein kleiner Schatz richtig geduftet. ❤️ Jetzt Baden wir sie immer mal wieder, manchmal gefällt es ihr manchmal nicht...außerdem war der Onkel M. Und Opa W. Super stolz und haben sie direkt fotografiert und angeglubscht ❤️ 📷
