Multiverse AU where different variants of Damian Wayne Al Ghul are accidentally hailed to one universe and Damian is in the middle, trying to get all of them back home, but it only gets worse and NOT for the reasons you would think.

So picture this: there’s a sea of Damian variants crowded into the Batcave. One’s a leader of the LOA. Another became the next Harley Quinn? One is a mute assassin. Another is Red Hood’s apprentice. One’s Batman. One’s a meta for some reason. Another is the leader of a revolution. One’s a monk. And another is a clone. They’re all somehow involved in vigilantism or the LOA.

And then there’s a completely normal one. He goes by Dami. He’s in college :) He works at an art studio. He’s got a heart condition. He has a boyfriend, and he has never been Robin before. In fact, he doesn’t even know his dad is Batman. So in a room full of wildly different versions, this Damian sticks out like a sore thumb. He’s like an NPC just standing in the middle of a final battle.

What he does know is that his mother, Talia, left the LOA with him when he was two because she fell in love with Bruce. Since then, the three have lived a Perfectly Normal Life as Perfectly Normal People in a moderately nice house in the suburbs of Gotham.

And you know what? No one questions it. Out of all the problems the Damians are having right now, Normal Damian is the least of them. So he just sits to the side, completely chill, and doesn’t interfere.

But then some chaos happens, the Damians are all sucked into a battle at some secondary location, Normal Dami is kidnapped, gets killed, and everyone’s super depressed about it. (Gosh, he was so nice. Why did it have to be him? Boo hoo. We didn’t even have time to recover the body.)

Until they head back to the cave…and there he is. Respawned. Alive. Confused.

He was literally dead on the floor two hours ago. They checked for a pulse! He bled out. Normal NPC Dami is supposed to be dead. But nope. He’s right there. “Hey, what happened? The last thing I remember is being tied up. Did I faint again?”

Everyone else, the whole batfamily and the mini Damian army, is like “wtf how’d you get here, buddy?” While he’s just like :) so Bruce, who put a bug on the security cameras or whatever, checks the footage and what he finds is absolutely horrifying.

Just after he died, Normal Dami’s eyes snapped open. Glowing a deep Lazarus Green. He stood up, walked out, and immediately fucking decimated the remaining group of kidnappers like a rabid animal. Literally anyone who got near him were goners, and Thank Sweet Jesus he didn’t run into anyone on the walk back because he didn’t care to clean off all that blood. Nope, he just walked right through the front doors of the manor, found a clean set of clothes, completely on autopilot, then all of the adrenaline wore off, and he collapsed from exhaustion.

So everyone watches the footage. NPC Damian is horrified. He insists that’s not him because he doesn’t kill people! How could they ever accuse him of killing people?! He has never done something like that. He can’t even walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded for Christ’s sake!

Nonetheless, he agrees to sit in their itty bitty holding cell as they do some fun little tests, and lo and behold: he is so genetically fucked up. Why? Because his DNA isn’t like the other Damians. It’s completely mutated by this green glowing substance that they know all too well.

The verdict? Normal Dami has been permanently mutated by the Lazarus Pit. The Lazarus Pit is inside of him. It IS him. Or maybe Normal NPC Damian is the Lazarus Pit.

When Normal Dami was two and he and Talia still lived with the LOA, there was an incident involving Damian drowning in the Lazarus Pit (à la Ra’s Al Ghul's Stellar Grand-Parenting Skills.) However, since he wasn’t dead, the Lazarus Pit devoured him, consumed him with violent pit madness, spat him back out, and Damian became this completely, unstoppably rage-filled toddler that can throw you over his shoulder and snap your neck. So Talia, terrified of what Ra’s would do with him, escaped to Gotham, found Bruce, begged for help, and they devised a plan.

Step 1: Raise Lazarus Damian as a completely normal kid.

Step 2: Take him to therapy. Maybe give him anger management classes. (Monitor his sugar intake. That couldn’t hurt.)

That was literally their whole plan. They had no other ideas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Occasionally, he’d snap and kill someone in cold blood (whoopsie daisy) but his parents were an assassin and the world's greatest detective. No one’s gonna know.

Through some trial and error, they found out that abrupt adrenaline spikes were what triggered the madness. So they worked around it. They gave him calm, relaxing hobbies. They spoiled him with emotional support animals. They Never Raised Their Voices. He was homeschooled for a bit then introduced to university, but only AFTER they made sure Jon (the Indestructable Superboy) was his roommmate. (Yes, they told him. Yes, he is now part of the convoluted Keep Deadly Damian Relaxed Task Force. They’re also dating.) They got Damian a FitBit that tracked his heart rate so they could predict when his adrenaline spiked. They Life360’d his ass so fucking hard. Meanwhile, Damian just thought he had some kind of medical thing, none the wiser the entire time.

Long story short? “Chill Normal NPC Damian” Cannot Die. But he can Kill.

If he does “die” (the Lazarus Pit cannot die) then he goes into a murderous rage, kills everyone in sight, it wears off with the adrenaline, and he can’t remember what happened. This Damian is the Most Dangerous of the variants, and he doesn’t even know it because his parents decided that would be best.

And now the other Damians are scared of him, and he’s scared of himself, and no one knows why he's made of the Lazarus Pit, and they don’t know what to do with him, and they still don’t know how to get back, and some of them want to kill him, and some don't, but no one trusts him, including himself, and it becomes an all-out war over the fate of Damian.

Anyway, Normal Damian who's actually a Murderous Lazarus Spirit without even knowing it. Thank you :)

I think I've never been more aware of just how many people only get their info of the batfam through fanfic. I finally started reading Red Robin (2009) and I can not believe how many things are blown out of proportion. Particularly about Dick and Damian.

First of all, Dick does try to put limits and he does get fed up with Damian's ways sometimes. Out of the three first interactions of them in the comic, at least in two he tells him to shut up. And one of those is when Damian starts to brag about being Robin and Tim being useless, he tells him to shut up twice.

Another thing about that moment, is that they treat it like Dick completely dismisses Tim and treats him as unimportant. He doesn't. He takes him seriously, he tells him he needs him, he tells him he views his as an equal, as someone capable. And he also tells him he's concerned about him and that he needs to start processing Bruce's death. Could that have been a little harsh? Yes, but he needed to do it without making Tim think there was room for him to be convinced about his theory because let's be honest, Tim would've taken anything less than complete refusal and tried to change his mind. And had he been wrong neither of them could have taken it.

Secondly, Dick is always left to shoulder the blame of kicking Tim out and of never reaching out. That's bull. And I need to make that clear. Tim was in a delicate point, he tells us this himself multiple times, but the decision to leave was completely made out of his own free will. Another thing he did was put space between him and the people on Gotham. We see only one time in which Dick tries to call him. Tim picks up and tells him he doesn't want to talk. This tells us that Dick respecting Tim's wish of space included almost no (or even no) contact, and Dick calling was not something Tim appreciated or encouraged.

Now. Going into the second year of the run, when he's back in Gotham, there's a few things to talk about and I'm still in the aftermath of Damian and Tim's fight.

I feel it's important to say that even if they are all family, more often than not they're doing their own thing. Like, Babs and Steph are in the Batcave while Dick and Damian are in Wayne Tower, Cass is said to potentially be in Hong Kong and we haven't even heard Jason be name-dropped except for the fact that he went on a rampage at some point.

So, Dick is immediately called away in League business. So he isn't there. Damian is behaving fairly civil besides being a brat, so no one wastes too much effort in correcting what he says. We need to think about the fact that this is a kid whose world was turned upside down multiple times in a short period of time, who has a need to be accepted, and who hasn't yet found his place. All this is to say, that if it's difficult to get him to eat breakfast there's no way they're controlling his every move and that's understandable.

So Dick is away, Damian is still trying to adapt, Alfred has his hands full and everyone else is doing something else.

The whole thing starts because Tim is being kind of cryptic about what he's doing with his hit list and Damian feels left out and goes looking for more. He finds his name in a hidden double side of the hit list marking him as a threat. He understandably feels hurt and angry, because he's a kid, and he's trying, and his predecessor who at this point doesn't even try with him anymore views him as something bad.

So in classic Damian fashion, he falls back on his upbringing and doesn't deal with the situation as one should, talking about it. Instead he cuts team line, hurting before being hurt. It could've been worse, we see in the panel that Tim doesn't have that much of a hard time getting safely to the ground. The problem is that he snaps and starts a full-blown fight he knows Damian won't back out off. (I'm pleased to add that after cutting his line Damian doesn't start anything else)

So they are fighting, Tim has the clear advantage and he knows this, we know this. And that's how Dick finds them. Having just returned from a JL mission, in the place where the Waynes were murdered, with Tim having overpowered Damian.

They go back to the cave and Damian shares his findings, and Dick understands. And Tim tells him he (Dick) knows why he (Tim) did it. Dick agrees, and tells him he should have tried to make it harder to find. Tim says he hadn't thought Damian would try or even care. Dick tells him Damian wants to be accepted.

All in all, so far the only thing this comic has proven to me is that there's a reason comics are the bomb and that fanon has gotten out of hand. I get making things out to be worse for the sake of a story, but everything surrounding these events is basically used as the foundation for Damian and Tim's relationship as well as Dick and Tim's and I don't think I've once read a fanfic where these events are portrayed correctly or even following the real motivations of the characters. This is a disservice to all of them and only serves to amplify the hate towards a character that doesn't deserve it. There's a lot of Damian hate going around. And it sucks. Mostly because people use his actions against Tim to justify it and honestly? I don't think you should be allowed to use that if you haven't read RR and understood what was going on.

okay so for those of you who haven't met me (most of you) I really like thinking about the way people talk (tone, inflection, accent, speech patterns, et cetera) and I'm tired so I'm extending this to the batfamily here we go here's my thoughts, unrequested and only slightly edited:

dick: sounds a bit like a male pop singer (think brendan urie but without the whining or busting his voice with drugs and bad technique). dude has a killer falsetto and can hit some of the highest notes in the house, beat out only by steph. saw a headcanon somewhere about him growing up speaking romani because of his parents and having an accent as a child that comes back when he's hurt or tired and honestly 100/10 it's part of this headcanon (and if you know where this post is please tell me! it's not mine and I'd love to give credit). you can also hear it in the way he says a couple less common words but his accent otherwise sounds exactly like bruce's.

jason: doesn't have the deepest voice of the batfamily; he's third deepest after bruce and duke. his tessitura (comfortable vocal range) is big though and his voice pitch changes a ton with his mood. he's got a soft r that the other bats don't have (think ny or boston) that he learned from his mom. his falsetto is trash but he is one of the better singers in the family. all low notes. you should hear him do the song the dwarves sing in the beginning of the hobbit.

tim: his voice is a little scratchy but it's not too noticeable. damian is the only batboy with a higher voice; tim and cass are at about the same pitch. he's a tad self-conscious about how he sounds in general and heavily mimics so he's got bruce's crisp ts and a softer r like jason's. he says "ahm" instead of "um" and that's not really common in gotham so nobody really knows where he's gotten that from. he's definitely more monotone, for a lot of reasons, and tends to emphasize his words by changing in volume rather than pitch.

damian: he's like twelve so his voice hasn't dropped yet but he wants it to be lower like his brothers. he's got just a touch of an arabic accent so his speech is a little more melodic and much like tim he's a mimic so he has bruce's ts and a few sporadic romani and aave quirks from dick and duke respectively.

duke: second lowest voice of the batfamily. the kid's quiet and his speech is usually peppered with aave although he's often a little self-conscious about it around the primarily white batfamily and especially white upper-class bruce. doesn't sing in public but he's good at it (he refuses to acknowledge this)

cass: okay she hardly ever talks but when she does it's slightly lower in pitch than what people expect. she typically speaks in broken english (well that's canon not headcanon) and it's always the same way as someone else in the batfamily speaks, usually babs, steph, duke, or jason since she spends the most time with them. she's barely ever louder than a kitten sneeze.

stephanie: holy shit the girl talks fast. she's got the highest speaking voice too by a few steps. gorgeous soprano but only about fifty percent of the time. loses her voice completely when she gets sick and turns into a raspy old lady. has an absolute knack for impersonations, not necessarily in terms of pitch but in speech patterns/rhythms.

barbara: right in between tim/cass and steph in terms of pitch. she uses very precise language and there's often random hacker lingo in there. she's also surprisingly loud and can out-shout any of them except for alfred.

and finally, bruce: deepest voice by a step or two. his batman growl is actually slightly higher in pitch if you listen closely enough which jason finds hilarious. he's got very crisp ts as a result of being raised primarily by the very british alfred and he often takes his time speaking especially in meetings.

I cried during your whole reply to the late ask. But please consider: Dick can't stand to look at Jaybin bc he feels too guilty and sad and he still thinks its his fault. And little jaybin is sad bc nothing has changed Dick still haces him no matter how much he loves him and Jason goes full mother on him bc a) he gets it, those are his feelings b) its a kid and Jason cant stand to look at a kid sad and c) if no one is looking out for him he might as well do. Damian is very !!!! Bc his position as jasons baby is in danger but also thats Jason as a *baby*. And Jason is just mothering two kids and Dick is taken out at the knees bc Jasons so perfect and protective and omG he wants to cry everytime he sees them. (Bruce is crying ln the corner and staring holes onto them) (Jason confronts Dick about making Jaybin sad and Dick cries)

The angst potential from this angle of the double-Jay!AU, oh dear. It hurts in a different way from this post. But yes, let's explore:

Where Jaybin is so excited to see what's become of the future. He's eager to see how his small family is doing and if it's grown, what all Batman & Robin have achieved - what Jason has accomplished. More than anything, he wants to know that all their efforts have made a difference for Gotham.

Needless to say, Jaybin is left...unmoored, for lack of better words.

Because everything is wrong.

Bruce won't look at him. Dick still avoids him. Gotham is still fucked up. And just - Jaybin is welcome in the mansion, but it doesn't take a detective to realize that future Jason is estranged because everyone hates him, too

And ughhh, Jaybin trying to mend those burned bridges because he's alone and without proper support, but it's like he's a ghost

So, because Jaybin knows that it must be his fault, he singles out Jason. Without really understanding what happened, Jaybin blames himself and tells Jason to fix it.

Because Jaybin wants his dad back. He wants his family.

Jason being blindsided by 'his' upset feelings although they're nothing new. He's sat with them for years. No one understands more than him how fucking bad this grief hurts.

But Jason is Jason and while he feels a compulsion to help, the subject matter strikes him dumb temporarily

So Jaybin grieves because he can't understand what went wrong. Something something, he lashes out and says some cruel things about how they should just die

And that's what Damian overhears and like. This boy does not take kindly to the cruelty.

There's a Damian/Jaybin throwdown that finally snaps Jason back into action. He separates them and sends Damian off with a promise to tend to him later, but for now - Jaybin

With Jason patching Jaybin up. And them having a bit of a heart to heart.

Where Jason hears out everything that's bothering Jaybin and answering as patiently/kindly as he can. Things with Bruce? Can't fix that. Gotham? Work in progress. Bat methods are a joke, so he's trying his own thing.

And Dick?

What about him?

Jaybin kicking out his leg and grumbling about how Dick still hates them. He avoids Jaybin like the plague.

Jason being surprised at that. While it made sense back in Jaybin's timeline (something Jason has begrudgingly come to understand), Dick seems the sort to capitalize on a situation like this. Jaybin is, objectively, darling. And easily teased.

Jason grumbling about how Jaybin must have that crush by this point in time, huh?

Jaybin flustering because what? No. Shut up.

Jason snickering, then getting melancholic and soft. He shrugs and admits nothing comes of it. Better to give it up.

Have you?

It's the biggest call out.

It's not something Jason is dealing with, so he slaps a bandage on Jaybin's face and goes to tend to Damian

Which leads to sleepovers at Jason's flat. Where Damian bristles like a territorial cat because Jaybin is encroaching on Damian's Jason/space/etc. The only reason Damian behaves himself and begrudgingly looks after Jaybin is because Jason requests it of him. Damian definitely isn't happy about it though.

Which leads to a whole other side plot of Damian learning about who Jason was before he grew to be what he is. And Damian recognizing qualities he really loves about Jason in Jaybin, but also the differences. Like how all Jason's jagged edges aren't yet so piercing. Jaded, but not yet wrecked.

And of course Damian falls in love with Jason all over again contemplates his discoveries to Dick. Who is fondly reminiscent because he remembers well and sees it all, too. ;U;

But what's more? Dick recounting stories of the sparse times Jason and he were together. Damian noticing how Dick is so soft and melancholic and regretful.

Which, like - just hang out with him? Jaybin is here. Now's the time to make things right.

Which Dick is adamantly against because he's of the mindset that he'll make things worse. He always does with Jason. And Damian is fully just l: because really, Grayson? Pathetic. He wasn't there before; be there now. If Damian knows anything with any certainty, it's that Dick is unashamedly relentless. Is Damian wrong? )<

More than anyone, Damian knows the importance of Dick just…showing up. So.

Which leads to Dick asking Jaybin to go on patrol with him.

Needless to say, Jaybin, Jason, and Damian are dumbstruck because what

Jason and Damian? Jealous af (though Jason bites his tongue while Damian spits and sputters because he's Robin, damn it). Jaybin though? Starry eyed with the most brilliant of smiles

Commence a lot of Dick and Jaybin bonding as Dick steps up in the way he couldn't before. All while Jason and Damian get all huffy and petulant in the background.

But it's cool because Jaybin invites Dick over for dinner at Jason's one night. Which forces Dick and Jason to spend time together in a domestic capacity. But before that:

Dick being let inside the flat by Jaybin. And Jason peers around the corner to the kitchen because who the fuck?

His eyes going wide because wtf is Dick doing here?

'Whatever it is - it wasn't me.'

Which makes Dick grimace because he's not here on a case, Jaybin invited him

Jason being all wary because that's just how things are at this point. Still, he lets Jaybin have his company. It's fine. It's whatever. Jason was cooking extra anyway.

And yeah, something something Dick watching Jason be a caretaker

Dick minding his own business before Damian kicks him beneath the table and glowers at him because: 'don't get any ideas, Grayson.'

To which Dick is !! because what? No! No, no.

It's just surprising/disarming/sweet, is all. Dick's never seen Jason in this capacity. //3///

And yes. More dinners. Family patrols. Dick being brought more into the loop and Jason begrudgingly allowing Dick into their family unit space. Something something, Dick running errands after work or bringing home food. Everyone going out for some outings. Joint patrols. Just strong family vibes that heal all of them, tbh. ;U;

Random theorys/headcanons SpyxFamily

Two options:

-Loid is considering how to keep his wife and daughter now that he is close to finishing his mission, but his enemies discover his family and hurt them so that Twilight appears, making Loid make the decision to go as far away from them as possible to ensure that they are alive.

EITHER

-Loid is looking for a way to abandon Anya and Yor in the least painful way possible now that he has to leave. But there is something that makes Loid reconsider his decision to keep them.

-Anya loses Chimera because of some mistake in the laundry room in her building, Loid tries to cheer her up by all means but no matter how many walks, gifts and cakes he gives her, the girl remains depressed, once he finds out that it was a gift from her dead mother searches every garbage dump in the country for the sake of the mission.

-Loid realizes that he read thousands of books on parenting but none that talked about adopted children, so he has to look for new books and research to understand Anya's needs.

-Anya laughing out of nowhere because she heard something supremely funny from someone's head but that someone only thinks she's crazy.

- Loid already knows that Anya is a telepath, on the contrary he thinks that she is important, useful and collaborative. So they go to the Desmonds' house to talk to Donovan, Twilight has her second meeting and chats with him hoping that later Anya, who is talking about studies with Damian, tries to hear a little of what she is thinking. She tries but, she doesn't hear anything.

-Denovan has a plate of some extraterrestrial metal in his skull because he knows about the Apple project.

-The wedding ring asking, do you want to be my real wife?

-The adoption anniversary cake asking do you want to be my real daughter?

-I seriously want to see how Loid turns on a radio to listen to the news and a song starts playing and they end up dancing like they do in the ending

-An old gossip telling the Forgers that they are pampering that girl too much. But they already know that this girl was probably electrocuted until she passed out on her 3rd birthday for the sake of "world peace" they send that old woman to hell so she doesn't bother.

-Anya having to live temporarily with WISE without being able to have contact with Loid because they fear that she will find out more things that she should not know, trying to do ethical studies and investigating her legal situation since when she was born in a laboratory. Anya doesn't understand anything and just wants to go home.

-Loid realizing that she dated over 30 women pretending to love them just to get information but for the first time she wonders, is this what love feels like?

-I need to see in the manga Anya's past adoptions and if she became attached to those families.

-Franlky yelling at Twilight to stop her from staying with her family "What? And what do you think you're going to do when the girl grows up and needs $150 mascara? Or when you have to kiss another woman to complete your missions? I told you not to get attached to them! "

And Loid type: help me keep them and I'll help you get a girlfriend.

-Yor happy reflecting that she likes being a mother.

-Damian getting a tonitrus (in general it would be interesting) but imagine if it is because he unconsciously saving Anya from having another one.

-Anya feeling uncomfortable because now her parents think differently now that they know she can read minds. Probably repeating "don't think about anything" thousands of times or imagining a white wall in front of her. Yor would even imagine the murders of her with censorship and avoid her the firts hours.

-Yor is finally sent to kill Twilight, she runs away from her family to find him, and when she arrives at the battlefield she sees him and says: "Loid! What are you doing here? Go hide or Twilight might kill you! But I'll kill him first!" "I'll explain everything to you later!"

-Imagine Loid reading the files of the 007 experiment together with Anya, always leaning his shoulder on her so that she does not focus on the trauma, but rather they take the opportunity to learn important details about Ania's origins that she did not know or not remember, her date actual birthday, her mother's name, the country where she came from, photos or videos of her when she was a baby, everything so that the girl feels happy to know a little about herself to better forge your identity.

-The day Anya calls Loid dad, he will be thoughtful and recognize that He is her dad!

-Anya dealing with a bully but she doesn't dare to defend herself because she already has 7 tonitrus, but her father is there undercover as a teacher and he makes sure that those bullies are expelled by giving them 3 tonitrus, although he would hit them himself if he could.

-Loid thinks because this mission is about to end and it is being so difficult that he goes out to spend some time with Frankly, he gets carried away by his feelings, he gets drunk and without anyone questioning him he tells him crying that he loves Anya and Yor.

-Anya could gets a tonitrus for rescuing rats from a high school classroom because they were going to be cut open for vivisection, flashbacks to the lab.

-When Anya begins to say dad to Loid, he realizes that he cannot say no to that creature and wonders when that stage will end. "Dad buy me more peanuts" you got it "dad will you take me to disneyworld?" Granted "Will you buy me a pony.... dad?" Loid is desperate because he can't say no.

-One of Anya's foster families took her to a soccer stadium But she ran away immediately because damn it was the loudest place she had ever been and she would spend the entire game going in and out of unconsciousness.

-I really want to see Anya saying sad things without knowing it because she hasn't lived a normal childhood. Why do people celebrate her birthday? Have you never been electrocuted?

-Remember the episode where Loid and Yor are drinking and the bartender is listening as Yor suspects Loid's infidelity? Well, imagine him listening to the sequel, hearing a drunk Loid cry for her family because he has to leave them because her wife won't love him for cheating on her, and Frankly yelling at him that they will get a lawyer to keep the child.

After the events of Red Robin, Babs and Luke inform Jean-Paul of the issues and problems going on among the bats. During a mission, Bruce got hurt again and has been benched, meaning the situation of "Dick covering for Batman" is once again back in town. This creates a lot of tension among Dick, Damian, Tim, Jason and Bruce, making it almost impossible for them to work together.

Having their hands full with actual city saving, Luke and Babs called JP to ask him to go back and help for a while. Luke does apologize for it, since he knows JP is way happier in Europe and working on his own. It's not that JP doesn't like Gotham, but he grew tired of Bruce and Dick treating him like trash, so he left months after Jason had that - violent encounter with Tim on Titans Tower.

Jean-Paul admits that was part of the problem too; he didn't like it that Bruce seemed so at peace with Tim getting hurt. And Tim... Tim allowed Bruce to ignore his pain. That was maddening, btw, and Jean-Paul had snapped a few times against Tim, screaming that he shouldn't let Bruce walk over him.

Whatever. Jean-Paul had left. He went to Europe and traveled, getting rid of the order of st. Dumas by himself alone, and then getting rid of other groups equally awful and cruel. It was a tiring, slow job. He traveled a lot, and from time to time visited Brian in Spain to chat, but mostly he focused on ending the cycle of violence that he had been raised into. Eventually he did, and just months later, Luke and Babs call.

Being back in Gotham is - weird. It has been years, and Jean-Paul feels uncomfortable around Jason and Damian. His dislike towards Dick hasn't lowered, and it has stayed as a mutual feeling, although JP can't help to feel a bit of pity for Dick when he sees how tired and old Dick looks once he takes off the Batman cowl. But hey, didn't Dick argue that JP wasn't worthy? Then perhaps he should carry the weight of the mantle he insisted JP tainted.

Mostly, JP doesn't like being back at Gotham. Until he sees Tim.

Tim, who has - grown into such a smart, beautiful and sassy young man. Tim, who wears eyeliner, mascara and red lipstick. Tim, with acrilic nails as sharp as Catwoman's. Tim, with a perfume even more hypnotizing than Poison Ivy. Tim, lethal and beautiful. Tim, that makes JP's knees tremble as if he's a teenage virgin boy.

And it gets worse when they start working together. Huge news! Ofc JP had been called back because Tim refused to work with the bats anymore, and it's JP's duty to work with him and push him back to Babs (she does understand that Tim doesn't want to be close to the others, but she worries about Tim being alone, and doesn't want him going out without any support). And doing that is hell, because JP falls hard and deep for Tim.

JP is sure that he was completely whipped by the end of the third week working together. Maybe even sooner.

That's how Luke learns about it, since JP is awful at hiding his crushes. And Luke has the nerve to laugh, telling JP to ask Tim out as if Tim wasn't way out of JP's league! Does Luke enjoy seeing him suffering? JP thinks he will go crazy if he has to hear one more phrase about taking risks...

And yet JP follows Luke's advice: He asks Tim out.

He asks Tim out in a chat. A grupal chat. With Luke on it. And maybe he's hugging his cat George all the time while waiting for Tim to reply.

Against all logic, Tim says yes, and then texts JP on their private chat (the one that's supposed to be used for cases only), saying just one sentence:

"You're adorable, Jean-Paul."

For the record, the first date goes great. JP manages to get to third base, and Tim smirks smugly while murmuring "Puppy" on JP's ear, nails holding his long blonde hair to keep him in place: At Tim's mercy.

What's New Scooby-Doo?

So, yeah, long time no see you guys or read you, but after watching several videos of Simple Plan's last concert in my FY of Tiktok I couldn't help but get some energy out and post this Batfam idea out of my head.

Suppose Simple Plan comes to Gotham, for a concert, all with proper security and with special insurance that several artists get to be able to quietly do their concerts without risk or ups and downs.

All the brothers decide to go to the concert because they really don't usually go to these activities without some ulterior motive… and because it's Simple Plan. It really is a good band, why not?

But, Damian, being the youngest (I don't know, let's assume he's really no older than 7), refuses to go in normal clothes.

Thalia had gotten him a pair of Scooby Doo pajamas the last time she visited him, and he's been wearing them almost every day; because he's a dog and he loves dogs; and, to complete the game, Bruce managed to get all the Scooby Doo episodes for Damian to watch.

… unfortunately, the night of the concert is one of those nights that Damian ussually do his Scooby Doo's marathon.

And he already had a tantrum, because Damian doesn't usually have tantrums, when he noticed that Tim and Cass wanted to put a miniature band polo shirt on him.

Since it's almost time to go, and they don't want to be late, Dick and Jason simply put him in the car, put some sneakers on him and drive at full speed to the concert.

And that's when the magic happens.

During the concert, they start playing the intro of the series.

And, since he was quite down all night, Damian seems to cheer up and starts jumping all over the place, trying to watch the Scooby Doo videos on the screens.

Jason carries him on his shoulders, trying to prevent him from hurting himself jumping in such a crowded place, thanks to that a member of the Marketing staff manages to spot him (let's be honest, Jason did a great job, he has a respectable height, surpassing Bruce).

And when Dick and Tim least realize it, Damian is jumping on stage, singing and dancing the best he can while the band plays, Jason watching him from the sidelines. Cass, Duke and Steph recording the moment so they can share it with Bruce.

At the end of the night, Damian is completely knocked out in the back of the car, full of candy that some assistants gave him on the sly. With his costume full of confetti and, to everyone's great tranquility and misfortune, autographed by all the members of the band.

No one now knows how to tell Thalia that she should get a new pair of pajamas. At least if they want to keep the autographs on this one from being erased by wear and tear.

I like the idea of the family reading y/n's old diaries when they're becoming yandere and finding she had some yandere tendencies herself.

Everything thing is fine and normal until y/n's entries start bringing up her boyfriend. How much she loves him and how perfect he is. They kinda brush it off thinking that this is just a teenage girl's first love. Her writing conveys how ecstatic she is by the mere thought of him. She was smitten.

Then they come across multiple pages that are ripped out. The following entry after all the missing pages are a bit worrying and as they keep reading it only gets worse.

’I know I could be considered a bit obsessive, but I can’t help it. I think I’m doing a good job at hiding my feelings because everyone is acting normal.'

’I think I’m getting worse. I can’t go a day without seeing him and I start feeling anxious when he’s not around. I almost started crying because I thought I lost him when shopping. Yes, I know it’s not normal, but I don’t care. He’s all I want and need.’

‘Okay, I have a problem. I actually thought of ways to put a girl in the hospital after she kept flirting with him. He wasn’t reciprocating, proving that he was loyal since she was much better-looking than me. Thought it was not like that’s an achievement, but that’s not the point. I actually thought of hurting someone even trying to justify it by saying that she deserved what she got.'

'I’m actually starting to fear my strong feelings. The thought of him leaving me brings me such emotional distress that I think it adds to the reason why I should bring this up with my therapist. This is not only unhealthy but could become dangerous if I don’t do anything.’

Barbara gains a whole new perspective on y/n's relationship with her boyfriend. Whenever he was brought up there was a brightness in y/n's eyes that made her overlook that dark twinkle. She has seen them together recently and they seem normal, so she wonders if y/n's obsessive nature has weakened. Getting her hands on y/n's newer diary will no doubt have more information about that.

Tim is trying to figure out who the hell her boyfriend is. The name written on multiple pages sounds familiar and later learns that they actually have had a lot of classes together. So while looking into him, Tim is at least satisfied that y/n's obsession isn't a dumbass or anything. He'll do in-depth research on her boyfriend and try to find every little thing about him. Judging him very harshly despite not meeting or even remembering him.

Bruce is a bit weary about this. Okay yeah, him trying to force his daughter back into their lives isn't an ethical thing. But he's worried about where this could lead further down the line if unsupervised. So maybe it's best that he keeps a closer eye on her just in case she does end up doing something. Doesn't believe that she'll end up harming anyone, it's more of an excuse to justify what he's doing.

Dick is surprised by this revelation. He was expecting teenage angst from her diary but got this instead. He's not complaining or anything, it's very insightful. With how much y/n hypes up her boyfriend he can't wait to meet him. He probably digitally scanned every single page of her diary and might use it against y/n at some point only if he has to of course.

Damian might be the least surprised. Okay, that's a lie, he wasn't expecting that. If the family was caught stalking or anything yandere-ish and she was telling them off. He might say, "But it's okay when you do it?" Other than that he doesn't care. As long y/n's significant other doesn't get in his way of getting closer to y/n, then fine. He'll live with this.

I feel like Jason would be the most shocked by this. y/n isn't a young adult to him. Every time he looks at her he just sees a little kid that can't read for shit. Not some obsessive girl chasing some nerd. Whenever y/n is around, he watches her closely trying to figure out what she's thinking. It's just bizarre knowing that y/n, the one who doesn't like punching villains too hard, has thought of hurting one of her classmates.

At the end of the day, they might not do much until y/n's boyfriend starts going insane. Some family members might enable it more than others. At the same time, others will use y/n's unhealthy love against her when she confronts their yandere behavior.

I don't know, just thought it was a fun idea.

so i feel like general backstory for this would be maybe you being taken in after the loss of your family. like some sorta wild ass adoption like in my little moon oneshot.

Bruce...

...was definitely kind of surprised the first few times you'd followed him around everywhere. He couldn't quite figure out how someone a little younger than Damian's age was able to find him so curious, following him around with just those adorable big round eyes full of admiration.

He finds you just about everywhere he goes. When he's walking around Wayne manor, he spots you hiding behind a corner just watching him.

He starts getting concerned when he even sees you following after him on patrols as Batman, too.

But his attempts at telling you to stay at the Wayne estate with Alfred to be futile, as he sees you just learned to hide in plain sight.

So eventually he just gives up and makes sure you stay close when he's out and about. If he gets into a fight? He makes sure you stay up and out of reach as he takes care of business.

Jason...

...most definitely was mean to you at first. Didn't understand just what part of you thought he was someone that should be looked up to. He used to kill people, after all.

He doesn't think of himself as someone worth admiring because of the torture he was put through by the Joker. He thinks you should be looking up to someone like Dick or something.

But yet even when you follow him around no matter how often he's mean to you, he's surprised. He's surprised because he figured just being rude would turn you away.

But yet it didn't, and your still following him around like some sort of lost puppy. Like a lost puppy that was admiring him.

The look in your eyes when you think he does something cool takes him by surprise, too. He's not used to it, and he just usually scoffs and says "whatever" or something along those lines.

He does come to tolerate your presence after awhile. Maybe even welcome it, because your like a little light in the dark of his world. A little light he will do everything to make sure doesn't get snuffed out by the cruelty he knows all too well of.

He'll eventually give up on making sure you don't follow him on his patrols, too. He seriously doesn't want you to, because he doesn't want you to one day see him use lethal force [if he ever has to]. But yet, you keep following him.

So he just adapts around it. Just like Bruce, he makes sure you are up and away from the fights he's in so there is little to no chance of you getting hurt.

If your on a rooftop and he sees a villain coming towards you two? He's charging towards the criminal/villain and making sure the fight takes place on the ground. He does not want to let there be a chance you get injured.

After all, injury means chance of death. And he doesn't want to have to see you die.

So odds are, your probably sitting on the edge of some buildings rooftop, legs swaying over the edge as you just watch him do his thing, admiring him as always.

He'll tolerate your admiration and your view of him as a big brother/role model, as long as he has the means to keep you out of harms way.

Tim...

...definitely thought that you following him around everywhere was pretty adorable. After all, you were just a little kid. And he most definitely knew in an instant you looked up to him.

It just kind of boosted his confidence, y'know?

He is a little alarmed by you following him around when he's on patrol, he makes sure to instill into you that you are to not do that. But you probably don't listen, which results in him quite literally racing around Gotham trying to lose you so he can patrol without worrying your going to get hurt.

Has probably called Bruce to tattle on you being away from Wayne manor because you were following him, resulting in Batman suddenly appearing to forcefully bring you home.

This usually makes you upset, because all you want to do is see all the cool things Tim get's up to!

So he'd probably bring you gifts back to make up for it. Like maybe snacks, candy, or some cute little stuffed animals if you're a fan of them.

Dick...

...definitely just let that get to his ego. He always views himself as role-model, big brother material.

But he is very sweet to you, though. I can see him getting you small gifts from time to time, and if he finds something interesting on his patrols as Nightwing, I can see him bringing it back to show you.

Definitely likes to scare the shit out of you if you started following him on patrol. He'd go around a corner, and when you'd turn that corner and don't see him, you'd be super confused and then suddenly your screaming bloody murder because he'd appeared from behind you and just yelled in your ear.

If he's patrolling as Nightwing during the day and your walking to and from school/work? I can see him walking with you, talking to you about your day or the things he's seen on patrol so far. He'd take the detour for a little while to make sure you get to where you need to be, and safe all the while!

And the moment he's escorted you towards your destination, he'd ruffle your hair and tell you to let him know when you leave so he can come walk with you again before he leaves. [only after seeing you physically get inside and disappear from his line of sight of the building you'd been headed to.]

Cassandra...

...probably thought you were weird, at first. I mean, you were pretty much everywhere. At school, she'd see you just staring at her from within the crowds.

She'd see you whenever she had to visit Wayne manor, staring at her from around a corner, or attempting to hide at the top of the staircase.

She definitely did not nearly have a heart attack the first time she spotted you staring at her while she was on patrol. As far as she was aware that day, you didn't know about her Batgirl alter ego.

You did, of course. But she didn't know that. She was less surprised the next couple of times it happened, sometimes catching you from the corner of her eye when your walking somewhere in Gotham just stopping to look at her as she goes by.

She did eventually start thinking it was interesting that of everyone, you chose her to look up to. To view as a sort of big sister.

She gets used to it after awhile, but she doesn't really get why you look up to her that way.

Babs...

...most definitely thought it was the cutest thing in the world that you looked up to her when she found out.

She'd definitely tell you about all the cool things she'd found on patrol, or would send you random five [5] second clips of the different things she saw. Maybe even a few photos here and there.

If she was ever on patrol with someone else? You definitely bet your getting all the funny pictures if they ever had the misfortune of getting into embarrassing situations.

She'd definitely like to bring you to the different places she'd find on patrol. [if they weren't in the downright awful parts of Gotham]

She seems the type to let you babble about stuff you are interested in to her just so her patrols aren't so boring, because she'd probably be calling you on nights that it's super quiet with seeming to be a little too peaceful for her liking.

Stephanie...

...was, needless to say, definitely caught off guard.

She was most definitely pretty sure there were others in the bat family that would make better role models than her, but you'd always tell her that she was the coolest.

Definitely gave her a little confidence boost whenever you'd tell her why you looked up to her.

If you ever called her big sister/big sis, she hands down immediately would never let a thing happen to you. She'd never admit it, though. Not out loud, at least.

This is mostly because I can see her and Cassandra having that sort of relationship where they relentlessly tease the fuck out of each other. And if Cassandra ever learned that she would hands down be willing to bend a few over own moral rules to keep you safe?

She'd never hear the end of it.

If you were ever needing to be in any bad part of Gotham to walk back to Wayne manor, she'd always be right there to walk with you.

If she wasn't walking right next to you, she was following you from the rooftops of different buildings to make sure you were safe.

Never stopped thinking you were weird for looking up to her, never got used to it, either.

Damian...

...does genuinely not understand why you think he's so cool. Doesn't understand why you smile whenever he just tells you a story about something he did on patrol.

"Stop smiling at me," He'd tell you. "Stop staring at me." He'd also say.

He'd call you weird, and would get all grumpy whenever you'd just stay optimistic and continue admiring him.

If you start following him on his patrols? He's unintentionally started a game of chase because he's hopping rooftops and scaling down fire-escapes to try and outrun you so he can have his peace and quiet again.

It works for awhile, but eventually you start learning how to keep up with him really well so he just gives up after an hour.

He may seem like he hates it on the outside, but on the inside it's the highest form of compliment for him.

Eventually it's almost a form of "I Spy" for him, to try and spot you amongst his surroundings. Whether it be at school or on patrol. You're just about everywhere he is, almost 24/7.

Thinks your weird for looking up to him or viewing him as a big brother, but he secretly likes that you do.

Maybe this is a bit of a strange take but I don't really see anything wrong with Talia's parenting style. Like I know it's not good, but if we were to look at it from a different perspective that took into account cultural differences, then yeah, it makes sense for Talia to be hard on Damian.

Honestly it just looked like a more intense version of having immigrant parents. And as child of immigrants when I was reading it I was like, "Yeah, within the context of them being in an assassin murder cult and Talia being a woman, it makes sense for Talia to do all this."

So it all like starts when Talia's young and living it up. Everything is great, she's a princess, she's wealthy beyond belief, she has access to almost any resource possible, she's probably one of the best female fighters of her time. Like things are really looking good for Talia.

But in the back of her mind she has this inkling that no matter what she does she'll always just be second in command to her immortal father. But it's fine right? Because it will only be a matter of time before either Ra's dies or he realizes that Talia is a worthy heir. So Talia holds on to that belief no matter how much something in the back of her mind says that she'll always just be second in command.

But then all of a sudden Talia meets this guy, and he's different. He has these strange ideas of what a good world looks like, of how things should be done. And it's all very different from what Talia knows, from what she grew up with. But he's kind, he doesn't undermine Talia's skills and see's her as an equal. And he's so confident that he can change the world, together, with Talia. So she can't really help but to fall in love with this dude. And the best part is her father likes him.

So she and this dude end up in a whirlwind romance, and it's amazing. It's everything Talia's ever wanted. Because finally Talia has a chance to prove herself, sure she'll need his dude to help her get to where she wants to be, but she'll get there, and he'll make sure he helps Talia achieve her goals. And they're happy together, Talia's pregnant, they'll start a family together, and they'll change the world together.

When Talia tells him the good news, he's happy too, but then he says that Talia has to leave everything behind, everything she knows is wrong and none of it has any place in the new life they'll create together. And suddenly Talia realizes two things, that she must always be the one to push aside their desires and wants for the wants and desires of some man, and that she's tired of always being second.

But Talia has something, something small and growing, something that won't have to be second their whole life. That whatever Talia was never able to achieve, that whatever freedom Talia was never able to get, she'll make sure this small, growing child gets it. She'll make sure this child gets everything they ever want. So she says a small lie to protect this small growing child, because this child will be her legacy.

So Talia raises the child in secret, gives it every resource to become the best, raises it with a strict hand so he'll never falter or stumble, so he'll never accept anything less than first place. But as the boy grows Talia realizes that there is so much life in the boy, that his eyes spark with the same light it used to when Talia was young and in love. And Talia comes to the realization that this child would never be a continuation of her failed legacy, no this child should be free to forge his own legacy without being shackled to a dream that isn't his own.

So Talia lets the boy go to the only man she knows is kind, will see him as an equal, that will show him how a person can change the world. It hurts her to let the boy go, to let her legacy go across the ocean. But there is comfort in knowing that she raised the boy to accept nothing but the best, that the boy will never fumble of falter to achieve whatever he wants, because as much as the boy is his father's son, he is also her's.

Damian follows Seth as they leave the arena, and Seth is more than just a little interested in why.

*sighs* BDD, Sarah. BDD.

Seth's making his way backstage to go celebrate in his locker room when he's shoved up against the wall. He tries not to be interested in the arm at the back of his neck. "Hello, there," he snipes. "To what do I owe this pleasure? Or maybe I should say whom."

"Quick the bitch act," snarls - he thinks that's Damian's voice. Could be, based on the height of the arm.

"It's not an act, Priesty," he says. "It is you, right?" He wiggles around under the grip to look up. "Ah, look at that. I was right."

"Jesus, you never shut the fuck up," Damian growls. "Get the fuck in your room. We need to talk."

Seth rolls his eyes but pushes into the locker room leisurely, only to get shoved onto the couch with the door crashing shut behind Damian. "You here to paint me like one of your French girls?" Seth adjusts the belt around his waist a little better. "There."

Damian stares at him, mouth a bit ajar. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"Nothing," Seth says. "Back hurts, a little, from your boy's buckle bombs, but I figure that's fair."

Damian's mouth snaps shut. "You made me betray Finn," he says, expression dark and menacing in a way that should not intrigue Seth as much as it does. "Finn's now going to think I did that on purpose." He looms over Seth like a shadow.

Seth looks up at him and licks his lips. "Didn't you?"

Damian's hand shoots down and curls around Seth's throat as he presses a knee into Seth's gut. "I would never."

"Tonight you did," Seth singsongs, pressing up against Damian's hand. "You put your own priorities over the group." He licks his lips. "I know how that feels." He reaches up and pulls Damian down to him, stopping a breath away. "I know what it's like to want more than what they can give you."

There's a few heartbeats where Seth genuinely doesn't know what's going to happen next. Damian could crush his windpipe or drive a knee into his stomach, could let him go and walk away.

But, instead, he does what Seth had hoped, and crushes his mouth down against Seth in an aggressive attempt at a kiss. He can taste the sweat from the night on Damian's lips, the disappointment, the guilt. It's more familiar than he'd like. He grips at Damian's hips and pulls him down so he falls on Seth, a glorious weight that promises no good decisions.

Damian kisses with punishment, which Seth should have expected. Demanding and insistent and heated, with hands that scratch up Seth's chest and tangle in his hair to pull. He can't help the way he arches into it, the desire pooling in him like the blood in the bruises on his skin. He's hard enough in his ring gear that it's painful, and he reaches down to pull his dick out. They feel far past decorum.

"Oh, fuck no," Damian purrs. He grabs Seth's hands and pins them to the arm of the couch in one hand. Seth's vision blurs. "You wait until I tell you."

"Okay, then. You gonna bring out the punishment from the indies?" He tilts his head as Damian bites marks down his neck. "You gonna hurt me, Priesty?"

"Stop fucking calling me that," he mumbles against Seth's skin. "Christ alive, you really are as annoying as Finn said."

Seth laughs. "And Finn would definitely know." He'd like to get fucked raw, get railed into oblivion by someone he's been eying more than he'd like to admit but he knows they don't have the time. "You like the gear?" He asks. Damian's hands are fumbling with the tie on his gear pants.

"Lace is a nice touch," Damian mumbles. "Makes me forget I hate you a little." He uses his free hand to curl fingers into the lace and rip.

"Hey! Those are couture!"

"They were couture," Damian corrects. He shreds the pants at the inner seams and pushes the fabric away, diving down to wrap his mouth around Seth's cock without a second of warning.

"Holy shit," Seth says, grabbing at the couch cushion. "Jesus, warn a guy."

Damian peers at him from between his legs. "What, you thought I was down here not to blow you and finger bang you?"

Seth's eyes widen and he stares down at Damian. "Uh."

"Oh, now you stop talking," Damian says. "Look, I can leave."

"No!" Seth says. "No."

Damian raises an eyebrow. "Okay then. You lay back and be good for once in your goddamned life."

Seth can do what he's told when a blow job is involved.

Damian shifts Seth's hips so he can slide a finger between Seth's cheeks, tracing around his rim before leaning in to spit on his hole.

"Fuck," Seth moans, throwing his head back. "Fuck, Damian."

Damian flips him the bird, then slides the same finger a knuckle deep, sending sparks up Seth's spine.

It should be embarrassing, how loudly and desperately he whines and shifts. He wants to push down on Damian's finger, wants to push up into Damian's mouth. He can't move, though, can't do anything but feel it as Damian works his mouth and finger like a magician.

"I, Damian - god fucking damn it, I hate you so much."

Damian pulls off. "You're close, aren't you?" His smile is infuriating. "Knew it." He dives back down and, to his horror, Seth comes with a shout.

Damian pulls off and crooks his finger once more, sending a pang of overstimulation through Seth that makes his hips buck wildly.

The laugh that comes out of Damian is downright evil. "So goddamned easy."

Seth's mind is buzzing as Damian crawls over him and grabs his hair.

"You're gonna fuck my mouth, aren't you," Seth says, grinning. "I love the way you think."

Damian rolls his eyes and shoves his pants down, guiding his dick into Seth's mouth. It's salt and heat and sends Seth's head whirling. Damian's not as rough as Seth had expected him, but the words spilling from his mouth are utter filth.

"Make good use of that mouth of yours," Damian says, hands curled into Seth's hair. "Take it, you filthy son of a bitch."

Seth leans into it, gripping at Damian's thighs and doing his best to relax his throat and keep the suction. He thinks, if he wasn't so exhausted from the match, he could get hard again and maybe convince Damian to fuck him. But he's tired and older than he used to be, so he'll have to settle for this.

Damian uses his hair like a handle to move him where he wants him, and Seth loves it, loves the moment, loves the way he doesn't have control. He grips his fingertips around the belt still on his waist, tangles his fingers in the shredded fabric that used to be his pants, and wonders how he got so lucky to win his match and get to be here at once.

"Gonna - fuck, I'm -"

Seth drops his hand from the belt to reach up and give Damian a thumbs up, then his mouth is filled, hot and salty. He swallows, and inhales deeply through his nose as Damian pulls his dick from Seth's mouth and sits back on Seth's thighs.

"Jesus," Damian laughs. "You really are good at that, you know?"

Seth dabs at the corners of his mouth. "I do. Never had a complaint."

Damian's smile is cuter than Seth thinks should be allowed as he shakes his head. "I'm still coming for that," Damian says, backing off of Seth and tucking himself back in his pants. He nods toward the belt and stands. "You good?"

"Hell yeah," Seth says, sitting up and draping himself across the couch. "Great. Toss me a water, will you?"

Damian obliges, and Seth downs it in a few gulps. "Got another one in my fridge."

Damian waves it off. "I'm good." He nods to the belt again. "Next time you see me, though." He puts his hand on the door. "I'm taking that belt." He pulls the door open.

"Wait," Seth says. "Wait, you're gonna leave me here naked?" He gestures to the pink fabric draped around him. "You ripped my pants! And you're not gonna give me yours or anything?"

Damian turns back with a grin on his lips that Seth would kill to taste again. "Nope."

And he closes the door behind him, leaving Seth eager for their next encounter.

Oh my dear friend @angelicprincessjenna do I have one for you.

What is going on?

"He's waking up!"

"Finally"

"Thank goodness"

"Damian, how are you feeling?"

How do they know me?

"I'm... fine"

One person, black hair with white streaks furrowed his brow "You do recognize us right?"

What are these people going on about?

"No. This is our first encounter"

It went silent and Damian looked confused, these four men don't seem familiar. "Um... have any of you seen my father?" The man who was closest to Damian looked crestfallen at the news, but he managed to snap himself out of whatever was going through his head "Yeah, yeah, can you stand?"

"I believe so"

Damian got up and even though his League instincts told him to fight these people. Something seemed odd about it, plus father and Pennyworth would know if these four were bad. They wouldn't have let them in so close if they were evil.

Bruce lightened up when he saw Damian walk over "Damian, I'm glad to see you awake! I was just checking to see if everyone who we had fought was taken care of" Damian glanced at the four, they didn't seem fazed, Damian crossed his arms and looked back to Bruce. "I can assume that these four know your vigilante work?" "They always have" "That doesn't sound correct, how long have you known them?"

"You're acting as if you don't know them yourself"

Damian tilted his head, is he meant to know these four? "This is our first meeting, I would have attacked them without a thought but I thought with restraint. Why would you and Pennyworth let four people into the Manor anyways. Now can I have names?"

Bruce looked at the four in shock "Damian, you don't recognize them?" "Am I meant to?"

"These are your brothers, Dick, Jason, Tim and Duke. You were all on a mission before you got hit in the head and knocked out"

"Brothers..? Did you adopt more children behind my back? And why did you adopt them when they are clearly old enough to decide?"

"What... no no they were here before you, you've seen them a bazillion times"

"Unlikely, I would remember such a thing"

The one named Dick looked more hurt "That hit must have done more damage than we thought"

Something about how Dick looked made Damian feel a tug in his heart. "I don't know you four, should I?"

They all looked at Damian with pain written across their faces.

"Tt. Clearly knowing you four may be a mistake. You all look sentimental I rather not associate with people who could get in my way"

Damian glanced at Dick who looked like he was stabbed in the chest when Damian said that. Damian's heart fell at the expression he was seeing from him. "But... I-I suppose it isn't so bad if father decrees that you are adequate people" Dick's mood brightened at that. "Say, wanna hang out" "Hang out?" Jason scoffed "What you never heard of hanging out for fun?" If it wasn't for the weird connection that Damian might have with them, he would probably just stab Jason. Yet... his presence felt somewhat familiar... reminds him of the League somehow.

His supposed brothers have taken the time to find a way to help Damian remember them. It's been a few days, they all spoke to him on separate occasions and Damian had a pretty okay time talking with them. Damian hung out at the cave and watched the endless bottom, trying to rack through his brain for the four who he knows. The fact that whenever Dick got sad it somehow tugged at Damian, Jason reminds him of the League as for the other two... Tim felt like a thorn in his side at times, but it didn't seem to be so bad. Duke was fun to be around with and he liked talking about games.

Damian turned when footsteps made their way, it was Dick. "You... tell me, what is our relationship?" "Our relationship... well we're brothers, for a long time I took care of you when Bruce was missing. I was your Batman" "My... Batman?" "Yeah, we were the best"

We were the best Richard

"Richard..."

"Yes, you remember my name!"

"What of the others?"

Dick... something in Damian said that he did something rather hurtful a few times, yet now just seeing him sad makes him second-guess himself.

"Well, you and Jason are pretty close at times. You and Tim used to fight a lot, but now you two have gotten much better. You and Duke have plenty of times of fun when you play games or talk about random things"

Jason... he had hurt him too.

Tim... something felt even worse when thinking on that.

Duke... had he hurt him too?

What did Damian do?

"Richard... am I a good brother?" "Yes, of course you are. You're just sometimes hard to talk to and that's fine" "I have hurt you all, one way or another I had hurt you" "No one said family was perfect"

"May we... do something together?"

Dick's face brightened and he grinned "Of course! What do you wanna do?" "We have video games, maybe we can all play?"

After over ten rounds of games, Damian had watched his "brothers" closely something felt very familiar and he felt happy. Even not by blood... maybe they are family.

Slowly yet surely did the memories return, being around his family was one of the best things he has felt. Not that he would admit it.

6. Tim dies (lol)

I just wanted to write about Tim dying and the batboys grieving about it in their own ways (or what I like to imagine is their way of grieving) so Tim gets shot as a civi and everyone sees it and the next chapters focus on a batboy.

Bruce - Bruce, for losing the boy who didn't have to find and save him, for losing the boy who he knows without a doubt would never leave him, the boy who was his son before he was officially his. He contemplates all his sons relationship here and starts drinking again, thinking about how disappointed Tim would be because *Really Bruce? You're doing this again?* But Bruce can't find his strength to let go of the intoxicating liquid, can't find the will to not let himself drink his lucidity away because the person who stopped it in the first place is gone. He keeps one thing, though. One thing Tim did his best to change. Bruce still keeps his punches soft as batman, and it hurts that Jason tells him that he never cared about Tim, he never loved him enough to lose his will to batman again. Truth be told, Jason, that all Bruce wants to do is let go of batman now, but batman is what Tim would've never let go of, so he doesn't stop even if he spends sunsets to mid-morning to stop fighting, even if his punches are so weak it doesn't do anything to criminals, and if once upon a time it was the criminals nearly being beaten to death, now is their payback and Bruce wishes he could find it in him to be strong again.

Dick - He’s holding on to hope. Death wasn’t a forever concept in Gotham. Proof? Bruce, Jason, Joker, Damian, so why would Tim be the exception? And Dick feels off about everything and he’s tired and stressed and then someone just touches him and all of a sudden he’s clinging to Tim’s coffin, crying about how that’s his little brother in there, telling people to give him back. Dick, the oldest brother, who once again lost another brother. He thinks about maybe Tim would come back to life- "and that's another person in the dead robin's club. Letting robin pass on was a fucking mistake" and basically starts overworking himself and ignoring people again, until he breaks because he has to physically lock the gun man up and he beats the gun man an inch or less to death and he feels guilty and he should be arrested but the police (his workmates) are like "it's ok. We got you. He was scum." Trying to hide it and Dick's even more disgusted at the fact that he's not punished for his mistake.

Jason - Jason thinks he's glad. Jason thinks he's glad that Tim's dead. Except he's not. Jason wanted to kill him, yes, but why now? *Why now?* when things were going fine, and everything is alright, and there was *hope* that everything would become better and shit won't hit the fan and- he thinks it's a punishment for being happy, he thinks it's the universe telling him that he should've never become happy with someone he tried to kill. Another robin dead in the club, and he lashes out in anger and people *try* to accept that it's not the truth but it's hard right now and everything *sucks* and it sucks even more because he's the only one who's stable enough to properly prepare a funeral with Alfred, and what absolutely guts him like a fish is how Alfred tenderly holds a picture of ‘Robin!Jason’ and tells him that it was Tim's prized possession, that he, Jason's Robin, was Tim's reason to be in this lifestyle. Through the miracle of the butterfly effect, Tim is now dead. Jason hates butterflies.

Damian - Damian. Damian's glad, so glad that he's dead. Drake has never been worthy of the mantle, or the company. Drake was never needed, because if Father waited a while longer he would have a more worthy robin by his side, also saving him from himself. The sting of a slap doesn't surprise him, no, it's the fact that it's from his own father that it does. "After he got shot for you, Damian?" And Bruce leaves with a stumble, Alfred not even sparing him a glance. It seems like the world's against Damian after the one thing he wished for finally came true. Drake was dead, and for the better. Damian was superior in every way. Except. Except Damian feels a strange longing. He finds himself looking for new photos to appear magically in the manor as always, except Pennyworth never hangs them up anymore, cradling the few left and cleaning them with such tender loving care. He finds listening carefully for the hum of punk music playing loudly in headphones, or the meticulous clicking of objects that Drake fancied, like a camera, or his laptop. He finds himself sniffing the air for the usual smell of coffee, only to be met with nothing. He finds himself...missing drake.

SPOILERS: Teen Justice Issue 2 Is Now Out (Finally) Part 2

Here's Part 1. Read it before this one cuz I'll only be talking about the second half of the comic

Deja Vu 3

The way Laurel (and Jess) would just drop everything and go help Talia, no questions asked is top tier Super Sons deja vu.

I will not stop comparing the two of them to Damian and Jon. I know they're two very different pairs but I can't stop thinking about what could've happened and what might have been if Jon didn't leave.

Talia was trained by both Batwoman AND the League of Assassins

This gets me thinking, what age did Talia leave the League to go live with her mother?

Cuz if I remember correctly, both in animated and in the comics, Damian wasn't trained by Bruce. (I'm not updated with ALL the comics). And he went on becoming Robin without his training. So if Talia met her mom at an earlier age (maybe 7 or 8), Batwoman may have given her a bit of training before putting her out on the field, regardless of her training with the LOA.

Either that, or it's referred that she's still currently training under her.

Klari's suspicion of Raven

Klari is suspicious of Raven. And I'm starting to think she wont be too fond of him till next issue (I'll say why later).

She doesn't trust him and I get that. That's been implied since the first issue when she said, "Sure, let's get excited when someone, who doesn't even likes us, shows up". And I think she thinks Raven didn't join cuz he just hates them, and not because he doesn't wanna hurt them cuz he knows people who get too close to him get hurt.

"Don't get misdirected by your team dynamics" What does that mean exactly? Does it mean Klari's instincts/powers are different from when she's alone and when she's with her team? Her powers start to really look like Raven's.

Laurel's powers

Few things

Laurel, sweetheart, you can see their bones. Of course they're dead.

That's possible? Is it in her X-Ray or her Heat Vision powers? How is it possible that Laurel can see people's auras? (That's Raven's job). And if she can see their auras, can she turn that on and off or can she see it inevitably?

The adults are dead, the kids turned into old people because their energies were taken from them...sound familiar?

His Undecided

I don't care what anyone says, Troy calling Raven his undecided is the cutest thing that's happened in this comic. Friend? Boyfriend? Nope, that's his undecided.

Troy, don't leave him unattended. Your undecided is picking fights. P.S. if you go into a bookstore with him, holding his hand ain't enough; tie a balloon to his wrist so you don't lose him.

Troy, please tell me you see him more than an emo boy. Please. He is so much more than that and if you actually mean that, I will slap you.

Raven...please tell me you understood the assignment.

Please tell me that you knew that this was just his way of protecting you and getting you out of there cuz he knew that if you didn't, something bad would happen to you and he wouldn't have been able to forgive himself for it.

Please tell me you knew that and you didn't think he actually hates you.

He loves him

You willingly waited 90 minutes to check? 90 minutes...damn.

And if it hasn't been implied yet, he loves him. With all his heart, he does. He will do anything for Donald Troy and nothing will stop him.

As you should know, I am obsessed with genderbent DC. And I make up headcanons about Teen Justice sometimes. One of which is their heights and ages, as I've said here

So here are my headcanons for their heights and ages. (I can't put the picture since I've reached my limit)

Klarienne: 12 yo (Appearance based) - 154 cm (5'1 ft)

Laurel: 12 yo - 170 cm (5'7 ft)

Talia: 15 yo - 156 cm (5'1 ft)

Jess: 16 yo - 166 cm (5'5 ft)

Raven: 16/17 yo - 170 cm (5'7 ft)

Donny: 17 yo - 178 cm (5'8 ft)

Jacqui: 17 yo - 168 cm (5'5 ft)

But then I remembered this pic existed:

I refuse to believe Jess is shorter than Talia. They're not. Even if Talia is wearing platform shoes, she's cannot be taller than Jess and Jacqui.

I'd also like to think Klari wears heels. She doesn't but I like to think she does. And Laurel, baby girl, you know flying wont make you taller, right?

So Laurel is taller than Talia, Talia and Klari are around the same height. Talia and Klari are the shortest ones. Raven is as tall as Donny but Donny is taller.

Also, the height difference between Jess and Donny in this picture is akrhlsicbwhfidve. Like wtf? That's got to be at least 2 feet.

Hey hey hey ik I'm like super early but what ab a ex batkid (who kinda got the jason Todd treatment) and is now hanging around/being taken in by killer croc, bane , riddler hcs please

Aka, people who have the most dad energy-

Killer Croc + Ex! Bat Kid:

- You fought Waylon as a Bat Kid but you weren't like the others who called him "Lizard Lips", "Ugly", "Scaly" and other childish taunts. You were gentle to him and you showed more compassion than the rest.

- I honestly think that even before your death, you hung out with Waylon a lot or at least tried to outside of fighting. You'd visit him in Arkham, you'd ask how he was doing that day, and scold other people who insulted him. He wasn't sure why but you just seemed to comfortable around him.

- That's why the news of your death was hard on him, because you were so young and so good, and yet you had to die. He respectfully tried to lay off crime after your death, mostly just stealing for necessity and committing a few acts of self-defense, but other than that, he did try to stop. In your honor.

- When he sees you again, he's shocked but he's also concerned as you stumble into the sewers afraid and scared, your old hero suit was tattered, and your eyes were wide and terrified. His first instinct is to take care of you and calm you before he interrogates you about what happened. You clutch onto him and cry and tell him your horrible story, how a mission went terribly wrong and you got trapped and your family didn't even bother to come back for you, that one moment you were dead and the next you weren't. Hes sympathetic and he validates you as he holds you and rocks you like a father would their child.

- Obviously you have beef with your family and while Waylon won't go out of his way to make them pay, since what's done is done, he will stop them from trying to force you to come home or try to deter them from bugging you. Hissing when Damian tries to justify to you what happened, knocking back Bruce when he tries to forcefully bring you back home, and everything.

- He does want you to reconcile with them but also, he thinks they should prove themselves worthy of a second chance because they literally left you to die, by accident or not.

- He also doesn't mind the new company you bring to his sewers and is pretty happy you make yourself at home right away. You hang up posters, you have a cool futon, he stole a few things like an electrical generator for lights for you (he's sorta accustomed to seeing in the dark) and you both do your best to make it home.

- If you wanna be a vigilante, thats fine. Croc knows you still have your streak of running into danger without thinking of yourself but know that he will protectively be with you and/or try to follow you around as best he can. He won't let you down and his biggest fear now is that he makes the same mistake as your other family.

- Will literally go feral if someone hurts you super badly you need to visit the hospital. Hes also there to comfort you when you think about what happened to you, he'll hug you and tell you it isn't your fault, he'll comfort you when you have nightmares. He also totally has a tendency to just nurse whatever injuries you have, he knows nothing about medicine but he'll try his damndest to be something of a family to you, because that's what you are to him.

Bane + Ex Batkid:

- He honestly probably tried to recruit you a lot when you two fought. Kinda like how Ra's admires Tim but less creepy and more parental. Whenever you two faced off as enemies, he didn't hold back but he voiced his admirance for you and your abilities.

- The little one is rather fierce no?

- But seriously Bane loves kids so much and when he heard about what happened to you, HE WAS SO READY TO BREAK THE BAT ALL OVER AGAIN. He had ONE job and it was to keep YOU safe and he failed. Bane makes it very clear to Bruce that it was him who should've died that day and not you.

- When you come back to Gotham, you know you can't just go back to your "family", not after what they did. So you go to the one person who you kinda considered a friend, and he was more than happy to take you in.

- Bane is an EXCELLENT mentor and parental figure. He not only hires the bests therapists or tries to find helpful ways of you coping with your whole "dying and coming back to life" situation, but he's geniunely concerned with the little things about you too. Are you eating enough? Are you sleeping enough?

- If you're not living with him and kinda are just hanging around, expect him to want to check in on you 24/7 or have his men keep their eyes on you and report back to him. Like if they tell him you're not eating enough and you go to your apartment or current place of residence, and there's Bane with some homemade food and he gives you a stern look and is all: "I know you've been skipping meals."

- Then you're left eating in your place as he scolds about the mess while picking up said mess and organizing things and you just smirk and roll your eyes.

- "Who knew the big bad Bane was such a clean freak?"

- "Or maybe it is just because you are a slob, little one, this is why you should stay with me because it is not healthy for one so young to be without discipline and structure-"

- You contrast with his serious and stoic demeanor, being all care free and chill but he also senses that great pain within you. He used to feel that during is time in Peña Duro, that feeling of your father abandoning you and having to live with that pain and dissapointment. He had to fight for everything because no one fought for him, he'll be sure that you won't have to do the same.

- If you want to be a hero or anti-hero, fine, just promise that you'll tell him when you're hurt or that you need help. You've become more than a potential protégé for him, you've become something of a child.

- You and Scandal Savage complaining about your loving adopted father figure but beating the shit out of anyone else who bad mouths him-

- But yeah, no, when he sees Batman: IT WILL BE ON SIGHT and you and your former family may not see eye to eye but you all can't help but find it entertaining when the dads are fighting.

- He also doesn't mind you reconciling with your family but fair warning, just because you choose to forgive them, HE WON'T. The moment they come in, they can see that Bane's eyes behind his mask are following them as if saying: "You hurt them, I break your spine in half like a toothpick."

- Also if you suffer from nightmares or night terrors, I can totally see Bane doing his cute little fatherly assurance he did in Secret Six where he let's you lay on his lap and gently assures you nothing bad will happen to you as long as he's there to protect you.

The Riddler + Ex Bat Kid:

- Unlike Waylon and Bane, EDWARD HATED YOU MORE THAN THE REST OF THOSE COSTUMED BRATS. HELL, HE PROBABLY HATED YOU MORE THAN BATMAN.

- You were so snarky all the time, answering his riddles without having to look them up and teasingly saying: "Is that the best you've got?" Or the annoying way you would easily hack into his CAREFULLY created programs and systems and mess them up with your stupid memes and stuff. You didn't even call him The Riddler, you called him Eddie! LIKE, AT LEAST HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR HIM.

- However during your time together, he did grow quite fond of you. You were like him, he found out, the smartest of your family and not afraid to show it but you were kinda singled out because you were to insufferable to them with your big ego and your tendency to always remind them whose the cleverest out of this clever bunch. So when he heard news about you dying, he became sad.

- He missed the old taunts and the way you mocked him, when he committed crimes he half heartedly wished you'd show up again and call him Eddie and then he'd lecture you on respecting your elders only to be painfully reminded that you were no longer around. He became even more cruel to Batman in his traps and mazes, after all, he let a brilliant mind slip out of this world.

- Yet when you break into one of his bases, casually mock him as he enters the base to check out what triggered the security like nothing changed between you two, he once more feels that mix of frustration and endearment he always kinda had towards you.

- "Yeesh, you look older, Eddie."

- "And you look like you died and went through hell, kid."

- "Eh, something like that."

- You don't really live with Eddie, which he's fine with, he doesn't need a little annoying brat like you poking around his place but he also isn't opposed to when you break in and make yourself at home in there either.

- He can't protect you from Batman or your family if they try to track you down, not with his noodle arms, but he can help you make it harder for them to track down. Not that you'd need much of his help, you're sharp on your own.

- Your ego, however, has actually kinda taken a blow. You were left for dead, even if on accident, and when you come back, they didn't seem to make a big deal out of it and it hurt. Edward understands this low self esteem and he tries to build it up again. So what? They don't know what they're missing! You're still smarter than them! You're still better than them! And you kinda thank him for it.

- He does check in on you and scold you if you aren't taking care of yourself, which is redundant considering this is EDWARD NYGMA we are talking about here. So you two take it upon each other to try and keep each other on track. You're solving cases non stop, he shows up at your house with some take out and eats with you because he's knows you haven't been eating much.

- You find him asleep at his desk and you scoff and shake your head as you carry him to bed and then you doodle on his plans a little, adding helpful notes while also low-key making sure they're insulting.

- "You should move the angle at least 67 degrees, any idiot can see that- Love, (Y/n)."

- Either way, you guys do help each other and do let each other live their lives, he's not gonna dictate what you do and play parent, but he is at least gonna make sure you don't die again. Whether its literal or a reference to the fact you neglect yourself as much as him.

Once again got all intense about how annoying Ra'sTim haters are. I'm remembering that time on Twitter not long ago when they were calling Ra'sTim i*cest... Yeah I know, Twitter is hell, but come on! 😭

I think it's particularly funny because Ra's is a man who reduces his family to his blood ties and even then he is picky. He *will* disown his children (not hurt them! Do not confuse it!) if he considers he has been betrayed so the proposition that he would see Tim as family... And that Tim would see Ra's as family! It's just so funny to me. Tell me you don't read comics without telling me you don't read comics.

I believe Tim and Ra's (before properly interacting) used to see each other as villain and hero. Period. Tim studies Batman's villains and cases so for him Ra's is synonym of bad guy, extremely dangerous, probably best if avoided. Ra's keeps an eye in all the bats, so Tim (still Robin) is a threat too: awfully loyal to the Batman, highly trained, more likely will provoke lots of damage and won't die. And that's mostly it, until Ra's is forced to meet the bats more frequently due to Damian going to live with Bruce. Ra's is more aware of Tim's abilities, and Tim is more aware of the danger Ra's represents, which I think explains why their meetings go as they do.

I don't think Ra's labels Tim as Damian's brother, but he might label Tim as Bruce's son. Which doesn't mean that makes Ra's *feel* like he's related to Tim, and similarly, Tim labels Ra's as Damian's grandfather, but nothing to him. There's no familiar tie between them, nor is their dynamic close to that, so I do wonder why people look at Ra's saying he wants a heir with Tim's blood and think that's familiar and not low-key homoerotic.

I get it if people dislike Ra'sTim due to the "dark" elements (tho I consider them very tame if compared to ships as Hannigram for example) but there's nothing on them that makes it "i*cest" so I do get mad when people accuse them of so. Particularly when it's the fans of certain Ra's' child and her ship who do so, as if Ra'sTim fandom doesn't actually treat her better than gen fans. Hell, Ra'sTim fics always lean in portraying her nicely, erasing the awkward comic canon and allowing her to have her classical bond with Damian. I have even seen certain tendency to ship her with Bruce (tho yes I admit most fandom goes with BatCat, myself included). So the fact that they have this need of hating Ra'sTim is annoying, because Ra'sTim is NOT the fandom treating their fav poorly nor doing anything wrong.

It's awful that we aren't allowed to like Ra's as his own character, that we aren't allowed to speak freely of the interesting elements of shipping him with MEN. Exploring a queer, individual Ra's al Ghul has taught me a lot about storytelling. Exploring an scenario where he falls in love with someone who contrasts with him the way Tim does has made me realize that fanfiction can be more than "I disliked the ending" and that you can write your own opinions on characters that sometimes other people share. It has been amazing and I adore it.

So what I'm trying to say is... People should stop being these loud, violent haters. There's no need for this. Why can't people let others enjoy themselves?
