horrifyingly angsty fic idea (!!crooked kingdom spoilers!!)

spoilers under the cut

that line "the way you let my mother live" but he actually does. van eck breaks wylans mind and then sticks him at saint hilde. the plan still works out because kaz always has a backup plan, but van eck tells them he killed wylan after getting the plan out of him and the crows think they lost wylan as well as matthias.

kaz knew from the beginning but doesn't try to get him out because he truly believes that it is the best place for wylan to be bc of the state he's in. he goes to visit him every so often to make sure he's being treated well but also because he feels immensely guilty, the same way he blamed himself for jordie's death. he curses himself for feeling that way because he hates admitting that he felt anything for his crows. the truth is that kaz really liked how wylan's stubbornness bled into his hope and the way he refused to let the world beat the goodness out of him but kaz couldn't save him from it forever bc now wylan is stuck in a room with all the life sucked out of him.

meanwhile jesper thinks wylan is dead and is not only completely stricken with grief, but also loneliness. matthias is dead, nina left for ravka, inej is off at sea and the only crows left are kaz and jesper and jesper obviously can't seek any comfort from kaz because... kaz. the other dregs are still his friends ofc but like they just don't understand. they didn't know wylan. and he's lost friends and even lovers before, but this is different because wylan had made him believe they had a better chance and that people could be good but jesper's hope died with wylan.

of course jesper eventually finds out, and is furious with kaz for not telling him. kaz has kept him in the dark before but never about something like THIS. kaz admits that he didn't tell jesper because he thought he was being merciful and feels like he himself would be better off thinking wylan was dead instead of this empty husk of a boy that haunts him just like jordie does. jesper is angry and confused because ??? since when is kaz brekker merciful??

he doesn't know if he can forgive kaz for this so he goes to visit wylan and ofc he's horrified and wants to stick a bullet in his father but mostly he's just unbelievably happy to see him alive and breathing. slowly they work on getting wylan back. it's not easy or linear but it's worth it, even if he may never fully return back to his old self agian. it takes jesper awhile to repair his friendship with kaz but eventually wylan is the one who convinces him that kaz really didn't mean to hurt him and he's sorry. they get wylan and his mom tf outta there and they live happily ever after. the end.

BONUS: the night before the big auction, nina is thinking about how things are gonna change after this and for a brief moment has an intrusive thought: if one of us had to die, i would rather it be wylan. immediately she's horrified at herself. she loves wylan. he's been nothing but kind to her since the day they met. she can picture his sweet eyes turning sad and dejected if he ever heard her say that. then after he "dies", she's freaked out that maybe this was some kind of manifestation of her new death powers and matthias isn't even there to reassure her. the guilt haunts her for the rest of her life, even after she finds out wylan is alive. thanks for reading ;)

“Care to join me for sake?” you casually slip beside him, matching his pace as he strolls downtown.

He accommodates you readily, grateful for your boldness and company on a lonely evening—the calm before the storm. He’s there to slay a demon, after all.

“I do not often drink,” he smiles brightly, “But I would certainly drink with you!”

His gaze glimmers only with curiosity and eagerness. You are not prey.

Of course you aren’t prey. He is. You have no idea, mostly shocked and reeling that he actually accepted your—a mere passerby—invitation, but he takes to you instantly. It really is fate, so unsympathetic and humorless.

He shifts his weight onto his other leg.

“You just don’t love anyone. You just don’t love me.”

He exhales frustratedly.

“Oh don’t give me that crap! I’m having a one sided conversation here. Don’t fucking act like you’re heartbroken.”

Heartbroken? He swallows nervously, and looks at you. Really, deeply, looks at you.

There it is.

The crack in your stare that wasn’t there before. I broke your heart? he flounders inwardly, panicked, anxious Let me fix this — an unyielding surface to anyone else observing him. To you.

“I’m tired, Sanemi,” your voice wobbles.

Let me fix this he strains, tries, fails to overcome the coiling in his gut.

“Tell me you love me,” you whimper, “Tell me you love me too.”

I love you he chokes as your eyes glisten wetly Let me fix this.

“Not even for me, huh,” you murmur, hoarse laughter vibrating cruelly, “You won’t ever change.”

You turn.

And walk away.

You pause. Glance at his shrinking figure.

“Giyuu, can we not do this now? Here? It’s freezing.”

His haori settles itself over your shoulders in a heartbeat.

“You can’t keep doing that,” you mumble.

“Doing what?” he taunts you.

“Nothing?” he steps closer to you, “I’m doing nothing?” his eyes narrow, glinting edges of sapphire, “You’re the only person I’d do anything for.”

You scoff, tone laden with something so bitter that you both flinch, “I’m glad you’ve been eating my favorite meals with your dirty little secrets.”

“That isn’t fai-”

“You know what isn’t fair?” you interrupt him, seething, “What isn’t fair is discovering you’re already in love. With three other women! Three other woman, who, apparently, are worth your honesty. So what does that make me? I’m not close minded, Tengen, but you lied to me. You’ve made your bed. I hope it never warms you.”

“I love you,” he whispers. Surrenders.

“You don’t love me,” you laugh wryly, “You don’t even trust me,” you begin closing your front door, your vision of his distraught expression growing slimmer and slimmer, “Goodbye, Tengen.”

You slump to the floor, knees huddled into your chest, tears escaping one by one by—all at once. I could’ve loved them too you shudder, grief wracking through your ribcage If you’d just told me, if you’d just loved me from the start.

She’s lost Flora.

There is, Dani thinks with the forced calm of one already beginning to spiral, little cause to panic. The house is big, but it’s not that big--and Flora is a good kid. She’s not exactly prone to just wandering off. She certainly wouldn’t, say, vanish from sight and reappear somewhere unexpected, suddenly acting like she didn’t entirely remember the time in between.

That doesn’t sound like Flora at all.

She isn’t running, per se, from room to room. Running would suggest there is a problem to be handled, and if she starts thinking along those lines--if she starts obsessing about Flora’s distinctly off-putting way of gazing over her shoulder, of saying things just a little too odd to be hand-waved away, of looking at Dani as though she can see straight through her to the unease thrumming under the surface--well. That way lies nothing useful. Nothing at all.

“Have you seen Flora?” The kitchen had seemed a good bet. Here, after all, is Owen, puttering away over the ingredients for the evening’s meal, his mood somber as he uses the manor to avoid reflecting on his mother’s upcoming funeral. Here is Hannah, dutifully rearranging the china, pretending not to steal glances at Owen’s lanky frame every few seconds. That spot at the table is made for Flora, little legs hanging off the chair, brimming with questions--

But Flora isn’t there, and Owen is shaking his head.

“Not since lunch. Lost her, have you?”

No, she almost snaps. A count of three, a long-held breath; she smiles tightly, reminding herself that this is not Owen’s fault, nor Owen’s job. The children will be your responsibility alone, after all.

“She’s quick,” she says instead. Hannah purses her lips.

“Perhaps upstairs with Miles?”

She isn’t. Miles, bent over a book with a solemn expression, blinks up at her as though she’s dragged him by the shirt collar out of the actual wardrobe to Narnia.

“She asked me to color--what time is it?”

“Two,” Dani says, sparing the briefest glance for her watch. He shrugs.

“An hour ago, I think? I told her to ask Hannah.” A flash of concern crosses his face, a too-adult creasing of brow. “Was that wrong? I just wanted to finish my book--”

“It’s fine,” Dani assures him, ruffling his hair. Too-adult, his expression may be, but this is the most kid she’s seen Miles in days. The last thing she wants is to dissuade him from reading, or from the loose sprawl of his posture.

An hour, though. In the days since coming to Bly, Dani can’t remember twenty minutes passing without Flora turning up underfoot.

Outside, she thinks with another swell of barely-restrained panic. She’s outside. By the lake, probably, where Flora can so often be found keeping company with dolls and talismans and snatches of ethereal song.

It isn’t exactly a reassuring thought, particularly with summer rain sluicing down the windows, scattering over the roof like pellets. A storm, it isn’t, but an eight-year-old girl has no business wandering in weather like this.

You'd have loved it, at her age, Dani reminds herself. There’s nothing at all wrong with a little girl puddle-jumping for the sheer joy of it. Flora probably got bored, cooped up with a bunch of busy adults and her brother uninterested in playing games. She’s fine. She’s almost certainly fine.

An umbrella is waiting beside the door, still damp from Owen’s trip in before breakfast. Dani takes a breath, pops it open, steels herself for the brisk wind.

The grounds are gray, the puddles turning the grass to a squelchy mess beneath her shoes. She keeps her head up, her eyes carefully turned away from the puddles which sit like recklessly-dropped mirrors at every turn; if she so much as glances down and spots a flash of glasses, she’s not sure she’ll be able to keep her composure.

Flora is not by the lake, as it turns out. Nor the statue gardens. Nor the rose bushes. Flora is nowhere, she’s starting to think, and her mind is finally turning toward the worst--toward the depth of that lake, how easily a small girl might slip off the embankment and tumble headlong into its hungry waves without notice--when she remembers the greenhouse.

Jamie will help. The thought rises without warning, a solid patch of sunlight at the center of the storm. Jamie will help--because Jamie knows every corner of these grounds as well as her own hands. Jamie, who maybe doesn’t know Dani all that well, but didn’t seem to mind offering gentle reassurance, exchanging unexpectedly deep conversation on the couch...or Dani taking her hand in the dark. Jamie, who had said, Who the hell knew? Jamie, who had worn an expression a little like awe.

They haven’t had time to talk about it since, but even so. Even so, for Flora, Jamie is sure to--

She hesitates at the door, fist raised to knock. It feels foolish, rapping on the entry to a greenhouse like it’s Jamie’s own bedroom--but this is, she reasons, as close to Jamie’s home as she’s ever likely to get.

“Jamie, are you...”

“Here,” her voice comes from somewhere just out of sight. Dani takes a cautious step in out of the rain, jostling the umbrella and pulling it hastily shut. Best not to invite bad luck--she’s certainly already had her share.

“I’m looking for Flora,” she calls, feeling a bit silly. There’s so much going on in this room--plants and tables, pots and a variety of outdoor furniture draped with old blankets. Normally, Jamie is easy to spot amid the riot of greens and pinks, her hands busy coaxing seedlings to life. Today, Dani feels as though she’s tripped and fallen into a game of hide and seek.

“Don’t have to look far,” Jamie’s voice comes again--from behind the sofa, Dani thinks. “C’mere.”

“Miss Clayton!” Flora pipes up, and Dani feels the tension leave her body in a violent rush. Her hand grips the nearest table for support, her eyes closing in relief. “Come color with us”

“Come--sorry?” She can’t have heard right. Jamie? Jamie the gardener, putting aside work and temper to waste an afternoon on crayons?

Yes--yes, that appears to be exactly what Jamie is doing. Sprawled on her stomach, still dressed in her coveralls, she’s got a blue crayon in hand and a green one tucked behind her ear. She glances up as Dani steps nearer, a smile lighting her face.

“Kid came stumbling in out of the rain an hour ago. Expect she didn’t think to warn you in advance?”

“Sorry.” Flora offers a sheepish smile, sitting up quickly. “Are you very cross?”

“No, of course not.” Just going to need a minute to purge the image of finding you facedown in the goddamned lake, is all. “Next time, though, you’ll have to tell me you’re leaving the house alone. I need to know where you are at all times, Flora.”

She expects Jamie to scoff at this--to say, Ah, she was with me, she’s fine. Instead, Jamie stretches over to land a sharp flick on Flora’s upper arm.

“Rude to make Poppins worry. Look, she’s gone all pink.” She looks up at Dani, grinning. “Not a bad look, if we’re in the market for honesty.”

Dani suspects pink is the lightest shade she can manage, with Jamie gazing at her that way. It’s too easy, all of a sudden, to remember an unexpectedly soft hand under her own fingers, Jamie turning reflexively at the wrist to hold her back.

“I’m terribly sorry,” Flora says, a phrase Dani is starting to think is more Flora than even perfectly splendid. “Here--I was just about to do one of you!”

Jamie gestures with the blue crayon, a silent suggestion for Dani to sit beside her. “Might as well. Rain doesn’t look like it’s letting up anytime soon.” She lowers her voice, eyes fixed on Flora’s determined rummage through the crayon box. “Sorry about that, Poppins. Know she’s been unpredictable lately, didn’t like the idea of her stumping around in the cold. If I’d known you were worried--”

“It’s all right.” In truth, she’s glad Flora made her way out here. Growing more pleased by the moment with this development, really, as Jamie slides a blank sheet of paper in front of her and presses a purple crayon into her hand.

“Join us. We’re doing portraiture.”

“I can see that,” Dani laughs. Jamie’s handiwork speaks of a distinct lack of care for detail--each sketch on her page is, at best, a stick figure with a single defining feature. “How does Owen hold up his head, carrying a mustache the size of his torso?”

“With minimal decorum,” Jamie says, grinning. “And she’s right, it’s your turn.”

Dani suspects she’s going less pink, more a volatile shade of maroon, with both parties squinting at her face, their papers, her face again. Flora is doing her very best work, taking several minutes just to select the closest shades of blue, yellow, pink. Jamie makes an enormous production of holding up a crayon, closing one eye, gauging proportions--and then, cheerfully, scrawling a figure identical to the other four already on the page.

“I’m taller than Hannah?” Dani asks, unable to resist a giggle. Jamie frowns.

“Ah, you’re...standin’ on a crate.” She adds a box beneath Dani’s non-existent feet with a flourish, nodding. “There. It’s symbolic.”

“Of what?”

“I’ve ranked you all on how much I like you. Takin’ into account, of course, certain accusations pointed my way regarding mud and shiny floorboards.” Jamie winks. Dani finds herself gripping her crayon almost hard enough to hurt.

“You’re not drawing, Miss Clayton!” Flora observes. Dani glances away from Jamie’s smile--a difficult act only a few days ago, nearly impossible now--and clears her throat.

“Well. Maybe just until the rain stops.”

There are, she thinks as a comfortable quiet settles over the greenhouse, infinitely worse ways to spend her afternoon.

ATSUMU: oh my god… he would work at Lulu Lemon and also be a campus rep for the brand, he looks really good in the clothes ig,, 🙄his manager fucking hated him for the first month of working there because they put him on the floor thinking he would attract people with his athletic build and good looks but he was so judgmental towards the customers, they had to put him behind the cash register LMFAO😔😭, he’s still judgmental behind the counter about the colors people pick for things but he knows he has to stfu to keep the job.. when dudes check out and have anything longer than 5.5 inseam shorts he always mumbles under his breath about feeling bad for the dude’s girlfriend 💀

BOKUTO: ALSO a Lulu Lemon rep but more of a floor/customer service person lmfao, HE SELLS things like CRAZY, people just listen to him and his expertise when it comes to the apparel because he’s so enthusiastic about it and looks so good in it, he’s the type that has 5 million different random jobs here and there : I can see him working at the campus gym as an instructor or just someone who oversees the machine area, LMFAO he’s the one who organized recreational games and sometimes referees rec volleyball!! He loves it and people ask him for advice all the time. He also stands outside of hollister shirtless on Black Friday LAMAKISKSMS, He ALSO is sponsored by one of those companies that delivers snack packages directly to college dorms HE IS SO CUTE PLEASE

SUNA: He has a job at his college campus’ library! He literally loves it because he doesn’t really have to talk to anyone besides the elderly ladies who work with him and the occasional lost underclassman, and he can do his homework on the job. Girls go to the library that he works at specifically to stare at him, and the twins come in to annoy him often too (that’s the only way they would be in a library setting) GIRL he has to KICK them out for being so loud god. He also gets the occasional offer from the campus’ student ran fashion magazine to model but he’s too embarrassed and knows he would get absolutely CLOWNED if he accepted🥺. He also ubers on the weekends sometimes and he as a 5 rating because he’s hot and never makes weird conversation with his passengers

FUTAKUCHI: MAN he would work at the mall at one of those hair kiosks LMFAOO Listen, he’s honestly the perfect person for the job because he’s pushy, confident, and h*t… when people would usually object on getting their hair done by some random at the mall, they usually say yes to him because…. Its him ugh I hate him ALSO HE’S ONE OF THOSE SKETCHY PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK THAT SELLS SCAM BEAUTY PRODUCTS (“hey girly,” PLEASEMDMF)

OSAMU: He would work a typical bus boy job in college tbh, you usually have the start from the bottom in the restaurant business and he likes the fact that the hours are pretty flexible, and that he can show up hungover as fuck and still do an okay job. Occasionally his friends will pay him to cook a meal for them, or bake something that they can impress a girl with (sometimes he purposely burns the baked goods 😭LMFAMDM) Works late a lot of times and you can catch him downtown in the parking lot scarfing down his dinner at 2 am

SHIRABU: I have no idea why this one was so obvious to me but he 100% works at a Starbucks on campus lmao, his pre-med self is just always stressed and needs coffee to stay awake, and honestly he kind of enjoys being a cunt to all the students he encounters as an outlet for his frustration (sir…💀), He’s constantly screaming at Goshiki behind the counter, and he honestly doesn’t have the patience for any Karens or those girls who complain about their order because they ordered something they didn’t mean to. He’s genuine and friendly to his regulars though and if you tip he’ll put an extra shot of espresso in your order😙

KUROO: Also another obvious one for me, he’s giving me paid lab member by day, bar tender by night vibes from a million miles away. He honestly gets offered the job in the lab because of his grades and immense understanding of chemistry in his classes and labs, and he loves it!! God.. he’s really so nerdy and you can’t tell me this man doesn’t get published multiple times in academic papers bc he DOES! The lab is great and everything but he’s only there for a few hours per week, so he seeks out a nightlife job at a bar, let me tell you that’s where he cashes out,,, 🤑 like he gets tipped really well because he’s good at conversation while not being creepy, he’s HOT as FUCK, and he makes the drinks actually strong. Truly everyone and their mom’s favorite bartender !

ARAN: THIS MAN,,, he’s so photogenic and good looking there’s not doubt in my mind that he would be an influencer on campus (Atsumu really wishes he was him lmfao💀), he has ALL the sponsors and also a huge social media following. Fashion nova men, skincare brands, athletic programs, he has so many sponsors and basically most of his Instagram is payed placement , He also promotes a lot of campus merch and bars!! Like there are definitely pics of him popping bottles with his boys on his insta and he looks so good please😈

SEMI: he would work at a piercing or tattoo salon, and honestly it happens unintentionally ?? He went in for a tattoo and he was looking at the jewelry on display and was like??? this would be so cool to be able to pierce someone!! SO he apprenticed with a worker and had a lot of his friends who wanted piercings come in for practice, also he’s the type of dude that is great at calming/reassuring people who are nervous or anxious before getting a piercing or tat, loves to play his guitar quietly in the background when he’s not busy helping a client🥰 also volunteers at the animal shelter a few times a month bc he loves animals 🥺

SAKUSA: this one is making me laugh because he would definitely work a teleprompter job thinking it would be fine since he doesn’t have to touch or interact with anyone but he ends up hating it because of how rude the people are 💀😭 he somehow gets stuck with the most obnoxious and rude clients he really can’t take it, (the way he has to repeat himself forty times... no) he brings a huge thermos of coffee to the office when he has to work and he leaves with a huge headache every time

ok yes, so what about: basically TMT don't harass Alastair and accept his apology, and realize they were also being stupid and mean at times at the Academy (especially Math). Matthew doesn't want to accept Alastair's apology, because of The Sin, but his behaviour alerts the rest of TMT and they inquire what's wrong and he tells them about the sin and that's how he later tells his parents (because his friends encourage him) and as you say, she just hugs him and reassures him it's not his fault; so after that Matthew slowly begins to heal and accepts it wasn't Alastair's fault, and also since they've kind of adopted/started including Alastair in things, he can't help but notice he's actually changed and he even starts to grow fond of him

then like you said, Matthew notices Thomas likes Alastair PLEASE HE SO WOULD. I'm not sure about the Sanctuary, if it actually happens (I'll get to why later on), but him and Lucie get really invested in the matchmaking schemes, they include Genie/Kamala because these two are friends with Alastair (both? Or at this point only Kamala?) but they also share some Moments during their scheming/talking about love 👀 (yes I'm a Fairdale shipper, I think it's time to expose myself lol)

Which leads me to (sorry I'm going off order rn) YES YES YES LUCIE AND MATH PLEASE. A FELLOW SHIPPER, HELLO, NICE TO MEET YOU. But since we're actually fixing him then we can give Jesse a personality and I'm totally down for poly Math/Lucie/Jesse

if that was the case, the serial killer plot could still happen, but be done better. and it would allow for a scenario I talked about with @littlx-songbxrd to happen, where it's Alastair who's falsely accused of murder. It creates a great opportunity to explore some things, because we know Alastair is much more likely to be seriously suspected, considering all the prejudices and bad rep his family has and all that

...what do you say to well-written Jordelia? 👀 Cordelia hasn't been obsessively in love with James since childhood, she only had a crush then. And now that they meet again, she's fond of him but not in love, not straight away. They're both grown up, and different people, but as they spend more and more time together, they fall in love. What if Cordelia gets to flirt with some other boys first? What then. What if she ends up choosing James, instead of going for the only boy she's ever had feelings for and idealized since childhood. What if we even make it friends-to-lovers and have James be a little jealous at some point?! but not in a possessive awful way, just "oh damn oh no"

A/N: Finally back with some content yaaay! It’s 8am and I have yet to go to bed...but I could go on and on about atsumu, he’s such an interesting character.

This was a request, but I accidentally deleted it, so I’m posting it separately. 🥺

Feedback is appreciated!

His communication skills suck at the beginning of the relationship. I mean, he does like communicating his feeling to other people, but most of the time he’s just talking out of his ass with little to no consideration for the other person’s feelings. It takes him seeking out Alan and/or Kita for relationship advice to realize that behaving like a pubescent fuck-boy won’t get him anywhere in a serious relationship. I say this with young adult Atsumu in my mind, shortly after graduating, at the beginning of his pro career etc.

Because it’s a bit different for adult Atsumu. Adultsumu is aware of everything I mentioned in the bullet point above, he’s still a fool, but more considerate of other’s feelings. Still can’t communicate with his partner properly, because he knows his words are sometimes too blunt, he knows that if he’s being too blunt and his words come out sounding mean he could seriously hurt your feelings.

Atsumu usually isn’t a very forgetful person, but when he’s super busy or has a lot on his mind that can change. He absolutely forgot about the date you two had planned, or the thing you asked him to get on his way home. He always feels extremely bad once he remembers or is being reminded, and tries his best to make it up to you.

You could probably ask for anything, he’d do everything to make up for being neglectful. He knows he can be an ignorant idiot from time to time, that why he tries extra hard to make up for a forgotten date or anniversary. He would never tell you, but he’s actually afraid of losing you over something like that, because he knows that volleyball takes up the biggest part of his life, but he still tries very much to be a good boyfriend and not neglect you.

He doesn’t expect you to, but he’d be super happy, if he found you awake and waiting for him, on days he would come home late. If you weren’t too tired you’d sit down in the kitchen together, talking about how your day went while he warms up leftover food in the microwave or makes some tea. On days you would feel too tired to stay up any longer, he’d take you to bed, join you under the covers and tell you about his day with a soft smile on his lips while holding you close and stroking your hair. (doesn’t that sound amazing)

It’s not a secret that Atsumu loves getting on other people’s nerves, especially the ones closest to him, and it’s no different with you. He constantly teases you and tries provoking you with that shit eating grin sitting on his lips. He draws the line at jokes involving your insecurities, though. At least he tries to, because from time to time he may accidentally overstep your boundaries, he just can’t keep his mouth shut. He may be a blunt shit at times, but he’s not cruel, especially not to you. Maybe a bit. Sometimes.

Contrary to his wannabe-smug-fuckboy side is a side of his you’ll get to experience the more comfortable Atsumu grows in your relationship, Softsumu It doesn’t happen every day, and it definitely doesn’t show when people (aside from his brother) are around, but when he goes into soft boy mode it’s like a switch has been flipped.

Softsumu just hits differently. It often shows when the two of you spend time together after not having seen each other in a while or when he feels down, or exhausted. Coming up to you for a hug every so often, kissing your temples, playing with your hair and you hands, he just can’t get enough of you. Return his affection when he’s in that kind of mood and you’ll make him the happiest man alive. He may not outright say it, because it’s a little embarrassing, but he loves receiving your affection. bc sometimes he’s like ew affection I don’t need that soppy shit but he does

He likes taking baths together. It’s pillow talk of some sort, but bathtub talk. Until you look like raisins.

You’ll have to show him how you want to be treated by him. Atsumu used to be an egoistic and a pretty damn cocky person, just a frigging brat in general, and while he changed a lot, for the better, after starting his volleyball career, he still has problems reading others feelings/behavior from time to time. It’s not that he doesn’t care about other people, he certainly does, but Atsumu mistakenly assumes that the people around him express their feelings the way he does, that they want and need what he wants and needs. Does that make sense? Also, he’s just really awkward around you in the beginning and has no clue how to treat you right.

Not really the jealous type. Okay, maybe a bit jealous from time to time. And he sometimes has phases where he feels particularly insecure, and vulnerable. When one of those phases hit him he gets a bit clingier, and jealous, when he thinks you’re giving somebody more attention than him. It really comes down to him being afraid of not being good enough for you, as in not being there enough for you or not being able to fulfill you wants and needs properly. Such a phase doesn’t last very long, though, and after you give him reassurance and some affection he’ll be back to his confident, idiotic self in no time.

Atsumu had a short temper when he was younger, I imagine that he gets more patient with time and experience, but the temper’s still there, you know? If you’re having an argument with him and it starts getting a little heated, he tries his best to stay calm. You will hear him sighing heavily and see him rubbing his temples a lot, he really does try, but in the end, he still gets frustrated rather quickly. Especially if you don’t get his point and he has to repeatedly explain something.

Really bad at apologizing, his pride is a little too strong. He quickly realizes when he made a mistake or is in the wrong, but he has a hard time coming forward and admitting his wrongdoing.

When he’s really mad he’ll either leave and not come back until he cooled down, or try to give you the cold shoulder. Both methods work semi-well, because he can’t stay mad at you for long, he’s pretty stubborn though, so the argument will come up again until you resolve it.

Catch him huffing and muttering mean remarks under his breath when he’s mad at you for something minor, or something that isn’t even worth mentioning, because he’s the only one that thinks you did something wrong, and also a petty little shit.

Loves you A LOT. All the way. And he likes showing you exactly how much he loves you, in private as well as in public.

That being said, Atsumu has absolutely no problem PDA. He likes having an arm around you, and will gladly hold your hand while you’re walking together.

He’s a very passionate, and wild lover. Sure, he doesn’t act inappropriately with you in public, but in private he’s a hands-on kind of guy. Literally. He has to have his hands on your body, not even in a sexual way. He just like knowing, feeling, that you’re there, beside him. That make sense?

Usually more of an outdoor dates kind of person, but if he’s feeling rather exhausted or socially spent, he would prefer a relaxing evening at home, preferably with you, watching movies or playing some games.

If you’re quite a bit shorter than him you bet he’ll use your shoulder or even your head as an armrest, and this action often comes with a teasing remark about your height.

Will put stuff, especially foods/snacks you love, on the top shelf. Because he thinks it’s funny watching you climb the kitchen counter like a monkey.

Absolutely loves giving you back hugs and resting his head on your shoulder or nuzzling his nose into your neck! Doesn’t happen that often, but it’s a sight to behold. He especially likes to do this when you’re going on about your day at home, or when it’s still early and you’re lying in bed together.

Hi, I’ve been questioning if I’m genderfluid on and off for some time now, and so I thought I’d ask for advice from someone who knows that they’re genderfluid

1. Before you knew for certain that you were genderfluid did you feel like there were possibly other people in your head besides you? Not in a dissociative identity disorder kind of way, but something else? (sorry for the bad wording there)

2. What were some more obscure signs you were genderfluid?

Part of the reason why I don’t want to say I’m genderfluid is bc I’m worried actually cis, and that I’m just pretending to be genderfluid due wanting to fit in w/ my friend who is trans/wanting to be more queer than I already am (I already know I’m somewhere on the bi+ spectrum), it’s a coping mechanism for my semi-not-good mental state. (sorry again for the bad wording), do you have any advice regarding this?

I'm always very happy to help, but as always, keep in mind that you are the only person who can say what your gender is, what will make you happiest, and what is the right choice for you. I can only speak from my own experience.

1. Oh boy, quite a question right off the bat. The answer is kind of, I guess. I've actually wondered if I had DID for a long time. I almost certainly don't, but it's definitely very easy to worry that you've confused the two.

It's sort of hard to answer because I don't know specifically what you mean, if not in a DID way. But I'm curious, so do elaborate if you'd like.

I am not a different person when I am a different gender, but it's possible to think of my gendered selves as "personas" in a way, so in that way, I suppose you could explain it like that.

I also engage in a lot of self-dialogue and self-reassurance, which often manifests in my thoughts being formed in a conversational way (including the pronouns you. And yeah, I feel a little weird about it this, but it doesn't seem to cause any issues). There's nothing that indicates that I feel that there is another enitre person on the ends of these mental conversations, let alone that the two ends are different genders. However I still have yet to understand a lot about my inner workings. Some may judge this as a disorder.

Finally, I think I have some identity-formation problems. Including the fact that I often feel like my mental understanding of how I present to people changes a lot. Not strictly in a gender way, nor in a DID way (at least I hope not). I just have trouble forming a stable image of "me", so sometimes it can feel like I'm different people.

2. Hmm, interesting. I'm sure there are many that I have yet to identify since they come with time.

When I was a child I remember having a minor fascination with having a male version of myself. I've found an old drawing of myself next to an imagining of a male version of myself.

Also, I imagine that if questioning is especially long and difficult, it could be a sign of fluidity. I say this because if you feel one way for a period of time and another way for another period of time, it can feel like these experiences contradict each other, and it's abysmally confusing. Like, why don't any of my feelings line up??? If I'm a man, shouldn't I feel like a man all the time? Yesterday I didn't feel that way.

Grain of salt: questioning can be long and confusing for anyone, and dysphoria can fluctuate even for gender-solid folks.

Also, there are some indicators of being trans in general.

For example, dissociative dysphoria is a less discussed manifestation of dysphoria in which you just don't feel real/your surroundings don't feel real.

Also, irrational avoidance. When I was younger, my sister used a lot of highly feminine pet names and terms of endearment, it was just her style. But being around her made me incredibly dysphoric because of these reminders of how she saw me. So eventually I came to associate her with those bad feelings, even though I had no explination for the feelings, since this was before I even knew of transness as a concpet. It took me a while after she stopped to realize Oh shit, that's what it was. Now we've been on much better terms for years.

Also, there are signs that can be indicators of any number of psychological distress (so they could be explained by other mental health issues) like extreme escapism, sleep issues and other depressive symptoms, dissociation, aggression, anxiety, avoidance of social situations, etc.

3. This is common. Firstly, nothing is stopping you from claiming a label. Absolutely nothing. Coming out to yourself doesn't mean you have to come out to others, transition, or take any other steps. So if you're wrong, so what? A label does no harm.

What can have the potential to do harm is transitioning unnecessarily. If you think it's a maladaptive coping mechanism, my only advice is to seek counseling before taking any steps that you think you might regret.

I've never heard of a person worrying that they want to be more queer than they actually are. And indeed I've never heard a detransitioner point to this as an issue. The only thing I could think of, is perhaps a sort of munchausen syndrome where you would theoretically try and gain """ oppression points.""" To be clear, I don't think this is very likely, but not impossible. In that case if it really worries you, I would again seek counseling, since that sounds like a symptom of a larger issue.

I've not quite cracked the nut of what if it's social pressure??? to be honest. And immitation is certainly a common trait among young people (assuming you're young). So, quite honestly, is it possible that you (and I) have tried on the trans label out of imitation of peers? Yeah.

I don't know if there's a solution to this (except of course counseling) other than careful trial and error. Trying on aspects of the male (or female) role and testing to see if it makes you uncomfortable or comfortable. Indeed, many aspects of social and sexual dimorphism can be very evocative of euphoria/dysphoria. Like, being called she/her might elicit relatively minor euphoria/dysphoria, but (cw: AFAB dysphoria) the idea of being vaginally penetrated? Yeah, most people will have a pretty strong reaction to that one (cw: end).

In short, sometimes these worries about "What if it's X?" don't always have an easy answer, and I don't think any trans person can solidly eliminate the question forever. I have a friend who's more than 2 years on T and still occasionally worries that he's secretly cis. But the fact that doubt lingers doesn't stop trans people from transitioning.

I want to be careful here to not seem like I'm saying that you should run right into transitioning with no caution. I just want to frame your doubts in perspective. If gender affirming steps feel uncomfortable, and you find yourself surrounded by doubts, then it's important to listen to that and take a step back. But if you're 90% certain that transition is right for you, but that 10% of doubt is scaring you away, try and put it in perspective. There's a 10% chance you'll regret transitioning, and 90% chance that you'll regret not transitioning. And sometimes only time and experience can close the gap between 90% and 99%.

1. Who can out-drink the other?

Deacon’s by no means a light weight, but Anthony’s got that patented Prewar Liver™ and some fancy Vault Tex nanites cleaning up his blood.That being said, they’ve never actually attempted to get drunk together; they’ve had a few beers together, sure, but they’re usually too busy or too antsy to get drunk.

2. Who says “i love you” more?

Deacon, and usually in private. They both know all too well that the Wasteland can take just about anything from you if you aren’t careful, but Deacon especially. After Barbara and working with the Railroad- the Switchboard- he wasn’t even expecting to get close to anyone like that again. Now, he won’t let himself take that for granted. They do pick up kind of a “code” when it comes to wanting to say it in public.

3. Who has trouble sleeping alone?

Anthony’s had issue with this since leaving the Vault. Not only was he used to sleeping next to someone, he was used to sleeping in a room with three other people.Travelling on his own is the only time it gets really bad. Nightmares come more often and, at its worst, insomnia. If he’s having a particularly bad day, he likes to tuck his head under Deacon’s chin and press his face into his shirt as if to reassure himself that there is another presence there.

4. Who swears more?

Deacon does. Anthony was usually in sight of a camera prewar so usually had to watch how he acted and what he said. He’s so used to it, that when he does swear, it catches him off guard a little. Always gets a good chuckle out of Deacon, too, who usually threatens with a swear jar.

5. Who does more of the housework?

Got me thinking of them settling down now oof.. I think it would end up being both of them pretty equally. Anthony did his own housework when he lived in his own apartment prewar and Deacon just doesn’t like Mess.

6. Who forgets their anniversary?

Deacon takes pride in being able to remember, well, a lot. Anthony insists he’s been around long enough that things tend to blur together. Deacon will tease Anthony about it on different days, but they don’t really take the whole ‘anniversary’ thing too seriously. What’s one day matter when the next could be your last in the Wasteland?

7. Who steals the duvet in their sleep?

Deacon, absolutely. Anthony’s always run pretty warm and doesn’t usually go for a blanket unless he’s sick or it’s actually cold out. When winter rolls around, it wouldn’t be uncommon to see Deacon wrapped up in whatever blanket he could find with Anthony all but draped over him.

8. Who keeps the other awake at night with their snoring?

Deacon will never admit it- and Anthony will never tell him- but he snores whenever he’s actually sound asleep. Anthony thinks it’s endearing, not to mention he lives for when Deacon gets some actual sleep. He’ll take watch all night if it means the poor man gets some rest.

9. Who finds stray animals and begs the other to let them keep them?

Anthony is, unfortunately, allergic to pet dander so Deacon knows better than to hold onto a stray dog or cat. That definitely didn’t stop him from presenting Anthony with a pristine Deathclaw egg and nearly killing him on the spot.

10. Who usually makes dinner?

They take turns! When they can remember whose turn it is, anyway. Sometimes it’s decided with some good ol’ fashion rock paper scissors. Neither of them are terrible cooks, but it’s always better than some of the prewar food left behind.

11. Who plays their music out loud?

Anthony carries around an Elvis holotape that he likes to play whenever he finds an intact holotape player. Otherwise, it’s not uncommon for him to end up humming a song that might’ve gotten stuck in his head when visiting say Diamond City. Deacon doesn’t mind. In fact, sometimes it helps lull him to sleep at night.

12. Who hogs the bathroom?

Listen, a man’s got to know just how well a disguise works. Deacon only hogs the mirror whenever he’s putting on a disguise and Anthony usually couldn’t care less. He likes to make sure his hair doesn't look absolutely disgusting, but he can usually get enough space to do that while Deacon’s changing. It has ended with an elbow to the ribs or stepping on feet in smaller bathrooms, but they end up with a good laugh if that’s the case.

13. Who gives the most compliments?

Oh, they’re obnoxious. They like to shoot increasingly dramatic or outrageous compliments at each other whenever they’re somewhere safe and around others. Especially at HQ. It grinds Carrington’s gears and they think it’s hilarious. The more sincere compliments are said only when it’s just the two of them. They’re said with soft smiles and gentle voices and they’re as sincere as could be do not attempt to fight me on this.

14. Who usually starts/causes arguments between them?

That definitely depends on the argument. They’re both generally pretty laid back dudes so not a lot gets them really heated like that. When they do argue it’s usually a brief, angry thing. They have to find separate corners of HQ or even go a couple days with radio silence before they come back together and apologize. It’s never words intended on hurting, it’s usually concerning the other’s well being.

15. Who isn’t afraid to embarrass the other in public?

Deacon is really good at that. He can do something completely asinine and still keep a straight face. His favorite thing is to say something incredibly specific and a reference to something only Anthony would understand in front of him and whoever he’s talking to. Anthony will embarrass unintentionally, usually by way of complimenting Deacon to someone else like Desdemona or Carrington while he’s in earshot.

16. Who gives the other cringe-worthy pet names?

File this under one of the things they do to get on Carrington’s nerves.’Stars’ and ‘Deeks’ are the go-to nicknames, but man can they get creative if they’re bored enough. Deacon leans towards the more outrageous, ‘that’s not even a real word’ names while Anthony will absolutely break out the prewar slang. If Carrington has to hear Deacon be called ‘one chrome-plated pussycat’ one more time, he’ll lose it.

17. Who fusses over the other when they get sick?

Anthony doesn’t get sick often at all, so when he does it’s usually pretty bad. The Vault Tec nanites in his blood can work to clean out his system, but that can mean Anthony’s body going comatose while they do their job. The first time that happened since coming back to the Commonwealth, he’d contracted Vault 81′s Molerat disease and given the cure to Austin. Deacon, who didn’t know much about his nanites at the time, was absolutely beside himself when Anthony suddenly just dropped.

18. Who finds it impossible to stay angry at the other for long?

They’re both, as mentioned, incredibly laid back about most things. Deacon can manage to stay ‘angry’ longer than Anthony, given the reason. Anthony’s attitude leans towards ‘I don’t know what’ll happen tomorrow, so let’s fix this before then’. Deacon has the potential to ‘stay angry’ longer simply because he can avoid and throw himself into work if he really wants to.

19. Who clings to the other for comfort when they’re sad or scared?

Anthony’s more likely to actively seek out comfort when he’s upset. He’ll end up in a funk for a day or two, realize he’s Upset, then go find Deacon and pull him away for a hug. Sometimes he can get away with just being near Deacon and listening to him just talk, other times he likes to be Held.

20. Who is more ‘physically passionate’? (hugs, kisses, or maybe more…)

Probablyyy Anthony, if only because Deacon’s more of a private guy so only displays affection when there aren’t any prying eyes. I like to think that eventually, in places they’re both comfortable, they’re more likely to be seen holding hands or lingering touches. In times of celebration, Anthony has the potential to get carried away and Scoop Deacon up into a big ol’ hug.

HIIII hope you have been well my dearest last airbender hehe. i have so much exciting things to share <333

so first off, i did two wish rolls the other night and guess what? on one roll i got BOTH bennett AND qiqi!!!!!! (the other one was just weapons but 🤷🏽‍♀️) i love them both so much i literally ascended them the second i got them. i still can’t believe my luck. so now my team looks like: traveller, noelle and those two. i’m having a little issue bc i don’t have a long range combat character but i love them all too much to change anything. which means i struggle sometimes maybe if i roll for someone else in the future i might change but rn i’m LOVING them. have you ever had luck like that?

this is a Weird one, bc all of the muses here are technically already dead, since this particular blog operates on the manga logic where the cat kingdom exists in the afterlife thinking emoji

however, you might say all of them are afraid of death to some degree, which is why they’re still hanging around in the cat kingdom instead of Moving On. for some of them it’s a legitimate fear of the unknown, but for others it’s more just. Having A Rest, or. in the case of lune, perhaps, bc it’s the only life they’ve ever known and they don’t yet see a reason to change it

the only one here probably near incapable of being rude or unfriendly is lune fjfkd;a

the cat king obviously has his rude, coarse streak, and natori, tho more often than not very affable and professional, can also on occasion be quite cool and standoffish, particularly if he’s not terribly fond of someone laughs

natoru is actually quite often rude, but she tends to get away with it bc she’s very skilled at playing The Fool and dressing it up as an inability to read the room or something similar. meanwhile, yuki is also very soft-spoken and kind, but bc of that, i think she’s very often mistaken for being much more open and sweet-natured than she actually is, when she actually frequently has natori’s cool aloofness in common with him

does your muse try really hard to compensate for something?

i’ll admit the first thing i thought of is the cat king’s. uh. lbr, general Attitude. something that transfers over from my headcanons on my RP blog is that he came to the throne without all of the proper training (albeit for different reasons depending on the blog/verse)

in both cases, having natori to lend him a guiding hand ended up being sort of a double-edged blade-- he definitely Needed that guidance, and particularly from someone as patient as natori, but it also quite often left him feeling incompetent, unskilled, and Stupid, and that probably fostered some resentment underneath it all 6_6 as well as a desire to prove himself Not Inadequate, which unfortunately often leads to him doing just that on impulse rip

there’s also natori’s spotty memory lmao it’s something pretty much everyone is aware of, and i just like the idea that in the same way he’s resigned to constantly asking servants to play along with the king’s impulsive whims, there also exists an unspoken agreement that they just kinda don’t draw attention to those days when he. Forgets very important facts

mannerisms that your muse has when they’re angry or sad

they’re. i mean they’re all cats, so they all probably exhibit body language typical of Annoyed Cats llfjfida;g

natoru in particular i like to think takes on very combative, defensive postures and stances, and the cat king is probably the very easiest creature to read in all of existence when he’s Nettled lmao

i may or may not be extremely amused by the idea of any of them slapping the shit out of something As Cats Do, but that’s only tangentially related. kinda. anYWAY, i will say also that i like the idea that natori in particular is prone to purring when he’s distressed or in pain, so that’s a thing i guess

as a generalization, natori and yuki tend to clam up and go very still when angry or sad, while the cat king and lune have more of a tendency to either Blow Up or seek reassurance/comfort. and then u have natoru who just wants to slap things and then flee

Another thing with the most recent ep that I haven't seen mentioned is that everyone was really flippant towards Nott about maybe finally having a way back to her body. "You're not gunna ask him about polymorph right when I give you the ruby are you?" Caleb refusing to even entertain the idea of asking about the spell bc he was caught up in his judgement of the situation, etc. Like, the solution was potentially Right There and it was being dismissed and Nott was being blown off

OKAY WELL I’m getting to this almost a week late, but I hope you’re still interested in an answer? I personally don’t believe the Nein actually dismissed Nott’s issues, though they didn’t handle it gracefully either. I think several people realized exactly what that spell might mean for her, but were both wary of its source and more focused on the immediate issues at hand (ie, getting out of the Happy Fun Ball alive, whole, and preferably with Yussah). In the end it was treated the way the Nein often deals with controversial personal wants, which is to say – briefly and harshly, and then better addressed once they have a chance to breathe (provided it comes up again, of course).

Caleb was really the main one who dealt with Halas’ “body-changing” spell and was most equipped to realize exactly what it means and potentially work on it, which he apparently has every intention of doing. However, at that time in the Happy Fun Ball, he was not… in a great state of mind, as many people have pointed out. He was stressed, tempted, and quite likely experiencing some sort of flare up from his trauma due to the circumstances. He was pretty snappy with everyone that episode, especially (almost entirely) regarding ruby-Halas and everything he’d made. He for once actually raised his voice at Nott AND Jester, though both largely ignored him. Since those two are arguably his biggest soft spots of the Nein… yeah, I think that’s pretty telling.

I think his refusal to entertain Nott’s interest at the time was panic more than anything else. Like. He borderline yelled at her just to get her away from it. He was reluctant to answer anyone’s questions or indulge in any speculation about it, instead just trying to force the Nein away from it. He basically shut down ANYTHING to do with Halas until he’d had some time to analyse it, the Nein displayed some caution, and they came up with a game plan.

All in all, Caleb, the best person to address Nott’s wants, was not in the frame of mind to do so, and neither was anyone else likely to when they were honestly just trying to survive. I mean, evidently Caduceus, Beau and Jester were all taking silent note of Caleb’s state of mind earlier in the Happy Fun Ball but didn’t address that either, at least until they felt they had to. They apparently did the same with Nott.

Some of the Nein seemed to realize exactly how tempting the body spell would be for Nott, and I personally believe that that comment about her not asking Halas about the spell was worry more than anything else. Flippantly disguised worry, maybe, but genuine concern about what Halas might say to her, or what she might be tempted to do, nevertheless. It honestly read very similarly to them being angry at Caleb for “being weird” and telling him not to “stare creepily” at things, which was ALSO a manifestation of their concern for HIS state of mind.

This just seems to be a problem the Mighty Nein have in general. They NOTICE each other’s issues and keep an eye out, but they’re reluctant to address them until those issues are immediately relevant or reaching a boiling point. Everyone knows Jester thinks the Gentleman is her dad and that she’s been wanting to see him in person, and yet they’ve yet to go seek him out even though they’ve come back to Zadash TWICE now, and Jester has had to finally reach out herself.

Caleb has had a couple times where he’s slipped into a very unhealthy mindset and minor downward spiral, but it either wasn’t really dealt with (see: immediately after the rift fight in the well where he got charmed. He was pretty fucked up/angry for a variety of reasons afterwards and was very quiet about it for the next episode, but by the time they had the whole confrontation with the Bright Queen at the end of the episode, he had a bunch of new shit to process) or was only dealt with when it became an immediate issue (see: the Happy Fun Ball) or he’s, again, brought it up himself.

Nott has had a similar pattern to Caleb, of entering a downward spiral that goes unaddressed in the midst of all the other problems they try to juggle (see: her the entirety of the Obann/Yasha arc when she had a hardcore identity crises) until she herself approaches someone or she manages to find her feet enough that she’s no longer in such a bad state. People HAVE approached Caleb and Nott on their issues, but not often and only by either each other or their respective second-best-BFFs (Beau and Jester, respectively).

And Fjord! He’s probably the one the Nein have done the best with so far, but honestly I think that’s because Fjord is the kind of person who needs to take the time to slowly work himself up to approaching others. But even so, during the pirate arc Beau and Caleb noticed that he was struggling, and their solution was silent support. Which, frankly, is the Mighty Nein’s default and while not the worst solution, it does mean that oftentimes issues are left indirectly addressed for a long, long time.

The fact of the matter is is that the Nein don’t do open discussion about each other’s issues unless they absolutely have to, and when they DO absolutely have to, it’s in a situation in which they can’t afford to address it with any delicacy at all. Otherwise, they tend to give each other space. Which, to be fair, has worked out okay so far. Their concern most often manifests in them going “haha you’re not turning evil, right Fjord? You do think of us as friends, right Caleb? Boy you guys are acting weird and we don’t love it! You know, maybe its for the best that you lost your flask, Nott… Also don’t ask about the body spell lol.”

They are getting better. I mean, Caleb talked about his issues to Caduceus AND Fjord! Unprompted! Neither of whom he’s had many deep conversations with! And the Nein as a group addressed both Nott AND Caleb’s issues, if not perfectly! AND Jester hesitantly reached out to Fjord for validation over her own goals!

Basically, actually talking to Nott at that time and in that place was not as urgent to the Nein as getting out alive. Which tends to be the case a lot. But as we saw, her temptations and the worry of Halas’ influence on her was addressed as soon as they got a chance to deal with Halas. Caleb did manage to briefly reassure her that even if he wasn’t a sure thing, he was a better option than a possibly psychotic necromancer, but even so it’s not like they’ve had an extended discussion about that particular goal. In the end Nott’s immediate reaction was sort of brushed over, though that was something of a necessity, if roughly handled.

This is a very long winded way of saying that, yes, while Nott’s issues weren’t treated as seriously as they could have been, they were dealt with (or rather, not dealt with) pretty typically for the Mighty Nein. But these messes ARE improving. Slowly. And I’m proud of them!

001. due to being homeless since she was a teenager, daisy had to be extremely careful with money. she mainly got her things (laptop, van, etc.) through bets, trades and favors, as well as stealing. she's still careful with money and rarely spends large amounts of money for things she doesn't absolutely need. it's something she bonded with fitz over from the early days of the team, both of them being from poor backgrounds. 002. being cut off from her powers is actually painful for daisy. she can constantly feel the vibrations around her and has grown used to it so to be cut off is akin to losing a limb for her and almost like a constant ache. 003. daisy uses her powers for a lot of little things. when she wakes up she takes a minute to feel the vibrations just to reassure herself that everything is real and she's not alone. as her powers grow she gets more in touch with the vibrations around her to the point she can hear / feel them with very little effort - eventually she learns how to recognise peoples unique frequency and can use the vibrations on people without them knowing. around s4 she can generally recognise the teams frequencies but by 5b she can identify each one easily. carrying on from that, daisy is now far more in touch with her powers the harm to her body is reduced. eventually there's little damage done at all. 004. following her mothers attempt to kill her, daisy started to dislike being touched without permission. it would often bring her back to jiaying draining her life. working with mack / her relationship with lincoln had started to help her get over it however following hive she tries to avoid contact from people outside of the team. prior to this, she used to get the tallest person available to carry her around when she was tired or just bored. 005. daisy genuinely suspects that coulson is the one who came up with her superhero name because she knows he's a fanboy (see: his line about missing her & robbie team up). also, on the way to a mission they can and will talk about cool entrance's bc no chance she arrived just as he finished the cool origin story line. 006. in the aftermath of the fight in chicago, daisy didn't get back to the team for hours. she passes out after the fight due to the injuries that the serum was still healing. instead the people left behind help her with the emergence responders getting her out of the crater, people salvage blankets for her and keep the press away from her. everyone saw her take down an avenger level threat and they treat her as a hero rather than an unregistered inhuman thought to be a terrorist. afterwards, the majority of the public embrace her as a hero and she uses her image to help get rid of the accords. 007. daisy does not consider herself human. the feeling took root in her time brainwashed by hive but over the course of season 4 when she was made out to be a terrorist for stopping the watchdogs and seeing inside the framework, she doesn't at all consider herself to be human. 008. she's very reluctant to talk about her terrigenesis or how her power feels with most people. given the events around her terrigenesis / how it wasn't her choice, she's highly unlikely to talk about it with people unless they're close to her or she's trying to help someone. the only real exceptions to it are other inhumans / powered people but she would feel really defensive if anyone else asked her. 009. sometimes she purrs. similar to why a cat purrs, the vibrations aid the healing process and is also comforting, she starts doing it properly after s5 and doesn't notice at first. it happens mostly when she's comfortable. 010. daisy actively doubts her own thoughts following hive. she still has nightmares and worries that she's not actually free and doubts that her decisions are her own. when it gets bad she usually seeks out a friend to help her calm down and remind her. 011. daisy was abused during her time in the system. this varied from physical abuse from the nuns to some sexual abuse in foster home. this contributes to her feelings of low-self worth and how quickly she forgives some people for hurting her while reacting strongly to others.

012. daisy used to pass out / get headaches a lot w her powers. she didn’t notice at first bc until afterlife she still felt a disconnect to her powers but once she learned how to hear the vibrations the headaches started : like in s3 w the monolith, it drove her to pass out at times. the first time she went somewhere busy she passed out & mack had to take her back to base. she usually kept it quiet bc everyone was worried about jemma & she didn’t know what it was but after the monolith bobbi took a look into it for her. as of s5 she can usually handle it but when she’s not prepared it can still affect her pretty badly & she usually gets warned when there’s something going on in the lab so she can avoid it.

013. daisy went back to afterlife after the season two finale to retrieve the necklace her mother gave her. she also feels guilty over what happened. it’s stupid and she knows it is but she still feels like it was her fault because she brought shield to afterlife and if she hadn’t then maybe jiaying wouldn't have snapped. she also feels pretty bad that it’s partly her fault so many people lost their lives after becoming inhuman bc it was her who put the terrigin in the water.

Dion is a pretty optimistic boy, so he isn't prone to losing hope, but since he does actually need assistance often while doing hero work, he mostly turns to Axel, who can fill in for most of his weak spots in battles, Beau bc he likes the floating platforms and they're good for resting or Number1 bc she is good at strategizing and helps substantially in battles!

He feels very calm when running, so he does that often, but when he doesn't get to, he watches movies or anime with gentle themes, that help him feel comfort in his heart! He finds comfort in his friends, and he doesn't like being alone, so he always seeks out ways he can be with them! He struggled finding friends when he was young, so being surrounded by a lot of people that like him is the only thing he finds reassuring!

❄️ What makes your OC sad, so sad that they can’t help but cry all day? How do they cheer themself up? Does their sadness upset any of their loved ones too?

Oh, boo, why are you making me write do many sad things ( ･ั, ³･ั,) he feels sad when his friends are sad, but he has trouble expressing it, since he doesn't cry much! After everything is over his go-to method for lightening up is watching cute anime and working out! Doing hero work is also very good for him, since knowing he's helping people gives him "Value" in his opinion. He gets very sad when he forgets important things or disappoints people, but none of the team members like seeing Dion be sad, so they try their best to not upset him!

Hmm, random fact about Dion is that before he worked as a hero he had a couple other jobs where he utilized his centaur body to help people! He worked as an Uber, and was pretty famous for some time from that only, (since you don't see a horse Uber every day (-ω-)) and he was one of the fastest ones since there's no traffic that can him hold back! He also modeled for a support gear company, where he helped style and test battle gear!

He is pretty calm, but he really can't stand homophobia! One time he almost went beast-mode on some people that harassed the people in a pride parade, and had to be restrained! He would never take his anger out on his loved ones, so they can calm him down fairly easily! It's usually Clover or Beau that handles him, since they're the most mature ones in the group!
