The Additional Rook HCs:

I'm not sure if this applies as a theory or headcanon but I'm pretty sure that Rook has passive suicidal thoughts. He wouldn't actively do the job but he wouldn't mind if he would be passing (Which is especially shown in Book 5 where he was most willing to chug down Vils poison and if it were to kill him, so be it). He also constantly plays with fire by messing with anyone who could kill him in a heartbeat (Leona, Malleus, Lilia - Who has actually openly threatened him).

He is genuinely interested in arson and sets shit on fire at least twice a month. He creates explosives in canon, so he definitely burns shit down too.

The first time he tried Vils cooking he cried because he was used to all kinds of spices in his food from home. Just like Epel, he would secretly add spices/seasoning when Vil isn't looking.

He doesn't care about gender - Whether it's his own or if it's the one of his significant other. He loves beauty and beauty has no gender in his eyes.

In response to the previous ask about Vil’s hair, I have to say the questions of whether it’s dyed or not intrigues me too! We see that characters can have hair that is unique, such as Epel’s hair. Sebek too, has green hair although it could be said that, the green can be credited to his mother/fae side, but I don’t think the same could be said for Trey. The Leech twins also have a streak in their hair, that seems natural. And there is Lillia, whose hair I would say doesn’t come in gradients but, still, is an intriguing look. (Curious if Lillia’s hair is natural or not.) and of course, the Shroud brothers have their unique fiery hair. So for Vil, I really am curious about whether or not it’s dyed, so seeing the question pop up on your blog just made me excited lol

I actually don’t think we need to think too hard about the reasons for TWST characters’ hair colors?? Weird, colorful hair is just a natural part of the anime aesthetic/character designs even for regular ol’ humans 🤷‍♀️ I just hesitate at Vil because it’s not as common to see natural gradient hair. Darker roots or ends of your hair (like Ruggie and/or Jack), sure! But not usually blonde to purple fade.

In terms of known hair color alterations, Deuce had his hair bleached blonde in middle school. (This is a common trope for Japanese juvenile delinquent characters.) We see a few pictures of this in the manga adaptation (credit for image goes to turtlesoupscans). He’s back to his natural hair color in modern day!

As for Lilia, the Magical Archives book states that his natural hair is black and the magenta streak and underside is dyed! He changes to different colors based on his mood. In any case, it seems that the majority of the cast have natural hair. The main exception seems to be Lilia.

(For anyone that’s going to ask, I checked Vil’s pages in the Magical Archives as well and there are zero notes on whether his hair is dyed or all natural.)

In interviews Midorikawa has explained that he first formed an interest in voice acting in elementary school after watching the anime “Mobile Suit Gundam” and as a child he decided to, one day, join the same agency as the VA of the main character after reading about the company in a voice acting magazine.

That is now his current agency, Aoni Production.

As the eldest son in his family he was originally intended to take over the family pharmacy, but he defied his parents in order to pursue his dream of voice acting.

Midorikawa made his voice acting debut in 1988 and has since had roles in over 300 anime series and OVA and 400 video games.

Midorikawa enjoys collecting merchandise that features characters he has voiced.

He appears as a guest in episode 5 of Twisted Radio Station, brings out a bag full of Twst-related merchandise (including a magical pen that he says he won in a raffle) and shows off his Diasomnia socks during the recording (much to Sebek's VA Ishiya Haruki's delight).

What will dating be like? Feat. My favorite characters

I’m reflecting on my taste in men and I feel like my chance of survival is pretty limited, so here are some takes. Tell me some of your favorite characters and tell me how likely you will survive a date with them!

Bleach: Sosuke Aizen

Dating him was part of his plan!

Which means you aren’t really important to him in terms of being a partner (unless he wants one??). If he is looking to not be single no more then you will be cared for (literally he will give you the world)

He would take you nowhere. You two walk around either in the barren Hueco Mundo or you have to try introducing him to Starbucks. Wherever you take him though he will gaslight you into paying 💀

5/10 you might survive but the chances are limited :/

HxH: Chrollo Lucilfer

How are you dating him? If you are a Meteorite then you’re gonna have a great date. If you aren’t, then might as well say goodbye to either your life or some other important thing like a whole clan 😭

He would take you to an amazing restaurant only to gaslight you into paying 💀

If you end up convincing him you like the Meteor City life then you guys go to a junkyard to find old videotapes

As promised/hinted before: A Halloween event! [And with that, an opportunity to request again, while I finish up some more Summer requests].

Spooktober '23 will be "Lovebites" and all in theme of Vampire AU. In Spooktober tradition you will NOT know beforehand if the prompt you picked is fluffy or angsty (though the majority is positive!). Please don't participate if you cannot handle angst at all. Most of the stories, even positive ones will include mentions of blood, possible violence and biting etc, as we're working with Vampires!
