Things I do to take care of myself
Inspired by @theambitiouswoman
Hello girlies! On this blog I'm going to write down all the habits I do to take care of my self. These ones I have been practicing them since a long time and I know they maintain me healthy, happy, balanced and stress free. I hope I can inspire you to discover the habits that make you feel your best and start doing some of the things I do!
My habits
Have a morning and night routine to follow
Sleep 8 hours on a consistent schedule
Eat at least one fruit a day, along three healthy meals and drink enough water
Pray when I wake up
Do yoga in the morning and meditate at night
Do my skincare 2 times daily (morning and night)
Have an "everything shower" 2x times per week
Listen to positive affirmations in the morning
Dress up pretty every time I'm going out
Listen a podcast daily
Read one chapter of a book daily
Dedicate one hour for introspective journaling and healing yoga + meditation 2xtimes per week
Use less than 4 hours my phone (15 minutes max on every social media app)

Be productive and focus on my tasks to be free the more time possible
Make a daily to-do list
Maintain my personal space clean
Take my daily supplements after breakfast
Look from time to time my vision boards
Dedicate time to prepare my meals and make lunch for university (instead of spending)
Keep track of my financial movementes

📖 #CalmWriMo 2023
Tumblr media
If you want to do NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) but a 50k word goal doesn't work for you, you're invited to join me in CalmWriMo 2023 on Tumblr for a chilled-out creative experience this November.
Here's how it works...
📝 Set a fun and achievable writing goal
This can be a word count goal, but it definitely doesn't have to be. It also doesn't have to be new-words writing. Editing, research, outlining, or anything other writing-adjacent activities are great too.
You might want to...
Work on your WIPs for [however many] days
Complete a draft or a certain number of chapters
Spend [however many] hours editing
Create an outline for a book
Research specific topics for a WIP
Make graphics or moodboards for your stories
Create or overhaul your author website
Or anything else connected to your WIP(s) or writing
🍵 Choose an accessible and enjoyable self-care focus
This can be anything at all that helps you take care of your physical and/or mental health while you work on your writing goal.
You might want to...
Be more consistent with your journaling habit
Get to grips with your sleep schedule
Start or continue a daily yoga or meditation practice
Drink more water
Reduce screen time before bed
Read more fiction, non-fiction, or writing craft books
Go for regular walks
Or anything else that benefits your body or mind
💻 Share your own CalmWriMo intro and progress
If you'd like to join in, you can make a post to share your writing goal and self-care focus using the #CalmWriMo tag. You're welcome to @ me (@winterandwords) in your intro post if you want to.
You're also welcome to use the tag to post progress updates and WIP snippets throughout November. Bear in mind, reblogs don't seem to show up in tag searches on Tumblr, so creating new posts for each update might make them more visible.
I'm going to check the #CalmWriMo tag throughout the month to see how everyone's doing and share some of your posts.
Anyone taking part is encouraged to do the same if you would like to have you have the time and energy for it. In the spirit of CalmWriMo, there's no obligation to do anything other than what you're comfortable with 💜

my year of rest and relaxation without rotting and ravaging
Truth be told seeing a person with healthy habits, an organised life and a graceful personality and suggesting that this lifestyle is easy to accomplish is absolutely misleading, because it's not.
We're watching short videos of morning routines created by patrick batemans. We're reading inspirational prompts and quotes from the safety of our couch. We're scrolling through pinterest creating lists destined to dust on our profiles.
I came to the conclusion that the self improvement movement can be just as toxic as self destruction and there is a high risk for developing a depression and/or OCD (failing your goals and ambitions can push you into a downward spiral of rotting and ravaging).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
» visualise activites for your relaxation
take a piece of paper and write down what is relaxing for you personally without being to critical towards yourself. If someone tells you journaling is relaxing it doesn't mean it has to be for you. Take your time and take notes whenever you are doing something that lightens your mood. If sitting on a bench and watching people is your way of relaxation suit yourself. Do not choose activites only by the appeal towards your desired aesthetic.
» stay true to yourself
Stay true to yourself and don't neglect your own personality. Self improvement is not about becoming a better version of yourself, it's about finding and refecting yourself in this abyss of modern society. Please be kind towards yourself and do not misconstrue self improvement as perfection, because that's definitely not the same. Considering self improvement as a life lesson and experience is a way healthier approach.
» resting ≠ sinning
Having a long and extended nap, as a treat. Binge watching your current favorite tv show, as a treat. Have a cheat meal, as a treat. Go on a spa day, as a treat - you get the point. Please consider that habits are only healthy if they are in balance. Don't restrict and torture yourself if you feel the need to rest. Professional athletes know, that without resting there is no rising.
» It's ok not to be okay, but it's not okay to stay that way
We all have our past, we all have our skeletons. Previous experiences that shaped our personality are like pieces of clothing that are not fitting anymore but you're afraid to throw them away because of the emotional bond. Fun fact, if your warderobe is full, ypu don't have enough room for new garments. If you cannot let go it's time to clean out your clothes. I'm recommending you to seek professional help through a therapist if your past seems overwhelming or if your feeling mentally unease.
» the sixth sense of relaxing
focus on your senses before or after they are stimulated for a long amount of time by letting them relax. Try sensory exercises (for example breathing exercises), focus on something tacticle with your hands, catch the sunrise/sunset, go into a tea shop and smell the herbs, do yoga, drink water, take a bubble bath, listen to asmr or a new album. Whatever is stimulating your senses in a positive way helps to reduce stress.
Bisous!

How to live like wonyoung
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is a guide on daily routines inspired by jang wonyoung!
Content list (routines):
morning
study
workout
shower + self care
night
(_ _ ) . . z Z⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚୨ :★: ୧ ∗  ˖࣪ ໒꒱  ˚₊·
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ morning routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
Wonyoung starts her days by stretching, this can help to relieve any tension or pain from the night before. Stretching shouldn't take that long to do, so make sure to stretch for at least 5 minutes every day. If you don't know how to do it, you can follow along a tutorial like this one.
Next step is skincare, to create the perfect skincare routine you need to at least wash your face and then use moisturizer and sunscreen, use products based on your skin type and add more steps only if you find it really necessary.
Now it's time for breakfast! Wonyoung loves to drink a cup of soy milk every morning, she also likes to have light and clean breakfast, so a good idea is to have some fruits and yogurt.
Finally, it's time to get ready for the day! Choose a cute outfit and hairstyle that fits the occasion + do your makeup, find your own style and get inspiration from Pinterest!
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ study routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
First things first, organize your time so you have at least a week to study for exams or get your assignments done. Avoid procrastinating, the more time you have, the less work you'll have to do.
One time, when Wonyoung was asked about study tips, she said that it's important to find your own study style. Study methods don't work on everyone, so it's important to experiment with various methods until you find the one that works the best for you.
Now that we know our study style it's time to actually work and focus hard, for this we need to create the perfect study environment, clean and ventilate your room, turn some instrumental music on (or study with me videos for inspo), get some healthy snacks, water or literally anything to make yourself comfortable! (stuffed animals, pillows, blankets, etc.)
When studying, always focus on understanding the content and continuously solve sample questions, repeating the same material for various days actually helps to remember details better, but if you are in a rush or running out of time you can try and memorize the content.
Take breaks and get enough sleep, taking breaks in between study sessions it's actually more productive than not doing so, some productive ways of taking breaks are meditation, listen to music, reading, journal or taking a power nap, sleep is very important, you can't have a proper study session if you don't have the energy to do so.
Stop comparing yourself with others! You aren't in a competition with the rest, the only opponent you have is yourself, so your goals should always focus on breaking your own records and become even better than your past self.
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ workout routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
When working out like wonyoung we should aim to improve our posture and be more flexible, this will help when doing Pilates or yoga just like she does. Also, we can focus on losing weight or just toning up our bodies if you don't find it necessary.
Wonyoung love Pilates, you can pick any Pilates workout on YouTube based on your time or in your specific body goals, but here's a Pilates routine inspired by her. Also, if you feel like doing a full body workout, here's another video inspired by wony!
If you don't really like to work out at home, the other options you have is that you can try and join a flying yoga class like Wonyoung! She also spends lots of her time doing dance practice, so choosing your favorite kind of dance could be an option too!
Choose one and start doing it continuously to start seeing results, also, it's very important to have non-physical goals, like feeling happier or meet new friends! Remember to always drink water!
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ shower and self care routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
Time for some self-care! First, take off your makeup using micellar water or an oil based cleanser (only if you have dry skin!).
Then it's time to hop on the shower and start with our haircare routine, one of wonyoung's charms is her long healthy hair, so make sure to use the right products for your hair. Here's a quick haircare routine you can follow; massage your scalp using a scalp massager or your fingertips, then use the right amount of shampoo only on the scalp, next use a conditioner from middle to ends to moisturize and detangle your hair. If you identify a problem with your hair (for example too dry, difficult to manage, etc.) you can add using a hair mask to this routine!
While we leave the products in our heads for a few minutes, it's time for bodycare! always clean your body with soap and a loofa, if needed exfoliate your body 1-2 times a week for super soft skin! Next is shaving, shave only if needed and never do it when your skin is dry, if you don't have shaving cream, you can use conditioner, just make sure to rinse it very well after.
After we are done with the shower it's time for skincare, wash your face, you can also exfoliate your face 1–2 times a week (3 if your skin it's too oily). This is also the perfect time to use a face mask! Use a hydrating sheet mask if you feel that your skin is dry, or a clay mask if you feel your skin is oily. Finally, use a moisturizer.
With clean hands and our skincare done it's the perfect time for face massages! Massaging our faces can help to improve skin texture and reduce the puffiness of the face, I personally like to do it with my hands, but you can also use a facial roller or gua sha (just make sure to keep the clean).
We can't forget to moisturize our bodies, make sure to apply lotion all over your body, especially if you exfoliated or shaved, use a lotion with your favorite scent (strawberry, vanilla, etc.) or use an unscented lotion and immediately apply perfume to smell good all day long.
It's now time to continue with our haircare, gently brush your hair and dry it, if you are using a hair dryer you must apply some heat protection. Also, make sure to apply a leave-in conditioner to prevent dry ends!
You can add more stuff to this routine if you need, like applying a lash serum to grow your lashes, or clean your makeup brushes, so you start doing it more regularly! Also, it's the best time to get some motivation, you can scroll down Pinterest or watch YouTube videos from thewizardliz, song jia, vogue beauty secrets or any content creator that inspires you to become the best version of yourself!
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ night routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
First step is to have dinner, if you're going to eat near your bedtime you should mind your portions and what you are eating, avoid heavy or spicy food, so you can rest better and really get that beauty sleep.
Every night, before going to bed, you can make some time to organize the next day (what are you going to do, plan the outfit/makeup/hair, etc.) and clean your room! It's very satisfying to wake up to a clean room, it also helps a lot when you have everything you need in the morning already set up, so you don't end up getting late!
Before going to bed is the best time for some yoga or stretching, yoga can help with relaxing your body before sleeping, specially if you exercised or if you were sitting down for many hours because of work or school.
Finally, the best way to finish your day is to read to help you wind down! Specially if it's near your bedtime and you aren't sleepy yet. You can even read comics! Just read any physical book you have, reading on a device can be distracting and will make you stay up past your bedtime.

tips on how to change to a better person and be a new person both physically and mentally. i want to transform into a new person within a few months but don’t know how or where to start
Hi love! While everyone's lifestyles and goals are different, here are some general tips that can only make your quality of life better:
Eat A Predominately Whole Foods, Plant-Based Diet: Unprocessed non-animal foods like fruits and vegetables, whole grains, plant proteins (peas, beans, edamame, etc.), nuts and seeds, root vegetables, and healthy whole fats (like avocado) should make up around 80% of your diet. Stick to water, black coffee, and tea either plain or with lemon, too to avoid unnecessary sugars.
Get In Your Steps & Gentle Movement: Try to average around 7-10K steps a day to feel the benefits of walking. Incorporate a light strength training exercise (pilates, yoga, a YouTube body weight or free weight workout, etc.) into your routine 2-3 times a week for around 15 minutes each.
Read Daily: Commit to 10 pages of book reading and 30 minutes of article reading at different times of the day to learn, stay updated on the world and strengthen your cognitive function/ability to focus.
Take Time To Self-Reflect: Journal for at least 10 minutes a day. Either practice morning pages (free writing 3 pages in the morning) or choose a prompt or two from a therapist, shadow work journal, and a blog post. See my latest Femme Fatale journal prompts to reset for 2023 in this private membership post.
Carefully Curate Your Circle of Influence: Be mindful of who you spend time with, what topics you discuss, and what information you share with each of these members of your inner circle. You're always allowed to set boundaries around who you want to speak to outside of work (and children who are minors, of course, if you have them) and what information you want to disclose with them. Protect your peace at all costs.
Set Intentional Goals: Create well-defined goals with a clear action plan in the major areas of life (career, finances, health, relationships, personal development). Consistency, not intensity, is essential for goal achievement. So, make sure to do little tasks each day or week to ultimately achieve your desired results.
Keep Track of Your Tasks: Have a to-do list for professional tasks, items to buy for the house, errands to do, grocery lists, appointments to schedule, bill due dates, invoicing timelines, etc. Keep track of these items on your Notes App, Reminders, or within Google Calendar/Keep – depending on how time-sensitive a task might be.
Make Time For Self-Care: Block out an hour or so of your day to purely focus on yourself. This ritual can include your daily non-negotiables like a shower, skincare, reading, journaling, etc., and can include other indulgent activities like a face mask, exfoliating, doing your nails, watching your favorite TV show, etc. Prioritize yourself.
Create An "I Love" List: Stealing this tip from Jessica Garner (sex educator on TikTok) because I love it so much. Whenever you find an activity, meal, experience, song, item of clothing, etc, add it to your "I Love" list (on your notes app, etc.) to remind yourself of the things in life that bring you joy. This list can serve as a source of inspiration when you're feeling down and give you a built-in list of ideas to lift your spirits in some type of way on your more depressing or stressful days.
See the rest of my best habit ideas to implement for 2023 HERE.
Hope this helps xx

It Girls Ramadan Guide
Tumblr media
Hey babesss I am soooo excited Ramadan officially starts this week and I wanted to post a Ramadan guide for my fellow Muslim girliesss if you aren’t Muslim but are participating in Ramadan this is a good guide for you as well.
Setting Intentions
♡ Before Ramadan starts set your intentions. What do you want to improve on this Ramadan? What charities do you want to donate to? Even if you aren’t able to reach all the goals you set Allah rewards us based on our genuine intentions.
♡ Journaling. I highly recommend journaling your intentions and your experience this Ramadan. Keep track of your mood, as well as your Quran readings, and prayers. I will link a Quran Journal as well as a 30-Day Ramadan Journal  Ramadan Legacy Planner.
♡ Vision Board. I’ve seen some girls online recommend creating a Ramadan vision board and I agree! Create a vision board using Canva and Pinterest, or you can use a poster board and magazine. This will help you see your goals not just read them. Place your vision board where you can see it so you're reminded of your goals daily.
Tumblr media
Nutrition
Suhoor
♡ Eat a balanced suhoor meal. Eat a meal high in protein, protein takes a while to be broken down so it’ll help you at the beginning of the day. Eat carbs and fats you will need as much energy as the average hours we fast during Ramadan are 12 to 18 hours depending on where you are.
♡ Drink water. One of the things I struggle with every Ramadan is my water intake. Try to drink at least two 16oz bottles of water during Suhoor. Hydration is super important you don't want to pass out due to severe dehydration.
♡ Drink electrolytes. Drinking electrolytes is very beneficial before fasting they help your body retain water while you are fasting. Do not overdo your electrolyte intake because too much sodium is bad.
Iftar
♡ Do not overdo it. I know going a long period without food can make you want to eat everything in sight but it is important to eat a well-balanced nutritious meal after fasting. When you overeat this may cause indigestion and other stomach issues.
♡ Avoid eating too much fried, salty, and high-sugar foods. Moderation is key I know during Ramadan my mom makes all of our favorite Ghanaian dishes and they aren't the most healthy options. That doesn't mean you shouldn't eat them or avoid them you can eat them but in moderation. Eating too much of these foods in the moment may feel good because they cause us to release feel-good hormones like dopamine and serotonin but they can make fasting the next day very difficult.
♡ Eat whole foods. The best food to break your fast with is fruit! Specifically, a date to begin with and then other fruits like pineapple, watermelon, oranges, strawberries, mango, and other fruits you like. I would recommend you eat more water-based fruits to hydrate your body.
♡ Drink water. I mention this twice because it is very important that after you break your fast you drink water make it a goal of yours to have six to eight glasses of water daily.
Tumblr media
Movement
♡ Create a Ramadan workout plan. I know a lot of us girliesss are on weight loss journeys and we want to be snatched before the summer but we also don't want to stress out our bodies while fasting and exerting needed energy. Create a workout plan that starts low and goes slow. Limit intense cardio, and train at a lower intensity, if you lift try to lift heavy before suhoor which means you’ll need to wake up earlier. If you prefer to workout after Iftar break your fast with something light so that your stomach won’t feel so heavy when you workout.
♡ Walking. I recommend getting in sedentary movement throughout the day, so instead of taking the bus walk if where you're going isn't that far. Walking is beneficial for so many reasons I’ll link this article.
♡ Yoga and Pilates. I love both of these exercises they are perfect for my girlies who are fasting. Pilates especially is perfect it is very low and slow in movements but still gives you amazing results. Yoga is perfect for relaxing especially if you deal with anxiety, sore muscles, back problems, and trouble sleeping I recommend trying yoga.
Tumblr media
Increase Your Iman
♡ Prioritize Prayer. Make sure to pray all five of your daily prayers and do them on time try your best to not delay your prayers unless you have to.
♡ Read Quran. Some of you might be hafiz of the Quran and I know it is common for hafiz to try and finish the Quran from start to finish during Ramadan so maybe you can make that a goal if you are a hafiz. For my girlies who are like me and haven’t finished the Quran but Insha Allah we will! I recommend trying to read at least 10 verses of the Quran daily that's better than not reading it at all.
♡ Watch Islamic Lectures. I recommend spending your time online watching Islamic lectures like Omar Suleiman, Mohammed Hoblos, Mufti Menk, Dr. Sh. Haifa Younis, Akhi Ayman (he is perfect for younger men), and many other amazing lecturers. My favorites are Omar Suleiman and Mufti Menk they explain Islam in such a beautiful way and spread the message perfectly.
♡ Charity. This month is the best month to give to those in need. You can donate to many organizations, and help send aid to Gaza/Congo/Sudan, create a fundraiser for your local masjid in need, feed another fasting person, help prepare Iftar at home, and so much more. Charity not only blesses us with good deeds but there have been studies proving random acts of kindness are good for our mental health we produce dopamine when we donate or help others.
♡ Pray Tahajjud. I swearrrr if you have anything you desire in this life this is the best prayer you need to pray! Allah is closest to the earth during the last third of the night and he is there to listen to our dua’s and repentance. You can only pray Tahajjuud after you sleep. Tahajjud is hard to catch because it involves having to leave our sleep for the sake of Allah. One Mallam explained Tahajjud so beautifully he said “Tahajjud is like a personal invitation from Allah Not everyone can get in most people are asleep during that time.” If you have anything you want badly pray Tahajjud for it, especially during this holy month.  So try your best to wake up an hour or two before the fajr prayer and pray Tahajjuud I will link a video on the benefits and how to pray Tahajjud for those who don’t know how.
These are a few tips for my girliesss I hope Ramadan is a blessed month for all of us! Thank you for all the support babes! we are getting close to 500 followers!!!

Coquette morning routine:
My current Spring morning routine 🌤☕️🌸
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wake up every morning at either 6am or 7am. Usually it’s 7am, if I’ve had a particularly busy day the day before, but sometimes it’s 6am. I wake up to natural sunlight and birdsong. As soon as I wake up I like to think of how grateful I am to be here another day and for the things I have ♡
I have a drink of water that I keep beside my bed, turn my subliminal or rain sounds off if I’ve been listening to them and then go to the bathroom etc ♡
Reading ~ I get back in bed if it’s a bit cold, check my phone/socials and will then read for about half an hour. I like to either read for 30 minutes or read 30 pages ♡
Journal ~ I also like to journal in bed for 10 minutes. I have a dream log I keep up-to-date with my dreams and I like to reflect on them ♡
Make my bed ~ I make my bed every morning. It makes me feel productive and sets me up for the day. I also open both of my windows to get some fresh country air in my bedroom ♡
Yoga ~ Once I’m out of bed I get my yoga mat and lay it out in my room to do some gentle stretching. I either do a K-pop idol stretch (you can find them on YouTube!) or a gentle Pilates stretch routine, but nothing too extreme. Sometimes I meditate too ♡
Shower time ~ I like to use all fresh products, marshmallow scented things, I also love Vanilla scents in the middle of Spring ♡
Brush my teeth ~ I brush my teeth every morning. Usually about an hour before I eat or drink anything, so nothing tastes unpleasant ♡
Skincare ~ I get out and moisturize with a body lotion. I have a coconut one that smells divine at the moment, and I also wash my face and do my skincare routine whilst watching “Vogue beauty secrets” ♡
Makeup ~ I go back into my room and get dressed for the day, with the outfit I picked out the night before. I light a candle and do my hair/makeup at my vanity, whilst either listening to “Lana del rey” or some kind of classical music . This always makes me feel like a princess in the morning ♡
Breakfast ~ I go into the kitchen and make myself a light and healthy breakfast. Usually it’s fruit, a smoothie or oatmeal/yoghurt with berry’s. I sit at the kitchen table and eat this while looking out at my garden and the birds. Sometimes I read and listen to the radio too. It gives my morning’s a retro, old fashioned feel ♡
Tea time ~ I make myself a mug of warm, fruity tea to take back into my room and enjoy ♡
Morning Walk ~ I read in my room for about 20 more minutes to let my food digest and once I’ve drink my tea, I go on a morning walk. Usually for half an hour. It gets steps in, clears my head and is a nice way to wake up, naturally in the morning ♡
I come home and check the schedule for that day, and check my to-do-list to see what plans I have for the day, so I can begin ♡
Thank you for reading 🌷⛅️🍃

GUIDE TO THE WELLNESS GIRL LIFESTYLE
Tumblr media
She's the kind of girl you see heading to her pilates class at 5 AM while listening to the goop podcast. She always looks put together and has an amazing fashion sense. She cares about her well being and is obsessed with health. Here's how to become her.
-
Everyone wants to have their life together, right? But it can be hard to actually put on the work when you have no idea where to start. After seeing these 'wellness girl' moodboards all over twt and pinterest, I've decided to create a daily routine with all the things that this girl would do, and an essentials list for the girlies that want to become her.
Remember that this routine is only a model, and you can -and should- shape it into your own life.

A.M.
Wake up at 5 AM and instantly do your bed. This small habit will actually make you more disciplined on the longway. Then drink some water and make yourself a green juice (recipes on the link). After that, do a 15-30mins pilates workout. Icing your face after a workout will depuff it and make it glow. Then, have a nutritious breakfast (e.g. oatmeal, smoothie bowl, avocado toast) and take your gummie vitamins. While you get ready (remember to use SPF !!), listen to the goop podcast by Gwyneth Paltrow. Now continue the day your own way. If you're a student, keep up with schoolwork.
P.M.
Do your skincare !! take off your makeup and use some rose water or any moisturizer you like. You can do nigh-time yoga or another 15-mins pilates workout. Before going to bed, you should journal about your day and feelings and make a to-do list for tomorrow. If you struggle with sleeping early, turn off all distractions like TV or your cellphone and read a nice book.

suffered and suffering from an incredible era of depression this year. here's my collected advice from 2023
- never smoke cigarettes and never vape. do not allow that into your life. you will only have one set of lungs, one trachea, and one immune system. there will never be another. take care of your physical body.
- substances will never make anything better, it numbs or distracts the present by letting you avoid the past. your future comes whether you want it to or not. substance abuse has only allowed my present to become my past and I have done nothing for my future. work on your future. every plan. everything. just fucking do it.
- no one should be allowed you 24/7, it's ok not to reply to people for hours. but make sure you do reply to them. do not let the messages pile up and do not wait more than 2 days.
- make friends. keep friends. water and nourish your friendships and relationships. you can be friends with people from work or school or whoever you meet. do not allow your fellow man to be a stranger, not everyone is here to hurt you and you are hurting no one by being nice. be yourself and love people
- journal. workout, yoga, exercise, dance, move your body repetitively in some way for a little while. drink water, get sunlight, spend 15 minutes outside every single fucking day, I don't care about your individualized situation where your allergic to the smell of fresh cut dandelions. stop being annoying online and treat your mental disorders. expose yourself to betterment. you can live in better.
- literally just talk to people about your needs no one knows what's wrong with you. no one will see that you are hurting when you purposely try to act like you're fine.
- do what makes you happy. algorithm is fake and trying to work with it will only cause you pain. you will never flourish. your audience means nothing when you purposely make content for them, and you may as well be buying followers or likes. do whatever you want to, within moral reason.
- it's ok if you don't want someone in your life. it's ok if you feel like someone has fucked up and you don't want that. it hurts to remove them, but to keep toxic or uncomfortable people in your life won't make your situation with them any better. rip the bandaid.
- reliving PTSD flashbacks looks like something completely different than what you think it does. maybe this is my own individual problem. I did not know what I was reliving for so much of my life has always been a flashback. since identifying them, I've been able to avoid them and avoid triggers.
- if you have autism then just be autistic. its embarrassing to unmask but you have to do it to live /your/ life. not the life you want people to perceive. you're not a character, you're not written, you're alive and human and complex. you will fuck up some times and it will be hard a lot of the time but literally allow yourself to rest. you will have bigger problems in the future if you allow the anxiety to stay in your body
- there is a solid part of life that does not change easily and there is a soft part of life that does. you're actions, while soft, will solidify. this is forming habits and routines. the solid part of your life will rot away if you do not support it with the soft. sometimes the hard is difficult to change because you live with other people present in the same world. do what you can, there is no changing them. they also have solid and soft parts of their life they need to work on as well.
- expand your knowledge. if you're solely a digital artist then pick up a new medium. if you solely write short fics then write a longer one, or a novel. read books. read physical literal books from your public library. learn about the environment around you. go to museums and national & state parks. visit towns you normally don't. visit shops. look for things outside your interests. learn about cultures outside your own. learn a language. if you do not know where to start, make a short list of things and roll dice to figure out what wikipedia-youtube rabbithole you need to go down.
love yourself.

Spiritual Awakening 101: An Introduction to Finding Your True Self
Spiritual awakening—a term that resonates with mystery, curiosity, and profound transformation. It’s a pivotal experience that many seek and some stumble upon unexpectedly, marking a significant shift in consciousness and perception of the world. Whether you’re a seeker or new to the concept, understanding spiritual awakening can open doors to deeper insights and personal growth. Here’s your beginner's guide to unraveling the essence of spiritual awakening.
What is Spiritual Awakening?
Spiritual awakening is a profound realization where an individual transcends previous mental and emotional limits, gaining a broader and clearer sense of self and universe. It is not tied to any specific religion or tradition, though many spiritual practices can facilitate this awakening. At its core, it involves a deep connection with the essence of being, beyond the physical and mental identity.
Clear Sights
Signs and Symptoms of Awakening
Experiencing a spiritual awakening can vary dramatically, but there are common signs that many report:
Enhanced Perception: Seeing the world in new ways, noticing details and beauty where before there was none.
Sense of Interconnectedness: Feeling a deep connection with all living things and the environment, often accompanied by increased empathy.
Desire for Solitude: Needing time alone to reflect and digest the intense experiences.
Questioning Old Beliefs: Reevaluating personal values, beliefs, and systems that were previously unchallenged.
Emotional Fluctuations: Experiencing highs of joy and bliss and lows of sadness, fear, or anger as old emotions surface to be processed.
Common Triggers for Spiritual Awakening
Spiritual awakenings can be triggered by various events or circumstances. These might include:
Traumatic Experiences: Often, intense challenges such as loss, illness, or near-death experiences can trigger a reevaluation of life’s meaning.
Life Changes: Major life transitions like leaving a job, moving to a new place, or ending a relationship can prompt deeper self-exploration.
Meditative or Reflective Practices: Engaging in practices that quiet the mind and encourage inner reflection can open the door to awakening.
Spontaneous Occurrence: Sometimes, awakenings occur without any clear trigger, emerging suddenly and unexpectedly.
Navigating the Path of Awakening
Awakening can be exhilarating but also challenging. Here’s how to navigate its waters:
Seek Support: Engage with communities or find a guide who can offer understanding and advice based on experience.
Stay Grounded: Incorporate grounding practices like mindfulness, exercise, and nature walks into your daily routine to maintain a balance.
Keep a Journal: Document your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Writing can clarify and integrate your insights.
Be Patient with Yourself: Allow the process to unfold at its own pace. Avoid rushing or forcing growth.
Embracing Your Spiritual Journey
Every individual’s journey is unique, and embracing your own path is crucial. Here are some tips to foster your spiritual growth:
Educate Yourself: Read books, listen to lectures, and engage with diverse philosophies and teachings.
Practice Regularly: Develop a consistent spiritual practice that resonates with you, such as meditation, yoga, prayer, or chanting.
Stay Open: Be open to new experiences and changes in your perspective. Flexibility can enhance your spiritual growth.
Spiritual awakening is a deeply personal and transformative experience that can change how you see yourself and the world. It’s a journey of self-discovery, healing, and profound insights. By understanding its nature and embracing the process with an open heart and mind, you prepare the way for a richer, more connected life. Whether you're at the beginning of this path or somewhere along its course, remember that each step is an integral part of your unique spiritual journey.

how to look at the world in a softer light? i don’t want to see it cruelly anymore…
tips for looking at the world with softer eyes:
🕊️ actively look for the good (try not to seek negative news or aspects; notice the kindness in others & be understanding when you do see the bad; notice how beautiful the world looks under the soft skies of a sunrise or how glorious the world looks when it bathes in a sunsets)
🕊️ don’t forget that we live on earth (our lives aren’t made up of only fellow humans, we live on a beautiful planet with so much beauty and life, so don’t focus so heavily on the parts that dirty the experience we have on this earth)
🕊️ look at the world when it’s the most beautiful (take a walk in the rain, watch how heavy droplets fall from the leaves of trees and how water ripples in puddles; marvel when the sun rays filter through tree branches, making you feel like you’re dreaming; watch how the moon creates halos around the clouds that hug her…)
🕊️ take a deep breath every so often, reset your mind when you catch darkness start to shroud it, remind yourself that there are bad in the world but there is so much good as well and time spent on focusing on the negatives takes away time that can be spend being content and happy with the positives
🕊️ cast away your darkness (scribble messily into a journal as if you’re ridding your negatively with each word you write- throw it away afterwards or never read back to it afterwords; take away the bad energy with an activity you enjoy- gardening, ballet, pilates, yoga, figure skating, etc.; do not let the negativity occupy your mind !)
i really hope these tips help you, angel… i remember also being a person who was so full of darkness ! even i still get moments where my eyes view the world as cruel and unforgiving, but i now know more about the beauty of this world so i am able to reset myself and take care to seek small doses of dopamine every day… i’m wishing you the best and hope you are able to find your special light 🤍

How do you get your life together?
I feel like the answer to that question is hard, because it’s so easy, and yet everyone struggles. You’ve done it yourself and so have millions before you, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, all giving tips on how to become your better self. What everyone fails to mention, is how they truly did it.
Some people have mental illnesses that don’t allow them to take the necessary steps, some believe they’ll commit when they are better off financially, hard to feel aesthetic and put together when your house and clothes don’t match the images you see for everyone. Some people just plain don’t want to, whatever the reason may be, it’s a hard subject and almost impossible. So how do you get your life together?
Well let’s start the easy way, take a journal, sit back with a glass of water and write your goals, what will help you achieve what you believe to be your perfect self? Drink water, do some yoga, read a book, eat a slice of toast with some berries and call it a day. Everyone has similar goals, everyone wants to be the person who wakes up and chugs some water, has a cute little workout set and goes to the gym, who has dinners with their friends and wakes up at 5am. Now here’s the issue, your alarm goes off at 5am, now you’re tired, your brain isn’t used to being woken up at such an early hour, it’s creates a checklist, work, family, school. None of those things? Great, back to sleep you go, you unconsciously sabotage your day because your mind is begging for rest right?
Wrong. You didn’t sabotage your day, you gave your body the rest it needed. When we are used to the habits we’ve created, it isn’t easy to quit cold turkey. Your body is used to waking up at noon? Great, set an alarm for 11:30am. Work your way back, don’t go from one extreme to the other, gradually give your body time to get used to this, then go back earlier, and earlier, until one morning you wake up at 5am and your mind doesn’t create that little checklist. Be easy on yourself, you’re doing your best, and that doesn’t mean doing what others are doing when it seems effortless for them.
This can be engraved in so many daily habits. Want to eat healthy but you regularly order McDonald’s? Pick a single week and try a new recipe everyday. Week is over? Back to McDonald’s, next time go for two weeks, hell go for a day, any effort is better than no effort.
Now here’s something I’ve been through, you see all these people with nice clothes, a big house, and any product they want sitting on their counter. You can’t afford that, so clearly this life wasn’t meant for you. The thing is, when we allow others to make us feel as though we don’t belong, we outcast ourselves. Don’t be your own enemy, do what you can, you’ve got this! So what if you only have a moisturizer? At least you’ve got a soft face. Don’t own a cute pair of leggings? Rock basketball shorts or yoga pants. Who cares? The life we want is out there, and we can create it step by step. You won’t be rich in a nice house by tomorrow, but when you better yourself and make things happen, you’ll have those habits engraved. Kick ass and make today your bitch, cause you don’t know how long you have left, and I personally really want to become a master in yoga before I die.

This January the goals I have set to focus on are:
♡ 31 days of yoga ♡ journal every day ~ even if it's just the date and one word. i will write something every day. ♡ drink water ~ just start with 1 bottle per day. make it easy, carry my cute yeti water bottle everywhere I go.
but there are some other sort of more gradual goals as well, like that I want to read 52 books this year, so I have organized for that and decided the 4 books I will read in January. I read 43 in 2022, so I really do hope I can hit the reading goal in 2023. In January I will be reading Paradise Rot by Jenny Hval, Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, Lullabies for Little Criminals by Heather O'Neill and Come as You Are by Emily Nagoski. I am hoping to do delivery or take out only 1x per month, and make sure to cook well and prep for every day too which I am planning for. I have been saving recipes and I have been researching some lunch containers and batch cooking / meal prepping containers but haven't decided yet what I want to get.
I set up some habit trackers, and of course I got my vision boards all done too. I think doing vision boards towards things you want to do is probably the number one thing that has helped me to really work on different areas. I hang them up where I can see them everyday, I set them as my phone background, my laptop background. You can't ignore it when you see it and see the hopes you have for yourself. I know I have done a lot the last 2 years but now I am really like, seriously, wanting to get more focused than ever before and really get to the end of 2023 and be so stepped into my highest self and just honestly, hopefully, sitting in such a calm and settled in version of myself.
I am hoping to work throughout the month to solidify some morning/night routines and figure out what will work for me and what the best routines are for me too.

Hey everyone!
Are you ready to embark on a transformative weight loss journey? Whether you’re just starting out or looking to break through a plateau, we’ve got some powerful tips and an amazing product that can help you achieve your goals. Here’s a comprehensive guide to effective weight loss, plus a special mention of our revolutionary product, Serolean, which can take your results to the next level!
1. **Balanced, Nutrient-Dense Diet**
- **Whole Foods Focus:** Prioritize vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats. These foods not only provide essential nutrients but also help you stay full and satisfied.
- **Caloric Deficit:** To lose weight, you need to consume fewer calories than you burn. Use a calorie tracking app to monitor your intake and ensure you’re maintaining a healthy deficit.
- **Mindful Eating:** Pay attention to your body’s hunger and fullness signals. Eat slowly and savor each bite to prevent overeating.
2. **Regular Physical Activity**
- **Cardio and Strength Training:** Combine cardio exercises like running, cycling, or swimming with strength training to maximize calorie burn and build muscle.
- **Consistency:** Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity each week, plus muscle-strengthening activities on two or more days a week.
- **Find Joy in Movement:** Choose activities you enjoy so that exercise becomes a fun and regular part of your routine.
3. **Healthy Lifestyle Habits**
- **Stay Hydrated:** Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Hydration is key for metabolism and can help control hunger.
- **Get Quality Sleep:** Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Poor sleep can disrupt hormones that regulate hunger and appetite, making weight loss harder.
- **Manage Stress:** Practice stress-relieving techniques like yoga, meditation, or deep-breathing exercises. Stress can lead to emotional eating and weight gain.
4. **Support and Accountability**
- **Track Your Progress:** Keep a journal or use an app to log your food intake, exercise, and weight loss progress. This can help you stay accountable and motivated.
- **Join a Community:** Share your goals with friends, family, or join a weight loss support group. Having a support system can provide encouragement and motivation.
5. **Boost Your Efforts with Serolean**
- **Appetite Control:** Serolean helps curb cravings and reduces hunger, making it easier to stick to your diet.
