that's what you are

that's what you're known as

the third, and least important child of the Kingscholar family

ever since you were a child, that became clear

your two big brothers carried much more importance

mostly the oldest, Falena

anytime gifts were given to the three of you, there would be a clear order of things

Falena always got the biggest and best gifts

Leona got the second best every time

and you got whatever was left

that is, if there was anything left

there have been many times where there would only be enough for your brothers

that or one of them took extra and you were left with nothing

since you were born last, you had to be the one left with their scraps

last...

that word alone pretty much describes your life

it was a constant theme that you were reminded of day after day

playing games with your older brothers was always fun

as long as the game didn't involve the players being first, second, or third

those games would always end the same

Falena was very talented, so wins and first place was almost always handed to him naturally

Leona would always try as hard as he could to beat Falena, but always had to settle for second

and you never had any chance trying to catch up to their abilities

they were much older, and much better at games

so you would always be deemed last place or the loser of every game

and after each game, the servants would talk

"Did you see? Prince Leona got second place again. He's no match for Prince Falena. He never wins against him."

"Yeah, well at least Leona can keep up with Falena and put up a bit of a fight."

"That's true. Last place is where the weakest belong."

they were right

in beastman culture, last place is for the weakest

and in a lions pride, weaker children can be left behind to fend for themselves

that's the last thing you want

so you tried not to let what they said get to you, and continued playing games with your brothers

as long as you were with your brothers, they wouldn't leave you behind

Falena was always super happy to involve you in whatever he was doing

Leona...was less enthusiastic

most of the time it didn't seem like he cared

if you wanted to spend time with Leona, you had to ask him and set everything up yourself just for him to put in minimal effort or fall asleep halfway through

it was hard to feel like he didn't consider it a waste of his time

you'd keep trying, but it never made much of a difference with him

eventually, Falena was crowned king and even got married and had a kid

so he had other, more important things to do than spend time with you

it was heartbreaking, but it's not like you could spend much time with him anyway since you were going to Night Raven College

but at least Leona was still at the school with you

you two were even in Savanaclaw together

you had hoped that you could still spend a little bit of time with Leona since you no longer had Falena to hang out with

but he no longer had time for you

whenever you asked about hanging out with him or playing a game of chess (which you know he loves), he would always say he was busy

and most of the time that was a complete lie

everyone in the dorm knows he spends most of his time sleeping

the only times he wasn't sleeping was when he was practicing spelldrive

you were starting to get tired of asking and getting turned down each time

so, you decided to ask one last time

it was later in the day when you found him by Savanaclaw's pool

a nice relaxing environment meant he would be in a better mood

but you knew better than to get your hopes up

you asked if he was up for a game of chess and even offered to set it up

and all you got in response was a no

of course he would turn you away again

that's all he did

you just had to ask

"Why? Why do you always say no?"

he let out a deep sigh

"Because I don't want to waste my time on weaklings."

there it was

he only sees you as a weakling, and not worth his time

somewhere along the way, he had already left you behind

and you never realized it

Leona was the only one that had time for you anymore, but he doesn't even want to spend it with you

the weakest one has been left behind to fend for themselves

you stopped trying with Leona after that

if you were being honest, the only reason you kept trying for so long was because he was the only one you had left

but that's over now and you're on your own

occasionally you would see him around Savanaclaw and pass by him, but he never even glanced your way

it was almost like you didn't even exist to him

you might as well not have been a Kingscholar anymore

but then you started seeing him around less

the spelldrive tournament was around the corner, he was most likely practicing

you used to go watch him as he played and cheer him on

...but he probably doesn't want you there anymore

actually, you could probably go to watch the other teams

Leona probably wouldn't notice if you were there anyway

Diasomnia has been playing very well these past few years, so it might be fun to watch them

so on the day of the tournament, you went to watch the games

since Diasomnia won last year, they would be up for the first game

but as the announcer started to introduce Diasomnia onto the field, the crowd around you started acting up and rushing towards the team

it was mass panic and everyone was screaming and stampeding towards the entrance of the coliseum

you got up and started to move with them, against your own will

no matter how much you tried to fight it, your body seemed to move on it's own

but you've been in Savanaclaw long enough to know who's magic this is

how Ruggie was able to control and entire stadium of people, you had no idea

but you turned to try and get back into the coliseum as soon as the spell wore off

the crowd was thick and it was hard to push through, but you had to

if the people were all being herded like sheep, something bad is happening

as you pushed through, a heavy aura of magic flooded the air

someone was certainly using a lot of magic in there

you finally made it to the entrance of the coliseum

standing in the field was Leona covering in blot and fighting many Heartslabyul students

even now, he was looking down upon everyone in front of him with such hatred and anger

not even Ruggie was spared from his attacks

but you got there just as the battle was ending, and Leona was defeated

the blot left his system and he collapsed to the ground

he was fine

for a brief moment, Ruggie saw you and stared

but Leona wouldn't want you here, even now

so you left without a word

you didn't end up going back to the tournament after that, but it went well from what you heard

Savanaclaw even made it pretty far considering everything that happened

Cheka ended up finding you after it all and you got to play with the little cub

to be honest it was a lot of fun, probably the most you've had in a while

sadly, he left you after a while to go find Leona

the days followed after that were pretty normal

...except for the fact that Ruggie was following you around more

he watched whatever you did throughout the day, and then left

but the one day he didn't follow you, you found Leona waiting for you in Savanaclaw with a chess game set up, and waiting for another player

If I was isekaid in Twisted Wonderland

I would be the worst person that Twisted Wonderland have ever seen.

I will laugh every 5 minutes, even when it's not funny. Ace crushed by a cauldron ? Yes. Grim trying to burn/threaten me ? Yeah. Riddle saying out of nowhere that he wishes he had eaten pie/played with Trey and Chenya when they were little ? Hear my laugh. Ace punching Riddle ? Yeah, I'll laugh.

I didn't lie when I say I was a hyena. I will be Ruggie Secret Love Brother/j

100% I will try to negotiate with Crowley to be a therapist or a student, all but NOT a concierge.

"Are you sure you're not going to let me in as a student ? You know, people would probably talk about how kind and generous you are if you did this. It would go viral on the Internet and a lot of people would like to come."

Yeah, I would definetly say something like that. No way I'm a concierge when I can't clean my room.

I'm not going to survive at the Overblots, it's said. I'm bad at sports, I never manage to dodge. I die at Riddle Overblot.

And if I don't die at the Overblots, I call Social Services/Child Protection at Twisted Wonderland after Azul's Overblot. Do you see book 6 when Crowley is in court ? Yeah, that's him after I called child protection. No way I let him be a headmage after that.

I will try to join the RSA if it doesn't work. Cause I CAN'T survive at Idia's overblot with the little minigames and Malleus' overblot.

“I will give you a gift, child of man.” Nah, leave me alone, I want to live. Let me live another day.

I will also say things like "Crowley, you have a [.....] kink" when he will try to give me job to do before running away. And I will do thing like that with all character that try to make me make their jobs/make me a therapist. I will doxx them all.

Idia will probably ask me how I know all of that about them. And I will just be here like "The less you know, better it is, and more legal it's/it is. :)"

I will probably try to be a background character.

At the Masquarade event, I will be the one who goes to the tower. It will be faster because as Yuu, I won't have any magic so the flowers will just stay flowers for me.

Knowing me, when the time of go back down the tower will come, I will be so tired of having to climb everything that I will go down by jumping from the tower with an umbrella at the Mary Poppins style.

Jamil will try to keep Kalim away from me because he won't want me to corrupt him.

I WILL slap Ace after what he say to Deuce in book 5.

I'm going to avoid Vil like if he was a mortal sickness. I will NEVER allowed him to puts makeup on me, for my mental well-being.

I will try to take a shower in another dorm than Ramshakle. No way I shower without hot water.

If I can't, I will make a contract with Azul. I don't care if he want Ramshakle, just let me take shower with hot water.

If Crowley don't give me money for improve Ramshackle, I will steal or make a deal with Azul.

Azul will see me every days.

I will be friend with Idia on games. Even if I hate the games.

I will probably make illegal things.

Like, you know the guys who tell you informations for money ? Yeah. That's me.

Oh and I will probably slap Crowley or do an Overblot if I can. Cause I can't stay mentally sane with the 30 trauma I will win with the 7 books.

Ruggie 🤝 me = stealing Leona and other people.

I will touch Jack tail. It's so soft, I just know it.

And I will adopt Ortho and Grim. I call dibs.

So, in short, I would be hated by everyone and I would doxx everyone for money.

Sky full of Stars

Pablo was supper excited about the Coldplay concert coming to Barcelona that he kept talking about it for the whole week to his sister, friends and of course you.

He grew up listening to Coldplay with his sister and there are many beautiful memories that he has with their songs in the background. For your very first date, he took you to the edge of the town where you laid in the trunk of the car looking at the stars and listening to Coldplay...so this was a special even for him.

"Amor, should I wear blanco or azul??" he asked you checking himself out in the mirror while you smiled at his indecisiveness when he looked so handsome no matter what color he chose to wear. But you decided to be helpful so you replied "Tu estas tan guapo cuando te pones blanco.." and he smiled immediately choosing that outfit and leaving to change.

"Así? Dios! Did you change??" Pablo said when he saw that you wore a white top and some shorts in order to match with him which looked so perfect contrasted with the bright red lipstick he loved to see on your lips.

"Mhm..wanted to match with my amorcito" you waled up to him snaking your arms around Pablo's neck while his were on your waist pulling you close and kissing your lips (ofc getting some lipstick on his that you needed to clean afterwards hehe).

When Frankie and Mikky picked you up, bunch of paparazzi were snapping pictures calling the boy's names which usually annoyed Pablo but nothing could ruin this night for him.

"You guys look so good in matching outfits!" Mikky complimented and you smiled thanking her before laying your head on Pablo's shoulder which he welcomed with a kiss on your head.

When you arrived, there was a large crowd of people laughing, chatting to one another, laughing some more and just spreading positive energy.

"We are going to get you ladies a drink..wait here so we don't lose you" Frankie said kissing Mikky while Pablo still kept a tight hold on your hand unsure if he should leave you alone in the crowds in case you end up getting lost. He was always way too careful when it came to your safety.

"Don't worry, amorcito..I'll wait for you right here" you reassure Pablo going on your tip toes before pecking his lips making him smile and nod his head before leaving wit Frankie towards the bar.

Meanwhile Aurora and Javi joined the two of you giving you hugs before Aurora asked Javi to take a photo of the three of you which he gladly obliged.

"You look so good hermanita! My hermano is a lucky cabrón!" Aurora said and you laughed before hearing "yeah he is!" behind you as Pablo's arms snaked your your waist from behind and he kissed the side of your neck before giving you the promised drink.

"Gracias amor.." you say sweetly blushing a little that he was very touchy in public which isn't often but you weren't complaining.

When the music started, everyone sang and danced taking a few videos for memory before putting phones away to enjoy the moment fully.

Then they started singing "Sky full of Stars" making Pablo immediately look down at you rested in his arms the same moment you looked up at him with a smile remembering that night of your first date.

"Dance with me linda?" he said and you blushed nodding your head while snaking your arms around his neck while he pulled you in closer and you started to slow dance like nobody else existed..like you were the only two people on Earth.

"Que preciosos!" Aurora whispered to everyone and they all smiled at how i love you two looked at each other enjoying your special moment.

Mikky took her phone and took a video of you and a few pictures to send to you knowing you would want to remember this moment in te future.

"I love you..did you know that??" Pablo said with a big smile and you smile nodding your head before kissing his lips softly.

"I know that..and I love you too Pablito!" you smile resting your forehead against his as the song ended and everyone cheered.

"Que romantico!" Aurora teased her brother taking off his cap and putting on your head before leaving with Javi to grab another drink while you blushed looking at Pablo whose eyes were sparkling looking at you.

"Check you phone" Mikky winked before she left with Frankie and you did smiling wide at the video and pictures they took of the two of you dancing.

When you came home, you were both ecstatic of the feeling from the whole night laying in bed together cuddling up and watching the video of you dancing on repeat..it looked like it was from some fictional show.

"We need Coldplay to play on our wedding.." Pablo said and you blushed looking up and and putting your phone away.

"Our wedding?" you said shyly and he nodded kissing your lips before pulling you closer wishing you sweet dreams while your heart was pounding hard against your chest after hearing those words..your and Pablo's wedding.

Floyd:

Second thoughts always do come a second too late, don’t they?

It was only when the bar was yanked down, a weight settled into your gut. You stare at the track, watching the way it twisted and turned, a madman’s weave.

This probably wasn’t the best idea.

You wince, as the bar creaked, screws screaming in protest at the movement. It was pulled downwards, the cool metal pressing deep into your gut. Clammy hands clutch at the bar, the only thing keeping you within the ride.

Sneaking a glance beside you, you see Floyd. Hair tucked in behind his ears, his earring jingled with every breath he took. His fingers drum on the bar, restless already. A snarky grin plays on his lips, the definition of confidence.

Nudging him with your elbow, you hiss:

“If I throw up, I’ll be throwing up on you.”

Raising an eyebrow, he gives you a quick once over. Hands reaching for the nape of your neck, he wipes off the sweat clinging onto your skin. Cold sweat, reeking slightly. The stench of a frightened animal.

“Scared, Shrimpy?”

A genuine question. Floyd leans closer to you, forehead brushing against yours. His skin was cool, breath wafting against your lips. Pursing your lips, you nod. A hesitant movement, but admiring fear was never something easy.

A gentle weight presses itself into your hand. Floyd’s fingers snake their way through yours, clutching your palm tightly. His finger intertwined with yours, his heartbeat pulsing through your skin.

“You get to squeeze me for once, shrimpy. Don’t hold back, yeah?”

Jade:

Standing on your toes, you stare at the line. Leaning to the side, in an attempt to find the end of the line. All you could see was head after head, a throng of people patiently waiting for their turn.

Beads of sweat drip down your neck, slipping down your back. You clothes start to cling into your skin, moist. Heaving a sigh, you fall back onto your heels.

Cold surges through your palm. A drink was passed to you, condensation cool against your skin. Jade shoots you a small smile, nudging the drink closer to you.

“Have a sip. It’ll be a rather long wait.”

Shaking your head, you push it back to him.

“It’s your drink, Jade. I have my own.”

Digging in your bag, you fish out a bottle. Holding it towards the light, all you could see was a drop of water running down to the base. Barely a mouthful left.

You laugh awkwardly, shoving it back into the depths of your bag. Jade stares at you pointedly, tilting his head slightly. The drink is yet against passed to you.

Once again, you push it back to him.

“It’s fine! I’ll buy a drink for myself later.”

A click of his tongue. Jade takes a swig of his drink, before grabbing your waist. Dragging you closer, his lips find solace next to yours. A sharp bite has you gasping, lips parting. The drink flows into your mouth, sweetened by him.

Once he pulls away, a smug smirk is flickering on his lips.

“Would you like another, love?”

Azul:

Slow, tentative steps. You make your way through the haunted house, arms tensed, held across your torso in a defensive posture. Edging through the rooms, your eyes flicker from the left to the right, wary of every dark, shady corner.

A pair of footsteps follow yours. Glancing behind, you catch a glimpse of silver. Azul’s close behind, shaking his head at your antics. His cerulean eyes stare at you, a certain unease clouding them, despite his confident stride.

“Why are we doing this again?”

“You were the one who wanted to have an authentic amusement park experience, Azul.”

Turning around, you stick up two fingers on each hand, bending them forward in quotation marks.

“And I quote ‘to implement them in the next Mostro Lounge Event’ you business-crazed man.”

An annoyed huff, before Azul’s pace quickens, moving in time with yours. Avoiding your quizzical gaze, a faint pink dusting his cheeks.

“That isn’t the only thing I am… fond of.”

Just when you were about to demand elaboration, a rustle of cloth has both of you freezing in your tracks. A man leaps out from behind the wreckage, wielding an axe. He roars, a deranged expression stretched across his face.

Instinctually, you jump backwards. Trembling hands reach for the closest thing you could grab. In this case, it would be Azul’s arm. Tugging it closer, you cling onto him.

A warmth surges through your palm. Azul’s fingers are threaded within yours, clutching tightly. Both of you meet each other’s eyes for a mere second. Yet that was all you two needed.

A silent agreement:

Get out of this accursed haunted house. The touches will be explained later.

A trembling hand tight in a shivering hand, you two make a run to the exit together.

Tweels hc doodles + notes!

Goodness me, I've not been working on these for very long but here's all of what I've thought of within 2 days of thinking about them!! I basically started writing about them the moment I finished drawing "the fuck you brothers" post (9/24) (and today, 9/26) I totally have been thinking about them more after I wrote all this, so I will be continuing on with my hcs right here, under the cut :3 (keep in mind I have not yet played twst! If I get anything gravely wrong correct me!) (9/28, edit: I downloaded twst y'all...)

Both of the twins are autistic, just being on very different ends of er... intensity? Idk how to word that. I just mean that Floyd is someone who has trouble regulating his emotions and stims a lot. Jade doesn't stim as often, he probably would if he were infodumping about mushrooms/his terrariums or whatever else. I think I mean. That Jade suppressed his autistic tendencies by a lot to seem more like a gentleman, while Floyd doesn't really give much of a shit and probably doesn't even know he's autistic.

on that note they both have ADHD. AuDHD brothers.

Anyways as I way saying abt Floyd stimmies; He stims a LOT. Just, all the damn time. It gets so annoying for a lot of people and everyone knows he can't control it. His clingyness is also stimming, he's very touchy. A lot of stim toys don't actually help him but he does calm down significantly more when he's wearing headphones and listening to loud music. That's what stimulates him the most.

Jade only stims when excited, yeah I mentioned that. But did I mention he also stims a lot when stressed. In front of costumers, if he was stressed he might only fiddle with his fingers behind his back. But as soon as he gets away it's full body stimming time baby. Mans is not okay but he cannot let that mask slip!! (I forgot the word before, but I meant to say in my first dotpoint that jade is better at masking than Floyd!!)

Floyd mcr liker >_< (songs about depression and drugs to think about violence to!) Floyd also likes shit like "41 mins of roblox music" or any spongebob music. skull emoji.

Jade Laufey liker :33 (calm songs to think about violence to!)

Floyd likes dancing around in his room to music. Like really getting into it. Putting one song on loop and doing the same dance moves over and over again. (stimming) (oh my god I'm PROJECTING AGAIN stop....)

Jade likes drawing mushrooms. He's really good at drawing nature and when I say "good" I mean if you looked at it, you'd think it was a picture. Like abnormally good for someone who used to not even have paper available...

I saw this from a moot once on twitter I think, but they both (+ Azul) probably had a hard time adjusting to walking around everywhere instead of swimming when they first came onto land. And I think there was something about holding on to bars on stairs WAYY too tight because they feel so wobbly going up them. Same with like, escalators? and elevators? didn't fucking trust them. And they still don't sometimes... Adding onto this I think that they'd both get really frustrated at first with it. Like genuinely really upset; Floyd dramatically falling to the floor and flailing around on the verge of tears while Jade punches the ground over and over... They obviously got better at land things after a long while but for a bit they were just so. not okay LOL

I think for casual/home clothes they'd both be really into big fluffy jumpers. massive fucking huge fluffy shits. They'd be all over the texture and it would be so so texture /pos drooling emoji

I had a little thing that I thought of where I would give Floyd Heart shaped eye shines PLUS an extra smaller not heart eye shine. And giving Jade a square shaped shine with no extra shines. It just makes so much sense to me. Like I can't explain it very well but if you get it, you get me. Do you get me...

WHICH leads me to say then that when Floyd gets MAD he would have NO eye shines. Do you get me. I totally make sense right/. And Jade getting happy about anything even if it doesn't show on his face it would totally show in his eyes... Which also brings me back to something I wrote in my doodle notes with the pupils being like cats... OUGH I'M GOING INSANE DO I MAKE SENSE

another thing my twt moot said !! Floyd would hate necklaces/rings/other accessories and jewelry! Floyd loving to squeeze people but hurting them is 90% of the time on purpose hurting and 10% accidental hurting and when it IS accidental he gets so upset about it. I like to think Floyd is the more emotional out of the two... just so many emotions in that boy. like he just !! wants to give you love !!! but he's so strong he breaks ur ribs !!!! many of ur ribs!! ur honestly surprised you haven't punctured a lung yet!!!

On that note they BOTH are extremely touch starved. Floyd would fucking LOVE it if someone were to lay down on top of him for hours he would feel so squished!! and warm and nice!! and comfy!

Jade on the other hand, LOVES holding hands. holding ONTO something holding onto someONE.

Mr. & Mrs. Leech meet ♡

Mr. Leech is a tiger shark + giant moray from Okinawa 🇯🇵

Mrs. Leech is a spotted moray eel from Barbados 🇧🇧

╰ I'm not going to try and explain how tiger sharks (who fertilize internally) and moray eels (who fertilize externally) had babies. I don't want to think about it either actually.

They were conceived and born in Hawaii

Jade eats 9,999 eggs and left 1 because they were feeling silly

Floyd hatches!!! Yippee!!!

Floyd leech childhood !!

She was transparent and ugly

Became extremely attached to his mom during the 1 year period he was too small to swim down the reef

╰ Jade was independent and liked to explore greenery near the nest, but this isnt about him.

^^ This is what moray eel nesting looks like btw. Imagine this but with a bigger coral cave, a 12ft (4m) moray mermaid, 15ft (5m) shark/moray merman, and two half foot (15cm) long merbabies.

After they get big enough they begin to explore with jade

╰ Floyd was fascinated with other sea creatures while Jade liked the coral and seaweed around them.

It takes ~7 months for a moray eel to double in size, so at around 2 years old floyd was already a whopping foot (30.5cm) long! yippee!

They learned how to hunt with papa Leech around this time :3

Floyd leech adolescence ☆

I had to do some math. If a moray eel doubles in size every 7 months (~210 days), and floyd was 1 foot (30.5 cm) long at 2 years old, at 13 years old he would be... very big. so im going to curb this logic and say the doubling in size stops at around 3 years old.

I'll just say he was 6ft (3m) at 13 years old for convenience

When Floyd turned 13 papa leech tried to train him to become a suitable heir for his "very special business"

^^ Moray eels get cleaned by cleaner shrimps! They have a transactional relationship- the shrimp gets a free meal and the moray gets a free bath (scrubbed of any parasites)

I imagine this is somewhat similar to how Mr. Leeches "special business" works. "I'll scratch your back, you'll scratch mine, and if you stop scratching I'll eat you," kind of vibe. This is the mindset he wanted to instill into the tweels.

Floyd proved too difficult to train, so Mr. Leech moved onto Jade

This is where the insecurity and shit started to set in.

Floyd learns about human fashion! He loved all of the colors above ground and the beach became his favorite spot to spy on!

He became obsessed with swimsuits and colorful umbrellas/beach towels, and started to pick up pretty human litter

He also learns about Spongebob. Important detail.

“Dancing with you is enough”

[ SUMMARY ] Even if you might not be on the main dance floor, it was a glorious masquerade nonetheless.

[ GENRE ] Fluff... plus a bit of funnies here and there. And what if I told you first kiss 😳

[ NOTES ] The brainrot for this was so bad but it look me, like, a month to finish. Huge shoutout to Lina who helped me finally get to finishing this ily <33 Also. Spot the Taylor references (there are two and one is pretty obvious) OH YEAH and the povs randomly switch up from paragraph to paragraph so. Yeah, I hope it isn't easy to get lost 😔

Noble Bell College’s ballroom was filled with cheerful chatter, carefree smiles, and a variety of colors as outfits flowed and weaved as students danced. The air was light, and there was little to no hostility between people, any disagreements put aside to enjoy this glorious night. No matter if you were out on the floor or at the side, quietly watching, for this time was for everyone to enjoy and bask in…

Which was kind of what Taruchi was doing: mindlessly watching as everyone danced, settling for paying more attention to the way the music seemed to capture the dancers’ hearts, guiding them along in their movements.

She wasn’t alone at first—it’s only that her constant companion at these kinds of events just disappeared. Somehow, even Idia, the KING of introverts, got dragged away somewhere by someone. Neither of them knew why nor how that happened, but it did.

And she thought she could rely on him to at least stand quietly with her.

In comparison, some distance from her, a conversation had just ended.

“Do visit the Mostro Lounge if you ever come to Night Raven College. I’ll be sure to give you a small discount as thanks for hosting this exchange.”

So the small group dispersed, going separate directions to talk to other people, thereby leading us to the point of this story.

“You look like you want to join in.”

Taruchi slightly jumped at the voice suddenly beside her. Somehow she didn’t notice Azul until he was right there. "Dude, you nearly gave me a heart attack," she said shakily, stepping away from the wall and fixing her dress. “Wait, sorry, what did you say—? Oh! Oh, no, not really…”

It was quite evident that that wasn’t the truth.

“...Is the problem that you can’t dance?”

Taruchi’s crossed her arms, frowning slightly. “Well, I never learned how to. Much less like that,” she gestured to the dancers.

At this, Azul saw an opportunity. He pushed up his glasses and cleared his throat. “In that case, you might be happy to know I’ve studied a bit of humans’ dances, so perhaps I could teach you.”

“You? Know how to dance?” Taruchi appeared dubious.

Azul put a hand on his chest, mimicking offense. “My, I’m hurt. I’ll have you know I take my studies of the human world quite seriously.”

“Fair,” Taruchi sighed. “But what do I have to pay you in return?”

“Oh, I believe it’s a fair deal already. Dancing with you is enough for me.” He smiled, ostensibly genuine.

“Oh, okay,” Taruchi quickly responded.

There was a brief pause as she fully processed his words and had a minor mental meltdown.

“Wait… Wait a second, wha—?”

“The deal is off if you just stand there gawking.” Azul was already walking briskly away to one of the balconies.

Though it was mildly annoying he just walked away, Taruchi was glad he couldn’t see the way her cheeks had heated up. She followed after him, but her head was filled with panicked thoughts: ‘Dancing with you is enough for me’? What does that even mean?! Dancing with me? He’s happy with just dancing… with me? What?!

Cue the internal screaming.

…Can you tell her brain was breaking by the second?

Azul turned around to see her with no trace of her earlier panic, only with a straight face on. “You certainly took your time,” he quipped, crossing his arms.

“I got here, like, 10 seconds after you. Do you age that quickly?” Taruchi retorted in an irritated tone before she realized what she said, her eyes widening. She immediately wanted to bury herself in a hole. “Oh— I am so sorry, I swear I didn’t mean that. It just somehow slipped out—”

“Oh, my,” Azul interrupted, a smirk appearing on his face. "I didn't realize you could be quite so harsh, what with everyone describing you as kind and soft-spoken. I might have taken offense if I wasn’t so amused.” He had the most vexing, overdramatic voice Taruchi had heard this entire night.

…Well, maybe excluding one person. She definitely didn’t want to dance with him.

Taruchi looked back at the way she came. Is it worth it to take dance lessons while dealing with this? Hmm… “Okay, maybe I should call off the deal.”

“No, please, I apologize.” Azul stepped towards her and took her hand. There would be no moment like this one again, he couldn’t let it slip from his grasp so quickly. “I’ll stop and start the lesson. By the way, did I mention that you look beautiful tonight?”

Taruchi rolled her eyes and sighed for the second time that night. “Okay, fine, I won’t call off the deal.”

She knew he had just said that to get her to give in. She tried to seem like she didn’t care too much. But really all she could think about was the fact that he called her beautiful and that he was holding her hand. She could allow herself to imagine for a second… or maybe more than a second. God, she hoped her cheeks weren’t red.

It’s a shame Azul didn’t have the reputation of genuinely meaning what he said, since this time he did mean it—Idia had teased him a while ago for staring at her. He had also realized how thankful he was that the twins weren’t there, lest he suffer the rest of the night. Though this wasn’t completely bad for him, because then he would have a cover to hide his true feelings and he wouldn’t seem vulnerable. At this point it was an automatic thing for him to slip into his “business mode.”

Taruchi didn’t seem enthusiastic, but she agreed. Azul was satisfied with that. “Shall we begin?” he asked, and with her nod, he bowed and kissed her hand.

“Wh-What? Is this part of it?” No matter how much she wanted to hide it, Taruchi was malfunctioning. She was caught completely off guard. Damn him for having charm.

“What kind of dance partner would I be if I didn’t kiss your hand before dancing?” he replied with a calm voice. In all honesty, as far as Azul knew, people just did that in romance books and movies. But it seemed like it worked on Taruchi, so he considered that a win and took a mental note.

“All right, stand straight. You’ll have your hand here,” Azul put her hand on his shoulder, “and mine will be here,” he said, putting his hand on her waist. “As for our other hands…” Azul took her hand in his again and lifted their hands up. They were already closer than Taruchi had imagined, and she was questioning all the decisions she had made to get to this point. “Now, I will lead, and you will follow. Just try to parallel my steps.”

They slowly stepped around the balcony, moving in time with the soft music coming from inside. Between making sure she doesn’t step on his feet and feeling embarrassed because of their proximity, Taruchi couldn’t look up at Azul at all. Even before this moment, she was bad at maintaining eye contact. But now she was dancing with this guy she liked. If she had to look in his eyes, she would—

“You know, I think dance partners are supposed to look at each other.”

Die.

Yup. She felt like dying inside. But she followed his instructions anyway. Even if she felt like her face was going to overheat. She had no clue how Azul looked so composed.

She ends up just studying him. His glasses gave him a different vibe, a more calm one, she thought, more… delicate? Was that the word she was looking for? (She once wondered out loud to Ace and Deuce about how Azul would look with these exact glasses, to which they only blankly stared at her… and Ace subjected her to his teasing.) His hair was kept, giving him a neater look, and it seemed like his view was clearer. Her focus shifted to the mole by his lips. She thought it was a charming feature, though she wasn't exactly sure why…

Azul noticed her observing his face. He would've thought she was judging his looks, and in that case he might've gotten insecure, except that he sensed no ill intentions and her expression remained mostly inscrutable. That is, until she seemed to realize that he was watching her too and she got embarrassed and tensed up. Her eyes stopped roaming and instead held his gaze.

Though to her it looked like her eyes were all he was focusing on, he was mesmerized by all of her. He couldn't help but notice how enchanting she looked under the soft moonlight when he twirled her. When she faced him again, she had a dazzling smile on her face, like she had forgotten the annoyance she held just minutes ago, a smile of pure enjoyment that appeared quite rarely.

It took a lot in Azul not to combust right then and there. It was insane how that smile made him feel. It was just a smile. It didn’t make sense. Still, he wondered what she was smiling about.

Honestly, Taruchi had just always wanted to try being twirled. Plus it was just unexpectedly fun to dance with Azul. It felt awkward at first, but now her nerves calmed down, the silence was comfortable, and she could dance to the music without too much thought.

As the song ended, Azul dipped her, holding her against him and careful not to let her fall. Her gaze had fallen upon the night sky dotted with stars, her eyes seeming to shine just as bright from wonderment, her lips slightly parted when she softly gasped, and all Azul could think was he finally understood what it meant for someone to be breathtaking. He pulled her back up and she flashed a grin at him before looking back at the sky.

“The sky is so clear and the stars are so pretty…!” Taruchi said excitedly. Azul just smiled down at her and softly replied, “They are, aren’t they?” while Taruchi focused elsewhere.

“And the moon…”

“Is absolutely gorgeous.”

“Yeah.” Taruchi’s attention finally fell back on him.

There was a song that would've been perfect right now… What was it?

It was like a scene from a book where one of the leads tried to hide their reddening cheeks, but the other brushed their hair behind their ear and rested their hand on their cheek… Okay, it wasn’t “like” that, it was exactly that.

Right.

“‘Cause you can hear it in the silence”

Was it possible for silence to drown out noise? The music and dancing hadn’t stopped from inside, but Taruchi couldn’t hear any of it.

“You can feel it on the way home”

She hadn’t noticed she was this close to Azul. She hadn’t noticed that he still had one hand on her waist, keeping her close to him. She hadn’t noticed how his cheeks were slightly flushed nor how his focus was all on her. If he wasn’t all she could think of at that moment, would she have noticed the way they were involuntarily gravitating towards each other?

“You can see it with the lights out”

Their hesitation stopped them, held them back a painful few inches away. Did he/she want this as much as she/he did?

But neither flinched away.

“You’re in love”

And they glanced back at each other.

“True love”

And that was enough of an answer.

Azul practically scooped Taruchi into his arms, she was so small, with her arms around his neck to close whatever space was between them. It was the best feeling she had known, feeling like she no longer needed to keep her emotions under control, under wraps to hide them as best she could. For all the daydreams she had, nothing could ever beat what was real and what she could actually feel, and that was the guy holding her and kissing her back.

When they both pulled away, they had red cheeks and the biggest, goofiest grins on their faces. What did you expect? It’s the first kiss, it’s flawless, it’s really something.

Setting Taruchi back on her feet, Azul cleared his throat and fixed his glasses. “Do you want to go back now?”

“Well, I don’t think I’m confident enough in my dancing to dance with anyone else yet, and…” Taruchi said sheepishly, glancing at the distant crowd inside and back at him. “I mostly just want to dance with you again.”

Azul looked stunned for a second before smiling and chuckling. “In that case, I’ll be your partner for another dance.”

*VIBRATING at the thought that we could've had that smut scene with CEO!Azul 👀👀👀*

I might read that CEO!Azul again later today and actually fully immerse myself in the story. Cause the first time I read it, I was in public and had to physically restraint myself from screaming and yelling as the story progresses shshsjsjk--

I think I also sorta forgot the fact that the house had an upper-floor, so I just keep having the image of a bungalow for awhile, until I'm reminded of the scene Azul not wanting darling to go upstairs cause of their broken ankle.

The nursery room was, unexpected but I'm not surprised? Also for some reason there's something that sorta haunt (just bad vibes in general--) me how it is placed in the saferoom, in an even lower level from the ground floor. Also, where'd this man get all those plants is still a mystery to me--

Anyway, yeah, CEO!Azul is a *chef's kiss*. The last scene when Darling called him 'ugly', and everything just snapped and went down hill there really just got me (*º ﾛ º *)!!! A reminder that your writings were the reason why I'm now deep in Octavinelle hell <33

👀 it was so tempting to add in!! It was either going to be drunk sex or sex in the nursery, but I wanted the story to be focused more so on the thriller aspects (with some suggestive themes) rather than include a full smut scene. That, and the next Azul thought has plenty of smut. ;D although smut with CEO!Azul would hit very different… orz

I like to think the second floor isn’t as big or expansive as the first floor, so it essentially just exists as extra space. ^^;;; but picturing it as a bungalow is so nice!! I imagine it as the abstract architecture that’s mostly glass. I remember searching fancy glass home for inspiration on his island house lol.

It was also unexpected for me because it was actually included at the last minute while I was editing. The room was originally meant to be just a panic room, but I felt that that wasn’t very surprising. Somewhat anticlimactic, especially since it’s protected by a retinal scanner and a manual passcode. That much security must be hiding something big… I’m glad it’s haunting!! I wanted it to be eerie if it’s placed in something like a safe room because the point of safe rooms is to feel safe and comfortable. But knowing what other purpose that room will serve makes it feel unsafe. As for the plant mystery, he gets them from the mainland and puts them in a plastic container and is very careful when he swims them over in his octopus form!

The last scene was so fun to write!! Originally, the argument was more vicious and nasty, but as I was writing it I thought, “Why is only the reader suffering? Shouldn’t Azul suffer as well?” And then I thought that it would be so good if he just breaks when the reader suggests he’s not as nice or handsome as he tries to project.

Octavinelle hell is inescapable. We’re trapped here forever now. (*´꒳`*)

Hii it's the anon who sent the ask Abt looking other places for fanfic so I found this longfic called Ocean Mist on Wattpad and there's specifically a chapter called "Ticklish", Yuu finds out Azul is ticklish in that one and it's sooo cute(tbh I just loved the whole fic so much flustered Azul <3)

Additionally, on AO3, you may or may not have found these already because they're not tagged but they're tkl fics

Tickle Attack (You notice the octatrio isn't feeling well, cheer-up tickles ensue)

Tsuisorando Shotsu (I'm not sure if I spelled the name right, but there are quite a few tkl fic chapters in there, I think it's best to just select "read entire work" and command-f "tickl" bc that's what I did to avoid anything potentially explicit) But just in case you don't want to come across anything like that, there's the chapter 'Our Lovable Octopus' which might have had one vague explicit implication but I don't think there was anything major and the tickling was wholly sfw

A Fine Line Between - I just liked this fic in general the M isn't for any sexual content, and there's a tkl scene (if you wanna skip to just that part, I'd recommend just clicking read entire work and command-f 'tickl')

Also, I'm not sure if you already know this (probably do, but just in case) there's some fics w/Azul that were made in 2023)

On Wattpad, NGL I just looked up 'twst tickl' and sifted through the stuff I got so sorry that I couldn't rec much stuff, also I saw this one that was a transcript of tkl audios but there was an explicit chapter in there meaning this was probably a kink for them so I clicked out)

Ffn's mostly AO3 cross posting so there isn't anything there you wouldn't find on AO3 (I'm saying this to myself because I was about to check only to realize that everything there's on AO3, sorry)

Tbh I mostly looked for every single fic I could find on AO3 and then ended up also finding sfw tkl scenes in the process (I also command F'd a bunch of longfics) so I can mostly just say specific scenes from certain fics sryyy

Hi, hello, it me, yeah I’m back. Before I get started talking about what I drop in for I just wanted to say, I absolutely love your art😍 every day I look forward to seeing your posts. You have change my POV on oc x cannon with Daggie. They are just so cute and silly I want to put them in a pancake. But anyways, your art has inspired me to make many twst oc of my own(and by many I mean 2 maybe three idk yet) but I only have a design for one of them

This is Grayson, he my baby and I love him. I’ve only drawn him a couple of times but idk where I put them 🤷🏻 whoops-

From this picture(it’s like two months old) his design has changed a bit. But still somewhat like that.

but what I came here to talk about is the super silly friendship he has with some characters👏

just to be clear these friendships I’m going to write out are still under development, lots of things are gonna change as I finalize his character!

Okay, to start off,

-Ruggie: they are like best friends, since they are in the same class they’ll study and work together. Grayson likes to randomly visit Savanaclaw and bring snacks and donuts and just food in general. I see them teasing the first years a lot(it’s a normal thing) and overall having a very wholesome bond.

-Floyd: somewhat the same with Ruggie but a bit more silly. Grayson and Floyd have been friends since childhood. They grew up in the same area and went to the same schools. But Grayson being a new addition to the group (Floyd, Jade, and azul) he was a bit overwhelming for them, except Floyd, they matched each others energy. If one of them did something bad so did the other.

-Epel: Epel is Grayson’s favorite first year and he makes that very clear to the others. So clear that Adeuce gets jealous. But Grayson took a liking to epel, 1) because Grayson likes small colorful things, and 2) Epel told him that he was having a had time fitting in, epel didnt really know how to act proper, or wear fancy clothes. But Grayson didn’t know so well either but having 4 sisters he had a few tricks he knew so he offered to help. And thus they became friends👏👏

okay last one

-Kailm: They are an equation for disaster. When Kailm is planing a party, Oh well, Grayson gonna make him take it a step further. “Hey Grayson what do ya think ‘bout the balloons?!”

“Hm, how about you take that ballon arch over there, get more of it, and line it all up along the path. Oh and we need some pyro effects!”

yeah that’s how it goes and them Jamil has to child lock EVERYTHING from both of them.

but anyways, Grayson still has some construction that needs to be finished. But yeah, he’s not my oc x cannon oc I’m still figuring that one out. But I hope you enjoyed listening to me ramble about my child. I will see you in the comments of your posts 🫡
