lullabies
(lyney, freminet)
summary: tickling isn't always a weakness.
a/n: alr this one got kinda hurt/comfort-y. i wouldn't say it's angst though just know fremi is kinda sad through the whole thing lol
[this is a sfw tickle fic!]
・・・・・・・・・・・・
Freminet often feels detached from the world.
It’s all he knows how to be. In the House of the Hearth, there’s no room for error. He has to be strong. He can’t have any weaknesses.
(He does. He has lots of them. He cries when it rains sometimes, he freezes under extreme pressure. He’s just a pathetic child, deep down.)
So he’s built up walls, so many, too many for even him to count, and even if someone, somehow, manages to break through one, they aren’t even close to knowing him. He likes it that way. He hates when attention is on him. He doesn’t want to be known.
(Yes he does. He’s so, so lonely.)
He’s not weak. How can he be, with so much protection?
(He whispers those words to himself late at night, trying to convince whoever may be listening.)
But when he’s underwater, things feel a little less overwhelming. He can forget about it all, even if just for a few minutes. The creatures down there don’t want to hurt him. They aren’t going to abandon him.
(And yet Father is still here, and Lyney and Lynette. He’s slowly starting to wonder if, maybe, they mean it when they say they’ll stay. After all, they’ve gotten past most of his meticulously crafted walls. Someone who doesn’t care wouldn’t spend all that effort on him, would they?)
Freminet is on the couch one gloomy day, watching Pers toddle around the room, when Lyney suddenly sits beside him, throwing his arms around his shoulders.
“What’s wrong, dear Freminet?” is all he asks.
Freminet hums, closing his eyes. He feels himself beginning to lean into the touch, but he quickly stops himself. “...I’m fine,” he says.
Lyney sighs. “Come on, there’s no use lying. I can see right through you.”
“Nothing’s wrong.” It’s mostly true. It’s not that nothing is wrong, it’s just that he doesn’t know what’s wrong. He gets days like this a lot.
“Cheer up,” Lyney says with a poke to his side, seemingly realising he won’t get any answers. Freminet flinches, tensing up. “Oh?”
Freminet blinks up at his older brother, confused. Lyney pokes him again, as if that explains anything. Freminet jumps again.
Ah. He sees where this is going.
“Freminet,” Lyney starts, a smile growing on his face. “Are you ticklish?”
“No,” answers Freminet immediately.
More fingers start prodding at his sides, making Freminet squirm almost uncomfortably. “Are you sure—”
“I’m not ticklish,” Freminet says, a bit more forcefully than he had intended, then shrinks in on himself.
Lyney blinks. “O-oh,” he says, and Freminet feels a twinge of pride at knowing he’s managed to make Lyney stutter. “My apologies, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”
Freminet stares down at his hands in his lap. “I’m not weak,” he mumbles, not looking up.
“Hm?” Lyney tilts his head, as though he hadn’t heard correctly.
Freminet squeezes his eyes shut. “It’s a weakness. I…don’t like it. I’m not weak.”
He knows it’s a silly thing to say, especially knowing that Lyney himself is ticklish, too. The difference, though, is that Lyney is so much stronger, it hardly has any effect on his skill. But Freminet…
He’s not strong enough. He can’t afford something as childish as being ticklish.
(He feels even more embarrassed about it knowing that this is Lyney, the same person who has read him fairytales and acted out sappy bedtime stories for him; things that are arguably more childish.)
Ugh. He wants to put his diving helmet on and hide for days.
“Freminet,” Lyney begins, sounding a bit amused. It only makes Freminet want to hide even more. “Being ticklish doesn’t make you weak. It’s fun, between people who care about each other.”
Freminet knows he’s right, but still…
“I won’t tickle you if you don’t want me to,” Lyney continues, “but please, don’t say things like that. You’re not weak, alright?”
Freminet is quiet for a long time. Lyney stays put the whole time.
“...Is it really fun?” Freminet asks finally, in such a tiny voice that he’s surprised Lyney can understand it.
His brother laughs. “I suppose, for some people. It depends who you ask, I guess.”
Freminet thinks to when he was younger — to when his mother would tickle him on occasion, to when he would watch his friends get into tickle fights and how he would smile along with them even though they weren’t touching him. He thinks about watching Lyney and Lynette tickle each other, and suddenly the gloominess in his chest is replaced by longing, so strong it’s almost painful.
“Okay,” he whispers. “You can. Tickle me. If you want.”
He regrets those words as soon as they leave his mouth — what if Lyney doesn’t want to? What if he just laughs and walks away? What if—
All his worries are cut off by fingers crawling across his stomach over his shirt, and he doesn’t have time to think before he’s choking back giggles.
“It’s okay,” Lyney teases. “You can laugh.”
So he does. It’s been so long that Freminet himself forgot what it sounded like. He squeaks as Lyney’s hand travels along his stomach, then suddenly dances along his sides up to his ribs, making him burst into a fit of proper laughter.
Lyney coos. “I can’t believe you’ve been hiding this from me all this time! You really do need to laugh more, Freminet, it’s so cute.”
“B-behe quihihiet,” Freminet whines, covering his blushing face with his hands. He squirms, moving closer to Lyney as he does. “Wait, wahahait, wait!”
Lyney stops, one hand resting on his side and the other on his ribs. “Yes?”
“Ihit tickles,” Freminet chokes out.
“Do you want me to stop?” Lyney’s fingertips press into his skin gently, making him squeal.
Still…
“...No.”
For the first time in a long time, Freminet feels like he’s in his own body again.

Don't be shy!
Tumblr media
A/N: I wrote this at 6am after just waking up. Just a small drabble, so sorry if it isn't that good! Freminet is my favourite genshin character already. I relate to him so bad and he's so cute ;-; anyways, I hope you enjoy it! Reblogs are always appreciated <3
(NOT A SHIP POST!)
"Come now, Freminet~"
The magician's cooing voice barely penetrated the noise-cancelling effects of Freminet's helmet, and his teasing tone of voice most certainly wasn't convincing him to take it off.
"Let me see that smile. Just a little one! I know you have it in you."
Lyney had been teasing his little brother all day. Pinching his cheeks, calling him cute, and poking at him to make him smile. It was that last thing that had caused Freminet to put up his helmet, hiding himself from the evil, flustering clutches of his older brother. But of course — that alone didn't dissuade Lyney from doing what a brother does best.
Lyney started to prod at Freminet's tummy, and the diver immediately tried to defend himself by curling up. But all that did was cause Lyney's offending fingers to switch to tickling the boy's side. "Tickle tickle!~" He cooed, finding a way under Freminet's jacket to skitter his nails along his skin directly. He could hear his little brother's giggles, however muffled by the helmet. "Does it tickle, Freminet? Oooh, I can imagine the cute little smile you must have now. Your cheeks would be bright pink, and you'd have those adorable little dimples..."
"Lyneeehey..." A whine rang out from Freminet. The front screen on his helmet had changed now, showing a pixelated depiction of a laughing face. The irony of Freminet's own helmet he'd put up for defence giving him away using its facial recognition made Lyney smile.
"Yes, my dear brother?" Lyney's hands wandered over to Freminet's tummy again, scribbling and pinching at the slightly pudgy skin. His squirming increased in intensity and he latched onto Lyney's wrists, but made no effort to push him away. "I'll keep tickle-tickle-tickling you until you show me your face."
Another whine sounded and Lyney started to circle Freminet's navel, taking his sweet time tickling the skin around it as the Diver started to panic upon realising where he was going. "Lyhyney!"
"Hmm? Did you say something? I'm afraid I can't hear you with that helmet up~"
After another moment of slow circles around Freminet's bellybutton, the boy reached up, his arms trembling slightly as he took off the helmet, sliding it off of his head and letting it drop next to him. And with that, his face was on full display.
"There he is!" Lyney chuckled, ceasing the tickling in favour of cupping Freminet's cheeks in his hands and peppering kisses all over the boy's face. "The cutest little brother in all of Fontaine... Aren't you just so precious?~"
Freminet could feel his already warm face heat up even more in the wake of even more teasing from Lyney. "A-ahare you happy now...?"
"Very." The magician nodded, nuzzling their noses together, eliciting a giggle from the both of them. But then out of nowhere, the circling around Freminet's navel started again.
"Ahah—! W-wait! I-Ihi ahahalready shohowed you my fahace!!"
"Mhm. You did, and I'm so proud of you, little brother. But now, I want to see what kind of face you make when I do this~"
"NohoOHOHAHA! N-NOHohot theHEHERE!"
"So cute. You like it here, hm? Riiiiight here? Maybe I'll stay in this spot for a looong time, then...~"

Requests - Open!
For the first time I’m going to try my hand at some longer requests that aren’t HCs. I’ve been stuck thinking of what to write since everyone has written it already.
Obviously since I can’t handle writing a full fic, here are some rules. 🤭
Please don’t expect it to be written within a week or two, I work full time 😭
The writing will be most likely 3-4 paragraphs, unless I really like the idea
Requires a lee, ler and a scenario/prompt (or an image, Sezzie loves those 😳)
I won’t write anything that doesn’t make me feel inspired
Fandoms I can write for are: Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Project Sekai, Hades, FFXIV, Granblue Fantasy, Obey Me
Will NOT be writing: Furry, x Reader, children, NSFW scenarios (romantic or suggestiveness is fine though)
Be kind 😌
Enjoy a general OTP list below (not for any reason or anything eheh) 👀
Pairings I adore 🥰
Alhaitham/Kaveh (Genshin)
Ayato/Thoma (Genshin)
Neuvillette/Wriothesley (Genshin)
Childe/Zhongli (Genshin)
Dr Ratio/Aventurine (HSR)
Dan Heng/Caelus (HSR)
Dan Heng/Jing Yuan (HSR)
Acheron & Aventurine (HSR, non-romantic)
Gallagher/Sunday (HSR)
Sunday & Robin (HSR, family not romantic lol)
WoL/G’raha Tia (FFXIV)
Emet-Selch/Hythlodaeus (FFXIV) (Maybe Azem/WoL too hehe)
Themis/Ericthonios (FFXIV)
Airi/Shizuku (Project Sekai)
Akito/Toya (Project Sekai)
Sandalphon/Lucio(Lucifer) (Granblue Fantasy)

Study Break!
Riddle & Ace & Chenya (TWST)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n: WOOOO another twst fic done! and its lee riddle!! surprisingly enough, i actually got a lot of lee riddle requests (which i dont blame u nom nom) so im planning to write those requests in the future. still, here i combined two of them so i hope u dont mind! this was actually meant to be posted much sooner but well.. got sidetracked. plus, i wanted to write another fic before i posted this one. (that did not happen) ANYWAY, enjoy!
summary: when ace is forced to study with riddle, he finds that things may not be so bad after-all when a friend of riddle’s comes to visit!
word count: 1.5k
——
“Urghhh..” Ace groaned to himself. “This sucks..” Slouching over his papers, he wanted nothing more than to just go back to his room and sleep for ten years.
See, it was his fault, wasn’t it? That he had to waste three hours of his day on schoolwork instead of doing literally anything else. It’s true that he did get a.. well, less than favorable score on his test, but no! What he blamed himself on was the fact he had accidentally let Riddle see it!
And now, he was here, in the Heartslabyul Lounge, textbooks as far as the eye can see (or really, only covering the table) and Riddle drilling lesson after lesson into his brain. He was sure that if he stayed there a second longer, his brain would quite literally melt.
He hated that Riddle was actually a really good tutor. This wasn’t Ace’s first time getting a tutoring session with the Housewarden, despite the other’s busy schedule. But.. he had to be in the mood to study, you know?
“Do you get it, Ace? This is important,” Riddle asked, causing another groan to pass through the freshman’s lips.
“Yes… but..” He said, knowing full well that he hadn't been listening to Riddle for the past five minutes. “Can’t we just take a small break?”
“Not when you haven’t been listening to me at all. Do you really think you’re deserving of a break?” Riddle narrowed his eyes, his arms crossed. Ace, on the other hand, averted his eyes after getting through his initial shock.
“So you noticed..”
“Of course I did.”
“I just can’t focus! It’s just one test. I’ll do better on the next one.” Ace shrugged, looking out the window. He could be doing other things right now. Should he just.. say he needs to go to the bathroom and just leave? No, it’s Riddle. He would wait until Ace got back and punish him. And no one wanted to be on the receiving end of Riddle’s punishments.
“But you didn’t do well on this one. Tell me, what will you do if this material shows up on the final exam?” Riddle questioned, doubtful.
“Eh..”
“Hehe, playing teacher?” A voice suddenly cut out, startling the two. Ace jerked his head over towards the source to see.. a floating head?!
“Ah! It’s you!” What was his name? Arte… Pinky..? Huh???
“Chenya,” Riddle sighed, then looked up, a glare directed at him, rather than Ace. “Stop using your signature spell to scare others.”
“Hehe.” Chenya winked, then the rest of his body appeared.
“Freaky…” Ace mumbled to himself, still recovering from his heart attack earlier. How did he get in here anyway? When did he get here?
“What are you doing here?” Riddle asked the RSA student.
“Can’t I just visit my friends~?” Chenya put his hands behind his head, casually.
Riddle pinched the bridge of his nose. “I’m assuming you’ve already met with Trey then?”
“Nope,” Chenya started, popping the p. “I actually thought I was gonna see you two together. You two used to be like, attached at the hip.”
“We were not.” Riddle looked away.
“Yeah, yeah. Whatcha doing?” He said, half-walking, half-skipping over to the table. Sevens, him and Floyd would get along swimmingly— no pun intended.
“As you can see, I’m tutoring one of my freshmen. He got an unacceptable grade on his last test and I am going to ensure that doesn’t happen again,” Riddle explains, gesturing at the textbooks sprawled about on the table.
“Way to put all my business out there, Housewarden..” Ace muttered under his breath. Riddle pointedly ignored him.
“Looks like he’s been working hard. I heard him ask for a break! Why not give the little freshie one?”
“Little freshie?!” Ace can hardly be grateful for Chenya trying to convince the housewarden to give Ace a break when he’s called that! Still.. a break would be nice.
Riddle looks between the two, a hopeful glint in each of their eyes.
Then, he sighed. “Fine. I will permit silent reading for ten minutes,” He responded, at last, handing him an alchemy textbook.
“Eh?! That’s not a break at all!” Ace exclaimed, before he could help it. He withdrew slightly at the glare that Riddle sent him.
“Yeah. I mean, like, something away from studying. Come on, the Chenya is visiting, do you think I’d wanna watch you two studying?” Chenya whined, throwing his arms out. He seemed very.. mischievous. Clearly, this was not his first rodeo.
“And what do you suggest?” Riddle raised a brow.
“I know!” Chenya declared, like he had been waiting for it, then he set his sights on Ace. Ace startled when Chenya started walking towards him, getting closer and cupping his ear to whisper into it.
Ace lit up while Riddle grimaced. Ace looked at the housewarden, newfound fervor in his demeanor. Ace had a mission and he could tell Riddle was not looking forward to finding out what it was.
“What are you two scheming over there?” Riddle demanded and Chenya shook, like he forgot the other was there. Then, the same fervor was in his eyes.
“Get him!” Chenya shouted, suddenly, as if Ace were a soldier or a knight or… something. Still, Ace obliged, running to pounce Riddle. Riddle didn’t seem to stop him, even though he very well could have, so the freshman could tell that he was curious about where this was going to go.
Then, Ace wiggled his fingers on Riddle’s sides and Chenya joined in, tickling Riddle’s ribs and armpits.
“H-huh?! Unhahand me!”
“No way! You were right, he is ticklish!” Ace exclaimed, almost incredulously.
“Hehe, isn’t he?” Chenya giggled. And that’s when it seemed to click in Riddle’s mind that that’s what they were whispering about. Riddle bit his lip, trying to resist but it was all over before he even began.
“Lehehehet gohoho!” Riddle laughed, an unwilling blush rising to his cheeks. Ignoring all that Riddle was, he looked so.. cute and innocent here.
“Nuh uh! This is how I want to spend my break!” Ace started poking his fingers in between Riddle’s ribs, loudly and obnoxiously singing some classical music, like Riddle was a piano. He knew he would probably die later, but… it was worth it.
When he hit a particular sensitive spot on his ribs, Riddle actually snorted. Yep. Definitely worth it.
Chenya was squeezing Riddle’s thighs, lightly grazing the tops of his knees all the while.
“You twohohoho, stahahap!” Riddle cried, squirming and trying to grab his magic pen from his pocket. That is, until Ace started scratching at Riddle’s waist, grazing his sides just barely, but enough to drive him mad.
“No way! Not when I found out my housewarden is,” Ace started, teasingly. “…this ticklish~” He enunciated his words with a poke to his side, laughing at how Riddle jolted each time.
“Teehee, he is just as ticklish as he was when he was little! So cuteee!” Chenya cooed, his slender fingers exploring Riddle’s tummy and bellybutton.
“Shuhuhut uhuhup!” Riddle screeched, his face bright red and Ace wasn’t really sure whether it was from embarrassment or anger. Maybe both. Maybe this shouldn’t go on much longer, he thought, thinking back about the times Riddle had used his unique magic on him. Riddle was better about it now, but he definitely still had his limits.
“Seems like you’re having fun?” A voice called out of seemingly nowhere. All three heads jerked towards the sound, spotting Trey in the doorway.
“Trehehehey! Mahahahake theheheem stohop!” Riddle giggled, finally giving up on trying to break free as he looked at Trey who chuckled in response.
“Alright, don’t you guys think he’s had enough?” Trey asked, walking closer to them but never actually stopping. Ace looked at his house warden and backed away. Chenya got in a few more pokes in before he stopped, as well, deciding to jog over to Trey.
“Trey! Your best friend is here!” He exclaimed, pointing at himself and winking. A fond smile made its way onto Trey’s face and Ace offhandedly wonders about the history between the three.
It is almost silent for a few moments, save for Riddle exhaling slowly and deeply.
“I hope that made for a sufficient break.” Riddle glared at the two, but especially Ace. Likely for giving into Chenya’s whims, which.. fair, but shouldn’t he be more angry at Chenya who suggested tickling him in the first place?!
“It definitely did, Housewarden!” Ace admitted, pushing any fear of retaliation that he might’ve had, recalling the moments just now. If Riddle hadn’t collared him, he must be safe, right? And well, it’s Riddle. Riddle would never do something so petty like tickle him back.
“Whatever. Let’s just get back to learning. And there will be no breaks until we are finished,” The Housewarden declares, sitting up to pick up one of the textbooks on the table. However, he scooted closer towards Ace, so that they were more diagonal than across.
Ace decided not to think about it too much. That is, until Riddle began poking him in the side every time he lost focus or got an answer wrong.
He supposed that this was what he deserved, so he didn't say anything. At least pokes in the side were all it was…
He shivered at the thought of Riddle finding out about how embarrassingly ticklish he was, but he’ll save that for another day! Now, he just has to get through this tutoring session… Ughhhh…

Types Of Writer’s Block (And How To Fix Them)
1. High inspiration, low motivation. You have so many ideas to write, but you just don’t have the motivation to actually get them down, and even if you can make yourself start writing it you’ll often find yourself getting distracted or disengaged in favour of imagining everything playing out
Try just bullet pointing the ideas you have instead of writing them properly, especially if you won’t remember it afterwards if you don’t. At least you’ll have the ideas ready to use when you have the motivation later on
2. Low inspiration, high motivation. You’re all prepared, you’re so pumped to write, you open your document aaaaand… three hours later, that cursor is still blinking at the top of a blank page
RIP pantsers but this is where plotting wins out; refer back to your plans and figure out where to go from here. You can also use your bullet points from the last point if this is applicable
3. No inspiration, no motivation. You don’t have any ideas, you don’t feel like writing, all in all everything is just sucky when you think about it
Make a deal with yourself; usually when I’m feeling this way I can tell myself “Okay, just write anyway for ten minutes and after that, if you really want to stop, you can stop” and then once my ten minutes is up I’ve often found my flow. Just remember that, if you still don’t want to keep writing after your ten minutes is up, don’t keep writing anyway and break your deal - it’ll be harder to make deals with yourself in future if your brain knows you don’t honour them
4. Can’t bridge the gap. When you’re stuck on this one sentence/paragraph that you just don’t know how to progress through. Until you figure it out, productivity has slowed to a halt
Mark it up, bullet point what you want to happen here, then move on. A lot of people don’t know how to keep writing after skipping a part because they don’t know exactly what happened to lead up to this moment - but you have a general idea just like you do for everything else you’re writing, and that’s enough. Just keep it generic and know you can go back to edit later, at the same time as when you’re filling in the blank. It’ll give editing you a clear purpose, if nothing else
5. Perfectionism and self-doubt. You don’t think your writing is perfect first time, so you struggle to accept that it’s anything better than a total failure. Whether or not you’re aware of the fact that this is an unrealistic standard makes no difference
Perfection is stagnant. If you write the perfect story, which would require you to turn a good story into something objective rather than subjective, then after that you’d never write again, because nothing will ever meet that standard again. That or you would only ever write the same kind of stories over and over, never growing or developing as a writer. If you’re looking back on your writing and saying “This is so bad, I hate it”, that’s generally a good thing; it means you’ve grown and improved. Maybe your current writing isn’t bad, if just matched your skill level at the time, and since then you’re able to maintain a higher standard since you’ve learned more about your craft as time went on

On The House!
Summary: Azul's always seemed to break his "no free lunch" rule with you. A free lunch here, tutoring there, and whatnot. But it's only after you two start dating that you realize why.
Notes: Jai if you see this TYYYY YOU ARE A GENIUSS RAGGHHH, also there's one brief innuendo of "punishment" by the reader bc I feel like teenagers would absolutely make innuendos - source: me and my friends, and also bc the reader's gotta annoy Azul somehow
Everyone knew that Azul Ashengrotto was notoriously stingy. He was a firm believer that if you wanted to cross a bridge, you had to pay the toll. He never gave anything for free.
Except with you. Azul tutored you quite a few times, and he'd even get you snacks while he was at it. Why? Was he trying to scam you?
As you chewed on a piece of the candy he'd given you, you couldn't help but ask.
"Hey, Azul," you said. "Can I ask why you're giving me all this free stuff?"
Azul's eyes widened a bit.
"It's of irrelevance," he said.
Weird. He didn't usually get defensive this quickly. Maybe he was just upset because you'd caught him trying to scam you?
"Is this some weird plan to sucker me into a contract?" You asked, eyes narrowed. "Because I'm not signing anything."
Azul seemed to get irritated at that, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"No, no, I assure you, that isn't the case," he said.
Why was he getting defensive like this? That wasn't usually how he reacted to your prodding. There was probably something you didn't know.
Scratch that, there was definitely something you didn't know.
Whatever. You'd just have to find out later, it seemed.
"Fine, fine," you said. "But-"
Azul rolled his eyes, and you couldn't help but feel a sense of awe that you got to see him so openly annoyed.
"I'm watching, Azul. You'd better not scan me, or else I'll punish you, okay?"
Azul groaned.
"What sort of phrasing is that?" He asked. "You aren't powerful enough to enforce anything upon me either way!"
"But it's funny!"
"Hmph, cretin."
And yet, you couldn't help but wonder, if Azul really thought you were a cretin, why did he give you so much free stuff?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time passed, and things between you and Azul changed. You'd even begin dating. He still kept giving you free stuff though.
Why? How was it that he could call you an absolute cretin and then shove a bowl of soup cooked by him your way in the same breath?
But then, one day, you realized why he did it.
It was to show his affection.
In hindsight, it should've been obvious. Everyone had some form of expressing their care for others, right? And this was Azul's. It only made sense.
You were going to ask him about it. Mostly because his reaction would be fun.
"Hey, remember that time I asked you why you gave me free stuff so much?" You said one day while the two of you were cuddled together in his bed.
Azul just silently pulled back the hand you'd used for emphasis back to his head, shooting you a bleary glare.
"Mm," he said in what was probably an affirmative. You could never be too sure though. Not with a tired Azul. For all you knew, he could just be expressing his annoyance with the fact that you weren't giving him enough headpats.
"Well, I think you were always doing it to show your looooove."
That seemed to wake Azul up.
Hastily, he swatted away your hand - though you could tell he wanted it back right after, turning away from you with a huff.
"That's utterly preposterous!" He said, though his cheeks were flushed. "I certainly wasn't pining after you like some buffoon!"
He absolutely was. He showed you he loved you since way back then, while all his free tutoring sessions and carefully prepared meals.
"Are you embarrassed about it, Azul?" You said. "Don't me. I think it's cute, you know."
Azul scowled.
"You're a mongrel," he said, before standing up with a sigh. "I'll make you some food, perhaps the added energy will help restore your ordinary intellect."
That actually sounded like Azul was calling you smart and stupid at the same time. Bravo, Azul. Impressive.
Wait. He was doing it again!
"And you're making this because you looove me, right?" You said, batting your eyelashes.
"Think whatever you wish," he said. "But we ought to get back to bed once you finish your food."
He just wanted to cuddle, didn't he?
"Anything for you."
And as Azul asked you what you wanted for dinner, you could tell that he'd do anything for you as well.
Hey! I love your writing and was wondering if I could please request something myself?
Perhaps something where the reader finds out Azul is ticklish?
No pressure ofc^^ I’ll enjoy anything you write. Thank you!
- 🐙
Of course, thank youu for the request! I love the idea of him getting sooo embarrassed and ofc teasingly "oblivious"!reader bc I'm a sucker for flustered Azul and of course PININGGG
That's Preposterous!
Summary: Azul always seems so- perfect, always calm and in control. So when you find a new way to break his composure, you can't help but tease him about it.
Notes: So lovely to write, tw for tickling in case it's a trigger for you
Azul was always calm. Always in control. There was no denying that. You loved that side of him, all those talents, his voice, his grades - all obtained through hard work.
But you also loved to see the little cracks in his composure. The Azul beneath the mask of a perfect businessman. You'd made a little mental scrapbook of all these occasions, like you he blushed when you called him beautiful, or the way he got pouty whenever someone talked about his mess-ups during flight class. You seriously loved seeing those little slip ups.
...Seven, you were so crushing on him. You could practically hear Ace laughing at you for not just confessing already. But that wouldn't happen, because Azul would probably just reject you on the spot. He always talked about how dumb love was, after all.
For now, you'd just have to be satisfied with continuing to try and break through his composure. And hey, sometimes, it worked!
Like now. You were studying with him in the as, and while trying to reach for a book behind Azul, and you accidentally grazed his midsection.
The yelp you received was priceless.
"Huh?" You asked, though a second later, it was pretty apparent what happened. You could feel the grin stretch across your face. Getting that book wasn't important. Right now, you'd just found a new way to break through Azul's composure.
"Azul."
It was lilting, teasing, even, and Azul pretty quickly began to realize what you'd realized.
Azul Ashengrotto was ticklish? Another weakness to add to your little mental scrapbook.
"Is something wrong, Azul?" You asked in the most innocent-sounding voice you could muster.
Azul's eyes narrowed.
"I'm certain you understand the issue," he said, though no amount of defensiveness could hide the way his cheeks were turning red.
Somehow, you felt even more smug than before. This was going to be fun.
"No, no," you said. "Something has to be wrong! Maybe, you're sick? Let me check your temperature."
And so, you skittered your fingers all over his midsection, making it pretty evident that you did not, in fact, think he was sick, and were simply trying to mess with him, because people usually didn't usually check for a fever on the stomach.
Azul kept his lips stubbornly pressed shut, though he still ended up letting out a yelp right before he pushed your hands away.
"C-Cease this at once," he said, cheeks now bright red.
"Why?" You asked, and just as he was about to retort, you poked at his stomach. "Are you sore here or something? If so, I can always help!"
You sounded so innocent there it was actually impressive. Azul, meanwhile, couldn't hold in his laughter anymore.
"S-Shut it, you a-absolute-" Azul cut himself off with laughter. "Creti- Gah!"
Just as he was about to call you a cretin, you upped your attack, sending him into a full-on giggling fit.
"Really, Azul, tell me, what's happening? Why exactly are you laughing so hard? Did I say something funny?"
Azul glared at you as if to say 'How the fuck do you expect me to reply when I'm laughing too hard to talk', though it was hard to take him seriously when his cheeks were bright red and he had the biggest - forced, but still - smile on his face.
You still slowed down. You didn't want to actually cause him pain, after all. As much as you hated to admit it, you loved him way too much for that.
Finally slowing your assault, you shot Azul what was probably one of the coolest looking impish grins of all time.
"So," you started. "Is something wrong, Azul?"
It seemed like the dots had finally connected in Azul's brain. There was only one way to get out of this.
He'd have to admit he was ticklish.
"I-I'm afraid I'm rather..." He trailed off, ducking his head in embarrassment. You weren't having any of that. You scratched a finger under his chin, making him look up with a yelp. "Ticklish."
His face was bright red, eyes looking anywhere but you, and his hair ruffled. You couldn't help but grin as you finally removed your fingers. He looked so- mesmerizing like this.
"Glad to see you admitted it," you said, because the oblivious act had served it's purpose.
Azul just glared at you, but the pout on his face made it much less intimidating.
"Don't speak a word of this to anyone," he said. "Do you understand- Gah!"
You cut him off with a quick poke, and he looked at you incredulously.
"Aww, is Azul embarrassed that he-"
"Get out!" He said, voice cracking midway. He was really embarrassed about this, wasn't he?
You were going to stop for now, though. Or else you feared he might just explode considering how red his face was getting.
"Fine, fine."
As you left the office, though, you managed to catch a glimpse of Azul's fond smile, his little goodbye wave while he thought no one was looking.
