we've always seen jade jealous of floyd and reader's relationship. but what if we reversed, floyd is the jealous one. do you think that's possible? if it is possible, what would floyd do?

:O it's very possible for a jealous Floyd!!! I like to think he's a bit of a brat about it. Actually,,,, both eels are sort of spoiled brats. ^^;;; they operate under the assumption that they can have and get anything they want. Floyd has a line for one of his birthdays in which he essentially tells people it's his birthday just so they'd give him a gift. T_T and then there's the story behind the twins' earrings and how they wanted those scales so badly that they fought the sturgeon for them and took them as a prize of sorts.

So I think they aren't really used to hearing the word 'no' or being told they can't have something. Their parents obviously dote on them, with their mother calling them nearly every day to check in and chat because she's prone to worrying. And then there's also the fact that birthdays are always very extravagant events in their family.

With that in mind, I imagine Floyd just gets really huffy and pouty when he sees you and Jade being too friendly for his liking. Maybe he even walks up to the both of you and forces himself between you just to physically distance Jade. Knowing Jade's proclivity for pushing buttons, he probably delights in Floyd's envy and does everything he can just to see how far he can push his brother. Jade will cozy up to you in the library, get your lunch for you, offer to feed you, stray so close into mate territory, and it drives Floyd mad. It should be Floyd who gets to bring you meals or beat others up after they took the last of your favorite sweet treat. Jade's just getting in the way.

Jade's way of thinking when he's jealous is extreme but also very clinical: If the thing causing a problem is swiftly removed, I can be happy again. Floyd doesn't really think that way. Whereas Jade has murder on his mind, Floyd just thinks of his brother as an annoying pest for getting between him and Shrimpy. Like all siblings do, they'll bicker and fight. Most of it is harmless. A little scathing, but it doesn't get out of hand. Not yet, at least.

Of course there's only so much Floyd can take before his annoyance bleeds into anger and then there's more bite to his words, more strength in his fists. The twins don't fight often, but when they do it's a nasty ordeal. Floyd's smart enough to know not to act like that around you, especially since he doesn't want to scare you away if you see him at his most violent, and Jade knows this, which is precisely why he'll push his brother to that breaking point. >_<

Mostly, though, I think Floyd just sulks. Jealousy is an exhausting emotion and Floyd doesn't like being bogged down by something so heavy all the time. As a result, it'll show in his moods. Sometimes you'll come up to him and smile that cute smile of yours, but even then he just can't be bothered to entertain if you smell like Jade all the time. He'll pat you on the head and apologize, saying he's not in the mood to play today. And then he's stalking off to find peace in tranquil solitude.

He'll feel better tomorrow. Maybe then he'll have you all to himself.

You try to plead and reason with him, apologizing over and over, but he won’t have any of it when he harshly parts your legs.

Orca mers are usually such sweet, social creatures, but this doesn't apply to Rollo. Not since he was taken from his pod and put in captivity. He's quite gloomy, spending his days in solitude in his enclosure. When his only form of stimulation is swimming in laps and occasionally interacting with humans (even though he'd rather not), it makes sense that he'd gradually grow irritable over time. But there's one human he softens around and that's you. You always make his situation feel just a little less dismal whenever you're around, and he's grown to appreciate you and the little things you do to make his indefinite stay at the research lab tolerable.

Maybe he's kept there for breeding purposes so that they can breed and observe more orca mers in captivity. It's your job to get him relaxed enough so that you can collect sperm samples from him, and Rollo, despite his hatred and distrust of humans, feels like he's living a wonderful dream as he floats on his back in the water while you do your thing. Hehe maybe he isn't satisfied with this and decides that he'll just give you as many samples as you want (all inside, of course). <3 and he's so much bigger and stronger than you, so there's not much you can do when he props himself up in the shallow ledge and pins you down with his weight.

At the very least, he should be allowed this singular pleasure after all he's had to endure: the loneliness, the captivity, the separation, the tragedy of losing his little brother to the hands of humans... You try to tell him that it won't fit, that he can't do this, that he's supposed to listen and let you do it the right way, but Rollo disagrees. What do you mean 'the right way'? Obviously, this is the right way—the real way when it comes to copulation. And he's being sweet and gentle; unlike your kind, he isn't a monster. So there's really no reason for you to cry and struggle.

As long as your on the Rollo train... any other Rollo Au! Thoughts?

I have an au idea for a ram hybrid Rollo x wolf hybrid shepherd Reader. It follows Rollo who grows up alongside Reader after being taken in as an orphan and is raised as a sacrificial lamb for the land's god (who I think will be Malleus >:D). But Rollo and Reader are so attached and neither wants to lose the other, so it's a story filled with angst-tinged romance.

I want to take inspiration from "Mary had a little lamb," but I also want to use that nursery rhyme in a Kabukimono fic. T_T waaaaa I can't choose!!! orz perhaps I will just use it for both. ^^;;;

However, I do like the idea of a feisty wolf shepherd who defends their sheep hehe. :D Rollo followed you everywhere when he was a little lamb and anyone who tried to bully him was swiftly beat up by you. <3 the two of you grow to be inseparable, and Rollo develops quite the sickening infatuation for his beloved shepherd.

OOOO hmmm,,, I think Rook would be the most fitting for that role despite what ultimately happens to him in the film. ;;;; the role is eccentric enough to suit the equally eccentric Rook.

I rewatched the film recently and some of Alan's dialogue with the characters really does feel like Floyb. That exchange when Alan insists on coming with to help Jack Trainer for "back-up and awesomeness" or when Jack Trainer asks if he likes "this woman" (referring to Loretta) and Alan replies with, "Well, I just brought snacks. I know she gets kinda grumpy when she doesn't eat and I get it. I'm a five-meals-a-day kinda guy." AAAAAA IT FEELS SO FLOYB TO ME!!!! OTL

✧ Trey who is so strangely fixated on your teeth and mouth. At first it was cute because he's so serious about dental hygiene, what with how he ensures Ace and Deuce brush their teeth properly. Sharing a mirror in Ramshackle when he spends the night, preparing meals for each other, and even walking to class and talking about very boring things (like the weather). It makes him feel so special, and sometimes he pretends the two of you are a married couple. Deuce gets so embarrassed if anyone points this out, especially the elderly who see the two of you in town and comment on how cute you look together. He adamantly denies it, but later he's in the bathroom imagining married life with you and it gets him so worked up.

✧ Leona who gets off on the power imbalance between the two of you. Realistically speaking, he's stronger, both in terms of social class (after all, he's royalty) and also physically and financially. But that doesn't matter as much as it does when he's around you. Despite all of this, you know how to match Leona's wit, always keeping him on his toes, and you treat him as you would others even while knowing just how much power he has over you should he choose to exert it. Leona just likes the feeling of being number one in your world. Possibly a little too much, considering it never fails to get him excited. :)

Steal spare change for himself or take your wallet just to watch you panic when you can't find it, but he's come to love the way you turn around just in time to catch him. He thinks about how much bigger he is and he feels so flustered when those thoughts get him hard.

But oh you tempt him every single time you arch your back when you stretch or when you yawn and make such cute, sleepy sounds. It's even worse when you bend over to reach for something across a table or bend down to grab something that fell. He may look entirely composed with his usual smile, but in his mind you're getting fucked six ways from Sunday. You can't give this man any gifts because 1) he'll scramble to pay you back and 2) he'll delude himself into thinking it's a courting gesture and that you want him sooooo badly each time you offer him a snack from the school store or give him something you think he could get more use out of.

Great Seven, you tell him you'll gut him and turn him into eel sushi and OOOOOO he's on the edge of his seat like: "yes...... and?? and????? what else will you do to me?????" all with the wildest, sharpest smile you've ever seen him make. He gets so worked up, so flushed in the face, so terribly aroused, every time you threaten him with anything. Yank him down to your height and mutter a threat, whether outlandish, violent, or something as silly as "I hope both sides of your pillow are hotter than hell," and he's saving these interactions in his memory for later recollection.
