A soft sigh escapes Kalim’s lips, warm ruby eyes looking up at you as if you had hung all the stars in the sky. He was quiet, something that would have surprised anyone, but you knew that despite his loud and warm demeanour, Kalim had a calmer side, still warm but in the sense of the warmth of a comforting blanket instead of the sometimes harsh brightness of the sun.

You hummed, pausing your hands in his hair, looking back at him with a silent question.

He brought your hands down from his hair down to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on your knuckles, paying each joint of each finger mind before placing a kiss on the inside of your wrist and nuzzling into it.

“What was that for,” you hummed, a flustered yet giddy smile on your face. Even if you wanted to hide it, it was nearly impossible. Plus this was Kalim; why would you hide your happiness from him?

Kalim smiled widely at you, still holding your one hand. “Because you deserve good things!”

You deserve good things! Such a simple statement yet it held more weight than its simplicity.

Good things.

Kalim nearly drowned you in good things. One may think he gifted you gold and more valuables than humanly possible, and while that was true at the beginning, he had eased up.

And while he does still give you a miniature stroke every now and then by gifting you something that you honestly don’t want to even think about the price of, the ‘good things’ had changed as he got to know you. As you got more comfortable around him. As the lines between friendship and romance blurred until you found yourself clutching onto his cardigan as you melted into one of his warm embraces during a particularly rough day.

He didn’t push for answers, he didn’t push for anything. He was authentic with you from the first day you met him, and you, in turn, became authentic with him.

He never judged you. Never pushed you to go outside your comfort zone. And he stuck back with you where others may have walked on ahead.

You brought up his hands to your lips now and paid the same mind he did to your hands. “You deserve good things too,” you sighed in contentment. “I may not have-”

Kalim stopped you gently by getting his head off your lap and placing a kiss on your forehead. “You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. That’s enough… you are enough.”

You looked at him, and his bright eyes looked at you with the warmth of the sun.

Cupping his face between your hands gently, you placed a kiss on his forehead too, lingering there. “Thank you, Kalim… for everything.”

“You don’t have to thank me,” and he placed a chaste kiss on the corner of your mouth. Soft, yet it felt like the sun gently warming your skin.

Having a bit of Trouble.

Kalim can’t handle being constantly belittled anymore.

It’s night and you’re walking around the school

Yeah yeah, unsafe you know but…you have a magical cat who breathes fire!!!!

And your dragon fae friend who usually join is…ill. (You sent some ice cream to him!!)

Hearing Grim yap about something that Ace did is usually background noise but then it just starts to waver until Grim falls asleep in your arms

Smiling, you continued to walk around the school

You got to the famous seven statues and heard the strangest sound…

A sniffle coming from one of them

Was it a ghost? You weren’t afraid no, after all, they literally lived in Ramshackle with you and after what happened with Eliza, you couldn’t care less anymore

You stepped quietly towards the source

The statue of the Sorcerer of Sands…?

Standing there, you stared at the statue

It didn’t seem to be cr—

And then you hear a sniffle

“Why…Hic!…why am I so so dumb…?”

…wait. You knew that voice

You went behind the statue to see your boyfriend sitting in a fetal position against the statue, not noticing you standing there

“Sorcerer of t-the Sands…I probably m-made you so haha…disappointed.”

A sniffle.

“What good am I? The only person who I thought was my best friend…hated me. I need him to do everything, even my own job as a housewarden, and I can’t even cook or clean properly. I have low grades in everything but music and math while he just excels in everything. Everyone in the dorm probably likes him more than me. I’m just…a stupid, stupid, arrogant, useless, sloppy, naive, idiot who can’t even—“

He’s cut off with a sudden tackle to the floor

“WAH?! A-another assassin? Ghost? Overblot?! W-who are you?!”

“Kalim.”

He relaxed promptly and hugged you

“Oh thank the seven! I—“

“You need to shut up. You are…”

You shakily breathed out. You don’t want to repeat any of those words.

“You are not what you said.”

Kalim tenses for a second and tries to laugh it off

“It’s nothing! I was joking, y’know just talking with the sulta-“

“Don’t change the subject. I heard you and…” You wiped his remaining tears “And I can just feel it.”

Both of you moved to sit side by side against the statue.

He tried to avoid your eyes but you knew better. You held him in your arms.

“Kalim Al Asim. You’re so incredible.”

His breath hitches.

“You make everyone’s day brighter. You listen when someone wants to talk about something important, no matter how happy or sad it is. You stand up for what’s wrong, you take responsibility. Kalim, you’re incredibly kind to others. Even if you don’t have great grades, you work hard now and it doesn’t define who you are. You have this sense when someone is struggling, you drop everything just to make them smile. That to me, to a lot of people, is so much more important than being “smart”.”

Tears leak out of his eyes as he listens to your words. You cup his cheeks warmly.

“You aren’t stupidly naive but optimistic. You aren’t stupid, you just struggle with things and that’s so so ok. You changed for the better after his overblot while still being the kindest person I know.”

“Your kindness is a weapon Kalim. A warm and loving weapon.”

He starts to cry and you hold him tight in your arms as he breaks down. All the stress, anxiety, fear, anger, and everything just spilling out of him.

His grip on your jacket is tight and you can feel his tears on your clothes but you don’t care.

“I love you Kalim.”

“I-I l-love you too…”

It’ll take a lot longer than just a night to get rid of any of these deeply tangled issue. But it is so much better to have your boyfriend free from his toxic positivity.

Riddle was honestly scared of your insanely good hearing as you always ended up hearing things that were meant to be a surprise or something he’s embarrassed about

He could get behind your fruit diet, being a fruit lover himself. He’ll end up sharing any fruit desserts with you in the hopes that you’ll like them

Your random bag squeaks are adorable to him. The little squeaks you give Riddle when you see him after a long day or when he tries to get your attention always make him flush

Oh, if anyone dares to target you, their heads are gone. He will not tolerate any harassment or bullying of his partner

Riddle very much loves you and has no trouble in reminding you such whenever he can

Leona knew of all kinds of beastmen and he knew how rare flying ones were. So imagine his surprise when he sees you, a bat beastman at NRC

He was made aware of your light sensitivity when you went outside and literally smacked into a wall not even 2 seconds later. Now, he always brings sunglasses for you

You and Leona are a gossiping duo since you can both hear so well. Everything that was considered secret between others, or even yourself, is no longer secret

He loves to tease you for your fruitarian diet but he would never force you to eat anything you wouldn’t. He’s not afraid to get you something fruity though

Your little squeaks are how the both of you communicate, since Leona would probably trill back at you. It’s like a silent form of communication between you

No one dares to harass or bully you, especially with the Savanaclaw dorm leader at your back. They would instantly be turned to sand if they did

Although he has a hard time showing how much he truly loves you, Leona does it in the best way he can

Azul knows of the existence of many types of beastmen, both from books and from his own experience at NRC, but you, who were a bat beastman, really interested him

Honestly, he’s pretty sensitive to light as well, living in the dark depths of the coral sea n’ all so he always brings eye protection when you go out

He’s envious of your hearing. As much as Azul wants to use it for his…nefarious deals, he’d never invoke his partner in that type of work

He honestly loves your fruit diet and tends to indulge himself in said diet. It’s a way for him to eat sweet things without having to worry about it being too unhealthy. Although, he’ll indulge himself in a cake or two if you ask…

The first time he heard your bag squeaks, he crumbled to his knees. The tiny sounds you emit make Azul weak and flush madly

While he doesn’t have much physical strength, he’s very good at…coercion. Anyone who harasses or bullied you is met with a deal not in their favor

Kalim has been sheltered for a majority of his young life so for him to meet a bat beatsman like you was a shocker for him

He’s always worried about you when he sees you suddenly smack into something because you looked at something bright so he’ll end up guiding you through bright places

Kalim honestly applauds you for you insane hearing. He likes to test it out and see how far you can hear and every time he’s astounded, no matter how many times he does it

He would absolutely join you in your fruit based diet. As much as he loves spicy and hot things, he also loves the sweet and refreshing bite of fruits

Please please please squeak around this man! Kalim will coo and gush whenever you do and compliment on how cute it was. Literally just constant praise

He can’t tell when someone is being rude or not easily, but he knows what upsets him and that’s you being upset. He will always be there to help cheer you up

Kalim loves you to absolute bits and he constantly reminds you whenever he can, whether that he in an expensive and flamboyant way, or a nice and quiet way

Vil has known about different beastman types and how rare some types are. And yet low and behold, a bat beastman goes to the same school as him

Oh Great Seven, this man is on top of your sensitivity to light. He always makes sure you have eye protection when you have to go outside. Gotta protect them pretty eyes of yours

Vil is both astounded and weary of your hearing, but not in a bad way. It sort of reminds him of Rook and his hunting abilities, it’s charming

He loves your fruit diet. It’s both healthy, clean, and good for your complexion. Of course, he’ll push some veggies or grain your way but would never force you to eat it

Vil is weak to your squeaks and you know it. Every time you squeak at him or unintentionally, you can see his brain lag for a bit before he realizes what you did and starts blushing

Please, if anyone dares to harass or bully you, he will curse them. They might get a bad hair day or a ruined outfit or do bad on a test, whatever it takes to make them suffer

Vil hasn’t really been weak at his knees for anyone before but you really take the cake. He constantly reminds you of how much you mean to him

The one time Idia decides to leave his room, he meets you, a bat beastman, in the hallways. Even after the encounter, he’s still hooked on you

Honestly, he’s probably also sensitive to light, but not in the same way as you. While you mainly live in dark places, he barely goes outside so that’s good for you both, right?

Idia uses your hearing to his advantage. He has used your hearing to avoid certain people and stay hidden throughout the day

He doesn’t actually mind your fruit diet. He eats so unhealthily most of the time that you’ll probably have to force him to eat something good. Ortho’s pretty thankful for that

Squeak and Idia will die, no joke. Just hearing you squeak is enough to send him into a heart attack and a coma from cuteness. When you squeak, you can literally get him to do anything for you Use this power wisely

He doesn’t have any physical strength but rest assured, your harassers are going to be living a nightmare. All of their data? Gone. Any games? Hacked. He will stream-snipe them no joke

Idia has a hard time showing how much he loves you sometimes, but every little thing he does with and for you makes up for it

Oh Malleus was immediately entranced by you the moment he first met you. He knew of beastmen but never thought he’d ever meet one, let alone a bat beastman like you

He’s always worried about your light sensitivity. He always makes sure you have some sort of protection from bright lights and even offers up the dorm to you, considering it’s cool and dark

Malleus is amazed by your hearing. Anything you hear always somehow gets back to Malleus and you just end up gossiping together over what you heard that day. It’s rather fun

He thinks your fruit diet is adorable and absolutely joins you. As a fae, he probably has a lot a fruit in his diet already so you both just end up having a tea party with your favorite foods, desserts, and teas. Courtesy of the young prince

Oof, good luck to anyone who tries to harass you. He’s literally the one of the most powerful mages in the world he will crush anyone who dares harm his partner

Malleus is the definition of a love-bug. He is absolutely stricken with his partner and will show just how much he loves you

Dear Beautiful Stranger,

I think it was the way you moved around the crowd of people at that time. How your hips swayed and your head bobbed to the music bouncing around the walls.

Who are you?

A beautiful stranger moving your body to the beat of drums echoing in my ears. I wanted to speak to you... but... I just couldn't bring myself to interrupt you; especially when you were dancing like that. Like nobody was watching you.

OH SWEET, SWEET LOVE !

RIDDLE loves it when you kiss his cheeks. His face heats up in an instant as your lips make contact with his cheeks. If you did it in public, he might scold you about how it's not appropriate to display this kind of affection out in the open but if you did it in private, he'll just give you a shy smile while longingly staring at your lips. (....okay hes been staring for quite some time now. just give him a proper kiss smh)

LEONA practically melts into your arms when you lightly peck his ears, it twitching in response as he grumbles something before snuggling closer to the nape of your neck. You swear you can feel his face warm up though, and the rather rapid swishing of his tail that soon wraps around your leg kinda gives away how much he actually liked it. (thread ur fingers gently through his hair after that and he's hooked. this better be an everyday routine, herbivore 😞)

Gently holding his face and kissing his mole, slowly trailing your lips down to his neck as you mumble about how pretty he looks makes AZUL feel so loved as he squirms under your gaze. He can feel his ears turn red and he's sure you've noticed it too, given the playful smile that rests on your lips as you giggle. Sigh, how much he loves you.

Peppering kisses on KALIM's face everyday after class just might be his favorite thing, no scratch that, it IS his favorite thing. The tingly feeling your kisses leave on his face, oh it's the best ever. He'll look at you with sparkles in his eyes and a giddy smile as he leans in to capture your lips in his own, soon pulling away to land a peck on the tip of your nose. ( Urrghhhh Kalim js Kalim i fucking love him so so much. )

Taking VIL's hand in yours and kissing his knuckles softly will draw out a hum of satisfaction from him, a gentle smile resting on his lips at your gesture, watching intently as you move to kiss the tip of his fingers, that loving look still present in your eyes as you smile up so tenderly at him. He pauses, his gaze softening as a small blush tints his cheeks. How can you be so.. he sighs, shaking his head before using his free hand to point at his lips and raising a brow, daring you to plant a kiss there.

After FINALLY beating the game he was struggling at for a week , all IDIA wanted to do was take a break. And what's the best way to take a break? Cuddling up to you in his bed (as cringey as it sounds. <- his words not mine) and turning into putty the moment you kiss his forehead, the fatigue of pulling all nighters and stressing over the game leaving his body. He snuggles closer to you, burying his face into your chest before dozing off. Maybe just for you, he can be cringey. (that last part was also him guys)

MALLEUS...loves every kiss you give him. He really does, but it's something about the fleeting kisses that you leave near his lips which he can't seem to get enough of. The jittery feeling in his stomach worsens when he sees that smile on your face and the way your eyes sparkle with mischief every time you kiss him on that exact spot, pulling away just so he doesn't have a chance to actually connect your lips together (which, mind you he could've easily done so). It just feels so special to him, that you're teasing him like this, and only him. ( he also especially loves it when you kiss his horns. ) ( okay maybe he has two favorite kissing spots but he LOVES all the others equally 😢 )

🍄 He's a pro-blackmailer like you are, and it makes Azul and Idia nervous, just how much do you guys have on them exactly?

🎭 Floyd, much like Jade, was interested in you from the very beginning of your time at Night Raven College

🎭 He met you because of a deal Azul wanted to propose to you, that being you would lend him some of your assistance with Mostro Lounge's mechanics while he gives you a form discount

🎭 This tweel was the one Azul sent to grab you, while he initially wanted Jade to, the fancy male stated how he needed to grab a few things of mushroom from the science room, claiming it might become a air-infesting poison if not taken out for an hour or so

🎭 So, unfortunately, he ordered Floyd to grab you, in which your future boyfriend giggled and began his peppy trip to Ignihyde, where you lead as the vice-housewarden

🎭 Many did not expect to see you guys hanging around one another afterwards, because of how introverted you were compared to his shameless and outgoing-self

🎭 But, when everyone in the college found out you both were an item, they freaked the hell out, especially Idia

🎭 Your housewarden was not fond of the tweels at all, they freaked him out more than crowded areas, and we all know how much those make him shiver...

🎭 Anyways, Floyd loves to kick down the mirror-gateway to your dorm when he's trying to hide from Azul and his work, and, because he knows his boss is going to go looking in his room, he goes to yours

🎭 And your room is being constantly monitored from cameras, in which you can make a small security system make the men chasing Floyd give up as soon as it comes out

🎭 Loves how cute you are when you blush, it's like a thing for Floyd, he just likes seeing you squeak and hide away as he tries pinching and pocking your tomato-colored cheeks while teases fly out of his mouth

☀️ Oh my, how much does this guy love you? It's beyond any kind of scale's listing, no matter the size of strength!

☀️ Kalim first met you because one of your fellow Ignihyde students were requested to help with setting up a mechanical device in Scarabia for a party Kalim was throwing

☀️ And, when that member got sick and couldn't leave his dorm, he sent Jamil a text, recommending you to replace him as he heals from his illness

☀️ Seeing you walk through the hot dorm with a heavy jacket on, despite the heat, he got interested and began to hop around you and ask you questions

" So, what's your name? Where are you from? What's it like helping Idia with managing that really cool dorm? Is it super cold in Ignihyde, and is that why you always wear that jacket? What do you want to do after graduation? How did you get to be so pretty-looking? "

☀️ Kalim did make you very nervous at first, but, after a few pep-talks with his good friend, Jamil, he got to understand exactly why you were so hidden with him

☀️ When you guys got together, it was basically the relationship troupe of opposite-attract, or in other words, the sun and the moon dynamic

☀️ Everybody in Scarabia adores watching you hide in your hoodie as Kalim compliments you, and Jamil likes how you're able to teach Kalim some things that even he deems complicated, like the makeup of a computer

🐍 A reserved man with a reserved S/O, what a great mix

🐍 When you first were announced to be the vice-housewarden of Ignihyde, Jamil literally just though you were going to be as camera-shy as your housewarden was

🐍 When in reality, you were far more reserved and had a larger habit of isolating yourself from larger groups than anything else

🐍 He had to appreciate you after you joined forces with your newest friend, Yuu, and the Octavinelle Trio to help break him out of his overblot at the start of the year

🐍 Your knowledge is something that makes your boyfriend proud of you, he's not any easy person to lose in a conversation, yet, you somehow manage to do it when you bring technology into the mix

🐍 Jamil rarely ever smiles with genuine affection, but, when you start rambling about how amazing something that you made or found was, he found himself suppressing laughs as you glared at the piece of machinery you were working on

🐍 Due to his role as Kalim's overseer, Jamil rarely ever gets a break, but, when you noticed how is eyebags were just as bad as your housewarden's, Idia's, were, you jumped into action

🐍 You had made a small model of robots from a story that Kalim loved as a child, and still loves, into small figurines that he could literally wind up and watch the story go by

take the murderous aura and multiply it tenfold!!

jade doesn't really need to reach you and make his presence known by a few words cause it seems like everyone but you within 10 feet radius of him is sensing the murderous aura he's emitting. if it's not feeling that, then it's seeing the eery dark smile present on his face.

and he seems to be having a death march towards a specific direction so everybody knows where to avoid atleast. cause it seems like anyone on his path is gonna get trampled and no one likes a messy hall.

student in front of you pales, deluding themselves that maybe he's just heading somewhere behind them to vent out that rage or something but they glance behind and almost piss their pants when there is in fact, no one present near anywhere and he's getting closer.

so... they wanted to live so they just bolted out. an experience with one of the tweels won't be good news, and if jade is the one who has them in his sights... they'll take the head start thank you very much.

with the students face memorized and tucked into a corner of his mind he smiles almost innocently at you when you spot him and strike the most casual of conversation.

well, that's under the guise atleast. he's shooting you subtle questions about that person to which you reply innocently. oblivious to the grave you're digging for them yourself.

oddly enough jade started being strangely affectionate, a hand on the small of your back, maybe on your shoulder, arm, or a pat on your head as gratitude. but he seems to like kissing the back of your hand a lot...

*turns his head in their direction after kissing your hand*

deuce

I'll be perfectly honest. he doesn't really have much of an impact in terms of the intense aura that should have been felt. he looks a normal degree of angry, that's why the person hasn't gotten chased off even with the clear signs that deuce will be swinging a fist at probes.

unfortunate that's exactly what the person does. despite your clear reaction of disgust they still use you to rile up deuce. cooing at him while reaching for you, and chuckling about how they didn’t even know him, nor is it any of his business to interfere between two... lovers?

oh so they wanted to impact? they're gonna get one right now 👊 since it seems like they want to get to know him so bad they can get well acquainted with his fists, you know?

he made a promise to himself not to get involved with these type of mishaps! or at the very least resort to more peaceful methods than using violence as a sort of communication. the guilt eats him up a little but he thinks he'd never stand for someone who would disrespect you so blatantly!

almost comically, he looks like he spouts a pair of ears that of a dog's and turns to you. looking more apologetic compared to the fiery look he had a second ago, if he had a tail it would be tucked between his legs out of shame or something.

"I'm really sorry," he says. sulking. deuce apologizes to you, not for his choice of knocking out this random in the middle of the street but because of the fact that he did it in front of you. (also he's kinda jealous...)

if asked, he can, and WILL do it again.

don't blame him though! discreetly whisks you away to grab a bite. having literally no regards to the body looking like it's soul got knocked out laying, and looking out of place on the ground. maybe someone will check on them but definitely not him, they deserve it!

kalim

gasps loudly. "noooo!"

which is like a public proclamation that seeing that did everything but please him. which also means he's basically admitting he's jealous in an indirect way, might as well just say he likes you or something (he probably will if asked because he thinks it's nothing worthy of hiding.)

bounds up to you asking who that is quite loudly to the point where it would seem like he just stumbled upon you cheating on him. it doesn't help that he actually looks sad, teary and all. jamil is off, having paused in his trail since he was previously chasing the boy who ran off.

now he isn’t sure if he wants to get involved now. this is so embarrassing.

lowkey other student would just look back and forth to you, then to kalim. the latter in question unintentionally ignored his existence to be honest, since he was too busy shaking your shoulders and probing the answer of you.

"why would you kiss a stranger...?" he trails off, you did answer. kalim is genuinely wondering to himself if it was that easy cause damn, he scratches his head. that made no sense (says the guy who is making no sense.)

he makes it so obvious that he's pondering with the finger under his chin, eyes lost pointed at the air and the unnecessary loud humming... at this point the atmosphere became more awkward because you and the student is staring at him in bewilderment.

drag him off please, and explain it to him elsewhere. public is NOT a good place. so instead of him saving you out of a situation like this, you save him? talk about being built different...

vil

what in the sevens... he surely hopes his eyes are working correctly lest he needs contact lens, or glasses for that matter. either way he'll positively be as beautiful as he ever was.

although he's very pleased that someone notices the extent of your beauty, there are... other ways to express fondness admiration for you, and vil just can't respect someone who doesn't seem to have any shame for themselves for pressing on boundaries.

so this... fool clearly is a mere taint on your image!!! rid of them immediately! you needn't dirty your pretty mouth, rook does love cleansing the world of dirt like them so it's for the better good if they just never dare to appear to your face ever again.

what better way to hurt someone than aim for their pride? *trash talks so good about their attitude that they actually be pondering their life choices*

don't get him wrong. he doesn't like them, like at all. vil can full well do more damage by nit picking details about them they probably aren't even aware of but he'd never willingly give another person a reason to be insecure about themselves, even if they did terrible things.

plus, there's better ways to teach someone a lesson. they'll learn.

who wouldn’t be scared of an angry vil? they scampered away pretty quickly from a few words, even quicker when he mentioned rook but it's their problem to be paranoid whether the hunter is following them or not to be honest.

He's something. As much as he wants to be soft towards you, he can't do it for some reason. Something in him just stops him from doing so, but, you can tell he's being soft by growling less at you, his grasp on your hand; gentle, and the look on his face when he feels bad for you; It's nonchalant but you see the way his eyes soften for you.

You sleep on his shoulder, when he was supposed to do it first, He gets a bit salty about it, but then realizes.. "Dang you suffered more than me." Soooo,,,, He just waits. And waits. And waits. What is he thinking of while waiting? Planning to buy you gifts. What gifts? Now that's where he doesn't know. At this point he might aswell just buy you food. Open your door tonight and he's gonna be infront of you holding a Mcdonald's bag.

It was silent. Too silent. There were no talking whatsoever, and for some reason, It made you Uncomfortable. Leona was just bored, his eyes closed. His head was leaning against the tree behind you both. You yawn softly, dropping asleep on his shoulder. He opens his eyes and gives you a little look. "What are you doing- Oh. Well look at you.." He whispers, Both taunting and jokingly. "Didn't think you would sleep on me when I was supposed to sleep on you." He mutters. "What happened to the plan with me sleeping on you? Tch.." He crossed his arms. After a moment of complete silence, He glances at you, his eye movements going to your eyebags as soon as he saw it.

"I also didn't think school would be merciless to you." He adds. He looks away, taking in the situation that you're currently in. He barely even cares about his assignments but you, who's probably an achieverholic.. He could care alot. "You put your health aside for your assignments because the teachers expect alot from you? Idiots. And you're one of them too." He mumbles under his breath. "Do those morons have any idea what they caused you?" Leona looks at you, his ears twitching and eyes softening at the sight of his lover sleeping, You are sleeping so comfortably, he barely even got to see that since he sleeps before you. "Ah.. You're already asleep. That's quick." He holds you by the waist as his head rests on yours. "Nobody better bother us or I'm gonna throw them all the way to the other lands." He whispers, placing a kiss on your head before closing his eyes. "And I'll treat you later for surviving this school's crap."

Kalim

Being really honest, He's like Cater but the one who doesn't take pictures and posts it. He gets so excited, starts yelling and Jamil just tells Kalim to stay still so you would sleep. Shoutout to wingman Jamil ig

He can't help but be excited, after all, You, His bestest friend that he apparently isn't aware that he has a crush on you, is using his shoulder like a pillow as you sleep!! He is so stupid in love coded I like it. You can't sleep from how loud he is but praise Jamil for making Kalim shut up and let you sleep, on his shoulder that's very very comfy. 👍

It was either he was speaking too fast, or your mind was just way behind from what Kalim was saying. You close your eyes, only to open then once again to Kalim calling out your name. "[Name]! Look at that butterfly!" He points at the butterfly. To be honest, You don't even know what you're looking at. "Mm, It's beautiful.." You lie. It's better to lie than say the truth that you don't see it, You knew he'd definitely drag you to see it closer. Kalim laughs joyfully. While you... Just stare at the grass. Until you couldn't take it anymore. You close your eyes to sleep on his shoulder. "..Sorry, Just for a while..." You whisper. You could've been able to sleep, but Kalim kept on talking.

"You know, You're cute like this! Ooh, Ooh, How about we go for a sleepover later?!" Kalim yells out excitedly, but you just.. Yawn stressfully. That was until Jamil just sits down beside Kalim. "Ooooh! Jamiiil!!!" He shouts. "Kalim, Mind shutting u- I mean, Could you.. Lower down your voice? [Name] seems to be enjoying leaning their head on your shoulder, sleeping, but you're too loud so they can't sleep." Jamil points at you, Kalim turns his head to you. "You can talk again later, Just let them rest." He sighs. Oh dear sevens, Kalim Al-Asim, You are such an idiot. "Oh- like like- This?" Kalim whispers lightly. Jamil could barely even hear Kalim but, "Good enough." Jamil shrugs, In reality; Jamil personally just wants Kalim to shut up. Kalim pats your head and hugs you gently. "Sweet dreams!.."

Ace

Your honor, with all due respect, he would tell everyone in sage island to shut up. His ceremonial robes groovy explains it all. Like, He's been realizing how you've been just sleeping in all places. While he argues with Deuce, You're there at the corner, sleeping. He's running around, you walk lazily. But what he doesn't realize is that the cause of that was the assignments.

He'd definitely be there to help you. It's canon, he's smart, but he just slacks off. When it comes to you, Oh boy he would grab the pen with a table magically appearing infront of you and a comfy chair. He would volunteer to help! No saying no, that isn't a choice at all. So you sleep there comfortably on his shoulder or he'll have Deuce knock you out with a cauldron. No jokes, he will actually command Deuce to do it.

"Dyahh.. This damn homework Sir Crewel gave us is so boring.." Ace complains. You stare at the papers on your lap, contemplating everything. Ace looks at you, stopping himself from speaking. "Hey, You good?" He lightly elbows you, causing you to snap back to reality. You look at him. "What were you saying?.." You question him. His eyes stare at you very.. Observantly. "You know what- That's it." Ace wraps an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer to his shoulder. "You have been way too tired. Can't ya just rest or something?" You pull away, but he presses your head on his shoulder. "Ace- 'Can't." You mumble. "And why in wonderland is that?!"

"I still have alot of assignments to do, I can't rest right now.." Ace looks at you weirdly, as if saying you're a complete weirdo for wanting to make the teachers proud. "That's it? Dude, You can literally do that later." Ace sighs. You fix your position, starting to feel comfortable. "I don't want to.. I wanna finish them as soon as possible." You whisper. "You will finish them later, not a choice. give yourself a break, will you?" Ace hugs you tighter, You don't suffocate but you're suffocating with his scent. It's too good. "I'm gonna help ya later, so just sleep before I force you to sleep!" He lightly shakes you. You sigh in defeat. "Fine." Ace clicks his tongue and mumbles softly, You couldn't catch it but he totally said 'finally'. You close your eyes, feeling his hands hold both of your hands. "Just trust me, I'll help you with them if you just give yourself a break."

Vil Schoenheit

Vil was stressed about a photoshoot, usually he loves them, the flashes of cameras, praises from the photographers, people crowding around him to make sure everything is perfect, and the clothes. But as of now he’s frustrated because of Neige Leblanche stealing his spotlight, people praising him just sounded like noise in Vil’s ears.

You watched him fumble around his vanity mirror, fixing his hair, retouching his eye shadow, “Can you believe it potato? I was the only one who’s supposed to have a photoshoot today, then he came, ugh suddenly everyone’s attention was on him…” he said the tone of bitterness lingers in his voice.

“My attention isn’t” you pouted, walking up behind him. He expression softens, this only happens with you, he picks up another make up brush but you stopped it with your hand, slowly putting it down “Put it down…” you said “I’m not done potato I need to look-“ “Liebling, Du siehst umwerfend aus” you interrupted him and kissed his cheek

He froze, blinking a couple of times and snapping his fingers making sure he was awake… “What did you say?” He looked back at you, spinning his chair to see you better, you giggled “I said you looked stunning” you were about to walk away but then he grabbed your wrist and pulled you back “No that wasn’t what you said…” he replied “It was!” You defended “Yeah but not that way…” he stood up in front of you “Say that again…” he stared down at you softly…anticipation bubbling in him…

“Liebling…” you started, “Du siehst umwerfend aus” You finished pecking his lips right after earning a smirk from him. He completely forgot that he was mad at something… “see? you don’t even need the blush” you teased pointing out the fluttering pink painted on his cheeks….he chuckled “oh is that so? Well…I think you need a little color on your lips…” he cupped your face as he bent down slightly to kiss you. “Vil! You’re up!” the photographer called out, Making him pull away as he rolled his eyes “Ugh…wrong timing” he half yelled

You laughed softly, “Go…” you motioned him to leave you for now, he smiled “Alright, hold on, let me just reapply my lipstick” he called out, still looking at you, your lips now tinted with the lipstick he put on earlier…you placed a featherlight kiss on the back of his hand as a form of an unspoken ‘good luck’ and he replies with a smile squeezing your hand before he lets go and walks to the photoshoot while applying lipstick.

Needless to say he did very well even if there was a photo where he and Neige had to be in one shot, when he sees you watching in the background, remembering what you said to him, he doesn’t even care anymore. He has all your attention, and he knows it.

I think I fell in love with you all over again” he said to you while also cradling your face in his hands…you swore you almost saw hearts in his eyes, he pulled you close to him as he leaned in to kiss you “AGHHH CAN YOU TWO KISS LATER I’M HUNGRY!!! Y/N PROMISED ME TUNA WHEN THEY FINALLY HIT A BULLSEYE” Grim shouted…

You both broke into a fit of laughter, “Awww poor kitty” you went to Grim and teased him scratching behind his ears “Stopppp!! I’m a powerful mage you know???? I can set you on fire!!” He said while swaying his paws back and forth to shoo you away “Monsieur Fuzzball is hangry, we should get him his promised tuna” Rook said while picking up the arrows on the grass and putting it back in his arrow quiver.

“Yes! Yes you should do that right now! Then you two can kiss for the rest of the day and I wont bother you, sound good?” Grim negotiated “Yes that would be quite pleasant Monsieur Fuzzball” Rook laughed as he grabbed you hand “We’ll go get it right away, won’t we Mon amour?” Rook said to you, you knew he was a little upset that he didn’t get to kiss you so you chuckled and nodded “yes.”

“GREAT! Now stop making googooly eyes at each other and lets go!” Grim shouted as he ran, thrilled by the tuna he has yet to receive. You two laughed and followed behind him, hand in hand.

Kalim Al Asim

You are fighting for your life right now…Kalim clinging on to your waist stopping you from walking out of Scarabia’s doors as he weighs you down while you drag your and his weight attempting to leave.

“Kalim I have to go” you said clutching on to the door frame “Why??? Scarabia is much more comfy than Ramshackle just stay with me” he whines, “Grim’s gonna go hungry, can you live with yourself if my cat dies of hunger??” You guilt tripped him, hoping he’d let you go.

“I’LL ASK JAMIL TO BRING GRIM HERE JUST PLEASE DONT LEEEEAVVEEE” He practically yells as he begs for you to stay “I’ll come back to tomorrow…” you got tired and plopped on to the floor as he further tightens his hold on your waist, burying his face on your lap, “I’ll go a whole night without you here, if you can sleep knowing that than do I even matter to you??” He dramatically says, muffled because he still has his face on your lap.

You sighed and ran your fingers through his hair… “ ‎أَنتَ تَعني الكَثير لي حبيبي (You mean so much to me, my love)” you softly whispered to him, he looked up at you, letting go of your waist and sitting up right to meet your eyes. You were smiling at his expression.

A pigmented flustered hue shyly shows up on his cheeks and his eyes were filled with a whole rollercoaster of emotions, you let out a small laugh and a pecked his lips to bring him back from the love struck void he was falling into

“Kalim? You there?” You asked chuckling while cupping his face with both your hands, “Marry me.” He blurted out without warning, you stiffen for awhile not expecting that, but you saw his eyes twinkling and you burst out laughing earning a pout from him.

“I’m sorry you just looked so cute أميري (my prince) ” you apologized, he felt like melting, He crawled his way back into your arms, nuzzling into your neck, he could feels like his heart could beat out of his chest at this point. “Now you really cant leave…not after you said all that.” He protested.

You sighed in defeat, “Okay…Alright…I’ll stay…” you said, playing with his hair again “Forever?” He asked “For the night, Kalim, I can’t move out of Ramshackle” you laughed “I will marry you one day yknow?” He said, “I know” you answered kissing the crown of his head. “أحبكِ (ily)” he says to you, “أنا احبك (ilyt)” you say back to him.

Jamil Viper

It was a normal day for you two, well to be honest a “normal day” is rare in NRC, with Jamil having to deal with his responsibilities to Kalim, and you being Crowly’s erand runner, you two rarely have time to see or spend time with each other.

Right now though is different, for once you two had somewhat of a day off, Kalim went back to his hometown to attend an event for the royal family, and Crowly surprisingly didn’t have anything for you today. It was nice…you two sitting in a couch, your back against his back and he has an arm on you shoulder

Both of you are each reading a book right now, it’s quiet, not much words are exchanged but it’s fine you two liked the peaceful silence for once. You’ve just finished yours and you plopped it down your lap with a contented sigh. “You finished it?” He chimes, not looking away from his book, “Yup! All done, you?” You stared up at him “Just 4 more chapters” he said focusing on his book, you just hummed in reply, not wanting to disturb him further.

You shifted you position and laid your head on his chest and he lets you get comfortable again, his other hand tracing circles on your back as you played with the ornaments near the ends of his braids. Your gaze slowly found it’s way back up to his face again, though he feels your stare, he doesn’t really mind but the corners of his lips lift a little.

You admiring you boyfriend and suddenly remembered that one phrase you asked Kalim to translate for you ‎“أَنتَ وَسيمٌ جِدّا حبيبي (you’re so handsome my love)” you mumbled, you were just trying to remember what Kalim said the translation was so you weren’t aware of speaking it outloud.

It hasn’t really registered in his head yet either, so he continues to read his book, “شكرا لك حبي” (thank you, my dear)” he replied simply…you blinked and realized you said it outloud, but you’re happy he heard it so you hummed back happily snuggling into his warmth, but when he heard you hum he finally caught up with what you said earlier

He slowly puts his book down as your words sink into his brain, you looked up at him again questioningly this time “You’re done already? I thought you said there was 4 more cha-“ “Love what did you say just now?” He abruptly cuts you off putting a hand on your cheek looking down at you “I was asking if you were done with your book?” You said confused, “No no before that…” he anticipated your answer…

You made an ‘o’ shape with your mouth, you knew what he was talking about, you thought he fully heard you but his expression seem to say otherwise. You smiled up at him and kissed the palm of his hand that was cupping your cheek

“All I said was, ‎أَنتَ وَسيمٌ جِدّا حبيبي (you’re so handsome my love)” you repeated it to him “I thought you heard it cuz you said thank you after” you added giggling.

He huffed in amusement, “Well there goes my book…” he says while putting the book away “what do you mean? you can still read” you said to him, he smiled, pulling you closer to him with his other arm that rested on your waist “No I don’t think I can, you have all my attention now” he mumbled, a soft blush dusted his cheek, an effect from your compliment to him earlier “You’re blushing~” you teased poking his cheek, he chuckled and inched his face closer to you

“Yeah? You don’t say?” He asked sarcastically before kissing you breathless, once he pulled away you were the one blushing, he grins at the sight “there, now we’re even.” He teased as you hit his chest lightly and hide your face in the crook of his neck while he laughs at your expense, you two continued teasing each other for the rest of the day.

Riddle Rosehearts

His face goes entirely red when he hears you say that. He may need a moment to pull himself together.

He likes the idea of being yours and you marking him as yours in such a way, but he still scolds you all the same. He’s a housewarden after all, and has a reputation to uphold.

It would give off the wrong impression if people saw a lipstick mark on him. But that doesn’t mean he’s against it. He’ll absolutely let you leave lipstick marks in less obvious places, like his lower neck and shoulders where his clothes hide them from view.

Leona Kingscholar

It makes him grin. Of course, he’l act like it doesn’t bother him either way, but it makes him happy to know that you want to mark him as yours. Maybe you’ll let him mark you as well? It just won’t be with lipstick since he doesn’t wear it.

He doesn’t care who sees the marks as he’s going along with his day. Ruggie tries to bring it to his attention, thinking Leona hasn’t realized it but the lion beastman just waves him off.

He’ll let you mark as visibly as you want whenever, and he proudly shows it off in his own lazy way. If people start talking, let them talk. He doesn’t worry about a little bit of gossip.

Azul Ashengrotto

Another one who will go entirely red and basically shut down for a few minutes after he realizes it. It takes him a shorter amount of time to calm down than it takes Riddle.

He still scolds you but less harshly since he does have a reputation to uphold but it is still makeup that can be cleaned. He won't be as startled about it as Riddle is but nowhere near as lax as Leona.

Though he will let you mark him up with lipstick later. With his insecurities, it feels nice to belong to someone and marked as theirs.

Kalim Al-Asim

Doesn't mind one bit. Want to mark him as yours with your lipstick covered lips? No problem! He doesn't mind a little bit of lipstick on his skin. He would absolutely love to show everyone that he's yours.

Jamil would probably have an aneurysm though. With Kalim's status, he knows how his reputation will change if people see him like that. So he takes it upon himself to make sure it gets cleaned off.

Kalim is sad about it but as he knows Jamil is right, there's not much he can say. But he does let you nark him up in less visible places.

Vil Schoenheit

Absolutely not! Do you know who he is? He loves you with all his heart, dear, but he can't go walking around with visible lipstick marks on him.

He may like how it looks on his skin, but he won't tell you that since he doesn't want to tempt you.

He would rather mark you, if you will let him. His lipstick is high end so who knows? it might look better on you.

Idia Shroud

The king of freezing up and shutting down. He doesn't know how to react. Did this really happen to him?? Him of all people?

That pale face is immediately going to be a deep shade of red immediately. He’s still surprised you wanted to be in a relationship with him, so you wanting to ‘mark’ him will probably take some time to get used to.

But once he warms up to it, he won’t mind if you leave a bit of lipstick on him after your makeout sessions.

He would be… confused. You marked him as 'yours' with a lipstick mark? You humans definitely have strange courting rituals.

After you explain it to him however, he'll be pleased. It'll absolutely piss Sebek off at seeing Malleus bearing such an unsightly mark, but it's not like he can, it would, argue with Malleus.

Beware, leaving lipstick on Malleus after a makeout session and saying it’s to mark him as yours is akin to a marriage proposal in his mind. So now you’ll have to deal with a very clingy but very happy dragon.

Riddle was headed to your room as you both had planned a study session for an upcoming test you had. The dorm head, of course, offered his help as he would hate to see you fail

Once he arrived, he knocked before allowing himself to enter. He didn’t really say much after that, as he was faced with a duck sitting on your bed, with you sitting at your desk, greeting him

After his initial confusion, he asks about the duck. “Oh, I’ve always had him! Don’t worry, he’s a sweet heart!” Enter more confusion. The whole time? How come he’s never seen the duck?!

At first, Riddle was weary of the duck. Obviously you were allowed to have one, especially if it made it past the ceremony, but he couldn’t help but feel on edge around it

Now, Riddle talks to the duck like a confidant. It may not be able to understand him, but the dorm head still likes talking to him, especially over a spot of tea. He even ends up reserving a seat for it at the unbirthday parties!

There’s only one reason why Leona would activdsely seek you out, and that’s for cuddles. He hadn’t seen you all day and ended up missing you a little too much for his own good

He immediately asked about the duck as he watched it waddle. “Oh yeah, she’s my pet. She’s super big on her fidgets.” That didn’t really help the dorm head at all as he just stared at it

At first, Leona wouldn’t go near her. He much preferred watching the duck as she did her thing around your room, picking things up and either placing them somewhere else or giving them to you

Now, that duck is a second sleeping partner. If he wants cuddles, he pulls you into them and even allows the duck to lay near him. Even when you aren’t around, he still cuddles with it

Azul was looking for you because he needed a shift covered in mostro lounge that evening. Someone had called in sick and no one else was available except you

He didn’t even get to ask his initial question as he was too confused by the duck. “Oh him? He’s my pet. Headmage said I could keep him at my dorm.” Well, that explained why the duck was here, but how come he never noticed it before??

At first, Azul is adamant about keeping the duck out of the lounge, afraid it’ll gussy up the place and scare away any paying students

Now, the duck is literally a VIP employee alongside you and the tweels. The duck usually takes written orders from those on the floor and brings it to those in the back. Plus, it’s cute

He asked about the duck. “Oh, she’s my pet. I was allowed to keep so, so long as she doesn’t cause trouble.” The dorm head didn’t linger on it for too long, already fond of the waddling anatidae

At first, he treated the duck like it was a student, an extension of you, and even threw it an official welcoming party into the Scarabia dorm

Now, nothings really changed. Kalim still treats the duck with respect and love. He’s a big animal fan so of course a duck would hold a place in his heart right next to you

But now, Vil treats the duck like any other Pomefiore student, and holds it to a standard of beauty for ducks. The dorm head even allows the duck to follow him around the dorm, alongside you

The dorm head completely forgot about his initial surprise for the new one and asked about the duck. “Headmage said I could keep her. Besides, I think she likes Ignihyde.” That barely explained anything to the shut-in

At first, he would jump and flinch at any quack the duck let out, no matter how big or small it was. Poor boy was so anxious he would outright avoid going to your room in fear of the duck

Now, he’s extremely chill with it. It’s like night and day. It often sits on his lap or chest when he’s playing a game or something else. He likes petting it a lot

Malleus wanted to visit you because he missed his beloved partner. When he appeared in front of your door, he knocked as he waited for your approval

When you did, he entered, a big smile on his face as he saw you across the room sitting peacefully at your desk. He would’ve continued his march but a small quack stopped his approach. He looked down a saw a small duck with a knitted collar and a fidget toy in its beak

He let the duck lead him over to you before it left to rest on your bed before he asked about it. “Oh, that’s my pet duck. He’s such a sweetheart, isn’t he?” A pet duck, you say? It only intrigued the fae further

At first, the dorm head only observed the duck, letting it lead him around and bring him things it found interesting

Now, Malleus can be often seen with the duck alongside you. Lilia even joked that the duck was a knight fit to serve the young fae, to which Sebek took offense. Silver and Malleus absolutely knighted him as a joke

Ruggie notices you keeping candies in your pockets. He didn’t notice it up until now. How you always gave him candy whenever he did a great job, feelings stressed, or anything really. A simple piece of sweet treat given to him as he ate it. Maybe the lollipop you gave him was too sweet but he doesn’t mind.

While he may say it's quite childish for you to do with him. He can’t help but want you to continue doing this after all it makes his heart go crazy because of you.

Looking at the mirror intensely, he looked at any flaw in his appearance but yet he spotted nothing. You only looked at him with sparkles in your eyes as your mouth then again drifted off to another topic as he listened intently.

A compliment from you every morning. Vil knows he’s beautiful but he can’t help but feel quite delighted when he hears those simple compliments you’ve given to him early in the morning. Something so simple yet it makes him feel like he ate a sweet apple.

He has heard it multiple times though it just feels different when you're the one complimenting him. He doesn’t wanna admit it but he just wants your compliments all to himself. He can’t help it. Afterall, you just made him fall in love with you all over again.

How you make his mind drift into things and live in the moment. Cater himself prides on his photogenic photos he has caught over the years thus the reason why he’s always on magicam. Though just the way you point out a simple cute butterfly admiring its beautiful blue wings flapping slowly as it flew away from the flower it once stood makes him feel irritated that he didn’t take a picture of it way earlier but still happy that he got to enjoy it with you.

You just make him in awe and make his head empty to the things you show him that he can’t think of magicam. Something he holds on fondly after you of course. So continue on making him in awe would you? cause everytime you do just make him more in love with you.

Furrowing his brows he looked at the notes he had taken and back the board. He only pouted as he couldn't seem to understand the lesson though his eyes widened as he felt something intertwined in his pinky.

Looking at it, it was your pinky with him. You look back at the board and take notes while listening intently to the professors. Kalim can’t help but smile as he too, intertwined his pinky with yours.

Kalim might go berserk once you two intertwine your pinkies together. Such little contact but it makes him happy, it makes feel like he has fallen in love with you again. It was like you two are making a promise. A promise to be with each other no matter what and he’ll be there for you no matter what. Doing everything for you.

It makes him feel happy, at peace, and many more. It makes him feel like it's the first time he has seen you and fallen in love immediately. Sure he could hold your hand, hug you, or any physical contact but intertwining pinkies together makes him feel like he’s in heaven. Afterall it feels like you're promising to be there with him. No matter what.

“my. . . sleeping in a place like this?” you talk to yourself as you look at the sleeping beauty you have found. There silver laid in the grass as the sun’s ray hit his face, sitting near him, you slowly took his head off from the ground and placed it on your lap.

Silver knows that his sleeping habits are a bit off. Constantly sleeping everywhere that's why he feels weak when out of all people runs your finger through his hair while he’s sleeping. It makes his dreams much more vibrant, filled with colors, emotions and many more.

It makes him feel at peace as you continue to admire him whilst you run your fingers through his scalp. He can’t help but indulge himself over something so little. Perhaps he loves you a little too much, is what he would think.

Even if he shouldn’t feel this way, he anticipated those visits. You knock on the door with a smile even if you have nothing with you. He just wants you to knock on that door and ask for his presence.

Always visiting him makes him feel special, going inside his room as you go on talking about your day, sharing whatever treats or things you’ve recently discovered he’s always there listening for you. So visit him more, after all isn’t he your boyfriend? boyfriends like him are allowed to be greedy, right?

“Haah,” epel let out a big sigh as he tried to wipe off a sweat he had after training, “here,” suddenly his eyes caught a water bottle and a towel in front of him, looking at who gave it to him you looked at him with a smile.

The way you give him a simple water bottle and towel after he “trains” to become a strong guy. Something so simple but it makes him think that you support him and care for him greatly. A simple action that made his heart skip a beat.

It makes him more motivated to become a big strong guy so that way he could protect you, take care of you, and love you how you should be! Even if you say you love him the way he is, he can’t help but want to be a better man for you. Afterall you deserve the best.

“Deuce have you done the homework due tomorrow on potionology?” you ask him tilting your head slight as his eyes widen at this, there was homework? oh dear, “(name) thank you for reminding me! what was it about?”

You chuckled at his panic state as you reach for his hands and intertwine it with yours hands together, “let's go to the library and do it together afterall I haven’t started on mine just yet,”

The way you remind him of something that is due. Believe it or not deuce spade is quite forgettable on things that needed to be done immediately. Thus the reason why he’s so glad he’s your lover, you were far more greater than he is but god does it fuels his motivation to do better.

To become a great lover for you. To become someone that could be relied on, so please continue on loving him you won’t be disappointed. He’ll definitely ace the upcoming exams and homeworks that is given to him!

Bumbling Fools

Kalim Al-Asim x GN!Reader

The sun set in the west, illuminating everything an ethereal golden. Pretty garnet eyes sought you through the nearly vacant halls, a fumbling grin plastered across his lips upon noticing you.

He sped towards you, in his hand an opulent card perhaps an invitation that he longed to hand over to you. His eyes shimmered with a sort of childish joy as he took in your features once more. A nervous grin danced across his lips, one he wishes would simply leave, as he parted them to speak.

"Prefect.." He said hesitantly, a sort of reluctance present within his voice, eyes glancing over you nervously as if you'd shun him away.

"Please come to my party, won't you..?"

He said, the words finally slipping out of his lips, an elated sigh leaving his lips after he could finally rid himself of the anxiety he felt. His hand practically slammed into yours as he quickly placed the card into it, a skittish chuckle following suit. It was a rare sight honestly considering Kalim was not a shy person, ever. In fact, he was the most extroverted person anyone might've known.

Needless to say, you were a bit confused by the sudden hesitance in his voice, something you were recently seeing build more off. Luckily for him, your obliviousness to such things was a blessing. At least it would be if he himself knew of his feelings, for he himself was oblivious to them.

It was honestly laughable how his sunny persona would fade into a stuttering mess in mere seconds upon the mere mention of your name. It was something even he couldn't pinpoint himself.

Thankfully, you couldn't either.

Upon gazing at you, he felt even more confused. He didn't know why but whenever he saw you, he felt as if he was messing everything up. But even if he was, just why did be care so much?

He didn't like the feeling, but at the same time he couldn't help but relish in your presence, in your company. He was confused, he couldn't comprehend why speaking with you made him into a bumbling fool, why his words would come out funny, and why his face felt so awfully warm. Maybe he'd figure it out if he saw the fluster of his face, the deep blush of his cheeks.

"It's nothing big this time, I promise. It's not even a party really...just some time in Scarabia, you and me, alone..?" He asked, his voice shaky, crimson eyes holding only admiration as nervous words spilled out of his lips.

He felt stupid, and it felt worse because he didn't even know why. It wasn't as if he said something dumb, not that he'd know what you'd consider dumb as you did always humor him. So why was it that whenever you came into his vision, his heart would race so incredibly fast? Why would his words come out either too slow or too fast?

And, just why was his mind clouded with one singular thought?

The need to engulf you in his arms, bask in your comforting warmth as he worshipped your very presence. The desire to spend time with you, alone, away from others. The childish want to be able to cuddle you, hold you whenever he pleased. The yearning to be able to call you his, kiss you like a prince would in a dreamy fairytale.

Was he going mad? It was surely that.

Jamil was right, he was an idiot, an idiot who was going mad and was somehow fixated on you. That must've been it. And for the most part it was, he was an idiot but not the usual deranged fool.

He was just another idiot in love, something he didn't realize himself.

He was awoken form his frenzy of thoughts as you suddenly spoke, a cheery tone surrounding your words as you looked at him so fondly. For some reason, that made him so awfully happy, so content.

"That's very sweet of you Kalim.." You started, eyes crinkling as a soft smile played at your lips, hands gently holding the opulent invitation. You opened it, reading the contents serenely.

"I'd love to go, and we can definitely stargaze together.." You said, a giggle following suit as you referred to the part of the invite in which he asked if you'd like stargazing. You did think it was a bit peculiar how he brought an invitation that didn't include a time, but the idea itself was quite endearing.

His eyes immediately lit up, the nervousness engulfing him almost disappearing. Almost.

"Let's go then, I'll even get Jamil to prepare some sweets for us..Oh! And we can go on a carpet ride too..!"

His words were so beautifully endearing, as if they conveyed how much he liked you, how much he cherished any of the time you both spent together. His hands fidgeted together as he awaited your response, innocent eyes gazing into yours with a gleeful smile painted across his lips.

"Then, let's go. It's been long since I saw the Scarabia moon.." You spoke, your words gently touching him at the positivity.

"And I'll definitely take you up on the offer of Jamil making some sweets.." You said, a childish chuckle escaping your pretty lips. His eyes only fixated on you; how ethereal you looked as the golden rays of sunshine basked you in their fleeting form. It was as if his breath was taken away from him, a breeze tousling his pristine hair as he only stared.

Then you both walked, his body following behind yours as if you were the one inviting him over. He could only stare, words not daring to leave his lips, sealed away in his heart. He might've finally understood what this gut wrenching feeling may have been, and he was so awfully scared of rejection.

His hand gently cradled yours upon arriving at Scarabia, Jamil sighing in relief upon Kalim's return. Curt greetings were exchanged between all of you, Kalim practically hugging Jamil when he already had sweets prepared. Kalim then whisked you away, one hand eagerly holding yours, hoping you'd dismiss it while the other held the tray of snacks.

There you both sat, underneath the stars as you exchanged words, laughter surrounding the room as the stars twinkled so brightly. You twirled underneath the celestial trinkets decorating the sky, the sweet hum of a song escaping your lips.

You looked up, gaze fixed on the stars while he looked at you, staring as if you were the stars.

He didn't know how he suddenly gained the courage, but he did. His hand held yours, bodies close next to each other as you danced underneath the glittering stars, no words were exchanged as soft music played in the background.

Garnet jewels were fixed on you, shimmering so beautifully. His pristine white hair was tousled so perfectly, his headband and ornaments jingling as you both moved. A sheepish smile danced on his lips, mischief hiding underneath the nervous grin. He hoped to not mess this up, to not mumble out a stupid phrase.

He only hoped to let this moment keep going on, make it timeless.

Maybe it was how the both of you danced or maybe the close proximity, but now he knew it. He was an idiot, not a deranged fool but a lovesick idiot.

And he loved it, because being in love with someone like you was nothing short of an honor.

Soon, his hands tightened ever so slightly around your waist, your eyes widening as his head rested in the crook of your neck. The movements were slow as he carefully guided you to a divan. The room was lit only by the stars and the gleaming moon, his tresses of white matching with the celestial bodies.

The same sheepish smile returned to his face, shyness hidden not so discreetly as he simply held you. It was a fragile moment, a gentle one. It felt nice, his eyes holding the purest form of what you could only register as admiration for you. A blush, the color of his eyes, now adorning your cheeks as the usually sunny boy held you like some prince in a fairytale.

"Prefect, I think I love you.."

His words were boyish, a childish smile adorning his lips. The roles were switched, now there he was acting so carefree while all you could do was fumble upon the sight of him. Your eyes could only widen at his words, your gaze averting to anything but him as you struggled to focus.

Then it happened, a magical moment, one which you could only describe as whimsical.

He leaned closer, ever so slightly, your hand in his as he pressed a soft kiss to your knuckles. A playful smile was etched across his lips, eyes studying you as if you were the most precious treasure one could lay eyes upon.

"May I..?"

He asked, leaning closer once more, this time to your lips. His free hand now held the back of your head, fingers spun around your locks. You nodded slowly, a little confused and a bit too flustered for your liking.

His lips finally met yours and everything seemed to stop. Your eyes closed and so did his, your face flushing more than you knew it could. The soft music in the background only made this moment even dreamier than you could imagine. His gentle hands carefully caressed you, his fingers locked around your hair as his other hand interlocked with one of your own.

The kiss was a fleeting one, one that was so awfully pure that it made your heart yearn. Both of your eyes opened at the same time, a blush coating both of your faces as he looked away in embarrassment. He turned his gaze back at you slowly, hoping he did the right thing. His hand was still interlocked with your own while his other one left your hair and was now caressing your cheek.

"Prefect, you are far sweeter than any of Jamil's sweets.."

He said, an endearing smile on his face as you only averted your gaze, forgetting to even speak. He made you feel so fuzzy, so blissfully dreamy that you couldn't help but lean into his embrace, closing in any space between you.

He was an idiot in love but his foolishness was infectious, infecting you so quaintly.

Now there were two idiots in love. Two little bumbling fools.
