Why So Rude? (Or Yuu's BF Asks Crewel for their Hand in Marriage and What Happens Next Will Shock You)

For legal reasons, this is a joke. I have been dealing with a health issue of sorts (i am not dying so no worrying ok? just v annoyed) so writing longer stuff is escaping me at the moment, enjoy some crack while I take a breather. More can be found on my masterlist here.

NO (FLOYD, Rook, and Malleus)

Crewel has been in denial about this "relationship" since it started. Not that his disapproval is really going to stop Floyd, but Crewel 100% refers to him as "Yuu's ex boyfriend" much to the confusion of... everyone who hears that. They do find some common ground in their shared interest in fashion, but Crewel has never forgiven him for his behavior in his class OR his "stealing" Yuu's heart.

Rook on the other hand he didn't have too much of an issue with until he realized just how familiar he seemed to be with his home for someone who had supposedly only been there to visit you. The twenty page letter he wrote to confess his feelings to you didn't help either once he saw the few lines where Rook wrote about the beauty of your finger prints, but he knows his disapproval means very little to someone as obsessed with romance as Rook.

Malleus... is the King of a country genuinely hostile to humans and Crewel thinks he is a little too obsessed with Yuu for his own good. He is also not a fan of how condescending Malleus is towards his disapproval, but it's an issue that will be worked out eventually. They are fighting out of love for the same person, your safety and happiness is all they really care about at the end of the day.

No, but as a joke (Sebek and Jack)

I don't think he has anything against him really, he just wants to see how important tradition and the opinion of his elders actually is to him. When Sebek begins to plead his case because he does not wish to put a wedge between Yuu and their father figure, but cannot deny his feelings for Yuu Crewel's more than happy to "change his mind." He knows you will be happy and well looked after.

Jack is a solid partner, and he is a wolf beastman who speaks of Yuu as his soulmate, his one and only, his eternal life partner and- well. Crewel just can't resist a bit of teasing, he's always been so serious and easy to fluster about these sort of things. The sheepish look on his face when he realizes Crewel has been teasing him makes it very worth it.

I can't stop you can I... (Leona, Kalim, and Rollo)

While Crewel has faith that Leona has what it takes to save his home- he lives in the Sunset Savannah. That is really far away from the Queendom of Roses ( ; ω ; ) have some pity on your poor father he can't travel that far all the time it's bad for his skin. The pressures of being the partner of royalty is something he worries over, but a smug promise from Leona to protect you soothes his worries somewhat.

The flippant way Kalim talks about the assassination attempts is not the way Crewel wants to hear about attempts on your life or heaven forbid your death. Kalim is very sympathetic to this, he has no real argument against how ignorant he was in the past, but he isn't a child anymore. Just filled with a childlike love for the world and determination to make it better. It is hard to say no to that.

Rollo is too much like Trein. His request for your hand in marriage feels like something that the old man would cry tears of genuine joy over, so of course he hates it. Unfortunately he also knows how much this teen grandfather matters to you or whatever so the answer will be yes. At least he has an excuse to visit Fleur City more now.

Give me one good reason. (Azul, Jade, Idia, and Lilia)

Azul was such a good student that he should have zero complaints that you started dating. But he also isn't blind and dislikes being pandered to, which is very much what Azul is doing here. He does wonder briefly if this is a cultural thing and he is being insensitive, but he is still exasperated enough to not immediately say yes. The strange twinkle that comes to Azul's eyes at the prospect of negotiations makes him wish he had though.

Speaking of not being blind, what does the Leech family do and is it legal? Survey says probably yes, but Crewel remembers dealing with Jade's parents while he was in school and has no desire to feed his child to the shar- err eels. Jade immediately begins to sniffle, oh how could Crewel say such bad things about him? A poor innocent eel and blah blah blah. If Jade wasn't such a good partner he'd be cooked.

Crewel understands and appreciates the effort Idia has put in to his personal growth and he has no desire to shit on that... but S.T.Y.X. and the secrecy around it is no joke. He wants to continue having a relationship with Yuu and as soon as Idia reassures him of that he has no more objections.

Lilia is an old man, a war criminal, and a father. Of course Crewel has seen how he was able to live as a student while at NRC but his own credit as a father would be under fire if he didn't object mildly. Lilia has some fun with it and has a bit more respect for him for objecting. So long as the eventual answer is yes.

Yes (Riddle, Trey, Cater, Ruggie, Jamil, and Epel)

While Crewel does have some red flag concerns concerning Riddle's mother, he has no real objections to Riddle himself. He is a perfect gentlemen and the correct amount of nervous to be asking the question. He gets full marks, as if there would ever be any other outcome.

Trey is that sort of solid option that parents really love, but he also has that tight personal relationship with Crewel from his Science Club days. He lives in the Queendom and is tight with his own family there are few better places for Yuu to be.

While Cater isn't Crewel's favorite student, he doesn't hate him or the Shaftlands. He is also not entirely unconvinced that him asking is for a magicam trend but! He has no real major objections. He is more than ready to have two kids, as soon as Cater is willing to admit he could use a stable father figure.

I don't think that Ruggie would even suggest marrige unless he's obtained that stable, high paying job he so baldy wants and has moved his Granny out of the slums. It's the perfect time to ask for permission to propose, and while the Savannah is still super far away (r.i.p. Crewel's skin) he is much more supportive of the two of you and how far you've come.

Similarly to Ruggie, I don't think Jamil would propose to Yuu unless his personal issues with Kalim and his position with the Asim's had been sorted. He wants to actually travel on his honeymoon, and Crewel is very willing to suggest the Queendom of Roses. Jamil's ego is absolutely stroked by how Crewel had zero objections but your adoptive dad doesn't get to see how smug it makes him, Jamil saves the smirks for when you say yes.

I think that Crewel seems to like all of the first years, and Epel is no exception. Sure, his request starts out well put together and polite but devolves into a dialect that leaves Crewel with no idea of what he's saying, but he has a general idea. Of course Epel has his blessing, Harveston sounds like a lovely place for Yuu to live their life in Twisted Wonderland and Epel a perfect person to keep them safe and happy.

He already planned the wedding (Ace, Deuce, Silver and Vil)

I know what you're saying. Crewel approving of Ace? Of course he does! He was in his homeroom class, and Crewel has a soft spot for trouble makers from the Queendom, he was one after all! Sure he might have had some problems with him when you first started dating, but now, when he is deathly serious saying he wants to spend the rest of his life with you? Crewel has been waiting for this since he fist saw carrot head yanking your chain.

Deuce is a much easier sell, Crewel was always a bit harsh on his intelligence, but only because he ran a tight ship and wanted him to reach for the stars. Well he has, and he has you to support him through it, Crewel is so proud of both. He and Dilla have absolutely been hypothetically planning this for years.

While Silver's curse did not endear him to Crewel for his first two years of schooling, he really grew on him when you started going out. He's glad that you've found someone who loves you as much as Silver does, really he is. Unfortunately this means he has to plan a wedding with Lilia, something they both have been doing since you started going out and never talked about. Don't worry! They only intend to fight a lot little bit.

The instant you started dating Vil Crewel entered his mother of the bride era. The permission asking was less Vil wanting to be polite and more him coming up with a way to distract him and convince him to focus on designing the clothes. Thankfully it works and no one other than his dogs have to know just how insane the prospect of his two favorite students marrying made him.

No but what about a fic with Yuu/reader being way more negatively effected by the overblots than they are in the game/manga

And it's not just stuttering a bit or running away from them either

What about them just screaming "Get the hell away from me!" At Riddle, face taught with fear, tears streaming down their cheeks

Not looking Leona in the eyes, barely able to even to breathe, trembling and backing away from him

Having a panic attack when they see Azul

Falling apart when they see Jamil

What if they were nice to the boys before all this and now that kindness is no more, all that's left is this deep fear that makes the boys feel worried and guilty

🦁 When Leona first met you, you had just begun your teachings from the previous assassin from the Kingscholar family. Your training was hard, but it made you feel good that you were going to protect such important and good people

🐉 Malleus has known you for many years, you had first started working for his family a few years prior to your third-year in Night Raven College

🐉 He had seen how you would stand beside his grandmother, Maleficia Draconia, and just observe others while still holding small and daring conversations with others. He also noticed how much of a liking she and Lilia took to you, it was amazing

🐉 Now many can catch the eyes of the Queen of Briar Valley along with the Captain of their Guard. So, when it was announced that you had also caught the eye of the Prince of the land? Oh boy, did everyone believe you were a walking ball of luck

It was yet another unbirthday party in Heartslabyul and Trey Clover, the dorm’s vice dorm leader would normally be enjoying the celebration with everyone else in the dorm but instead, he was in his bedroom cuddling with y/n.

“I’m sorry that you’re missing the unbirthday party because of me, Trey.”

“Don’t worry, there will be plenty more of them.” He assured them in a soft tone. “You just focus on getting the rest you need.”

They had confessed that they hadn’t been getting as much sleep, due to the headmaster and the way he piled more and more onto their plate and how overwhelming it was for them and how close they were to burning out.

And how all they wanted was just to sleep. Even if it was just for a few minutes.

And Trey had decided to give them that.

It was clear that the headmaster certainly wouldn’t.

“Don’t worry, Riddle assured that he’ll make sure that there’s something for us when you wake up.”

“Thank you, Trey. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

“…Ruggie?”

“Finally awake, sleeping beauty?”

“Yeah. What time is it?”

Ruggie checked his phone briefly for the time. “It’s four p.m.”

“You let me sleep all day?!”

“Yes. You could hardly stand. You needed the rest.”

“But what about the lessons? The assignments I missed?”

“You can borrow my notes. As for the assignments, you don’t have to worry, Crewel and Trein will let you make them up.”

“But the headmaster…”

“He had to go one day without his free therapist. The world has come to an end.” Ruggie’s voice was dripping with sarcasm. “He’ll live. I care more about you and your health and I know that you would be hungry when you woke up.” As if on cue, y/n’s stomach growled and Ruggie handed them the food he had come back with from the cafeteria. “The ghosts were more than happy to make this for you. Your favorite.”

The hyena felt his cheeks turn pink when suddenly kissed his lips. “What was that for?”

“That was thank you, for being the best boyfriend ever.”

“Yeah, well, I love you.”

“Love you more, Ruggie.”

“Are you feeling better, my pearl?”

“Yes, I am, Jade.” It was currently after hours in the Mostro Lounge, the smooth jazz was playing softly and with the ambiance of the Lounge, it created the perfect atmosphere for y/n to relax. Especially after the week they had, no one deserved it more than them. “Thank you.”

When his pearl had arrived at the lounge, looking quite dead on their feet, as if they would faint at any moment, Jade wasted no time in leading y/n to their favorite seat in the lounge, he had gently coaxed the reason why they were so exhausted.

The headmaster, it seemed, did not know the meaning of restraint.

Jade would not hesitate to remind him.

“Of course.” He gave y/n one of his rare smiles, not the kind of smile that was used to intimidate, but the kind that gave him a softer appearance. “I would do anything for you.”

He would let Azul deal with that.

“Thanks for letting me hide out in Scarabia, Jamil, and for letting me borrow your hoodie. I just needed some peace and quiet for once, you know?”

Out of everyone, Jamil knew what it was like to feel overwhelmed and under pressure. Being the vice dorm leader of Scarabia and having to watch over Kalim was not an easy thing. “Yeah, I get it. Trust me.” At least with Kalim, he allowed Jamil some time to himself and let him do things that would let him unwind.

Unlike the headmaster.

It was why y/n had made their way to Scarabia.

And it was during one of the rare times where Scarabia wasn’t having a party so they could spend time with Jamil, at Kalim’s assurance that everything was fine, and that today was a relaxation for everyone in the dorm anyway.

And if anyone needed to relax the most, it was y/n and Jamil.

“Don’t worry. We can just be lazy and not have to worry about anything.”

Underneath the big tree in the woods behind Night Raven College, on a picnic blanket, y/n and Rook sat together, enjoying the breeze, the shade from the tree, and the occasional chirp from the birds as they flew overhead.

“How are you feeling, mon cher? Better?”

“Yes, I’m feeling better, Rook. Thank you. I really appreciate that you set this up for me.”

The vice dorm leader of Pomefiore kissed y/n’s hair. “Your health and safety matters most to me.”

“Vil doesn’t need you for anything?”

“Roi du Poison told me that we can take all the time we need. And I plan to spend the entire day spoiling you.”

Rook’s smile widened when y/n’s giggled reached his ears.

Father, will y/n be all right?”

In Diasmonia’s lounge, y/n slept peacefully on the couch with the fire going in the fireplace. “Of course, Silver.” His smile was tight. “They’ll be fine.”

“The headmaster overworked them too much. Do you think he knows? Or that he just doesn’t care?”

Lilia was sure that it was both. “I’ll deal with him later. Right now, I’m going to make sure that y/n recovers.”

“You really love them, father.”

“With everything that I am.”

hmmm

i like to think that the other yuu (y/n) would also somehow befriend kalim

like- listen.

maybe they’re wandering around campus while everyone is in class. they were skipping, yet again, because of their anxiety. yuu gave them the advice of walking around the school while everyone was in class so you could get to know the school on your terms.

so you here you were, roaming around the outside portion of school, forcing yourself to walk slowly and take in your surroundings. each footstep followed the pattern of black and white tiles; left white, right black. if your toe went over the black tile your other toe would have to match. if your foot skidded on the tile, your other foot would have to follow in suit.

it was an old habit you had in your old world. you never knew what possessed you to do it, but you couldn’t stop once you started.

‘tsking’ at the fact that half your foot went over the white diamond, you were preparing to have your other foot follow suit when you felt a sharp jab in between your shoulder blades

“AGHH” you cried out in pain as you tripped over your feet. with the short time you had, you braced yourself onto your side, where the side of your arm took most of the impact. letting out a shaky breath at the pain, you felt tears escape as you kept your head down looking towards the floor.

fuck. what luck huh.

first the scene in crewels class last week, now this???

the universe is really trying to humble you

there was a crushing weight on top of you that kept pushing your side into the floor. you were debating rolling on your back to cradle your arm, but you didn’t want to cause you and the boy to shift positions…

your face started heating up. just at the thought of anyone seeing you like this made your tummy clench. you can imagine it, the bell ringing, indicating the end of class. all the boys in the classrooms would thunder like wildebeests into the hallway, only to see you pinned to the floor by the mystery man.

oh could you could just kill yo-

“ughh- oh sevens! ae you okay?”

the voice cried out from above you, immediately getting off of you. your relieved sigh from the weight being taken away was short lived as you were yanked by your wrist upwards.

you gasped, pain shooting through your ankle as you toppled into the strangers strangely strong arms.

his skin was tanner with white swirls and patterns running up his muscles arms- no stay focused. your ankle? probably broke-

“hello? anyone home? i oh no, i hope you didn’t hit your head, ahh im so sorry, let’s get you to the nurse!!”

a soft hand found your shoulder as he set you upright, and there you were forced to meet you assailant.

of course you knew who kalim al-asim was. you’d hear him from classrooms away, and jamil too, the latter usually chasing after the former.

“huh, that’s weird, i’ve never seen you before” he tilted his head in confusion, a split second later his face lit up like a thousand christmas lights as he connected dots.

“oh! you must be a new transfer student!

(i said he connected dots, i never said he connected the right ones)

i’m kalim al-asim! im the housewarden of scarabia! and you are…”

he looked at you expectingly, his scarlet eyes honing in on yours. you would’ve thought he was trying to peek into your soul if it weren’t for the ever growing smile on his face.

“uh… y/n” you didn’t have the heart to tell him you weren’t new.

you shifted uncomfortably, eyes flicking to his crest as you fiddled with your hands behind your back. despite your nervous deposition your mind was racing.

what if he was there to bully yiu?

“sorry” you mumbled, rubbing your brushing arm firmly. you weren’t sure why, but a little pressure made it not hurt so much- you winced, rubbing motions stopping immediately as you cursed yourself mentally.

“there’s no no reason to apologize, at the most i should be the one saying sorry, you did get hurt by me after all” his face shifted to a guilty one as he eyed your ankle, then your arm, and back to your face.

you sighed, running your free hand through your hair as you let out an exasperated sigh. “how about this, we call it even if you can take me to the nurses” you pointed to your ankle “think i sprained it” you mumbled out once you realized you were ordering THE house warden of scarabia around.

“nonesense!” he shouted, causing you to flinch slightly at the closeness and loudness. he let out a small sorry as he smiled sheepishly “i knocked into you while riding this guy” he pointed behind him as his expression quickly grew to one of amazement.

“not behind you” you muttered, peeking behind him left and right. and yet, there was only him and you in the deserted hallway.

“WHAT” kalim shouted, again. this time not apologizing as he was too busy freaking out about his lost carpet.

“jamil’s gonna kill me” he whined.

“if you want i could help look” you pressed your nails into your fists as you asked. boy were you talkative today!

“nah, you’d only be dead weight with that ankle of yours, don’t worry about it!”

…you were getting dizzy, first he calls you dead weight now he’s offering to ‘carry’… carrying? said weight on his so called carpet.

you couldn’t keep up with him.

nodding dumbly, you hobbled to the door side of the corridor as kalim jumped through the hole that acted as a window that outlooks the courtyard.

searching high and low, you couldn’t help but laugh as you watched the heir turn into an acrobat as he climbed trees, jumped over rocks and somehow managed to climb on top of the gazebo’s roof.

“don’t fall! i don’t want us to having matching ankles!” you mused, laughing lightly as he turned to you, waved, almost fell off, and flailed to get his balance back all in the span of 10 seconds.

a few minutes passed when you heard him yell out. prying your attention from your nails, you were face to face kalim.

“shit!” you flinched as kalim almost ran into you a second time. although he tried to keep it hidden behind his back, the large carpet peeked over his shoulder at you, before folding in on itself.

“this is my friend, y/n! c’mon don’t be shy buddy. they’re shy just like you, see?” kalim encouraged the carpet from behind his back. yet every-time he tried facing it, the carpet would stay glued to his back until they started playing an intense game of “peek-a-boo”

laughing at their antics, the carpet unfolded its wings and with a flap, it flew into the sky, effectively knocking kalim over and onto his butt.

“HAHAHSHAH” you threw your head back as you slapped your good leg’s knee.

what felt like a few seconds must’ve been a few minutes of you laughing none stop that you didn’t even notice the two in front of you.

calming down from your ab inducing fit of laughter, you started fanning yourself as you had a nasty habit of blushing when you laughed. your eyes were closed in concentration as you let the last of it out of your system.

“boy you guys are sure a riot, lord i can’t remember laughing that hard in a long time- what”

kalim, with his ass still on the floor was just staring at you. you didn’t dare name the emotion as you tensed up again.

“i’m sorry for laughing-“

springing up like a rocket, he celebrated with his carpet. what the fuck.

“there you go! no longer doom and gloom! you should laugh more! “

extending a hand to you, he grinned, his face flushed and breathing slightly erratic that the normal eye wouldn’t have been able to spot it. yet you did, you always did.

you looked at his hand for a moment, then to his face, then to his hand, which he opened a bit more towards you to get you to take it.

what felt like a pause in time was probably more of a minute as you just looked between the two.

“fuck” you growled out lowly, closing your eyes as you thrusted your hand into his. you kept your eyes shut as he yanked you up to the point your feet touched off the ground.

bracing for another hard impact, you were met with the soft, fuzzy fabric of the carpet.

“oh” you said lightly, ungracefully fixing your positioned to where your good leg was extended and your bad ankle was resting over your good leg. your arms keeping you up right.

“neat huh” you looked at kalim as the front carpet dipped a bit to let him on. he sat in front of you as he shifted his position to face you.

“do you mind” he looked at your ankle as the carpet started flowing. too impressed with that fact that you’re on a giant fucking carpet, you shook your head no.

the light touch onto your sore ankle caused a hiss to escape you as your head snapped towards an apologetic kalim.

he wasn’t sorry for too long as he kept softly poking your ankle, before he dramatically sighed. shaking his head, he said “yep, it’s sprained alright.”

groaning, you leaned back in annoyance. but with the lack of personal awareness made you forget that this is in fact not! a car.

so down you went. your world turning upside down as you felt your legs lift. and soon enough you would nose dive into the concrete.

welp this was it ladies and gentlemen. you’ve had a god run.

our father who art in heaven-

a hand lashed out and gripped your arms before pulling you back up. where you were met, once again, face to face with the al-asim heir.

breathing heavily, you stared at him wide-eyed through the tresses of your hair.

“not gonna lie, i thought you were gonna let me fall” you joked, gulping as you looked behind you at your almost murder scene.

pushing down the sudden dread, you looked back to kalim who wore an almost serious expression

“only a fool would drop a girl like you”

he smiled slightly, cheeks growing in hue as he looked away from you shyly. his back was now towards you as he told the carpet where to go.

the complete one-eighty left you gagged as you you just stared at him, gob-smacked that he had the AUDACITY to use that moment to quote a meme.

shaking your head slightly, you looked behind you as you extended your arms back, hands trailing through the carpet. stopping once you thought it was a suitable distance from the edge. leaning back, you enjoyed the ride

Was listening to some juicy gossip in the kitchen while preparing something for kalim. One of the students mentioned about a rumour that the ramshackle prefect was a girl but the other student was quick to dismiss it. Once you go to NRC, one thing you'll learn is that you never judge a book by its cover. Fast forward to during his overblot(ing) period when he's locked you into your room. He's passing by to check up on you when he overhears you tell Grim that luckily you brought your bag with you, which has your extra pad in there. If you don't have periods, overhears you tell Grim that luckily it's not communal showers or how else were you going to explain your physical appearance (for the sake of convenience pls imagine it is 🙏)

Overblots and when you save the day again...he's kind of embarrassed to have shown that side. Overall not much changes, just that he treats you with more respect and less sarcasm when he responds to you. Hopefully you forget his past behavior. Fast.

Kalim

Similar to how Floyd finds out. This ball of sunshine literally runs up to you and tackles you into a hug. Usually it's from the back so he doesn't really notice. And the constant reminder from Jamil not to do that fly's right over his head. You're worried that one day he might find out but hopefully his obliviousness will save you. Until it doesn't. This time he runs up to you from the front and literally scoops you up into his arms. And then he feels something and stares up into your eyes in confusion. Poor boy doesn't know what's going on.

Now you're more worried about HIM letting it slip out. He acts super nervous and suspicious around you at first. Which prompts more people to look over in your direction. But once he gets used to it, he's less touchy. He wants to respect your space after all! But at times, he does forget and still pulls you into hugs. He's a ball of sunshine and a little awkward at times but know that he's trying his best 🙌

This being your first NRC homecoming, you wondered how great it'll be.

Walking through the hallways to go back to your dorm, you're oblivious to what the twst boys have in store.

“He wonders…” TWST boys dreaming about their crush (Scarabia)

Kalim al Asim

Kalim’s a big daydreamer, especially in class and dreams even more in his sleep about touching the skies while riding on his flying carpet, his fingers touching the skies as he sees dozens of rainbows over the horizon leading him to a secret paradise only he knows. Before he could even reach, his “journey” is usually cut short when the professor or Jamil wakes him up.

However, the moment he fell for you, it seems that his journeys in Daydream Land becomes more vibrant, colourful, airy and fantastical with you beside him: smiling just as gleefully as he is while embracing each other on his flying carpet. It truly is a whole new world, the skies and oceans are a shining, shimmering splendid to behold, much like yourself.

Kalim visibly pouts when he gets wakened up from his dreams about you. Why did they have to cut his journey short like this? Don’t they know it’s rude to just abruptly leave you behind when you were so happy? Regardless, Kalim continues to think of you with an airy smile adorned on his face, love-stricken by the idea that maybe you could be with him on his magic carpet to fly to somewhere only the two of you know.

What’s more is that Kalim would love to believe that you too, maybe just a tiny chance, that you also went on those adventures with him on his flying carpet, or talking with his parrot, seeing fireworks together in each other’s embrace or sneaking away in the middle of the night to dance the night away in his garden palace as the stars watch you both with content.

But even Kalim gets shy when you come around, it seems that he can’t ask you to join him just yet. As bubbly as he is, something makes him hesitate and holds him back. Perhaps the normal nervousness of asking your crush out? It’s most probably so.

If you could, maybe you should offer to ride on his flying carpet with him. Maybe you help him make his dream come true. <3

Jamil Viper

It’s not obvious, but like Kalim, Jamil dreams big. He dreams of travelling around the world, exploring and discovering exotic places, plants and whatever that catches his eye… that’s almost everything he dreams of. Unlike Kalim, however, he pushes his dreams aside when it comes to college, opting to focus on his work.

That’s why he hates you. No, he loves you, but he hates you. He hates how you invade his mind and creep into his thoughts and make him subconsciously doze off as a result. It’s harder to focus when all you do is accompany him to the ends of the world, hand in hand as you explore every nook and cranny Mother Nature has to offer. He loves you, but he’s scared that if he tells you, you either don’t love him back or he might make your life worse due to his family situation, but it hurts to only dream of everything he ever wanted only to wake up to realise it wasn’t real. Please, take his hand, promise him that no matter where you go with him, you will always have your hand in his, going to wherever whenever. He will love you to the ends of the earth, and I hope you do, too. <3

First Night Interview (Heartslabyul and Scarabia Ver.)

Question: How did you spend your first night with your wife?

Ace looked at the question in horrified.

Ace: WH-WHAT KIND OF A QUESTION IS THAT! WHY SHOULD I TELL YOU?!

Deuce: Bet you were just sleeping like a log. *

Deuce smirked at Ace as he folded his arms, literally mocking him. Irritated with Deuce remark, Ace did not back down.

Ace: HUH! EXCUSE ME! We diiddd it all night longggg! Tch! (I'd be dead if my wife knew about this) Bet you struggle to even hold your wife's hands.

Deuce: ME-ME?! Me... My wife and I... spend a heated night *blush furiously*. It's the first night of the wedding after all. It's bound to happen. *Super proud face*. How about Trey-senpai and Cater-senpai?

Trey: I don't think I can say much. My marriage happened during Christmas so both of us were busy with all the orders from the bakery. We just passed out late at night and wake up early tomorrow morning for another batch of orders.

Cater: That's sounds pretty tiring. Good, you have a supportive wife. You should buy her a cute gift as a reward.

Trey: I already did.

Cater: What did you give? Something branded? Expensive? Trending?

Everyone was shocked with the ex-dorm leader outburst.

Deuce: Riddle-senpai, do you still follow all the 180 rules?

Riddle: It's 810! How can you forget about the rules! This matter is not something to take lightly!

Cater: That's Riddle for you I guess.

Riddle: My wife is not like you rule breakers at all. She follows all the rules really well. It was right for me to rely on my mother in choosing my partner.

Ace: YOU IMPLY THE SAME RULES TO YOUR WIFE???!!!

Riddle: It's something to be expected alright. When the clock hit 10, we go sleep punctually. It has been 1 month of marriage and we always did that.

Trey: Did you really just sleep, Riddle?

Riddle: I don't see anything worth to do except that. Besides, I finished all my tasks early before bed.

Trey: Your wife don't say anything? Like giving you the cold shoulders.

Riddle: When I think about it... She did act differently the next day but I don't know why. I tried to ask but she always said she's busy or I need to figure it out by myself.

Ace: Congratulation on having the first couple fight

Riddle: Wh-what do you mean by that, Ace?

Cater: Just ignore him, Riddle. Let me help you solving the problems. I already share some links with you. You just need to watch and you will understand your wife better.

Jamil: KALIM! STOP TALKING! (Immediately cover his mouth and drag him away before he can describe the entire situation. Meanwhile, Riddle was busy taking notes inside his head. Cuddle all night doesn't sound so bad)

Cater: What about you, Jamil?

Jamil: I don't want to share anything but my wife admit I'm a husband material *Smug smile*

This is my first time focusing my writing on dialogue more instead of description. How was it? While doing this, I got some ideas to write one-shot for everyone of them in regards of their first night. Might be writing a new series huhuhuhu.

Started thinking about what pet names all the boys would give you (excluding standard ones like babe/baby and darling and love and stuff) and this is what I came up with-

(Some of these have been in fics I've read bur I am currently sick as a dog and don't remember where, so credit where credit is due!)

Heartslabyul-

Riddle: His Rose/Rosebud/Petal. Might use Strawberry if he can not get flustered by using it

Ace: Cherry (he mentions liking cherries at some point)

Deuce: Bluebell/Bluebird (no clue why I thought of it but this is so frickin cuuute 🥺)

Cater: Presh (originally it was his Diamond, then his Precious, then Presh for short)

Trey: Honey or Sugar if he was feeling endeared, but if he was messing around he'd use different ingredients (egg, flour, butter, etc. Oyster sauce is one of his favourites when teasing too)

Jack: His mate (most people think you are just homies at first bc of it but then they realise)

Soap Operatic Symphony (A Fyuuture Kid AU ft. Scarabia, Pomefiore, Ignihyde, and Diasomnia)

While camping in the mountains during Camp Vargas, you encounter a monster exactly like the one you fought off with Ace and Deuce at the beginning of the year. While trying to fight it off again, a strange portal opens up in the mine and a person jumps out of it to your rescue. He says he doesn't remember much, but it's clear when you bring him to Crowley that this boy is also from your world, despite being a mage, and until the headmage can think of a better solution, he assigns "Yutu" to your dorm.

Something a certain someone has an opinion about.

notes: yeah I have nothing to say for myself, I have other stuff I am supposed to be writing but this wrote itself ok? ok. Anyway this is a future kid au where your son has come back in time to try and prevent the end of the world but mostly to make sure you don't die. You can see this ask for a detailed explanation of what's up with Yuu and my masterlist for other fic. Oh and the other dorms can be found here.

Scarabia

In general, Jamil is going to be torn between being deeply suspicious of the entire situation and feeling like it's none of his business while Kalim is excited to meet a potential new friend. How they act on those feelings changes depending on who Yutu is trying to interact with.

Kalim- anyone trying to get close to Kalim has to be watched obsessively by Jamil, and Yutu is no exception. If anything the surveillance is worse due to the strange way he showed up, and Kalim doesn't like it but he understands. For Yutu's part he seems really receptive to Kalim's efforts to befriend him, which is the furthest Kalim is going to think about it for a while, but he also notices the strange nostalgia and grief Yutu seems to feel when interacting with you and he really wants to help. He's sure if Yutu would just talk about it, he could give him some good advice. They get along really well! But Yutu seems really reluctant to give out personal information… which Jamil really doesn't like. Kalim's sure he doesn't mean anything by it because of how apologetic he is! But he does sort of wonder if he's done something to make Yutu not feel safe around him... it makes him sort of sad.

Jamil- Once he got a look at that portal, Jamil realized that he didn't actually know what it looked like when you arrived at NRC. He certainly remembers the mess Grim made, but not much about you beyond how confused you looked. He'll have to ask about it sometime but for now, he's got questions. Number one: who the fuck is this guy really? His name isn't Yutu, he sure as shit isn't from your world, otherwise he couldn't be a mage, and his attitude towards you is just suspicious. He has got to want something, and Jamil is torn between protectiveness of you and his adamant refusal to give himself anymore work. It doesn't help that Yutu seems very apologetic to him specifically, he swears the kid seems to be apologizing for his entire existence. It's weird, and he tells him to knock it off because it's not like he's his dad. For some reason that just makes it worse.

Pomefiore

Vil- Epel is the one to tell him about the monster attack, the portal, and the strange protectiveness Yutu has towards Yuu. That last thing doesn't bother him as much as you might expect, as soon as he learns that you're from the same world he thinks it's perfectly natural. Admirable even. The fake name and desire for privacy doesn't bother him either, as an actor both things seem normal to him. What worries him is the idea that something very wrong is happening in the background that he doesn't know about, which he makes very clear to Yutu after sending Rook to distract you. Yutu seems hesitant to trust him, and only offers vague warnings about making sure Yuu stays safe and keeping an eye on Grim. Well now, they can both agree on that, and wouldn't it be easier if Yutu cooperated with him? He's not going to take no for an answer.

Rook- Oh? Ramshackle Dorm has a new member? What a charming surprise! He's sure this will lead to many new beautiful experiences. And he's right! Yutu is very beautiful, but there's something oddly familiar and yet… wrong about him. Like he doesn't quite belong here, and not in the same way that you don't belong here. He looks haunted, his interactions with you scream that he possesses (or to be more accurate used to possess) a relationship that can only have been built over several years. But you clearly don't remember him, and there's a painful aura of grief in his interactions with you. He also notices, with a great deal of joy, that the same grief is present when the little one speaks to him. Just what could that mean? The hunter is in no rush, he'll find out what that means in time, for now he'll keep dropping in unannounced to test Yutu's reflexes.

Side note: I don't speak French so I don't know if this would be the correct way to say it, but I like the idea of Rook's nickname for Yutu being Monsieur Caneton (Monsieur Duckling), because of how he follows Yuu around. Floyd's nickname I reserve the right to change depending on who Yutu's father is.

Epel- He starts off a hater, I am not going to lie. Protecting you is something Epel takes a great deal of pride in; he wants to be seen as manly, as the protector, as someone who you think of as cool and trusts to provide for you. So for a giant portal to open in the sky and drop a new guy determined to protect you from the monsters? He hates it, he really does, and that's BEFORE Yutu starts living in Ramshackle Dorm. He's determined to ignore him and not let him into the friend group, which proves impossible because of how Yutu follows you around so fine. He can sit with you but ONLY IF he accepts that Epel was there first. Something he's really surprised to see him do? He should be more suspicious of why Yutu is constantly asking him for advice or acting like he's cool for being so possessive over you but well. It's Epel he really wants to be seen as cool so he's just not going to think about it.

Ignihyde

Ortho- Ortho wasn't there to see the portal so he can't analyze it, but he can analyze Yutu! And he immediately finds the Shroud family curse. How curious, is this something he should tell his brother immediately? Or should he skip the line and talk to their parents… decisions decisions but he doesn't have to wait for too long for an explanation. Yutu explains himself pretty quickly when called out and Ortho is beyond excited to learn he's an uncle. Less excited to learn about the impending apocalypse but he's sure they can fix it if they work together. Now to double his efforts to get you and Idia together…

Idia- a second person has been isekaid to the NRC oh no. Whatever will he do? Well he intended to do nothing but Ortho isn't letting him. For some reason he seems really determined to get him to hang out with you, almost like he knows about his crush he's been so good at hiding. He can't complain too much, talking with you is weirdly soothing and much easier than he'd anticipated. And Yutu's there too he guesses. Sometimes they parallel play while Idia hangs out with you and that's nice. It's sort of weird how in tune Yutu is with him though, sometimes he swears they could be related. A thought that Ortho is weirdly determined to encourage, and refuses to explain why... maybe he should be more worried about what anime little bro has been watching recently.

Diasomnia

Right so dragon biology is weird and our knowledge of half fae is very limited. From how Sebek looks and how Malleus’s birth is discussed, I assume the eggs produced by love is exclusive to dragon fae and other species just get babies in the normal way. All of that to say:

Malleus- Yutu is an oddity from the jump. He looks very young, but insists he's around the same age as Yuu, and Malleus swears he feels his own magic is a part of him. It's like a precious stone has grown some legs and started walking around and talking back to him. He's a little bit in love, not the same way he's in love with Yuu, but much like a parent would think of a child… perhaps if they get closer he can offer him the night's blessing. He does seem to be lacking it and that just won't do, something inside him says that needs to be fixed immediately. Lilia questions him on whether or not he's jealous of how close the little one is to Yuu, which surprises him greatly. Why would he be- well. He does wish he could spend more time with Yuu but that sort of envy applies to everyone, not just Yutu. And none of those guys are so unafraid of him to have made him a friendship bracelet so there.

Lilia- a mage? From Yuu's world? How exciting! He's very pleased to see how well he gets along with his boys and takes Sebek’s shouting in stride. It's inspirational how quick he picks up on how gullible Sebek is and immediately starts telling- well Lilia supposes he doesn't know they're outright lies but the scolding he gets from Yuu certainly suggests they are. It's all very cute, and something he really wishes he could be a part of, but he knows his time is limited. He'll just have to treasure these experiences while he's allowed them, something Yutu is very willing to help him do! What a good kid, he'll have to tell him how proud his parents must be of him.

Silver- A portal, a monster, and a new mysterious person… it's concerning. Something dangerous has got to be happening with how worried over you this new person is, his name is Yutu? Weird but then his name is Silver so who is he to judge. Anyway he introduces himself to Yutu and he asks why he came through the portal and… isn't really satisfied with his answers. He doesn't think Yutu is a threat, not to Malleus anyway, but there's just something off about this whole thing and it's his task as a knight to make sure the people he loves are safe. What's that? Well of course you are one of those people. You're very important and- why is Yutu looking at him like that. He's telling the truth, what does he mean that makes it worse? Is it his face?

Sebek- Oh look another perfectly average human who is ok. He guesses. Not that he's thought extensively about you personally, only as a precaution to make sure you aren't disrespecting Lord Malleus, you get that right? Him cornering Yutu with a strained look on his face and shouting at him about how to properly respect Lord Malleus is something he would do to anybody. It has nothing to do with him assuming that if this person respects Lord Malleus they will be safe for "that human" to be around. Unfortunately, Yutu is not just anybody and immediately starts yelling back accusing him of disrespecting you. It's like there's two of them now, just with different biases, rip everyone's eardrums.

How To Make The NRC Boys That Cook Cry:

The victims: Trey, Jamil, Azul, Jade and Floyd

Step one: Trap them in a room

Step two: Tie them onto chairs

Step 3: Force them to watch horrible Tiktok recipe videos

Step 4: Watch them start bawling

The results:

Trey breaks first, sobbing at the horrific acts committed against his beloved desserts

Jamil is next, the tears sliding down his cheeks at the utter cruelty of the treatment if his curry and various other foods.

Azul comes after, absolutely terrified as he watches various pasta dishes be utterly desecrated, the Italian genes I SWEAR he has crying out in agony.

Floyd and Jade are next next, forced to watch various Coral Sea dishes be completely ruined.

Floyd has a feeling of utter agony take root in him as he's forced to look upon these sins. Yes, he makes unusual combinations that usual taste bad but who breaks down pasts to make it into pasta? Jade's heart is hurting as wretched things are done to his mushrooms.

Suddenly all of them slump over, congrats they're dead now.

A/N: I named Rook's siblings after the pieces of a chess-game as a headcanon! (btw they’re french names)

🧁 Trey loves his family so much, and he really wanted you to love them just as much as he did, as they’re basically his whole world

🧁 So, when he received a message from his mother stating that they would be dropping by for a couple days for a small break from the family business, much to both his joy and nervousness

🧁 He was nervous that maybe his family wouldn’t like you or you wouldn’t like his family. And if it was the latter, he really didn’t want to break your heart…

🧁 You stood beside him outside of Heartslabyul as he put his phone away, he had read a message from his father saying they had just arrived and were coming to his dorm

🏹 They are fairly similar to him when it comes to personalities, but they are quite different in their own unique ways, his oldest sibling, Leroy (King), for example loves to take photos instead of watch for a while like Rook

🏹 When he received a letter from one of his oldest younger sibling, Chevalier (Knight), saying that they were going to come by and visit him, he smiled and told you immediately, asking if you would care to meet his family
