GOOD AFTERNOON, I am awake, and I have ideas which means I am not shutting up so I can take time off summer work!!

Witch Hat Atelier Yuu AU!! (Yuu is Gender Neutral here, with They/Them being used.)

Yuu is currently a graduated witch (aged somewhere around 16-17) and is currently practicing making various types of glyphs. Their outfits are always filled with a glyphbook, a sketchbook and extra paper, items for making glyphs (like the conjuring ink, pens, and what else, plus a just in case for ink making), plus their shoes are soarboots. They're ambidextrous due to their practice and due to having a tendency of causing their wrists to suffer and are dextrous enough to use their feet and mouth to write.

This Yuu is a bit more excitable and curious than most but is also very keen and understanding. Though, at the start, their guard was up due to their suspicion. They slowly do get used to NRC, with a bit of annoyed jabs to Crowley.

Yuu relies on their glyphs less than they did pre-travel to Twisted Wonderland but they do rely on them in secret and have practiced them a lot.

The ink of their glyphs attract overblots, much to their dismay, and often causes issues for Yuu to deal with. It's awful enough that they decided to try and study overblots to save themself.

Yuu has interest in magic, and is often curious at the magic this current world holds for them to see. They can't use that magic but they do try recreating it, so long as it won't break the laws of their world's magic.

There was a time that, during their birthday, someone gave them art materials (rulers, protractors, those pens where you can make a perfect circle, circle rulers with loads of sizes, and more) which caused Yuu to make lots of glyphs for fun out of gratitude and extreme excitement.

Yuu is a very studious person and takes note on anything needed to understand. They're someone who takes note with any needed detail. They pay attention to detail and often portray things as such.

Yuu finds interest in Ignihyde and Diasomnia especially, with one specializing in magic and the other in technology. Yuu likes to learn more from those dorms especially and is a bit more excitable around them but tries to act calm about it, though it's something very noticeable even if they try to act calm.

Possible spoilers for WHA under the cut + Angsty things:

Yuu utilizes memory wiping glyphs on the regular, much to their annoyance. Yuu doesn't hesitate to do it and is very swift with their choice on doing that.

Yuu has tried forbidden spells in secret from a spellbook the Brimhats brought to them. However, no one has found out and they don't speak of those rules of magic to Twisted Wonderland simply because they don't know the full story yet.

Yuu hides their glyphs at first and only does it in secret but is forced to use them in chapter 4, especially with the Jamil Hypnosis thing going on. They do use it in secret before it, with the main ones being the soarboots and glyphs used to make hidden areas.

Yuu isn't on good terms with the Knights Moralis, since they've sensed a trace of the Brimhats from them, much to their confusion. They do their best to not interact with them much and do follow their rules. Yuu has learned their lesson from that encounter and tries to follow the rules more, especially around Riddle who reminds them of the Knights.

Yuu doesn't have the best self esteem as a witch, they tend to be jealous of those that have accomplished a lot and want to be just like them, but they lack the chances to do so. Yuu was basically placed on the back burner as a witch, but they keep trying to improve just so they could be good enough for someone.

Yuu wasn't the first option for many Professors and was often picked last, and was the last apprentice around the same age with the others to be chosen by the professor. Yuu kept on trying and trying, even trying to use tricks to get the upper hand, but they didn't find any use in it. Once they graduated, they wanted to create more glyphs to practice but also to let out steam.

They created a scream-box where you can scream into it about your feelings and keep it in there, but those emotions will come back once someone listens to it. Yuu didn't reveal nor show it to anyone because they used it to scream their feelings out.

Yuu has made various magically enhanced things in order to make sure their wish to improve as a witch won't die. It's only in Twisted Wonderland where they found use to being a witch and keep going as one.

Yess, I love the idea of Silver and Sebek being wrapped up in Yuu’s shenanigans once Yuu becomes entwined with Malleus. And maybe it starts off reluctant; they don’t really know you, and you’re certainly different from their prince, but they’ve sworn to protect you so it doesn’t matter.

Silver is patient and able to keep a handle on his exasperation at the various things you’re dragged into by Ace, Deuce, and Grim, but Sebek is another story. He feels blasphemous for even thinking it, since you’re Malleus’ choice, but he truly can’t see why Malleus would have anything to do with you. His lord is intelligent, sophisticated, graceful, and the other day he watched you pull Grim out of a peanut butter jar after he got his head stuck in it.

But slowly, things begin to change. Sebek doesn’t get so worked up at seeing what you’ve gotten yourself into anymore, and the rest of you try to be on your best behaviour. It’s not so much a chore as it is part of their lives, when Silver and Sebek come to check on you. They find themselves choosing to spend time with you and your group. Sebek finds that his classmates may not be entirely undesirable as he once thought.

They sit at your table at lunch now, instead of one a few meters away to watch you. They’ll stick around to watch movies with everyone, settling in on the couch instead of just returning to their rooms when they can. And when Malleus returns to relieve them of their duties…they find themselves missing having someone to watch after so closely, someone they consider a friend.

Good thing for them, you’ll be around Briar Valley for them to protect soon, another addition to their unconventional family.

I Have to talk about YUUKEN!

I love what Twisted Wonderland did with Yuu as a concept like LOOK

they could’ve went for a bland “relatable” blank slate protag but instead they said FUCK IT have a bunch of YUUs with such charming designs

I’m genuinely so excited for the next books to be adapted so I can just collect the YUUs . I hope we see a fashionable Yuu (thinkin gyaru or goth) or yknow a straight dumbass like a Yuu that stinks to be around literally (man imagine a dumbass stuck in Book 6. pray for them)

Does this cause some continuity issues? Probably. But for a manga adaptation for a game like this I don’t mind it. It just makes each book special to me.

Another point to bring up. What about the anime? I don’t think it’s gonna follow the manga with all the YUUs which is a shame but the anime will probably have its own Yuu.

Anime!Yuu

Considering the direction of how Yuu is characterized in so many ways in the manga (sex, body, personality, etc.) I’m not concerned about how Yuu is done in the anime. I just hope I don’t get hit with passive protag #135368 common of visual novel to anime adaptations.

Hi! First-time asker has been compelled out of her silence by your awesome posts. First off I wanna say I've been following you for a while and I love your blog! Your posts always make my day. What's it like to have a brain that big?

Secondly, not a request but just a thought. There's been a lot of talk about the tittie pockets and the boys being surprised/impressed by them, but as a B-cup member of the itty bitty tittie committee, I can't help but consider the opposite. Aaaaa they're so sweet! Some of the guys are unaware that feminine clothes don't accommodate for things like pockets (guess with don't need pockets smh) and sometimes we're struggling to carry things. And no tiddy pockets!? Oof, maybe your bra can hold one or two smaller things like chapstick or a some cash, but that's about it. It's okay, Deuce is happily offering his pockets to hold your stuff! Some of them see you struggling, and Vil specifically gets you a bag he was sent from brand's gifting campaigns. It's not his style, he's not gonna make any videos about it, and it would be a waste to leave it collecting dust. So he's offering it to you so you can carry your stuff; I'm sure he's aware that skirts, dresses, and women/feminine clothing doesn't have deep enough pockets and stuff.

If you get Isekai-ed in Twisted Wonderland what would you do ?

Well me personally it depends :

In the case where I still have the plot knowledge:

1- I'll pray that I have a System even the Original Game Mechanism will do, and knowing how Isekai in Games works, there is a 100% chance that a System will be there.

2- If I have a System, I'll make sure to learn basic physical skills, a powerful punch and kick should put the boys straight.

3- Resources, if Rook can use his bow and arrows then I too will learn how to use that thing to hunt my own food. Cause Crowley is a piece of shit, I mean have you seen how he threatened us with taking food during chapter 3 ??? Sure he didn't say it out loud but hinted at it.

4- Knowing my dumbass I would be dead back in the real world so searching for a way to get citizenship is a MUST do.

5- The magic hammer, I shall get my hand on that thing.

6- Money ? The System covers that with Missions.

7- Relationships, uuuh what can I say ? The Dwarf Mines thing will never happen with me there I would let the trio deal with that shit alone, I am not the "Oh I should make sure the plot progress as it should" kind of person, bitch fuck that shit ! I want to live and I am clumsy as fuck, besides with how annoying Grim is I would have beaten some respect in him, that's why I would hope that Yuu is there to deal with that part, I am realistic not an idiot thank you.

Also being friends with Ace is a huge no for me, cause let's be fr for a moment and lets push our love for him to the side, are you telling me you're gonna become friends with the person who mocked you the first time they spoke to you ? The answer is no, of course not.

Not to mention at the rate that I am in, Idia has a better chance of getting friends more than me. (<_<)

8- I will NEVER make a contract with Azul, keep that golden trap away from me, so if Yuu isn't there to deal with it, I will never sign that shit to save anyones ass, you caused yourself that problem now swim in it.

Another Note : With Yuu being there it means we get kicked out from Ramshackle because they are stupid, and I am a vengeful person, I will make it so hard for them to finish that contact which means, one way or another I'll get that picture before them hide it, then sneak in Azul's vault take the Idiot Duos contract and keep it (not Deuce I love Deuce) and never let them get away. (Yes I am horrible)

9- When I get my shit together move away from Sage Island and live in peace. But that will take a long time. And if I have to suffer so does everyone.

Now In case I don't have a system but still know how the plot goes :

1- Get the magic hammer

2- See if Glyphs work (Owl House Fan) if they do good ! If they don't shit

3- Same as above, learn how to use a bow and hunt for my own food.

4- Follow the idiots to the Dwarf Mines and get the blot stone before Grim eats it and make sure HE DOES NOT EAT IT ! Then innocently walk up to Ortho who will scan me, ask for the blot rock for research I innocently ask why, he explains takes me to Idia who explains more and I ask something in exchange for it, I will explain to him that I am from another world, can't return and need citizenship, he will accept because hey ! Blot rocks are good for research !

5- Go around for a job, see if Sam can hire me if he can't... well Azul it is but I am bringing Ortho with me to help me get a good deal so I won’t get scammed.

6- If the Glyphs do work then I'll be praying for a Palisman, I guess ask the fairies if they have a tree seed that looks like a blue snail carapace ? If they do have it good, if they don't have it, well there goes another dream in the air.

7- Publish "Villain/Villainess Trope" cause Twisted Wonderland most likely doesn't have that, I will ask Ortho to help me by giving me tips on how to make it popular quickly.

8- Learn how to use potion in the case where Glyphs don't work, I mean have you seen what Yzma does with those things ??

9- Eeeh try to live a good life while I can.

1- Try my best

2- Die at the Dwarf Mines...... yeah.

some headcanons teehee

since giyuu was around a year longer, he’s technically, not like literally but he does have some sort of control of anyone who joined after him. so he does have some control sanemi, he doesn’t use it but it’s there.

tengen has and is picking up sane and yuu around and they both aren’t very happy about that, especially sanemi. mf hates it so much.

sanemi and giyuu get eachother, kinda. they can speak without like speaking at all, it’s a weird bond they have despite not getting along the best.

they are also being asked (peer pressured by tengen and gyomei and told by Kagaya) to have weekly hangouts to get along better, it’s painful for the both of them. but it’s getting better for them weirdly enough, they even got a secret handshake!!

gyomei is very happy hanging out with the three, it’s just such a happy feeling when he hears giyuu speak up, or sanemi apologizing and tengen saying legit advice. he’s happy to know that they’re growing better, it’s slow but they’re getting there.

they talk mad shit about the younger generation of hashira (basically the ones that join after them, except kanae, she’s very kind). they even got inside jokes and nicknames for eachother.

the three are well aware of giyuu’s lack of confidence when it comes to speaking, they try to help him but they sometimes just end up lecturing the mf (sanemi and tengen). gyomei knowing that giyuu’s gets overwhelmed and going a nonverbal, lets giyuu hide behind him.

gyomei tells dad jokes and giyuu finds them hilarious and it’s such torture to tengen and sanemi.

before the others came into the picture, these three had SO MUCH work to do. no sleep, no rest, nada. they were so tired of this but held strong for kagaya.

Leona is fucking DEAD. Cheka's screeching was already enough for his poor ears, but Reader's are on another level. Ruggie is not sure if he finds it funny or if he sympathizes

Riddle is another one who's dying, but because of a slight different cause. How can he educate a child when all his approaches are... Harsh? He doesn't want to be hated by Reader at any age, and he certainly doesn't want to treat her like his mom treated him.

Trey and Cater wince every new scream, but they're pretty good at taking care of her. Trey has experience with children, and Cater is just a fun person to be around. They tend to bicker because Cater wants to give her candies, but Trey worries about her teeth, to which Cater complains that there's just as much sugar in a tart than in a piece of candy, and they go from there

Jack does not think they should be giving any sugar to such a hyper child, but he'd rather she be holding candies than anything that could be used as a weapon. She has hit so many ankles already

Vil is keeping his distance after Reader threatened to pull on his hair. She's cute to look at from a distance, he says, and then leaves. Because of that, Epel is very willing to be near her, if only to get away from Vil, though he's appreciate if she stopped throwing his apple carvings on people's head.

Rook is actually having an ok time, since a hyper child means a child he needs to watch and run after. Very good prey, she loves playing hide-n-seek with him

Azul has practically locked himself in the office. He thinks she's cute, but his poor three hearts can't take two Floyds being loud and violence happy. He's very jealous of Jade, who appears to be having a grand time. It's probably the almost two decades with Floyd, this eel feels nothing.

Floyd is, as mentioned before, having the time of his life with a even more hyper tiny him to terrorize the world with him.

Jamil absolutely loves child Reader. Not because she's cute (tho he will agree that she is), but because she's giving Kalim some of his own medicine: does whatever she wants, whenever and however she wants, independent of whatever is happening around her, and expects him to follow her thought process. She manages to out-do Kalim in being a chatterbox and Kalim looks like Jamil on a good day: stressed, tired and done.

(Child Prefect is also pretty well mannered and behaved near Jamil, probably some remnant of her older self who knows this boy needs a break. Maybe that's why she wants Kalim to be the babysitter instead)

Sebek is SUFFERING. WHY IS THIS SMALL HUMAN SO LOUD?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE IS BEING LOUD, HAVE YOU NOT HEARD THE TINY HUMAN?! TINY HUMAN, CEASE YOUR YELLING AT ONCE!

Silver appreciates that she doesn't allow him to sleep... but also please let him sleep. Sometimes he does want to sleep. He gets surprisingly close to Leona in their quest to find a place she won't find them to nap

Lilia is also having the time of his life. It's Lilia, there's not much to say. He will give her a tiny sword and teach her how to use it. Say goodbye to your knees, NRC.

Malleus isn't sure about any of this, but then Reader sits on his lap and begs to nibble on his horns, and he is sold. Another one who gets a well mannered, behaved child. Other than the horn nibbling.

Ace and Grim are not allowed to come near her without Deuce and Jack with them. Deuce was given the explicit permission to punch Ace's face if he comes up with any stupid plan, so was Jack.

Idia is locked in his room. He can't take a hyper child. He can't take a hyper child that keeps knocking on his door and going "do you wanna build a snow maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan?". It's the middle of spring. There's no snow. Please stop.

Ortho is more than happy to stay with Reader. Noise? He can adjust his hearing. Too much energy? Hah! Same, quite literally. Wants to hit stuff? Well, Ignihyde has a training room full with breakable drones!

Crewel hates and loves her. He hates the loudness and the rowdiness, but he loves when she actually calms down and accompanies him. He likes cute pups, sue him

Trein is also one who gets a well mannered child, mostly because he's scary. But Lucius will let her pet him if she behaves, so that's also behind her good behavior

Vargas is basically Floyd 2.0. Someone get this child away from him. No, don't let Sam be alone with her instead! He isn't the problem, the problem is his friends from the other side who love to screech with her

Crowley is in Hell. She screams at him, hits his knees and bites his ankles if he gets too close. No one can tell why, but it might be yet another remnant of her older self. Everyone accepts that theory, except Crowley, who doesn't understand how she doesn't like his generous self.

After a week, the Ramshackle Housewarden is back to her actual age, and 90% of the NRC is crying of relief
