GOOD AFTERNOON, I am awake, and I have ideas which means I am not shutting up so I can take time off summer work!!

Witch Hat Atelier Yuu AU!! (Yuu is Gender Neutral here, with They/Them being used.)

Yuu is currently a graduated witch (aged somewhere around 16-17) and is currently practicing making various types of glyphs. Their outfits are always filled with a glyphbook, a sketchbook and extra paper, items for making glyphs (like the conjuring ink, pens, and what else, plus a just in case for ink making), plus their shoes are soarboots. They're ambidextrous due to their practice and due to having a tendency of causing their wrists to suffer and are dextrous enough to use their feet and mouth to write.

This Yuu is a bit more excitable and curious than most but is also very keen and understanding. Though, at the start, their guard was up due to their suspicion. They slowly do get used to NRC, with a bit of annoyed jabs to Crowley.

Yuu relies on their glyphs less than they did pre-travel to Twisted Wonderland but they do rely on them in secret and have practiced them a lot.

The ink of their glyphs attract overblots, much to their dismay, and often causes issues for Yuu to deal with. It's awful enough that they decided to try and study overblots to save themself.

Yuu has interest in magic, and is often curious at the magic this current world holds for them to see. They can't use that magic but they do try recreating it, so long as it won't break the laws of their world's magic.

There was a time that, during their birthday, someone gave them art materials (rulers, protractors, those pens where you can make a perfect circle, circle rulers with loads of sizes, and more) which caused Yuu to make lots of glyphs for fun out of gratitude and extreme excitement.

Yuu is a very studious person and takes note on anything needed to understand. They're someone who takes note with any needed detail. They pay attention to detail and often portray things as such.

Yuu finds interest in Ignihyde and Diasomnia especially, with one specializing in magic and the other in technology. Yuu likes to learn more from those dorms especially and is a bit more excitable around them but tries to act calm about it, though it's something very noticeable even if they try to act calm.

Possible spoilers for WHA under the cut + Angsty things:

Yuu utilizes memory wiping glyphs on the regular, much to their annoyance. Yuu doesn't hesitate to do it and is very swift with their choice on doing that.

Yuu has tried forbidden spells in secret from a spellbook the Brimhats brought to them. However, no one has found out and they don't speak of those rules of magic to Twisted Wonderland simply because they don't know the full story yet.

Yuu hides their glyphs at first and only does it in secret but is forced to use them in chapter 4, especially with the Jamil Hypnosis thing going on. They do use it in secret before it, with the main ones being the soarboots and glyphs used to make hidden areas.

Yuu isn't on good terms with the Knights Moralis, since they've sensed a trace of the Brimhats from them, much to their confusion. They do their best to not interact with them much and do follow their rules. Yuu has learned their lesson from that encounter and tries to follow the rules more, especially around Riddle who reminds them of the Knights.

Yuu doesn't have the best self esteem as a witch, they tend to be jealous of those that have accomplished a lot and want to be just like them, but they lack the chances to do so. Yuu was basically placed on the back burner as a witch, but they keep trying to improve just so they could be good enough for someone.

Yuu wasn't the first option for many Professors and was often picked last, and was the last apprentice around the same age with the others to be chosen by the professor. Yuu kept on trying and trying, even trying to use tricks to get the upper hand, but they didn't find any use in it. Once they graduated, they wanted to create more glyphs to practice but also to let out steam.

They created a scream-box where you can scream into it about your feelings and keep it in there, but those emotions will come back once someone listens to it. Yuu didn't reveal nor show it to anyone because they used it to scream their feelings out.

Yuu has made various magically enhanced things in order to make sure their wish to improve as a witch won't die. It's only in Twisted Wonderland where they found use to being a witch and keep going as one.

i am so beyond tired beyond burnout, i went out for coffee this morning and when i placed my order, the barista so gently asked “would you like an extra shot of espresso in that? it’s on the house” and i almost cried. people good sometimes

#that extra shot did me good too #this whole internship has been a race between me finishing and my chronic illness getting more and more severe and #it’s down to the wire and they’re neck and neck #i started my last week of my last rotation by fainting for the first time in over five years since before i resumed school before my surgery #it’s real bad over here 🥹#BUT me n books had a good conversation about how to better support each other and they’ve been here for me which has been nice #but i don’t LIKE asking for help and relying on other people like this so i’m gonna have to make Getting Better my summer project this year #which will be hard bc the summer depression hits harder at this lower latitude but #i’m gonna do my best. and i won’t have school! for the first time in so long i won’t have school 😶#i’m so excited to get back into RECREATIONAL learning. just for me. because i like it and i’m curious and that’s good for me #me n Books are planning to move in together around the end of the summer and i was like #Every few months i’ll have to tell you what i’m thinking about studying next so you can pick what you’d most want to hear me infodump about😂#it’ll be fun! i already have a rabies lesson plan ready to go (downloaded the most recent textbook on it for free from the uni library 😎)#but i also have good resources to learn about the chemistry and oropharyngeal physiology of taste/flavor AND #i found a great book on ancient meso/american cuisine #plus i’ve flagged so many MOOCs for later. about all kinds of stuff #ANYWAY. it’s been a rough couple weeks/months/years but the end is like. right here. i just have to finish

Arthur Morgan x Male!Reader Hcs

Hey!! I wanted to make another hc list cuz the last one did so well! I made this an x male!reader because as a gay trans guy, there really isn’t too much when it comes to male readers. I just wanna make other people who feel the same and myself feel happy and represented!

Also to add Arthur is autistic in this

Warnings: Mention of vomit

Though he maybe aversive to touch with others, arthur is SUCH a cuddle bug with his partner. When they first start out he’s shy and will hold your hand or wrap his arm around your shoulders.

but once it’s long term arthur gives you big bear hugs, hands around your waist, holding you close by the fire, and of course those soft kisses <3

When he’s drunk, he pulls you onto his lap, smothers your face in kisses, and yells about how much he loves you.

Arthur also gets shy when it comes to talking about his interests. If you mention something like drawing or horses, he’d make a small comment or addition to the conversation. But once he’s comfortable enough, he’ll infodump for hours about horses to you!

Just hold him close, let his head rest on your chest while you pet his hair and he infodumps, and he’s in heaven!

Some pet names he’d call you would include: “Darlin, Sweetheart, My prince, My man, Hun, and Sunshine” :3 When you call him any pet name, his heart melts and his legs feel like jelly

He loves giving and receiving praise! He’ll whisper in your ear “good boy” just to mess with you cuz he know it makes you BLUSH! But he’ll also be like “atta boy!” or “yup, that’s my boy.”

The first time you praised him, it felt really odd for him. He hadn’t been praised like that ever since he’d been with Mary. It felt so foreign but so…good.

His big ol’ heart skips a beat when you tell him how proud you are of him, or how he looks so handsome in that new shirt you got him. He feels like the happiest man on earth

Now unfortunately, times weren’t as accepting as they are now. You and Arthur knew it had to be kept secret for fear of what might happen. You two don’t feel any embarrassment at all, just a need for a safety. The gang knows about you two, most of them accepting you with welcome arms!

You also help Arthur out more with errands, jobs, and chores. Ever since an incident were Arthur worked his way up to illness like vomiting, you’ve made it your duty to lay off the weight on Arthur’s shoulders.

If he needs help with the hay bales, you’ll be right next to him holding one. If he’s going out on a stage job from alden, you ask if you can tag along!

Arthur has gotten better with accepting help or rest, but not so much asking for it. You still encourage Arthur to request help if he needs it, and how he’s not weak for doing so.

There have even been times where you’d yell at Dutch and Strauss to leave Arthur be for a bit.

He’ll sometimes doodle little drawings of you in his journal as well as writing lovey dovey passages about you and putting “A<3Y/N” with a big heart too. He’ll even just doodle random hearts while spacing out and thinking about you..

He gets so excited to see you, even if you can’t tell. The way his eyes light up like a big puppy dog’s as he speed walks over to your horse to greet you and give you a welcome back kiss

He also penguin pebbles and finds random stuff that reminds him of you!! Whether it be a cigarette card, a flower, or even some artifact or object he found…he WILL give it to you!

ramblings under the cut. asks welcomed! i was planning on adding more doodles but my creativity fizzled out a little but maybe ill doodle responses to asks ...

my saint is very directly connected to sliver of straw. when she ascended, it was a huge, messy process of her entire mind and structure fragmenting and falling apart, pivoted on her trying so desprately to communicate the solution she had found in the seconds she had left.

so that central drive that pushed her through all of her iterations, in the chaos, fragments. and it chooses to swim up, to try and communicate that solution.

saint wakes up the day the last iterator finally collapses. its time is now, with the final goal: free them from their suffering, end this cycle and urge in the next civilization. let iterators finally rest, rather than slowly bleed out into the snow for countless millenia more until the void sea eats up to them.

something fucks me up about the narrative coming full circle especially. sliver started all this chaos. now, a part of her is finally going to put it all to bed.

saint is largely unaware of what they are, but as they reach closer and closer, and eventually hit attunement, she is very lost in this. half understanding, enlightened state, where she knows her purpose and does it but knows she isn't whole and is struggling to comprehend it all.

so, to become whole, she plunges herself into the void again and again. just for that moment- to slot herself back into the heart [rubicon is sliver's dream !!! [KIND OF]] and gain full understanding of the wish it represents.

and so saint ascends the void worm, realizing that she's not done yet.

and so she wakes back up again, to wander the lands between fallen gods and bring mercy to whomever it encounters

So what i call magic in splatoon is less 'high fantasy bullshit' and more 'its all around and you don't notice it' like the post said (my example was electricity irl and how we use it rn for mundane stuff). It's all headcanon also btw but very supported by stuff from the games themself

List of stuff thats magic in splatoon in no particular order (ill go over these after): music, technology (human made especially), DNA, ink maybe?, salmonids migration, probably more but thats all i got (infodump under the cut)

SO music has been canon magic since splatoon 1 and actually its linked to the DNA part!! ,,,I probably need to explain human technology part first to understand that but it's basically all the Alterna logs basically.

Quick recap tho: the earth is fucked > some humans go live underground in giant domes all over the globe(unsure) > in one of them they devellop crystals out of molluscs like squids n octopus ability to change color based on emotions and use those to make giant LCD screens to line the dome > fast forward 2 generations of underground humans > the next gen scientists who want to go out even if thats a fucked up idea > rocket go poof n destroys the screen > the squid LCD crystals seep into the ocean n evolution happens for every creature to turn into anthros

also most impportantly the crystals retained the hopes of dreams of all of humanity down there* (important)

now fast forward 10 000 years and we find this scroll in splatoon 1

and that melody famously created a revolution by every single octarian realising they actually have free will at once (it did NOT break any kind of mind control they just lived all their live in an authoritarian society) so already we can tell theres something up with.

another time we find that melody thats important is the end credit for splatoon 3 (wave goodbye) at around the 3:00 mark

,,,now im realizing this isnt exactly what i had in mind but the first time i heard it i thought the voice had no gargling like inkfish voices n instead it was the voices of all humanitys ghosts coming together to sing that part. But if we still go with that then (my headcannon) that means that melody thats been etched into sea life DNA was actually a human anthem that was kept in the memories of the LCD crystal

Now in splatoon 3 theres a lot of magic anyway lol but idk how to even explain that (the 3 lights, lil buddy becoming a kaiju, big man making ink) so use ur imagination for that lol but its there.

other human technology that's also magic: the machine to keep judd alive that somehow made him immortal AND clone him

There's more magic hidden in the game (like however the ink from the ink tanks fuels our weapon via bluetooth and how some non-inkfish characters can somehow use ink for turf wars) but thats why i tagged sasha lol

oh yea for the salmon migration bit i'm specifically talking about the 7 rings when a big run happens. idk how to explain that so therefore its magic

in terms of me info dumping or ranting, well im gonna leave my turtles to do any proper star trek takes lmao (donnie shall be my mouth piece, as i am the voyager stan)

but what i can say is star trek to me is not like a thing i ever actively watched as a kid, but something both my parents had an interest in. so i recognized ferengi and klingons before i knew what they were based on my dads graphic tees, i knew what the ships looked like cuz we had model ships. i have memories of watching star trek characters without having any idea what was going on, specifically janeway lol

and ive not finished any show, though i feel like ive seen all events in most shows? because the way star trek was intended to be watched was episodically on television, and thats how i consumed most of it.

and the other thing ill say is me and the editor (my sibling) came up with the idea based on like a silly thing i said which was simply "hey if the turtles love star trek canonically and 03 is the right age for the next gen - ds9 age, i bet they each have a different favorite, what would they be?"

we didnt have to think two seconds about mikey, mikey would love TOS its a classic it fits the vibes of mikeys classic comic book collection.

leo would love next gen because he would see picard as the best captain and want to emulate that. also think its interesting based on the fact 12 leo trys to emulate the picard parody (who is...a bad leader to emulate lmao, if 12 leo had proper star trek so many leadership issues would have been solved /j)

the real discussion came in the form of between raph and donnie whos voy and whos ds9. as im the raph and theyre the donnie, i wanted to offer up the donnie ds9 cuz thats their favorite show and voy is mine, but they said that raph would like ds9. specifically the politics and more intense war plot lines would speak to him. and that (maybe spoiler for something id wanna draw but oh well) during leos depression arc leo would like to sit and watch that with him because it would speak to him too at that time.

and as for donnie we didnt have the best reasoning for him loving voyager most, what else could we say but donnie has rizz (03 donnie is the only one who has a maybe romance in a one off episode, and i just.... yeah) but then i kind of thought about it more, and something about everyones favorite donnie episode same as it never was (and other donnie central plots) something about the crew of voyager trying like hell to get home even if they might be dead before they make it? i think it speaks to him.

but yeah! i have a lot of thoughts about it, kind of cuz of the age 03 is set in and the way that specific family unit is, that star trek speaks to them for a multitude of reasons! so im kind of making this little series thing about representation without knowing thats what youre looking for ? if that makes sense.

Another small educational post featuring the turtles!

This time we have a very popular headcanon that Mikey has really scuffed up his arms in canon and wears compression gloves to fight tremors. But I have a little big add-on to this one! Which is basically that Mikey has arthrosis.

(Ive put some links regarding compression gloves for the pain regarding arthrosis. But! Theres also articles for studies on compression gloves that help with tremors which honestly are more relevant here pfff. I just like comparing things a lot and the headcanon that Mikey has both tremors and arthrosis just cant leave my head. This is really getting a little bit full link wise, I apologize.)

I can imagine that he's dealing with this arthrosis, which is a degenerative disorder that affects the cartilage that protects the bones from rubbing against each other. This is very simplified and you can read more on it in one of the links ill put onto this post! Actually I'll add on a ton of links because this topic is just this vast! Although, theres some other things you can do.

So first, regarding the arthrosis itself.

Arthrosis can exist from a dull throb to a very painful sting which can change daily depending on many factors like strain put on the joints, weather, or just eating specific foods.

In this next image I will show you an exercise I have learned in my training as an occupational therapist that I can swear works. Ive been doing it for my friend and mother, both who suffer from arthrosis in their hands, and they both said that me doing it has helped with the pain in their joints immensely.

okay so, this post is based on Formula 1 contract extension news.

Charles Leclerc is a monsagasque driver for Scuderia Ferrari. This past season was trash and it wrecked all of us ferrari fans. like, shit kept going sideways and nothing ever went right haha there were times were the drivers (Carlos Sainz is the other driver) would be managing their own race strategies while driving so it was just a shit show. Crashes, DNFs, and like everything that could’ve gone wrong, went wrong.

Two days ago, it was announced that Charles signed a contact extension to stay on with the team for a few more season (thinking until 2026? maybe more?)

Forza Ferrari (Sempre) is like the “ferrari power” “ferrari power, always”.

so like after ever shit race last season, we’re all like “forza ferrari!” to try and stay positive hahaha but ugh, charles is such a good driver and deserves a winning chance. i just don’t think ferrari is it, but ill support him through whatever. cause, Forza Ferrari Sempre 🏎️

Lando Norris is a Mclaren driver whose contract didn’t end until 2025, and the fact that he’s announcing his contact extension early is like “uhhhh okay?” just a little odd, but pop off king.

Also- when drivers contacts are going to expire and everyone’s wondering where they’re gonna go or if they’re not coming back for the next season, it’s called Silly Season.

♦️ (quirks/hobbies): I always thought he would be into history and mythology (and the fact that in canon he named himself Argos made me happy because of that). But also I love that the bible states that "the only hobby he allows himself" is art. It would give him and Bri something to bond over, and it's just nice seeing a character who chooses to go into STEM but is also artistic. I don't want him to be perfect at everything though. Maybe his drawings are anatomically correct, but not very expressive. Maybe he writes mediocre poetry sometimes and doesn't show it to anyone. Stuff like that. I feel like Bri gets not only infatuated with him, but also inspired by him? Like he's kind of a muse for her. There is a line about how she wants to create beautiful things that bring happiness to people. And I want him to get inspired by her too. I think also, as he starts opening up to people more, it would be easy to get him infodumping. He would be that kind of person in the group that knows a lot of random stuff, from historical facts to how to get out blood and coffee out of clothes. He would probably read Wikipedia for fun, tbh

▼ (childhood): Okay, I have, like, a vague backstory for him in my head, but it's not defined yet. The backstory the bible gives him is "hothead/daredevil, kinda spoiled, got into an accident and now wants to regain his old abilities". I kinda want to take some stuff from that and mix with my old interpretation. I had an idea that instead of the accident, it was a genetic chronic illness that made him disabled and also led to his mom dying. And I'm also attached to the headcanon of him being in ballet class with Allegra before all of that went down. So due to his illness, his father insists that he is homeschooled and Allegra is the only kid he is still in contact with. They try different treatments and such, and finally his father decides to move to Paris so he can get better education and treatment there. Him and Allegra get separated and the next time they meet is when he's allowed to go to public school - and lo and behold, there is a familiar face.

ൠ (random) - This is really random, but I like to headcanon him as face blind. He still can't recognise Ladybug because of magic, but he also struggles with recognising people when they just change clothes or hairstyles. And people attribute that to him being rude or not paying attention, meanwhile he is just internally going "am I supposed to know this person??" Needless to say, it doesn't help to make connections with people.

okay first Dani is from my uncharted fanfiction series. originally started in 2016 my first story finished in 2017 where i had planned to make a sequel but didn't start it until this year. the original story and the sequel follow the events of Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, the AU follows uncharted 4 during the prison in Panama but doesn't follow the same timeline.

me and a friend of mine back when uncharted 4 first came out helped me create Dani. note: we were two very mentally ill girlies, so a lot of the themes can get very heavy. a lot of trauma so trigger warning!

okay now onto Dani:

age: in the original story she's a couple years younger than Rafe, so in her early 30s. in the AU she is the same age as him, so born in the 1970s. (Rafe is estimated to be 35-38 in during the events of Uncharted 4)

how she got involved with the adlers

Dani's father, while decent at his job of artifact collecting, often had issues with biting off more than he could chew. coupled with gambling problems and double-crossing, he would find himself in hot water more than once. He was recruited by the Adlers for his expertise when Dani was a baby. The Adlers became his main clients, but he would borrow a lot from them, so a debt had to be settled.

My old friend and I are huge fans of Titanic, so picture Cal and Rose for this next part. Took heavy inspiration from their relationship in the movie without even realizing it at first lol.

Dani isn't given much choice and has to wed Rafe. Their marriage is more of a "business transaction" how I would describe it. Although they grew up together and do genuinely get along, there isn't exactly romantic feelings there.

In the main/original story they have two children.

Holden Adler (son, deceased)

Vera Adler (daughter)

What drove the final wedge in their marriage was the death of Holden. To put it briefly from one of the chapters in the story: He died tragically in an accident under Rafe's care. Dani fled hiding and becoming estranged. To protect her daughter her cousin Sophie has custody.

Their relationship in the AU will be a bit different.

Those are the main words that come to mind while describing Dani. Obviously traumatized from different events in her life, she often has issues with regulating her emotions and cries easily. Most of her life has been out of her control so she often listens to others when they tell her to do something (within reason) and can be easily persuaded and can flip-flop.

She keeps peoples at arms length at first, but once she befriends them and builds a relationship she tends to give them the benefit of the doubt. Very empathic, she can feel when the tone and mood shifts without anything being spoken.

Since Dani was pretty much groomed into the thief/artifact seeker lifestyle, she specializes in that, specifically in ancient East Asian arts and history. She would go on "jobs" because she either had to pay off her father's debts or because the Adlers wanted their hands on something.

Her focus can also wane due to her traits of suicidal ideation and fear from scary loan sharks (amongst other things). Because of this she can be both physically and emotionally absent as a parent, especially after the death of Holden it was extremely difficult for her to cope.

In the original story and the sequel, Dani narrates the story from her point of view and leaves a lot about her past, her motives, and even keeps certain things like her children a secret from the reader and the characters in the story. That's why I labeled her as an unreliable narrator.

She’s currently living with her cousin and daughter in the Philippines, making being an active parent her main priority.

Dani's relationship with Sam:

Working on doing a more in-depth analysis of their relationship with the new AU.

Sam and Dani get along well from the start. Both emotional, they sometimes clash, but there's no denying their attraction to each other. Dani loves how he was able to find freedom in his life, and how passionate he is about Henry Avery (for example), and that he actually likes what he's doing, it's not a forced chore or just a job to him. Sam likes to flirt with Dani a lot, and she doesn't know how to really respond to it.

Unsure how to label their relationship, they kind of have a friends with benefits thing going on? Dani's convinced she has real feelings for him, but her lack of experience with actual healthy relationships might have her perspective warped.

in conclusion

Dani is a complex and deeply flawed character who experienced a lot of trauma, and doesn't often regulate her emotions in the healthiest ways. She is going through a lot of growth and is coming back mentally stronger than ever, the first step was finally cutting off her parents and making peace with Rafe (kinda) before his death (in the first story). In my original efforts to keep her as authentic/real as possible, and to prevent her from being a "Mary Sue" (super outdated term now that I don't agree with) I might have went a little too hard on displaying her weaknesses in an attempt to keep her more grounded. I had a lot of feedback from the community at the time that seemed in favor of this, so I kept going. I'm going to be taking a slightly different approach in the AU, but I'm going to keep her mostly the same.

I don't know what to say, I love flawed characters and Dani is my broken baby.

oh my god i just finished the last episode of arcane and i feel ill im going to sob im going to frow up im unwell about this show. I WANT TO CRY WHYYYY

Infodump and thoughts under the cut! (i cant promise any of it will make sense)

jinx is just such an interesting character to me and the way the art style changed when she was having her breakdown was soooo ough it scratched my brain. With the way it sorta appeared to be almost childlike drawings (which had appeared throughout the show) and if FELT terrifying. I could talk for hours about the film techniques in the last fifteen minute of the episode alone but that's its own post. You could TELL that she snapped and you could sympathize with her even if you knew what she was doing was wrong.

To be honest i never really liked Silco, he was a good, very well written character but I always saw him as the bad guy. Yet his death still made me cry! Because it wasn't about the power or the money in the end, it was about Jinx! His 'daughter' who he always defended up until the point she eventually killed him. And his final words to her 'you're perfect'! He forgives her! He loves her! And maybe even accepts the parts of her that he never liked, or thought were weak, the part of her that still answered to Powder.

And there's the way that Vi still calls her Powder! Despite everything Vi can still only see her little sister. Which is a good and a bad thing in itself!

I have more to add but that would be even less comprehensible so i might leave it till later

I am so so insane about this show tho, i am going to rematch it 200 times until the next season comes out

ok!! i finished the goobers if they escaped the funni circus, there are horrible and bad, but they are mine (pls dont comment how i draw ppl, i said it was gonna be bad looking if i drew them.), now... for the infodumping (under the cut ofc)

- how did they get out? well, i have two ideas for this 1. computer fire, whatever server/vessel their concussnesses were being kept in catches on fire (cause it old a fudk) outside ppl put it out, find out there's like, actual humans inside. and via some magic-migiver stuff they get them out, this way they still look far more like their "digital" selves. including skin color, bodily features (like ears and tails) and other stuff. 2. (and this is the one I'm going with for the above pic set maybe a year-ish after pomni entered the circus) 2-3 teens/young adults sneak into the (most likely) abandoned C&A building looking for goodies to sell for a quick buck. they find the computer and server (assuming there even IS a server attached to it) and deiced to unplug and sell it along with everything attached to it (the headset n everything), unplugging the server causes everyone inside to go into a sorta stasis-like state. few buy it before quickly returning it to the teens/young adults, claiming its "haunted" one of them (ill call protag) takes it home to look at. they quickly find out its more then just "haunted" several missing persons are trapped inside like some SAO-Esaki stuff. not wanting them to be trapped the protag tried to tell anyone that would listen that this is real and they have to listen. but ofc, them being "just a teen" doesn't lend them much help. eventually SOMEONE listens, some strange man who after seeing it, pays the kid a decent chunk of money before taking the computer (and server) away, seemingly never to be seen again. jumpcut to pomni waking up in a hospital bed. she quickly finds out that via unknown means she was able to get out along with everyone else. they all quickly become celebrity's due to their unique circumstances. but they all go their separate ways while still keeping in touch. now for head cannons :) jax would be THE whiteboy troll of all time. making money by doing youtoube stuff, id think he'd be the 2nd happyest to be out of the circus, behind pomni Id think that ragitha would be a therapist she just seems like the kind of person who would do something like that Gangle, well, id think that they'd be at least a little mentaly impaired from what was seen in the pilot. id think they'd live with ragitha or jax as they recovered and maybe mentaly grew up a bit.

I'm not Shure what job pomni would get but she shure as hell would be paranoid near constantly, thinking that this could be ripped away at any moment, and the next day she'd wake up back in the circus, in fact its so bad she often has nightmares about it.

Kinger would prob just be some old conspiracy dude who watches fox news or somethin zooble would maybe be some sort of fashion guru or commentary youtuber (shh im not good at making up jobs) Cane and bubble would have probably escaped into the internet, and be thoroughly traumatized (seeing as there's a lot of nsfw and other stuff like that) at the time they'd flee to someplace like VRchat due to its similarity to their old world they they escaped due to fear(?)

○ Astarion pretends not to listen to you. When you infodump about languages, plants, ect. He often pretends to get distracted - usually by saying he can't help but get caught up by how beautiful you are when you speak (which he means more than his tone indicates) It can be irritating, but down the line when he reiterates facts you'd taught him, you realize he was genuinely hearing you. At least ad best he could. Honestly it takes him time, but he learns a few basic sentences in your interest languages to impress you, just based on you telling him about them.

○ You play friendly one upping games in teasing one another, but Astarion wins literally every time. You flirt with him, and when he reciprocates he does so with 10x intensity just to make you blush and stutter. He lives(?) for fluttering you. Even as you get brave enough to keep up more, and flirt further, he'll always take it to a higher level just to get those cheeks pink. (Always within your boundaries ofc)

○ Sometimes, with you being so intelligent, goal-driven, and passionate, he would get discouraged in the beginning because he genuinely didn't feel good enough. After many a long talk and a little time, he finally finds his place in supporting you - emotionally and physically. You teach him that you rely on him too, and that goes from something scary to something that gives him purpose. Cooking, cleaning -- he's more surprised than you are to find himself helping with those things after you've passed out from a day of work and research.

okay sorry bout that not every day i get ask about my 0 braincell ship so

I seriously don't know where to start...? Because this ship is tied to Valerie's backstory and explaining all of that would make me look like I'm infodumping so 😭😭😭

Tldr version would be that Valerie was kidnapped and sold to Japan. The gang bought a bunch of kids (including Val) to make them do petty crimes. Eventually Valerie was picked for a job of stealing weapon blueprint from an Arasaka facility in Tokyo. She succeeded but got captured by Shintaro Takayama (Saburo's bodyguard) as Saburo visited the facility unexpectedly. Instead of being killed, Valerie was taken in to become Shintaro's protegee, and that was how she ended up becoming Hanako's bodyguard, plus part time executioner for those who plotted against Arasaka, until 2072 when she "left" Arasaka to got back to NC.

The main themes for this couple are contrast and gap.

There is the class gap, which is obvious because Valerie was simply a bodyguard, while Hanako was the treasured daughter of the Emperor

The age gap: Valerie was 14 when she officially became Hanako's personal bodyguard, so there was this 54 years gap between them. It contradicts to their roles, which leads us to the next point

The role contrast: Valerie was Hanako's protector; however, because of their difference in ages, most of the time Hanako treated Valerie as if she was a child, which was technically not wrong. But Valerie had been taught that she should never concern Hanako with such things, so she felt guilty, and all at the same time, because of her fucked up time in the gang and harsh training by Shintaro, she somewhat craved having someone cares for her the way Hanako did.

Expanding on the role contrast and age gap, Valerie was young, but she had to coat her hands with blood in order to serve the Arasaka; at the age where she should able to keep her innocence, killing instead became a familiar act with her. Hanako, on the other hand, was still in a glided cage at that age, having everything handed to her if her father allowed so. The young was not treated as young and the old was not treated as old; the young who had already lost everything and the old who still had everything. Valerie had to fight tooth and nail, risking her life to gain nothing for herself, while Hanako didn't even have to face the ugliness of the world to have power and wealth.

Ethereal and otherworldly, she has never had grime from the street besmirch her clothes or the imperfections of age or illness pock her body-the latest and greatest marvels of cosmetic engineering have always been at her back and call. Her entire essence is one of dissonance: age without aging, power without agency, family without real intimacy or trust.

The Official Artbook of Cyberpunk 2077, about Hanako Arasaka

Valerie was aware of how she was contributing in building Hanako's glass cage. She realized she had a hand in taking away the older woman's freedom, but she was blinded by duty and responsibility: she knew Hanako was capable of changing the whole world, but she was also scared that the cruel world, the very much same world that had broken Valerie would break her too.

They formed a translucent barrier around her, forcing her to stay in this suffocating bubble in the name of protection, all while she could thrive more and more and more if only she was given the chance.

our sanctuary in this broken world, chapter 3

In the current time of 2077, Valerie and Hanako's relationship has shifted to this complex stage of "we are both fucked right now but we are also busy pining each other": Valerie is dying, just lost her best friend, and prior to that was pushed off the corporate ladder which forced her to stay away from her family so that they wouldn't get mixed in her new life; Hanako just lost her father, and from their point of view at that time, her brother was very much planning to kill her. (Fun fact, Hanako died in every route except the Devil; however, Yorinobu never intended her death in all of those endings, but it happened either way.)

I chose glass sanctuary because I was impulsive it represents what Valerie and Hanako try to find in each other: a sanctuary amidst of this storm brewing out there. However, it was fragile, for that they were of two different worlds - their differences are what draw them together, but also what break them.

So yeah, that's what I can say for now...? I say I won't infodump but damn this is pretty much it either way lolol.
