How they wake you up:

Butler Octavinelle

Azul is rather meek when it comes to awakening you from your slumber. You’ve worked so hard… it would be a shame to disturb your well-deserved rest.

He’ll only push open the door at the very last second. Even then, he does it very slowly, fearing that even a creak could awaken you.

Azul isn’t too crude with the way he wakes you up. The aroma of breakfast would suffice, no?

Armed with a silver tray of your meal, he calls your name softly, gently. Cajoling you from the land of dreams.

Sometimes, if you’re in a rather deep sleep, Azul might sneak in a touch or two. Gloved fingers sliding down your face, brushing stray hairs aside with practised ease. Forgive him, but you do look adorable asleep.

“Master, it’s time to wake up…”

Jade’s a little more precise about this task. He’ll wake you up at whatever time you appoint.

The time he enters your room? Not too precise. Jade always takes it upon himself to enter a little bit earlier, if it’s just to admire your sleeping form.

So defenceless, his little master. Snoozing away, without a single care in the world. Rather endearing,truly.

As much as he’ll like nothing more but to watch you rest, you do have duties to attend to. Jade leans over you, fingers gently picking up locks of your hair, tucking them behind your ear. He whispers sweet nothings into it, breath warm, tickling your ear.

Sometimes, if you’re a little too persistent, he nibbles your earlobe. Razor sharp fangs pressing into your skin, never enough to bruise, of course. But a silent threat is sufficient, hm? If the way you bolt upright is any indicator.

“Good Morning, Master~”

Floyd’s rather erratic when it comes to waking you up. Sometimes, he barges into your room at the break of dawn, throwing himself at your bed. Sometimes, he doesn’t even slink in until noon, dragging his feet.

Somehow, ever since you’ve tasked Floyd with waking you up, you always seem to have a good night’s sleep. He observes you, throwing schedules out of the water.

If you need the rest, he’ll give it to you. What’s the point of waking Master up if they’re going to be in a slump all day? That’s no fun.

Floyd likes to pull your blanket away in your sleep. One good, sharp yank, and there goes your warmth! The way you curl and shiver… it’s just like a lil’ shrimp! That’s cute~

On certain days, when you’re remarkably tired,Floyd slides into the bed with you.Throwing his arms around your waist, giving you a good hard squeeze. That will perk you up right away, yeah?

“Wakey Wakey, Shrimp Sama!”

la puerta del inferno

in which floyd takes you on an impromptu date.

a/n: not proofread, had this one rotting in my drafts for a while so i hope it’s okay. floyd’s probably ooc too, sincerest apologies.

“shrimpyyyyy!” echoed from behind you in the hall as you walked alongside ace and deuce. instinctively the duo recognized the voice and broke into a dead sprint, leaving you behind to deal with floyd yourself.

as you heard his footsteps get closer he grabbed your shoulders and wrapped his arms around you in a back hug.

“shrimpy!! found ya!”, he giggled, all whilst keeping you in that tight hug.

“what’s up floyd?,” you smiled back at him.

“i need your help with somethin’”, he replied with a closed eye grin.

“eat up, shrimpy!” floyd exclaimed.

the booth table where both of you sat, floyd directly across of you, was covered in dishes. from mere appetizers to three course meals and deserts.

“what’s all this for?”, you questioned.

sure, you and floyd hung out and got along well and sure, he made your stomach do flips and your heart race, but what of it would lead to this?

“just wanted to hang out ya,” he smiled, flashing his teeth at you as he grabbed a knife and a fork and began to cut into what appeared to be a fancy steak dish.

“open wide, shrimpy,” he crooned, as he fed you bites of the steak. your heart was racing like you were in a marathon, you could feel butterflies flailing wildly in your stomach as you ate the steak that he, floyd leech of all people, fed you.

so not only was your crush cutting and feeding you pieces of steak, the steak was absolutely incredible.

“wow! this is really good, floyd. who made all of this?”, you exclaimed.

“hehe, that’s a secret, shrimpy~”, he answered, his eyes never once leaving your face.

unbeknownst to you, floyd himself had cooked, baked and prepared every single dish on that table. all of it — just for you.

“no, floyd, really…who made all this? it’s incredible!,”

“why’s it matter? did’ya like it or not?”, he pouted.

“liked it? i loved it! thanks for treating me, floyd. next times on me.”, you replied, feeling far too giddy for your heart’s sake.

at that floyd’s face broke into a huge grin.

as you and floyd conversed, the other leech twin approached your table.

“floyd, [name], i’m glad to see that your date went well. is there anything else i can help you with?”, jade smiled as you felt your mouth open wide agape.

“what? date???”, you questioned and the grins on the twins faces confirmed your question.

“‘course it is, shrimpy~, i made it all myself just for ya,”floyd smiled at you, very pleased with himself.

“and since ya said you’d treat me next time, that oughta count as a second date, right?~”

Azul Ashengrotto

Somebody’s blushing~ Nah but for real, the first time he saw you he fell hard and fast for you. You were just so elegant and kind, and so unusual compared to the other humans around NRC. You were able to see right through him and help him through his insecurities.

He finds it comforting for you to be there waiting for him after a long day of school and running the Mostro Lounge. You would walk with your arm in his as you looked like you were glowing in the moonlight.

The first time you brought your seductive side out to play, he was super flustered. He’s having trouble breathing, he feels very warm, the tweels are teasing the living heck out of him. He’s very overwhelmed. However, he can’t say that he dislikes it.

Once, when he went to visit you in Ramshackle (which you obviously feel right at home in) he saw you taking care of a few Venus Flytraps. It wasn’t unusual to see someone taking care of plants here, but to see you snatching a fly out of thin air and feeding it to the plant was definitely out of the ordinary.

It’s refreshing to see someone with such a positive outlook on everything. He tends to see things in a more negative light, so you brought a new perspective into his life. He returns the favor by getting you many gifts that remind him of you.

Jade Leech

The Gomez in this situation. When he looks into your eyes, all you can see is pure love and adoration. You both dance the nights away as you enjoy being close with each other. He thinks you’re absolutely beautiful as you both sway together.

It leaves a warm feeling in his heart when he sees you enter the Mostro Lounge and request to be seated in his section. Once you got your food (which he paid for), he would take his 15 minute break to spend time with you.

The first time you brought out your more seductive nature, he reciprocated it immediately. He would do the thing where he starts kissing your hand and slowly moves up. It makes others so envious because they wish they had a relationship (with you) like that.

You both have a green thumb and offer each other tips on how to allow your plants to flourish and thrive. You’ve gifted him a few Satan’s Bolete mushrooms and he’s given you Nightshade seeds. It gives you both a reason to visit each other often.

I would say he’s fairly positive. More so than his twin, at least. Of course, your positive view is more macabre than normal. Once, while you were dancing, a sparrow landed on a nearby branch and you whispered that it would make for a good trinket. He smiled, glad to finally find someone like him.

Floyd Leech

He would most likely call you ‘Dolphin’ because you’re graceful, intelligent, friendly, and most importantly… you have a darker side to you. Another thing he has noticed is that you're loyal to those you love.

Whenever he has to work a late shift at the Lounge, his bad mood is almost immediately lifted when you walk in the door. He will run over and give you a big squeeze, telling you about how much he missed you. You have a very strong pain tolerance, so only you can handle his hugs.

When you first start acting like your seductive self, he is both flustered and entertained. If he sees you being particularly affectionate, he will pull you into his lap where you both will act all lovey-dovey with each other.

As silly as it is, he gets jealous about how much attention you give your beloved plants. He will sit and pout as you whisper positive affirmations towards the Flytraps you love. Of course, once you finish, you turn around and start cooing at him lovingly and he just melts.

We all know that he has intense mood swings. However, whenever he’s with you and you’re giving him attention he remains happy and content. You’re the one he goes to whenever something upsets him, and sometimes you even come to him because you both have an emotional connection with each other.

Lilia Vanrouge

You both make a very playful couple. He immediately warms up to you as you do to him. You remind him of royalty: elegant and graceful, friendly and charming. Even Sebek is happy that the two of you found each other.

He loves trying to scare you because it never works. Instead, you put your hands on the side of his face and pull him in for a kiss. Since you do this every time, he makes it a point to try and ‘scare’ you at least twice a day.

He is mostly amused when you bring out your more seductive side. He smiles as you sit yourself on the arm of his chair and run your finger up his neck and move your face closer to his while whispering how much you absolutely love him. He leans even closer, whispering back. Your lips never meet, but it’s enough to make everyone else jealous.

He loves the concept of being a ‘plant parent’, so he will co-parent with you. You have a lovely bed of Nightshade, some Venus Flytraps, Hemlock, and a couple of Ghost Orchids. The orchids are especially valued as they are as odd as the both of you.

You both tend to be very positive. You even have the same macabre interests that you bring up. A lot of the others see you dancing together out of nowhere. No music, just enjoying the time spent in each other’s arms.

Malleus Draconia

The fact that you 1) aren’t scared of him and 2) are actually quite like him makes him fall so freaking hard for you. The chemistry between the two of you is unfathomable. You can just look into his eyes and he’d look back just lovestruck.

He loves to see you waiting for him to get Ramshackle for your nightly walks. He thinks you look absolutely divine underneath the moon’s pale glow. The things you say are very interesting as well. You have plenty of stories to share about your time with your family, and he has all the time in the world to listen.

Bringing out your seductive side can do one of three things: confuse him, amuse him, or make him flustered, sometimes all 3. If you use human ways of seduction, he will be confused. Thankfully, you had read up on dragon courting rituals. You would wear the emerald that is the heart of his horde as a necklace and would remain close to him at all times. Others would often see you with your arm in his.

He’s glad that you were able to find a hobby that wasn’t destructive. He’s surprised to see that Ramshackle was turned into a sort of greenhouse in itself. He’s also noticed that the plants at the normal greenhouse were thriving more than ever.

His view on the half-empty-half-full cup changes depending on what happens that day. However, when he’s with you, he can only see the half-full cup. You turn him into a puppy and he longs for you whenever you have to be away. The absolute look of adoration in your eyes puts anything to shame. The way you hold his face in your hands and he holds your waist as you both go in for a soft kiss brings a warm feeling to both of your cold hearts.

CHASING AWAY A BOYFRIEND. — j. leech.

i. SYNOPSIS. You introduced your boyfriend to your older brother, and as a result he ran for the hills. What, why are you looking at Jade like that for? No, it's nothing to do with him. It's your boyfriend's fault for being such a coward.

ii. PREMISE. jade leech x sibling!reader.

It was extremely obvious from the very moment that you walked in with said new boyfriend, that Jade was planning on being as relentlessly ruthless as he has been every time before. Despite Floyd being unable to attend the meeting until later on, and the ever-so-polite smile on his face, he very clearly had zero intentions of being welcoming to this new tide coming in.

As he held the lounge door open for you both, the most you could do was sigh once you made direct eye contact with him, noting the way his eyes momentarily flashed with a sinister glint. You could tell from the second-long observation alone that he was clearly going to enjoy the torment of this afternoon. He carefully consulted his work hours with Azul around this meeting, what else could scream that he's looking forward to this more than that?

You had warned your boyfriend in advance of the very.. specific and strange criteria of the ideal man that your brothers attempt to enforce, and how they can be extremely aggressive in their way of figuring out whether one fits it. But alas, being aware of this fact, and attending NRC so therefore being familiar with the danger that the twins pose, he insisted that he wished to meet them anyway. So really, with that stubbornness, there isn't very much more you could do to protect him from them. Or in this case, just Jade, who is definitely going to be twice as difficult to make up for Floyd's absence.

"It has been quite the long time since they've introduced a significant other to the family," The Octavinelle housewarden mused as he gently lowered a tray onto the table. Before perching himself down opposite, he was sure to hospitably pour a drink for you both. You kept a sharp watch on every little movement that he made, and it was thanks to that, did you notice the two teapots. Why two?

Your eyes narrowed as you watched him, every move looking so professional and calculated. Paired with the butler-like, welcoming smile which never left his features for even an instant, one would almost believe that he was genuine.

"So I must admit that I have been eagerly anticipating this meeting ever since it was first planned," It was then did you notice it. After setting your own expensive-looking china teacup down before you, the liquid an almost transparent vermillion which emitted steam with a fragrance that smelled positively intoxicating, he had laid the teapot back down and discarded it. Reaching for the other and proceeding to pour the second drink as if there were nothing to worry about. Placing it before the boy sat beside you, he sat down himself. Folding his hands together politely over the table as he smiled. "Though it's a shame that Floyd cannot be here to witness it, I'm sure this interaction is going to make my week."

As the boy beside you began to somewhat sheepishly respond to your brother's words, your gaze stayed on the two steaming cups presented neatly on the table between you. The two looked identical, from the color to the steam. Yet you know better than to merely shrug such a thing off, especially from Jade. So you raised your head, glancing around quickly for a momentary distraction.

"Well I don't come from anywhere as interesting as the sea, but—"

Leaning forwards comfortably and side-eying the next table, you sneakily twirled your finger before placing your attention back on Jade, who looked to be earnestly listening to what the boy had to say about himself. All his achievements in his two years in the Scarabia dorm, his family, his... financial situation? He seemed to be putting everything out and into the open.

Though attention was diverted when a large pop could be heard from somewhere close. The next table was where. Out of the blue, totally not the work of anybody's magic, and to the future stress of no particular octopus, somebody's drink had exploded. The pressure of the fizzy liquid being too much for the bottle to contain, and the cap shooting up quickly as drink began to spill. It had gained the startled look of the boy beside you long enough to swap the two teacups.

You were sure to shoot Jade the meanest glare, to which he merely shrugged his shoulders with that same closed-eye smile. As if to say: 'it was worth a shot', perhaps.

The situation with the neighboring table was calmed relatively quickly, and the conversation about how kind the Scarabia housewarden is continued. You listened in, reaching out for the tea which was likely dosed with something Jade found on the nearest mountain, and bringing it up to your nose to sniff. Upon noticing you do so and being reminded that it was there, your boyfriend did the same while continuing to chatter. You noted the nice smell, a sweet smell, a much more enticing aroma than the one which was yours before.

Daring to bring it to your lips, you took a cautionary sip. Eyes widening once you comprehended what your tastebuds had just graced. This... is just regular sweet tea? How could this be?

Peering up at Jade, you found the eel sitting there looking extremely smug. His eyes had darkened dangerously, teeth akin to knives on full display as he made eye contact with you. It was this expression which made you realize that you had lost, your moves were predicted long before the game was even in play. You lost, and everything you had bet now belongs to Jade.

"How do you like the tea?" His eyes shifted to your boyfriend, who was holding in a violent choke in an attempt to be polite. The expression that Jade was wearing, it scared him a lot. All sense of hospitality being dragged away by the current. "It's a special blend in the Leech family, you see. A particular favorite of my dear sibling here."

There was a long silence, before the boy suddenly stood from his seat. You stared at Jade in shock. "P-Please excuse me! I n-need the bathroom, I will be right back!"

"I can never have nice things..." You sighed, putting down the cup and leaning your cheek into your palm. They never do come right back, they only say that to be polite. Not to mention that if they were to, there would only be yet another method of deterrence a hundred times worse. "I never can, thanks to you two."

"Ehh you have us?" Practically on cue, a pair of arms wrapped around your upper body from behind, a familiar heavy weight leaning over your back. It was Floyd. "Right, Jade?!"

"Indeed you do," The other Leech twin replied, visibly proud of himself. "You have us both, do you not?"

"Wait, did I already miss it? Awww, I wanted to be the one to chase the sucker awayy..."

Betrayed by a Friend

Warnings: Very vague mentions of violence. (It’s Floyd what do you expect)

Word count: 1,060

Azul knows how it feels to be betrayed by a friend

He knows it very well

So when his significant other comes into his office at Mostro Lounge and stumbles into his arms

Azul is deeply concerned for them

It’s very rare for Azul to see anyone crying as hard as you were in this moment

But as the ever benevolent young man he is Azul is more than happy to just let you sob in his arms for however long you need

He’d rub your back gently and press soft kisses to your head

Once Azul was confident you were breathing consistently and tears were quietly rolling down your cheeks

Instead of the rasping and irregular breaths you were taking while sobbing your poor heart out

Azul would gently ask what happened

Hands cupping your cheeks, wiping your tears away with his thumbs

His forehead pressed to yours

When you do manage to convey to him that you got betrayed by someone you considered a friend

Azul is immediately plotting a murder

Logically he knows he can’t actually kill somebody because they made his significant other cry

But emotionally? Azul wants nothing more than to have to call in that favour the Leech twin’s father owes him

Instead of voicing those desires, Azul settles for continuing to hold you to his chest

Telling you that it’s okay if you need to cry more, that he’s here for you. No matter how long it takes for you to start feeling better.

Somehow manages to get you a glass of water without even moving from his spot beside you

It even has a cute little bendy straw that looks like a heart! (It’s his favourite gag gift the leech twins ever gave him, but don’t tell either of the tweels)

Jade had been trying to subtly warn you about the person you called a friend

He has ears in the walls all across campus so Jade had a suspicion about what was upcoming

Perhaps Jade had cast a spell to ease your nerves with the soft pitter patters of rain pelted against the window of the Leech’s dorm. You rested the large and quite heavy terrarium against your chest, obstructing a teal headed student from your view. “Jade… Please… M’Sorry…” You cried out, sniffling and whimpering as you felt the tip of his tongue twirl over your clit. His razor-like teeth playfully scratching over the swollen folds of your pussy as he let out a bubbly laugh. Riddle finds it fun. He’ll never admit it, though.

He’ll chide you, telling you not to leave your things lying around like that. You’ll have to explain to him that those little trinkets were meant for him. You come up with new ones every time.

A crimson red rose, tucked into the broom closet. A pen holder, elaborate gold thorns craved into it. A leather bounded journal, tucked under some shelves. You’ll never notice it, unless you were cleaning that exact spot.

At first, Riddle sees it as a test. You hide these little things to see if he’s actually doing his work. Do you really doubt him so? It wounds him. He goes around his work with a renewed vigour, collecting your presents like they’re badges of honour.

After some time, he finds himself looking forward to those little gifts. Sometimes, you find the time to leave little notes on them. Perhaps asking about his day, or a cheesy joke, hastily scribbled out on the paper. Those never fail to bring a smile to his face.

The image of you tucking these gifts out of sight, chuckling to yourself… it’s adorable.

Rest assured, Riddle treasures each and every one of your gifts. He’ll return the favour.

Ace doesn’t register that they’re gifts at first. His thought process is quite literally: “Free stuff? Cool.”

It’s not until you start leaving little notes along with those trinkets then he realises those were gifts. Why, too bashful to hand it to him? Don’t be shy now, Master. He knows he’s the best butler you could ever have~

Your gifts to him include;

A deck case, elaborate designs of red hearts curling throughout the case. It clasps shut with a golden clasp, a delicate little thing.

Little pretty hair clips. You’ve noticed his fondness of tying his hair into a little bunch on top of his head. It looks ridiculous, red hair spilling from the hair tie. Almost like a volcano erupting. It was rather fun to play with, batting at that lump of hair like a cat’s toy. The hair clips were to spare him from your wandering hands.

A ring, the image of a rose stamped into it. Ace wears that on a chain, tucked into his shirt. Sometimes, he’ll pull it out, smirking away. It glints from within his chest, shining brightly. Now, you do understand the implications of a ring, don’t you? Rather cheeky of you, keeping him all to yourself, Master.

Ace’s honestly in awe of your generosity. A strange master, aren’t you? Leaving countless gifts around for him to snatch up.

He’ll repay you one day. Well, until that day comes… keep him around, yeah?
