❤️ The Heart of Broadway💃
A few weeks ago, I had the absolute privilege of embarking on a journey through the enchanting world of Broadway. From captivating performances of Back To The Future, Hadestown, and Kimberly Akimbo, to inspiring experiences at the talkback for Hadestown and partaking in a rehearsal for Kimberly Akimbo, to poignant reflections at the Museum of Broadway.
🥀 Hadestown, with its intricate layers of storytelling, resonated with me deeply. It's the kind of art that unveils new truths with every viewing, leaving me (a little teary and) in awe of its profound portrayal of love's complexities and tragedies. To get a glimpse into the actors' profound life journeys and dedicated love for their craft at the post-show talkback session only further solidified my commitment to pursue my own creative passions.
📿Kimberly Akimbo struck a chord in my heart, shedding light on the often overlooked experiences of those of us with disabilities in this pretty nuanced way. I cried the entirety of the second act, and was thoroughly reminded of the urgent need for greater representation and advocacy. This whole trip along with this show has really ignited the call within me toward advocacy with determination to dismantle barriers of misunderstanding (because honestly the vast majority of people really just don’t get it). I honestly will never forget this show or the experiences on this trip...
🚗 While Back To The Future dazzled with its technical prowess and nostalgic charm, my heart is really with narratives rich in depth and substance. Nevertheless, the trip was honestly beyond anything I could have imagined and eye opening in a lot of ways. I am immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of theater, to share these memories and moments with my brother, and to have been able to speak up for those of us with disabilities throughout this trip. ✨

Say it louder for those in the back!
Been explaining this one a lot lately
"But why do you let your disability stop you?" Because that's.... what disabilities... do. That's... literally the basic definition... of being disabled... A disability impairs your ability to function. That's what the term means. That's the main thing

Greetings, I'm Maxwell (she/he/they) and I'm eager to share some aspects of my life with you as part of the Queer In Every Sense podcast 🏳️‍🌈
My journey to embracing my authentic identity has been a rollercoaster ride that's led me to a place of self-discovery and acceptance. I embrace a complex and beautiful identity. I'm Queer, Pansexual, and Genderfluid, which means my experience of love and gender is wonderfully diverse. My pronouns are She/He/They, and I'm comfortable with all of them. I respond to any pronoun because, for me, each is a valid and equal part of my identity. 🏳️‍⚧️
Additionally, I'm Neurodivergent, celebrating the unique way my mind works. I also proudly identify as Latina/x and Jewish. These cultural identifiers are equally important parts of my identity, and they enrich my perspective and experiences. 💪🏽
My journey towards self-acceptance began at a young age. I came in and out of the closet since I was 11, but when I was truly ready to be universally out in my early 20s, I decided not to make a big announcement. Instead, I chose to be authentic by living my truth through my words and actions daily. I believe that coming out is a personal choice, and everyone should have the autonomy to decide how, when, and to whom they want to come out. ✨️
I'm deeply committed to advocacy, particularly in LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity awareness. One of my most enthusiastic passions is engaging in conversations about sex. I believe it's essential to have a safe and inclusive platform where we can openly explore, share, and learn about sex within the context of queer experiences. Sexuality is a beautiful and diverse aspect of our lives and discussing it in an open and non-judgmental way can help foster understanding, promote consent, and create healthier relationships. 🔥
By sharing my stories and experiences, I hope to support and inspire others on their journeys. My aim is to demonstrate that it's possible to overcome challenges and find one's path to authenticity.💎

💀 New Life After Death 👻
🏛️ I’ve loved the natural world for as long as I can remember. And while it is sad to work with dead animals, each specimen gets to live on, becoming immortal through the museum.
🦉 The goal of preservation is to make something that can withstand the test of time. When we open the drawers full of birds, there are specimens from the 1920s that are the prettiest bird in the bunch. So these hundred-year-old specimens live on to show us a snapshot of their world. It’s a little like time traveling. From the data associated with it, we can know where an animal was living, what it was eating, how old it was, how it died and often much more. These creatures, once thought to be gone forever, are reborn in our understanding, offering glimpses into the past that inform our present.
🧬 These specimens get to live on and answer questions we humans don’t even know to ask yet. Natural history museums have been collecting objects and specimens since the 17th century. In the 1950’s, the people collecting small mammals in the Philippines had no idea that in 50 years their specimens could be used in DNA studies. This is a testament to the afterlife of these animals in the world of science. They continue to play a role, even in a new era. As our understanding and technology evolves, these preserved beings will be resurrected once again, offering fresh insights and knowledge to future generations.
👩‍🔬 Collection workers like me are stewards of these specimens, making sure they can tell their stories for as long as possible. In a way, we are the guardians of this cycle of life, death, and rebirth in the realm of natural history. These creatures find a form of immortality, transcending death by becoming timeless messengers of the natural world. Their stories continue to unfold, and their contributions to our understanding of life on Earth are bound to endure, even as we peer into the mysteries of existence, both in this world and, perhaps, the next.

Hi, I'm Abbey (she/her) and I'm so excited to be a part of the amazing Queer In Every Sense team 🏳️‍🌈
As with many, my journey has had many twists and turns, ups and downs, but along the way I've met some amazing people and for that, I'm grateful. I refuse to live life by 'The book' and instead aim to have a multitude of chapters instead of one long story. ✨️
Currently, I'm living in Buffalo NY with my partner, Luke, and our cat, Special Agent Dana Scully. I am so excited to be working at a Natural History Museum as a zoology collections assistant but also have a background in informal education, so I may return to that field after this chapter closes. 📖
I have an encyclopedia of diverse fun facts in my head since I love learning and sharing that knowledge with others, which I am looking forward to continuing as part of the Queer In Every Sense podcast (Coming Soon). Additionally, I love to write and can't wait to share some of my original works with you all. ✒️
Thank you for being here and I am looking forward to going on this journey with all of you! Please follow us, go take a look at our website queerineverysense.com, and feel free to contact us at [email protected] or DM us if you are interested in contributing or want to sign up for our services.

🗡️🛡️ Take off that Armor, Open up to your deepest feelings with us ❤️✨
📜 Message from Kaley: “Poetry has played a significant role in my journey toward authenticity. For me, poetry offers a sanctuary to explore and give words to my deepest feelings. I wrote Armor at a time in my life where I was just starting to question what I really wanted for myself. Growing up and in our young adult years, we are still really learning to stand on our own in a world full of outside influences and big feelings that we are never really taught how to navigate. Add in some difficult life experiences and some controlling people and it is a recipe for having a hard time determining what you feel, what you want, and how you want to respond. I have made a lot of progress since writing this poem but it seemed fitting to make Armor the inaugural poem for Queer In Every Sense.” ✒️
📢 Visit our website (link in bio) for more poetry and thought-provoking content. Are you a poet or writer eager to share your own unique perspectives? We invite you to become part of our vibrant community. Email us at [email protected], and let's create together. 💌🌟
🙏Take a moment to think about the first time you did something just for yourself even though it scared you, went against what others wanted, or required effort to change directions. What helped you take that step? If you are open, share with us in the comments! 💬 If this resonated with you, like, share, and save to spread the love and help us grow! ❤️

Hey there! I'm Kaley Regner (xey/xem/xeir), and I'm stoked to be the founder and CEO of Queer In Every Sense.
My journey of authenticity kicked off in 2014 when I came out for the first time. Since then, it's been a wild ride of self-discovery, full of twists and turns that has led me to fully embrace my true identity. Today, I stand proud as a queer, demisexual, trans, gendervoid person. But that's not all! I'm also a relationship anarchist, and I embrace my neurodivergence. Additionally, I navigate life with mental illness and a physical disability.
On top of all that, I wear many hats and have a bunch of passions! I'm an entrepreneur and activist, driven to make a difference in the world. I'm a nature lover who finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. When I'm not busy building Queer In Every Sense, you'll probably find me exploring new places as an avid traveler, or maybe even practicing some data science wizardry.
But hey, there's more to me than just labels. I'm a family member, a loyal friend, and a proud dog parent. My empathic nature makes me a compassionate and non-judgemental listener, and if you're looking for some positive vibes or a bit of magic, I'm just a little bit witchy too.
At the core of all these facets of my life is an unwavering commitment to living openly, honestly, and authentically. My hope in all things is to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone I encounter, encouraging them to embrace their true selves as well.
I can't wait to share my story with you—past, present, and future. We'll start with some written content on the website, and I'm also working on bringing you a podcast and video-based goodies soon. And who knows? Maybe we'll expand into art and print-based merch down the road!
If any of my content resonates with you, I'm available as a life coach. Additionally, I offer Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion consulting for businesses aiming to be more inclusive and welcoming to folks like me.
Together, let's create a community where authenticity thrives, and where we celebrate the beauty of diversity. I'm truly excited about the journey ahead, and I'm grateful for all of you joining me on this adventure.
