It's Magic
This snippet is for @creweemmaeec11!
-------
Villain pressed the knife deeper into Hero's side, the blade glowing with harmful magic.
"Pathetic little thing," Villain laughed, yanking the blade out.
Hero gasped, lurching forward. They crashed down in the alleyway.
"Lesser beings like you should learn to stay out of my way," Villain said, "maybe your corpse will serve as an example."
Villain cast a spell, causing little cuts to open all over Hero's body. Hero whimpered in pain. They looked up with blurry vision as Villain strode away. Was this really how it was going to end? Killed by a magic user? Hero didn't have the energy to worry about it; they started to drift off, their head light and their limbs heavy.
----
Hero stirred to the feeling of a gentle rocking sensation.
"Mm..." they mumbled.
"Shhh," a voice soothed.
The rocking sensation stopped suddenly as Hero was laid down on a soft surface. They forced their eyes to open. They tried to sit up, but a hand gently pushed them back down.
"Don't-" the voice said softly, "don't get up. You're hurt."
Hero stared up at their rescuer. Their vision cleared, and their face went pale. Hero scuttled back on the couch.
"S-Supervillain," Hero breathed.
Hero's breaths quickened, coming out in short little gasps. Their heart felt like it was going to beat out of their chest. Supervillain held their hands up in a placating gesture.
"I'm not gonna hurt you," they said, "I promise."
Supervillain took a step closer, and Hero flinched hard, screwing their eyes shut. Instead of a harsh strike or a dark spell, Hero felt the gentle pressure of a hand on their forehead. They cracked an eye open and looked at Supervillain.
"No fever, that's good," Supervillain said.
Soft green light emanated from Supervillain's hands. Hero's breathing became deep of its own accord. Hero blinked in confusion.
"Wh-what are you doing?" Hero asked.
"It's a calming spell," Supervillain explained, "I don't want you to panic."
Supervillain gestured to Hero's shirt.
"May I?" they asked.
Hero felt themselves nodding, a forced calm settling over them. Supervillain thanked them and lifted their shirt.
"It seems to be healing well," Supervillain said, "my magic made short work of your cuts, but this stab wound was pretty bad."
"Magic?"
"Yes, my healing magic. You're lucky to be alive, if I hadn't found you... well, it doesn't matter now."
Normally the mention of magic would have Hero hyperventilating, but the calming spell was weaving its way through their mind and body, keeping them pacified.
"Let me work on your wound some more, you don't deserve a scar."
Magenta light flowed from Supervillain's hands into Hero's healing wound. The area began to feel warm and fuzzy. Hero watched as the wound faded away completely, leaving nothing but smooth, undamaged skin.
"Can I get you anything?" Supervillain asked.
"I, um..."
"How about something to eat and drink?" Supervillain offered.
Hero quickly shook their head. What if they poisoned it? Then again, Supervillain probably wouldn't go through the trouble to save them just to poison them... on the other hand, though, this was Supervillain they were talking about, and-
A floating tray of food interrupted Hero's thoughts. On the tray was a bowl of chili and a cup of water. Supervillain ushered the tray over with a finger. It settled a few inches over Hero.
"It's, uh, it's waiting for you to sit up," Supervillain said.
Hero sat up cautiously. The tray, satisfied, landed gently on Hero's lap. The spoon flew into Hero's hand. Hero yelped in surprise.
"Yes, that particular spoon is rather forward," Supervillain said apologetically, "you'll get used to it."
Hero gulped. What would happen if they didn't eat? Would Supervillain kill them in a harsher way? The spoon, growing impatient, zipped out of Hero's hand, filled itself with a helping of chili, and forced its way into their mouth.
"Mm!"
Flavors danced on Hero's tongue; the chili was absolutely delicious. The spoon left Hero's mouth and grabbed another helping of chili. It waited for Hero to swallow.
"I wouldn't poison you, if that's what you're worried about," Supervillain said, "I went through a bit of trouble to save you."
Hero swallowed hesitantly. The spoon eagerly shoved the next bite of chili into their mouth. Hero grabbed the spoon and started to feed themselves. Supervillain smiled.
"Why... why did you save me?" Hero asked.
Supervillain's smile faltered, replaced with a concerned expression.
"I couldn't just leave you there," Supervillain said.
"Yes you could've! You're Supervillain! You're the most powerful mage in the city, and I'm..."
"Yes?" Supervillain prompted.
"I fight mages! I'm your enemy!" Hero blurted.
Supervillain sighed. They waved a hand and an armchair tottered forward. Supervillain sat down, snapping their fingers. A cup of tea materialized out of thin air. Supervillain took a sip of it, then set it on the saucer, which was still floating nearby.
"Why do you fight mages?" Supervillain asked, as though Hero had come in for a therapy session.
"Because they use magic! And magic is- well, it's evil isn't it?"
"Look around you," Supervillain gestured to the room, "I've been using magic nonstop since I brought you here. Have I been using it for evil?"
Hero didn't respond.
"I've done nothing but heal you and tend to you with my powers," Supervillain continued, "what I want is for magic users and non-magic users to get along and enjoy each other's gifts. Of course, not everyone shares my sentiment, such as the mage who attacked you."
Hero shook their head, trying to rationalize Supervillain's words. Supervillain sighed again and stood. The tray floated away with the empty chili bowl. The spoon followed it back to the kitchen.
"You should get some rest," Supervillain said, summoning a blanket, which draped itself over Hero, "let me know if you need anything."
Supervillain began to leave.
"Wait!" Hero said weakly.
Supervillain turned.
"Yes?"
"Thank you, Supervillain," Hero said quietly.
Supervillain cracked a small smile.
"You're welcome..."
"Hero," Hero said, "my name is Hero."
"You're welcome, Hero."
Supervillain flicked their wrist, and the lights went out. They left the room to let Hero sleep. Hero snuggled under the blanket and closed their eyes. They were still very confused about many things, but maybe magic wasn't as evil as they had thought.

Howdy I really like your works so may I request a single mother villain with a child that's around 6 or 7 and the child thinks Hero is the coolest and doesn't know their mother is a villain and so like one day there is a crime going on and the child goes to the crime scene in attempt to stop the evildoer (The crime that's happening is up to you) in their own hero costume they made and soon Hero shows up and things sorta escalate from there.
You can change it in any way if it doesn't make sense to you and sorry if I didn't explain it well enough. And also I think your works are the coolest 😍
Villain always tried to keep her kid happy.
It was the least that she could do, given how little she was able to offer them.
When Child developed an adoration for Hero, she didn’t say anything to deter them from it. If anything, she was a little glad that her kid was going the opposite way from her. Of course, it stung a little having her own child praise her enemy, but Child wanted to be a hero…and almost Villain wanted them to be a hero, too.
At the very least she’d be proud if they did end up a hero. Though she couldn’t say she’d be thrilled either.
To keep them happy, Villain also kept her job a secret.
She left late at night when Child was asleep and was always back by morning when they woke up.
It all worked smoothly, and Villain didn’t expect a clog in the gears of her finely tuned engine—not when she’d masterminded every agonizing detail of it. Not when she did everything she could to keep her secret life away from staining Child.
But nothing went according to plan when you had kids.
“I’ll stop you, evildoer!” Child said boldly.
Exhaling, she looked at her own kid in the costume that she helped them make, and she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
She effortlessly blocked Child’s ‘attack,’ still holding her victim tight, trying to decide what to do. “You need to go home. It’s dangerous out here.”
“That’s why I’m stopping you.” Child insisted, squirming in her grip.
Villain was about to open her mouth to reply, but another person joined the steadily crowding alleyway. “I’ll stop you, evildoer!”
Hero.
Gritting her teeth, Villain turned to see the loathsome fly in her ear smiling like a beacon, looking at the scene with barely concealed amusement. “Finally decided to pick on someone your own size?”
“Go shove a boot up your—” Villain broke off suddenly, her sneer fading as she realized her kid was listening. And watching. Avidly. Eyes and ears wide open.
But yet Child mysteriously never heard Villain whenever she told them to finish their homework before dessert.
Hero’s eyebrows raised slyly, and Villain clenched her jaw tighter.
She couldn’t let Hero find out the kid was her’s. If she did, then Child would be taken away. Villain couldn’t let that happen—not her kid, not her happy and stupidly oblivious kid who hadn’t yet been marred by the pain in the world.
Swiftly, she wrapped her arm around Child’s throat and dropped her original victim, deciding his wallet wasn’t worth the trouble.
“Don’t get closer.” She warned, inching her arm the slightest fraction tighter.
“Villain,” Hero held her arms up placatingly. “Let’s not drag a child into this, hmm? If you want to fight, then it can be just us two. Don’t spread this to anyone else.”
I’ve tried, Villain thought bitterly.
“I don’t feel like a fight today.” The other swallowed heavily, her eyes flicking to the escape. “Be a good hero and stop trying to negotiate, okay?”
“I’ll stop you!” Child kicked, struggle to worm out of their mother’s grasp.
“Run away.” Villain whispered into Child’s ear. “Run away now or I’ll find your mommy and hurt her. Understood?”
Finally, Villain did let go. She watched her kid run off, but she knew she couldn’t chase after—not without arousing too much suspicion. She had to do what was necessary to keep her family safe. She didn’t have much of it left, and she’d burn down half the world to keep Child safe. And though there was a wave of nausea in her stomach and a burn in her eyes at threatening Child, it was necessary.
Villain yelped when she turned around to see Hero towering over her.
“You weren’t actually going to hurt the kid.” Hero said confidently, a smug smile written across her face.
“They’re a kid.” Villain spat in retort. “I’m not that evil.” Before she could even think to move, Hero grabbed her by the wrist. “You—“
“That’s your kid.”
“I don’t have a child.” Villain lied. Her throat began to close up. Hero couldn’t know.
Hero’s smile grew wider, and somehow, smugger. “It’s adorable that they’re a fan of me.”
Villain looked at the ground.
“I’m not gonna tell anyone, if that’s what you’re worried about.” Hero continued.
“You’re not?” Villain questioned. “What’s the catch?”
“The catch is that you’re quitting villainy.”
“But—“
Hero put a gloved finger to Villain’s lips. “That part is non-negotiable, sweetie. There’s an opening position at my work—just a little secretary job—but it pays better than this. It’s stable, at the very least.”
Villain grabbed Hero’s wrist, her nails digging crescents into the other’s skin.
The offer wasn’t a bad one. It wasn’t bad at all.
“Why are you doing this?”
“You think I wouldn’t love to see you all the time?” Hero smirked. “I’ll pick you up tomorrow.”
“You mean you’ll be kidnapping me.”

Very much inspired by this !!
Phantasm crashed into the side of a building, the rest of his team- the TeenTitans- stayed back. They were otherwise occupied, with the rest of the H.I.V.E. five attacking them.
They'd gotten a new member, one with a similar, nearly identical power set of their own new member.
Phantom.
Phantasm and Phantom, two mirror look alikes, they went absolutely feral whenever one was in sight. It was driving Robin mad, Beast Boy had joked about cloning but after they started to actually consider that option.
"Well, well, well." Phantom mocks, glowing green to Phantasm's red.
"Shut. The fuck. Up." Phantasm charges again, throwing the other into windows with a growl.
They kept bickering, hitting and injuring each other, until—
"Stop being so annoying!" Phantasm shouts, baring his fangs. Phantom, in return, stuck his tongue out.
"You're just jealous I got the Villain role!!"
At this point, their respective teams had called a draw and watched them fighting.
"You're a lousy villain!"
"I'm having the time of my life beating the shit out of you actually."
"I'm calling jazz."
At that, Phantom starts glaring. "I thought we agreed on not bringing this up to our sister?"

It's shenanigans time guys
So have this DpxDc idea.
So, the Justice League and the Light (OR villains in general) have two newish members, they've both been around for about a year and they're from the same plane of existence (a place called the Infinite Realms according to those who dabble in the occult)
And the two seem to have some serious beef with each other.
Wisp and Wrath are basicly feral cats hissing and hekles raised when they spot the other and their fights normally ends in draws. They're evenly matched and sometimes the two even fight to the point they are out of steam and just fist fight.
Needless to say everyone believes they totally hate each other and might one day kill (or end?) One of them.
So everything gets turned upside down when suddenly both factions of heros and villains are suddenly summoned to the Infinite Realms.
In a throne room.
In front of the Infinite King (or most commonly known as the Ghost King)
A King who looks very, very much like Wisp and Wrath (like yeah the two do sometimes look alike, like when they grin with sharp teeth and their hair color, but one has blue skin and red eyes for crying out loud!)
He's staring at them, glowing green eyes that seemed to just... know.
"Welcome to the Infinite Realms. I am King Phantom." His voice echoing in the throne room and seemed to rattle them deeply, like a sudden chill in the early morning.
"I have summoned you all here for a single reason." He continued to say "Tell me..."
Here he paused, closed his eyes before leaning back on the chair then he smiled big and cheerfully asked.
"How are my kids doing in your world? Dan and Ellie arent causing too much chaos in their wake are they? They tend to go a tiny bit overboard sometimes but what siblings don't when they rough house you know. Tell me everything."

Imagine a villain straight refusing to fight another member of the Hero Team just cuz his hero archnemesis is not present
"Where are they?"
"Oh, not again." The protagonist could feel a headache coming on. "Look-"
"-Are they hurt?" The villain's eyes went dark and dangerous. "Who hurt them?"
"They're fine! Oh my god."
"Then where are they?"
The protagonist definitely had a headache. "It's their day off."
"They didn't tell me they had the day off. What's wrong?"
The really concerning part was that the hero probably would tell the villain which days they were working and which they weren't. The two of them were as bad as each other! The hero was going to be unbearable when they came back and found out that the team had fought the villain without them.
"Can we just get this over with?" the protagonist tried.
"No."
The protagonist sighed. They pinched the bridge of their nose and took a few deep breaths. "Okay," they said slowly. "But you realise I'm still going to have confiscate your nightmare robot."
"It's not for you. And don't think I didn't notice you dodging the question!"
The protagonist considered their options; lies, truth, everything in between.
The villain's nightmare robot hunkered down a little more pointedly in the middle of the bridge. Several people honked their horns. It was, honestly, embarrassing for everyone involved at that point.
"Their grandma died."
"Oh no." The villain's whole face softened. "Grandma L or Grandma P?"
Of course he knew the hero's grandparents. Of course he did. "Look, about the robot-"
"-I'll reschedule," the villain said.
"I can't let you keep the robot. My boss would have my head."
"That sounds like a 'you' problem. I have flowers to send."
The protagonist's eye twitched. "If you try and walk away with it-"
"-Do you really want to traumatize this entire bridge of innocent civilians?"
"I'm sure they're traumatized having to listen to you two idiots on a weekly basis."
"I'm taking the robot. When are they back?"
"They haven't said," the protagonist said, through gritted teeth. "As you know-"
"-They'll be doing all the funeral arrangements. Yeah. You know what, give me their number. I'll text them."
"I'm not giving you their number."
"Why not?"
"It's against policy."
"I'd like to express my condolences."
The protagonist looked them dead in the face. "Mm. That sounds like a 'you' problem. I have a robot to confiscate."
The robot slammed a fist into the bridge. It wobbled precariously.
The protagonist raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. They folded their arms across their chest.
"You're a real piece of work, you know that?" the villain snarled.
"I hate you too, don't worry."
"I should kill you."
"They'd have so much paperwork when they got back from the funeral. It would really improve their month, you killing me."
They ended up glaring at each other.
"If I give you the bloody stupid robot, will you give me their number?"
The protagonist smiled sweetly. "That's the only smart thing I've ever heard you say."
Everyone, generally, preferred it when the hero was around.
They all made sure it didn't happen again.

Prompt #269
Hero:
Your profile says you like stargazing. Would you wanna fly around some time? I can get us an extra good view 😉
Villain:
This is Villain.
Hero:
Dang it!! Stop being on every powered people dating app I use!
Villain:
I think the real question is how you keep matching with me on every dating app you use.
Hero:
I’m not doing it on purpose!!! I’m just not used to seeing you in civilian clothes and keep getting confused!!
And you have to match with me too you know! So I could say the same about you!! Why are you swiping up when you know it’s me?!
Villain:
Honestly? Because it’s hilarious 😆🫰
Hero:
I’m blocking you. AGAIN.
Villain:
Awww, but that stargazing date sounded fun.

Why is asking permission for certain things, both romantic and platonic, one of the cutest, most heart-fluttering things ever?
"Can I hold your hand?"
"Can I kiss you?"
"Would you like me to carry your jacket?"
"Can I hug you?"
"Would it be alright if we cuddled?"
"Can I play with your hair?"
"Might I walk you home?"
"Can I tickle you?
"Is it okay if I kiss you goodbye?"
"Can I hold onto your arm while we walk?"
"Can I rest my head on your shoulder?"
"Is it okay if I call you (nickname)?"
"I'd really like to kiss you right now, if that's okay with you,"
"Would you let me take care of you?"

Insults (Fantasy Edition)
They're as useful as a wet blanket in the middle of winter
I could talk to my horse and have a better conversation
She did love her family, but she'd rather have an ocean between her and them.
He was the kind of man to stumble across rational thought quite by accident and dismiss it as absurd
'Quite frankly, I'd rather eat Hemlock.'
I know the gods do not exist, because if they did, they would've struck you down by now.
Well, you're clearly got some troll ancestry.
That's probably the wisest thing you've ever said and yet still you are wrong.
Do you just sit there all day and hope some sort of sentient through floats in your direction
She was tolerable. From a distance.
They were often wrong but never in doubt.

a villain that can hypnotise people through touch
The hero feels themselves tripping over their own two feet as the imposing figure advances on them, until their back hits the wall with a solid thud. They attempt to keep their breathing under control, but it’s a difficult game.
“Where are you going?” The villain asks simply, as if they don’t already know the answer to the question. The hero grits their teeth, baring them viciously.
“Stay back,” they hiss. “I mean it.”
“Or else what?” The villain chuckles humourlessly, their cold eyes not leaving theirs for even a moment. “You know you can’t win this fight.”
“No,” they shakily whisper, their eyes desperately searching for a way to escape. They are not ignorant to the power that the villain possesses. The power that had kept them trapped in their clutches for far too long. “Give me a ten foot pole and I’ll find a way to keep you away from me.”
The villain raises a brow. “You don’t have one of those, doll.”
“Yeah?” They spit. “Wanna bet?”
The villain takes a measured step forward, and the hero’s narrowed eyes suddenly widen, pressing themselves closer against the wall until they’re impossibly flat.
“No, please,” they breathe, their face wrinkling in fear. “The people need me, Villain. Please, let me go back out there.”
The villain laughs coldly, like that’s funny.
“You should see yourself when you cling to me,” they respond coolly, their eyes flashing with something dangerous. “It’s cute. You make these little doe eyes that drive me crazy.”
“That’s not me,” they choke, their hands pressing into their chest. “These gaps in my memory, not knowing how much time has passed, what you’ve made me do – it’s torture.”
“It’s far from torture, doll,” the villain frowns, taking another step forward. The hero’s heart hammers in their chest, lodging in their lungs and making it difficult to breathe. “You don’t see how much you’re spoiled.”
The hero chokes on a hitched breath. “You get off on this sick power play. You take away people’s free will, make them into—”
“—nothing?” The villain interrupts sharply. Their expression darkens. “You’d never understand what it’s like from my perspective. You’re thinking too hard, yet so little. Why don’t you come here?”
The hero instantly shakes their head. “No. Stay away from me.”
“Then I come to you.”
“Stay away.”
The hero makes a desperate lunge in an attempt to escape, but the villain’s hand seizes their wrist instantly, and they gasp. Tingles reverberate through their skin, and they desperately try to yank away. Their grasp is unrelenting, and with each second that ticks by, the tingles grow stronger, spreading through their body like wildfire.
“Stop,” they gasp, their knees weak when they’re tugged closer. “Please, please stop.”
“Shh,” the villain hums, a warm hand cupping their cheek, making the hero’s throat close up. Their mind goes haywire. But when the villain speaks, when their skin touches theirs, their thoughts begin to die out.
“That’s it, doll,” they purr, brushing a thumb under their eye when a stray tear leaked down their cheek. “Just like that.”
It’s always beautiful when the thoughts leave their eyes, when their weakening struggles die down, and they go slack and pliant in their arms. The villain’s eyes crinkle with a smile, admiring the dazed expression on their face. It takes moments until all the fight is drained out of them.
“There you go,” the villain hums, and their touch makes the hero go all fuzzy and lightheaded. “Let’s go back, shall we?”
The hero obediently follows them along.

Massage
Hero thrashed in their bonds, desperate to get free.
“Come on, Hero,” Villain reasoned, “I haven’t done anything to you yet.”
“You kidnapped me, that’s enough!” Hero snapped, “I don’t plan on sticking around long enough to find out what else you’re going to do to me!”
“I don’t think you have a choice in the matter,” Villain said with a laugh, “now hold still.”
Villain produced a syringe from their pocket. Hero froze in their seat, their eyes widening.
“Get that thing away from me!” Hero yelled, thrashing once again.
Villain ignored them, stepping closer until they and Hero were mere inches apart. They tilted Hero’s neck, despite their struggles, and injected the contents into their system. Hero cried out as the needle was inserted.
“What did you just give me!?” Hero asked, a touch of panic creeping into their voice.
“You’ll find out soon enough,” Villain said with a grin.
Hero continued to try to get free, but their movements were weaker and more sluggish for some reason. After about a minute, Hero could barely move at all.
“Wha-” Hero started.
Villain smirked and started to free Hero from their bindings. Hero slumped forward in their seat, Villain caught them before they could tumble to the ground.
“Muscle relaxer, Hero, and a pretty strong one at that,” Villain explained.
“You son of a- ack!”
Villain swept Hero up into a bridal carry and laid them on a table on their stomach, making sure their head was turned to the side. Villain took Hero’s arms and folded them in front of them, resting their head on top of them.
“Oh, this isn’t degrading at all,” Hero said.
“Relax, Hero, I’m not going to hurt you,” Villain paused, “well, this might hurt, but it’s your own fault if it does.”
Hero felt Villain put their hands on their shoulders. They made slow, circling motions with their thumbs, applying the smallest amount of pressure.
“Gosh, you are tense,” Villain said.
Hero was confused. Was Villain doing what they thought they were doing? Hero didn’t have time to question it, because Villain gradually increased the pressure until Hero couldn’t help but cry out.
“Villain!” Hero said through clenched teeth.
“I told you it was your fault if it hurt,” Villain said, “you shouldn’t have let it get this bad, why do you think I kidnapped you in the first place?”
Villain kneaded Hero’s shoulders, working out all the knots, with the occasional cry of pain from Hero. Eventually, they moved up to their neck, working out the tension there as well. Then Villain continued down to Hero’s back, and that was where a lot of the trouble resided. Villain spent a good twenty minutes massaging Hero’s back, which was both painful and relieving for Hero. When all was said and done, Villain turned Hero on their back so that they were looking up at them.
“Better?” Villain asked.
“Well, considering you gave me a muscle relaxer beforehand…”
Villain gave Hero an incredulous look.
“Yes,” Hero admitted, “it’s much better.”
“That’s what I like to hear,” Villain said.
Villain picked Hero up again and carried them up the stairs.
“Wait,” Hero said, “now what are you doing?”
“You thought you were just getting a massage, Hero?” Villain asked, “no, it’s straight to the hot tub for you, then you’re going to sleep in a nice, soft bed. And don’t even think about trying to escape, I have plenty more muscle relaxers.”
Hero laughed and let themselves be carried down the halls to the hot tub. They should get kidnapped more often.

The Hero huffs as they're pinned mid fight once again. Villain opens their mouth to tease yet again, using Hero's given name as the sound of it rolls off their tongue so smoothly.
"I told you to stop saying my real name." Villain being able to find out their true name has been one of the biggest slip ups Hero has managed in their whole career. So far, though, Villain has only used the knowledge to be increasingly irritating.
"Why not? It sounds so nice," Their grip on Hero's wrists tightens above their head as they lean closer, "So pretty."
Their breath fans across Hero's cheek, a mischievous grin on their face, and they let the name fall from their lips yet again. Hero tries to ignore the rising heat in their chest at the sound of it, tries to ignore how delightfully soft it sounds coming from Villain.
Villain continues to pin them, not giving them an inch of leeway. "I can think of a few scenarios in which you might like me calling your name...maybe I could even get you to use mine." The innuendo is hard to miss and Hero feels themselves flushing hot even more.
"Stop with the dirty implications! Only you of all my enemies would use my true identity to be annoying instead of threatening." Hero tries to keep their voice firm, to keep the flustered tremble out of it.
Villain only chuckles and leans back, though their grip on Hero's arms stays strong. "Also, besides, your hero name is kind of stupid."

love the classic damsel in distress trope, but the damsel in question is a pathetic fictional man bleeding out in the dark somewhere on the floor before his ridiculously gorgeous knight comes for his rescue just when he’s about to pass out, and the ridiculously gorgeous knight in question is actually a deranged villain who is his archenemy. but they both have these frustratingly unresolved sexual tension going on where they both hate each other but are also super possessive and protective of each other in the sense that no one else can hurt this little guy but me!!!! and so the knight carries his pathetic damsel in his arms bridal style back to his goth castle where they have hot, kinky gay sex ever after (after he nurses his pathetic enemy’s ass back to health, of course, can’t risk bruising our fragile damsel when he’s already half dead).

Villain is Hero's favourite 'bad guy' to fight. Villain never really hurts anyone with their actions, and anything they steal is usually anonymously returned within a few days. The worst crime they've really committed is property damage. Hero is convinced they're just doing it for fun, as evidenced by Villain's very melodramatic and performatively cheesy attitude during their confrontations
Eventually, Villain disappears. Hero assumes they just decided to put down their cape and mask, though is a little saddened that they now don't have any real 'comic relief' in their day-to-day villain fighting.
A few months later, Hero is in Superhero's HQ when they come across a locked door they hadn't noticed before. Overcome with curiosity, they figure out how to get it open and take a peek inside.
Even without their iconic costume or mask, Hero would recognise Villain anywhere. Villain looks awful. Emaciated, bruised, scarred, curled up in a shivering ball in the corner of what Hero now recognises as a cell. How long has Superhero kept them here? And why? Hero doesn't know, all they do know is that this is wrong, and that their old rival needs their help, Superhero be damned.

Vampire hero x flirty villain but it’s HEAT SEASON *disappears*
“Shit, you’re a mess.” The villain crossed their arms in front of their chest and tilted their head, clearly amused.
“Yeah, listen…” The hero took in a deep breath. It was worse when they spent time with the villain, it always got worse too. Usually, they would hook up with a stranger but that simply didn’t satisfy them anymore.
The hero didn’t know what was wrong with them, they’d been “alive” for long enough now, they had dealt with this several times and had never had any problems. However, that had changed. And the hero hated change.
“You’re not sick, are you?” The villain took a step towards them. Slowly, they came closer and closer.
“No…no, I’m fine, I…hey, let’s just fight, okay?”
“You seem a little distracted.”
“I’m not.”
“Honey, you’re looking at everything I have to offer except for my pretty face.” The villain was in front of them now and the hero tried to keep their eyes on the villain’s. “I’ve done a little bit of research on vampires. Either you’re starving or…”
The hero grabbed their hand.
“Don’t say it.”
The villain’s smirk widened.
“Why not?”
“It’s embarrassing.”
“It doesn’t have to be,” the villain said. Their fingers traced the hero’s jawline. “You don’t have to be embarrassed, darling. It’s only natural, isn’t it?”
“Yes, but…” the hero began. They couldn’t control their thoughts, couldn’t control the daydreams about what they’d do with the villain.
They used to think this was a good thing, a pleasurable thing. But it had turned into a curse, had turned into a bottomless pit.
Deep down, the hero feared they had fallen for the villain. They feared they couldn’t be satisfied without them.
“Honey…” the villain said. They were everything the hero wanted in a partner. Intelligent, protective, flirty. They’d known each other for a while now. “You can’t fight in a state like this. I’ll end up on top of you and we’d reach the same outcome.”
The hero squeezed their eyes shut, trying to ignore their criminal libido. They hadn’t even thought about their actions. It was as if their body had carried them through the streets and to the villain’s apartment.
“I can’t ask that of you, it’s not right.” The hero grabbed the villain’s shoulder in search for something to stabilise them. They could feel their pulse banging in their ears.
“But I was the one suggesting it.” The villain caught the shell of the hero’s ear with their teeth softly. They bit down but released them just as quickly when the hero let out a quiet moan. “And you came to me…”
The hero was quiet. They touched the villain’s neck and caressed it, losing themselves to the feeling of someone actually caring about them.
“I can’t always control myself,” the hero whispered. “The biting or sometimes scratching, I can’t—”
“Hmmm,” the villain hummed and the hero was surprised to see a satisfied smile glued to their face. “I’m into that. So, don’t hold back, got it?”
“Are you sure you—?”
“If you’re really desperate we can do it on my desk, right here,” the villain suggested. They pressed the hero’s hips against the table and the hero could only attempt to whisper the villain’s name when they pressed their knee between the hero’s thighs. “What do you think?”
The hero didn’t know if they wanted to bite or devour the villain. Probably both.
“Y-yes, here is totally fine.”
“What a good vampire you are, hm?” the villain whispered against their ear. Their hand crawled up the hero’s thigh, slowly, agonisingly. “Three taps if it’s too much for you. You choose a safe word.”
The hero nodded.
“What do you want in return? Money? Information?”
“In return,” the villain said, their fingers playing with the hero’s underwear, “I want you to beg for it.”
Thus their affair began.
