And when the rigger tells you after failing to escape for 15 minutes: “you have 15 minutes left, you’ll better escape if you don’t want to stay tied up for those extra 2 hours, and if you like to keep your clothes, because I’m looking forward to cut your clothes off in 15 minutes “

Breath play bondage. Not for everyone and certainly should only be practiced with the correct safety measures in place and with a trusted partner. That said, it’s a fantastic dimension of play that I touched upon previously. We’ve already looked at mummification, suspension and tease/edging of subs…..so the act of controlling the air supply of your playmate is in many ways the ultimate domination. I would also include noose play or belt play around the neck, but I think that would be a little extreme unless you’re experienced in this type of scenario.

The most common form of breath play is bagging. Usually with plastic bags over the sub’s head, with the bag either taped or tied around the neck. Clear bags really only should be used for bagging. The obvious reason that your sub being able to see out and communicate if needed and more importantly, you being able to see inside to ensure everything is ok. The handy thing about using bags is the ability to quickly puncture a hole in the plastic should the neck binding become difficult to release. Breath play isn’t just limited to bagging of course, a hand or tape gag that can pinch the nose too, a full hood that has limited air to breath, gas masks with rebreathing bags or maybe some form of covering, possibly cling film (saran wrap) pulled across the face and held for a safe period of time.

For those who are curious, I wouldn’t recommend being gagged the first few times. The sensation of having no air can be terrifying, but is a lot more intense with a gagged mouth. I typically would use breath play in conjunction with edging, the race of cumming against available oxygen can be thrilling.

But please be responsible, I don’t like to spoil anyone’s fun, but these games can go wrong in a hurry. So playing with a trusted partner is always recommended and don’t forget the safe words or signals.
