All I Wanted Was You
Tumblr media
[Thor Odinson x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: Thor had always been there to protect you, save you, and love you… Until he couldn't.
WC: 3540
Category: Heavy Angst, Some hurt/comfort, mentions of Loki, Hela, and Heimdall {TW warning: Thanos and “evil squidward” — I know his name but I think Tony’s nickname is too iconic}
So I recently rewatched Infinity War, and of course watching Thor cry over losing literally everyone else he cares for in the first 15 minutes of the movie sparked my writer heart {finally} and after listening to Paramore we have this hot mess of angst (also why are all my Thor fics so angsty when he’s the definition of fluff?? I live for the drama I guess)
And just for the record, we don’t talk about the fact that I have thousands of requests and this isn’t even one of them 💀😭
『••✎••』
They say fear lies in the unknown. In the absence of facts and knowledge, the mind creates a world of illusions. If you believe your own fears, they become reality.
So what happens when the thing you fear the most is taken from you? When everything else falls to nothing? When the world is turned upside down?
You're left with a feeling that can only be described as the deepest pain imaginable.
You're left with nothing but your fear.
Your heart was racing so fast, and your breaths were short. You could feel every single muscle in your body tense up as the unnamed alien man dragged you further and further into the unknown.
The trip back to Earth, back to your sanctuary of a home, was nothing but a blur. After everything that had gone down within Asgard, including Asgard's destruction, all you could think about was your lover. Your other half.
Thor.
He was in pain, and not just physically. You had been separated due to his secretive, power-hungry sister, to where he’d left you alone with his kind-hearted people to find his father, only to disappear and leave you alone with the slaughtering of the Asgardians.
The people you’ve met that very day ended up slaughtered by Hela. Some took you by the hand, guiding and shielding you for protection against the God of Death and her henchmen. Others, you could tell, were more than just scared; they were terrified. The ones that were too slow or the ones that decided to fight back were killed within an instant.
You were no warrior. You were a simple, plain human who somehow caught the eye of the mighty Thor Odinson, and for some reason, he was in love with you.
So, while everyone else fought against Hela and her henchmen, you ran. Thor had left you there in assurance of your safety, thinking the search for his father with Loki, of all people, would be too risky for you, but in reality, you would have rather been with him. At least then, if you were to die, you could have been in the arms of the one you love.
Miraculously, you had survived the fall of Asgard and the escape from Surtur. You had no clue how. Maybe you were just lucky, or perhaps it was the grace of the Allfather. Even Heimdall, the man who saw everything, didn’t see you making it out alive.
But, when Thor had found you in the throne room cornered by some henchmen, it became a fact that Heimdall couldn’t see everything; after all.
The moment your eyes had met, the moment you heard the sound of metal against flesh, the moment his strong, powerful, protective arms wrapped around your fragile, vulnerable, weak form, and the moment his lips kissed the top of your head, you were safe.
Safe.
The only time you felt genuinely safe was when you were with Thor. His mere presence made you feel at ease. Like nothing could ever touch you or hurt you because he wouldn't let it.
He would protect you no matter the cost. He’d die for you, give his life for you, and go to the depths of Hell and back for you. He loved you, and that was something you could never understand.
Why would such a mighty god, a king, and a warrior want to love a simple human like yourself? A clumsy one at that.
You weren’t special in any way. You were ordinary.
But Thor, he was extraordinary.
The God of Thunder, a king and a warrior, a prince and a protector.
He was everything you were not.
It wasn't just the physical things that made him great, too, but the things that were inside.
Thor was a good man. A caring man. One who always thought about others and not himself.
Thor had his moments, yes, but no one is perfect. Not even a god. But the thing that made you love him, that made you want him, and the thing that made you feel safe was his heart.
That was the only part of him you could understand. The way he cared. The way he loved. The way he could make anyone smile. The way he could bring light to anyone's dark.
That's what makes a man a man. And that's why you loved him.
Even now, with one eye, a missing hammer, and a lost kingdom, he was still your everything.
And now you were reunited after being separated again. The only problem was the circumstances.
You and Thor had been in an intimate moment. The relief of having you back in his arms, the adrenaline pumping through your veins from surviving such a tragedy, had you both desperate.
He had pinned you against the wall, his hands brushing your hair away from your face to get a better look at you before he pressed his lips to yours in a soft kiss. He was always so gentle with you. The teasing and playful nips at your bottom lip were proof of that.
But the sudden sight of a ship out the large window you’d stared out of moments before the kiss broke your concentration.
Thor had pulled apart almost immediately, the feeling of his beard no longer tickling your face, but the heat of his breath and the sweet taste of his lips was still there.
It didn't take long before Thor was following your eyes, seeing for himself what had pulled you from him.
A sense of dread washed over you when you noticed how he tensed and his grip on your waist tightened. This wasn’t another Asgardian ship; no, this was something far more dangerous. You could tell by the look in Thor's eye, his non-missing eye.
Then, within seconds, he grabbed hold of your arm and yanked you out of the room. Your heart was pounding as you started yelling questions at him, trying to understand what was going on.
But, when he hit the button that sealed the room you were once in and shielded you within his arms, the panic started to set in.
That's when everything began to blur.
You remembered the sound of explosions. The tearing of metal. The screams. The smell of burning.
It all came crashing down.
Loki had come around the corner, and seeing his expression, it didn’t take much to realize what was going on.
If Loki, the God of Mischief and Lies, was terrified, then that meant something big was going down.
Thor was yelling orders, shouting commands. You could barely make out what he was saying, but you knew he was telling you to stay behind him.
Stay behind him.
Always stay behind him.
Then it changed to get the hell off the ship.
Then, to run.
Run.
Run.
Run.
The last thing you remember was looking back as you sprinted down the halls, seeing your love, your other half, the king, the prince, the protector, your Thor, fighting some creature with his bare hands.
His face was so determined. He wasn’t going down without a fight. You ran to where he had told you to go, the escape pods where Val was helping others into. You got there and saw her eyes. They were wide and full of worry.
Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong.
The sound of an explosion brought you back to the present.
Val grabbed you by the wrist and dragged you toward a pod. You could feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins and, your heart was racing so fast, and your breaths were short.
All you could think about was Thor. Where was he? Was he alright?
No.
He was not.
As soon as you entered the pod and Val had closed you in it, it was suddenly torn apart. The supposed sliding door had been ripped from its hinges.
The metal that you rested your back upon started to give, and the feeling of moving forward caused your heart to leap.
You were launched out and onto the floor.
It took a second to gain your bearings. You looked up and saw Val. She was fighting, and you were thankful to see her, but it was a short-lived relief.
The… thing she was fighting, the blue alien, grabbed hold of her and flung her across the ship. She landed somewhere near a pod and didn't move. You remembered screaming for her, but she didn't budge.
That's when the creature turned his attention to you.
You tried to move, but the metal that was supposed to hold the pod in place had you pinned.
You tried to pry the metal from your skin, but your weak and vulnerable body couldn’t break the bond.
The alien slowly moved towards you and, in a swift movement, had ripped the metal away.
He was so close, and you had no idea what was going on, who he was, or what his intentions were.
When you felt his large, rough, and cold hand wrap around the back of your neck, panic started to set in. You wanted to kick and scream, but all you could do was stare at the beast before you.
And thus, you were dragged away from the evacuation site and thrown into a separate area. You came to the conclusion that whoever this was, it seemed to be a metal bender or something similar due to his abilities.
All you saw was a demented blue face with squid-like features, staring down at you as he threw you around like a rag doll.
The fifth time he threw you, you landed roughly on the floor, causing your shoulder to make a loud crack noise and the pain to shoot through your body. Your hands landed on something soft, softer than the floor, and when you looked down, you realized the blue thing had thrown you into a room full of corpses.
But it wasn’t just any corpses. The one you had specifically landed upon had been the body of the man you had recently become close friends with, Thor’s friend, Heimdall.
Tears immediately pooled in your eyes, and your breathing became ragged. You tried to sit up and pull your body off of Heimdall in respect, but the pain shooting through your arm and back kept you frozen in place.
The lifeless eyes of the man who saw everything were open, and for once, he was staring at nothing. It was a haunting image.
The tears were now falling, and a sob escaped your lips. You wanted to curl up into a ball and cry. You wanted to scream and shout. You wanted to fight and claw at the alien that took until it bled. But all you could do was lay there, unable to move and weep.
Then, a voice caught your attention. It was deep, and it was coming from the alien that had brought you to this place.
His eyes were no longer focused on you, but they were somewhere else. He was talking to someone.
“Boss,” it spoke, his voice deep and gravelly. You couldn’t bear to look at the being. Not when you were face to face with the lifeless body of the gatekeeper. “There’s a human woman here. A pathetic one, no doubt, but one nonetheless. Should we end her? Or leave her to rot like the others?"
A silence filled the air, and you had no idea what was going on, who he was speaking with, or who was giving him instructions. You could’ve looked. You could have glanced up at the thing, and seen for yourself, but you too were afraid.
Your eyes remained glued to the golden ones that were once filled with light and wisdom.
There was silence, and then a loud, deep, thump. It had startled you, but it wasn't anything like the explosion of the ship, no, it sounded more like a boot or a shoe had come in contact with metal. But, it was loud enough to grab your attention.
You didn’t move. Your eyes didn't stray.
But, your body trembled in fear.
Suddenly, you heard his voice, and it sounded more terrifying than any sound that had echoed in the air prior. It was even deeper, and even more frightening than the other.
“I think not. We have use of her."
He had a deep and gravelly voice, but it was smooth. Calm. Almost friendly.
Then, a large, purple foot, appeared in your vision, and slowly, the purple being leaned down and stared at you. His gaze was strong, and piercing. You wanted to look away, but you couldn’t. You were too terrified to move, speak, or breathe.
Again, it wasn’t human. It was an alien. And a big one, at that.
He had no hair, only a helmet. His skin was purple and he wore strange looking clothing, including a golden glove that had both a bright purple stone and a blue one.
You’ve never seen such a creature before. You thought those dark elves were terrifying, but they were nothing compared to this man.
And for some reason, he was looking at you like you were an ant, and he was the boot that would crush you.
In fact, he was looking at you with pity, and it confused the hell out of you.
But, when his hand moved, and his fingers had touched the soft strand of your hair, you couldn't help but flinch.
The moment his fingers made contact with you, though, you heard a loud grunt. One that didn’t sound alienated or distorted. It was clear, and you could tell who it was, instantly.
Your head shot up, ignoring the pain in your arm, and the moment your eyes met his, everything stopped.
Everything.
It was Thor.
Your Thor. Your everything.
He was in front of you the entire time, and you had no clue.
The tears were falling. They were falling hard and fast, and you couldn’t stop them. And for once, it wasn’t because of relief.
Thor was encased with metal. His arms and legs were pinned by it. He was bleeding from his head, and he was covered in bruises.
He looked like hell and gave off the same energy.
He was struggling to free himself. That’s what the sounds were. The grunts, the heavy breathing, and the loud thumping. He was trying to get out of his prison to get to you. To save you.
The alien was staring down at you. His eyes were dark and intimidating, but his presence was even more so. He was the embodiment of terror.
Then, without any warning, he grabbed you by the throat.
It was an unexpected move. He had picked you up by the neck with just one hand. He had a grip so tight you couldn't breathe, and the pressure on your throat was unbearable.
You could hear Thor screaming. Yelling.
You could barely hear what he was saying. Your ears were ringing, and the pain of the hand wrapped around your throat was all you could focus on.
But, you could see him. You could see him perfectly.
You saw his blue eye and the patch that covered the missing one. You saw the stubble along his chin. The slight scar that was just below the patch. The wrinkles on his forehead.
You could see it all.
And the look of desperation and horror. It broke you.
You couldn’t take it anymore. It was too much.
Then, in the blink of an eye, you felt release.
You fell to the floor and started gasping for air. It was like the moment the alien released his grip on you, everything began again. The world, your thoughts, the chaos.
It was all there, and you couldn’t keep up.
“I see it now.” You heard the voice of the alien say. Your vision was blurry, and your eyes were still stinging from the tears, but you could make him out if only a bit.
He was now standing, towering over you, but he wasn’t looking at you. No, he was looking at Thor; his eyes were focused on the god, which sent a chill down your spine.
When dealing with Hela, you find yourself recovering with confidence. She could’ve easily killed you with a snap of her finger, but when she demanded your name, you had spat in her face and gave a smile.
Even though Thor wasn’t there at that moment, you somehow knew he’d be coming back to put an end to her, and you would be safe. It was like a sixth sense that came and made you stop panicking and running.
And, even though he technically didn’t put her down, he still was your knight in shining armor. It was the same with the dark elves and even with Loki.
They were all terrifying, yes, but somehow, you knew that Thor would save the day.
Now, though, it was different. You weren’t scared or panicked; no, you were terrified.
The fact that Thor was trapped and was physically in pain, the fact that Heimdall and more innocent Asgardians were lying on the floor, dead, and the fact that Loki was missing and Val was knocked unconscious, it had all hit you at once.
You felt like you were suffocating, and it only worsened when the alien spoke again.
“I was questioning why a mortal was amongst a group of Asgardians, how such a fragile being could survive so long among gods. I wondered, but I see it now. You have been blessed by one, and the last, of Odin's children."
The alien's attention was back on you, and the intensity of his gaze had you trembling. He was staring at you, looking through you, and reading you like a book.
"What a pitiful yet fortunate creature you are."
It was like the oxygen had been sucked from your lungs, and when he moved, you found yourself flinching and scooting backward.
He had leaned down again, and his large hand had grabbed the side of your face. The feeling of his skin on yours made your skin crawl, and the urge to vomit was growing.
Thor wasn’t having it. He was thrashing about; the metal that was encasing his body was bending and stretching with each move.
His cries of anger and the desperation in his eyes were heartbreaking. And it was only shut up by the alien who had taken you. A piece of metal flew to Thor’s mouth and held it in place, preventing him from yelling.
More grunts and muffled noises could be heard from the god, but you could no longer see him now. The purple man was blocking your view.
But, despite that, he was still talking to Thor.
"It is a shame, Thor Odinson. I take pity on the both of you, and I apologize, for it seems that fate has not been kind to either of you. But, we must make sacrifices. It is unfortunate that your beloved had to be one of them."
Then, suddenly, the alien turned his gaze back to you, and his dark eyes bore into yours. He was staring directly into your soul.
"Fear not, small child,” he said, his voice sounding almost calm. “You will not have to endure the pain and suffering as I did.”
The words that left his mouth did not give you comfort. It was quite the opposite.
Thor came back into your viewpoint as the purple man had moved, and when your eyes met his, all you saw was a mixture of panic and despair.
Thor's expression had you feeling a type of way. You could feel your stomach sink.
You weren’t dumb. You were far from it.
You knew where this was going, and your mind was screaming, screaming for you to do something, anything.
Run.
Fight.
Scream.
Just do something.
But all you did was stare. Stare at the man that you loved. The man that loved you. The man who had saved you countless times.
But he couldn’t save you now, even when you cried out his name in a soft voice, that frail, humane part of you begging him with your eyes to stop this from happening.
To stop it from hurting.
He couldn’t.
All he could do was look at you, look as you were taken. Look as you were pulled away from him.
All he could do was stare and scream.
It was the loudest, most horrific sound you had ever heard. It was worse than the explosion.
It was worse than anything.
It was the cry of a man who had just lost the last thing that gave him purpose.
It was the sound of a god being torn to pieces.
And it was all because of you.
That was the last thing you heard. That was the last image that burned itself into your brain.
The sound of Thor and his desperate screams was the last thing you remembered.
Everything after that was darkness.
No memories, no thoughts, nothing.
Just darkness.
All he wanted was you.
All he needed was you.
And now, all he had left was the memory of you: that and his broken heart.

(Also, let's just pretend Hela didn't destroy Mjollnir :DD)
Spoilers for Loki season 2!
Warning/s: Just some cursing
WC: 3.3k
Tumblr media
When you realized that your existence is in great trouble, you do your best to find a way to get back to where you were previously encapsulated as a time criminal. After all, they're the reason why you're fucked. But, seems like you'll be needing the Avengers' help first. And Loki's.
Tumblr media
"What the fuck."
Was all Tony Stark could managed to say after being abruptly interrupted by a terrifyingly distorted figure appearing right in front of him, evidently disrupting the banter he was having with the so-called God of Mischief, Loki. The other avengers surrounding the two men were no different, frozen on their spot as they gather round in the sophisticated compound, loss for words at the woman who happens to appear uninvited.
You stood there breathless.
Without any second thoughts, they made their move directing a fighting stance at you, as if expecting a sudden attack. Just what you'd expect from the Earth's mightiest heroes.
Minus Loki.
Though, not without a hint of confusion delighting their faces.
After you had successful regain your balance, although still dreading the feeling of being ripped apart through time, you slowly flayed your hands up in defeat. Panting, you surveyed around.
You were in the Avengers' compound.
"What...in the hell was that?" the one who seemed to have said that was actually the only one hesitant to attack you, knuckles upfront him with an obvious unsureness as his eyes warily scanned you. Gaping, he continued. "Did I...Did I hallucinate that or...? Oh, god, am I going mad?"
"I don't believe that is the case here, Banner." boomed Thor, holding out Mjollnir threateningly. Eyes stern at your panting form.
Alright, how fortunate to see a very familiar face.
"I hope so. Or else, I might as well decide that being on a whole different planet for a whole year and being part of a godly family crisis has already altered my mind in many different ways."
"Bruce, calm down." a bearded blonde man with a shield said. Steve Rogers. You recall. "Just be thankful that isn't the case here because it certainly isn't."
You wish you could snort at the exchange but you have other matters to focus on at the moment. Though, you held Banner's terrified gaze with a wary of your own as you think for a moment who Banner is but you brush it aside.
You can't afford to dilly-dally with such questions and just preferably, avoid starting a needless fight.
With Stark now a few steps back from you, hands enclosed in his iron red gauntlet with the center of his palm alight, he eyed you suspiciously. He pointed at you, threatening to blast you on your spot. Not even sliding the chance to put out a snarky comment. "I don't know about that Cap. I think we've all gone mad."
"Shut it, Tony." the blondied woman in a black armored and leather suit remarked, eyeing the freaked out Banner. "Now's not the time."
He only gave her a stern look before returning it back to you, although not without muttering something under his breath. You can almost make out the mocking smile he had before seriously staring you down.
That's also when you perfectly noticed the raven haired God at your other side. Just like Stark, he was a few steps away. Your hands were still in the air as you didn't waste a second to slowly shift your eyes to the God who you we're just with a few hours ago.
Technically, it isn't him and also, you're not even certain if that was a few hours ago. TVA has victoriously displaced your sense of time and you have no choice but to set that aside for now.
First and foremost, let's not die in the hands of these worldly — and otherworldly — renowned superhuman Midgardian people.
"That was no sorcery." was all Loki could utter, blaring a suspicious glare at you. At this point, you can say that everyone here is glaring daggers at you with so much suspicion after just witnessing you appear uncannily right in front of their eyes. Loki's trusty daggers points at you with such intensity that you can't help but freeze on your spot entirely. You garner that moving further might just cause him to pounce on you and successfully cut your throat out.
Such a Loki trait. You consciously note. At the same time, it pricks a sense of oddness to you.
"For once, I can agree with you." this time, it was the man in a red cape. His hands projecting a some sort of fiery circular engravings — Or markings, it seems — that you were not familiar with. Although, it did felt familiar. "Who are you and why have you come here?"
Finally asking the right questions, everyone else anticipated your response.
"I'd really thought you'd ask how I did get here but, fine." your attempt at settling everything down with a little humor earned nothing. You only strained a smile. "You can put your guard down now. I doubt I can even inflict damage to any of you when I am outnumbered, don't you think?" You say with a nervous shrug.
"Wait.." Thor started. "You are an Asgardian."
Ah.
"Wait, what now?" a conflicted Banner turned to him with a frown. "Where did that come from?"
"Her clothing." it was Loki. Tilting his head, he slightly squinted at you. You can already feel their movements break from their stance but nonetheless, was still on guard. "But I wouldn't want to jump to conclusions if I were you, brother. A lie or two is easy to miss." he says that in a lowered and slick tone, eyes prying deep in your existence.
"Good preach, God of Lies, but why don't you myth brothers figure something out if she'll massacre us or join the party. Is that good or is that impossible?" Stark commands.
"That's-" Thor tries to say.
"I can do that." Oh no.
Without hesitation, Loki readies to attack you with a knowing smirk. You want to say that you expected that but in terms of fighting physically between you and him, he always precedes. Except when it comes to sorcery.
Yet, his daggers haven't spelt your doom when suddenly, you fell.
You fell and landed in a bright room enclosed with the very bright color of white. Norns, help me. At this point, I'm not even surprised if Midgardian structures could be capable of blinding me. Humans and their taste in design.
Before you could jump to assumptions whether you time-slipped again, you heard the sound of sizzling above you as you turn to look only to see a yellow ring close.
Oh. You thought. Of course. How can I forget that doctor wizard and his parlor tricks? I can do better than that.
But before you could prove it to no one in particular by trying to dematerialize a wall for your way out, which you expected to be unbreakable because, well, this is the Avengers' territory — you felt the familiar twist of your body as you closed your eyes, getting ready for what's to come. You're time-slipping. Again.
When you opened your eyes, you don't know if you should be relieved or not because you were still in the same spot.
I am seriously starting to despise this more than anything. You say in your mind, cranking your head in pain.
As if the universe has heard your impulsive thoughts for wanting to pride yourself as the better sorcerer, one episode of time-slipping has managed to avert your thoughts to a different one. There's really no point in trying to escape when you'll be thrown off eventually to a different timeline thus, relieving you off of this situation. At least you hope you'll have that kind of luck, considering that you're here imprisoned and untrusted by heroes. For the meantime, you painfully have a lot of questions.
The fact that you are time-slipping outside of TVA is making you feel wary and disoriented.
Not just that, because you're not being tossed around through time in one place like before in TVA, but because you're being tossed around in different branches of time. You can't help but overthink, a blooming panic erupts in you. If what you heard from Ouroboros was true, about the possibility of being lost to time, then maybe you can consider that that's what's occurring to you. Adding to that, how can Loki and the others track you when there's a number of branches exceeding spontaneously and you're amongst one of them — inconsistently appearing through one branch after another.
To hell with this time-slipping phenomenon.
Such thoughts have managed to waver your poised will. You don't want this. After everything that's happened, you're now overwhelmed by incomparable fear, enough to cover the pang of grief that you successfully tried to keep a hold off during the dangers you have encountered. And that causes you to resume the fear of losing something again. If before you've lost the right to exist in your own timeline, then now seems like you're losing more than you could think of.
A chance. The chance to only exist without the burden of being a criminal to time.
The Loki you met ensured you that. And you're scared to lose the hope you unconsciously held so close that he had given you.
You're scared that you're bound to be stuck in time, alone and nowhere to belong to.
You're just a displaced speck of entity in the vast timelines of universes, an error meant to be rid of.
Is this truly the ending that you deserve?
Just lost to time. For eternity.
After everything that you've been through, you think of the fact that your Nexus event was a fickle thing in the grand scheme of things. A mere sentiment, and now it's a fault that you apparently cannot undo.
Would you have regret it?
Ah. You think. That's the problem,
I don't.
Tumblr media
For the love of Buri, what is happening?
You have already time-slipped thrice in a row now, and you're still where you stood afoot a few minutes ago.
You hitched your breathing as you relished the acquainted feeling of distortion, you exhaled in distraught. Your mind trying to run a million miles per second thinking of an explanation on the same bloody concept of time as well as your timely old friend, time-slipping. Marvelous.
But before you could sit down and relax on the cushions edging on two sides of the opposite walls which levels above your knee, you caught in the corner of your eye the wall you tried to dematerialize earlier; now fading from white to being transparent like glass.
And behind the glass wall stood your captors.
You tried to ground yourself with the wall beside you, but you pushed your body to the side so that you can at least have the decency to look like you aren't struggling so much. Because you definitely aren't.
"Good catch." remarked Stark. "We have so much going on today with Earth being threatened by a goofy alien that's apparently so much more dangerous than we could know — and now, you add more questions and trouble to that just for appearing out of nowhere like a grated spaghetti."
You almost missed the way the blonde woman rolled her eyes at Stark's words but nonetheless, you focus on what he said.
Earth being threatened by an alien.
"Do you mean to say... Thanos?" you ask. Doubtlessly aware of his feats and reputation in your timeline. Their heads perked up at the mention of the said Titan.
"You know of him?" quite surprised at the familiar voice, you turn to look at Thor.
Parting your lips with slight hesitation, you reply. "No. No, I do not. At least, not personally. He is called the Mad Titan, a galactic conqueror. Tis but a.... common knowledge where I come from."
"Which is Asgard, is it not?" Loki tauntingly says.
Oh, well.
He eyes you in victory for having caught your lie and the foolish words you had unintentionally slip. But he continued. "Or perhaps, my brother and I are mistaken to assume that you are a kin of our people. As well as considering that of your knowledge of this Mad Titan, you seem to know more than just that." you slightly stiffened, noting the lofty tone he had, slowly strutting his way forward with his hands tucked behind him. "Keep hiding your secrets but your eventual lies will get you nowhere when I'm here, imposter."
"Brother..."
"No, no, let him. It's great that we have a lie-detector in the team." Stark muses, earning an unamused head shake from Rogers.
Your gaze lingers a tad bit longer than you intended to at the raven-head, deciding whether you should even admit your unruly situation to them and potentially double their troubles a hundredfold by stating that their lives are also in danger from a timeless phenomenon and being at risk for the possible collapse of their existence altogether.
Probably not a good idea.
Moreover, you don't want to let yourself fall in the luxury of pitting yourself with fellow Asgardians and perhaps attain the old life you had when you woefully know that you have no place in any kind of reality no more. Your heart clenches at that.
But how can you possibly deny your origin and the non-sorcery distortion materialization, also called—
Your body aches and twists as you grit your teeth, shutting your eyes and reliving the ripping portion of this damned time-slip. As it ended, your breath wavers as you pant, shoulders crooked at the fleeting sensation it brought. Expecting that maybe you have been transported to another timeline, you peek one eye out.
You see the same faces and surroundings except this time, their reaction contorts to a series of pained and horrified expressions. Even Loki looked uneasy.
You exhale. "Pardon me, that must've been very unsightly." you eventually say.
"That just happened again." Banner gawks.
"Are you alright?" a stern voice asks. You turn to meet the concerned eyes of Rogers. "I assume that doesn't happen normally. Not even for Asgardians." you caught the quick glance he gave at Thor before focusing back on you.
You reply, nodding. "No, no, you're right. This is no common occurrence amongst the people of Asgard. It is simply just.... " you puff your body back up in a poised posture. "No, not simply." you let out a strained chuckle, confliction can be traced on your face. "To be painfully honest and blunt, I am lost through time and I haven't got a clue on what exactly I shall plan to do in these circumstances. Although indeed, I am an Asgardian but, from a different...let's say, reality. So rest assured because I don't plan on harming heroes I've accompanied in battle."
You were ready to receive their doubtful phrases and looks, but the sorcerer who brought you in this cage steps forward. Almost like he disapproved everything you had just mentioned.
"Time-travelling is not something to be tampered with. Unless, you're adept at the arts of time sorcery, and to be able to manipulate it without damaging our reality is rather a big feat for a sorcerer." he explains. This time, he frowns at you. "But no. Whatever's happening to you, it doesn't feel like magic."
You take in his words, holding his unrelenting stare. "You're right..."
You know Doctor Strange and his capabilities as the Sorcerer Supreme, and as you thought of the fact that he also possesses the Time Stone, maybe you can do something with his help.
Even though you know the chances of successfully using magic against a complication from TVA is way below the odds, you'd wager.
He raises a brow but before he could add more, you spoke. "Time-slipping." you pause, scanning his expression, hoping that maybe someone who knows so much about the expertise of time in terms of magic could help you discover your way back to TVA. Though, his face doesn't show any hint of knowing so you pushed further. "I've been repeatedly tossed around multiple branches of time against my will, but not because I time-traveled. For now all I can say is, I am stuck here in your reality and, well... with a distorting body."
"Great. Sure. Magic and sorcerers exist, even Gods, so why the hell would I not believe anything about time-traveling now? Tell me, Doc, is she making any sense to you?" Stark walks towards the said wizard. You slightly frowned at the tone he used. If this is how Tony Stark reacts to someone he doesn't trust just like how a particular individual mentioned to you, then you're glad that the Stark that you know favored you well.
Not that it matters anymore.
"I've never heard anything about that kind of problem. Especially now you do confirm it doesn't root from magic." the Doctor answers.
Stark hefts up his hands, looking around at everyone else, as if showing that his point has just been proven.
But from the corner of your eye, you noticed the way Loki haughtily rolls his eyes with a sigh and you perfectly know what irked him at that moment.
"As if a second-rate sorcerer could know anything more beyond the complexion of sorcery and time."
The only woman other than you sighs in slight frustration. "Oh, no. Someone please stop him."
If you weren't in a tight spot, you could've laughed at her compliant. Although, that earned her a glare from the trickster with crossed arms. For once in a while, it's nice to see Loki act so indifferently.
Strange only gave the God a pointed look before resting his eyes back on you. "Okay. If what you say is true, time-slipping as you would call it and to consider there's no magic tapping into this, what exactly do you plan on doing now?"
There it is. "I need your help."
"Are you shitting me right now?" Stark loops in.
"Even if with just your help, Doctor Strange. Please." you plead, firmly stepping closer to the glass barrier.
"How can you assure you're not just after something from us, specifically from him." Loki tips his head in Strange's direction. You know well that he caught unto your intentions as he spares a quick glance at the necklace of the said wizard.
Cocky snake.
At that, everyone stares at you sharply that if looks could kill, you'd be a dead corpse that has been stabbed with various types of weaponry magnificently forged by dwarves.
"You're not entirely wrong if you think that I'm after the Time Stone but for argument's sake, there is a reason why it is called the Time Stone." you explain, trying not to waver for being the receiving end to their eventual wrath. For a second, you thought you'd gain another yet of Loki's condescending retortions, but you're surprised that he only eyed you down impassively. Observing you.
Banner joins in. "If you admit it and put it like that then, I don't even know if you're lying or not anymore." he sits down on one of the metallic chairs by the semi-circular machinery in the middle of the room. "Even though that last part sounded dumb for an excuse; which is exactly why I'm having second thoughts."
"That's... I appreciate that — I think." you say, slightly frowning. It is dumb. You don't blame him though.
He gives you a tight-lipped smile which disappears immediately. "Yeah, no, it's fine."
Stark looks at him incredulously, as if he truly felt betrayed. "Bruce, what the hell?"
The others quirk confusingly at the exchange before you spoke again. "But to be clear again, that wasn't an excuse. Not for deception, at least."
It actually didn't sit quite well with you that the one who usually loves to deceive is standing idly in silence when you mentioned his expertise.
But you know that calculating gaze of his.
"Fine." you bat an eye at the person who spoke. "But you are to be restrained until we deem you trustworthy. One wrong step and you might just end up somewhere other than a cell."
A weight lifts up from your chest, somehow. You eye Strange in relief, almost a hint of exhaustion engulfs your expression but you blink it away. "I am grate-"
Your body contorts and twists once again.

Portal to My Heart (Book 1.5) Chapter Seventeen
Loki x Reader
Chapter Seventeen: For the Heart
Summary: Loki and (Y/N) get a chance to talk.
Mouse Note: Can I apologize now? We all know what's happening next.
(Y/N) and Loki walked into Thor’s room as he finished examining his eyepatch.
            “It suits you,” said Loki.
            “Kingly,” said (Y/N).
“Maybe you’re not so bad after all, Brother,” said Thor.
“Maybe not,” said Loki with a smile.
“Thank you,” said Thor, first looking at (Y/N). “You protected my people. I can’t thank you enough.”
(Y/N) smiled. “I care for them, too. It was the least I could do.”
“And thank you, Brother,” said Thor, addressing Loki. “If you were here, I might even give you a hug.” He tossed a small object at him.
            Loki caught it. “I’m here.”
Thor stormed forward and wrapped (Y/N) and Loki into a bear hug before they could protest.
l
The crowd of Asgardians parted and bowed as Thor walked through to his throne at the helm of the ship.
            “Your throne,” said Valkyrie.
            Thor sat down.
“So, King of Asgard,” said Heimdall.
Thor awkwardly turned around and waved at his people.
            “Where to?” asked Heimdall.
“I’m not sure,” said Thor. “Any suggestions? Miek, where are you from?”
“Oh, Miek’s dead,” said Korg. “Yeah, no, I accidentally stepped on him on the bridge. I’ve just felt so guilty, I’ve been carrying him around all day.” Suddenly, Miek raised his head and chittered. “Miek! You’re alive! He’s alive, guys. What was your question again, bro?”
Thor looked back out at the stars and made his decision. “Earth it is.”
l
“So, you’ll be returning to your home,” said Loki to (Y/N) as they walked down the hall to their quarters.
“Earth? I mean, can it really count as my home after so many years? I got pretty used to Asgard,” said (Y/N).
“Isn’t the Midgardian saying ‘the home is where the heart is?’ ” said Loki.
“I don’t think my heart is on Midgard anymore. I had no family or really any friends there. Everything I care about is here,” said (Y/N), absently looking at Loki.
He paused and gazed at her. “You…care about me?”
“Maybe you’re not so bad, Loki,” said (Y/N), smiling. “I guess it’s not just your banter that makes you tolerable.”
“Oh? And what does make me tolerable?” said Loki, taking a step closer.
“Your bravery. I don’t know what happened to the ass that tried to take over my planet, but you did the honorable thing today.” (Y/N) smiled. “I’m glad you changed. I think you’ve become a better person.”
“I’ve always been great,” said Loki.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes, but the smile remained. “And there’s that terrible pride. I thought we were going to have a civil discussion.”
“The two of us are never civil,” said Loki. He let a smile creep onto his face. “But I suppose that is what is so entertaining about our friendship.”
“Oh, so I’m still just amusement? How flattering,” teased (Y/N).
“Well, yes, you are amusing,” said Loki. He shifted almost nervously, and (Y/N) took notice.
“Loki?” said (Y/N), prompting him. It seemed like he had more to say.
“I wanted to say thank you,” admitted Loki.
            “Thank you?” repeated (Y/N), confused.
“For protecting the Asgardians,” he clarified.
“Oh. Well, of course I helped them. They’re innocents. I couldn’t let Hela hurt them,” said (Y/N).
“But it’s not just about Hela,” said Loki. (Y/N) paused in confusion and let Loki continue. “It’s about me.”
“You?” (Y/N) knew he’d been terrible in the past, but lately, Loki had been improving and evolving.
“Me.” Loki took a deep breath. “When I acted as Odin, you looked after Asgard. You kept the realms in balance.”
(Y/N) turned red. “I didn’t really do anything, Loki, seriously. I just made sure no one got away with stupid decisions.”
“(Y/N), I would have run rampant as King,” said Loki. “You were the one who protected the people of Asgard and looked after them. You were my dear Advisor, but you were the Asgardians’ true Queen.”
“I’m no queen,” said (Y/N), laughing nervously.
“Yes, you are,” said Loki, reaching out and touching (Y/N)’s wrist. He trailed to her hand. “Thor might have been born to be king, but you were the people’s queen. You still are.” Loki held (Y/N)’s hand lightly. “You are my advisor but their Queen.”
“A queen,” repeated (Y/N), blushing. “You’re really trying to flatter me.”
“I am called Silvertongue,” said Loki. He gazed intently at her. “But this is just me being honest. You are an honorable woman. You are sharp and intelligent, and you see through the lies and manipulations of others. You are precisely what a ruler should be.”
(Y/N) was wondering how much redder she could turn before exploding. “I, uh, wow…That’s a pretty hefty standard.”
“It is the truth,” said Loki. “You are an incredible woman of power and honor.” He wasn’t sure how to convey how he felt without saying the words that would make or break his heart. He loved (Y/N) too much to risk the heartbreak that would accompany rejection. He feared her opinion of him more than any other’s.
“Loki…” murmured (Y/N). “You’re incredible, too. You’ve grown from your mistakes. Not many can say the same.” Her hand slipped in his grip to return the hold.
“I…I have?” said Loki, almost hesitantly.
“Yes. You make mistakes and stumble, but you’ve been helping others and looking after people,” said (Y/N), smiling. “That’s incredible, Loki. Most people aren’t strong enough to change. You should be proud of yourself.”
“I wasn’t even aware of it as I did,” said Loki, holding (Y/N)’s hand tighter.
            “Well, that’s how change works. It’s little-by-little,” said (Y/N).
“Perhaps. But I didn’t change for myself,” said Loki. His green eyes met (Y/N)’s with such intensity and care that it was hard for (Y/N) to not look away nervously.
“No?” The word was hushed, barely a breath. (Y/N) felt something hanging in the air between her and Loki, and she was afraid to break it.
“No.” Loki stepped closer, and his free hand reached to brush her cheek. When (Y/N) didn’t move away, he cupped her face with gentle care. “No, (Y/N), my dear Advisor. I changed for you.”
            “Me?”
“You. You pushed me to be a better person, whether you realized it or not, and somewhere along the line, I began to think of you when making decisions. My change is because of you.” Loki smiled at her. “Thank you, my darling.”
“Oh, Loki,” said (Y/N), reaching up and covering the hand on her cheek.
            “(Y/N),” murmured Loki.
He leaned in slightly, and (Y/N)’s eyes fluttered closed.
Their lips brushed, and their hearts pounded.
“Aha! (Y/N), Loki, I was looking for you—Oh!”
(Y/N) and Loki jumped apart as Thor walked down the hall. They avoided eye-contact and cleared their throats uncomfortably as Thor stared at them.
“Uh…I interrupted something, didn’t I?” said Thor awkwardly.
            “What? No,” (Y/N) laughed nervously.
“Nonsense,” said Loki, clearing his throat uncomfortably.
But both person’s heart thumped sadly at having to leave the moment they had created for just them. Just Loki and (Y/N), together.
Their confession would have to wait for another time.

Any Fan’s Dream, Part 23

I don’t know how many of you have noticed but recently my accounts been buggy but it recently got fixed (I think) and here’s a new extra long chapter for u all!!

"Loki?"
Everyone in the room froze.
Thor was frozen out of shock and disbelief at the revelation that not only was his sibling alive, but that Loki was on Asgard. It wasn't the first time Loki had faked his death so maybe he shouldn't have been as surprised as he was, but he couldn't help it.
Loki was frozen because his big secret had been revealed to his brother--and most definitely not in the most convenient way.
You were frozen for a much different reason. No offense to Loki, but there were bigger things than just his overdramatic death being exposed. In the movies, Loki isn't shown to be alive until Thor: Ragnarok--not only did that happen before then, but it happened a whole year early. Civil War takes place a year after AoU and Ragnarok is two years after AoU, so this had sped it up quite a bit.
Was Odin already on Earth? He had to be if Loki was on Asgard ruling. And that meant that Odin would die in a year and Hela would be released. Out of all the events you wanted to prevent, Hela being freed was the one you felt was the hardest. She was insanely powerful and it's not like you could just keep Odin alive, the bitch was old.
You gnawed on your lip like a rat on cheese, thoughts running wild as you thought of the consequences of Loki being revealed; so drawn into your head, you hardly even noticed the people standing in the doorway.
That is until one of them approached you.
"(n/n)?" A soft voice breathed out. "(n/n), you're here--you're really here. Can I hug you?"
You caught the eyes of the other person standing in the doorway, Natasha looking at you with relief while she ushered Thor and Loki out of the room to give you and Peter privacy.
You looked up, heart jumping at the familiar voice. You met his warm brown eyes, his concern reflected in the depths of the. But it wasn't just concern that filled his eyes, there was something else.
Tears.
"Of course you can," you answered, pulling Peter into your embrace as he sat beside you on the cot.
His arms wrapped around you, leaving you surrounded with a sense of peace. "Are you okay, (n/n)?"
You rubbed his back as his voice shook. "I'm okay, Peter. Promise."
"Next time, I'm gonna be there and- and I'm gonna make sure you don't get hurt." Peter promised, letting the tears fall from his eyes. He didn't want to worry you but..."It was so scary. I thought I'd lost you. You're one of the most important people in my like, you know?"
And that's when you started crying.
You couldn't help it. You had been stressed, sad, and then stabbed, all within the last week. You had missed the days before the Accords when you had trained with Nat and Steve and built all kinds of things with Tony and when you would go back to Peter's apartment and hangout with him.
You were trying to be strong. To be someone who could go up against any opposition and defeat them in the name of the people you cared about. But at the end of the day, you were no Avenger. No superhero. You were just a scared teenager.
"You're one of the strongest people I know," Peter said softly, finally releasing you from the hug. Even as his own face was streaked with tears, he managed to smile at you. "But please don't do these things alone. I'm here for you."
You wiped the tears from your face. "You're an amazing person. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have met you."
Peter pulled you back into a hug, allowing himself to finally relax because you were okay.
Surrounded by his warm embrace and tired from finally breaking down and crying, you allowed yourself to give into your body's desire for rest.
When Natasha came into the room half an hour later, she found the two of you still leaning against each other, Peter's head resting on your shoulder as the two of you slept.
~~
You rolled over, accidentally hitting something. Rubbing your eyes, you managed to clear your gaze before looking at the person sleeping beside you.
Aww...he looks so peaceful...
You moved away from the cot, trying not to wake up Peter as you did so. You felt guilty as you looked at his tranquil expression, wondering if he had really lost sleep because of your decisions. You had done the things you did because you wanted to protect everyone, you didn't want to make them worry more.
You sat up, finally looking away from your best friend.
Wow, he really was your best friend...you'd never had one of those.
It wasn't that you were horrible at making friends or anything, but your life before had been crammed full of studying and making yourself as appealing to colleges as possible. Your parents had only ever pushed you harder and while you knew it was good to want your child to succeed, to them it was more about ensuring that you made them look good.
You'd had the occasional friendly acquaintance and study buddies, but none of them were really close. You'd never spoken about your dreams to them, or given them hugs, or even been that affected if one of them stopped talking to you.
But now you had someone you never wanted to lose.
"You okay, babe?"
You wiped your eyes, realizing that they had misted up while you were lamenting.
You looked at the woman in front of you, allowing a smile onto your face. "I'm good." You stood up and approached her, giving her a hug. "I missed you, Nat."
Natasha hugged you back. "You're crazy. You can't be doing these things. What if you had gotten hurt? Scratch that, you did get hurt. You almost died."
She didn't want to lose you, not when she'd finally allowed herself to care about the people around her.
"I know, I'm sorry." You stepped back. "I just couldn't let the team fall apart--"
"I understand that, (y/n). But please talk to me next time. Or leave a note. You know how bad it was to have you just up and disappear then get a call from Steve that you had gotten injured and might die?"
You looked down, your smile long gone. "I'm sorry."
Her eyes softened and she reached out to tilt your chin up. "I know. I missed you too, (y/n)."
She stepped back. "They said you should be completely recovered in a couple hours."
"Really?" Your eyes went wide. "How? I mean--it wasn't exactly a small scratch. Jeez, Asgard's technology must really be phenomenal. That's amazing." You started thinking about the possibilities, wondering what kind of treatment would heal you so quickly and efficiently that you'd be completely recovered in less than 12 hours after having multiple deep stab wounds.
"Yes, but we're still staying the night." Natasha informed you. "Thor offered and I'd rather you rested for the night before going back."
You weren't about to refuse the chance to have a sleepover on Asgard. "Okay."
"His highness has extended a dinner invitation to all of you." A young man said, standing in the doorway.
Your stomach rumbled at the mention of food. "Awesome. I'm starving."
 "Follow me, then."
You and Natasha followed the man, but not before you tucked the blanket around Peter. You briefly wondered if you should wake him up so he could eat, but he deserved to rest and you were sure that you could get food later when he woke up.
You gazed around the palace halls in awe, still in disbelief that you were actually on Asgard. The golden walls, incredibly high ceilings, and the different deities roaming around. You wondered briefly if you would be able to meet Heimdall, but your train of thought was interrupted when you stepped into the cavernous dining hall.
Your eyes practically bulged out of your head as you looked around. The place was big enough to fill several marching bands and all their instruments. How many people ate in this room normally? Anything less than 200 hundred and the space would look empty.
You looked to the only table laden with food, feeling slightly uncomfortable that only one table in the room was being used. With a space this big, shouldn't there be a bunch of people eating?
You and Natasha approached the table, your eyes glancing at the raven-haired one before looking to the head of the table where Thor sat.
"Thanks for saving my life, Thor. Also, how come the room is so empty?"
"Anytime, Lady (y/n)." Thor smiled. "And the room is empty because the majority of people ate about an hour ago. We didn't want to wake you, though."
"Oh." Well now you felt bad. "You guys didn't have to wait. But thanks anyways."
"It is 'no problem' as the Midgardians say," Thor's cheery voice lifting your spirit. "Are you hungry?"
You sat to Thor's right, Loki sitting across from you looking disgruntled. Natasha sat down beside you.
"I am, actually." Your eyes looked over the abundant food, each one making your mouth water.
Thor took a bite out of what appeared to be a chicken leg but about 12 times bigger. "Have anything you'd like! There is plenty to go around."
And he was right.
You dug into the food, picking yourself a variety of the different things set out before you. Each one made you fall in love with Asgard even more. There were gorgeous palaces, amazing people, and some of the best food you'd ever had? It was practically paradise, all you were missing was the rest of the Avengers.
Speaking of...
"Where's everyone else?" you asked Nat.
"They're back on Earth dealing with the exposure of the Accords," Natasha answered. She raised an eyebrow. "You know anything about that?"
"Eh--definitely not." You smiled at her. "I'm glad you came, though."
She smiled back. "Well, someone has to talk some common sense into you and I'm pretty sure everyone else doesn't have any."
While you wanted to protest for the sake of your friends, you couldn't help but agree. When it came to common sense, Natasha was definitely the most capable. Of course, Rhodey was pretty good but you hadn't yet met him so you didn't see why he would come anyways. But at least since Rhodey was back on Earth, he could help deal with the whole Accords mess. You did feel a little guilty about the mess that you left behind when exposing the Accords but it was better than the Avengers being split apart and half of them becoming fugitives.
You took a bite of your food, allowing the robust flavors to invade your thoughts so you could stop yourself before you started stressing again. For most of the meal you were busy stuffing your mouth, surprising yourself at your own hunger.
Thor's voice shook you out of your food-focused haze. "Ah, Lady (y/n) the healing from earlier typically causes the patient to be extremely hungry afterwards. I'm glad to see you eating and healthy." He smiled at you, grin bright and cheery.
You took a moment to swallow your food before smiling back. "About the healing, it's amazing! I don't know what kind of treatments the healers did but they're incredible!"
"Of course they are," Loki scoffed. "We're not some Midgardian hospital."
"Don't diss the hospitals," you said with a frown. "There's a lot of people who work really hard there to save lives."
Loki was silent for the rest of the meal, but his gaze never once left you. He still couldn't quite understand you. Typically humans were easy enough to figure out, but you were puzzling. You seemed to be careless and cheery like some brainless nincompoop but you were much more clever than he initially had given you credit for. You had the eyes of someone who knew more than they should and he couldn't figure out why.
You had told Loki that Thor looked up to him but you said it happened on Sakaar, a garbage planet far too irrelevant to be worthy of Loki's presence. And he hadn't forgotten when you'd told him that Asgard would be destroyed and he should flee to Earth. You talked as if you knew the future.
That wasn't possible, though.
It wasn't that telling the future was impossible, he knew of Asgardians who could do it; but it was a very rare ability and you shouldn't be capable of it. You were a human. Not one of those super-powered mortals like that insufferable Captain but just the same as any other human.
But you weren't.
He couldn't say how, but you weren't normal.
~~
With your craving for food finally satiated, a new craving emerged. You desperately needed sleep. You were full, your mind was sleepy, and your body was sore.
You stood up from your chair at the dining table. "Thank you for the food, Thor-" you yawned, "-sorry, but where are our rooms?"
"Don't worry about it, Thor," Natasha said, standing up. "I'll show her to the rooms."
"Alright." Thor's smile turned fond. "I hope you rest well, Lady (y/n)."
"Thanks, Thor." You sent him a sleepy smile. "G'night Thor and Loki." You waved to them as you left, following Natasha back through the cavernous halls.
You were too tired to take note of the ridiculously large bedroom and instead just threw yourself onto the fluffy comforter on the ginormous bed and sighed as you seemed to be enveloped by it. It was quite possibly the comfiest bed you'd ever laid on and you felt your body relax subconsciously.
Natasha smiled at your drowsy movements, unable to deny her soft spot for you. "Good night, babe. Sleep good."
"Thank you, Nat," you murmured. "You sleep good too..."
And just like that, you were already asleep.
Natasha sighed at the way you were laying on the bed, half your legs hanging off because you hadn't thrown yourself far enough onto the bed. Not to mention the way your face was smushed into the pillows; she was almost worried you'd suffocate.
A loud snore ripped her out of her worrying, making her let out a soft laugh. She approached your sleeping form, pushing your legs all the way onto the bed and adjusting the blankets around you. She smiled at your content expression, placing a soft kiss on your forehead.
It'd been a while since she'd seen you this relaxed, far too long in fact.
With that, she left the room, closing the door behind her.
~~
You took a deep breath in, the fragrant flowers around you making the crisp air smell like spring. You reached out and touched the crimson petal of a large flower, marveling at the unfamiliar plant.
Over half the plants you had encountered while strolling through the garden were new to you, leaving you convinced that they didn't exist back on Earth. Just like normal flowers, there was a large variety of colors and shapes, but unlike normal flowers, none of them seemed the least bit wilted. Not to mention the vibrancy of each and every flower, the colors striking and entrancing.
You continued your walk through the large garden, taking a moment every now and then to stop and look at a particular flower. At some point, you reached a bench that was beneath the shade of a large tree. You sat down, gaze going back to the scenic landscape that surrounded you. At one edge of the garden was the palace, although it was hard to look at with the afternoon sun bouncing bright rays off the golden palace.
You looked down, eyes landing on the two scars in your upper arm.
They weren't very large but the raised skin was definitely noticeable. Although, considering what had happened, it was a miracle that all you'd ended up with was two nickel sized scars in your arm and one on your side. The fourth claw that had hit you had cut you but when it was healed no scar remained.
Looking up, you almost shit yourself, noticing the deity who had just appeared beside you.
"What the fuck, Loki. Who do you think you are, Batman?" You said flatly, your momentary shock fading. "You could've said something; after all, you never seem to have a problem with talking."
"Perhaps I just wanted to see your reaction," Loki sniffed haughtily, his pretentious expression fading when he saw you were grinning. "What? Why are you smiling like an oaf?"
"So what you're saying is that you came out here just because you wanted to see me-" you put a hand over your heart, "-that's so nice of you, Loki!" You were teasing him, but you were happy that he had come out to see you. He seemed to have some sort of fondness for you and you were a Loki simp so of course you were grinning that he'd come just to see you.
He spluttered. "What are you, deluded? Why would I concern myself with an insignificant mortal?"
Even to your ears it sounded like he was trying to convince himself.
You pat him on the back. "Don't worry, hotstuff. I won't tell anyone.
"What does that even mean?" Loki huffed. "You humans and your absurd slang."
"Hotstuff? Oh." You had just assumed he knew what it meant but that was probably stupid on your part because he wasn't from earth. "It just means like, attractive person, I guess? That's the best description I can think of."
Now he looked smug again. "So, you think I am attractive?"
"Duh," you deadpanned.
Loki's face flushed, seeming shocked toward your easy admittance.
"That doesn't mean you aren't a smug asshole sometimes," you added. "But it's cool, at least you're funny."
He was indignant. "Take that back! I am a king and you should give me the respect that comes with that title!"
"As far as I'm concerned, being a king doesn't automatically make you deserving of anybody's respect. You still have to work for it, just like everyone else." You dragged a finger on the stone armrest before meeting his eyes. "All jokes aside, I hope you remember my warning."
Loki stiffened, face going to neutral. "Your preposterous claims that Asgard will be destroyed?
"I know how it sounds but I'm telling the truth." You could see the skepticism in his eyes and you sighed, knowing that if you didn't manage to convince him soon, you'd have to tell him something. "You know how you called me a 'fortune-teller'? You weren't completely off. I know some things I shouldn't and I'm trying to change them. Please, you don't have to trust me, but can you just keep my words in mind?"
Loki had known there was something off about you, even if you had tried to deny it up until now. From your answers when he'd first encountered you, to the warnings you'd given him, and the way you always were so relaxed in his presence. You'd proved time and time again that you knew a lot about the things he'd done and yet you still acted like he was an old friend.
And now you were admitting that you weren't normal, that you knew more than you should.
He knew he shouldn't, but he believed you. "I will keep your warning in mind but be forewarned, I will figure out how you know the things you do."
You gulped, the first time you'd seemed to take his words seriously. You had admitted to knowing things that weren't possible for you to know. If he ever figured out the truth...well, you didn't think you could handle going back.
~~
"How was the garden?" Natasha asked as Thor led you, Peter, and her across the rainbow bridge.
"It was...interesting," you managed, unsure of how to answer her given your conversation with Loki.
"I bet it was," Peter's eyes gleamed. "We're on an alien planet! Think of all the different plants and animals and--gosh I wish I had woken up."
You ruffled his hair. "C'mon, Pete, you needed the rest."
The four of you entered the dome, a person awaiting you there. You almost gasped, recognizing who it was immediately.
Heimdall.
"This is where we part ways," Thor said. "I am glad you are better now, Lady (y/n)."
"Thanks, Thor. But why aren't you coming with us?"
He smiled. "I have some matters to resolve with my brother."
You, Natasha, and Peter all said your goodbyes to him, Peter almost as starstruck by Thor as you had been the first time you'd met him.
Then Heimdall opened the Bifrost and took you all home.

With friends like you....
Steve Rogers x Reader, Steve x Nat, Reader x Bruce, Bucky Barnes x Reader
Chapter 2
Y/N woke up early and went for a morning walk with Bucky, like they had every day in Wakanda. After a shower and breakfast, she tried to call Steve but he didn't answer. They went to the marketplace to look around on the way to the dressmaker to pick up their clothes for the party and had lunch.
She spent the rest of the day trying to get her hair and makeup just right while trying to push her anxiety down. She felt like something was off with Steve but she didn't know what or how to help him fix it. Or if he even wanted her help. She knew he was Captain America and had many responsibilities but she felt like she was no longer a priority to him. Bucky tried to reassure her but he didn't know Steve that well anymore and many things had changed.
When Steve still didn't answer or return her calls and didn't show up to escort her to the celebration, Y/N went on Bucky's arm. She looked beautiful in her Asgardian robes and the only thing Bucky could think of when he first saw her was how lucky Steve was.
The entire town was lit up and alive with people and music. There were multiple bonfires to stave off the cold, people singing and dancing, little plays honoring Thor, Loki and Valkyrie who saved them from Hela and groups huddled around story tellers. Y/N looked through the crowds until she finally found Steve arguing with Nat. She couldn't hear what they said and Nat left as soon as she walked up.
Steve looked angry until he saw her "Sweetheart, there you are. I've missed you" he pulled her into a hug.
She looked at him concerned "Is everything alright? You and Nat looked pretty heated"
"What? Oh Nat? That was nothing, she just left to find Bruce." He waved it off and led her to a tavern that was serving Asgardian mead and punch, getting 3 cups, 2 of the mead for him and Bucky and a cup of punch for her.
Steve held her hand as they walked around, looking at the dancers and plays. Y/N saw a group of couples dancing and wanted to dance too but was afraid to ask Steve as he still seemed a little off. While they stopped to watch the dancers she tried to imitate their steps and a soft colorful mist surrounded her.
Bucky was entranced. She was beautiful on her own but with the music and light surrounding her while she danced was mesmerizing. At least in Bucky's eyes, Steve was annoyed by her.
"Why are you doing that here? You don't know if everyone here is trustworthy and you look ridiculous, like a little kid trying to act like the adults. It's embarrassing"
Steve snapped at her.
Y/N looked at Steve with tears in her eyes "I'm so sorry, I didn't do it on purpose. It just happens when I'm happy and have music around"
He looked down at her "And now you're going to cry like a baby. Grow up, Y/N."
She sniffled and tried to rein in her tears "I'm sorry. I'll be more careful"
Steve smiled at her but it didn't reach his eyes "I know sweetheart, we just have to be careful with so many people around" he kissed her on the cheek and looked past her "I have to take care of something, I'll be back in a while. Keep Buck company." And quickly walked away.
Bucky smiled at her shyly "I like the lights and colors, they're, I mean you're beautiful. We could dance if you like"
He took her to the center of the dancers and they both tried to follow along, with some help, and the mist of light returned as she smiled and danced with Bucky. He knew he was falling for her but kept reminding himself she was Steve's girl, even if he wasn't being a good boyfriend right now.
Y/N was feeling something for Bucky as well. She could feel herself starting to fall for him but stopped herself. He was her boyfriends best friend and she loved Steve. She would never hurt him like that, even if he was kind of a jerk sometimes.
When they were worn out from dancing they started walking around and meeting all kinds of people. They met a man named Peter and his pet raccoon along with a blue woman, a green woman and a walking tree.
The tree introduced himself, at least thats what she thought he was doing when he told her "I am Groot!"
She smiled at him "I am Y/N and he is Bucky"
The raccoon was checking out Bucky's arm "How much for the arm?"
Bucky looked surprised that it spoke to him "What do you mean? You can't have my arm"
Rocket pushed "No seriously, I'll pay you for that arm"
Bucky shook his head "You're crazy. I'm not selling my arm to you."
Rocket sneered "You gotta sleep sometime."
Y/N was concerned about their disagreement so grabbed Bucky's other arm and led him away.
They ran into Bruce standing alone staring into one of the bonfires. She gently touched his arm "Hey Bruce. Are you ok? I thought you'd be catching up on time with Nat"
Bruce shook himself out of his daze and looked at her, he smiled "Hi Y/N. I've been spending time with Nat since last night. She had something to talk to Steve about. Those two never seem to be able to take a break from Avenger business."
She nodded "They always seem to have business to handle. Steve went off awhile ago so I've just been keeping Bucky company."
Thor came up to them "Ah, Lady Y/N. You look lovely, like a goddess of Asgard but where is your captain? How could he leave you looking like that"
She giggled "Thank you Thor. I love these robes so beautiful and comfortable. It even has pockets.
Steve is off working on Avenger business with Nat or Tony or something. I don't know, he's always busy.
Bucky and I are enjoying the celebration. You Asgardians sure know how to party"
Thor laughed "You've not seen anything yet my lady. If you see your captain please tell him I'm looking for him."
"Of course"
They spent hours walking around, eating, drinking and dancing. They watched a play about Hela destroying Asgard, ate a local dessert with meringue and vanilla layered cake that had a name she couldn't pronounce.
When midnight passed Y/N started getting tired from all the activity. She turned to Bucky "I'm getting tired. Maybe we should find Steve before I go to bed."
Bucky's face fell, he was having such a wonderful time with her. The light aura that she made without even thinking was so soothing to him, her scent and laugh calmed him, he didn't want the night to end. Bucky knew it was wrong to think about Steve's girl like that but Steve wasn't even here appreciating what he had.
Bucky was annoyed at how Steve had reprimanded her for her lights and treated her like a child. He didn't think it was right but it wasn't his place to say anything.
"Of course doll, it's getting late. Let's go find that punk"
They headed towards the buildings where everyone was sleeping, looking all over for Steve. They found Bruce, who was looking for Nat and searched together.
As they reached the buildings they stopped to decide where to look next and Bucky heard moaning, like someone was in pain.
"Stop! I hear something like someone is hurt."
Y/N stopped and focused, she could hear it too. "I hope it's nothing serious"
They followed the sound, hoping to help whoever was hurt when they heard a shout "Fuck! Captain, more, harder! m'so close."
"Yeah, Widow? That pretty pussy gonna cum all over my fat cock? Want me to fill you up with my cum? Are you my dirty cumslut? Say it, bitch!"
"Yes Steve! Fuck sorry, yes Captain fill my whore cunt. I'm your dirty cumslut! I need your cum! Please! YES!Fuck!! Aaahhhhhhh!"
"That's right you nasty whore! She'll never be as good as you. I don't care about her or him or anyone else, I'm not giving this pussy up for anything. I'll never stop fucking you."
Y/N felt her eyes filling with tears. She looked at Bucky "Is that? No, it can't be. Steve wouldn't-"
She was interrupted by a growl next to her and turned to look at Bruce, seeing bits of green around his face.
He roared "Natasha? What did you do?"
Bucky looked at them, panicked "How do we prevent a scene?"
Y/N wiped her tears and looked at Bruce again "Bruce? It's ok. Please stay calm"
Bruce looked at her with anger and tears in his eyes "Stay calm? How can I stay calm" as his clothes started to rip.
Y/N started to sing. A lullabye that she didn't even remember knowing but the words just came out, as did a gentle kaleidoscope of colors around her. Her voice started out tremulous but became stronger as she remembered the song. She took Bruce's hands and looked in his eyes.
It worked, Bruce calmed down until the two of them were on the ground, holding each other and crying.
Bucky went into the building to give Steve a piece of his mind. He saw Nat getting up to fix her clothes and Steve putting himself away. He looked up "Hey Buck. What's up?"
Bucky growled "Are you kidding me? What's up? How about you're fucking Nat while I'm keeping your girlfriend entertained"
Steve shook his head "It's no big deal. Just sex."
Bucky hit him in the face and knocked him down. "Seriously? You know she heard. Her and Bruce are outside crying on each other's shoulders. How could you do this to her?"
Steve stood up and wiped himself off. "It's fine. I'll just talk to her." And went outside.
Y/N and Bruce had calmed their tears and there was quite a crowd built up. Bruce helped her up and hugged her.
Steve strode up to them. "Alright Banner, hands off my girl" and tried to pull her away.
Y/N jerked away from him "Don't touch me after you just fucked her"
"Language sweetheart" he reprimanded
She glared at him "Are you fucking kidding me? You were having sex with another woman and you're gonna talk about my language. What about your language with her?"
Steve laughed it off "That was heat of the moment sweetheart."
"How could you do this to me? And to Bruce? You said you loved me"
"I do love you but you're not ready for sex and I have needs. It's just sex, just a release. I don't love her." He tried to explain.
"But you spend every spare minute with her" She was shaking with rage and her beautiful light mist turned ugly, with harsh colors.
"How long?"
"I told you it doesn't matter. It doesn't mean anything."
The colors turned darker "HOW LONG! Tell me how long this has been going on!"
Steve sighed "Since before I met you. Nat and I have always used each other for stress relief. That's all it is. You're making a scene for nothing. Stop those lights, you're drawing attention."
"Fuck you, Steve! Some golden boy you are. I wonder what your fans would think of how you use people and lie. I can't believe I ever thought I loved you."
She paused, breathing heavily until something occurred to her "That's why you sent me to be with Bucky, isn't it? To get me out of the way so you could be with her? Isn't it?"
Steve looked down and his lack of response told him everything she needed to know.
"Why even court me when you had her? Was it some kind of game? Did you have a bet on when I would put out? Did you cuddle and laugh about the stupid mutant girl and how you fooled her into believing you loved her?" She ranted.
Steve looked up "But sweetheart, I do lo-"
She interrupted "Don't you dare say that. You've spent more time away from me, constantly coming up with excuses for why you couldn't see me. Most of the time we do spend together you act like you're embarrassed of me and what I am. I guess I was easier to control than she was"
She turned to Nat "I thought you were my friend, Romanoff. Like sisters, remember? You helped push us together and you've been fucking him behind my back all this time? Some friend you are"
Nat opened her mouth to speak but Y/N held her hand up. "There's nothing you can say or do that would make this any better. I can't believe I ever trusted you." She looked at Steve "I hope you both enjoyed playing the stupid mutant girl that Strucker destroyed." And ran away crying.
Nat tried to get to Bruce but he pushed her away "Leave me alone Natasha. I don't want Steve's leftovers, you're too damaged." Nat just stood there , her eyes filling up with tears, watching him walk away in the same direction as Y/N.
Bucky wanted to kick Steves ass but decided that could wait "We're not done here" he spat at him "but I'm more concerned about Y/N right now" and bolted after her and Bruce.
Y/N ran until her lungs ached and then just dropped to the ground and cried. When Steve and Nat saved her she thought they must be angels. She had lived in Struckers cell longer than she had lived out of it and had resigned herself to a life in chains. Then she saw those blue eyes and he saved her, took her in and started helping repair the damage that had been done. He helped her believe she could have a real life, love and family but it was all a lie.

hi and welcome to my ted talk about the latest episodes of what if, please read through 💙(2)
The children of Odin are clearly better off without him. I mean, look at her!! (she actually reminds me of a Valkrie at a first look 🤔)
Tumblr media
"Having your crown, you threw away your sword, forgetting that she was your own daughter"
"You cannot defend darkness with darkness. Only light." AND SHE DIDDD. I JUST LOVE HOW BADASS SHE WAS THIS EPISODE.
In this universe, Hela is not the godess of death anymore, because she doesn't value the same ideas she used to before learning the light part of life. But I wonder, since it hasn't been said in the episode, what is she the godess of now? Maybe she kept the death part, but took on life too. The godess of life and death. It comes full circle. Or perhaps, the Godess of Hope. Because, even though death comes to all, you can have hope in life.
And oh, the end. Of course that for an animated series that doesn't go a lot over 30 min/ episode, you're gonna have an open end.
Which is why I love it! Not only the path Hela undergoes, along with her transformation, is crazy and probably doesn't happen a lot of the time, but it also has huge consequences. It is very likely that in this universe, her and her team prevented the rise of Thanos, citting him from his roots. Let's raise a glass or two for s time where the avengers are alive, and Thor and Loki grow up closer together, not apart. 😌
Very important!!!☝🏻 everyone say thank you to Cate Blanchett for her service in voicing Hela once again, it wouldn't have been the same without her.
That being said, thanks for reading <3

Avengers Bingo Masterlist
.
Fluffy white clouds that resembled little balls of cotton had scattered across the skies as the day began, reflecting your mood in a way.
Given that you were literally the one in control of it, you intended on keeping it that way as you went about your work in the farm you had built for yourself, away from the city’s bustle and prying eyes of Midgardians.
Your life was peaceful here, with your horses and farm animals. You seldom felt alone, but there were days when loneliness crept up and kept you up at night.
Those were the days you missed home.
Asgard.
That was when your mind travelled to the past, your life on Asgard - your home, the time you spent with your loved ones, especially Thor Odinson.
He was your best friend growing up, both him and his brother Loki, along with Fandrall and Sif. You would be out for days going on adventures across the Nine Realms, spend hours with your friends in merriment and mirth.
That was until the events of Ragnarök.
Hela had destroyed your home, and you had to watch Asgard burn down to ashes. A day still etched in your memory that the worst day of your life.
But you were so wrong.
The worst happened later when the mad Titan snapped his fingers and let half the world turn to dust. You had miraculously survived, and so had Thor.
Though the events had left Thor beyond heartbroken, he was in anguish no one could even dream of. Losing everything and everyone he loved, his home, his best friend, his family, you.
For the longest time Thor had lived with the fact that you had died on Asgard. He couldn’t live with himself knowing he had failed, not once but twice.
After bringing everybody back and destroying Thanos, Thor had done nothing but search the ends of the universe for you. That was until with Darcy’s help, he found the anomalies in weather coming in from somewhere on Midgard.
It had to be you.
As you fed your horses, there was a gradual gathering of grey clouds up in the sky, making you frown at the change in weather.
A distant rumble sounded through before you saw the all too familiar rainbow bridge flashing in the field not too far from where you were.
“It can’t be.”
You muttered under your breath, shaking your head in disbelief as the cloud of dust and leaves settled, revealing the fifteen-hundred-year-old Asgardian standing tall and proud.
“Still no regard for lawn maintenance, I see. I thought you grew tired of Midgard.” You called out, unable to control the wide grin that formed on your face as you approached Thor.
“I was, but believe me, I will never be tired of you.”
He gave you an earnest smile, longing hid behind his cerulean eyes as he outstretched his arms and enveloped you in a hug, your body automatically melting against his taller frame.
His nose buried in your hair, your familiar scent overwhelmed his senses, making him realise how much he had missed you these past few years. All those years he spent in torment not knowing if you were alive or dead.
“You give the best hugs.”
You murmured quietly, laying your cheek over his heart, noticing the way it was racing and beating excitedly against your ear. His metal chest plate was cold against your flushed cheek as you hugged for longer than you would normally do.
“I like your new costume; you look very cute.” You giggled, pulling back to look up at the demi-God, your eyes dancing with humour.
“Are you making fun of me?”
“Oh, I wouldn’t dare.”
There was yet another low rumbling that echoed from the clouds up above, your smirk widened at Thor’s antics as you watched the skies darken.
“Same old tricks?”
You grinned hearing his huff of dismissal at your teasing. Stepping back, he outstretched his arm and summoned the Stormbreaker, the usual crackle of lightning now amplified as electricity surged through the skies and the weapon landed in Thor’s hand.
“Show off.”
Shaking your head, you made yourself hover off the ground and looked up, making the grey clouds swirl around you in a dramatic fashion. The elements spoke to you, an unsaid understanding you had since you were little. As you grew up, you were taught to respect them, get to know them on a deeper level, and eventually control them to your will.
Your powers were similar but yet distinctly different from Thor’s. You missed the times you and him spent hours competing against each other when you were kids. You were always the one who beat him, and he would sulk around until he could prove his prowess elsewhere.
But you noticed Thor’s powers had grown stronger over the years; the resistance was tougher than you remembered.
“Not the only show off around here.” He smirked; his eyes had turned softer as you descended back to the ground.
The thundering clouds quieted down as you set foot on the soil once again, the sky silently dispersing into normalcy. Thor didn’t speak, though his eyes revealed a different story, one wanting to let it all out. Decades of what had gone by, what he had endured, what he had lost.
“Come inside, I’ll make you a cup of tea.”
You suggested, tilting your head towards your house.
“Or coffee? I have grown to like that drink.”
You chuckled at him, nodding in agreement as you began taking strides towards the porch, Thor following suit, placing Stormbreaker against the porch steps carefully.
The interior of the house spoke of you, only you. It was warm and inviting, cosy and comfortable, Thor smiled as he looked around the space. Bookshelves filled with your favourite novels, plush pillows and blankets thrown over the couch, wooden horses and other collectibles filled the space with a familiar vibe that was distinctly yours.
“Charming. This is a very nice house, (Y/N).”
Thor’s towering presence in it made the ceilings appear lower than they were, then again, most Midgardian homes weren’t meant to accommodate a tall, fifteen-hundred-year-old God of Thunder.
“Thank you. Please make yourself at home, I’ll be right with you with our coffees.”
The aroma of fresh ground coffee wafted through the living room, making Thor hum in delight and follow you into the kitchen where you stood, leaning against the wooden island counter.
As you took out the carafe out of the machine, Thor promptly grabbed two mugs and held them out for you, standing close enough to smell your hair, a whiff of wild flowers filled his nostrils before you held up the mug for him.
Muttering a ‘thank you’, he following you as you walked out to the couch, perching on the side that held a knit blanket thrown over the back, waiting for him to join you.
“So, what brings you back to Earth, Thor?”
You.
It was a simple answer. One he didn’t have to think twice about, but had to because he wasn’t sure how you would react.
“I had to make sure you were okay; I was unaware of your whereabouts until one day I found you. I had to come see you, (Y/N). I have missed you terribly these past few years.”
His honest confession took you by surprise, your mouth opened to reply but no words came out as you saw Thor nurse the mug in his hands before glancing up at you, his electric blues were sombre yet hopeful.
Placing your coffee on the table, you turned to face him, clasping his hand in yours and giving it a gentle squeeze.
“I missed you too, Thor. More than you’d know. I-I was lost after Ragnarök, I didn’t know if I belonged.”
You began, your voice soft as your throat constricted as your mind filled with past memories of your home.
“So was I.”
“You saved everyone, everyone you could and lost so much, Thor. I am so sorry I wasn’t there.” Your voice cracked at the end as you moved closer to him on the couch, placing your other hand on his thigh and rubbing it soothingly.
“It matters not. You are here now, and you are safe. I wouldn’t have been able to forgive myself if you weren’t-”
It was instinctive, your arms went around his neck and you hugged him, effectively quieting the rest of his sentence. Thor buried his face in your neck and held onto you, his strong arms melding you against him as you heard his breathing turn uneven, quiet, unshed tears now falling down his cheeks and mixing with your hair.
“It’s alright, Thor. I’m here, you’re okay.”
Your hand caressed his back while the other found purchase in his hair, your own eyes brimming with tears as you hugged him, trying your best to ease his pain.
He pulled back reluctantly, smoothing down hair that fell out of place against your forehead, his face inches away from yours as he managed a smile for you.
“We’ve known each other for so long, (Y/N). I can’t imagine my life-myself-without you anymore. And I really don’t want to.”
Thor’s eyes searched yours earnestly, yearning for you to say you felt the same.
It was true.
Your feelings mirrored his. You had always had something more than a solid friendship, something stronger that you both felt. It was always brushed off under fear or losing the other and ruining what you had.
Your thumbs caressed the apples of his stubbled cheeks as you touched your foreheads for a brief moment, tilting your head to capture his lips in a soft kiss that would convey everything that words would fail to.

Mine- Chapter 1: Sakaar.
Tumblr media
Summary and masterlist
Chapter 01: Sakaar
Pairing: Loki x OFC
Warnings: Smut, graphic description of smut, Minors DNI, possible spoilers of Thor: Ragnarok.
I was tied up in a metallic chair, which was moving in a kind of magnetic tape, with this stupid obedience disk on my neck, transported to meet this crazy man who called himself ‘Grandmaster’. I didn’t know where in the Nine Realms I was, I didn’t think there was any information about survivors who had been thrown out of the Bifröst. I didn’t care much either. Loki was gone, Thor was gone and Hela was on Asgard probably ruining it to the ground. I couldn’t believe my eyes when my chair stopped moving: after all that darkness, there was music and colours and laughter everywhere. I blinked several times to adjust to my new surroundings. When I was ready to look around me, Loki was standing in front of me, a glint of concern in his green eyes. Before I was able to say or do something, a strange voice appeared out of nowhere.
“Do you two know each other?” I turned my head from Loki to see an old man dressed in a colourful robe. Immediately, I didn’t like him. I didn’t know why.
“Yes, Grandmaster,” Loki interfered before I was able to say something. “Quite frankly, Åse is my wife. Would you be so kind as to release her?” I looked at Loki surprised but he told me with just one look to shut up and follow along. I bit down my lower lip as I always did when I was nervous.
“You haven’t mentioned a wife in all the weeks you’ve been here, Loki. And you seemed fine to interact with…us,” The old man’s eyes shone. Loki changed his weight from one foot to the other.
“I am sorry, Grandmaster. I thought my wife had passed away and I was mourning. I did not know how to cope with the pain, I apologise for my behaviour,” Loki was using his best charisma and lying skills and it seemed that he had that old man wrapped around his finger. Not surprising at all. “But, please, do not punish my wife because of me. Would you be so kind as to release her? I will be forever grateful,” Loki looked at him through his eyelashes and I had to admit that even I would have given him whatever he desired.
“I will release her…under the condition that you show me that you two are married for real,” Loki nodded and looked at me while I was being released from that chair.
Those who didn’t know Loki as I did, would believe in his full of love face as he was looking at me. However, even when we had a lot of history together, I knew he was buffing. He didn’t love me, not as I love him. And I was with Thor…or at least were. What happened to him? If Loki and I were alive, then maybe he had a chance. It didn’t matter, though. He would probably go back to Asgard, try to kill Hela all by himself, and get killed in the process. I needed to survive here and it seemed that Loki had a plan.
We were both taken to another room and the guards that had accompanied us closed the door after us. We were alone in a blue room, with nothing else than a bed there. After a long sigh, Loki grabbed me and hugged me tight against his firm and lean body. I sighed too and hugged him tightly. I let some tears go down my cheeks and Loki caressed my long red hair which was tied up in a long braid. I always wore my hair braided when I was in a battle.
“What do we do now, Loki? Thor probably went back to Asgard to fight Hela by himself, and we’re here…” I sobbed while speaking in a whisper.
“I know, Åse. I would have never imagined that you would end up here, too. And now we have to…” Loki left the sentence hanging in the air, whispering as well.
“What do we have to do?” I asked, looking at him confused. He made a face. He pulled my face closer to him and left his lips next to my ear.
“I convinced the Grandmaster not to look at us while we are here, but I am pretty sure he is listening to everything we say. Except for this, since we are whispering, of course,” Loki pulled back a little, “My love, I am so happy to be with you again,” he said in a loud voice. “I thought that we were going to be reunited in Valhalla,” after saying that, he once again put his lips next to my ear. “The Grandmaster will be expecting us to have sex soon.”
“Is that what he meant when he said we needed to show him we were truly married?” I asked in a whisper as well, leaning into him.
“Yes. We can fake it, but I am sure that he will know it somehow. I’ll leave it up to you, Åse. You know that I’m always up to have sex with you, but if you want to fake it, I’ll respect you.”
“Let’s do it.”
I didn’t give it much thought because I knew that I was going to back away if I did. Loki may be hedonistic, but he would never force me to have sex with him. I knew him since we were nothing but children, we had our ups and downs -mostly downs-, but I knew he was a good person. Even when he was being mind-controlled by Thanos, he didn’t hurt me as much as he could have.
I walked towards the bed, glimmering away my clothing with my seiðr. Even when I was the Goddess of the Elements, I knew how to use basic seiðr since Queen Frigga had taught both Loki and me everything. I sat on the bed, waiting for Loki to join me.  I looked at him with one raised eyebrow when he just stood where he was looking at my naked body. We have seen each other in all kinds of nakedness, we even had our first time having sex together. That was long ago, but still.
Loki walked towards me getting rid of his new leather armour and cape with his seiðr as well. He laid on top of me in the bed, supporting his weight on his hands that were at each side of my head and gave me one last look, trying to analyse me with his piercing green eyes. And he was able to do it: he could do it since we were children. He could read me like a book.
After a few seconds, he joined our lips in a heated kiss. I couldn’t help but moan at his kissing technique and he answered with another soft moan. I erased every thought from my mind and focused only on feeling. Loki is the best lover I ever had, so I was completely sure that I would be having a good time if I just let myself go.
Loki let one of his hands wander in my body, touching every spot he knew that got me going. His cold hands on my bare skin again got me shivering as his tongue entered my mouth and played with mine. He pinched one of my nipples with two of his fingers making me moan. Loki let my mouth go as he kissed my neck, my collarbone, and my breastbone until he reached my other breast. He licked, sucked and bit my nipple softly while his fingers played with the other.
“Is this foreplay really necessary?” I asked him in a whisper, moaning again when he sucked my nipple harder.
“Yes, I don’t want you to be pained. Maybe you don’t believe me, but I care about you, Åse,” Loki answered me while his hand left my nipple and went down my body until he reached my core which was already wet. He found my clit in no time and started to rub it, making me moan again.
“Oh, Loki, you are the best lover I’ve ever had,” I didn’t intend to say that out loud but it was out of my mouth before I could think about it. He looked at me for a second before chuckling. His lips were next to my ear but his hand didn’t stop his circling motions on my clit.
“Is that so? Better than my dear brother?” He whispered that stupid question and decided that was the best moment to put two of his long fingers inside me and curl them, rubbing my g-spot with every rub.
“Yes, Loki! The best!” I answered arching my back and moaning at his touch.
He knew I was completely at his mercy, he could ask anything of me and I would have given it to him. I didn’t lie though: he is a better lover than Thor. But I didn’t want to think about that. Luckily for me, Loki didn’t push the matter any further. What he did push was his fingers inside me and then he added a third one. I looked at him and he just chuckled before removing his fingers from me. I couldn’t help but whimper at the loss even if I was begging for it. Loki looked at me intently while he entered me in one swift motion. I moaned loudly and threw my head backwards the most that the pillow would allow me. Loki bit down my collarbone to hide his moan, but I heard it anyway. I loved his moans, they were so deep and guttural as if I woke up the animal inside him. I put my legs up and crossed them behind his back as my nails scratched his upper back. He started to move, leaving only the tip of his cock inside me and then thrusting back with full force, hitting my g-spot. Oh, how I missed the way he fucked me. Nobody has ever fucked me the way he did. Loki was a master of sex. Even during our first time, he knew exactly what to do.
He thrust inside me with expertise and soon enough both of us were moaning loudly losing all the sanity we had left. It was always like that when we united our bodies. It wasn’t long until I was feeling the tale tell sign in my ankles that I was about to cum. The tickling sensation in my ankles went up my legs until it reached my belly. I warned him but he kept going until I reached my climax with a loud moan of his name. He followed me a few moments later and I felt his hot seed filling me. My body felt wobbly after such an intense orgasm. Loki rolled out to lay beside me on the bed while he stabilised his breathing.
“I don’t think that will be enough,” He whispered turning his head to look at me. I looked back at him confused.
“Hum, thank you?” Loki chuckled.
“No, dear, I don’t mean that. You know that having sex with you is great no matter the circumstances,” I rolled my eyes, even when I knew he was absolutely right.
“Then, what is it?”
“I don’t think that the Grandmaster will believe us with just sex. We will have to pretend around him and at all the parties. Just follow me, alright? I will find a way to get his security access codes and take us out of here,” I nodded.
“I believe you,” And I did. Even after everything we went through, I really believed in him. Even when nobody else did.
“I don’t think he’ll ask us to have sex anymore. Surely to join his orgies, but if we behave like a married couple then we have every excuse to decline,” he gave me a side glance. “Selv om du ser ut til å kose deg masse med meg,” I punched him lightly on the shoulder while I felt the heat going up to my cheeks.
“Stop praising yourself, menace. It’s just sex,” I shrugged.

After we had been for some weeks in this chaotic place, another surprise came up. Thor appeared tied down in one of those chairs. Loki and I have been the whole time convincing everybody that we were as in love as possible. The Grandmaster didn’t ask us to have sex again, but we needed to pretend in front of him. That is why I was looking at my boyfriend completely relieved that he was alive, holding his brother’s hand and arm. Thor looked at us with confusion in his blue eyes and I just shook my head slightly.
Please, let it go, I begged even when I knew that he couldn’t hear me. He and I could never have that connection. Loki answered all the questions about Thor the Grandmaster asked him but did little to nothing to help his brother’s case. The God of Thunder was sent with the rest of the fighters as he was going to fight the Grandmaster’s big champion tomorrow and I asked for a private room with Loki. It wasn’t difficult to get one and once we were alone, I yelled at him so much that my vocal cords ended up hurting. I knew they didn’t get along for a long time now, but they were still brothers, for Norns’ sake. I knew that Thor was confident because he had never lost a fight in his whole life, but he couldn’t risk it. Not like that, when he was still mourning his father. One cannot make the right decisions when one is suffering from so much pain.
Loki heard all my yelling without saying a word and when I couldn’t speak anymore he sighed and projected us where Thor was. The blond was on his knees, praying for his father’s soul to reach Valhalla and we both joined him out of respect. It was no secret that neither Loki nor I were mourning the Allfather’s death, but Thor was really grieving. When the older finished praying, he and his brother started to bicker at each other until Loki’s projection was gone.
“Thor, don’t listen to him. Loki and I are working to get out of here, and you’ll come with us too, I promise,” I said when we left alone, kneeling in front of him but not touching him so my projection wouldn’t vanish.
“I trust you, Åse,” Thor answered me with a severe face. I bit down my lower lip.
“Do you?” I asked in a whisper, gnawing my lower lip again when I wasn’t talking.
“Yes, I do. Probably you had to do some things here that I won’t like, but it’s a survival game, I guess,” He shrugged. His cold attitude was worrying me.
“Thor, please tell me that you’re going to fight with all your might tomorrow.”
“When have you known me to back down?” he half-smiled at me. “Go now, nobody can see you here. I will be alright and then we both are going back to Asgard to kick my older sister’s ass,” I chuckled.
“Count me in. I may be an orphan, but you have a really strange family, have you noticed it?”
Thor chuckled and then reached out for me with his hand, making my projection disappear. When I came back to the private room Loki and I shared, he was nowhere to be seen. I sighed and went after him.

You weren't sure why you were going, you were certain you would die. But Asgard was your home, and you needed to try and save it if you could. Even if there was nothing there left for you.
You left soon after Loki's death, and so did Thor. You had no real reason to go back, so you stayed away. Asgard reminded you too much of all the things you had lost. All of your favorite areas held memories of you and Loki. Of the love formed, and faded, a love that you lost, regained, and then lost again.
But now, hearing that Odin was dead, and Hela, a daughter you never knew existed was taking over, and killing almost everyone. You had nothing left to fight for but Asgard, so here you were. You were sure Thor would be there, and that he would need all the help he could get.
You didn't make it far into Asgard before your ship was taken down by soldiers that appeared to be the living dead. You managed to fight them off and make it to the bridge, but what you found when you got there was more than you expected.
The remaining people of Asgard, cornered by the soldiers, many fighting for their lives, and to protect the others. But at the front of the crowd, some you did not know, along with Heimdal and-
"Loki?" You spoke to yourself, your voice startled and strained.
You were frozen you spot, until you heard a cry beside you. Looking you saw a young woman crouching in fear as a soldier raised their sword above her. Quickly striking, you killed the soldier before rushing through the crowd, slicing down Hela's soldiers as you went.
Your eyes stayed on Loki as you grew closer. Maybe it wasn't him? Maybe you just wanted it to be. But that armor, that hair.
As he spun around, slicing down an enemy, you saw his face full on. There was no mistaking it. It was him. He was alive. He lied to you. Again.
Your whole being erupted in emotion all contradicting one another, happiness, angry, relief, betrayal. Why would he do this again? Why did he make you think you lost him again. To be free from Odin's prison? To gain redemption on his last moment, no matter how false the moment was?
You didn't know what to feel, but your emotion pulled you towards him. You needed to hear his voice. See his eyes. He was right there, only a few feet away. Your eyes were torn from his as you spotted a soldier lunging at him from behind. Loki did not see him.
Reacting quickly, you lunged your sword through the back of the soldier, causing it to turn, slicing with a strong blow, you sliced the soldier down. And as the body crumpled in front of you, it revealed Loki.
He had turned in alarm when you attacked the soldier, saving him. And when the body fell, he expected to see Heimdall, or another Asgardian soldier standing there. But as your face appeared in front of him, his eyes widened and his heart palpitated.
Your eyes locked and he saw so many emotions pass through them. You were shocked, angry, sad. He felt guilt rocket through his chest. He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could he felt a sharp pain over his face.
It happened without you meaning it too, your anger came over you like a bolt of lightning, and you struck out and slapped him. Shock crossed his face for a second before you saw guilt replace it. He nodded softly "I deserved that."
Feeling an overwhelming relief wash over you, you stepped forward, pulling him into a hug. He froze, speaking softly. "But I don't know if I deserved that."
You pulled away from Loki, locking eyes. "We'll see." Suddenly, seeing a bolt of lightning towards the tower, you spotted Thor fighting someone you assumed to be Hela.
Loki watched you for a second before following your line of sight, seeing Thor with Hela. As Thor landed on the bridge, lighting surrounded him, you smiled in awe, his power had grown. Running past Loki, you rushed down the bridge, taking out soldiers as you went. Loki watched you for a moment before following you, fighting along side you. His eyes constantly found their way back to you, as he watched you fight. He was glad to see you, but guilt rocketed through him as he wondered how you must feel, because of him, again.
As the soldiers began to dwindle in front of you, you made your way towards Thor.
Thor looked at Loki "You're late."
"You're missing an eye."
Looking past him, Thor spotted you Thor called out "Y/n! When did you get here?"
You glanced at Loki, wondering how long Thor knew he was alive. "Just now."
Thor looked between the two of you before a woman in Valkyrie armor walked past you. "This isn't over."
Following her, the four of you stood on the bridge facing Hela as she approached.
"I think we should disband the Revengers." Thor said as he looked at the girl beside him.
"What the hell are the Revengers?" You asked confused, wondering how much you missed.
"Long story, you missed a lot." Thor responded.
You glancd over at Loki befre muttered. "Tell me about it."
You saw Loki look at you from your peripheral, but you kept your eyes on Hela.
"Hit her with a lightning blast" Loki said as he gestured at Hela.
"i just hit her with the biggest lightning blast in the history of lightning! It did nothing!"
"We just need to hold her off until everyone's on board." The woman said.
Thor shook his head, "It wont end there. The longer Hela's on Asgard, the more powerful she grows, and she hunts us down. We need to stop her here and now."
"So what do we do?"
"I'm not doing get help." Loki said.
You felt yourself almost smile through the confusion of his comment, having witnessed the "move" in the past. "I don't know, I wouldn't mind seeing that."
Loki looked at you, and you saw the edge of his lips curl.
Thor, looking back at the ship, sighed. "Asgards not a place, it's a people."
You frowned as you watched Thor turn to all of you. "Loki, this was never about stopping Ragnaok, this was about causing Ragnarok. Surtur's crown, the vault!" He shook his head. "It's the only way."
"Bold move brother, even more me." He turned to look at you, and you saw the invitation in his eyes.
Looking at Thor, you weren't sure what was about to happen, but you knew you needed to help. Turning, you ran alongside Loki towards a ship crash landed at the edge of the bridge.
Rushing into the ship, Loki quickly began to guide the creaking ship towards the city. You stared down at the fight below you, seeing Thor fighting Hela.
Through the panic and anxiety Loki was feeling about Thor's plan, he looked over at you, seeing you nervously looking out at Asgard.
"Where did you go?" Loki asked, causing you to look over at him. You frowned and he continued. "After what happened with the Dark Elves. I looked for you, after I...came back. But you were gone."
You felt your chest tightened a bit. "You mean you weren't purposefully going to let me think you were dead? Again?"
You saw him wince a bit, before he shook his head. "No. I- I wanted to tell you."
The ship rocked violently as you landed roughly outside the palace. You look at Loki. "I left, because I had nothing left worth staying for." Turning, you quickly ran out of the ship, Loki behind you, his eyes filled with guilt, but his mind full of determination.
Rushing into the vault, you looked around, watching as Loki grabbed Surturs helmet. Rushing past him, you ran past various items, and stopped at the resurrection flame. Turning, you saw Loki approaching.
Placing the helmet in the fire, Loki spoke as he stepped back. "With this flame, you are reborn."
Your eyes widened as the flame grew, covering the helmet. You stepped back as the helmet began to move and rise. A groan being heard from within the flame. Suddenly, Loki grasped your hand in his and pulled you away, as you began to run out of the palace.
Rushing back into the ship, you watched with impatience as Loki began to fly away. Hearing loud cracks, you looked out the window, to see the walls of the palace beginning to crack open, red fire beginning to spew out.
You watched in panic as the palace blew apart, the ship shaking as you just made it out of safe distance. You could hear Surturs voice bellowing out blow you, and you felt your heart beat painfully in your chest.
As you got further into the sky, Loki turned the ship. You felt relief flow through you as you saw the passenger ship escaping. Looking down below you, you saw Asgard begin to crumble. And as the planet grew more distant, you said a silent goodbye, knowing this was the last time you would ever see it.
And as it blew to pieces before you, you felt your body flinch and your heart ache. There was silence as Loki came to stand beside you, looking out at what used to be his home.
You felt tears well in your eyes, and slowly, you reached your hand over, and slipped it into Loki's. Loki looked down, seeing this, he smiled softly as he gripped your hand in his. You sniffled a bit before speaking softly. "I'm still mad at you."
He smiled at you, watching your profile. "I know."
Your eyes looked out at the black space around you. "We should get to the ship. Make sure everyone is okay."
Loki nodded as he watched you. "Or-"
You looked over at him. "Or?"
"Or we could leave. Be together again, finally. No more lies, no more death, just us." His voice was soft, and you could hear the truth in it. But you knew, as his eyes glanced past you and out the window, only for a second, that he was worried abut Thor. Even if he tried to hide it.
You smiled softly, your anger at him was faded, but not gone. You shook your head. "Not now. Not after this."
Loki let out a soft breath before nodding, knowing you were right. Looking down at your hands, he squeezed yours. "But maybe we can wait just a little longer." He looked back up at your eyes. "I have so much I need to say to you."
You took a deep breath, as you stared into his eyes. His were full of emotion, that you were sure reflected your own. You remembered what had happened before when you thought he died. He told you he loved you, and that he had never stopped. And in return, you told him the same.
Even now, after he lied to you again, you knew you still loved him. You always would, nothing could stop that now. You feared it would happen again. Maybe he would betray you again, lie again, fake his death again, but you knew your feelings would never fade.
And even if you did not know for sure what would happen in the future, you had him here, now, for the first time in a long time.
Stepping a little closer to him, your eyes still locked. He raised your hand and brought it to his chest. "I have more to make up for then I wish I did. And I caused you more pain than you ever deserved. I can never find true redemption for it, but, I hope. That maybe, you'll give me another chance, though I know I don't deserve it."
Part of you told you to turn away, to stop giving him chances, but the bigger part of you, your heart and soul, told you to stay with him. Because this last chance, might really be the last, and you don't want to lose it.
Reaching up, you placed your hand on his cheek, and his eyes fluttered closed for a moment as he pressed his face into your palm. "You know you are my biggest weakness. You always have been. So you know that I would give you as many chances as you asked for even if you continued to hurt me."
He smiled sadly at you, guilt evident in his gaze. "And I don't deserve them, or you. But you are my weakness too. And no matter how much...evil, or hatred, I have within me, you are the good in me. And you are always there, always stopping me from reaching the point of no return, because I know if I go that far, you wont be there. So I need you with me, always, to pull me back. Because though you are my weakness, you are also the strongest part of me. The voice in my head, the beat of my heart." He had your hand pressed flat against his chest. You could feel the rhythmic beat under neath, pressing against your hand, reminding you that he was really alive.
Stepping forward, you pressed your forehead against his, and you head him let out a shaky breath. "Promise you wont leave me again."
"I promise. I'm here. And I will stay here, with you. Forever."
xx End xx
Another abrupt ending I know lol, but I had a hard time with this, and it needed to end somewhere.

Loki's Kids I Want in the MCU
Ranking Loki's children in the Norse Mythology in the order I want to see them in the MCU. (There are a few that have already been in the MCU, albeit not canonically as Loki's children, so I'm going to rank them in the order I would like them to come back (or not).)
Sleipnir (8-legged horse): I want him the most. He has shown up in some of the comics that I read, so it's possible he has already made an appearance in the MCU and I just missed him. (And I'm getting mixed up with the comics.) But I want him to come (or come back), and I want it to be acknowledged that he is Loki's child, since none of Loki's mythical children that have shown up in the MCU have explicitly or canonically been Loki's children. One, Sleipnir's origin is the best myth. And two, as far as I know, the only one where Loki is explicitly the one to give birth to his child.
Fenrir (the wolf): We have seen him already, in Ragnarok. He fell off a waterfall, and then they blew up the planet. I don't have any theories on how he could still be alive, but I don't need one. He's still alive. I'm not looking him up on doesthedogdie dot com; he's still alive. He's a good boy. He's a good dog, he's adorable.
Jormangandr (the world serpent): I just like snakes, yo! And so does Thor and so does Loki! And Jormangandr is a big snake and I like him! And ultimately this is just the order of how I like animals, it goes sheep, dogs, snakes. And Loki didn't give birth to a sheep, so Sleipnir is taking that place.
(and 5.) Narfi and Vali (his children with Sigyn): I have mixed feelings about this. One, I want them to come, because it's interesting. I don't know how I feel about Sigyn showing up this late in the game, but Narfi and Vali can show up. That's fine. Problem with this is that one of them is enchanted by Odin to kill the other, and then that one's entrails are used to tie Loki up before he gets poisoned by the serpent right before Ragnarok. And that sucks. I don't want to watch that. I've already written it (Bring You Safely Home to Me), I don't need to watch it. So if they show up, I'm gonna be like Uh oh, we're in the endgame now. And not like Avengers: Endgame. How's Loki gonna get out of this one? (Spoiler alert: He does, but only at the very end of the world, and then he dies, like for real, for real.)
6. And last but not least, Hela. Because fuck Hela. I don't want her coming back. Cate Blanchett was gorgeous as Hela, and that was great, but I don't need her back. She was kind of meh as a villain, and ultimately, she had her comeuppance. She slaughtered the Warriors Three; what the fuck was that about? Good-bye! You're done now. You played your role, you caused Ragnarok, and now we're done with you. So when I say that she's only at number six, I really mean she doesn't need to come back at all, that's fine.
Although, I will make a confession. In the comics, she's gay. And is married to Karnilla, the queen of the Norns (I'm pretty sure). And Karnilla's badass, she's a sorceress. In Where Mischief Lies, she was Odin's head sorceress, and was training Amora. Until shit happened and then she wasn't training Amora. (I won't spoil anything.) So if you take Where Mischief Lies as canon supplemental material for the MCU, Karnilla's already canon in the MCU. So she could just find her way down to Hel. (I don't think Hela is dead, I think she's back down in her realm where she's supposed to be.) They can get married and that's fine. I just don't want her causing shit for Thor and Loki anymore, because I'm done with that, thank you.
Also Fenrir should be down there too, and in the comics, Fenrir ends up being daddy to Kid Loki's hellhound Thori, so that's another reason why Fenrir and Hela should be alive still. So in order for Journey into Mystery to become canon in the MCU they both need to be alive still.

So since I've been delving into the "Loki" series, I may as well talk about my old ass OC who recently got a redesign--
Mariyam Titaniana is a half Sidhe (pronounced "shee") or Fae and half Human. Specifically, she is the daughter of Titania, the Fairy Queen, and a human man named Amram.
However, way before Mariyam was even born, there's a bit of info I need to go over before I can discuss her.
...
Sidhe didn't really like Asgardians. Mostly because they came and tried to rule over Earth, the home of the Sidhe. They fought against the Asgardians and even caused a great deal of issues for Odin and Hela. But when Odin became a benevolent king all those years ago, he made peace with the Sidhe. As a result, the Fairy Queen was allowed on Asgard a few times.
That's how she ended up meeting Loki and Thor. And due to her own supernatural powers, she sees that Loki will become a vital part of her future daughter's life. He would become this future daughter's intended. So the Fairy Queen put an enchantment on him.
"When you fall to the stars, guided by Our light, you shall land in the waiting hands of a girl with the darkest eyes and the brightest hair."
Loki was just a child when this happened.
Fast forward a few hundred years and an Iranian family moved to Ireland in the 1800s. Amram and the Fairy Queen met as a result. They met by sheer accident and Amram was deeply fascinated by her and she with him due to him not fearing her.
The Fairy Queen did not give him a name to call her, so Amram chose to name her based off of "A Midsummer's Eve" by Shakespeare. Henceforth, she adopted the name Titania to use around humans.
Mariyam was born ten years into Titania's and Amram's friendship. And I say friendship because, well, Titania felt no romantic feelings for him. They were more quasiplatonic and his were romantic love. He accepted this because he knew she could never feel that way about him due to the very nature of Sidhe.
Titania left Mariyam in Amram's care. She was present for Mariyam's life, but she really couldn't focus too much on her daughter's life unfortunately. However, when it became clear that Mariyam aged far slower than an average human, Amram moved to the countryside in order to be closer to Titania and to avoid suspicious eyes on their child.
Mariyam grew up in an idyllic house in the country. She was happy and beloved by all. However, when she appeared to be 15 after 70 years of being alive, her father died of old age. Titania saw how alone her daughter was and told her that someday, she'd bring Mariyam a suitor.
Fast forward another 100 years and Mariyam is a fully grown adult who ends up still living alone in the country. But that all changes when a man by the name of Loki ends up at her doorstep.
So Mariyam's fully convinced this is the suitor her mother promised her and Loki, who had just released Thor's hand and abandoned his family on Asgard, is absolutely baffled and confused by this weird half-human who keeps insisting she's a Fae and that he's supposed to marry her.
Suffice to say, Mariyam doesn't have a lot of social skills, partly because Sidhe are weird and because she's been isolated for most of her life to protect her.
So Loki manipulates her and they eventually get picked up by Thanos' soldiers after some dimension hopping nonsense and then the events of "Avengers" happen. But with the change that Loki is being toyed with and manipulated and Mariyam's trying to stop him.
Obviously, MCU stuff happens and Mariyam follows Loki around for most of the events right up until he is killed by Thanos. At that point, Loki and Mariyam have well and truly fallen in love and she's motivated him into being a better person. Heartbroken, Mariyam goes about trying to find a way to undo what happened, leading to her getting tracked down by the TVA and her having to run away.
So the events of "Loki' start. Mobius shows Loki what happens to him in the "future". Loki sees who Mariyam is to him. He's trying to wrap his head around the fact that this weird and socially inept girl who he barely knows is someone he forms a deep bond with. (Because at this point, Loki has just been arrested by the Avengers before escaping.) However, Mobius tells him that the TVA is trying to track down a rogue variant, who turns out to be Sylvie, and they need Loki's help.
Stuff happens and Mariyam eventually runs into Sylvie while running away. She decides to start following her around, much to Sylvie's annoyance. However, when the TVA and Loki turn up to catch Sylvie, Mariyam is so happy to see Loki. Some more events of "Loki" goes down with Mariyam in the picture (and none of the weird sylki shit). In this version, there's a lot more of Mobius in the picture and a lot more of Sylvie being the antagonist. By the end, Sylvie and Loki end up meeting He Who Remains with Mariyam and Mobius having to go back to the TVA. Sylvie sends Loki back to the TVA and she kills HWR, beginning the events of season 2.
Throughout my version of season 1, Loki, Mobius, and Mariyam are all shipped to hell and back and there's so much bisexual it's beautiful.
Season 2 obviously starts the same, but I have no idea how it will end in my AU, but things are definitely gonna be changed up.

My Peter Lokison AU
Timeline
Pre-Peter
Loki's eldest child is Sleipnir, who was sired by a Midgardian stallion and birthed by Loki in the form of a mare.
At some point Loki "ran away from home" to another planet where he met Angrboda and had three children with her: from eldest to youngest, Fenris, Jörmungandr, and Hela. Loki and Angrboda were both magically powerful beings which ended up mixing in interesting ways with their children! Fenris is a giant wolf, Jörmungandr a giant serpent. Hela is humanoid like her parents and was even more magically powerful.
Loki and Angrboda raised their children for years with Odin unaware of it until he received a prophecy warning that the three would be his downfall and cause the end of the world. Prophecies don't always come true but Odin didn't want to take the chance. He tracked Loki's new family down and imprisoned and banished his children in various ways.
Frigga and Thor both tried to talk Odin out of it but didn't succeed.
Fenris was brought to Asgard where he was tricked into letting himself be restrained in a dungeon under the guise of a test of strength.
Jörmungandr was banished to Midgard, landing and staying in the waters.
Hela was banished to the realm(s) of the dead, which transformed her into a being that was neither alive nor dead.
Loki was forcibly brought back to Asgard where everyone pretended nothing had happened (publicly at least).
(Plot hole because I can't decide what happened with Angrboda.)
Hela's new state of being and talent with magic enables her to tap into the threads of the universe that allow the dead to contact the living and manipulate them in such a way that she forms a permanent psychic link with Loki and her siblings (including Sleipnir).
This helps the banished and separated family stay relatively sane but they're unable to do anything about their situation.
Peter's birth
Many, many years later, Loki "runs away from home" again, this time to Midgard, where he lives in the form of a Midgardian woman.
He becomes pregnant from a one-night stand. The pregnancy wasn't planned but he was happy to have another child.
After Peter's birth, Loki happily raised him for a couple years. But at that point, Frigga unexpectedly visited him, telling him that Odin wanted him back on Asgard and it wasn't a request that could be denied.
Loki resigned himself to returning but didn't want Odin anywhere near Peter after what he did to his other children.
Frigga agreed and Loki trusted her much more than Odin so she took Peter and left him to be found by a Midgardian couple who could raise and care for him. Said couple was of course Richard and Mary Parker.
Peter never fully felt abandoned as he had inherited his family's psychic link. Despite distance, he could talk with his mother and his siblings every day.
Sadly, Peter's adoptive parents died when he was still a young child. He was taken in and adopted by his adoptive uncle and aunt, Benjamin and May Parker.
MCU happenings
After the events of the first Thor movie, Loki stops responding to any of his children. Hela can tell the link isn't broken, but Loki is effectively closed off from them now.
After several happy years being raised by his aunt and uncle, Peter has to deal with another family tragedy as Benjamin dies.
He's surviving and loving despite it all.
Radioactive spider bite happens and Peter's superhero life begins.
After the events of Civil War, as he's spending more time with Tony, knowing how much Tony was hurt by Steve keeping secrets from him, Peter reveals his parentage to Tony and explains his psychic link with his siblings and that he's in frequent contact with them, but not his mother (not by his choice).
With it finally out in the open with someone, Tony starts getting somewhat familiar with Peter's siblings in a secondhand way as Peter now regularly mentions and talks about them.
(He ends up telling Ned and May too, after they find out about him being Spider-Man, because what use is more secrets?)
At some point Thor returns to Midgard and meets Peter and the family ties are revealed. He's very happy to have another nibling, though he's still filled with guilt for failing to help Fenris, Jörmungandr, and Hela. He starts spending a lot of time on Midgard, bonding with Peter (and his other niblings secondhand).
The events of the first Doctor Strange movie happen and the universe cracking fuckery ended up inadvertently breaking Hela's banishment and transporting her to New York.
She allows herself to be "contained" by Stephen at the Sanctum but refused to tell anything and requests/demands to see Tony Stark.
Stephen grumpily acquiesces and retrieves Tony to bring to her (what a first meeting to have, but hey, it's better than meeting right before a world destroyer arrives).
Once she's met Tony and it's explained who she is, Stephen somewhat reluctantly agrees to let her be as she claims to have no desire (or even the ability) to endanger this world, and simply wants to see her younger brother.
Tony takes her to his home in Stark Tower and invites Peter over to finally have the siblings meet face to face.
Hela's a permanent presence now. She alternates living in Stark Tower and living with Peter and May (more often the Tower as May's apartment has limited space.)
Hela and Thor are reunited now too. Hela's not interested in any grudges so they get to build their family bond too.
Jörmungandr has been on Midgard this whole time but doesn't see the others in person much. She sticks to the deep waters, away from busy civilization. She's very much in contact with them through their link though.
Events vaguely similar to the first part of the Ragnarok movie happen, Odin dies on Midgard in the presence of Thor and Loki. He regrets what he did to his grandchildren and breaks Fenris and Jörmungandr's banishments.
After Odin's death, Thor beseeches Loki to stay with him on Midgard, telling him of his meeting Peter and Hela's arrival and stay on the planet. Loki can live with his family again if he lets himself.
Hela sensed Odin dying but only arrived after he had already passed. Her arrival at the scene helps convince Loki to try living again with his family.
Hela forgives Loki for his ignoring of his children for years but also makes it clear that she won't stand for him hurting Peter again and if he wants to reunite with Peter, he needs to stay in Peter's life.
Peter's just happy to have his mother back.
Loki ends up living at Stark Tower too which is... interesting. He and Tony basically both agree to try and get along for Peter's sake.
Things go surprisingly well and Tony, Thor, Rhodey, and Loki basically end up being a bit of an Avengers revival, with Peter joining in at times (to Tony's dismay and Thor and Loki's delight).
Thanos
Thanos is still on his world balancing mission and Bruce still knows and comes to warn Stephen (I don't have a specific storyline here, Bruce was still in space and ended up crossing paths with Thanos and knowing of his plan).
Stephen summons the new Avengers, plus Hela, minus Peter.
Canon Infinity War stuff happens but Bruce does now get encouragement from Hela to contact Steve. She asks him to ask Steve if he knows where Nick Fury is, but Steve isn't able to help. Hela's able to find out herself through her tapping into the universal threads but that takes a bit of work so she tried the easy way first.
Hela is able to locate and contact Fury, fills him in as quickly as she can, and tells him to contact Carol and request her help with Thanos.
Hela's usually unable (literally unable) to interfere in the affairs of the living because of her state of being and universal laws, but she gets involved now. It's quite a frightening moment for the others, as it becomes clear just how serious the situation is if she's getting involved. (It basically counts as divine intervention.)
Fenris and Sleipnir are brought to Midgard to help in the fight against Thanos's army. Sleipnir, Fenris, Jörmungandr, Hela, Thor, and Loki are all there for the battle in Wakanda.
The battle starts before Carol arrives but she makes it and helps turn the tide as well.
Hela's able to be transported to Titan by Stephen using Peter's genetic connection with her.
Thanos is successfully defeated before he can perform the Snap.

What If... Thor was Blipped (updated)
What if Thor had been blipped after Thanos did the snap?
In the aftermath of Thanos' finger snap, the world was forever changed. It is now the responsibility of Valkyrie, Loki, and the Avengers to restore all those who were lost. My take on the ending of Infinity War involves a heartwarming reunion between Valkyrie and Thor once everyone has been brought back. However, Endgame remains largely unchanged.
Valkyrie had joined Thor alongside the Avengers after the trauma they had experienced in what felt like a week. The Asgardians had been forced to abandon everything, their home, and Loki, whom Thanos had killed on the ship.
When she looked around the forest where Thanos was said to have last been seen, Valkyrie worried she hadn't seen Thor anywhere in the battle. "Come on... come on... where are you... Please be okay..." As she said this, she heard what seemed to be a groan of pain followed by dust. Thanos did it... erased half the universe.
There was a run towards the dust from the Asgardian warrior. A ghostly paleness covered her face once she saw who was fading. She fell to her knees next to Thor and held hands with him as they shared one last embrace before Thor turned to dust. "Oh, no, no, no, no Thor!" she wept as her eyes filled with tears.
She heard the God of Thunder say, "You're the queen of New Asgard Val! " before he vanished.
Her last words were "Wait wh- T-Thor no I... alright..." though she knew she was talking to herself now; after getting a sense of what had happened, she sat there in silence, processing everything. As she heard footsteps, tears ran down her face. Okoye. The guard of King T'Challa walked over to her and knelt at her side. Valkyrie had already lost someone in the past and now it was repeating itself.
"I can't do this again... I lost someone before I can't go through it again..."
"Sh... shh Val, it's alright! I promise we will get the job done! And we will bring all these people back!"
After everything that had occurred with Hela recently and in the past, Valkyrie thought she would be hard-wired to deal with heartbreak and chaos by now. Immediately, she wondered. Why wasn't it her? Why Thor? Most importantly, where was Thanos?
"Where is he?" she asked Okoye through tears, Her eyes were darkened and her voice was shaky filled with sadness and anger, "Val think about this before you do anything... please... we need to find who is still alive first before we do anything to defeat Thanos... okay?" the guard wiped her friend's tears as she nodded, it didn't help that Thors axe Stormbreaker was sitting right next to her, she picked it up and held it close to her chest.
Okoye held her close running a hand through her hair gently "Shh..." A few moments later the two heard footsteps coming towards them and voices "Okoye, Valkyrie!"
It was Steve Rodgers aka Captain America, he looked at the girls his eyes saddened as he realized which Avenger had been blipped "Thor?" he asked Valkyrie as he walked up to her kneeling next to her placing a hand gently on her shoulder and sighing quietly. This made Valkyrie tear up again after barely calming down moments ago.
"Where's Thanos?" Valkyrie asked again in a whisper as she kept Stormbreaker close to her
"he disappeared... we don't know where he is... but we are going to find him and make him bring everyone back with the stones!"
The thought of one Avenger being blipped by Thanos sparked Steve's attention for a moment, and then he spoke to Valkyrie, "Come on, there's someone nearby..."
While Okoye and Steve helped Valkyrie up, her face was wet with tears as she looked at Captain America sadly. What was she to tell the people of New Asgard that their king was dust? She didn't even know if Loki was alive, since Thor returned to Earth without a chance to speak.
Steve led the girls to break the silence between them. Valkyrie looked up to see a familiar face she never expected to see again. Loki.
Loki didn't need to say anything to her since he saw her holding his brother's weapon. He knew within seconds what this meant as he walked over to her with a shocked expression on her face. She, along with Wanda, walked straight past him, thinking he had been killed by Thanos. He stayed with him to explain. "Now isn't the best time..." he watched Loki's confused expression as the girls walked away as he explained what had occurred.
Eventually, they met the other Avengers near Wakanda's battlefield, and Valkyrie held back tears the best she could as she went to tell Natasha and the others about her teammate being blipped. Steven and Loki soon caught up as they watched people around them slowly fade from the snap.
Loki soon realized what had happened to his older brother; he glanced back at Valkyrie, trying to process it all. She glanced back at him as he gestured towards him. His first move was to pull her close and hug her while she forced back tears, trying to be strong once more.
"I don't know where Thanos has gone. But I know we will find him because this isn't over yet," Steve said to his friends. After watching them pull away from the hug, Valkyrie wiped away tears and nodded in agreement as Cap said these words.
Loki sighed quietly as people finally stopped turning to dust around them "Let's get back to New Asgard... make sure everything's alright" Valkyrie quickly agreed at this, wanting to get off the battleground as quickly as they could, she picked up Stormbreaker before looking at Loki then at what was left of the Avengers "we might need a lift back..." she said to Steve quietly as he understood leading them to the ship.
Despite the silence between them, Natasha spoke, breaking the silence, "Val... if you need to talk about this at any point, you know where we are, right?" she assured the Asgardian.
"It's fine. I know Nat... I know. But I don't know how to let everyone know what's happening. We barely made it after Thanos had attacked the ship after we defeated Hela... and lost Asgard... Natasha, my people have already gone through so much... I don't want to make things worse for them. They have barely settled after what they've been through."
"We'll get Thor back," Natasha insisted to Valkyrie with a hopeful tone as she explained everything the Asgardians had been through. She leaned against her warmly, placing her hand on her shoulder gently as they walked to the ship. She could not help but smile faintly as they walked. On the ship to New Asgard, the girls were still talking to each other as they sat side by side.
On the way back home Loki stared out the window, "Valkyrie... we're back!" he whispered to her faintly. Loki smiled and nodded as he watched Nat give Valkyrie a tight hug before leaving the ship. "We'll stay in touch," Steve said with a nod.
Her hair flew in the breeze along with her blue cape from her battle outfit as she took a deep breath as looked at New Asgard, realizing she was now the new ruler until Thor appeared. "Loki...I can't do this..." she whispered as she glanced up at him. She had tears in her eyes despite trying to hide them. "Asgard needs Thor as their leader...not me..." As she spoke, her blue cape fluttered in the wind.
When she said this, the God of Mischief glanced at her, her voice trembling with fear after recent events. "I just don't want to let him or anyone else down..." she thought as she took a deep breath before the two headed for New Asgard.
"If my brother did not think you would make a good leader Val, he wouldn't have made you one" Loki comforted his friend to cheer her up, but he and Valkyrie were both feeling nervous at the prospect, but the thought of Thanos quickly took over.
"If he returns, what are we going to do? Steve said he disappeared, and from where I was standing, it sounded like Thor was the last one with him... before... you know," she asked Loki, getting choked up a little again.
"He also said he'd give us updates on what's happening-"
"The reason is none of that matters since Thor isn't here... and you know as well as I do it may take ages for the Avengers to find Thanos... We don't know when or where he will strike next since he has wiped half of the universe... and while we are on the subject..."
Valkyrie punched him in the arm, slightly angry "that's for making everyone think Thanos killed you when he attacked the ship! Your brother told me all that happened and then here you come out of nowhere!"
"Alright, wasn't the best time to show myself. Just don't hit me on the arm again... or take it out on me, anyway"
"way to take the fun out of it" Valkyrie joked through a chuckle as they continued, soon meeting up with Korg, who survived both Thanos's attack on the ship and the blip.
Greeting Valkyrie, the rock man started before observing Valkyrie, still holding Stormbreaker. "Isn't that Thor's axe?" he asked, pointing to the weapon. "and where is Thor?" he continued, hearing Valkyrie and Loki's hesitation at his question.
When the Kronan asked again, "Where's Thor?" he knew something was wrong. After making her speech, Valkyrie let out a sigh that had been holding in: "Thor was... Thanos... he...-" she tried to articulate Thor had been blipped but could not bring herself to say it without tearing up again.
When Korg realized Valkyrie was asking him, "has Thanos wiped out half the planet? And you're saying Thor was among those travelling into the dust?" He asked, saddened, as he watched his friends nod at his question.
"So, then... who will lead us then?" Korg stared at Valkyrie before speaking, "Before he disappeared... Thor said I am the leader... but now I can't lead without him. I am not qualified to do this."
"Several weeks before Thanos' attack, you had fought against the goddess of death so you can do it! It appears you also took part in the battle against that grape." Loki interrupted his friends, panicking as he tried to boost Valkyrie's confidence, but when the dagger was pointing at him, he soon ceased talking.
"Listen! don't give me a pep talk and don't mention his name around me! Not until he's defeated and everyone's brought back!"
"I agree-"
"don't get familiar!..." Valkyrie warned, saying the very words she had to Thor what seemed like almost a week ago as she kept the dagger in front of him.
"let me finish... I agree with what my brother said..." Loki repeated himself, pushing the dagger away just to be replaced by a second one and a small 'l dare you' smile by the one his brother seemed to like so much.
With a defeated sigh Valkyrie moved her dagger away from Loki, letting him continue "if you can defeat Hela... you can rule until my brother returns plus it's not like you'll be by yourself since I wasn't killed by Tha-"
"say his name... and you'll get a punch somewhere other than your arm!" Valkyrie warned once more, her eyes darkening slightly to show she was serious.
"Alright, as I was saying... if you can defeat Hela you'll be a good leader and I'll be able to help until Thor returns just don't kill me... please..."
Despite Valkyrie's reluctance, she granted Thor's request. She followed Loki to the house, carrying Stormbreaker, waiting for news about a plan to defeat Thanos once and for all while drowning her feelings in a drink.
Five years later, the rest of the world was quiet after the blip and sacrifices had been made to retrieve infinity stones. The final battle against Thanos was about to begin.
"Valkyrie" Loki called from downstairs "They need us!" Valkyrie's eyes grew wide at this news, grabbing Stormbreaker and her sword, "let's finish this! " She was dressed in similar armour to that she wore during her fight with Hela, and her hair was styled into two braids on top of her head.
Orange sparks appeared in front of the two as they headed toward the door. After Loki had finished walking outside, he said, "everyone's back... I'd know that magic anywhere." Valkyrie looked back at him "five years!" she replied, "I have been ready for this day for five years!" Before Valkyrie could step foot through the portal, her pegasus Aragorn grabbed her, and she yelled "hell yeah! Now I'm ready!"
As the portal grew wider she, Loki and everyone you could think of joined Captain America on the battlefield for one last fight against Thanos, but she couldn't focus properly as she looked around at all the heroes hoping to find hers through the fight.
"Avengers" she heard Cap call to everyone, gripping her sword tightly, ready to fight "assemble!"
Everyone charged toward Thanos and his army. Valkyrie scanned the ground halfway through the battle as she picked up Spiderman, who held Thanos's gauntlet "hold on tight, kid!" she told him as she placed him on Aragorn's back.
"Have we met yet? I'm Spiderman-" Spiderman introduced himself "alright Spiderman, you haven't seen Thor anywhere right?" Valkyrie asked hopefully then sighed quietly before she had an answer Spiderman called to her "watch out!" he warned as they almost got hit by an explosion, not wanting another Avenger hurt Valkyrie looked at Spiderman after dodging the worst of the explosions "this is your stop kid!"
Spiderman jumped off the pegasus, crashing as he attempted to land from the height. Valkyrie winced as she watched. She looked around slightly as Aragorn landed away from the explosions, hoping to find the God of Thunder somewhere in the fight.
Eventually, Valkyrie flew up to help Captain Marvel, Wanda and a few female heroes who teamed up together but she stayed distracted until Wanda pointed out "don't look now but... look now" Valkyrie looked at her confused as she said this then glanced over to see Loki giving his brother a tight needed hug, she breathed a slight sigh of relief knowing Thor was okay.
"think you guys can handle these guys?" she asked as she jabbed her sword through one of Thanos's monsters with a smile "we got this" Carol aka Captain Marvel replied, "go to him!" Wanda finished watching her friend fly away.
"Now isn't the best time for a hug boys!" Valkyrie called over with a smile as she flew over, hovering over Loki and Thor handing him Stormbreaker watching as Thunder crashed around the three of them she laughed slightly as she watched having waited five years just to see thunder crashing down again.
Whilst she was distracted, one of Thanos's minions knocked her out of the sky, causing her to land hard next to the boys. Valkyrie winced in pain slightly as she got up with Thor's help. "are you okay?" he asked as he looked around suddenly seeing Thanos. Thor gripped Stormbreaker tightly as he watched the purple titan get closer to them.
"he's mine!..." Thor said quietly, lightning flashing around the three of them. "what? Thor, are you crazy! He'll kill you!" Valkyrie warned as she and Loki exchanged nervous looks before trying to stop the god of thunder from doing something stupid. "brother stop! think about what you're doing!" Loki continued calling from behind Thor even though he knew his brother wasn't listening to either of them.
Thor was stopped from proceeding by Valkyrie, who grabbed his hand tight. "Don't do this!... please... I've lost everyone to Hela... and you for five years... I can't lose you again!" She paused for a moment before continuing: "just... just be careful... Asgard needs you back... I cannot manage this alone anymore! Thor, I need you!"
Loki joined Valkyrie's side to show his brother he was outnumbered, but before they could say anything else, a shadow appeared over the three of them. Thanos.
"I thought I killed him!" Thor said to himself as well as his brother and Valkyrie, "not exactly... you see brother..." Loki explained.
"This isn't the Thanos who made the Snap! It's Thanos from the past... the other was killed when we tracked him down!" Valkyrie continued explaining gripping her Dragon fang tightly glancing at Thor and then up at Thanos "if we make it out of this battle alive we'll explain later..." she finished as she barely blocked the titans' attacks without losing her balance.
As Valkyrie struggled, she yelled over to the boys, "ahh a little help over here!!" she slipped across the ground, falling over. "Ugh!" shaking the pain away, she stood and looked up at Thanos, watching him lift his weapon, ready to kill her. She gripped hers, ready to face whatever happened at that very moment. The next thing she knew, Thor pushed her out of the way, causing him to land on her, using his body to shield her from the attack.
The couple winced in pain again as the two landed away from Thanos. "I could've handled him you know," Valkyrie told Thor through painful laughter before he helped her up, pulling her into a tight embrace, holding her close, relief flooding over them knowing the other was alright.
After a while Loki's voice suddenly interrupted the moment, noticing the battlefield had gone silent. "Brother... we have a problem..." Thor looked at his brother, confused, then noticed everyone had gathered in the same spot, a bad feeling rushing to his stomach. "aw crap!" he grabbed Valkyrie's hand as he pulled her over to everyone, with Loki following behind them.
Seeing what had happened, Valkyrie squeezed Thor's hand tightly and stood beside him. All they could hear was Pepper crying, "Tony, look at me... we'll be okay... you can rest now..." After a few seconds, the Avengers quietened up except for Pepper who was in tears.
After Tony's funeral, Loki joined his brother and Valkyrie back on New Asgard, but things had changed for the God of Mischief. Now that his brother had returned, he thought there was no need for him to stay in the kingdom. Loki found Thor and Valkyrie on the hillside, looking out to sea.
The two of them sat on the grass quietly as Thor spoke, "Valkyrie, you did well while I was gone, I'm surprised you didn't make any changes here..." Valkyrie laughed softly, as Thor said it when he heard Loki's voice behind them, "she would have if I hadn't been there all this time." Loki laughed softly as he joined them both, then looked at Valkyrie.
"I said I'd stay and help until Thor returned, but..." he sighed as he tried to find the right words. Thor looked over at his younger brother. "Loki, what are you saying?" he asked before realizing with a silent sigh, looking down, then back at his brother.
"In your absence, I agreed to help Valkyrie run this place, but I feel like I don't fit in half the time..." the God of Mischief said, referring to himself and Valkyrie as he sat next to them "plus Val and I kept arguing around here after the blip."
"Yeah, we came close to killing each other a few times...I've almost killed you a few times, I know..." Valkyrie laughed as she continued, "what will you do, Loki, I don't want you to leave..."
"I know I can't possibly stop you, but... Your family's here... After everything that's happened in the past five years, it's the first time we're all together like this..."
"Thor!" Loki interrupted, holding his hand up to stop him from talking. "it won't be forever... only for a while, so you will see me again. I just don't know when, but you'll know how to find me if you need me... just send your space Avenger to find me... and I'll return to stay... deal?" he asked As he referred to Captain Marvel as the space Avenger. Thor nodded as his brother made a deal to return if he was needed. "deal" he replied with a nod. "Thor... you and Valkyrie have your family in New Asgard, but my family is somewhere outside of here," Loki explained as he stood up from Thor's side for one last hug "besides, I have to make sure things are slowly returning to normal in space after the blip..." He ended with a sigh of resignation, then turned to Valkyrie.
Taking her place beside the boys, Valkyrie stepped forward, going over to Loki, who gently pulled her into a hug. As she said "thanks for the help", a small smile came across her face. "Laki!" she giggled quietly at his reaction before pulling away. "Wha... hey" Loki protested through his chuckles, already knowing his comeback would be easily defeated.
"Just be careful out there... okay? Although it might have seemed like a few days ago, we have faced much worse. You never know what might wait for you..." Valkyrie said softly as she rested her hand on Thor's shoulder.
"Don't cause too much trouble, Loki... remember Captain Marvel may have to watch if that is necessary," Thor urged Loki before he could protest.
Valkyrie sighed, quietly watching Loki's magic glow, "don't leave for too long... okay, it won't be the same without you... you know that don't you?" she asked as she went closer towards him, her loose hair flowing behind her.
Loki let his magic glow fade away as he shared a moment with Valkyrie, while still smiling faintly "Don't worry, you'll find someone else to taunt, insult, and bruise half the time..." His joking laughs faded seeing the sad look in her eyes as he said this, recognizing her seriousness, "okay forget I said any of that for a minute... you're going to miss me aren't you?..." he asked Valkyrie as she nodded.
"Loki if you hadn't stayed for those five years... I highly doubt New Asgard would look the same if I ran it alone" Valkyrie explained through faint tears as they both laughed a little "come here" Loki said through a sigh as the two friends shared one last hug, this one lasting a little longer than the first. For the first time in a while, there was no tension between the two. No arguing.
Having cuddled into the god of mischief for a few moments, Valkyrie then stepped away. Loki turned his attention to his brother before leaving. "I expect there will be changes while I'm gone. Am I right?" he asked Thor curiously, going over to him while Valkyrie looked over at the sea as the boys said one last goodbye.
"Like what?" Thor asked his brother, "like what about you and Valkyrie?... I mean... it's obvious to everyone in New Asgard and everyone in the Avengers that you like each other" Loki stated the obvious with folded arms and a slight grin.
Valkyrie laughed, speaking to the boys, "he won't admit it... he gets all goofy suddenly whenever it's brought up" she explained as she once again joined the group.
"What no I don't?-" Thor protested as he saw Valkyrie hide a slight smirk at this answer. "alright you made your point Val."
Valkyrie laughed in victory as Thor nudged her shoulder gently, "but if we made any changes, what about a hot tub in the garden..." he asked the two "you're not serious right?..." Loki asked his brother before speaking sarcastically deciding to have a little fun before he left.
"ah yes I'm sure she'll love romantic dips in the jacuzzi at 3 pm in the winter breeze and directly in the ocean's path, who wouldn't love the high tide of the ocean sweeping them off lovingly with all the ocean fish to the next village over in half nude"
Valkyrie held in, laughing as she looked over the ocean once again, leaning on Thor slightly, deciding not to say anything for a couple more minutes before glancing at the boys.
"We can secure it in the ground, you know! To keep it secured..." Thor spoke up despite knowing his brother was joking, as he played along, knowing it might be a while before the three of them would be together like this.
Eventually, Valkyrie joined in the fun of tormenting the God Of Thunder, "awww no row row row your hot tub gently down the street?" she asked through giggles.
"NO. NO ROW ROW ROW YOUR HOT TUB GENTLY DOWN THE STREET!" Thor yelled at both of them, frustrated but managed a smile upon hearing them burst into more laughter sighing quietly speaking to Valkyrie "you're enjoying this aren't you?" he then turned to Loki "I hate you both!..."
"You're not gonna live this down soon! You know that, don't you?" Valkyrie asked Thor, still laughing whilst watching the sunset.
After everyone had calmed down, Loki spoke up as the sky was getting darker. "I suppose I... better get going. It's getting late, and it looks like you two need some rest after the fight with Thanos..."
"I just hope that's the last fight we have to take part in for a long time, even though it felt good to fight again after 5 years," Valkyrie explained, looking over the ocean once more as the wind grew strong giving signs of a storm heading their way.
"If you're going, Loki, make sure you do it before the storm strikes... it looks bad," Thor said to his brother, who reluctantly agreed. Valkyrie watched the boys hug goodbye before she stepped back.
The god of Mischief nodded as the wind blew worse every second they spent talking. He soon opened a portal, getting ready to step through. He turned back to look at his brother and Valkyrie, who stood next to each other as they watched him leave.
After Loki had left, Valkyrie tried to hold more laughter in as she and Thor took a walk back to New Asgard, holding each other close to keep warm, feeling the winds get stronger. "What are you giggling at this time?" Thor asked, squeezing her close. "Nothing except now we can row by the pub for a beer if the ocean takes us that way. What do you say SWEETIE PIE?"
Thor fell silent, rolling his eyes while hiding a smile, letting Valkyrie walk ahead of him, still laughing when the rain suddenly poured on them. "Holy crap, that's cold!" Valkyrie squeaked from just down the hill as she was hit by the rain, soon feeling Thor join her and pull her close.
"you were asking for that Val" Thor teased her as the two cuddled for a few moments in the pouring rain. They looked at a nearby puddle as they held each other close. "look... we are one" Valkyrie glanced at him slightly, hearing him say this, then winces as the rain pours harder on the two of them. "I think it's time to get inside!" Thor told her as he led her back home. Valkyrie replied sarcastically, "what gave you that idea?..."
A few moments later, the couple arrived back home, drenched and soggy from the rain. Thor opened the door, letting Valkyrie go in first. "Don't slip" she told him and she carefully took her shoes off, soon slipping and sliding herself from her wet socks "ah crap! Aha, I'm gonna change!" she told Thor with a soft smile as she went into the bedroom without falling over.
Watching her almost slip as he closed the door, Thor couldn't contain his laugh. To dry himself off, Valkyrie called over Thor and tossed him a towel. She watched as the God of Thunder almost ended up on the floor because of his wet clothing.
"Do... do not tell Loki about this when he's back!..." Thor warned Valkyrie as she held laughing once more. Eventually, the two settled down near the fire after Thor changed, of course leaning against a chair and cuddling each other close, watching the rain pour down heavier than before.
Thor held the Asgardian warrior close to him, his eyes softening, seeing she had fallen asleep on him after a few minutes, not wanting to disturb her instead of picking her up and placing her in bed like anyone else would've done he grabbed a nearby blanket and wrapped them both up to keep warm. That's where they stayed for the rest of the night.

Chapter Text
Loki is 17, Thor is 24, Hela is 30.
It’s been months since, that day and everyone assumed Loki was dead. As Loki had removed everyone’s memories including the people he met on Earth for it seems as nothing ever happened.
But over on unknown section of space.
“Loki Odinson of Asgard, it is great to have you lead the war party of the Chitauri.” Thanos exclaimed.
“Loki Laufeyson, I’m adopted.” Loki corrected.
“I apologize Loki Laufeyson. Your job is to use the Chitauri and your tricks to gain the tesseract and I get much power.” Thanos explained.
“I won’t let you down.”
“Let’s see if you were born to lead” Thanos rejoiced.
Then Loki created a portal where the tesseract is.
He was then in Hydras base.
“Sir, Please put down the spear.” Nick Fury demanded.
Loki looked at his spear then shot a beam out and flew then slaughtered hydra workers and as he was done, he looked around and saw Clint Barton getting up so he ran to Barton. “You have heart.” Loki said. As he put the spear to his chest taking control over Barton.
Loki smiled and lowered his spear then started walking to another Hydra agent who was still alive as Nick Fury grabbed the tesseract putting it in a box. Loki then began to spoke “Please don’t”. Nick Fury stopped “I still need that.” Loki said “This doesn’t have to get any messier” Nick Fury suggested.
“Of course it does.” Loki replied. “I’ve come too far for anything else.” “I am Loki, of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose”
Erik Selvig stood up, “Loki, brother of Thor.” Loki got annoyed hearing that.
Nick fury then said, “We have no quarrel with your people.”
“Loki hissed back, “An ant has no quarrel with a boot.”
“Are you planning to step on us” Nick Fury added
“I come with glad tidings, of a world made free.” Loki responded.
“Free from what” Nicky Fury questioned.
“Freedom.” Loki replied back.
“Freedom is life’s great lie. Once you accept that in your heart,” Loki then paused to put his spear to Erik’s chest as he took control over Erik. “You will know peace.” Loki continued.
“Yeah you say ‘peace’, I kind of think you mean the other thing.” Nick Fury argued.
“Sir director fury is staling. This place is about to blow and drops hundred feet of rocks on us, he means to bury us” Clint Barton explained to Loki
“Like the pharaohs of old.” Nicky Fury responded.
“He’s right. The portal is collapsing in on itself. We’ve got maybe two minutes before this goes critical.” Erik Selvig reported.
Loki turned his head to Clint and said “Well then” and Clint shot Fury as Fury groaned from the bullet. Then they picked up the case and walked away heading to the cars, as Fury called Hill to tell her that Barton has turned to Loki’s side. They then drove away.

Nick Fury asked Agent, Phil Coulson to call the Avenger’s, Captain America, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and Bruce Banner to trace the tesseracts tracks.
+Time Skip+
Once all the Avengers are gathered together, They found Loki and Clint in a Gala where Loki push’s someone and shoves a torture device into a doctors eye getting information and letting Clint go inside the building.
Then Loki walks out and transform into his suit. “KNEEL BEFORE ME” the crowd ignored his foolish requests, and Another LOKI appears, blocking the crowd. Loki after Loki appears, they all grin as they raise their spears, encircling the crowd.
“I SAID KNEEL” as everyone becomes quiet and kneeled before him as Loki smiles. Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel. As the words resonate to the kneeling crowd, an elder man refuses to kneel and stands.
Then Loki looks around and says “Let the elderly, be your example as he is about to beam a powerful light to him, Captain America arrives and blocks the beam knocking Loki down. Then Natasha, The Black Widow appears and “Loki drop the weapon and stand down.” Loki of course wouldn’t listen so he blows a beam to the Quinjet in the air then Captain America and Loki start to fight. As then Loki is on top of Steve and demands him to kneel but Steve won’t ever listen to wat Loki has to say and knocks him over then Loki grabbed Steves leg and flips Steve over.
Iron Man then arrived to the scene. “Agent Romanoff did you miss me?” He scoffed. As everyone looked up and then threatens Loki to his weapons and yelled at Loki, “Make your move, Reindeer games.” Then Loki drops his weapon and raises his hands. Then they escort Loki into the Quinjet.
As they were flying Thunder starts to appear and Loki starts to stare to the window.
Steves then messes with Loki, “What’s the matter scared of a little lightning”
“I’m not overly found of what follows” As then a big lightning bolt hits the back of the jet and opens the ramp as Thor grabbed Loki by his throat and flew out. As Tony and Steve are left flabbergasted.
“Greats there’s that guy.”
“Asgardian?” Natasha asked.
“Thinks he’s more of the friendly type?” Steve suggested.
“Doesn’t matter, if he frees Loki or Kills him we lost tract of the tesseract. Then Tony got ready to jump out. Captain stopped him “We need a plan instead of just attack.” Captain suggested. “I have a plan, attack.” As Tony then flew out.
While Thor and Loki, as Thor threw Loki to the ground, and Thor was definitely angry.
“Where’s the Tesseract”
Loki laughed, “I missed you too”
“Do I look to be in a gaming mood?”
“Oh, you should thank me. With the bifrost gone how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious Earth.”
Thor picks up Loki and lectures him telling him to come home. Then Tony grabbed Thor as they fought, while Loki laughed watching.
(I CANT FIT THE WHOLE MARVEL SCRIPT IN HERE AS ITS NOT OF MY STORY OR WRITING SO IM GOING TO DO TIME SKIPS)
+Time Skip+
As Loki was caged up, Thor had asked Nick Fury if he could be with Loki for a conversation. “Won’t Loki try to escape” Nick Fury asked. “No, he’s my brother. He won’t do that to me” Thor remarked.
As Thor walked into Loki’s cell, Loki didn’t move and muscle and just stared at Thor as he sat down. “Brother” Thor groaned. “Brother?” Loki was confused a bit but also said it mockingly. “Why on Odin’s beard, you did this?” Thor yelled.
“I’m Loki?”
“No, Loki. Don’t be yourself right now and stop causing trouble as it’s not necessary, Brother.”
“Well it’s already done, Thor.” He said Thor’s name nervously as he never calls Thor by his name and he tried to be sincere but it went the total opposite.
“Loki. I know you were nervous to say my name. So good job. But it’s still brother to you, *pause* Brother, why do you think I want you to come back to Asgard?”
“For the Tesseract.”
“You bullhead, I love you Brother. Asgard needs the Tesseract. But you, you’re my baby brother Loki, and you know it too. You’re 17 now, and you really made me miss your birthday too for you can go into this foolery. “
Loki laughed, “I don’t know you”
“Oh really? I can call up Hela and this will be even worse for you while I tell everyone all your embarrassing childhood.”
“Stop” Loki yelled.
As he used his power and stabbed Thor then used his powers to make him fall. Thor pulled the knife out of his chest and gave Loki that annoyed looked as Loki stood there smiling to how he just knocked Thor down.
“Who’s the bitch now?” Loki sarcastically rejoiced.
“What” Thor responded. As he stood up and hit Loki in the face making him fall down, He then placed Mjölnir on Loki’s chest.
“Don’t say that word again,” as he shoved his finger into his face.
“Can you let me pick up Mjölnir?” Loki asked as he groaned to the fact he couldn’t get up.
“I will let you if you stop this foolery.”
Thor then grabbed Loki as he then hugged him. “Who hurt you, My dear baby brother?”
Loki pushed him off. “No one stop.”
“Loki listen to me now, you stop this now or you know what’s coming your way.” Thor lectured.
“Oh, Brother. I wish I could stop it, but it’s already began.” Loki wined.
“Loki you go and call those people who ever you’re with and you tell them it’s over.” Thor argued.
Loki started to tear up at the fact he has realized what he’s done and now.
“You actually crying Loki or is this your illusion” pointing at him.
“Hela is going to kill me, is she not?”
“Not if Father does it first.”
“Your father” Loki corrected.
“If he’s not your father am I not your brother?”
“Yes” he stuttered by saying it.
“You don’t mean that.” Thor smiled.
“Loki, why are your eyes so dark and everything around them” pointing at his eyes.
“Sleep deprivation” Loki said back immediately.
“You can sleep on the chair you know”
“I do, but what if you group stabs me”
“Loki you can’t die from a stab.”
“Still”
“Mother is waiting for you, she said you look like your hygiene gotten worse.”
“Course she would say that,”Loki smiled.
Loki yawned but tried to cover it up by screaming.
“Loki, you can sleep if you want.”
“Where, *pause* this is different. Open communication isn’t are family’s forte and now it is.”
“Shut it”
“Brother,”
“Yes Loki”
“Am I in Asgardian trouble”
“Didn’t everyone tell you to listen to the stupid midgardians and Asgardians”
Loki nodded his head, “that’s your answer” Thor scoffed.
Everything went silent, after a while. “Brother, I presume you’ll be okay.” Thor remarked.
“I missed you” Loki whispered
“So did I” Thor laughed.
“THOR!” Black widow called telling his time is over with Loki.
“Brother, I’ll be back. You’ll be safe” Thor happily said as he went towards Loki and ruffled his hair and gave him a kiss on his forehead and putting his hand on his cheek then walking away smiling at Loki as the cell closed and Thor walked away.
+Time Skip, the Avengers have now beaten Loki+
“I’ll take that drink now” As Loki holds his hands up.
“No” Thor sighed as he was rubbing his eyes.
The Avengers are now walking with Loki chained up and Loki and Thor are about to leave and Captain starts speaking then Loki starts to mock Captain and was mocking and laughing non stop so Thor pulled out a gag and put it over Loki’s mouth as Loki just kept laughing “Shut it” Thor demanded.
As the Avengers are about to watch Thor and Loki leave, Loki is waiting for his brother as he stands there awkwardly but Natasha and Clint are infront of Loki as Natasha whispers to Clint, “Loki probably does this a lot, if Loki looks that comfortable in the gag and Thor carries it around,” she whispered as she laughed and Clint then smiled at the joke and Loki gave a worried reaction as he felt he was being judged.
Thor then went up to Loki and his eyes pointed towards the Tesseract telling Loki to grab the handle, and Loki was so embarrassed he gripped to the handle as Thor looked around and they then went back to Asgard.
Notes:
Thank you for reading <3
I’m sorry Hela is not in this chapter but I’m trying to put her into the next chapter. This chapter took so much thinking and I couldn’t just copy the whole movie so I tried my best, and next chapter will be about Disney+ Series ‘Thor the Dark World’ This chapter, I have mixed feelings about Frigga’s death.

Hiii could I possibly request and Angst #2 with Loki that might turn a bit steamy?
YES! YES YOU CANNNNNN 😩 I love me some Loki angst 🤌🏼
I know you asked for something steamy…but I got carried away with the angst…
Tumblr media
Warnings: Death. Yup.
(Loki x GN!Reader)
Unlike Loki, you didn’t get the opportunity to live a long life full of million of experiences you could only dream of or even read about, but when Loki had offered you that in a human lifespan, you took it blindly. Because that was your human flaw; to love blindly.
The first time you met Loki had the one of the most random nights of your life. You had been alone at the park across your house. You knew everyone that lived nearby, so when the handsome stranger had approached you, you had been inclined to run. But you didn’t. You stayed. You hear his supposed “story”. It all had been a lie, you found that out four months into your talking stage. He had fessed up after you had cornered him about how there was no traces of him in any systems.
You had almost called the police on him until he showed you he really was.
That had been two months before he had told you that he had to go back to his home and stay for a while and couldn’t come see you.
You waited.
And waited.
He never showed.
Then he did. Attacking New York and terrorizing the world.
He never came looking for you. You didn’t know if that had been a good thing or not.
But then he did. He came back for you after it all had happened. He had come back to tell you that he had faked his death to escape and get back to you.
You had slapped him across the face and told him to get fucked for thinking you were going to take him back after the stunt he had pulled in New York.
But then he “explained” everything. His silver tongue quick to have you seeing the side of his story.
So you blindly accepted him back.
He took you with him to Asgard. You had been fascinated. But you quickly realized the farce he was pulling to the people. Loki played Odin while you were hidden away in his quarters and only came out when “it was alright for him to be himself.”
You had fallen for that trick. You always fell for them. Because you loved him. You loved him so blindly.
But the Thor came back and exposed Loki to the people of Asgard. You three had ended up going back to earth to see their father. But like father like son—as much as Loki hated it—Odin had a secret. They had an older sister and when he died, it brought their sister Hela.
Chaos broke out. You had almost died as you and Loki ended up in a shit hole planet that ended up being the Space version of what you pictured was “funky gladiator city.”
Loki had managed to keep you safe. He kept reassuring you that everything was going to be fine. No more lies and no more crazy stuff. And it lasted.
Until Thor ended up in the same planet. Then things had taken a turn as Loki and you got roped into helping him leave the planet.
But, as usual, Loki had a plan of his own. He had tried to run it before heading back to Asgard, which had been something you both had agreed to do. He had fought you on it.
“You can’t go! You could get hurt!” He’d said.
“Then come with us!” You had said.
It had gone back and forth, but you had won. Or so you had thought.
At the end, Loki had come back. He had helped stop Hela.
But Asgard was gone. And everyone was stuck in a big space ship in search of a home.
You had been in your roll when Loki had come looking for you.
“I’m glad to see your alive,” he’d said softly.
“Yea,” you’d said. “I’m glad you did the right thing.”
He had smiled but it quickly dropped as you continued.
“You need to promise me that you will stop lying to me and just drag me along all the places you find yourself trapped,” you said. “I can’t spend the rest of my life hoping that you will stop making decisions like this is a one man show. Loki, you brought me into your life and promised me nothing but a joyful life. I left everything for you, but you can’t seem to do that for me. You keep thinking of you. Not us.”
Loki had promised you that very moment that it was going to be just fine. That once everything settled, it would be you and him. No one else. No more drama. No more danger. Just a life of peace.
But then Thanos had showed up, and killed half of the people in the ship while the rest had managed to escape. You stayed behind. Because it was supposed to be you and him. But it seemed all his promises were like the feeling in your chest. Hollow.
When he had offered Thanos his help, you had seen red. You had been betrayed just like Thor. But while Thor’s hurt had been in little words. Yours hadn’t.
“How dare you!” You shouted. Every eye on you. His blue eyes on you. “How could you look me in the eyes and tell me that things were going to be different?! No more of your selfish ways! Yet here you are! You lying bastard!”
It had brought a hush amongst the chaos. Loki turned to you.
“Darling, listen to me please,” he said as a small quiver was heard. But you couldn’t take it. You began to cry in your anger.
“YOU LIED! You lied and lied! And now you want me to listen to you?!”
It had shut him right up. And it seemed Thanos had had enough as he covered your mouth like he had Thor.
But then you had wanted to take your harsh words back.
Loki had had a plan. A stupid plan. He had tried to kill the Mad Titan. But instead, Loki had been the one to die. Your scream had been muffled but gut wrenching as you saw the man you had loved die as he had, for the first time, tried to truly fight the good fight. And the last thing he heard from you was your anger and resentment.
“No resurrection this time.” Those hand been the cruel words that Thanos had said as he threw Loki’s dead body in front you and Thor.
The rest of it had been a blur. You had gone numb. Your ears were ringing from the explosions around you. You couldn’t even move to lament your loss.
The pain you felt. The shame. Regret. Hatred. Grief. Everything faded. It quickly it all turned to a fusion of red, blue, purple, and even green as you lost consciousness when you had been thrown into space.
You blinked. Slowly. Eyes lost in the infinite depths of space.
And then it was all gone.
