Lonesome Being
I was but a lonesome being
Wandering aimlessly, with nowhere to go
No home to stay at
That is, until I met you
You are my rock, who stabilizes me
And I am yours
We are inseparable
A force against the world
I am your protector, and you are mine
Together, we will thrive
We are but two beings
Wandering aimlessly, with nowhere to go
But this time, we have each other
We are each other's home

i crave attention, but i refuse to humiliate myself by asking for it.
i want to be loved, but i don’t want anyone to truly know me.
i am trying to make myself digestible, i don’t want to leave a sour taste in the mouth of my consumer.

The Siren's Love
Her beauty was like no other I’ve seen
Her eyes loving and caring and gentle
When I first saw her, I thought her a queen
However it seemed like that was mental
She had auburn hair that flowed in the breeze
Like the ocean waves that she commanded
When she looked at me I felt myself freeze
And I knew at once my heart had landed
I smiled at her briefly, and she smiled back
Her eyes softly glowing in the dim light
And I fought through the waves, getting quite smacked
But the waves were giving too good a fight
So I stayed there and watched her ship depart
We’re left now with only a broken heart
