Suddenly a tall figure offering a home for her . She agreed , growing up as one of the Lilia's student . But it's weird she slowly don't remember anything about her past . She also aren't allowed to go outside . Silver always act like a big brother saying ' father do that for your safety , beside you have us ' .sebek like to scold you since you are too weak to do anything , well it's not your fault since ' someone ' keep adding something to your food . And Malleus, you don't see him often but he always have time for you and suddenly he ask you to marry him ....

Can you run from this twisted fate ?

I have taken a inspiration from the 1950s lifestyle and parenting models to this writing. I hope you like it.

Yandere Diasomnia x reader

There was a rumor in your village that was often told to children. According to the rumor, the nearby forest was inhabited by fae's who came to the village at night and abducted all the children who were not behaving well. However, you knew that seeing the rumors was just a lie. If they had been true, Fae's would have kidnapped you a long time ago.

You were only a six-year-old, but even you realized that in your home was not all right. Nothing was right after your mother died. And especially not after your father found a new wife who didn’t like you because you looked like your mother.

So you tried your best to be a bad and nasty kid so that Fae's would come and take you away. You’ve broken the dishes, drawn on the walls, and even bitten your stepmother who was trying to get you to stop. But Fae's did not come. You wondered if they were shy. You were lying in your bed and you were a little hungry because you had to go to bed without food as a punishment. That's when you got a great idea. If the fae's don't dare come to you you have to go to them.

So that night you were waiting for your dad and stepmother to go to sleep. You sneaked quietly into the kitchen and made a couple of snacks and juice that you put in your bag. After that, you sneaks quietly out and you ran into the forest...

The forest was darker than you had imagined. There were a lot of scary sounds and shadows. But still, the thought of getting a caring home helped you move on. So you wandered in the woods and shouted, "Heyyyy are there any faes here? There would be a lost child here that you could kidnap."

You got to wander for a long time. Or did you think it took a long time? At least you had already eaten all your snacks from your bag. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. Maybe you should go back. That's when you realized you were lost. You had never thought about what would happen if you couldn’t find Fae's. After this information, you quickly began to cry. What was your luck’s happiness as your crying attracted Lilia to you?

"Aaaaw what about a sweet and small child doing alone in the forest? Are your parents somewhere nearby?" At first, you were startled by the sound but something in Lilia’s essence made you trust her. So you told me how you had run away from home and tried to find a fae so you wouldn’t have to go home. "That was sad to hear. What if you came to live with me? I could take better care of you." And since you are a stupid child, you agree to Lilia’s offer.

And that's where your new life began.

Your new childhood was happy. Now you had a sleepy and kind big brother Silver... and a less kind and loud Uncle-Sebek. Then there was also "your best friend" Malleus who was often busy and Papa Lilia who taught you how to make magic drinks and how to make food. Even though your childhood was happy you no longer dared to go to the woods alone. Papa Lilia had told you that if you go out alone your parents will find you and take you back to that miserable place.

Over time, your memories fade but you still dare not go alone in the woods. Time seems to be running fast. You will soon find that you are almost an adult who wanted to try your limits. It's a pity that your overprotective yandere family didn't let you do it.

"Y/N Where are you going alone? Weak humans like you can't survive alone outdoors. Stop staring at the door and come back here before I tell your dad this." You were disappointed to hear Sebek's voice. You had been so close that you could secretly go out and pick flowers as a gift for Lilia. You wanted to show that you wouldn’t die as soon as you step out the door. And even if you loved your new family a lot, you would want space to breathe. You really couldn't tell Sebek that. You were sure he wouldn't understand. Malleus and Silver might understand but not Sebek. So you went back to your room.

Your normal days were usually spent studying different things with Lilia's guidance. Lilia had been your teacher all your life. (Of course, there were some shortcomings in your education because none of them wanted you to become too independent.) Otherwise, you spent almost all of your time with either Silver or Malleus. With Silver, you usually helped him with household chores or listened when he told about his date. You spent less time with Malleus. But when you did, Malleus always wanted to braid your hair and know everything you had done while he was away.

And the rest of your life would surely have gone on like this but then you met Tom. Tom and his family had moved nearby and Tom was distributing gourmet baskets because he wanted to get on good terms with his neighbors. When Tom came to give them to your "family" you managed to open the door first. And because Tom was the first person you had seen in a long time, you became interested in him.

You started secretly spending time alone. It was almost impossible but sometimes Tom managed to sneak under the window of your room and you might talk for a moment. It was Tom who helped you understand that your family is overprotected and that you don’t remember anything about your past is not normal. In addition, you realized that there were serious shortcomings in your training and you certainly wouldn’t be able to cope alone. Knowing this was hard because you thought your family would always think of your best. You started to fall in love with Tom a little.

However, everything nice will end in time. And once you got caught talking to Tom. It caused a horrible commotion. You had never seen Sebek so angry before, Silver so disappointed and Lilia was a mix of both. Together, they decided to “Move Your Room” into the basement and make sure you can’t move anywhere else in the house without their supervision. You don’t understand what you had done wrong. Was talking to others such a bad and serious thing?

Meanwhile, Lilia, Silver, Sebek, and Malleus had a serious discussion about your future.

Silver: Doesn't this punishment go a little further. I'm sure Y/N learned from them mistake.

Lilia: What if that's not the case? What if Y/N tries again and something happens? I don't want anything to happen to my little baby.

Sebek: I believe Murder is the best option. After that, Y/N is definitely not trying anything stupid.

Silver: We can't just murder someone! It's not right.

Malleus: What if Y / N were to marry me? After that, they couldn’t leave and they could always be close to them family.

Lilia: Awesome Idea Malleus. This is perfect. I start preparing for the wedding right away.

You only found out about this shortly before the wedding. It wasn’t a question it was a revelation that Lilia told you about. Life with the yandere dragon just was even more limited than normal.

You really can't go. You cannot escape this twisted fate...

Your character analysis posts are really accurate! I like how you want to show that a character is a lot more than they show. It kind of angers me that there are people who headcanon the boys as something they're not, or they saying that they're this one personality trait only. What other characters from twisted get mischaracterized, at least in ur opinion?

I really enjoy going into depths of characters' personalities because damn- there were some big brains behind their creations!

This question was rather important so I couldn't decide on any specific characters to talk about, so I decided to list all of the twst characters and how they'd often get mischaracterized.

Mischaracterization isn't bound to twst fandom because as long as a there's a fandom, fanon interpretations of characters exist.

Almost any character in any fandom can be mischaracterized at some point, but it isn't always that noticable or important. Mischaracterization often becomes noticable when pretty different interpretations of rather 'popular' characters exist within a fandom, which causes many to argue over what the correct interpretation is.

For now, I'm dividing all of twst characters into "5 groups" to explain how each of them might often get mischaracterized.

Group A: Complex personalities

It's simple, these characters can be quite hard to understand. It's either because of having too many features at the same time, which makes them quite hard to read because we'll need to achieve a balance between all of their different personality aspects, or being quite secretive and mysterious which awfully bounds our knowledge regarding these characters and their personalities.

•Malleus Draconia: We previously talked about Malleus; the main reason of him getting mischaracterized is having plenty of spine-chilling features while having considerably childish and innocent hobbies at the same time. This opposition often makes it hard to decide on what the cannon Malleus is like, because it can hard to choose one between his darker side and softer side. What we need in order to achieve a rather cannon interpretation of Malleus, is a balance. Just as I previously said: Malleus isn't a baby, but he isn't a monster either.

•Lilia Vanrouge: Even without going into depths, you can tell that Lilia's personality is complicated as hell. Though I can't really tell that he's being Mischaracterized because the cannon Lilia himself can switch into a totally different personality in a matter of second, one moment he's a 90+ year old father trying to lead his children into he right path, one moment he's an unraveled neon teenager playing the ear-scrathing heavy metal with that guitar of his, and the other second he's an absolute monster which can creep the heck out of you with a simple "Boo". Lilia can also get plenty of different personalities through fanon interpretations:Yandere Lilia/Vampire fae/ Papa Lilia/ Daddy Vanrouge many other details which I can't go through now,but let me just say: A Lilia analysis would be rather long, and interesting one.

•Jade Leech: Speaking of reading characters, better know that this mister eel Leech is an absolutely tough one. You'll never know what he's hiding behind that friendly yet evil smile, or what intentions might be behind his extreme will to play the role of the butler and help everyone out. Understanding this Sebastian Michaelis complex is an absolute challenge and this is probably one of the things that makes him so Interesting, you always know that he's hiding something dark on the inside, yet you can't really tell what it is.

•Cater Diamond: This might be rather hard to notice, but there's a lot about Cater which is left untold. Despite his sweet and positive appearance, his personality is actually a bitter-sweet complex of too many emotions and a pretty well-written background. The amount of info found through his voice lines and personal stories is rather amazing as if you're reading a real boy's life story! But this amount of detail and considerably dark aspects of his personality can make it really hard to understand what's going on in this mysterious mind; especially because of how he seems to be hiding a second face under that friendly smile.

•Jamil Viper: Jamil can be quite hard to read. He isn't really emotional and hardly ever expresses his true feelings. Even NRC students agree that he can be quite a mystery, from his past life and daily struggles to how many of his true feelings and intentions remained a secret until chapter 4. Jamil is a complex of pain, power, hatred and patience. His background is perfect example of a villainous story and how a child can grow to be a villain, which is quite interesting! Jamil's story is worthy of a detailed analysis and some time for all of us to understand what this guy has been going through.

•Rook Hunt: We often tend to know him as Pomefiore's "dramatic stalker", and he surely is! The fanon interpretation of Rook doesn't usually go against his cannon interpretation (Expect for the times that people get salty over his appearance or attitude- Which leads to the creation of countless Rook memes-) While it's true that he's more than just a French stalker, it can be hard to talk about anything else when it comes to Rook, because the cannon Rook tends to hide a lot about himself, leaving us with a considerable lack of useful information to use. He really got us all there, huh? Even as he's a fictional character and we're living in real life- he tends to control what we know and think of him-

Group B: Ignoring important features:

This group can get easily mischaracterized, mainly because each and every of them has an specific feature that really makes them stand out. (Ex: Riddle's short temper, Azul's soft and sensitive side, Sebek's obsession with Malleus,...) But paying to much attention to that one specific feature often leads to ignoring everything else about their personalities, and gives them a pretty simple and fanon interpretation which can sometimes be the total opposite of the detailed and cannon one.

•Azul Ashengrotto: Azul's fanon picture had an extreme change after chapter 3, mainly because of how his background and breakable side was revealed; the cruel and heartless mafia boss turned into the soft and emotional baby. This sudden change in perspective stole the hearts of many fans and the fandom in general came to appreciate Azul even more, but at some point it caused his most important feature to be forgotten: Azul tends to be strict about hiding that sensitive side of his, so the Azul we get to see in general is the fearful picture of the mastermind who's taken the magics of many away, not that baby Octopus who used to cry whenever other kids bullied him because he was different. Getting to know his background and true feelings made us forget about his professional and strict side which is indeed the most important side of his personality!

•Idia Shroud: Baby boy, soft child, sweet tooth cutie, pretty little emo,...and hundreds of other nicknames to appreciate Idia and his iconic nature. But in contrast to what many assume based on his appearance and social anxiety, Idia is way different from just a shy yet adorable nerd; this guy is seriously hiding some evil inside. If you go through his stories and get to the points where he's thinking with himself, you'll see how different he can be. While he can't really get to tell these properly through his main lines, you can find him secretly insulting and nagging at how annoying some people are several times. It isn't just about being shy, Idia obviously dislikes many of the people around him. Focusing on his social anxiety and awkwardness causes us to forget how different he is when he isn't forced into a face-to-face conversation, also note that there are many thoughts going through this guy's brain that you probably hadn't thought of.

•Floyd Leech: While Jade's personality is obviously a pretty complicated one, Floyd's character is even more confusing because of his playfulness and seemingly childish manners. But it's important to remember that deep inside, floyd is just as mysterious as his brother. Describing Floyd as childish and dumb is equal to falling into Yana's trap, because Floyd is designed as an extremely smart and somewhat of sadistic character. It's so important to know that he's way more than just a chaotic eel or an playful idiot, Floyd literally has anything needed to be ranked among the most dangerous characters of the game, his personality along side his magic and genius can be quite deadly.

•Sebek Zigvolt: To be honest, many of us are just doing him dirty. Look, it's true that Sebek's often caught praising and talking about Malleus but please do not forget that Sebek as well has got his very own personality! Associating Malleus with whatever he says or does (especially through fanfictions) is somehow fading his character because most of the things I get to read or hear about him involves Malleus. Come on! This is Sebek that we're talking about, not Malleus! I understand that talking about Malleus is legit something he often does but while you're writing a fanfic, please remember that Sebek has got hundreds of features and personality manners to talk about other than talking about his "Waka sama". So instead of just focusing on his Malleus appreciation habit, try to get to know his very own features and personality! In many of fanon interpretations, Sebek is bound to doing nothing but talking about Malleus and only him which is pretty unfair! We should all take some time to talk about Sebek himself, not his obsession with Lilia or Malleus.

•Riddle Rosehearts: I understand where this is coming from, but I want to see something more than an angry Riddle shouting and screaming about the importance of rules and harshly forcing others into following them whenever I read something that involves Riddle. I see how being angry and turning as red as a tomato is his rather famous feature but we shouldn't ignore everything else about hum because of it. Other than his background and mentionable talents and abilities as the greatest dorm leader Heartslabyul's history, keep this in mind that Riddle did decide to try and change his way of leadership and reduce his obsession with rules after his overblot.

Characters that can also belong to this group: Vil Schoenheit, Rook Hunt, Kalim Al Asim, Silver, Epel Felmier

Group C: Ignorance/Lack of information

The reason with this group is obvious, we need to talk about them more often! While they're all great characters with interesting designs and personalities, it's somehow rare to see anyone doing a proper analysis of their characters, either because of not going through their details or stories, or even going through them but not finding anything special.

•Ace Trappola: Both Deuce and Ace are characters who have appeared through all of the chapters so far, which means that we've had the chance to get to know them better than any other character in the game! But their fanon interpretations are pretty simple and sometimes, boring. Most of us don't even realize that we're mischaracterizing them-! I often see them being pictured as either stupid or loud and troublesome. Ace for example, got a really strong plot about how he'd go through a relationship and his past experience in the ghost marriage, which can be a strong guide to how we should picture Ace in reader inserts, but sadly we're just sticking to fanon interpretations and don't give his personality the detail and cannon depth he deserves. Let's note that he can be quite evil, smart, logical and unpredictable too at the time.

•Deuce Spade: Deuce's case is pretty similar to Ace. I'm not saying that he's a totally different one from how the fandom is characterizing him, but come on, Deuce isn't just a chicken dummy! We've learned a lot about his relationship with his mother, his past life, his relationship with his close friends, his hobbies and his will to become a great magician so there's a lot we can say about him! Instead of just sticking to his clumsiness and sometimes, stupidity it's better to consider those features and details to describe him. Not only will it make us have more of a cannon interpretation on Deuce, but it'll also inspire us to create newer and more creative content for him!

•Silver: Look, while many of us love this sleepy guy, we need to understand that he isn't just a sleeping beauty or Lilia's cute son! Let's admit something, we're facing a lack of Silver content and even as we go through most of the existing Silver fanfics and content, it either has something to do with his sleeping issues or his relationship with idia, maybe some arguments with Sebek as well but it's rare to see anyone talking about anything else than these when it comes to Silver. His relationship with Lilia and Malleus, he way he appears in others' side stories, how he handles his tasks and the way Malleus and Lilia describe him is telling us that there's a LOT about him which we often ignore!

•Trey Clover: It's true that the cannon Trey isn't that different from the fanon one, but I can tell that the fanon Trey lacks quite a few of the cannon features. We're giving him a rather solid and sometimes boring personality of Heartslabyul's calm and collected mum who treats everyone nicely regardless of how reckless or annoying or rebellious they are. But the real Trey does express annoyance and uncomfortablitiy from time to time, he can even be quite sarcastic. If you come to get a close look, you'll see that Trey isn't always as nice as he seems to be.

•Ruggie Bucchi: I genuinely adore Ruggie's personality design, especially how he mostly comes of as a mysterious troublemaker but at the same time, he's being a tiny family man on the inside. Watching how he can be quite reckless toward other students in NRC (especially the first years) and on the other hand, be a pretty caring and protective sibling who really loves and cares about his poor family and is working his hardest to support them really brings the tears of joy to my eyes. Ruggie's story has got a lot to tell and this interesting design and personality really deserves more attention and supporters!

•Jack Howl: It's true that Jack doesn't really get mischaracterized , but he deserves to be talked about more often! Most of the fandom captured his personality really good and I can feel his tsundere-ish and protective vibes through most of the fanfics that involve him. He's got a rather calm and collected nature which gives him a more balanced personality compared to the rest of the characters, and can make it easier to understand the cannon Jack. He used to get really mischaracterized back in twst's pre-release, but after the game was released and we got to know the cannon Jack, most of those misunderstandings were solved. Perhaps the only thing that I wish to mentioned more often are the adorable details and his background, especially his relationship with his family and siblings.

Characters that can also belong to his group: Silver, Deuce Spade, Ace Trappola, Rook Hunt

Group D: The healing type (Iyashikei)

Look, the cannon interpretation isn't always the happiest or the sweetest. This group usually get mischaracterized because their fanon interpretation is presenting something better, something that more fans would accept and love. 'Softening extremely dark and unapproachable personalities' or 'spreading adorable and wholesome headcanons' are two common ways of the healing type. Characters with extremely bitter personalities usually belong to this group, because their stories can be too sad for the fandom, so many decide to go for a softer yet untrue way of characterizing them, which is sometimes good but going too far with the softening process often leads to creating a character that's nothing like the original.

•Leona Kingscholar: While I was working on my Leona analysis, I came to understand why some fans prefer the fanon Leona over the cannon Leona. Cannon Leona is quite dark and unapproachable, and you'll find his background and personality in general quite painful and sometimes depressing if you try to study the cannon Leona. Within all of the twst characters, he's got the darkest design therefore it can be quite hard for fans to accept his cannon interpretation. That's why some try to give him more of an affectionate and soft nature to make his personality seem less painful to go through. This sometimes create a totally wrong interpretation that goes against everything that the cannon Leona is, but at the same time many fans agree that cannon Leona on the other hand is just too dark to accept. We can tell that this fandom's favorite Leona is a balance of cannon and fanon Leonas, something neither too dark nor to childish and wholesome.

•Ortho Shroud: There isn't much we know about Ortho and his background, and I can't say that he's being directly mischaracterized either. Sometimes all we have to use in order to capture his personality are the fan- theories, which can really complicate stuff. Best way to know him is by paying enough of attention to his voice lines and hidden details, but it can end up being quite dark if you dig too deep- His background with Idia isn't directly mentioned but there are some dark details hiding through the story that can seem quite scary when you actually think about them, therefore many of the fans decide to ignore those details, and since there isn't much of Ortho content (mostly fanfiction) either, many (including me) decided not to mention anything about those dark aspects...

•Epel Felmier: Cannon Epel is quite different from the fanon Epel. Not saying that Epel is a meanie because he surely does have pretty cute and adorable aspects but the cannon can Epel can be quite reckless, mean and rude at the time while the fanon Epel is always described as a shy, cute boy(which is exactly what the cannon Epel hates to be described as). Going through his ghost marriage stories and voice lines, we can realize that Epel's rather bad with romance, and for now, he doesn't really seem to be interested in any love-related issues either. Writing reader inserts especially can be really hard if you're going to stick with the cannon Epel, therefore many choose to use the fanon Epel instead, a cuter and softer Epel who's quite acceptive and approval of being in love. A considerable majority of fans prefer this soft and cuter Epel, and this is why Epel mostly gets mischaracterized in reader inserts.

Characters that can also belong to this group: Malleus Draconia, Azul Ashengrotto, Cater Diamond, Ace Trappola, Lilia Vanrouge

Group E: Mischaracterized on main

Spreading false headcanons, not paying enough of attention to official details and simplifying complicated personalities are often counted as general ways of mischaracterization. Unlike the previous groups, this group doesn't really have a proper excuse for their mischaracterization, especially as we see some fans are being attacked and offended by some who tend mischaracterize characters in this way.

•Vil Schoenheit: We previously talked about Vil and how there's a pile of wrong information about him spread all over the fandom, from the one saying that he's trans and his pronouns are she/her (Many fans were attacked and forced to use She/Her for Vil) to the ones that are picturing him as a selfish character who cares about no one but his very own beauty, and is bullying Epel just because he envies Epel for being more beautiful than him. Look, regarding his relationship with Epel I must say that he's trying is hardest to make Epel be more mindful of his appearance and manners, he cares to help each and every around him look their best and isn't just focusing on his very own beauty. I meant to add him in group B because how many consider him to be obsessed with beauty and ignore everything else about him like his remarkable skills in leadership and other abilities in general, but considering the great amount of wrong information that is being spread around the fandom and is causing misunderstandings and arguments, I thought it'd be better to put him in this group.

•Kalim al asim: One sentence, four words: He is NOT stupid! While I insist that everyone in the fandom is free to have their personal interpretation and ideas regarding the characters and their personalities, keep this is mind that it's okay as long as it doesn't offend anyone else! How does it feel when Kalim stans are just watching others making fun of their favorite and calling him useless and stupid? Even worse, how does it feel when they're being told reckless stuff like: "Hey, you know that your favorite is the dumbest character in the game?" Let me clear 3 points right here: 1)Even if one's favorite is stupid, you do not have the right to insult them because of it even if you mean it as a joke 2)Nope Kalim is not stupid, generosity and caring for everyone around him with genuine kindness makes him a good and pure person, not a stupid one. 3) People who are saying that he's stupid because of not doing that great in school are just as funny as those who told all of us that you won't be any successful if you don't get good grades in exams. Lmao, dude this is the 21st century.

Of Ice Cream and Lights

A/N: This is a fic based within the universe of @tri3tri where the reader and Yandere!Malleus have a son, Lucien, who is starved for affection from the reader. So...I wrote a story in which the reader is transported from a different universe that has a loving relationship with both Malleus and Lucien. Yandere!Malleus x Fem!Reader ft. Lucien

You woke up and immediately opened your eyes to a familiar sight. The sight of you and your husband’s bedroom. The space next to yours was empty. To be expected, of course, Malleus had so many duties as King of the Valley of Thorns after all.

You slid the covers off and lept out of bed, ready to start the day yourself.

Searching through the hallways, you attempted to locate the wayward Lilia to ask him about the latest reports of Lucien’s studies in magic.

Out of the corner of your eye, you spotted Lucien hiding behind the wall. You turned to the hiding boy and bent down with a smile on your face. “What are you doing hiding over there? I’m not that scary am I?”

Lucien ducks further behind the wall, uncertain if this was a trick or not. You frown internally at his hesitancy to approach you. Usually Lucien would come running into your arms as soon as he spotted you. Drawing slightly closer, you whisper to him, “Are you playing hide and seek with Lilia? Is that why you’re hiding?”

Lucien blinked and glanced behind himself to see if you were talking to someone behind him but there wasn’t anyone there. He didn’t know what to do about this development. You were smiling at him. You were speaking to him playfully. There was a warmth to your eyes looking at him that was never present before. But if you were speaking to him, he knew he should answer before the opportunity was lost. He quickly shook his head.

“In that case, can I get my good morning hug now?” You spread your arms and he bounded over to you as fast as possible. Little arms wrapped around you in a tight hug, face burrowed in your chest and hands fisting the fabric of the back of your dress. You set your arms around his trembling form, soothing whispers leaving your lips. “Did you have another nightmare last night?”

Lucien shook his head against you and burrowed deeper into your embrace. This. This was the contact that he had been craving so much from you.

You readjusted your grip in order to scoop him up so that you could carry him. You rest him against your hip before running your fingers through his hair. You placed a kiss to his forehead and his horns before gently lifting his face to look at yours.

Lucien had tears running down his eyes and he sniffled when you had him pull away.

“What’s the matter, my little dragon prince? What do you need?”

Lucien ducked his head down and bit his lip. What if you turn cold again if he asks for you to do this? If he risks your anger, would you notice him more? He quickly glances up at you again to see patient eyes and a smile still on your face. Lucien pulled at the fabric that remained in his grip and tugged you back into the embrace. “Can you hug me more?”

“Of course, my little prince. Always…” you replied to him. You begin to rock side to side, bouncing him a little within your arms. You begin humming a little song as you card your fingers through his hair again.

“Lucien?” you eventually say.

Lucien stiffened in your arms, waiting for the evitable moment that you’d let go, waiting for the coldness of your tone and face to make its reappearance. But it never came. Instead…

“Would you like to help me make some ice cream for your father? He’s been incredibly busy lately and I think this would be a nice surprise for him. What do you think?”

Lucien’s head shoots up from your chest, nearly knocking into your chin if not for your built reflexes from all the times you’ve dodged his head before.

“Yes, please!” Lucien practically shaking from the possibility of helping you with anything. Not to mention, you were talking about father! You were talking about making a gift for him!

You giggle at Lucien’s bright eyes and newfound energy. Often, you would have to distract your son from nightmares/memories of them and one of the best ways was to cook or bake something. Lilia would have to be kept from the kitchen though. Before anything else, you needed to locate the bat first.

Shifting Lucien for a better grip, you found yourself nearly colliding with Sebek. “Your majesty!” Sebek immediately launched back before you two could make contact.

“Oh good! Sebek! Would you happen to know where Lilia is? I would like to have a word with him.” You smile at Sebek’s sputtering. It reminded you of all the times he would first get shocked from how casually you addressed Malleus. You waited for his sputtering to slow before addressing him again.

“Can you please tell Lilia to meet us in the dining room? I would like to speak to him for a moment.” Heaving Lucien up into a better grip, you head off to the dining room. Along the way, you could hear the whispers of the passing servants wherever you went. It was no secret that the servants would love to gossip but it seemed that they were in more of a buzz than usual. You’ve since learned to tune out the chatter of the crowd.

Soon, you were met with the smiling face of Lilia, himself. He eyes your hold over Lucien before facing your beaming face.

“Good morning Lilia,” you greeted. “Can you please keep Malleus busy for me? I would like to surprise him with some homemade ice cream and…” you bend to conspiratorially to whisper in Lilia’s ear, “I believe it would be a great way to distract Lucien from his nightmares. I think he’s having some again.”

Lilia’s smile grew wider at your plans. If you were acknowledging your son and making Malleus a gift, this surely needed to be nurtured. Best to let you do as you pleased. Lilia could sense there was something different about you. A sort of magic that made you seem brighter than before. Making a mental note of it, Lilia only bowed and teased, “I’ll be sure to keep the King occupied, your majesty.”

A nod of your head towards Lilia and you headed straight for the kitchen. While you had to let Lucien down, this was easier said than done. Lucien would not let go of you so you were stuck with a clingy dragon prince latched to your dress and face burrowed into your neck.

“Lucien? Sweetie, I need to set you down now. We have to make Papa’s ice cream.”

Lucien whimpered. You held longer than any other time he’s ever interacted with you and he was frightened that you’d never touch him again if he lets you go now. He’s had a taste of your warmth and affection and he was not going to lose it now. So, he takes what you’ve said about nightmares and uses it to his advantage.

“Mama, I’m scared. You might go away like in the dreams…” Tears roll down his eyes and soak your dress once more.

“My precious boy. You don’t ever have to worry. I’m here. I’m right here.” You stroked his head and kissed the top of it, right between his horns. “Mama is here. Mama loves you. So much. Daddy loves you too. We will never leave you.”

You set him on the counter before gently patting his cheeks with a handkerchief. Lucien’s hand still holding onto the sleeve of your gown.

With tears still running down his face, you kissed his cheeks and wiped away the tears as best you could. “No matter what happens, Mama and Papa will always love you, okay?” You kiss his forehead and his cheeks before resting your forehead against his.

Eventually, you had to pull away. Lucien let go. He knew if he pushed too hard, you might not hug him again. With a smile and another kiss to his forehead, you patted his cheeks with the handkerchief once more. You promised you’d be right back and Lucien released his hold on you.

Flitting around the kitchen, you located all the ingredients and equipment necessary for the construction of the frozen treat. Everything laid out behind Lucien, you approached him once more and urged him to scoot closer to the ingredients.

“It’s high time we made something new. Do you want to make mint chocolate chip ice cream for your father?” You grinned at Lucien as he nodded his head as fast as possible.

“Yes, please!”

You both set on your mission to make ice cream for Malleus.

Throughout the entire process, you constantly looked over to Lucien and did your best to make him laugh. Tickling him, telling jokes, making funny faces, smearing some butter onto his face. Whatever it took to bring out that smile you loved.

Lucien couldn’t believe the luck he had. His mother’s entire attention was on him and only him. Your focus and little actions of affection was everything. There wasn’t any other thing that could make this moment any better unless it was his father being there with them.

Speaking of his father, Malleus had heard from Lilia of an unprecedented sight.

Obviously, the king had to see for himself what Lilia had reported to him.

His wife, the constantly indifferent queen, was smiling and holding Lucien in her arms as if she’d been doing it her entire life.

Having heard the squeals of delight and the unabashed laughter ringing through the halls, Malleus felt his entire being tremble from the sound.

A sound that you haven’t made since your days at NRC.

Malleus’s stealth was something to be desired at this time. His entire focus on that sweet sound he always wished to hear. It mattered not how long it had been, he will forever savor the chance to hear you happy once more.

Peeking his head through the open doorway, he was greeted with the sight of his beloved with his son, smiling. There was no trace of the usual blankness that would typically paint your face. You were back, his bright light.

Lucien spotted him first. Putting a finger to his lips, Malleus tiptoed his way to you. Your back was turned to the door as you continue to pour chocolate chips into your latest mixture. You were enchanting Lucien with tales of your youth so the sound covered Malleus’s approach.

Malleus wrapped his arms around your waist and dropped a kiss on your neck. Brushing your ear with his cheek, he leaned over you to wink at his son.

“Malleus!” You smiled and swatted at his arms with playful indignation. “You weren’t supposed to come down here yet. We were going to surprise you.”

“How could I not join? You were so beautiful and happy.” Malleus breathed in your scent, content in this moment in time. You weren’t squirming away nor leaning as far as possible without being impolite. On the contrary, you were leaning into his embrace. Going as far to caress his cheek with your smooth hands.

Malleus melts at your loving touch. It draws out the deep, possessive purr from deep within his soul.

With your smile at Lucien and your affection for Malleus saturating the air, he knew he would do whatever it took to keep you here. In this moment, in his hold, you would remain. However, it seems as if you’ve accepted your place by his side.

And you, completely oblivious to the danger that surrounded you, hummed as you danced to grab the first batch of ice cream chilled in the freezer.

Giving Malleus a kiss on the cheek and blowing a raspberry into Lucien’s, you set down the mint chocolate chip ice cream and produced three spoons. Father and son battling to be the first to spoon to dip into the luscious treat. Made by your hands, it was the best dessert ever.

You giggle before scooping up some of the fruits of your labor yourself, unaware of the eyes that followed your every movement.

In the quiet space of the kitchen, a family came a little closer together.

So I just looked at once upon a Batdad, and thought to myself, the same thing, but with Silver? Neither he nor El actually relize that Lillia (that's how you spell his name right?) is slowly but surely making them fall for each other. Meanqhile Malleus isjust jealous and Proud at the same time!

El is 20 and Silver 17 so 😅 That’s something I won’t write.

Maybe Silver and Iliana though? She’s 16. Although we wouldn’t have jealous Yandere Mal... we would have slightly jealous tsundere Jack, lol. Papa Lilia would be doing his darnedest- especially if Iliana had saved Silver in one of her “return by death” runs.

(Also it’d be slightly hilarious since both Silver and Jack have silver hair so that would mean Iliana clearly has a type 😂)

Who is the most doting Yandere that can border on suffocation?

Platonic papa!Lilia for sure. He just can't help but want to take care of his little family, which include this random human darling he took as his own. He spoil them, gift them clothes and itens, takes them to eat in restaurants and to go on amusement parks, so on and on. He gives endlessly but he is affectionate too, hugging and patting and overall wanting to do everything for them. He just miss the feeling of having a youngster to take care of, you know? Even more if the darling is younger than them all, then suddenly he is matching clothes and hairstyles and, if you like it ofc, he dye your hair pink too, and do your make-up, and help you study and make a whole album with photos he took of you and him doing silly things. He deals with your "mood swings" rather smoothly as he already dealt with three older children before and he makes you believe you can actually control the whole situation

Lucifer too. He already lost Lilith and he has huge communication issues so he babies you a lot whenever he get the chance, praising, gifting you anything you ask for, kissing you and overall just wanting to spend time with you - either you want it or not, bearing the condescending sometimes, as he likes to speak to you as if you weren't capable of understanding some things bcs your a human so obvs you don't everything there is to know. Though all this love and care are quickly forgotten when you misbehave and has to be punished again

Rook!!!!!! He absolutely adores his darling so so much, he likes to kiss and praise, and he worships them as if they're a deity and he is just your mere servant, cooking, cleaning the filthy so the don't taint you with their dirty hands and lying tongues. And does it all and more for you, following and giving his rather strange gifts that make you scream in fright bcs omg is that a head? How terrible. It gets worse if he realizes you don't like him though, suddenly everywhere you go you can see his shadow looming over your shoulders, slowly pushing through your boundaries so you can only depend on him and his unique care <33

Simeon too. He is an angel so taking care of people is something he can do with his eyes closed and with a smile on his face. He must be even worse than Lilia in this regard, doing anything and everything to make you happy, even killing, if you ask him to. Though you aren't going to ask for this bcs he don't really let you spend time with anyone else so not to taint your beautiful, shiny soul

I know they're all really old, mature, and probably wouldn't behave this way, but I can't shake the feeling that at some point Malleus, Sebek, and Lilia were really protective of Silver because he's the only full human in the group.

Dude, dude, I had written a platonic yandere Malleus and Lilia on Silver last year around August. But, uh, I scrapped the idea off because I didn’t know how to expand it beyond those two being super overprotective when Silver was still a toddler.

PS: I wrote them keeping Toddler!Silver hidden in the family wing of Malleus’ castle that even the servants didn’t know he exists! Since it just revealed that Sebek is half-human, one of my hc is that he and Silver grew up together and thus, Lilia is full-on papa wolf when it comes to his kids.

The Princess and the Frog

-I’d like to think Sam did grow up in New Orleans, or at least someplace like it in the TW universe. This movie reminds him of home.

- Tiana’s mamma: And the princess kissed that little frog.

Jamil: You and me both, kid.

- Every single one of those boys would all fight for Tiana in a heartbeat, they respect her that much. Girl dreams big and works to make every bit of it real without trying to cut corners. Even Sam can’t say anything bad about her! Now, filthy rich Mr. La Bouffe and Charlotte are an entirely different story...

- Dr. Facilier is Floyd’s favorite character of all time. He just resonates with the chaotic bastard on a spiritual level.

- Floyd: You think it’s really that tough to be a frog?

Lilia: Want to find out?

- At some point Sebek asked if Gumbo was really as good as the characters made it out to be. He got a lecture on Cajun cuisine and is now contractually obligated to try some once Sam gets the shipment of spices in.

Rook: Look at all of that tounge action!

Sebek: Can you not be that way? This is a family movie.

Rook: No. I am, physically incapable of ignoring a perfect opportunity to make people uncomfortable.

Jamil: You should get that on a t-shirt. It’ll be like a warning label to the rest of the world.

Sam: I know a guy, he can slap something together for a decent price and have it here by Tuesday.

Floyd: Can I get one too?

Sleeping Beauty

- If Lilia really did live during the reign of the great seven, then he’s not gonna shut up about how “it didn’t go down that way”. He’ll also joke about how the characters are represented. Bet you anything that Maleficent suffers the most from his little factoids.

- Rook: *points at Diablo* Look, it’s Crowley’s great grand papa!

Floyd: The resemblance is uncanny! D’you think they have the same taste in birdseed?

Sam: Nah, he’s more of a sunflower seed man.

Rook: Really? I’ll keep that in mind.

- This has nothing to do with the color corespondence, but I genuinely believe Sebek would like Fauna. She’s so sweet, soft in every aspect, and an incredibly patient person -her being a fairy kinda helps too. She’s like the grandmother he’s always wanted! He’s a little sad that there’s no way she was really that nice, otherwise she wouldn’t have been one of Maleficent’s enemies.

- Floyd: Why would the fairies take the princess to the palace before midnight on her birthday? Isn’t it kinda obvious that the big bad would already be there waiting?

Jamil: They’re optimists, Floyd. They don’t think about all he things that could go wrong. That’s why pessimists live longer.

Sebek: That can’t be fair, the prince is just a little squishy human!
