MIRABELL MADRIGAL: quality time

most may think mirabell’s love language would be words of affirmation - considering her family didn’t give her that for most of the movie,

but imo she puts her family and lover into two separate categories, and she doesn’t expect the same thing from each.

and plus, she does like affirmations like “i’m proud of you” not so much “you’re stunning” (as much as she does appreciate it, she would just explode lmfao)

she likes living in the moment with her partner, and it doesn’t matter what they’re talking about, or what they’re doing. it’s a breathe of fresh air - and she needs a lot of it sometimes - especially when she’s stressed.

she loves any kind of love her partner gives, but quality time means the most to her :)

i feel like he’s not a huge fan of words of affirmation and acts of service, he’ll enjoy them coming from u, but there not his favorites.

he doesn’t need words of affirmations becuz he already thinks he’s amazing lol. like you’d go “camilo, ur awesome.” and he’d be like “ik sweetheart, ty for the reminder.”

he also wants to show you how manly he is so he is big on doing acts of service for u, but not so much the other way around. XD

gift giving (or ig receiving in this case) and quality time are something he loves, but physical touch still is at the top.

this bitch is a damn love machine, so he’ll take from u and give anything to u.

on top of all this, she loooves physical touch. she loves giving headpats lol. and she loves receiving hugs and kisses, hand kisses will be the death of her heheheheheh

your family doesn’t have much money? no biggie! she love’s physical touch too. hand kisses, holding her hips, and playing with her hair are her favorites :) are this things small? yes. but does she love small gestures? also yes.

words of affirmation she also loves, but the appearance based one’s rllyyyy get to her. “you look like stunning today.” or “i love your smile.” are the kind of things she loves :)

Luisa x y/n pt 2 (angst) (again really long)

(Sad incident)

Luisa seemed off all day and she knew that Luisa has a lot on her plate a lot of responsibilities and work she knew that luisa was struggling and she wanted to help her girlfriend "Hey Luisa…" y/n said trying to get her attention while she was doing something "oh..hey y/n do you need anything?" " Luisa asked "no not really I was just wondering if you were okay…you seem off…." Y/n said worry evident in her voice Luisa paused and wouldn't meet her eyes "n No I I'm completely fine y/n" Luisa said but it was obvious that she wasn't fine "baby…I know when something's wrong you know you can talk to me about anything-" y/n said "Babe I said I was fine don't worry" Luisa said starting to get irritated

"I know you're lying lue' please just let me help you-" y/n said but was cut off "JUST STOP I SAID I WAS FINE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Luisa yelled at her luisa had never yelled at anyone before luisa wasn't like that y/n was so scared by this she fell backwards onto the hard ground shaking she was terrified then Luisa saw her on the ground her eyes widened in fear and filled with tears "Shit shit I'm so sorry I'm so sorry…" Luisa mumbled before bursting into tears and running away it took y/n a moment to think.

her eyes stung and her chest felt heavy after a moment or so she got up off the ground and started walking into the direction Luisa ran into but stopped dead in her tracks holding back tears and she just turned around and started walking away tears streaming down her face she felt so hurt she didn't understand…she was trying to help her and she yelled at her she never raised her voice at anyone before was it her..? Y/n thought y/n was pulled out of her thoughts when she tripped over something and hit the ground hard her legs getting very badly scraped up this caused y/n to finally break she burst into tears and ran as fast as she could sobbing she ran into the lake and fell onto her knees and screamed while tears streamed down her cheeks.

Y/n quickly entered her home and ran past her brothers into her room they tried to stop her but weren't fast enough y/n grabbed a dresser and pushed it in front of the door so no one could get in and sunk to the floor crying her brothers tried unsuccessfully to get her to open the door y/n didn't know how long she cried for.

(Time skip)

y/n hadn't eaten or drank anything for days. She had barely slept. Her brothers tried everything to get to her. James even tried to throw a boulder at the door but failed. Before she knew it she heard a familiar sweet voice "y/n hey are you okay…? Baby…" Luisa said y/n didn't say anything "Y/n please…. please come out I I I'm s sorry…please…" luisa said y/n could hear she was crying "LEAVE ME ALONE!!" y/n yelled.

(A day or so later) y/n was laying on the cold hard ground she physically could not cry anymore y/n knew she had to get out she didn't want to she wanted to just disappear but she just had to go out y/n could barely walk her whole body aced she hadn't eaten in days y/n Left her room and of course her brothers were so relieved to see her okay they took her to julieta so she could heal physically from the days she was locked in her room y/n had some time alone with julieta

"Do you have anything that can heal me mentally…?" Y/n asked julieta paused "Oh darling …. healing someone physically is one thing but mentally that's hard and that's not something my gift can do…" juleta said with a sad look "oh yeah…" y/n said feeling empty on the inside even though she was full of julietas cooking "I do know that talking to Luisa will make you feel better I know you're angry about what happened I know you were only trying to help but she…will probably never forgive herself for what happened she's been so angry with herself she really loves you so much y/n" juleta said y/n was quite for a moment

"I know I'm just….hurt….I I just…" y/n started as she began crying julieta hugged her and sighed "I know I know I understand but I think you should talk to her about it.." julieta said y/n wiped her tears "you.. your r right…" y/n said.

Y/n walked down the hallway to Luisa's room feeling almost scared then she saw her. Luisa stopped dead in her tracks when she saw y/n she knew she was there because of Dolores but she didn't expect to see her like this…y/n walked up to Luisa and hugged her luisa was beyond shocked and stiffend up Luisa hugged her back after a moment or so on the verge of tears y/n started crying "are you okay…?" Y/n asked "No..I'm not okay y/n I haven't been for a long time…" Luisa said close to breaking

"do you want to talk about it?" Y/n asked Luisa started sobbing then and vented to y/n they went in her room and sat on the bed thare we're already tissues everywhere on the floor Luisa cried for hours. "Are 'you okay…?" Luisa asked once she finished crying "no I'm really not" y/n said Luisa grabbed y/ns hands and started play with them like she did so often y/n was caught off guard by it "do you want to talk about it..?" Luisa asked

Both of you had decided to try different hair styles on each other. You had started with camilo first, trying small braids before going with a simple bun deciding he looked best with that.

You stare at him for a while just admiring him before he asks what your doing. Blushing you quickly just say nothing before starting on your own hair.

You think he looks amazing with a bun, very cute. After doing your hair in a bun too for the fun of it. You both laugh as you take colorful hair bands from his cousins and sister to put in both of your hairs.

After a full day of joking around and removing everything from each other's hair. You two will relax. Of course you mention how handsome he looked with his hair up and say he should do it more often.

You are introverted and you usually keep to yourself.

At first you were terrified of Luisa, she was tall and strong.

Luisa nearly dropped a donkey on you day and thats how you started talking.

You blushed so much when you saw her muscles face.

Luisa made sure you were ok and tried to talk to you but you ran.

At first it was a few short hellos and then to small conversations.

💙Julieta and agustín they love to spoil you and do anything for you personally Julieta likes to give you a bunch of food and a agustín loves giving you a show personally you love Julietta more for her being more calm but to be fair they're both the same level as crazy as their family they just know how to keep it under control personally whenever you teleport away so you escaped punishment or their possessiveness they're the first to give you some sort of punishment

💙 Isabela feels more accepted and finally gets out of the perfect mold she personally loves to see what you can do and personally her favorite thing is splashing pigment on you and getting your monocle dirty with it being dirty it's very hard to use so you often can't really do much

💙lusia is the one that will always pick you up and allow you to do most of the things that you like to do such a Teleport and you allow her to relax but that doesn't change her mind that you always need to be by the family no matter what so she's the one that normally brings you home after you try to escape

💙Maribel probably relates to you the most because you are mostly blind in one of your eyes because of the teleportation you often just to wear it because it makes you look cool she's probably the less yandere out of all of them but it doesn't change my mind that she would probably be pretty dangerous

💛Pepa and Fèlix are you in different ways mostly with love and affection so personally they will do most of the hugging and most of the picking you up spinning around doing anything sometimes Fèlix purposely hugs you too tight so you're Monolco will snap so you have to fix it and you can't pepa we'll always have a rainbow over her head whenever you're around personally she likes giving you some of her weather to fog up your monocle so you can't teleport anyway so you have to clean it off

💛 Dolores can hear you from a mile away if you think you can escape when she's around you are dead wrong whenever you try to teleport away usually have to make a small incantation so you can't really do anything she will usually call her mother to see if she can do anything

💛 Camilo personally thinks it's really cool but doesn't like it whenever you especially when you have to try to escape him he's probably the most dangerous he is the most violent I hope you have a high tolerance to pain because if you don't he will be in the world of hell

💛 Antonio love to give you certain types of animals and question you about animals if you go into the future and give him an answer it will definitely make him pretty happy but personally he's really scared that you might leave the family so he mostly just agreed to the family to punish you sometimes

💚 Bruno future Visions are hearse worst thing to do but sometimes he has to do it to make sure you are safe and not teleporting away once your Monica was taken away he will do a small Future Vision to see what will happen and if nothing bad happens he lets his mother know if something bad happens he will take it in his own hands

Luisa let out a shuddering sigh and braced herself for what she was about to admit to her girlfriend “the magic is dying, and casita is about to break, I can’t lift the piano anymore and everyone is looking at me to be the strong one” you nodded, showing that you understand and gestured to your bed

“Mi Vida come lie down with me”Luisa did what her girlfriend asked her to do and held back her tears

She just wants to make sure you’re safe and wants to be of use to you.

She wouldn’t be completely aware that these feelings for you are unhealthy, as far as she just knows, she’s being overprotective.

She likes it when you’re somewhere near her, that way she can keep an eye on you but not to close when she’s doing chores. You could end up hurt and she isn’t ready for that.

If you guys are dating then you’re most likely going to move into Lusia’s room, either forced or not. And that's most likely where you’re gonna spend your time.

Luisa doesn’t have the actual heart to force you to stay or anything else, so that’s where the family comes in.

You make Luisa happy, and they love to see her happy, so you really aren’t going to be leaving her anytime soon.

So, they’ll be the ones guilt tripping, manipulating, and forcing you to stay.

Luisa does guilt trip you without meaning to most of the time. Like say you’re talking to some random person for too long. Do you like them better than her? Will you end up leaving her for them? So, then you have to tell her that you love her no matter what, and slowly end up never talking to that person again.

But as I said, “most of the time”. So, there are times where she knows exactly what she’s doing.

Friends? No.

Like I said before, you’re probably gonna spend most of your time hanging in her room. So, you really don’t have the time to have friends.

But before you were taken, Luisa would kinda try and scare off some people.

Summary: Moving overseas for a once in a lifetime job offer was one of the scariest things Y/N ever did. That was until she got stuck in a twisted investigation of random murders, all with one link but no leads. Closing in on the culprit(s) Y/N doesn’t realize the danger she’s getting into. With no family or friends, can Y/N dare to trust those seven closest to her with her life?

“Please move in with us doll, let us keep you safe”

It’s been roughly six days since you arrived. You only managed to talk to Lusia for 30 minutes before you had to hang up again. Luckily, he assured you he’ll tell your parents that you send them love and so. It’s weird, isn’t it? He specifically asked you to call him first instead of your parents. You wanted to speak to them so bad, tell them what you have experienced thus far, but there hasn’t even been time to send a simple text message to them. You were contemplating if calling them was even a good idea, to begin with. Especially now that the case was at a complete standstill. Besides, Lusia said he’ll tell them you have called.

You’ll seek guidance from one of the boys, maybe they’ll be able to suggest what would be the best thing to do. You were even contemplating if you should tell them about your dream or not. But not now, now you had to stay focused on packing all your belongings as fast as possible. A few more hours of waiting on an answer to your inward battle won’t do any harm. Luckily for you, Taehyung decided to give everyone a rest from the case. He kind of ordered all the boys to help you pack to get you as far away from danger, as fast as possible. In other words, you all technically had the entire day off, even if you have to move and settle in.

Surprisingly, none of the others complained when Tae gave the orders. Everyone seemed to agree without hesitation! It was weird how fast and eager they wanted to help you move, at least you liked to think that way. You even went as far as to ask Jimin why they were so… compliant.

“The faster you move in, Y/N. The faster we all can relax and the more time we have, to do anything BUT work! Just remember, we hardly get days off so, enjoy while you can.” He simply responded

It did make sense. In this line of work, they barely get any time for themselves. Especially since this case started. So, without further due, you hustled to finish your packing so you could make the most of this day. You were on your way to the dining room when two hushed voices caught your attention. Stopping at the kitchen door, you quickly recognized the voices as Hoseok and Jungkook’s.

You were just about to make your presence known when you were stopped by Hoseok’s words.

“-We already processed Namjoon’s scene. I don’t get it, we were supposed to have done Jin-hyungs scene before his. We were all there, so why-“

“Y/N? Why are you standing there? Come help me load these boxes. Have you packed your clothes already?” Yoongi’s voice suddenly called from across the hall, breaking the conversation you were listening to.

Something about what you heard felt off. What were they referring to? Scenes? Brushing it off as nothing you quickly made your way over to Yoongi to help him load some of your boxes.

The move went quickly with the help of all the boys. It only took two trips to move all your belongings and some of the furniture, since it wasn’t that much to begin with. Their home, being as spacious as it was, was just what you have always imagined for yourself. Big, brightly lit rooms, a huge kitchen, dining room and lounging area to match. What more could one possibly want? Your room was situated at the back of the home. It was the biggest guest room you have ever seen. Like Namjoon said ‘You're protected here. If anyone wants to get to you, they’ll have to pass all seven of us first’

Their home screamed safety. It was a total contrast to the world you worked in. It was bright, calming and open. It allowed you to let go of all worries and just… ‘live’.

You knew deep down in your heart you were safe. Nothing would happen to you as long as you’re with them. Besides, your family, right?

“Y/N? Are you all settled in? I do hope the room isn’t too disappointing” Jungkook asked as he peeked into your door. A shy smile on his face as he nervously waited for your answer. His whole body screamed relaxation as he awkwardly stood in your doorway. He was sporting a pair of black shorts, accompanied by a rather large white T-shirt. His hair was ruffled, and his feet were bare. He sure as hell was one of a kind, being able to look shy one second and intimidating the very next…

“Disappointing? What? No, no it does not disappoint, trust me. It’s actually everything I could ever wish for! Thank you” you quickly said. Looking down as an unexpected shyness took a hold of you.

“Ah, that’s good to hear! We were worried you didn’t like the room or the house. Oh, and we’re not that disorganized or messy like at the office! It’s been five days and eleven hours since you left the safety of their home. Five days and eleven hours since they heard you laugh or play your music loudly in your room. Five days and eleven hours since they said goodbye to their baby.

You’ve always been that child, never afraid to try something new or go somewhere unknown. That’s why it hadn’t come as a surprise when you told them you applied for a job overseas. They silently knew you would leave them for something bigger than them. Yes, they knew but it wasn’t like you to not get in touch with them for more than two days. One phone call, that’s all they need to know you’re okay, happy even. As much as they want to be the first to call, they can’t. Since you went halfway around the world, your old mobile number had to change

‘Don’t worry mom! I’ll call you as soon as I can. I promise, okay? Now take care of Dad and Lusai for me. They need a strong woman to keep them inline’ You said just before walking through the first security checkpoint at the airport.

They’re worried. Very worried. They knew you would be to busy to call them immediately, yet they still hoped for something, anything.

“Aunt Lacy? Uncle Max? I just received a letter from Y/N!” Lusai shouted as he barged into the house, nearly knocking over the blue vase full of umbrellas right next to the front door.

With those words hanging in the air both your parents dropped everything they were doing. Freshly baked cookies scattered around the kitchen counter as your mother dropped the pan. Newly planted daisies were brutally stabbed with the small garden shovel as your father jumped up from his sitting position. Both your parents hurried into the living room, eyes wide and hearts full of hope. Finally, even if it wasn’t normal for you to send them letters, at least it was some form of communication. They were sure there was a reason behind the letter, maybe you wanted to make it as personal as possible. This letter would be framed and hanged in the foyer.

Dear Mom and Dad.

I am so sorry for the lack of communication. I sort of got the job and had been very busy with work. I do have some bad news, the case I’m working on is a serial killer case. I know it’s a big case for the first one, but these men really needed my help. The killer has taken a liking in me, so I had to relocate to a new place which I can’t discuss. Don’t worry, I’m safe. That’s also why I couldn’t call you. This guy is smart and if he knew your location, I would never forgive myself. I will talk to you soon, but as long as he walks free, I have to keep my distance.

“Oh my, my poor baby” Lacy said as tears streamed down her face.

“Now, now my love. She’s a strong girl. We’ll write back to her telling her we miss her and that she needs to stay safe.” Max said as he took his wife in his arms.

“Hang on, this means we can’t really communicate with her until she makes the first call? That sucks. I wanted to hear her voice again.” Lusai said, frown in place as he stared daggers at the letter.

“It’s okay son. She’ll come back. You know she will. Besides she gave her heart to you.” Lacy said smiling. It’s true, you were in love with Lusai once, but that feeling slowly faded with the years, yet you never had the heart to break his. So, you lied to him and, apparently your parents too.

Lusai only smiled as he looked down at the letter again. His heart filled with sadness as he took in each stroke of the pe-

“This isn’t Y/N’s handwriting. She doesn’t write this neat, even if she really tries.” Lusai said as he studied the letter further.

Before Lusai could get a better look, there was a loud banging at the front door. A beat went by as all three of them froze. An uneasy feeling settled around the room. A feeling one should never ignore.

“I’ll get it,” Lusai said turning towards the front door. Upon opening it, Lusai came face to face with the end of a gun barrel. Lusai immediately paled at the sight, he’s never been fond of those things. He always complained when you would drag him to the shooting range for practice. Unlike Lusai, you wanted to learn how to use them properly.

“Hello, pretty boy,” the man behind the gun said. A smirk slowly forming on his face.

“Mind if my boys and I come inside? We have a message to deliver”

“So, what do you guys want to do for the rest of the day?” you asked as you entered the lounge. All the boys were there, either sleeping or playing on their phones.

“What about a day at home? We could watch some movies. There’s this new horror movie we wanted to watch, and the newest Marvel movie should be available to stream.” Jimin said from his position on the couch.

“A day lazing around at home sounds like heaven!” you said with a little too much enthusiasm as you took a seat between Namjoon and Hoseok.

“Great! I’ll go get some snacks for us” Seokjin said as he got up and went to the kitchen. This is exactly what you need to get your mind off things. Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung quickly got into a rather heated discussion on what movie should be first. Yoongi was still snoring away on the one couch previously occupied by Seokjin. Hoseok and Namjoon silently scooted closer to you, effectively pinning you to your spot.

“So, Y/N. Have you spoken to your parents yet?” Namjoon asked.

His attempt at small talk warmed your heart even if the question kind of caught you off guard. He watched you curiously as you stared at him, completely lost in thought. His brown eyes help a secret message that you didn’t quite get. His flawless features were illuminated by the light streaming in from a world beyond the windows. A world you gladly weren’t apart of today.

“Y/N?” Namjoon said as he raised his eyebrows. A small smile appearing on his face when you slightly jumped at his voice. His dimples made its grand appearance as his smile widened and your cheeks reddened.

“I’m sorry. I- uh, I haven’t spoken to them since I left, no” You said, slightly embarrassed at being caught taking his very beautiful face in.

“Wait, you haven’t told your parents you got the job?” Hoseok suddenly said next to you. His face was a mix of concern and shock.

“No, I haven’t. Why? Is something wrong?” You asked a bit confused at his sudden change in mood. At this question, the whole room went quiet. Even the youngsters stopped fighting as they all stared at you.

“Y/N,” Seokjin said from the doorway, frown evident on his face. “It’s been like, what? Five days and you still haven’t spoken to them? You're going to call them, right now” His firm voice made you jump slightly.

“Okay, okay. Jeez, I don’t see why you all are so upset over this. It’s not like I haven’t called anyone, I’ve spoken to Lusia a few days ago.” You said, pout firmly in place on your face.

“Who the hell is Lusia?” Jungkook blurted from his position next to Taehyung.

“Oh, he’s a childhood friend. He told me to call him before I call my parents. I don’t know why though.” You said as you suddenly saw the strangeness of the whole situation. Before you could analyze anything further another voice pulled your attention away.

“Okay, clearly you're missing the point here. So, let me help you. They are your parents, right? If I were them, I would be sick with worry if my daughter went to a strange country, for a job interview and she decided to go radio silent for five days without so much as a ‘Hi, I’m safe’. You’re not being fair Y/N.” Yoongi suddenly said from the couch across the room.

His words left a feeling of guilt behind. He was right after all. You’re being selfish and it's not fair towards your parents if you keep on acting as if you barely have time for a simple call. Come to think of it, why did you delay speaking to them? Was it because you knew it would break their hearts if you had to tell them you’re not returning home soon? Maybe it was because for the first time in your existence you felt… alive?

“Okay, I’ll call them” You stated as you attempted to get up but the two stone pillars you were seated next to made it impossible. With one stern look from Hoseok, you halted all attempts of escape. Why? You do not know.

“Oh no, you're making the call right here missy and you're putting them on speaker. We would like to introduce ourselves and ensure them of your safety.” Taehyung suddenly said.

Well, this was indeed a sudden turn of events. You blankly stared at each member expecting one of them to show signs that this was some sort of prank, yet none budged. Reluctantly you pulled out your mobile and proceeded to dial your parents.

After a short while of ringing, someone picked up on the other end. The voice that greeted you on the other end sends chills down your spine.

“Hello Y/N, so nice of you to call. I would have given the phone to your parents but their a little tied up.” The voice was deep with a playful edge to it. Even if you heard the attempt the caller made at hiding their identity, you knew exactly who you were talking to.

“Lusia“You stated with a firm voice.

“Now, now. I only wanted to deliver a message to you and your parents. I owe someone money for this, so I do hope you listen carefully. You know me Y/N, right? So, here’s what I want. 6 Million in 5 hours or I’m going to have to start selling body parts” Lusia said, smirk evident in his voice.

“What? Cat got your tongue. Call me back when you have the money. I know you’re loaded with it. So, don’t try anything with me. You owe me after the stunt you pulled” With a final click the call ended leaving you in a room of seven silent men.

Fantastic. You knew the past would catch up to you, but you did what you had to do to keep your parents safe.
