Vi finds out you self harm
Trigger warning for self-harm, blood, and a blade.
You had been cutting for a while now and Vi never knew, you thought if she found out she’d leave you or scream at you or have you put in a psych ward.
It was a horrible addiction and you couldn’t seem to stop, the physical pain took away the emotional pain.
Vi loves you so much and would never leave but you didn’t know that.
Fortunately Vi never questioned why you always wear hoodies or why you sometimes swat her hand away from your skin when she’s getting to close to a cut.
You made it so far without her finding out.
Until one day she found out.
You were cutting in your bed under a blanket and Vi walked in.
You were laying down and you were cutting your thigh.
“Hey move over I wanna cuddle.” Vi says.
You freeze and then you try to not freak out.
You poke your head out from under the blanket and say you have your period so she’ll leave.
Vi crawls into the bed and gets under the covers while you try to hide your blades but it’s too late.
Vi saw one of the blades and grabbed it before you could.
She immediately pulled the blanket off of you and was shocked.
Your thigh was covered in blood with cuts across it.

“What the fuck were you thinking?” Vi shouts. You get off the sink and try to get away from her, she needs to clam down.
Vi immediately grabs your shoulders and yanks you back, her nails are digging into your skin and your cuts.
You wince in pain and Vi sees the fear in your eyes and lets go of you.
“I’m sorry, I’m just scared….You could have cut too deep and I would have lost you!” Vi whispers.
You just hug her and she hugs you back.
You two hug for a bit and she carry’s you to bed and snuggles you all day and all night.
After that happened Vi increased her protection over you 1000 times.
She kept a very close eye on you.
The only privacy you had was going to the bathroom and showers and even after you were done, Vi checked for cuts.
Vi doesn’t let you around any sharp objects and has hidden them.
She’ll scold you for using a butter knife.
It’s a bit annoying at times but you know Vi means well, she loves you so much.
Even if you do relapse, Vi will understand and take care of you.
Vi knows that making you promise not to cut is a bad idea because it’s manipulative as hell.
Vi does anything she can to take your mind off the the urges.

Sometimes Rosa can’t come to dates or comes home late and you understand because she’s a cop and being a cop means long hours. Rosa always makes it up to you though. Sometimes you want to be mad at her for being late but you can’t because you don’t want her to feel upset.
Ever since Rosa started dating you the more she realizes that Brooklyn isn’t safe for you, you’re a woman and gross men always catcall you and Rosa does beat them up but she’s very close to a suspension, she needs a way to keep you safe.
Rosa wants to tell you to stay inside until she gets home or don’t leave the house without her but she knows that's crazy… she needs a reason to keep you inside without you being suspicious.

Later that night at your apartment, Rosa finally has a window to keep you inside forever and safe forever. She’s off for 6 months, thats enough time for her plan.
You and Rosa are watching a movie late at night and you’re curled up in her arms and she’s holding you tightly.
“Hey Y/n?.” Rosa says. You look up at her. “Yeah Rosa.” You respond. Rosa sits you up and you try to get back in her arms but she pushes you away.
“Y/n this is serious, remember how I told you about a mafia boss Diana Gallo? She threatened to hurt my family.” Rosa says.
“Oh my god, are they in witness protection?” You ask.
“Yes but I need to protect you too, tomorrow we’re going to a safe house, you’ll be there for a while and don’t try to fight me on this.” Rosa sternly responds.
“I won’t I promise.” You say.
You cuddle back into Rosas chest unaware that Diana Gallo doesn’t exist and was just a ruse to trick you into going to the safe house.
The next day you pack your bags and get in a taxi to the safe house. After a few hours of driving, you and Rosa get to the safe house, it’s in a neighbourhood where the houses are like 100ft apart from one another.
You enter the safe house and Rosa immediately closes the blinds and locks the doors. Rosa takes you down to the basement where there’s a bed, a mini fridge, a couch, and a TV and there’s a small bathroom.
“This is your new home for the next little while until Diana is caught.” Rosa says.
“Thank you for keeping me safe.” You say.
Rosa hugs you tightly and she’s so happy that you feel for her plan, you’re never leaving here ever, she will have to go back to work in a couple of months but she gets to spend time with you.
“We can binge watch some shows we’ve been talking about!” You say with excitement in your voice.” Let me set up my laptop…” you say.
“No devices. Captain Holts orders, I can get some DVDs for the TV.” Rosa says.
You’re a little upset that you can’t have internet but you don’t want to challenge Rosas rules because you know it’s for the best. You put your phone and laptop in a locked box.
“Here are the rules, you are to stay in the basement when I’m not here, when you’re upstairs you are to stay away from the windows and doors. No talking late at night and no yelling or trying to get me to change the rules.” Rosa says.
You agree to the rules and Rosa puts on a movie for you both. It sucks that there’s no wifi and your only human contact is Rosa but at least you get to spend time together.
Rosa is so happy that you fell for her plan and now all she has to do is make you disappear. Phase 1 is done.
After a week of Rosa cuddling you and hanging out with you, she says she has to go back to work. After she leaves she goes to an abandoned house and texts all of your friends
‘Hey, I’m going off the grid, I need a break from social media and people, don’t know when I’ll be back ily.’ Rosa texted that to all of your friends and herself and your parents. Phase 2 was done.
Phase 3 was waiting to see if a missing person case would open up, Rosa could fake your death if she wanted to.
You spent all of your time watching movies and TV shows and you missed the out doors, you missed your friends and it’s been 2 weeks.
10 weeks later a search party is called, Rosa is only 3 months into her suspension but it’s lifted because everyone needs her help to find you.
Luckily she paid the taxi driver to tell the cops that you went the opposite way you went, Rosa has your blood and hair so she can fake your death.
After 2 weeks of searching people start to give up and Rosa decides to put your parents worried at rest and fake your death.
Rosa plants your hair and blood with a dead body she found and she later “found the body” a week later.
15 weeks being in the safe house and you’re getting copped up, this sucks and you want to see your friends and family, you decide to ask Rosa to let you outside for 1 hour.
When Rosa gets home, you go up to her and kiss her, you worked up the courage all day to ask her for some outdoor time.
“Rosa, I’ve been here for almost 4 months I’m getting tired and I need some time outside to feel alive again.” You plead.
Rosa is pissed at you and immediately slams you against the wall and holds your face in her hand and glares at you.
“You knew the rule and you broke it, I told you it’s not safe and I’m not loosing you. There is a threat on your life and until I say you can go outside you stay inside.” Rosa shouts at you.
You’re scared, this wasn’t the Rosa you fell in love with, she was hurting you and this is your breaking point, after you were free from the safe house, you and Rosa were done.
“Stop stop stop please!.” You beg. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
Rosa let’s go of you and you fall to the ground, you catch your breath and you can’t look at Rosa right now. Rosa bends down and strokes your hair.
Rosa picks you up and brings you to bed and holds you close, she had to do that even if it meant you become scared of her, she needs to be dominant and show no mercy.
The next day Rosa leaves early but leaves you breakfast. You don’t want to eat it but you’re scared that Rosa will get mad and force you to eat it.
You finish your meal and put a movie on, the TV won’t work and you hit the side of it but the movie doesn’t play instead it’s live TV and you look in horror from what you see on the screen.
It was you your name and everything.
“Y/n L/n was found dead last week after a 2 week search to find the missing women. She was last seen exiting her apartment and hasn’t been seen since. L/n sent texts to her friends and family explaining she needed a break from life but her parents got worried and filed a missing persons case.” The women on the news says.

You calm down and try to think why you’re dead and who sent those texts. Rosa.

When you entered the precinct one time months ago, there was no pictures of Diana and no one was talking about her. Did Rosa make her up?
That night when Rosa came down to the basement, you hugged her and kissed her like she didn’t slam you against the wall and yell at you.
Later that night when you two are in bed facing each other and playing with each other’s hair, you decide to ask her.
“Any news on Diana?” You ask.
“Nope, the squad is working so hard to get her so you can come out of the safe house.” Rosa lies.
You decide this ends tonight, you’re going to confront her about Diana and her lies and whatever she says it ends in you breaking up with Rosa.
“The TV wasn’t working today and I hit it and the live TV came on and there was a news segment saying that I was dead but I was missing first.” You tell Rosa. “Is Diana real?”
Rosa pins you to the bed and sits on your chest and glares at you.
“How dare you accuse me of something like that! Thats it no more TV. I had to fake your death I had to.” Rosa shouts.
“Is Diana real? Don’t lie to me I hate liars.” You respond.
Rosa gets off of you and you sit next to her. There’s no excuse for what she’s done.
“I made her up, I needed a reason to keep you safe and this isn’t a safe house, it’s a regular house, our house.” Rosa says.
Every single emotion runs through you. Anger at her for keeping you here. Sadness because your friends and family think you’re gone. Fear of what Rosa was going to do to you.
“Rosa here’s what’s gonna happen, you’re going to let me free, explain to the press why I’m alive and then we’re done and you’ll never contact me again!” You confidently say.
Rosa laughs, why was she laughing?
“You’re not breaking up with me and you’re not leaving,” Rosa responds.
You run for the door but Rosa grabs you and pins you to the wall and glares at you.
“You’re mine now, I’m not letting you free. There are alarms on the door if you try to escape, there’s an electric fence around the house and you’re not leaving anytime soon.” Rosa says.
“What makes you think I’ll comply?” You ask.
“Because I’ll beat you if you try to escape and I have many many punishments for you.” Rosa says.
You start to cry because how will you escape her?
“Don’t cry love; I have rewards for you as well, including going outside and getting TV time. And some bedroom things.” Rosa says.
Rosa hugs you and you hesitantly hug back knowing you might get beat up if you don’t hug back.
Rosa loves you so much and is willing to do anything for you except for letting you leave.

You are Jakes work partner and you loved his jokes and his personality.
Everytime there’s a crime scene you two act like an old married couple
“After you milady.” Jake says. “Oh well don’t mind if I do good sir.” You respond in a British accent.
You enter the crime scene and its a robbery. You start taking notes and Jake is holding a vase that is very phallic.
“Huh I wonder why they didn’t take this penis looking thing.” Jake says. “Thats vase number 69 it was won at the boring auction for boring people.” You say.
Jake laughs so hard he drops the vase just as Captain Holt walks in.

Gina adds 1 point each to your score board and you go for lunch. Charles rolls over to Jakes desk with a smile on his face.

The entire squad teases you for being so close and so flirty with each other.
You both like each other but you’re both too shy to admit it.
Jake comes to join you for lunch and you’re more than happy to see him eat lunch with you despite his lunch not being for another half an hour.

Rosa comes in for her lunch and smirks at you two. “Captain they’re clearly on a date.”
“What no! We’re friends.” You say.
Jake is forced to leave and Rosa sits next to you and makes fun of you.
You try to leave but Rosa glares at you and you stay while she mocks you.
The entire squad is like that.
It’s so hard to get any work done with Jake without a comment from the squad saying you two should get married.
You thought Holt would be the only person who wouldn’t be like that but you were wrong.
You and Jake were complimenting each other about how good you both were on the case when Holt comes over.
“Peralta stop flirting with Y/n.” Holt says. “Sir we weren’t flirting.” You say. “Thats not what I saw.” Holt says. “Keep this work wife and work husband appropriate please.”
Everyone gathers around you two and starts to make ship names up.
“Is it going to Jake L/n or Y/n Peralta?” Boyle asks.
You both decide to act like boyfriend and girlfriend to make everyone uncomfortable to make them stop.
The plan was to act as lovely dovey as possible and eventually they’ll stop right?
You loved this idea since you got to pretend to be Jakes girlfriend.
“There’s my work wife!” Jake yells as you exit the elevator. You grin ear to ear and respond. “There’s my favourite person in the entire world.”
Jake holds out his hand and you grab it and you two both skip like little kids on the playground to the locker room.
When you get there Jake doesn’t let go of your hand.
“What if someone comes in and catches onto our fake boyfriend girlfriend thing.” Jake says.
You two go back to your desks while holding hands, when it’s time to let go, Jake decides to be dramatic about it.
“No darling I can’t let go of your hand! It feels like I’m going to die if I let go of it!” Jake says.
“Don’t let go, I need to hold your hand until the day I die.” You say.
You both make fake crying noises as you let go of each other’s hands and you both sit down.
The entire day is filled with fake flirting with Jake.

Jake gets up from his desk and walks over to you with his hand out.

Jake comes into the evidence locker.

You don’t know what’s going on, all you hear is screaming from a room in district 13, and it’s Finnicks voice and you try to get into the room but guards push you away.
“Finnick!” You scream. Katniss comes over to you and hugs you tightly.
“Finnick was attacked and they’re fixing his wounds.” Katniss said softly.
You and Katniss went back to you and Finnicks room to rest until he’s done.
A few hours pass and you’re fast asleep in Finnicks bed. Finnick comes into the room and sees you sleeping. He strokes your hair and kisses your forehead.
“My love, thinking of you got me through everything and I’m alive because of you.” Finnick whispered.
Katniss who was in your bed wakes up to see Finnick playing with your hair. Katniss gets up and hugs him.
“I’m so glad you’re ok, she was so worried.” Katniss exclaimed.
“Thinking of her gave me the strength to escape and fight those things off.” Finnick replied.
Finnick looks at his reflection, he sees his scars and doesn’t want you to see him like that. He traces his scars and gets flashbacks of when those things attacked him.
“I can’t let her see my scars, she’ll think I’m a freak.” Finnick said.
“She will love you no matter what Finnick, she’s not that shallow!” Katniss growled.
“Don’t tell her about my scars.” Finnick says.
Finnick gets up and leaves despite Katniss trying to get him to stay. Finnick wants to see you again but not right now. He leaves and starts tearing up.
When you wake up and see that Finnick isn’t there you panic, you wake Katniss up.
“Where’s Finnick? Were his injuries that bad?” You trembled.
Katniss wasn’t going to lie to you, you need your husband as much as he needs you. Katniss saw the worry in your eyes.
“Finnick has some scars and he doesn’t want you to see him like that.” Katniss says.
You leave to find Finnick, you love him not matter what, you vowed you would love him no matter what, you needed to find him and tell him that.
You see the back of Finnicks head and he’s talking to Haymitch, you shout his name but Finnick leaves.
You try to catch up to him but he’s too fast. He can’t ignore you forever! Katniss helps you corner Finnick so you can talk to him.
Katniss gets Finnick into a room to talk to him about Snow, you come into the room and lock it so he has no where to go.
“(Y/n) please leave, Katniss and I are discussing rebellion things.” Finnick harshly says.
That hurt because you know deep down he wants to be with you.
“Actually Finnick, you need to stop running and start talking to your wife, I’ll be outside with two guards making sure you don’t run like a child.” Katniss yells and leaves.
“Finnick, why are running? Why are you running!” You wept.
Finnick looks you in the eye and tears up. You hug him and he hugs back tightly. He really missed you.
“(Y/n) I’m so sorry, I didn’t want you to see me like this.” Finnick mumbles against your skin.
“I love you no matter what! Even if you have scars that are really attractive.” You say.
Finnick pulls away from the hug with a smirk on his face, he makes you sit on his lap while looking at him.
“Oh they’re attractive you say?” Finnick smugly says.
“Yes they are Finnick, they tell a story, the story of how you’re a hero.” You say.
You trace the scar thats on his cheek. He smirks and lifts you up and pins you against the wall and kisses you deeply.
You two leave the room together with smiles on your faces and go to your room to you know, catch up ;)

Vi x injured reader Headcanons
Summary: you get injured doing something stupid and Vi is angry.
You broke your arm messing around with one of Jinx’s gadgets.
You knew Vi was gonna be pissed and you tried to hide it the best you could because you and Jinx would both get in trouble.
You did your best but Vi found out after after she heard you groaning in pain.
To say she was pissed was an understatement, she was fucking angry as hell.
Vi immediately brought you to some care unit and got you bandaged up, she hid her anger really well.
You knew she’d would yell at you the second you got home.
When you got home Vi scolded you for not being careful and putting yourself in danger like that.
Vi went on about how you could have been killed or worse.
Vi continues to scold you for a while and everytime you don’t look at her, she grabs your chin and makes you look her in the eye.
After being scolded she hugs you and says that she’s glad you’re alright.
Vi carry’s you to bed and tells you that you’re on bedrest until she says you can leave.
You groan but Vi glares at you and you shut up.
Vi cuddles you and you fall asleep soon after.
Vi brings you food and carry’s you to the bathroom even though you tell her that you can walk.
There’s no arguing with her, she will win.
If you try to walk on your own, Vi will scoop you right back in her arms and will hold you tightly.
Even at night she will grab you and pull you back onto the bed if you try to walk on your own
Vi will hang out with you all day in bed and will cuddle you and kiss you.
She will replace your bandages and give you your pain medication.
She will spoon feed you all of your meals even if you say you can do it by yourself.
When Vi decides you can leave the bed, she’s still gonna make you stay near her 24/7.
When you get your cast off, Vi will still be overprotective of you and won’t let you do anything.
You know she’s just trying to keep you safe and she loves you so much.
Vi can be overprotective and overbearing and annoying but she just wants what’s best for you.
