Little Box of Bells

Yandere MHA Ficlet

On your way home from work you stumble across a damp cardboard box with the label FOR PICKUP, DESTROY written in big red letters on the front. Overcome with curiosity you open it to find it full of handbells of various shapes, sizes, and metal compositions. You can’t figure out why someone would want these destroyed, but whoever was meant to do so will undoubtedly be here soon. It’d be a shame to see them all go to waste, surely they won’t miss just one bell…

Chapter One: An Interesting Find

Work had killed the optimistic spirit you’d started the day with, as it so often did. Your hopes of getting off early were dashed almost as soon as you walked in the door and caught sight of everything you needed to get done that day. You knew you’d be stuck walking home at night, too exhausted to do anything but heat up some leftovers and crash for the night.

‘Must be a day that ends in y,’ You thought bitterly to yourself.

As predicted you ended up missing the last bus and had to walk home, construction on your regular route forcing you to take the long way around. You were confident in the safety of your neighborhood so you weren’t too worried about being jumped, whether or not your body would hold up long enough for you to even get home was your main concern.

The silver lining to the late night walk was that the rain had finally let up. It’d been storming nearly all day, rain lashing the windows your small cubicle was pressed up against. More than once you found your concentration slipping from your tasks and latching onto the storm outside. If you focused hard enough you thought you could make out shapes dancing through the violent downpour. Sometimes the shapes even made sense.

It was a relief to nearly be home, and as you rounded the corner onto your street something small caught your attention out of the side of your eye. A small cardboard box, dampened and misshapen by the rain. Drawing closer to it you were able to make out the words scrawled in big red messy marker on the side:

FOR PICKUP, DESTROY.

Curiosity overcame you and against your better judgment you bent down to examine the parcel. It was surprisingly sturdy for having been out in the rain for what you assumed was awhile. It smelt musty, like wet dog and old paper mache and was just as damp to the touch as you would have expected. You pulled the four flaps of the box away and peered inside.

You weren’t sure what you were expecting the box to contain, but a cluster of handbells of various shapes and sizes was certainly not it. Baffled you reached down and lifted a bell to your face, examining it closely before picking up another and doing the same. Not only were they different shapes and sizes, they all had different patterns engraved on them and seemed to be made of different metals.

You pulled the bells out of the box one by one and set them down on the sidewalk in front of you, examining them in reference to one another. There were fourteen bells in total, each with a differently colored ribbon attached where the bell met the handle. In addition to this, each bell had a small paper identification card attached to its base as well. Curiously, none of the cards seemed to be wet.

You picked up a bell at random and looked it over. It was a heavy iron handbell, with jagged pink lines engraved deep into the rough metal. It seemed to glow slightly, and was not the only one to do so. It pulsed with an inexplicable bright green energy whose temperature you could not discern. The bow was dark green and the label attached read: The Stalker.

The second was a brass handbell with large black X's scorched into the metal. The bell itself was slightly hot to the touch and adorned at the bottom with a small orange zig zag pattern. The bow was similarly orange and the label read: The Tyrannical.

You caught on to the naming convention as you moved on to the third bell. It was made of a beautiful and solid silver but had been crudely splashed with paint, white on the left side and bright red on the right. Strangely, each side was different in temperature but the bell didn’t seem to have any way to make the metal react this way. There were no engravings on this bell. The bow was similar in color, half red and half white and the label read: The Voyeur.

The fourth bell was heaviest of all, a rough and jagged hunk of bronze that could hardly even be categorized as an instrument anymore. It jutted out and divided at odd, random angles, almost as if it were trying to mimic a mound of harsh weather-worn boulders. Though battered it didn’t seem any weaker for it, in fact the metal of this bell was the thickest out of all of them. The bow was bright red, save for the ends that ombre-ed to black. The label attached read: The Enduring.

The fifth bell was bright and made of aluminum, it was engraved with a shock of bright yellow electricity that arched across the entire surface of the instrument. It vibrated with energy in your hand and you could hear a low buzzing and crackling noise when you brought it close to your ear. The bow was yellow with a black lightning bolt sewn into it, and the label read: The Volatile.

You picked up the five handbells and placed them gently back into the box before moving on to the sixth bell. It was a metal of the deepest blue you’d ever seen, and a cursory google search told you the closest metal to this description was Niobium. It was smooth to the touch and lacked any adornments. It held a type of regal energy, as though carving anything into it was a crime too great to even consider. The deep purple bow was similarly soft and the label attached read: The Compelling.

The seventh bell was a deep gray color, you mistook it for silver at first but checking google again told you it was more than likely a metal called tantalum. It was the most normal looking of the lot, save for a small pink bird engraved near the handle. The bow itself was gray and the label read: The Sly.

The eighth was another aluminum bell, similarly light but with nothing engraved in it. You went to place it down when you noticed something strange. Where before its surface was smooth and featureless, the metal began to warp as soon as you touched another bell, the image of the second instrument appearing seemingly from nowhere. It did this with each bell you lifted in turn and even changed to mimic the pattern on your phone case when you went to record a video. The bow was black with sky blue dots and the label, appropriately, read: The Mimic.

The ninth was a titanium bell, a fact you could tell immediately upon seeing the light reflected off its metal surface. Its deep blue bounced vibrant shades of red, purple, yellow, and green off it, colors dancing and mixing on its face as you gently rolled it in the palm of your hand. The deep indigo bow was situated nicely over its small label, which read: The Metamorphosing.

The tenth bell was the second bronze one of the bunch, where the first had been heavy and jagged, this one was light and smooth. Its metal was polished and it looked surprisingly well maintained. It had bright red feathers engraved in a pattern at the bottom that looked as though they’d recently received a new coat of paint. The bow was an equally bright shade of red and the label just beneath it read: The Swift.

Picking up the second five handbells you gingerly placed them back into the box before moving on to the eleventh bell. It was the second silver one, or at least you assumed it was. It was burnt nearly beyond recognition and you weren’t positive it could even ring anymore. This one seemed to have words engraved on it, a proper cleaning might make them legible. The bow was bright blue and the label attached read: The Vengeful.

The twelfth bell was again, iron. It was equally as heavy as the first but not nearly as smooth, in fact its surface was gritty and as you lifted it up a chunk broke off the bottom. It was dust before it reached the ground. This bell was obviously on its last legs and there was no way it was functional anymore. You read the label anyway, placed neatly underneath the snow-white bow it read: The Decaying.

The second to last bell was the beautiful blue metal niobium, again with no engravings. It was nearly identical to the first, save for the bow. Interestingly, this was the only bell that didn’t come with a carefully tied ribbon, instead it had a thin piece of white cloth haphazardly wrapped around the base of the handle. Bunched up and dirty it covered the small label that read: The Hunter.

The last bell you mistook to be the third silver instrument of the bunch. You were partly right, but in addition to the small label underneath the pale blue bow reading The Vaporous there was a second smaller label which read: Nickel-Silver. You assumed this to be its composition as it was a slightly darker gray color than the previous two. The lines dancing up and down its surface seemed meaningless at first, but upon closer inspection you could see they were trying to imitate thick cumulus clouds.

You placed the last four bells back into the box but paused just before you closed the parcel. It was such a strange thing you stumbled upon here today, not significant in a life-changing way but just interesting enough to recount to a friend or ponder over at night. Life was so monotonous these days, it was nice to have something to shake up the repetitive cycle of work and sleep.

You gazed back down into the box, where each bell sat unassuming and inconsequential. Whoever was meant to pick these up would surely not miss a single bell, would they? It would mean so much more to you as a souvenir of this strange little encounter you found yourself in, wouldn’t it? Surely it couldn’t hurt to just take one…

It infuriated him. Knowing his darling, his possession, was with someone else. It ate him up inside, destroying what little patience he had left. He couldn't stand it. Monoma watched with a clenched fist around his fork. They were with her again- they always were! He couldn't get a single drop of attention these days. Left on read, ignored to hang out with that damned whore.

They were acting as though they were blissfully unaware of his feelings! Were they even thinking of him?? Ignoring him to sit a few tables down with her. They smiled, they laughed- He was the only one who should be able to do that! He missed her so much- it hurt. The sight of them together made his blood boil.

He wanted- no needed, them to come back. Monoma couldn't stand this- it was so wrong, so twistedly disgusting. The blond felt sick, desperate for their attention. He would kill himself if it meant his corpse could spend time with them- like good old times.

Monoma was stuck on the outside, a wedge driven between him and his darling. He had to do something. Anything to get them to choose him over her. His thoughts quickly spiraled out of control, a fleeting thought of killing that whore. That'd solve the problem. Tying them down and dumping bug after bug down their throat- pouring water into their mouth to force them to swallow the live insects. It'd show her how much he was suffering without his love- how angry he was.

Monoma had the urge to wrap his hands around the neck of his beloved and squeeze. He wanted to hold that pressure until they didn't pay attention to anyone anymore. Until they were limp and lifeless. But he quickly shook those thoughts away- no. No, his darling was much too precious. He loved them. He couldn't kill them.

It's too risky to kill anyone. The voice of reason came back. Monoma would get caught. It dwindled down- all rationale leaving. A flare of jealousy and possessiveness spiked upwards. That damned whore placed her filthy hands on his property. She laughed obnoxiously, trying to be cute. He wanted to vomit.

The rest of the day went by too slowly for Monoma. Most of it was spent much too quiet for his classmates' standards, although he couldn't help but be in a horrid mood. He plotted, thinking of ways to lure his darling back to him. And at the end of the day, he finally figured out what he had to do.

The pictures of his once pristine and milky thighs- now lined with superficial cuts- got his darling running back quickly. Monoma almost forgot to put up the distraught act, latching onto them. The crocodile tears were just that- insincere. Although, he could cry from joy. Monoma was finally the center of their attention again!

He had felt so utterly alone, so angry and tortured without their presence. And now they were reunited! The tears in their eyes, the concern and worry- he almost got drunk off of it. Monoma spilled all of his artificial reasons, letting it slip that he had felt so alone and abandoned.

Monoma didn't have to convince his darling to stay with him that night. He cuddled right up to them with a grin. That whore wasn't a problem anymore.

desc. how some of my favorite characters would react to you wiping away their kiss for a prank!!!

notes. i love this idea so much and i want to try it out (if i actually had a life)

𝐀𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐎 ⊹

we already know that albedo is a little bit of a tease. although he may not show it in his face.

he'd probably catch on as soon as you try anything. which is why you need to do this when he's tired. after he's done a lengthy experiment is the perfect time to try this out.

he comes back home to you, waiting for see your face. that's all he really cares about right now. you peek from your room, seeing his face down the hallway. you smile and speed towards him, throwing yourself onto him while giving him a big hug.

"hi, 'bedo. how was your day?" you ask, seemingly innocent.

"it was alright," he sighed, quickly pressing a small kiss on your temple as he walked to put his things down. he looks up in the mirror to see you wiping his kiss away.

he definitely was not expecting that, especially after you almost tackled him from running so quickly down the hallway. there's a few possibilities he'd think might be the reason for this.

— you're mad at him because he did something.

— you're mad because someone else did something and you're taking it out on his kisses.

— no one directly did anything, so you're mad at everyone.

— this is a prank.

and, from the way you turned to look at him and immediately snapped your head back when you made eye contact (don't think that he didn't see your smile), he figured it was the last one.

but he was definitely feeling a little scared at first. he thought he did something wrong and couldn't tell. he just looked at your with his signature blank expression with a slight smirk.

"what are you doing?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

"hmm?" you slowly turn around, doing your best to hide your smile. although you're doing it quite well, albedo notices everything.

you barely notice as he grabs your hands quickly, before placing a kiss in the exact same spot as earlier. he holds your hands firmly, not allowing you to move them.

you decide to take it a step further. you nuzzle into his neck as if you're giving him a hug, and wipe the kiss yet again, using albedo instead of your hand. he doesn't know how much more obvious you could make it that this is a prank.

as soon as you look back up again, you are attacked by a kiss. with absolutely no warning. he gives you no time to react, therefore leaving you with no time and no way to remove the kiss.

"it was a nice try," albedo says. "maybe, next time—you don't make it so easy for me to understand."

you glance at the teasing look he has on his face. it's amazing what little variety his facial expressions have, yet you can still tell what they are.

"that's not fair, 'bedo." you sigh.

he chuckles lightly before kissing you once again.

𝐁𝐔𝐃𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐓𝐀 ⊹

he's the sweetest boy. there's no need to do this to him.

oh, but how you love to torture him. he puts up with it, so there's no harm. he understands it's all playful.

he loves giving you kisses. just passing by you in the halls, meeting up in his clubroom for lunch, seeing each other after school... none of them are complete without at least a quick smoochie.

so, of course, you try and prank him.

you're walking around the school after your last period, and you're calmly walking when you get the idea. he's already got an arm around you, so it's inevitable that he'll lean in to try and land a kiss on your cheek.

you know him so well. he does the exact action mere seconds later. you don't even spare him a glance as you wipe it away, but you give him a quick giggle.

he stops dead in his tracks. "did—did you just..?"

"did i just what?" you say, turning around, with a confused expression plastered onto your face.

he's just thinking what he possibly did wrong.

'is it because i didn't give them any of my lunch??'

'or, maybe i said something and didn't notice!!'

he's lost in his own thoughts. his hand is on his chin, and he's looking down to the ground, going through the entire day in his head.

you kind of just stand there... waiting to see if he'll realize. but, he's completely out. he can't hear you whisper his name to get him out of the trance.

"budo..!"

you wave your hands, but not even motion is getting him out.

you give in, officially throwing in the towel in terms of carrying out the prank.

you throw your arms around him and press a long, sweet kiss to his lips.

"sorry, budo. i was only playing." you smile, placing another one directly on his forehead.

he blinks a couple times before sighing in relief, taking your face in his hands before kissing you again.

"don't do that, y/n. i thought i was going to drop dead right there." he sighs before laughing, his hand on his forehead.

"i'll drop dead before i actually wipe your kisses." you grin, reassuring him with a big hug.

𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐔 ⊹

she will definitely react the most out of them all.

she's already nervous about everything, no need to make her self-conscious about her kisses!!

yet, somehow, you thought that pranking her would be a good idea.

you're both sitting on one of the cliffs in liyue. you're smelling the clouds through your nose, as you lay your head on ganyu's shoulder.

she's already partially asleep, but she wakes herself up enough to give you a kiss to your temple. you, with a sly smirk, then brush the kiss away.

she doesn't believe her eyes, at first. after that, she goes into full panic mode.

her eyes are wide open as she stares off into space. she is going insane in her head.

'nooo. no. did i do something?? do they hate me?? am i a failure???'

her hands move to rest on her cheeks on the sides of her face. hee face is slightly turning pink at how much she's embarrassed.

'is it my breath?? should i have eaten sweet flowers instead of qingxins this morning?? i knew they were too bitter..'

you can literally see the steam coming out of her ears. putting her through any more of this would literally be a form of torture.

you gently turn to grab her hands. you hold them in yours and bring them down, encouraging ganyu to look you in the eyes. you whisper an apology as you press a kiss to her nose.

she honestly looks relieved just to see that you don't hate her.

"i was pranking you, ganyu. 'm sorry.." you sigh, bringing her in closer for another kiss.

she nods and strokes your hair, smiling at you. "that's alright, y/n."

you slightly back up and motion to your lap. you gently pull her down so that her head is laying in your lap, soothing her mind as you place another kiss on the top of her head.

𝐊𝐔𝐒𝐔𝐎 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐊𝐈 ⊹

he's wearing his germanium ring. it's time to strike.

you couldn't help but notice saiki seeming a little more at peace than normal. if you could consider his normal at peace.

of course, it's all due to the thought-cancelling ring. so, you took the opportunity to finally be able to do something without him catching on.

you crept up next to him, snuggling your head into his neck. he'd never been one for physical affection, but this was the only way to coerce him into giving you a kiss without explicitly saying it. and he was smart enough to figure out what you if you would've told him.

he opened an eye to see you, and then lightly pecked you on the cheek before returning to his activity... whatever it was.

you casually wiped the kiss off, slightly turning your head to make sure saiki saw. he definitely did.

his eyes intensify as he stares at you with an extremely surprised expression.

"hello. i go out of my way to kiss you, something you're always begging me to do, and you wipe it off?"

you raise your eyebrows at his immediate reaction.

"what are you talking about?" you ask, trying your best to appear clueless.

his face looks a little gloomier now. he sighs and turns away.

you smile at the reaction, but feel a little bad. so, you crawl over to him and give him a small kiss on the lips.

"sorry, i thought it would be funny." you whisper, smiling softly. he grumbled something under his breath and pulled you in for another kiss.

"it wasn't. if you do it again, i'm sending you to point nemo."

𝐍𝐄𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐌𝐀 ⊹

you were finally settling down after a long day of training. stretching your back and reaching your arms until you felt relief, you twirled into your bed, directly into neito's arms.

"hm? did someone miss me?" he smiles, beaming at you. "of course you'd love me. i'm much better than everyone in that stupid class 1-a. i'm sure you were dying to see me."

"and just when i thought i could get some peace..." you groan dramatically, turning towards his chest.

"it's your fault for being in class 1-a, you should ask for a transfer to class 1-b!! you'd fit in a lot better than with those losers!!" he laughs, tapping you on the nose.

"neito..." you say, with a warning tone to your voice.

"sorry, sorry," he smiles, pressing a soft and sweet kiss to your lips. poor boy, he had no idea what you were planning. he'd fallen right into your trap.

with a seemingly straight face, you wipe the kiss with the back of your hand, dragging it out as long as possible without making it obvious that you were playing with him.

"excuse me??" he gasps, raising his eyebrows and lowering his jaw. the look on his face was comical. "what was that?"

"what was what?" you say, still able to keep your smile contained. "i didn't do anything."

"did... did you really care that much about what i said about your classmates??" he had a whiny look on his face.

you let out a small laugh, but it sounded like more of a 'pfft' than a 'HAHAH'. you bit your lip in hopes of preventing the rest of it from escaping, but you'd already failed.

"ha ha ha, you're so funny. keep my kisses." he says with a squint, applying several more kisses to your face, moving at a quick enough pace that you were unable to block him.

"ahh!!! neito!!!" you squeal, fanning your hands at his face in an attempt of getting him to relieve your face.

he'd already gotten you immobile as he plastered dozens more of kisses onto your face. your face felt breezy by the time he was done, letting you know that no part of your face had been left unkissed.

𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐔 𝐅𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐒𝐔 ⊹

she notices everything. if she can sense someone 5 feet away with a knife, she will definitely notice your little trick.

but that fact doesn't stop you from trying.

you're sitting at the school fountain with her, eating lunch. she feeds you a dumpling as you thank her with a mumble, covering your mouth.

she chuckles and kisses your cheek, and that's the moment of action. you dramatically drag your hand across the side of your face, causing her to turn her head towards you.

her eyes are open wide, but she doesn't look sad. simply surprised. "y/n? what'd you do that for? did you not like the dumpling?" she asks, looking towards her food.

you shake your head and shrug. "the dumpling was really good... what are you talking about?" she notices the trace of a smile on your lips, and then her face returns to normal.

she sighs with a laughing smile on her face. "y/n, was that really just a prank??"

"what? was what a prank? i don't know what you're referring to." you look away, kicking your legs as a distraction.

"hello? the kiss!" she giggles, setting her lunch beside her. "why'd you wipe it away?"

"i don't know what you're talking about, rai." you sigh, straightening your posture. you're just totally telling the truth.

she doesn't think you're this clueless. she quickly leans in and sticks another kiss on your cheek. you reach to get rid of it once more, but she catches your hand.

you're doing your best to keep down your laugh. you reach with the other hand—almost nonchalantly. before you know it, she grabs that one too.

she smiles and simply looks at you, waiting to see what you're going to do next.

you can't hold it in anymore. you start laughing so hard, you fall forward and knock raibaru off the bench. which, in turn, only causes you both to laugh more.

so, passerby can look to the fountain to see two students laughing in shambles.

𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐔𝐊𝐎 𝐓𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐈 ⊹

after being with you, she realized that kisses are actually one of her favorite activities. you can lure her out of her room with a promise of a kiss.

and she will hold you until you melt. you can literally just be sitting there, and she will pepper your face all over. so... of course, you decided to mess with her a bit.

you were doing your own separate activities on the couch. you were reading, and she was simply resting. suddenly, you heard the couch creak and felt teruko's body turn.

you expected what was coming next. you felt her lips rushing to your cheek, leaving a small spot. you knew she hadn't closed her eyes yet, so you seized the moment.

you wiped the kiss away with your wrist, returning to your book as if nothing happened.

and she. is just. flabbergasted??

you.. huh?

she slowly orbits her head towards your face, giving you the worst glare of the 21st century. you can literally see the shadow falling onto her face.

"y/n." she says, still holding onto you, pressing slightly harder as a caution. "i'm going to need you to explain."

she's already got trust issues. what is she supposed to do in this situation?? she can't really take your kisses hostage.

you sigh, discouraged that you were already discovered. "aww, you caught me." you put a fake pout on your face, finally looking into teruko's eyes. they're very scary.

"that's not what i asked." she says, lowering her voice further, turning you to look up at her. she's hovering over you, very obviously expecting an explanation.

"well... it was only a prank." you smile. you can't help but let a giggle escape at how passionate she was about a simple peck.

"uh huh. show me." she snaps, furrowing her eyebrows as she lowers herself closer to your face.

you smirk and press her face closer, finally giving her the kiss she wanted. "you don't see me wiping away your kisses," she grumbled, pulling away and leaning back into the couch.

she had a satisfied look on her face, though, and she hugged you tighter. but, if you ever do that again, don't expect her to be so patient with you. she will pounce.

𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐑/𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐄 ⊹

"you're exhausting..." you heard from behind you, the bells on scaramouche's hat jingling softly.

"i'm just trying to be healthy, explore nature. it'd be good for you to touch some grass sometime, ya know?" you tease, a giggle escaping your mouth.

"you—never mind..." he grumbled, getting closer to you and putting his arms around you.

"someone's awfully clingy today." you slip, giving him a playful glance.

but, you had priorities. with a huff, you brush your hands where he kissed you, wiping it away. you didn't look directly at him so that it'd be natural, but in your peripheral vision, you saw the most devastated look ever.

his jaw was on the ground. "you did not just do that." he growls.

"do what?" you smile. then get tackled by an angry scaramouche. "—hey!!" you yelp.

he traps you in his arms, holding you close and tight. he kisses you with no warning, straight on the lips, going for the gold. you could've sworn that he was more passionate than some normal kisses.

"you," he says in between each long kiss. "are not allowed," he grumbles. "to get rid of my kisses." he says firmly, looking you in the eyes.

you giggle at how easily he gave in, getting so angry at the prank.

"it was a joke, dummy." you tease.

"this definitely isn't." he smirks, leaning in close as he amorously kisses you one last time.

Katsuki Bakugou / Dynamite

The fastest way to get insulted (or killed).

He was locking hands with you while you and your friend caught up. He was fiddling with your fingers as he paid attention to your nails while all the sudden, the dumbass started talking about how great they were, even greater than you; of course, he saw how you tensed up; noticing your body language and the guy speaking louder.

He seriously was ready to blast them to hell, whether or not he was gonna be charged with 1st degree murder and manslaughter.

Doesn't matter if they're friends with you, he'd raise his voice and defend you. Would never, ever let someone disrespect you, especially in front of the Dynamight himself.

Would threaten them to leave before he burned their ass to the ground.

Pretty defensive towards you, doesn't matter if he finds the subject ‘boring’; you're having a fun time and that's all he cares about.

Most likely, due to his persona and fame; he would take you away as quickly as possible, after he insulted them (aka, destroyed their ego).

Would try to distract you once you two leave. Either that’s going to the park, arcade, or a fancy restaurant; you deserve it. After that, he would spoil you more further at home, cuddling while whispering in your ear that 'they'll eat shit.'

Izuku Midoriya / Deku

Would whip his head back to you both so hard that both of you heard it crack.

Him and you were both out and about when then a fan came up to him, trying to talk to Izuku while completely ignoring you, saying some nasty things along the lines of ‘he needs to do better’ and that 'you can have me instead of them.'

Was ready to use All For One to make sure the bitch was in a lot of pain. His blood was boiling; the only thing keepin him at bay was your presence.

He would immediately give her the death stare, while a few veins in his face and neck popping out; causing them to stop talking and awkwardly stand in silence for a few seconds.

He would break the conversation and make fun of them; make sure they feel small, he’s beyond enraged.

— “Excuse me? Go bother someone else if you're gonna say rude things like that, I mean really. You're such a dickhead.”

Doesn’t understand how someone could be rude in front of him, let alone to you? You're his angel.

He would then drag you somewhere else that’s less crowded, saying along the lines that ‘that kind of negative energy doesn’t belong around an angel like you.’

He hates when you feel weak or upset over a dumbass like her. In that case, he would comfort you with food, sweets, and cuddles; it physically hurts him to see you upset.

The best person to bring up the conversation you two were having beforehand, he would love for you to continue going on with the conversation you had, even if he doesn't understand it.

He might have some deathly plans in his head going through the rest of the day. So… R.I.P for the person.

Ejiro Kirishima / Red Riot

The biggest confused look ever.

Though, the most patient and calm-like person out of the two.

As you and your friend were hanging out (with him along beside you), he was waiting patiently for you to get done talking so he could take you somewhere special; while all of the sudden, they interrupted and said nasty things towards you.

He would raise his eyebrows as his eyes were twitching and his head cocked to the side, almost saying the words: “The fuck did you just say??”

— “*Scoff* You really think you're so funny, don't you? Really, you just embarrassed yourself.”

He would be thinking the best ways he could embarrass them possible, either spill something on their clothes or trip them as soon as they leave.

Wouldn't yell like Katsuki but he would start using clever words to hurt their ego and pride.

He would love to beat the person but doesn’t want to waste anymore time with the worthless soul. He would lead you along somewhere else to distract you.

He would buy you takeout once you two get home; watching a comfort movie of yours and cuddling on the bed. Gosh, if he could. He would love to bash their head on the ground but that can wait another time.

An MHA x Parahumans Crossover idea

Because I did the same thing for RWBY x Parahumans.

Which members of the MHA cast would each member of the Slaughterhouse 9 try to recruit for their "Try-Outs" the way they did in Brockton Bay?

Hatchet Face: Okay so in canon Hatchet Face doesn't get to make a selection, because he's dead and the others are picking his replacement; also we never got much of an insight into him beyond 'Serial killer vibes' now for the RWBY version of this I picked Tyrian for matching vibes and there is a very straightforward obvioucs answer here, but you'll see I saved that for later. The least important member of the nine can pick a minor character so: Moonfish, the guy with the teeth

Mannequin: For someone whose whole modus operandi is to find Tinker class Capes who are trying to make the world a better place and break them there really is only one option in the MHA cast and that is Mei Hatsume.....Try not to think about the fact that Mei's Quirk is related to her vision and not her genius and so there's an easy but symbolic way for her to pass Mannequin's challenge of "Change yourself"

Crawler: Crawler's nominations are a unique thing, he doesn't nominate people with any intention of the actually surviving and joining the Nine, all he wants is the strongest possible opponents to fight so that he can keep on evolving and that makes things simple; I considered Deku, Shiggy and Allmight but really, the best possible challenge for Crawler would be All For One, something that gives him a chance to evolve to fight multiple different threats at once.

Bonesaw: Easiet possible answer: Dr Kyudai Garaki/Daruma Ujiko, the Nomu scientist; of course Bonesaw wants a grumpy grandpa mad-scientist to join the family.

Burnscar: Okay so hear me out, in canon Burnscar forewent her opportunity to nominate in order to visit someone she was in the Parahuman Asylum with; so I think that yet again she'd forego her chance in order to basically veto someone else from being nominated. In this instance I'm gonna go with the idea that she saw Shoto's burned face and selected him/the Todoroki family as off limits for the rest of the Nine....Also because when she's not in serial killer mode she's a weeb and a dork and the idea of her being awkward as fuck but thinking that this is clearly the start of a romance is amusing to me.

Shatterbird: She takes fighters and cold blooded killers, or people she can mould into cold blooded kilers....I like the idea that she was weighing up several options, maybe Endeavour, maybe Mirko, maybe Lady Nagant but then she heard about Katsuki Bakugo; a promising young hero who has already proven his abilities, his capacity for violence and has already been kidnapped by one villain team seeking to poach him. Immediately she decides that he's the only possible candidate.

Siberian: In canon he recruited Rachel because she was an outcast who reminded him of his daughter and I honestly considered the idea of taking one of the Heteromorph heroes like Froppy or Mina but then I had to slap myself and realise that Himiko Toga is the obvious choice....Also Toga and Burnscar can be Yandere together.

Cherish: Again, in a situation without Alec Cherish would just pick whoever reminded her most of Alec and initially that was gonna be Todoroki; son of a bastard and clearly the favourite....When Burnscar denied her that I like to think she debated picking someone close to Shoto, like Momo just to be petty, but whilst scoping out UA she found someone whose personality reminded her of Alec; I think she'd nominate Neito Monoma....Granted Shinsou's power is closer to Regent's but Cherish picked her brother to get him killed, I think we all want Monoma dead at least a little.

Jack Slash: Okay this gonna be another 'Cop-out protag vs villain match up' but hear me out....I think Jack would go looking for Stain and be unimpressed in the end, the same way he was with Oni Lee and then start looking for other candidates, if Hatchet Face was dead than I can see him wanting Aizawa as a replacement, if not then maybe LeMillion for the potential and the opportunity to break someone heroic....But, in canon he forewent his chance to nominate in order to have his game with Theo; and I think if anyone's gonna piss him off like that and make him second guess himself and change his plans....It's gonna be Deku, the kid who started with no powers and who even the Hero Killer respects; of course Jack Slash is gonna want to tear him down.

I am semi-literate to literate. I can write a couple paragraphs, but I prefere not having too much pressure when it comes to length. I usually type around the max. length on Discord, sometimes more. But somedays it might be a bit less.

A Deal It Is Then

Summary: Well, who knew that when Monoma was pushed too far off the side, he’d find you. To uphold your side of the deal would be most ideal, especially when dealing with a Kitsune.

“Stupid class 2-A and their fame!” Neito Monoma cried out

He stormed deeper and deeper into the forest of the summer camp they were forced to go back to from their first year. Tears began to prick at his eyes from all his frustrations and jealousy of what had happened a few minutes before he ran into the forest.

Bakugo hadn't actually changed from the person he was back in their first year. He was still the same old jerk, albeit somehow even more. The only thing that really changed from him was how he cooperated more in group teamworks.

Maybe he shouldn’t have gone too far either, now not only does class 2-A hate him, but also his own. He could deal with all the shit he goes through with U.A.’s star class but how could his own class hate him? Him, for God’s sake?!

He wasn’t doing anything but defending the honor of his and his own class’, although he’ll admit maybe a tad bit too far… Now he was fucking suspended for a week, a lot of people also. How was that even his fault?! Bakugo started it, fucking Midoriya and Todoroki backed him up.

So he simply copied the ponytailed bitch’s quirk with a slap to the back of her head and created a taser, using it on Bakugo. Yeah, dumb move. He knows that, and doesn't need to be reminded. If only Bakugo had not said how he should just drop becoming a hero since he doesn’t even have his own quirk and he’s practically useless with having to rely on others.

To make things worse, he called him a copycat bitch. Now that one cut deeper than a knife, it was like pressing salt on an open wound. He could feel his heart clenched tightly at that damn comment. The adrenaline rushing through his veins like never before.

Just as he was about to sucker punch towards Bakugo’s face, Bakugo dragged class 2-B into it. Saying how much of an embarrassment they were that they couldn’t control him. In fact, class 2-A can’t even control Bakugo! How fucking ironic.

After that, all Hell broke loose. And it just started with him. Not only was Neito facing suspension, he was also facing the possibility of being expelled. Yeah, it was just that bad. If only he had kept his cool, if only he controlled his temper, if only…

If only he could change back time, he would. Now he’s facing the consequences of his actions. Now he’s so far in the dark forest that he’s lost. He finds a nearby large rock to rest on at least, sitting down on it he tries to calm down his fast breathing.

Tears finally flowed down freely from his face. He kept on huffing and puffing as the whimpers he let out wasn’t enough to express how much he was suffering right now. The world was practically closing in on him. The forest turned darker and more sinister, only having the light from the moon as his source of comfort. He was hyperventilating, that much was clear. And you being you, couldn’t help but want to help him.

“Shh, calm down…” I rubbed his shoulder gently as I pulled him into a soft hug

He was too disoriented and stuck in his own world to even realize that was happening that he clung onto you. But he was glad he did because after a while he calmed down.

After finally calming down and coming back to his senses, he froze up at the realization that he was holding someone. Pulling himself away from me, he stood up and stood his ground. A defensive pose struck out as he frantically tried to wipe away the tears from his eyes. So that he could see properly, he also didn't want anyone to see him as someone who was weak.

“Who are you?!“ He mentally cursed for his voice cracked, showing that he was weak.

A young looking girl appeared, she seemed to be a little bit younger than him. Keeping that in mind, she also looked pretty innocent and harmless. But if she was all that, then how come she was in the middle of the forest late at night?!

“Is that the way you should thank me?” The unknown girl playfully teased.

“Who are you?” Monoma growled pretending that he would attempt to use his quirk on her, when in fact he knew that the quirks he copied from before all wore off a while ago.

“Who are you?” He just realized that the girl was wearing a beautiful white and red floral kimono that looked ancient, “and what are you doing in my forest?” He also just realized how pretty she actually looked, “Your forest, don't the Pussycats own this place?!” He snarled

“I think you’ve wandered too far, dear mortal. You’ve crossed the borders of their boundaries a while ago. I’ve been watching over you since you stepped foot into my forest.” She suddenly turned serious this time, her eyes began to glow red as a powerful aura came upon her unintentionally forcing him to back up in fear, “Now answer my question, what is a human like you wandering around my territory?”

He stammered, holding his defensive stance even firmer as all his gut feelings pointed towards saying that he’d rather die than admit what happened before. Seeing as he was uncooperative and you didn’t have all night, you cracked your neck from side to side. Letting out a sinister smirk, you let yourself loose from your disguise.

Your beautiful kimono turned even more grander as its trail grew longer and longer. The ribbon tied around your waist grew bigger as its tails magically wrapped around your back to form a giant bow. Not only that but the entire color of the kimono changed as well, it was now mostly black but with a deep shade of red that had some floral design embroidered into the fabric itself.

Though all that was nice and all, nothing could compare to the beauty you truly revealed yourself to be. While still retaining all your natural and beautiful features, they were all accentuated to become even more gorgeous.

You also grew fox-like ears on top of your head, but that wasn’t the thing that drew him in the most. That particular thing that drew him in was so… Intriguing, unique, and completely unexpected. He was practically in a trance.

7 large fox tails sprouted out from your tailbone. You were a kitsune. And based on the 7 tails, you were a powerful one at that. So that’s why you referred to him as a mere mortal or human. That's because you were different.

Taking a deep breath he calmed down, and cleared his head. He hadn’t realized how stupid he was. Why was he so scared of you? He was a damn hero in training. And this could be his moment to prove himself both to his classmates and class 2-A.

He wasn't going to waste it, no matter what. Making a quick move he swerved around you strategically and tapped your back way too harshly. Activating his quirk, since you were an emitter type, he could easily copy it.

Well shit. He felt nothing, as though you were quirkless. But then again, quirk is still considered as a power, but I guess a different classification of power he couldn’t copy. You really were a kitsune.

He didn’t really believe in Kitsunes and other mythical creatures that his grandmother and mother would use to tell him as a child. However, based on the turn of events, he might have to just change his mind.

When he was still young, his grandma was this very superstitious woman. She taught him all about how there were creatures of the night who lived among us, lived before us in fact. His mother always taught him to never pay mind to his grandmother because she was starting to get delusional from her old age.

How he wished that he listened to his grandmother back then… Who knew an information like that would be so useful? No one except for his grandmother of course.

“Hey, don’t move anymore. You're gonna fall into the temple.”

“What-?!” He was able to finish before he fell down to steps leading to the temple

He muttered curses under his breath as he stood up. Patting away all the first from his clothes despite that having no such effect in helping to clean him up. A high pitched laugh rang throughout the place.

You jumped down from the high steps that towered over him. Landing right beside him perfectly, that your stance was even cooler than that of All Might, behind you the large red arc stood proudly. He was stunned, fuck it may be your powers that has such an effect over him as he can’t seem to gets you out of his mind.

“Need help? We can go inside the temple.” You giggled

Stuck in a trance he dumbly nodded yes. You pulled him up and pulled him towards the temple, an enormous innocent smile stretching out on your face. Not letting go of his hand, a sudden clearing appeared from behind you, the stars of the night shining bright without a single care in the world.

“I haven’t had any company in a long while, let alone one that is a human. I guess everyone has forgotten of this beautiful forest. I’ve missed it, the company I mean!” Pulling him inside the temple

If you thought the outside of the temple was gorgeous. You wouldn’t believe what was inside of it, absolutely stunning. No words could describe it, it was just absolutely breathtaking. And that was what really happened to him.

His periwinkle iris grew wide at the site, completely shaking to the core. It was fit for an Emperor, one would think.

“Hey, you wanna get out of this forest right but you don’t know the way?” You tapped him from behind, your smile faltering for a second

Still stunned at the sight of the temple, he was unable to respond, only turning around to meet your eyes but not replying to an answer.

“I’ll take that as a yes then.” Laughing at his dazed state, “How about we make a deal? I’ll lead out of this forest, but I get something in return.”

“N-No.” He spoke unsure

“Why?”

“You could make your deal twisted, I’ll navigate out of this forest myself.” He spoke now more confidently, when I’m reality he wasn’t

“Go ahead, I’m not stopping you. The one who’s stopping you would be the other creatures who live in this forest. You should be glad I was watching over you the moment you stepped into my territory, the other creatures would have done naughty things to you. Be thankful that I’m not asking for any payment in return for watching over you, mere human. Besides once you step foot into this forest you can’t get out, not without my guidance. You see, you still need me to lift the concealment spell for you to get out.” He kept silent, stunned as how the situation became clear that he was trapped all because of his stupidity, “So what’ll it be. He has the rest of our lives to decide!”

“… Rest of our lives?” Out of all the phrase you choose to emphasize that, making him question what you truly meant with that phrase

“Of course, as a Kitsune, I was given a gift of power different from those silly quirks of yours. Mine is more powerful! Also, since the Gods were so fond of me, they decided to give me even more gifts! You could say that I have a really charming personality!” She perked up happily

“What are they then?” Think rationally, if it still was a form of power perhaps he could copy it with his own quirk to some extent, so long as it wasn’t a built up type of quirk.

“Lightning, fire, the creation of illusions, and control over time!” She spoke proudly

“Creation of illusions?” Bingo, if he could copy it to some extent, he could escape.

Turns out that idea was a bad one. Putting the plan he made in his head for at least 5 minutes, he kept revising. Trying to make sure there weren't any flaws. Well sure at first there wasn’t any problem, he just had to use 100% of his quirk in order to copy at least one of your powers.

Which had worked, at first. Running out of the temple and into the forest he successfully managed to distract you by creating an illusion that he was there besides you, keeping on listening to whatever you were rambling on and on about.

As he reached a clearing, he found himself on top of a cliff. Overlooking the entire mountain, below it settled the camp where he was supposed to be staying. He supposed he had managed to lift the concealment spell since he was bearing your power of illusion.

“Boo!” You startled him, tackled him into a high from behind, your tails wrapping around his stomach.”You know, you can never outdo the doer?”

��What do you mean?! Unhand me you, fox freak!”

Uh oh. It seems like when Monoma finally found his usual charm and charisma. It was at a bad time. The phrase fox freak really seems to rub you in the wrong way. Like it cut your wounded heart even deeper.

Getting off of him immediately, you snarled at him angrily, your eyes glowing red, voice becoming disoriented, “Fox freak?! Are you kidding me?! And here I was offering to turn back time for you to fix back whatever that is you did! Fine, leave this forest, I don’t care!” He was completely furious, tears pricking at her eye

Time skip

He was able to actually leave that night, when he returned everyone was worried about him,even more so since he came back with teary eyes and dirt present on him, it was the first time they had truly seen him ruffled up, he did always like to be neat.

His class, who after realizing and looking past their anger finally defended Monoma and stood up for him against class 2-A since it was Bakugo who really started this fight.

It was decided that Monoma wasn’t going to be expelled. However he was still going to be suspended. It was still better than being expelled, he supposed. Everything was going to be fine, they all got through the hard part. What was holding him back now?

Well it was the emptiness in his heart, and the fact that he couldn’t get you out of his mind. He did truly find you pretty and amusing with your extroverted personality. Maybe you casted a spell on him, that’s why he couldn’t get you out of his head.

He had to consult someone, anyone really. He already came to the conclusion that he was missing you because he fell in love with you, it was sort of a love at first sight situation.

Not knowing what to do, he consulted his 2 best friends, Kendo and Tetsutetsu. Of course, they were having a tough time believing in him. Having thought that he might have been too sad that his imagination was playing with him. But Monoma knew the difference between illusion and reality.

And you were undeniably reality, no matter how much he really wished you weren’t. So, after a lot of convincing that he wasn’t hallucinating they came to the conclusion that you were raising a lot of red flags. But that could be from the years of being lonely.

According to Kendo, based on what you had said, you were older than you actually looked like. Basically, you could be a thousand years old yet be trapped in an 16 year old body because of your power, that either being creation of illusion or control over time.

Tetsutetsu also pointed out that throughout the whole time he was explaining you to them, he was sorta having this lovesick expression on him. Moreover, both Tetsutetsu and Kendo had noticed the unwavering blush and smile ever so present on his face. Monoma didn’t smile like that, it was always a cocky smirk that was usually present on his face.

He fell harder than they originally thought. They wanted to be super supportive for him really, they did. But… It was undeniable that the fact she wasn’t human means that they couldn’t be together. To further, she was also so much older than him obviously and if that wasn’t enough, they also pointed out how you raised a lot of red flags.

Based on what Monoma said you seemed to be possessive as fuck. And maybe a bit bipolar… Nevertheless, they suggested that he forgets about you as it wasn’t worth it. They were also scared if you had put him under some sort of spell, causing him to fall in love with you so quickly.

Whatever it was, he just couldn’t get your pretty smile out of his head…

This has gone too far, he had to see you! And so, just grabbing a hoodie, he wore it and bolted out of the camp. Having trouble navigating and forming a strategy as to how he was going to get pass the teachers patrolling in order to get to you, all the while still putting on his shoes.

When he finally was able to sneak behind all the teachers, he tried his best to navigate through the forest. But it was difficult. He didn’t know where he was going when he first came there as he was too busy trying not to cry to notice any of his surroundings.

And even if he did, he doubted he would have remembered any of it. All of the trees were hard to memorize, having the same distinctive feature as everything else.

When all hope was lost, deciding too just give up and do his best to navigate back to the camp. He smelled it, a faint burning smell of fire, something he took in a bit right after meeting you. He was close! He just needed to follow it and then he can finally find you.

Or more like it was the other way around. He just hopes that you’ll forgive him for insulting you. If not, he wouldn’t know what he’d do. He’ll just have to face you, he guesses and beg for your forgiveness.

“Look who’s back for more.” You stated, clearly agitated

“I’m not here to fight you or anything, I just wanted to apologize for insulting you.” He spoke sincerely

“Oh, that… Let’s just forget about that okay. Seems so long ago, don’t you think?” She gave him a fake smile that was hard to detect, “How about this. Let’s just have a cup of tea, I was already brewing one to begin with.”

The tea tasted great, and that’s saying something for him because he always hated tea with such a soft taste. This one, he’s never had one like it before, really. After that you guys dived deep into a conversation, it didn't really matter what topic it was because you kept on jumping from one to another.Monoma was sure of his feelings for you, however he wasn’t sure of your feelings for him.

“I want to make a deal.” He suddenly spoke out

A sly smirk appeared on your face, “What kind?”

“I want… To turn back time.”

“When exactly?”

“3 days ago, before you first met me.”

“Alright, that’ll be easy.”

Holding onto his wrist, he felt like he was falling. Colors of different kinds shone through, a blinding light kept blinking. He felt like he was going to pass out, black stars began to appear in his line of sight. But just as he was feeling that, it suddenly stopped.

He woke up, quicker than ever. To find himself walking with his class, moments before the fight occurred with him being almost expelled. He could change this, he could change everything. And that’s exactly what he did.

He somehow managed to be placed as the victim whilst Bakugo was severely punished. On the brink of expulsion had it not been for his amazing quirk. In fact, he wasn’t even in the hero course now, he had to drop to the general studies, while Shinso would take his place. He was so freaking happy! He never thought his dream to finally step on class 2-A would come true!

“I’ve done my part of the deal, I think it’s time I decided what I want.” She hugged him from behind

He gulped thickly.

“Stay with me. Or visit me often at least.” She smiled sadly

Curiously he asked, “Why?”

“I’m always alone. I hate it.”

“Alright then.”
