desc. their favorite winter activities.

notes. i wanted to wait to post this when it was snowy outside for me but that never came because it never snows anymore sobbing !!!1!11!!1!

anyways this is like a modern-ish au... i guess??

snowball pelters. as soon as you step outside, you're getting a load of freshly balled up snow—the powder having been turned into an extremely dense sphere—straight to your face. if that's not enough, you'll get some down your back, too. oh, how they just love to see your face cringe out of frigidity, squeezing your eyes shut and mouth so eager to speak, yet being unable to get a single word out. they'll laugh with no shame and taunt you, so your only choice is to take a snow shovel and bury them. see how confident they are then, being completely submerged in the white powder. they'll curse you under their breath (lovingly) and follow you around all day, refusing to not torment you by tossing messily made snowballs at you.

snowman makers. they are the most adorable beings you'll ever see. so concentrated on getting the proportions of the snowmen right, even if they're not the best at it. they look at others' snowmen and get concerned that their own may be a little... unsteady. meaning, the head was too large for the body and was constantly falling over and destroying itself. with a frown, they'd be determined to get it back up on their own, (politely) refusing help. once they get the snowman to hold up long enough for them to go find some sticks, you'd fix it up for them. taking a little bit of snow off the top, adding it to the lower half, and reinforcing the bottom with some rocks covered in snow. once they come back with arms for the snowman, you innocently smile, sitting down in the snow as they eye you suspiciously, but smile and pat you on the head. do they know? ...you can't be sure.

XIAO, gorou, furina, kazuha, KOKOMI, albedo, collei, shenhe, ayaka, TIGHNARI, nilou, ganyu

hot chocolate drinkers. they cozily sit inside, watching their favorite re-runs as they sit on the couch. they watch the people freezing outside with a smug look, lazing around and doing absolutely nothing, wrapped in the largest blankets they could find. this is their... fourth? fifth cup of cocoa, and the bag of mini marshmallows they take from is quickly shrinking. honestly, they feel like a teddy bear with how warm they are. you've got no clue how they're not sweating and dying from the heat. their smirk makes you want to toss them out into the snow and watch them suffer, but they suffer enough when they accidentally spill burning hot cocoa on themselves.

lumine, LYNETTE, venti, kaveh, KIRARA, yoimiya, aether, ayato, MONA, xingqiu, lisa, yanfei

driveway shovelers. they are stuck outside all day, working on clearing the asphalt of snow. it's almost hopeless—the snow doesn't stop, so any of the driveway that gets cleared is covered again in only minutes (it's so tired...) and all that you're left with is someone who's extremely close to face-planting in the snow. honestly, they're probably hoping to get hypothermia—at least it'll put them out of their misery. but them, being the hard workers that they are, miraculously manage to finish shoveling, and join the hot chocolate drinkers after their time in hell, collapsing on the couch (and probably falling asleep).

DILUC, wriothseley, neuvillette, dehya, JEAN, keqing, CANDACE, zhongli, thoma, shinobu, noelle, mika

hill sledders. they'll bust through the door at the first speck of light, holding anything that they could safely use as a sled. honestly, they would sled on a shoveled pile of snow if there wasn't a hill, but they're determined to find a good place to sled. so, they'll drag you along, running around until you can spot some type of slope that'll get you faster than 1 inch per second. once you do, they're so excited they'd probably forget the sled on the way up. so, you're stranded at the top while they carefully slide back down to retrieve the sled. by the time they get back to the top, you're already unimpressed, but they manage to cheer you up. they sit you on the sled and push you down, hopping behind you and holding you tight. cause if they weren't, you probably would've been found sticking out of the nearby heaps of snow.

sleepers. exactly what is sounds like. they will be BURIED in bed all day. not even a fire alarm will be loud enough to wake them up—they are completely knocked out. honestly, they wouldn't even realize it. they were just so cold when they woke up in the morning, so they didn't even bother to leave. they instantly fall back asleep, so the only way to wake them up is leaving them until they thaw in the snow.

ohhh my god this is hard but i can do this

so my rating system is that i basically give an 11 to my favorite song on the album, and everything else is either 10 or below.

1. MIDNIGHTS (10.05) 🌠

nothing will ever compare to how much i love midnights honestly. would've could've should've and the great war and maroon literally cannot be bested. glitch sweet nothing midnight rain i could go on!!!

2. 1989 (9.95) 🏙️

this was the album that started my swiftieness and the vaults made it even better. i love this album so much and the fact it's been themed as a beach album now is an absolute yes from me ALSO this love being my surprise song literally killed me it was the most magical bridge ever AKDJKSSK

3. folklore & evermore (9.94) 🧺

yes of course her indie albums are a tie... folklore was my fav at the start but evermore is a grower. evermore has amazing songs and i love it so much but folklore is a great album as a whole AGDHHSHE

4. REPUTATIOOON (9.93) 📰

honestly i feel like this should be higher but i was really only taking songs into account 💔 honestly i love the two sides of this album it makes me so happy but i can't wait for vaults also REP TV ANNOUNCEMENT NEW YEAR'S DAY PLEASE

𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

art is one of albedo's passions, including still life. he's spent countless hours at a canvas and even more simply doodling what he sees along the sides of his notes. but when he's in art class, he doesn't need to be careful about where he places things—he can draw and paint to his heart's content. the brushstrokes never seem to falter, with each detail masterfully placed. there's tiny imperfections that add to the perfection: the pencil markings on his hands and face from blending out the shading, each bend the object, and every single mark—both intentional and unintentional, and so on. he's amazing at it all—almost like he's a printer. better yet, he's got an exceptional memory, meaning he can look at something and draw at least half of it before having to look again.

but with every up, there's a down—now, it's not like he would refer to you that way, but it's how his art takes it. you'll occasionally engage in conversation and crack a joke, but nothing extravagant. yet, he can't help being drawn to you. every time you sit across from him at the table, he'll crane his neck a little, just to be able to get a better look at you. this is the first strike for his drawing. next, while he's looking at you, he can't exactly analyze the object. strike two. he's so focused on trying to talk to you, that he doesn't really notice where his pencil is going. which is the third and final strike. although his project doesn't end up being horrible (it's still better than most of the class'), it's definitely below average for him. but it was worth it—all that time he spent analyzing you was also spent memorizing you... meaning, he now has sketchbooks full of your face.

notes. mwahaha welcome to the first part of my red (taylor's version) event! this is actually so cool i'm going to have so much fun with this

no one expected you two. not even the stars in the sky could have predicted this—you certainly didn't.

it started with longing glances, with deep, blue eyes looking into your own. you were preoccupied in your own conversations, yet you couldn't help but look around. those looks landed on a lovely redhead.

even the extremely dim lighting of the large room couldn't conceal the eyes he was already giving you. with a flushed turn of his face, he broke the sudden eye contact. although being interested, he didn't want to creep you out. he's smart enough to know that would drive you away.

and yet... you still came.

you were the most unlikely couple of that entire room, and you still hit it off. chuuya didn't think it was possible to fall in love so quickly. but from the moment you stepped into his vicinity, he wanted to lift you off your feet and bring you to some romantic cafe on a rooftop.

although you weren't at that point just yet, you definitely were moving faster than usual. by the end of the night, chuuya had a lipstick stain on his cheek, and yours was a tad smeared. being the gentleman he was, he drove you home on his motorcycle. you thought he'd let you go home in a taxi? absolutely not.

you had no clue when he got your number, but the next day, he somehow texted you. not that you were opposed to it!!

you met up on a bench in the subway tunnels, before taking a walk together through the crispy autumn air. although you couldn't see your own breath just yet, it was definitely close to being that cold.

your conversation went on for hours, barely taking time to breathe in between different topics that switched as soon as something else was mentioned. before you knew it, the evening had fallen upon you both once again.

and—for the second time in a row—he drove you home on his motorcycle. the difference, this time? instead of a kiss on the cheek, your goodbye was a bit more intense.

your hand slipped past his hair, pulling him in close as you closed the distance between you two. with your sudden connection, he lets his hands rest on your cheeks, softly gliding his thumb along your face.

it might not have been defined by both of you as love at first sight, but it sure as hell was close to it.

you two were inseparable after that moment. sure, you had your disagreements and arguments. what couple doesn't? but you always owned up to your mistakes. chuuya hates to see you upset—it breaks his heart.

we already know he's old fashioned, so if he ever does something wrong, expect a large bouquet of flowers and an expensive date with a price that he doesn't even bat an eye at.

lots more pampering comes to you that night. expect to wake up the next morning feeling like a cloud and being brought breakfast in bed.

you can't imagine life without each other now. it's worth it to keep fighting your differences every day—you're like puzzle pieces. although, one piece is wearing a hat 365 days of each year.

you definitely never saw him coming, and you'll definitely never be the same.

notes. i love these ppl sm sobs

they're so quiet. the only thing you can hear is their soft breath, maintaining a constant rhythm. they generally prefer to bury their head in your shoulder, but they're content just laying next to you. they're so easy to sleep next to. they probably completely shut off while they're asleep?? you will not feel a single thing. no water necessary. no bathroom breaks. they save feeling sick until the morning. in addition, a kiss on the forehead is the last thing you see before you fall asleep and the first when you wake up in the morning. all in all, they're super sweet—maybe, in a way, pretty old-fashioned. i give a 100/10.

lynette, tighnari, shenhe, XIAO, aether, ALBEDO, jean, EI, baizhu, KOKOMI, diluc, layla, ayato, ganyu

SO touchy. literally can't go more than ten seconds not being next to you. probably have a quiet, whispered conversation with you before bed—about anything at all. it's mostly to distract from the fact that they're feeling you up, but they still listen to every word you say. they mumble replies with a teasing voice as their fingers dance up your back, resting at your shoulder. nuzzling their head in your neck while lightly kissing you there. (maybe biting if they're into that...) if you want to get up to get water, they probably make you stay where you are so you stay comfy. they'll do everything for you. you want a massage at 3 in the morning? go ahead, ask. they won't refuse.

KAZUHA, zhongli, cyno, yae miko, BEIDOU, xinyan, lumine, LISA, keqing, candace, THOMA, kaeya

LOUD. that's all you really need to know—but you can barely sleep. it's like they don't need it. they'll stay up for hours on their phones, talking about the videos they're watching, what they did—anything at all that they can think of. you'd believe they'll eventually get tired and toss in the towel, but they could pull 10 all-nighters in a row if it meant you'd listen the whole time. other than that, they're usually pretty cuddly. They'll grab onto your arms and scrunch into a ball position, their knees nearly at their chest. They'll probably talk to you like that until they realized you've dozed off. Once they do, they kiss you on the nose and cuddle against you, letting out an unbelievably loud sigh. almost comically so. (it might wake you up and you'd have to fall asleep all over again...)

CHILDE, yoimiya, ITTO, heizou, yanfei, VENTI, hu tao, gorou, kirara

sarcastic and mean. can you even get more mean than these guys?? they (lovingly) insult and tease you before dragging you into the bed, tightly holding you against them. they'll most likely hold the back of your head by tangling their fingers in your hair, keeping you steady against their chest. to hear their breathing. they might give you a kiss on the forehead if you get lucky. if you decide to tease them by refusing this kiss, they'll probably spread their limbs across the bed to make sure you've got no room, and that you'll have to climb on top of them to be able to lay down comfortably. that's better than a kiss, in their opinion. you're wide open for sarcasm, teasing, and letting them be the meanies they are.
