even if he didn't sexually assault him, i wholeheartedly believe he physically abused him.

he just seems like he'd have such bad anger issues that results in him slapping the nearest person or throwing something at them

he would have the mindset that if he couldn't get any from Diana, he'd get it from someone else, yk?

i could also see him hitting Diana during fights, especially when she yells at him

PLEASE CONSIDER FOR ME:

Half the BAU are hard of hearing after all the explosions they've gotten caught in. Reid, Garcia, Prentiss, and Hotch are all autistic and occasionally go non-verbal. They all know and use ASL frequently. JJ and Garcia are the only two without much hearing loss and often translate what others are saying for their teammates. JJ signs in all her press releases/media appearances. Everyone keeps noise-cancelling headphones, aac books, and a few different things they know are comfort/regulatory items for their teammates in their go bags. The plane is stocked with weighted blankets and sensory friendly snacks at all times. After especially long amd/or hard cases, they all stay at Rossi's house for a few nights and eventually, they all kinda just end up with their own rooms there even if they almost always end up the living room to cuddle. (Rossi pretends to be annoyed but they all know that he actually loves to have them there.) Rossi often comes home to find one or more of his teammates just hanging out in his house even though he could swear that he never gave any of them a key. (They'll often come to his house if they're having a bad day. The most frequent perpetrators of this are Reid and Prentiss. Spencer picks the locks and Emily jimmies her way in through a window. Garcia made a copy of his key the one time he asked her to water his plants while they were away on a case, Morgan kept breaking the door down until Rossi started leaving random doors unlocked for him and a note with which door was unlocked for him that day under a rock by the front door after having to replace said door four times, Hotch does actually have a key that Dave gave him, but more often than not he'll just knock and then wait patiently on the porch swing for Rossi to get home and let him in even though Rossi always insists 'you have a key, Aaron, you know you're more than welcome to use it and just come in', JJ usually calls first and he'll tell her whatever door he'd left unlocked In Case of Morgan, and you may be wondering, why doesn't he just give all of them keys after this happens a few times? And to that I say, what, and deprive them of their fun? Come on.)

When they stay at Rossi's house after a long/hard case, JJ calls Will as soon as they're on the ground and he meets them there with the boys. Hotch calls his sister (or whoever he's got watching Jack) and she'll meet then there with Jack. Rossi cooks them all dinner and once everyone else has gone to bed, he sits in the living room, sipping on a glass of wine (or scotch, depending on the case), and waits. One by one, the others shuffle into the living room.

Reid is usually first, trudging into the room rubbing his eyes (its adorable, but dont tell anyone Rossi thinks that, he has an image to maintain) and he'll curl up impossibly small on the couch next to Rossi and put his head in the older man's lap. Rossi will run his hands through Spencer's hair and hum quietly. Garcia comes next, wrapped in a long, silky robe that billows as she moves because it's dramatic and she loves it, and she'll slip onto the other end of the couch to lay her head on the arm as Reid stretched out just enough to brush the soles of his feet against her thigh. Then comes Morgan quickly after his baby girl and pretty boy have disappeared, and he'll have a blanket wrapped around his shoulders as he drags an already inflated air mattress behind him that he drops in front of the couch. Reid drips a hand off the edge to brush against his shoulder and Garcia stretches out her leg until she can nudge his with her toes. Prentiss comes trudging in next with JJ hanging sleepily off her and Will right behind them with the boys on his hips. Will settles with the boys on the love seat and JJ and Prentiss curl up on the floor at his feet. Hotch is next with Jack asleep on his shoulder and he settles into the chair beside Rossi with Jack on his chest. By this time, Rossi has finished his wine and he reaches out to clasp Hotch's hand in his own and they fall asleep like that, surrounded by their family and taking comfort in the fact thay everyone is there.

This got a little bit away from me. Oops.

DBD Survivor Headcanons bc I have an addictive personality and this game has taken over my life.

Zarina and Haddie: Kindred spirits, Zarina exposes the truth people don't want to see and Haddie searches for the truth people don't even believe in. Zarina and Haddie don't exactly hit it off at first but over time they come to understand each other, Zarina opens up about her father and how she still misses him and Haddie tells Zarina about her mother and her abilities and they also kinda generally bond over being the only two Arabic speaking survivors. Occasionally they teach each other different phrases in Lebanese and Hindu respectively; and while there isn't much of a difference between the two languages there are a few slang terms the two use often that don't really translate into each other so they make a point to learn them because it's something to do other than die (lol). One time Zarina called Yun-Jin Lee a "prissy, selfish bitch face" in Arabic and Haddie utterly lost it at the befuddled look on the music producers face.

Mikaela: While other survivors are granted Auric Cells on occasion by The Entity and can manipulate them into a clean shirt and a better pair of boots, this process is time consuming and takes a lot of effort and energy. Mikaela however, seems to have a sixth sense for them and can basically pull them from thin air and form a single Cell into an entire outfit with barely any effort at all. The Entity was originally very displeased with the way this girl can manipulate its realm to her whims and frequently tormented her in her sleep between trials, this however only pushed Mikaela further into her studies of the realm. Eventually, The Entity sees this opportunity for that it is and has been slowly draining her abilities (the real reason for the boon: COH nerfs lol).

David: Often fights with the killers (contrary to popular belief the physically stronger Survivors like David, Yui, Chris, Jill, Leon, Tapp, Ash, Jeff, Jake, and (surprisingly) Claudette can actually do some damage to the smaller/more human Killers). It leads to him and these Survivors being tunneled out of the trial before the first generator is even finished more often than not. But in David's case it's a little more extreme as he seems to have become the most recent obsession for The Trickster, who often leaves him knocked to the ground and records his screams after using him as a living dart board, what makes it worse is that he also seems to enjoy David's attempts to fight back. Every time someone tries to comfort him after being tortured or take the agro during trials David simply shrugs them off/tells them to stay out of the way because if it isn't him it's someone else and he can't stand to watch others get hurt for his sake. He also views every mistake during a trial as an insurmountable loss and whenever someone dies he silently vows to do better, holding himself to a degree he knows he can't achieve but stubbornly tries to anyway.

Felix and Elodie: When Elodie subjected herself to the realm in order to save her own life she never expected to find Felix. She hadn't even known he was missing and, despite their history with The Pariahs and the messy way they cut contact after their parents disappeared, the two hugged and ugly cried into each others shoulders for a good hour before she could explain anything.

Claudette: Growing up as an autistic black girl in Toronto wasn't so bad until a group of boys followed her home from school and harassed her until she closed the door in their face (her mother was the one to dry her tears and teach her to throw a punch). Calling back the way survivors actually can hurt the killers; one time Claudette punched Ghostface so hard that it knocked his mask off, making her the only person in the realm to ever see his face and he has held a grudge ever since.

Nea and Jeff: Art bros, Jeff can relate to Nea's "no fucks given on the outside, silently scared on the inside" and sees a bit of himself in her. The two can often be found drawing near the campfire, silently enjoying each other's presence.

Dwight: As more survivors have come into the realm, as in people with actual leadership experience (i.e. Ash, Elodie, Zarina, Chris, Jill, Jonah and Haddie), he's sort of taken a backseat on the whole leader thing; but the others often ask for his opinion since he's been in the fog the longest and might have some insight to their newest plan.

Steve: Since the Steve we have in DBD is the Steve from post-season one pre-season 2 of ST he's still pretty much all brovado that no one expects for him to keep up, but constantly surprises everyone by delivering. Someone gives this kid a flashlight and the killers literally just don't pick people up because they're that paranoid about him appearing out of thin air. Picking a survivor up under a pallet when Steve is in the trial? NO HOOK FOR YOU! The down side of this is that he kind of has an ego about it and when he messes up he gets real heated and it's an argument with David that starts this sort of rivals to besties arc where they get angry and wail on each other until they can't stand and then laugh about it after, Tapp (poor soul) tried to separate them one time and he got kicked in the balls for his troubles and Ash laughed so hard he choked. Steve's also been a little lonely since Nancy and Jonathan disappeared from the realm (I wasn't able to get them before the chapter was pulled so they're not in my game 😭) and he hopes they're both okay and are taking care of Dustin and the other kids for him.

Communicate with me! I will not know what is going on if you don't communicate. If there's a scene you want to do, if you have to be offline for a while, etc don't be afraid to talk to me! I will do the same.

I welcome any and all identity headcanons except if you make gay characters straight. I often headcanon characters as trans myself.

I am open to ship suggestions, I will tell you if it makes me uncomfortable but if you suggest an obviously problematic ship I will simply block you.

I prefer long responses, but I will try my best to match whatever length you use.

I will not play abusive characters if they are a main character. If they're a side character that is fine, but if they are a main character I won't do it.

I do not have triggers but if you're going to include something that could be triggering please warn me first, it makes me uncomfortable when those kinds of things are suddenly sprung on me.

If you do not follow these rules you will be given a max of three warnings before I will just block you and/or stop replying.

Ok but I know Spencer is the type to want to financially support the authors as much as possible (he is literally subscribed to all the diaries ever) but considering he had been on his own since....forever (obligatory William Reid slander here), I like to headcanon that before he took part on the FBI and his income wasn't THAT stable, he would just.... go on book store, do this thing where it seems like you are simply staring on the intro and stuff, and read like half a book before anyone gets too suspicious.

The last day of the Faire, the sky was overcast, with rumbles of thunder in the far distance. As Mayor Nat stepped up to the podium set up in front of town hall, a small crowd gathered to hear the announcement. She proceeded to declare Pandora Flowers as the winner of the costume contest, and withdrew the sword to present to the winner of the tournament, Morgan Vovk.

Before she could, though, Quinn Buckley from the commune ran up on stage and grabbed the microphone from the podium.

“Listen! You have to listen. This, all of this, is because of a being far greater than us! It sent the creatures from the woods to test us! To separate the weak from the strong. It judges us because it wants us to be ready before it reveals itself. We have to listen! We have to—“

Sheriff Henry attempted to take the microphone from her, but she struggled against him, still shouting into the microphone.

“It’s real! I felt its presence! Those that listen will be saved!”

Thunder rumbled, closer than before, much closer. A loud crack of lightning illuminated the sky, blindingly bright. Beyond the clouds, briefly visible in that split second, loomed a shape, unrecognizable and massive, both bulbous and gangly. As quickly as it appeared it was gone, and what remained was the sizzling body of Tristan Wilde, struck by the lightning. The sky opened up, then, as thunder boomed directly above, and rain and hail pelted the town.

“It’s there! You all saw it! It’s real! We have to submit!” Quinn wailed, as Henry attempted to pull her off the stage. “I can prove it! I can walk amongst them untouched! I’ve been chosen! You can be chosen too!”

Her cries fell away in the deafening downpour, and those that had gathered scattered to find shelter in the nearest buildings. Whether or not they saw something or, if they did, if they believe what they saw, remains to be seen.

The storm raged on through the night, as the creatures wandered the streets unperturbed by the rain and hail. The lights of the town flickered and then, as lightning staggered across the sky, everything went dark.

(Those that ran to find shelter found themselves stuck for the night. Below you’ll find the (randomly selected) groups. You can choose for your characters to have seen the shape in the sky, to have not seen it, or to have seen it and not believe it.

Everyone can continue/finish their event threads, as all this took place on the final day of the Faire (the 29th). You may also time-jump threads, headcanon threads, or make new threads for the plot drop. The event officially ends on August 5th, at which time please do not make any more event starters, however you can continue all threads until completion.)

in your a/n for the birds and the bees i’ve seen you imply that spencer is a survivor or csa a few times. is this based off cues in the show or just purely for character building in your fics? i don’t mean to sound critical i’m just genuinely curious.

Hey friend! No worries, I know it’s not something a lot of people consider. I could explain it all, but @tobias-hankel has already done so in a very thorough and helpful manner, which you can read here.

Ultimately, it’s a headcanon I’ve held since I first watched the show, before I even saw other people talking about it. But I also recognize it’s not explicitly said, so it’s totally fine if you don’t share the headcanon! Because of my own life experiences, I greatly enjoy writing extensively on the concept of “innocence” and how it can impact a person’s self-worth and their relationship with others, which is a big part of TB&TB for me.

Also, aside from William Reid, you could also consider him a canonical victim of CSA because he was a child when he was attacked in high school (described in “Elephants Memory”), which can be considered a sex crime depending on your definition.

Spencer's trust issues have been prominent for the majority of his life, and he finds it so incredibly hard to trust anyone from his childhood, but the more people that leave, and the more lies he gets told by people he loves, the worse it gets. Like an old wound getting opened up again and again.

So it takes him a while to let his guard down and properly trust you because he really can't stand being hurt again especially when he already feels an emotional attachment to you.

It actually happens a few months after you've become close when he starts to push you away, contrasting how he usually is. So when he tells you not to come over for your usual Friday night movie, you get his favorite take-out and immediately go over.

The first thing you notice is that he's crying, clearly trying to hide it and put on a smile for you but his eyes are a little too blood-shocked and his voice cracks a little too much.

You're firm but gentle with him, telling him there's no way you're leaving, whether you watch movies in silence all night or deep talk. It's the first time you've ever seen him be anything but strong and he breaks down because of how much support you offer.

The hostility he showed you over the prior week was because that Friday night was the anniversary of his dad leaving, and he can't forget it even though he really tries.

It was the first time someone left him, and it hung like a heavy cloud over his head for years. It's grief that randomly starts hurting from time to time, but this was exactly two decades after and it hurt a lot more.

His brain immediately jumps to you leaving but all you do is hug him, letting him cry for as long as he needs. When he feels comfortable spilling all the innermost feelings, he realizes he can trust you to stick around.

Random BAU headcanons

these all live in my head rent free. enjoy

Spencer does not like iced coffee. Not because of the taste he actually finds that quite nice, but because of the condensation that gathers around the cup

Emily and Spencer vibe to Panic! At the Disco together and will often sing their songs during karaoke drunk out of their minds

Penelope writes everything on post-its—reminders, plans, phone numbers, addresses—everything. She will eventually loose them and forget about them

Hotch gets clingy when he’s drunk and will tell all the team members what he loves about them

Dave has a pool, he never uses it so he will sometimes come home to find Will and JJ with Henry and Michael chilling there. He knows they broke in but he doesn’t care and offers them dinner

Spencer can’t sing, he is basically tone deaf but one day he has a little too much to drink and starts playing piano and the team is a little amazed at how good he is. When questioned about it later he will 100% deny it

Morgan coaches a little league baseball team and will have arguments with Hotch about who the best coach is even though they coach completely different sports

Spencer is prone to dropping his contacts down the sink so the rest of the team starts carrying spares since they’re tired of him squinting the whole day because he also forgot his frames back home

Hotch will cuddle whoever he is sharing a room with, Emily teases him about it but is also always the first to volunteer to room with him

Spencer once caught JJ watching YouTube videos on how to do magic tricks to be “cooler than uncle Spencer” (he spends four hours teaching her a simple card trick that she is insanely proud of)

Rossi kisses each of them goodnight before they all go back to their hotel rooms

JJ reads Henry and Michael a bedtime story every night when they are on a case, Morgan, Emily, and Spencer all sit around her to listen too

They are all the type of people who when one is in the shower the other one is getting ready or using the toilet

Garcia plans a ‘surprise’ birthday party for each member of the team. They all know about it but act surprised just to see her grin when they do

Emily refuses to play scrabble with Spencer after one time he absolutely destroyed her and bragged about it for a month

If someone eats Spencer’s chocolate sprinkles donut they will deal with the silent treatment form him and disappointed looks from the rest of the team for a week

They all have Snapchat and send each other snaps throughout the day even when they’re at work. “Reid you don’t have to send me the picture of the dead spider, I killed it”

Jeid confession never happened and it was all a fever dream
