banshee headcanons (my COD OC)

(is it headcanons if it's an oc??)

first off all, banshee's personal information :3

this is very shittily made but i tried😭 first version is the file kate has, the second is the file the rest of the team has access to. the completely uncensored version is in possession of the canadian military

anywho! onto the HCs :3

sylvia aka banshee uses they/he/she and is agender

his music taste kinda scares price

once got fed up with soap waking everyone up at 0500 with the scottish national anthem so they woke everyone up at 0400 by NGSUNC by ayesha erotica with the speaker placed right outside soap's door

they laughed so fucking hard when they heard soap fall out of bed

they were gonna use make u cum but she knew price would probably pass away if he woke up to that

she is absolutely a barracks bunny

has also been buried alive (more than once)

biggest mommy and daddy issues haver

plays emo boy by ayesha erotica and stares at ghost and könig while it plays

listens to fuck like this with horangi (it's their theme song)

refused to tell the team her actual name (sylvia morte) for the longest time, they only knew him as banshee for almost two years

got her callsign because she always screams during battle

callsign was almost 'mortician'

has a french accent, but it's french canadian

once used canadian french to convince soap he didn't know french at all

he actually regularly has conversations with kate in candian-french because kate is the only other person that sylvia knows who can speak it

it took almost 4 months for 141 to actually find out sylvia was afab because they kept their face covered all the time

during that time soap called banshee a twink because he was convinced that banshee was a gay man

joined the military at 16 and jumped right into the special forces

he was born in france but moved to canada when they were 2

a week after the NGSUNC incident sylvia woke everyone up again at 0400 with the hands up ayesha erotica remix (the extended version)

made it a point to climb somewhere really high and hard to reach with the speaker and curled up and hid so no one would catch her and turn the music off

despite being himself and pretty goofy with the TF141, the recruits she handles as a sergeant see a very different and much scarier side to sylvia

has been compared to ghost by said recruits in terms of pure intimidation

on a bad day sylvia beat up a recruit who was twice her size and weight for making a small joke about her body

that also didn't help with her image among recruits

now he just accepts it and plays into their image of him

is the reason soap did the tide pod challenge

"your name is soap, it's like self-cannibalism, do it."

he did do it and then sylvia felt bad because he actually did it

freaked out when soap put the tide pop in his mouth, freaked out even more when he actually swallowed it

"why did you swallow it?! actually forget why, how did you swallow it?! wasn't it disgusting?!"

introduced gaz to g-idle

sylvia's bias is yuqi, gaz's is shuhua

also a pyromaniac

got arrested with soap in croatia for arson

was also picked up and reemed by kate for it, even more than soap was

has on multiple occasions called kate mom

has never called price dad but LOVES to call him 'old man' and 'grandpa' also calls him 'pops' sometimes

loves buying price anything with "world's best grandpa" and simliar things on it

first time the team saw sylvia crying was on the anniversary of her child's death

which is also the first time they find out she was a mom at one point

when they found him, it was just after dinner and banshee was crying in the empty common rooms alone

when they found out why, they decided to ask to see pictures of her son and asked about yhe stories behind the pictures

sylvi really didn't realize until later that night how much them doing that made her feel better, how much she appreciated it

simon occasionally will ask her to send her pictures of her son and the story behind the photo

in return sylvia asks ghost to tell them stories about his childhood, any good memories he has

they eventually bond over having poor childhoods and not so good parents

prank wars become prank terrorist attacks when sylvia is involved

once pranked price by replacing all his cigars with fake ones filled with random herbs (sage, roses, chamomile, lavender, etc...) and all his whiskey with iced tea

she pranked soap by filling his room with bars of soap while he was away on a solo mission

poor man came back, ready for bed, only to be met with thousands of soap bars glued to every surface of his room. even his blankets, sheets and pillows were individually lined with soap

put a raccoon in gaz's room as a prank

pranked ghost by embrodiering all of his balaclavas (except one, which she hid) with cute things like hearts, flowers and such, one of them even had hello kitty amd kuromi embrodiered on it

he refuses to admit he kept the hello kitty/kuromi one

is 100% the person at the sleepover to just say something stupid when it's dead silent and everyone is trying to sleep

one time during a mission the team was camping out and while everyone was trying to sleep, it'd been quite for probably 10 minutes, sylvia just randomly blurted out "tiddies" and soap laughed so hard he stopped breathing for a good 30 seconds

banshee goes nonverbal as well

but the team cannot take the poor woman seriously when she is angry and nonverbal

her angry little face and hands signing wildly and they just cant take her seriously because she just looks like a very angry child

has thrown a chair to prove her point during those moments and it didn't even help

ghost just jokingly went "i didn't even realize you were strong enough to lift a chair over your head"

that ended with a ghost having a bruised cheekbone and price having to hold sylvia back from legitimately pouncing on ghost out of anger

when she calmed down she apologized by saying "sorry i punched you in the face and bruised your cheek... i was aiming to give you a black eye"

ghost just laughed at that and accepted the apology

in conclusion, banshee stands out like a sore thumb among the boys but she also compliments the team really well

laswell refers to the 141 as her boys, she loves to embarrass them like a mom would

soap and ghost are ATTROCIOUS at cooking

price is pretty good at it, can make quite a lot but struggles with a few harder recipes (and also somehow cannot make instant noodles)

gaz is a GOD in the kitchen but he hates cooking

soap is not allowed in the kitchen alone, once set the kitchen in fire trying to get a glass of water

awkward day on base when that happened

"sorry, can't go into the kitchen, the explosions specialist set it on fire trying to get a drink"

soap listens to classic rock and metal only (and katy perry but he will never admit it)

gaz listens to (shocking literally everyone on the team) music from the 40's, 50's and 60's. he listens to some modern music but he just ADORES the vintage music, especially jazz.

gaz and soap also like therapy

like genuinely enjoy it

gaz has to hype himself up before his appointments though

soap hypes the therapist up

price is neutral, he'd prefer to just smoke and drink to deal with his problems but understands that talking about them with a professional is the best option

ghost, as mentioned before, hates therapy with a burning passion but goes anyway

mostly because he knows he will be put on probation if he doesn't

but also because he knows that he needs the help even if he doesn't want to admit it

also after one of his first month of going to all his appointments that month without skipping one at all, price told simon he was proud of him and now he uses that as motiva to go to his appointments

price knows how to use technology in the weirdest ways

can operate a drone but cannot for the life of him figure out QR codes

a pretty decent hacker but do NOT ask him what any text slang aside from "lol" and "lmao" is. he does not know.

doesn't know that emojis have different meanings depending on context

once said "simon's in the hospital😭" i the TF141 group chat, gaz and soap thought that he was laughing at simon

soap got arrested in croatia on a mission once because he committed arson

kate had to bail him out and he got an earful on being a pyromaniac and arsonist

price just told him to restrict his fire setting to the battlefield

valeria has a medusa tattoo, it's under her chest on her sternum (iykyk)

ghost was tempted to get a medusa tattoo but decided against it because he views it more as a symbol of strength for women (really afab/fem aligned in general) who have suffered through that kind of assault and that it would be wrong to take that from them

he got a tattoo inspired by medusa instead

ghost has his on his hip

he was orginally going to get it on his left ribcage but when the artist was placing the stencil he almost had a panic attack and they both decided a different placement would be better

könig has tattoos for his siblings and his mother (mama's booooyyyyy🗣️)

ghost also has tattoos for his mother, tommy, joseph and even one for beth

is there a male version of a barracks bunny?

because that's horangi, that man is fucking EVERYONE or getting fucked, depends on his mood that night

idk i feel like sometimes they all watch like family guy or bob's burgers together sometimes during their downtime

fever is gone but now it hurts to breathe, my whole body aches and my neck is stiff, i think my tonsils are swollen too

i have incredible health anxiety and ngl when i got a fever out of nowhere i thought i got sepsis because i had every symptom minus the rash

it's five in the morning and i should really be sleeping but before i do i just wanted to say thank you so so much to everyone who has liked and/or reblogged my recent fics🥺🫶

it means a lot to me that so many of you seem to love what i've written, especially enough to reblog and even follow me?? that's just...🥹

i appreciate each and every single one of you, each and every single like, reblog, read and follow.

to be completely transparent with you all, i have been feeling super depressed recently, my mental health has been declining rapidly. i have bpd amongst some other mental health issues and it has truly been kicking my ass and i've rapidly been spiraling into a depressive episode, my meds have stopped working (thankfully not my antipsychotics, those are keeping my hallucinations and delusions at bay, but my antidepressants/anxiety meds have stopped working despite being on the highest dose possible) and it has just made the spiral into depression a whole lot worse. that being said, seeing all this love for my fics, my writing, has made me feel a teensy bit better. i love writing and i'm very glad you all seem to like my writing!

anyhow, thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you, even if you've like just one of my works, even if you don't see this post in particular, just know that i adore and appreciate you. yes, you!
