Made for anon on request, combining the Ocean Gay flag with this NPD flag by @acidkeylime. ( You can use this regardless of what terms you do or don't use for your orientation!! I'm just using exactly what anon sent me for clarity. )

The symbol is optional but is a combination of two Mars symbols and my alternative NPD symbol. Here's a plain version for anyone who'd like to reposition it ( for icons and such!! )

This might be a bit of a rant but bear with me. Delete this ask if you don't want to answer it. I don't mind. I just don't know where else to say this.

So I keep entering relationships or committing to dates with people (women and nonbinary people, never men. This is a coincidence. I don't seek out anyone in particular.) who like me without being attracted to them. I think I will develop attraction at some point. I never do. I feel guilty and go along with the relationship until they break up with me for whatever reason. Am I just gay or aromantic or something?

There's also the fact I'm apparently diagnosable with Covert NPD. Could that be related, like an attention/admiration thing? Do you or anyone else know?

It could be any of the three. But given that you expect to be attracted to them yet never are, I'd guess it's more likely to be related to your orientation, opposed to NPD. It's common for queer people to keep putting themselves through normative behavior, thinking they'll just change eventually. Although if you do feel the drive to be in a relationship for the narcissist supply as well, then it could be both orientation and NPD.

And since you said you don't seek out anyone in particular, it also seems like being aromantic is more likely. At the same time, it is common for gay people to repress their attraction. So, it sounds like you're on the right track to figuring out what it is, and it's just going to take introspection and exploration to figure out the answer. Thought exercises, paying attention to your feelings about these relationships, asking other gay/aro/pwNPD about their experiences, etc.

And it's okay to not have the answers now, if you needed to hear that. It's natural for understanding ourselves to take time.
