I am currently in the making of my own TWST Circus AU!

The Night Raven Circus AU

"Come one, come all, to the most daring show in all of Twisted Wonderland! Witness spectacles beyond your imagination. Death Defying Aerial dances. Beasts from Hell tamed. Creatures from the depths. Dolls given life and fires run wild. I, Dire Crowley, will be your host this evening. Welcome the Night Raven Circus!"

✨🎪✨

The Night Raven Circus is a famous show that travels all over Twisted Wonderland. With it's Whimsical and Gothic aesthetic, to it's large cast of performers and attractions, it has always stood out over the years and has earned its excellent reputation. And, befitting it's name, the circus is only open at night.

The Ring Leader, Dire Crowley, had hired the best performers he can find. From Lilia, the best swordsman around, known for his sword swallowing an knife throwing tricks and his son Silver who is also learning the act. The fire breather Malleus. Who due to his draconic heritage is able to command fire and control it, leading to a thrilling act that scares and excites the audience. Jamil the talented hypnotist that calls audience members to take part. Along with many more.

The newest addition to the cast being Isabelle, a Beast Tamer. But instead of working with your average circus animals, she tames monsters. Griffins, Hellhounds, and of course, Grim, a feline creature that can go from a kitten to a large fire maned beast.

Other recent additions to the performance lineup being Dires daughter, Darling. Where she controls her hand crafted and life like dolls to perform for the audience. And Dreary, who has a tent she tells fortunes out of. Though most of her predictions are fake, and all her real visions are only bad things to come.

However, with all the fame of the circus, comes those seeking to topple it. The rival Playfulland Circus is run by a man known as the Coachman. The inner workings of their business being shady at best. Whenever they happen to be in the same area as The Night Raven circus, little things tend to go wrong. A wardrobe malfunctions, a prop or two going missing. Giddel has even been caught sneaking around now and then and promptly scolded. However, lately things star to escalate. Equipment is being damaged, costumed shredded. Isabelle has found the cages of her beasts unlocked when she knows for a fact it was closed.

However things take a turn for the deadly when Clara, an aerial dancer, was performing when the rope holding up the hoop she was hanging from snapped and she fell. She walked away with only a few injuries, but now Dire was enraged and needed to find a way to get back at the Playfulland circus for this.

With Darling taking over the slot that was for Claras routine, the rival circus is now keeping a new eye on the new talent to see what else they can sabotage or even copy.

He was rushing back because he doesn't want to worry Jamil for staying out late. As he hurries on his trail, a voice catches his attention, leading back to a sewer drain."

"Hello? Anyone? I'm stuck down here."

I was re-listening to the AU playlist (thankfully my headache doesn't seem to be preventing me from music tonight) and I felt the urge to ramble about stuff sooooo. I chose this track primarily for Farangis. Imagine a young Farangis, struck with grief of losing her parents, ostracized by everyone else in the temple out of jealousy, and the first highlight is a reassurance that she has a right to cry, that she's human because of it.

The second highlight is more abstracted from her, more about hope in general.

The third comes right back to Farangis, she feels grateful to have met the clan and expanded her horizons, even in a shitty world like this. It's what draws Ranna/Ashaya to her, as well.

On hindsight Hilmes' parts need quite a bit of stretching, buuuut he is dubbed “The Prince of Justice” by the Master in canon so someone who's trying to rid Pars of “evil” could fit right in. Ashaya is lashing out, destroying everything in their path, and sees nothing worth saving in this wretched society. Hilmes is caught up on the birthright stuff (our roles have been pre-ordained) sooo. Yeah.

Not gonna lie this song is on thin ice despite how much I love it.

I initially kinda wanted it to be a song for Ashaya and Alfarīd— in the case that they did meet in their younger years, but now I'm not so sure.

On second glance it oddly reads as Daryun and Narsus????

Shapur's song. His and Kazai's, moreso Shapur's for the lines about discarding the ideals he once had.

The song is from the perspective of a protagonist who lets go of his heroic ideals and his dream of becoming a hero, in favor of saving the woman he loves. A song from the story of a sword finally becoming human.

This is Shapur's resolve settling, having decided what it is that he wishes to protect.

Gurgin's song in this AU, imo. Thought he was sticking it to the society that hurt him and killed his brother by joining Team Zahhak, only to realize much later down the line (after unwillingly staying in Gorgan for a while) that... they were only dragging him down. Maybe he's calling out to his brother.

The ending song of the finale in a movie trilogy, this one carries a tone of finality. And the lyrics felt fitting for a Hilmes near or at the hypothetical ending of the story.

“Thank you, you've been a wonderful audience! Good night!” It seemed to take forever for the stands to empty out and the master of ceremonies to finally be able to leave his bowed position to return behind the curtains to the waiting raven haired woman beyond. “Excellent performance by both of you, as usual.” His bright dazzling grin fades into a more calm, endearing smile more fitting of the man behind the scenes. A pale, porcelain white hand extends out and he takes it in both of his, leaving a dainty kiss on the back.

The tender moment is interrupted by a soft, shrill voice with a berating tone. “Don’t you know not to flirt with your staff, oh Master of Ceremonies?” Grumbling under his breath and prompting a giggle from the other, Marcus turned his attention to the other party privy to the exchange. “It's not proper, now is it?”

Letting go of the hand in his grasp, Marcus took a much smaller, just as pale hand in his own, leaving a kiss upon it as well. “More akin to flattery, I must say. But it was not in jest, you two work well together, and tonight was no different. Now dear, can you please put your mini-me away? My attention goes to Lillian, not Lil.”

“When you really think about show business, which one of us is the puppet really?” The tiny porcelain moves one final time, speaking before Lillian dutifully puts it away. Marcus sighs a relieved breath before stepping back towards Lillian and wrapping his arms around her finely dressed waist.

“Now, where were we?”

Batfam Circus Au

Bruce would be ringleader and Tim would be his trainee. Dick is an acrobat. Jason is a dare devil. He does all sorts of death defying tricks. Duke is an illusionist, his speciality is lights. Damian and Cass are knife throwers. Selina and Stephanie are escape artists. Barbara and Alfred work on scenery and make sure every show is perfection.

It doesn’t stop there of course. Bruce hires temporary acts: The arrows: a group of four talented archers: Oliver, Roy, Artemis, and Kissie. The canary, Dinah who has the strongest voice imaginable. She travels with the Arrows. The Amazons: a group of strong women: the most notable being Diana, Donna, Artemis, and Cassie.

Then the more permanent acts: The Kents: a family of strong people: Clark, Kara, Kon, and Jon. The family Magician act: John Constantine, Zatanna, and their adopted daughter Raven. The fastest men alive: Barry, Wally, and Bart. Jay has since retired.

As time goes on his boys grow. Dick acquires his own talented group of Acrobats called the titans: Donna chose to stay in order to join Dick's acrobatic group, an orphaned boy named Garfield, a man named Garth, occasionally Wally on special nights and of course Dick's star and fiance Kori.

Jason expands his act. He also has his own group called the outlaws. He has two groups: Artemis and a man who called himself Bizarro for some of the state shows. His primary group is Kori and Roy who work on International shows.

Tim even plans some smaller acts with Kon, Cassie, and Bart. These are rare, but the shows they participate in are the ones that are often most sold out.

Cass and Stephanie have their own daring acts. Cass locks Stephanie in some large contraption which she throws knives at her dear friend as the blonde fights to escape. It works mostly.

The youngest three in the circus aren't allowed to have their own acts without an adult, but it doesn't stop Raven, Jon, and Damian from getting into mischief.

It isn't uncommon to find the ring master tangled up with his escape artist. Nor to find his apprentice wrapped up with the second youngest strong man. Nor is it strange to find Stephanie and Jason near each other at all times.

The following progressive of My Batman AU resembles some new origin stories and new accomplishments between the DC Universe.

Bio: Dick Grayson was born in Haley’s Circus has come to town and Bruce has decided to attend one of these shows. When the Flying Graysons were on stage making stunts, they were sabotaged by Tony Zucco’s men as they fall to their death, except for their 15 year old son Dick Grayson. Which lead to Bruce adopting Dick has he reminded that the night his parents are killed. Dick Grayson now lived at Wayne Manor, something happened...but sheer accident...he discovered the batcave. After some thinking, Bruce came to realize that with the right guidance, Dick could potentially become a better hero then him someday. After long training to help challenge the emotions and grief. Dawning a colorful costume, Dick has become the Boy Wonder, Robin! Batman and Robin go out as an unstoppable Dynamic Dou and won't be long before Batgirl shows up as the Triple Dou!

This can go in two ways for me!

One being this AU-

Based off this:

Azul moved to the city of Sage's Island and started attending the "famous" junior high/high school Night Raven with his mother after his mother's and father's divorce

First friend he made was another fresh new face who moved sometime before he did named Jamil, a somewhat more well off boy

But he became fast friends with strange twins named Jade and Floyd

After meeting Jamil, Vil, Leona, and Riddle strange stuff began happening to the teens

They get help from the previous guardians of the elements who give them the run down of who they're fighting and why

Will make a fic on this but here's their boards!

Another would be W.I.T.C.H characters as Twisted Wonderland characters which I will make one day!

This is kind of like a wonderland-inspired AU that ACTUALLY is a Phantom Thief AU too- It's weird but it's a wonderful and strange AU- not to be mistaken with Phantom [ToD, that guy is an asshole/lh], the S tier here [who also happens to have the nickname "The Phantom" funnily enough] is a good guy if not a little. strange. lol.

The essence is basically a detective nicknamed Violet runs into "The Phantom" while investigating a case, and after some events, the two are forced to work together to save their lives and solve a huge mystery [and some other stuff too ig/lh] Some other juicy drama goes down that makes this one of my favorite AUs of all time with two of my favorite OCs of all time- ask me more about it if you're interested, drop through the ceiling or enter through a door, I don't mind hehe
