note. this was supposed to be for celebrating 4k and originally I had a fic that I was supposed to publish but I got really busy w/ school and stuff so I supposed I'll just drop this 😚 I'm also sick btw *cries

if someone asked you; "what do you think the students see you as?" you'd probably answer, "a wannabe I guess." technically you were sure that you were right about your guess. if there's anything that you'd know about a school that worships villians is that they'd hate someone whose the polar opposite.

which is you, with you basically 'saving' the dorm leaders and all. atleast the person in question didn't seem to pick at you for helping them and not going like 'I don't need your help.'

which is also why you're.. shocked to say the least when some random student you can't say that looks familiar hands you a bouquet of flowers, clearly flushing at your stare. you notice a white envelope tucked into the variety of flowers as well as a box of chocolates.

funnily enough you wondered if twisted wonderland celebrated valentines day on a different month.

albeit the possibly hundred other gazes from the other people. why'd they have to do this in the cafeteria exactly? it would've saved you the trouble if they did it on a more private scale.

you can only smile at them politely. honesty feeling a mixture of embarrassment and shyness cause you've never received such a bold confession yourself. "thank you?" you feel a little bad when they deflate at your short answer to their gifts but nevertheless pleased.

"you're welcome. I tried to pick out the flowers for someone as special as you but it can't compare." they absent-mindedly state. you can't hide the grin on your face, you just met this person and they're already flattering you. it feels nice to be appreciated.

kinda cringe but you take it back this person is really cool.

bystander number 1. who wants to collar that person by anger, along with jealousy then proceed to stomp away. riddle would actually do that but only when you're not around cause you'd probably not be too happy if he punishes your 'friend' and he wants you to see him as the 😇 reliable young lad everyone loves.

suddenly had the will to impress you and one upped everything the other person did. so they got a 49 on the magical analysis test? that's too bad, riddle got 50. get on his level. so they answer correctly only when called? well riddle's voluntarily raising his hand and getting them all correct. oh they can cook?

oh well. he can do everything else better else than cooking so it doesn't really matter. you'd be a fool to choose someone else over him. but he supposes its part of the charm, infatuatingly enough.

bystander number 2 who either just doesn't care or is secretly really mad. knowing leona it's probably the latter because it's leona and if there's something he hates it's probably getting upped by some random person whom he's clearly better than. you must be really blind if you have the audacity to ramble about said person to him.

went really grumpy for the span of days to weeks. ruggie literally would do anything you ask if it meant that leona's gonna be to his old self, lazy sure but he didn't used to place this much work on him!

your fault or not you'd probably also get affected by his drastic change of attitude. bro literally ignored you as well as everyone else, reverting to his mean self but treating you with more bitterness. it's probably not your fault but he doesn't regret a thing because you actually look upset when he pays you no mind. so you do feel something for him 😒😏. flashbacks to kaeya

bystander number 3. who's borderlining between wanting to get depressed then crawl in his octo pot to cry and absolutely ruining everything this random cheap made. I mean, really? those aren't even your favorite flowers! where did they get them, at the nearest dollar store? if he were them he'd give you the most expensive flowers you'd ever lay your eyes on!

and that's what he does actually; literally showed up on your doorstep with a handsome smile and gave you the most prettiest flowers you've seen yet. consider yourself charmed! bro literally made you forget about that other person for days until you saw them like a month later which is kinda bizarre..

the twins don't let you know that azul put them up on a 'job' to keep em' away. but it does use for good blackmail material against the jealous octopus.

bystander number 4. legit doesn't get jealous. kalim literally is just happy that you have admirers like him because you deserve it! he'd be more upset if you didn't have admirers honestly. okay but lowkey though, he isn't trying to compete at all but you receive a large bouquet, definitely much grander than the one you received and a heartfelt letter tucked into it.

how was that person supposed to win you over when kalim does it better?? ok but this is like the jamil situation in book 5 LOL.

if he actually somehow gets jealous he feels bad because he knows he'll do it better ( not condescending /gen ) so he just resorts to trying to win your affection and forgets about not trying then completely overshadowed the other person's previous attempts. bro only spared a 'I feel bad' look then smiling again because yay! you like him better now :)

bystander number 5. AKA, the one who knows he'll do better and actually does do it better ( condescending ). vil doesn't even bother doing anything cause he trusts you enough to make the.. correct, choice. you do know that he's one of the most sought off person in the world, right? you'd be a fool to not see that.

okay but maybe he is a little paranoid that you actually will choose them so he actually does put in effort..

I mean nearly everyone is scared terrified of rook right? what's one more person to the count? he totally does not purposely send out rook to stalk them so he can expose them on social media .. or make him stall them somewhere so he has the chance to whisk you away and you losing the ability to see them for this day.. oh well, it's better to just spend it with vil since you're free anyways..

bystander number 6 who was there but actually not there..? physically not present but he was there, somehow.. *looks at camera in the far, FAR corner of the ceiling*. idia doesn't know whether to start crying because you actually looked happy with their CRINGE. confession.. the crying is a more intense period than azul's btw.

or.. actually there's no or, that's just what he's gonna do. close his electronic device, crawl into his bed and cry into his body pillow. fear not. little brother ortho to the rescue! ortho actually suggested destroying any evidence of a 'disappearance' if that poor soul just happened to not be present for years but idia quickly shot that idea down, he actually pondered on agreeing but no way he's gonna let them win by that!

hijacks all their phones, PC's, whatever other stuff so that it's completely off, no other person can fix it besides him. and he's definitely not gonna do that so the person ghosts you for weeks, so you get mad and ghost them irl.. wow his masterplan actually worked. no ortho pls don't force me to 'comfort' them..

bystander number 7 who genuinely doesn't see the appeal of this basic little b— human :). like? hello?? he's right here, open your eyes child of man. no need to tolerate the pathetic display they just did that doesn't live up to your very existence, they might as well compare you to gravel on the floor from how poor they executed their weird analogy.

he could legit go on and on about every single feature you have, your eyes, mouth, face, shape.. he would present you a microsoft presentation for it if you ask and it literally is godly description type of thing. you could finish listening to one of them and you'd be in TEARS ☠.

bros so sentimental. he thanks lilia for the advice of microsoft presentation because you now look completely convinced. malleus has the pride to spare the other person a smirk when your attention is fully on him :D.

Cater deserves more hype tbh. Bro is the number one clout chaser of all time let's go!! He deserves a yellow skateboard or something nice like that as a treat cause my boy has got to be STRESSED.

Nah but fr I think we need to remember how much everyone fears malleus and then cater was just like. "But magicam" "but will get me likes" and just fucking. Went right up to that mf (despite the fear) and asked for a photo (he then got played by malleus but my point still stands).

I hope he gets a million followers and some therapy someday! He deserves it

I have so many thoughts about Cater. I love him sososo much and he deserves so much better than he's been getting (from both the story and his family.)

One of the things I like the most about Cater is that he is extremely hard working and ambitious. If he wants something he is going to try for it, maybe not the the extent of someone like Azul, but he works so hard to maintain his happy persona and get those followers. He craves genuine human connection but doesn't know how to maintain it so he pretends to be satisfied with superficial friendships. But he's not. He is just so unfamiliar with being seen and not found wanting he doesn't know what to do in the face of it but run.

I have more I want to say but I'm saving it for a fic soooo have a song that reminds me of him idk

Thoughts on Episode 4 of Masquerade

Can you still believe that this is not the last part yet? I can't.

In general, I absolutely love that this part really makes the characters shine, especially the SSR characters.

Epel gets to protect Riddle using his UM!! Riddle makes himself the bait at first but eventually he gets affected by the flowers, so Epel protects him. It just makes me so proud of how far Epel had come from the start of the game. We can discuss and argue about the semantics of Epel having a UM during Halloween when he got it around Feb-March (when chapter 6 is supposedly set), but honestly, it doesn't really matter to me when we get to see this kind of growth from him. 🥹

Riddle willing to sacrifice himself 🥺 he's truly such a noble character. He also mentions how the Queen of Hearts would march into battle. An allusion to the live action Alice in Wonderland? :0

Ruggie and Jamil are the bastards as always. They use their UMs to make the NBC students as bait, and I think that's pretty funny of them. Go boys, do what you need to do.

Actually, I'm pretty surprised that they're all using their UMs when the flowers would absorb their magic. UMs use up a lot of power too, I'd think that that would be such a risky move.

Deuce protecting Idia from the falling chandelier!! That part made me feel so proud of him. He got a twisted ankle from it, though. 😭 It also kind of mirrors how Meg pushed Hercules away from the falling pillar in the Hercules movie and ended up dead. So, Meg!Deuce??????

Can't leave this post without mentioning that brief cut to Ace going, "Man, everyone must be having a great time in NBC." then going back to Deuce aggressively weeding out plants.

Rook meanwhile... I love how he can be himself despite everything. 🥺 Idia volunteered to stay with Deuce just so he'd stop running, but Rook interprets that as him being grateful to Deuce for saving him. And then he even makes Deuce say 'oui'............ the rookification of Deuce Spade...................

Sebek, though! Thank him for actually calling out Idia's complaining. Idia complains about how he wasn't left behind, but Sebek yells at him for it since it's like he's sullying Deuce's efforts to save him. Which is fair honestly, I think I would have been the same in Sebek's place. 😂

And Silver! I love how he managed to protect Azul, and I also love how he was the one who calms everyone down. We stan a chill guy like Silver.

And the way that he and Sebek fight the flowers!! Both of them really just teamed up and went, "There's nothing we can lose to when we fight together." Like girl 😭 SebeSil stans got fucking fed this event, congratulations. They were even protecting each other, with Sebek going, "Silver behind you!" and Silver going, "Sebek, to your right!" Like bro 🥺 And the way that they both made it a competition to see who can take out the most flowers!!! I swear, they may act mature (kind of), but they are Boys at heart. They just have a little rivalry........

Now onto the three SSR characters because save the best for last.

I will proceed to be annoying for the next 5 bullet points.

First off, I just love how Azul's not afraid to call out on Idia's bullshit. 😂 "Please give up on giving up" and even making him move to the back of the line when it was just the three of them so that Idia actually does shit. I love how he has that bluntness, but it does come with the friendship too.

And secondly, the moment that I am still down bad for: Azul getting rid of the flowers without damaging the tower.

Fucking bear with me here: none of the other characters attempted to destroy the flowers because they would absorb their magic. It would take so much magical power to make them wither, and the only other person who was able to get rid of them was Malleus. And we already know how terrifyingly powerful Malleus is. And even then, that caused his power to get wiped out (makes you also wonder just how much flowers within the vicinity he was able to take out).

But then Azul was able to do it. He was able to do it guys, he did it.

What's more is that he did it without destroying any of the architecture. It takes a great amount of power to take out the flowers, and that could definitely damage the tower. In chapter 6, it was seen that his magic is very precise. And you really get to see this here, because Azul concentrated his magic on the flowers and ensured that it wouldn't touch any of the walls of the tower. So effectively, he was able to get rid of the flowers without compromising Idia's and Malleus' safety (and preventing them from paying NBC for damages lmao).

What I would even love to add to this is that when the flowers surrounded them at first, Malleus volunteered to take them out, but Azul stopped him so that he could conserve his energy. And he says he'd take it out, but then Idia tells him to just let Malleus do it. That caused Azul to yell at him to shut up and let him concentrate, but think right here: Can you imagine how much his ego probably got hurt because of that comment? Like, everyone is very well aware that the strongest person with them is Malleus, so of course you'd want him to do the biggest work. But imagine just hearing that over and over and having someone say the equivalent of "let him do it because he's the only one capable of doing it". That shit definitely would hurt his pride, and Azul just... proved it in front of the two of them that he was capable of taking out the flowers with his own magic.

And he got praised by the Malleus Draconia. Please, I'm so happy for him, you don't understand.

As for Idia, him being a bitch is understandably annoying, but it's also funny and a mood. There's so much to say here about him.

First of all, you really get to see his genius shine. When he was tasked with taking care of the flowers, he uses the handkerchiefs he bought to be bait for the flowers. They held a tiny bit of magic, but the thing is, Idia tinkered with them while he was drinking his grape juice earlier, so the handkerchiefs are now much stronger and contain more magic.

But more than that, when they read Rollo's diary, Idia went really silent. And it reached a point where Azul had to tell him that no matter what, Rollo is still their enemy. Like... poor guy. Whatever was in Rollo's diary impacted him so much. It's such a sharp juxtaposition from how self-centered he was the entire event. Suddenly, he's empathetic to the point that he couldn't say anything.

... though on that note, Rollo leaving his diary in the student board room of all places is pretty funny.

Anyway, onto Malleus. I really think he did so much this part.

Absolutely love how when Silver said "look at Malleus, be calm like him", he immediately says that he's thinking of how to make Rollo feel terrible for falsely inviting him. 😂 Go Malleus, beat his ass for wronging you like that. I fully support.

When he froze from the talking gargoyle!! That. Was so cute. Like, I was smiling a lot when the gargoyle was poking him 😭 and then Malleus just suddenly unfroze and then formally introduced himself. He looked so so happy, and that had to be the most adorable thing. 🥺 And he wanted to save the gargoyle when the flowers started growing around them... I felt so bad for him in that moment because he couldn't save someone dear to him.

You know, I really like that he couldn't save the gargoyle in that moment. I think one of my favorite things about how Malleus was written in this event is that we really see just how much people look up to him. They see him as this super powerful mage who should be the one to solve the problem at the end of the day. And Malleus is very well aware of his power and of how people perceive him. He takes it all in, and he expects himself to do the job done. That's why when it came to taking out the flowers, he was the first to volunteer.

Even in the entire game, Malleus was always looked up for being powerful. But here, it's not the case. He had his power drained to the point that he couldn't fly. We actually see Silver and Sebek being able to do their jobs as guards. And we see him having to rely on the others so that he could make it to the tower. When he was going to go to save the gargoyle, he had to be stopped by Azul and Idia because he needed to conserve his energy. And now, if he wants the gargoyle to be alright, he has to rely on the bell of salvation.

I kind of wonder how he feels about this. But it's also a pretty neat change of pace from the usual 'Malleus is all powerful' narrative. And it shows something more relatable about him. I don't know, I admit that I'm rambling, but yeah. I like Malleus' writing in this event, I'm really glad for it.

I was rereading your twst one shoots when I got to the Castle of Illusions AU and as I read on I began to think.

It is merely a question and not a request. But can you make this exact AU, as in an epilogue of sort or something but take place in the newest Masquerade event? Because considering the change they have now, and how 4 of the dormheads are invited to that event by Rollo, it would make some interesting interactions.

Of course it is just a question and I don't really thought you will take it. But I am just curious. I also alright with just listening (reading) to your thoughts about it.

The event is not yet over(heck it's not even halfway done...) I cannot do anything with it for now, just to dunk it in crack. U-U

For this one, Vil, Leona and Kalim are sitting out of it and skulking.

Don't worry, most likely Idia or Azul FaceTime with them or make photos for them. Lots of accidentally 'where tf are y'all' in the dormleaders gc.

Riddle's just in there, squaring up with Rollo spiritually.

Rollo would be took aback by Malleus's appearance. He knew that Fae looked... More alike to humans, not like THAT. Malleus's tail is just wagging around non-stop bc he is just so happy to be invited somewhere and see a new place.

Since the event is far from over and we don't really know exactly what Rollo's up to, we will keep it neutral.

Although I wanna have evil Rollo and the boys to be saved by the goat.

Since they are keeping their rainbow gems around, they use magic to make them apart of their masks. Rollo takes note of the fact that 4 guests have this wierd gems, which makes him more suspicious of them.

Making a tour and the flyers(Riddle and Malleus) have no problem climbing up the tower.

Meanwhile, Idia and Azul still suck hard at PE. At this point, Azul is just invisible so that no one will notice that this boy takes an eternity on those stairs to the tower. Idia isn't that lucky, so everyone is pretty much looking at this pathetic lil man climbing the stairs.

Malleus is just admiring the gargoyles on the roofs as the others simply stay in the bell tower and try to call him over.

Riddle goes to pick him up, since it was the only one besides Malleus who has wings. When going down the stairs, Idia just makes an indestructible bubble and throws himself over with it.

Noble bell college students are scared from this guy's stunt.

While exploring the city, for now everything will stay close to the cannon. Malleus befriending the goat, Idia being salty for not ending up in a team with one of his boyfriends, Azul being a big bro to Epel and Deuce.

Rollo is sus, but for now he stays a bit further from Malleus, who just intimidates people around with his hugeass wings and tail.

But also a lot of crack can happen:

Rollo: *sneeze*

Azul, invisible: Bless you...

Rollo, looking around: God?!?

Idia, after hearing they gotta go and interact with people: time for my secret weapon! *summons his bubble*

Ruggie: You will hamsterball your way around?

Idia: I will hamsterball my way around!

Goat: *exists*

Malleus: is this a new friend?

Rollo: I believe we don't see the things from the same angle...

Riddle, flying up to his level: Try me...

Leona, at NRC: What are you doing?

Kalim: Calling Riddle! I wanna hear what they are doing in there...

Vil: Kalim... It's the 30th time you call...

Kalim: BuT wHaT If tHeY geT LOsT?!

Idia: Malleus... I don't like this dude... He's suspicious *pointing towards Rollo*

Malleus: Now now... It's rude to accuse people, let alone our guide and the one who invited us in here, of being suspicious...

Azul: No... He's suspicious... I heard him talking about 'purity' and all that religious jazz...

Malleus:....

Azul: Yeah... I don't feel safe near THAT guy...

Everyone: where's Malleus?

Malleus, up on a roof with a gargoyle: :3

This is the final warning to scroll away for your sake, because I don't know if you will be triggered or left uncomfortable with this.

So. I recently I watched a thing called "Twisted"; a story about the Untold Story about the Royal Vizier, it's a very mature version of Aladdin but it's Ja'far's point of view. It's also to mock the movie I believe?? Idk.

But one of it's songs, "Twisted" in specific, caught my eye.

I'm a big fan of TWST (obviously, you can see it by my blog/account) but the song had... Interesting information and I'd like to analyze it.

So, if you decided not to watch or listen to the song, let me sum it up for you:

Aladdin convinced the Sultan that Ja'far is a sorcerer and the Sultan believed him. Ja'far ran away because they were planning to execute him. But then while he's being sad, the other Disney "Villains" (Ursla, Scar, Gaston, Maleficent, Hook, and Cruella)

Why am I air quoting the villains?

Their parts in the song reveal their true intentions and why they are the way they are.

Ursla was a good ruler, but overthrown by her brother, aka Ariel's dad, due to him believing "women should be seen and never heard" (exact line from the song) but she just wanted continue being a good ruler but became a "villain" to get what she lost due to her brother.

Gaston loved Bell and wanted to save her from the "buffalo monster" (his words, not mine) and thought it's unhealthy that she fell in love with the said monster. It is. And it's called Stockholm Syndrome. And if I'm honest, he's got a point. It is unhealthy that she fell in love with a capturer.

Scar was progressive. "Both hyenas and lions lived in perfect harmony" (exact lyrics) but his brother, aka Mufasa, ate his cubs and made him and the hyenas go back. Which is probably the reason he hated Simba, Mufasa ate his cubs and yet he got a cub. He just wanted everyone to be in harmony, yet his brother didn't listen.

Maleficent didn't get much but she got the fact she wanted to be included and invited to the party. "I only wanted to be invited to the party." (Lyrics).

Neither did Hook but he had a point, "I just wanted to teach the boy responsibility!" (Lyrics) and he's got a point, he wanted to teach the lost kids how to be responsible and he also said/sung, "I never knew my father!" (Lyrics) Which is probably implying that he just wanted to be a father figure to them when he never had one.

Cruella... She only got one line and she said, "I only wished to have a coat made out of puppies!" And yeah. Nothing much to say about her.

Now. Why am I bringing all this up? Is it because the musical was great and genuinely made me cry? (It did but that's not the point here)

I would've said cuz connections but there is none. Instead, I'm giving a AU idea.

Azul's cousin is Rielle (or in my case, Ari) and they, Rielle, stole the lounge or something like that when Azul was supposed to have it. Cue Azul overblot pt. 2

Leona is Scar obviously, but it does make sense in this AU that he hates kids. He got his own kid(s) who were y'know... Killed... By his brother. But he also just wanted to live in peace, it doesn't happen.

Gaston is Coach Vargas. I don't really know what to say about him?? Like Stockholm Syndrome... For his lover... I guess you can make a Male! Belle (listen my gay uncle Vargas hc is here and you can't stop me) fall in love with the Buffalo guy who kidnapped him and Vargas is just watching like "Bro.... No."

But for Maleficent... It's already canon for Malleus so it doesn't count.

Hook doesn't have a canon character. But it's implied that the fairies are like Tinkerbell and stuff so... Idk.

Cruella and Crewel... I don't have anything for the two. They're already practically the same... Minus the puppies.

But what about... Ja'far and Jamil? Aladdin dude in RSA probably convinced (more like manipulated but go off Ig.) the Sultan aka Kalim that Jamil is untrustworthy and must be executed. Kalim didn't agree but his parents did so Jamil had to run away before the execution. With Kalim's help of course!

And here we are. The unfortunate paths of them.

So in conclusion, it's 9:19 pm for me, I'm sick, and I just thought of this for no reason.

Okay but speculating for chapter 7 but i think it is going to be the chapter when Yuu's going to be at the cliff's edge me thinks bc Yuu did not only have to push away their own health for another's sake again (the OB with malleus) but they have to actively hide it too bc their condition is getting worse, and Chapter 6 is a traumatizing situation to be in regardless of which party you're going to be in and for Yuu who had their friends hurt and taken from them bc of OB its going to fuck them and reaffirm their belief that they have to keep this under wraps bc no matter how close the shroud bros is going to be w them there's no way in hell Yuu's going to let them help them.

Bc in my opinion the way STYX made it look like---its like those who Overblotted are freaks that need to be detained and experimented on and what's more is that they're a literal magicless human who has too much of it. So ofc Yuu is going to jump in the worst case of scenario almost immediately after their experience w the whole shebang. If Yuu's state continues to deteriorate over the course of the story and no one is going to help them then the final act just might be them manipulating grim into ob-ing bc they aren't able too (and the two of them are one person after all right?) by acting as Grim's phantom (but the roles are switched bc the one who dies at the end in this situation would be Yuu and not Grim---Grim would be the phantom who would wander aimlessly at the end).

I feel like during chapter 6 rook and epel will notice something's up but will be too busy w the whole STYX thing to properly help them or ask a third party to help. Idia and Ortho might be able to help but Yuu's worst traits are dialed up to the max and beyond thanks to the blot so their mistrust towards the brothers is what will render the brothers be unable to help (since they can't risk having Yuu's situation get worse than it already is). Lilia and Malleus might have a chance but depending on how chapter 7 is going to go then... hmmm maybe Yuu won't let them help bc of how stuff went.

The only way I can see Yuu actually get the help they need is that if ADeuce or anyone else for that matter could get past their paranoia and mistrust and other baggage to get them to slowly come out and actually convince them to reach out and willingly step up for help (since they can't force Yuu or do whatever STYX did to them since Yuu's state has been long since past instability and one wrong move could blow their efforts to the water and at that point then maybe Yuu would just be good as dead at that rate ://) Then after that, who knows? Maybe Yuu could get an artificial core (just like ortho) to be able to regulate the magic around them and not just stagnate and turn to blot after some time.

Many many possibilities but what about you what do you think?

Yeah, I kinda think Idia is a lil fucked up—he literally put his brother back together again no FNAF and you mean to tell me he doesn't experiment on people or has at least saw human experimentation to get to that point of precision???? Its Canon that he changes out Ortho's body parts to suit the occasion (ceremonial robes, gym)

When you take that into consideration, couple that with the fact that S.T.Y.X is a secret organization that lowkey says they analyze experiment on people who have OBed and their phantoms....

Yeah, just shove that blot under the rug bruh.

Not to mention that from what we've seen, NRC students are out for their own ass. Azul is an overt example, Deuce a subtler one. Yuu wouldn't really expect them to go out of their way to save them without something exorbitant, friend or not.

Just now realized none of the OB boys formally apologized to Yuu.

Grim being manipulated into OB is actually interest considering Yuu seems more on the lawful good, but what are morals when you're life is literally at risk.

OOOOHH IDIA ACTUALLY PULLING THROUGH ANF MAKING YUU AN ARTIFICIAL CORE GOES SO BRAZY ACTUALLLY WHAYT.

Idia seems like the type to be antagonistic towards Yuu more than anything... if that makes sense. So him pulling through to help actually might mend whatever beef he has with Yuu and vice versa.

I do think Idia needs some time to shine with Yuu and might even bring him out his shell (Ortho approved) however this could take Yuu's time away from Malleus....

He didn’t think he’d meet any of them because they seem busy but boi was he wrong

Then out of nowhere , Beelzebub appears

He wasn’t sure why he was there but he immediately remembered that Beelzebub is the Avatar of Gluttony

Trey was polite to him but he kept a share eye on him

he caught Beel trying to sneak a bite at times , but all he did was lightly scold

Beel tried his best to not eat bit his sin was hitting him hard

you couldn’t help find the whole situation adorable , it’s like a mom watching a child which seemed very accurate for some reason

soon after , trey finished a strawberry shortcake

after seeing how Beel tried to hold it , trey gave the cake to him , and surprisingly beel didn’t eat it right then and there

soon Beel left with the cake and it felt empty

Later on days, Trey heard from you that Beel actually barely tries to eat the cake and savoring it as much as he can

That really touched his heart

He had never really believed too much about your stories of the demon bros

that was until one of them actually came

It was Mammon and when Ruggie saw him , he instantly knew which one he was

mammon, a white hair greedy demon , which is what you descripted to him in short

Remembering the stories, he decided to have some fun~

Ruggie told Mammon that leona was a descendant of the “golden Lion” and that if you pulled his tail twice , you’d get good fortune

He was surprised Mammon believed it because he was pushing a little

Mammon somehow sneaked up Leona and actually pulled his tail twice

Ruggie laughed but stopped to try to save what would be left of Mammon

After that Mammon was really excited , which kind of made Ruggie feel bad , so to play into a little , he conveniently placed some money (not a lot) to make it look like it worked but even then that made Mammon happy

After Mammon Left , Ruggie noticed that he was getting more money more often , like Leona felt a little more generous , he found extra in one of his pockets, etc

He explained it to you and then you told him that “If Mammon likes you , your money chances much higher “ which made him happy

But then he slowly realized that Mammon was broke and in debt , which says a lot

Jade

He was quite interested in your stories , even took great interest in the demons you spoke of

by his luck, he was able to meet one

You were chilling in the lounge and Jade was being your server , then Suddenly , Barbatos appeared

Barbatos was there to get a status update from you but he did stay for a little since jade had questions

Jade was thrown off when Barbatos mentions his time powers , which quickened his sense and knew what would happen , even predicated that Azul was about to burst through the door in anger

Which jade didn’t believe until it actually happens

He thought he could try to trick him into a contract but Barb was just as Sneaky as he was

Barbatos almost even tricked jade into working for Diavolo as a joke

but other then that , they got along fine

After a bit, they proceeded to talk while Jade continued to work

you were glad that Barbatos had a friend to share interests with someone else , Barb even promised to bring Mushrooms From Devildoom

Jamil

You didn’t tell him the stories directly , but he overhears from you telling kalim

at first he has no interest but at some point , he will purposely listen on you two , he sometimes makes excuses to sit with you too and listen

He wasn’t sure how to think of these demons til he met a certain sleepy demon

Belphegor appeared out of nowhere and Jamil considered him a threat , so he guarded Kalim naturally

He calmed down when he saw you go up to him in a friendly tone

Belphie didn’t do much when he visited by it still made Jamil feel unsettled

that was until he was alone with Belphie

He actually started talking once they were alone , which somewhat surprised jamil

It was causal until he learns more about what happened between you and belphie, let’s just say he was surprised and a little freaked out

but at the same time, Jamil somewhat did the same to you and the others before so he’s not too freaked

Jamil somewhat bonds because they both share being regrettable of their decisions and trying to reform

He felt a little sad because Belphie had to leave but he was looking forward to talking with him again

Rook

As someone who has interest in all sorts of creatures, of course he’d listen to your stories

He’ll listen very carefully and about each of the demons , angels and human you talked about

and with his luck , Asmo appears, what beauty ! he was ecstatic

Asmo came because he wanted to visit Vil again but was put to a holt when Rook was complimenting him

Asmo was absolutely loving how Rook was describing him and you were just standing there like “ now he’s gonna come even more often here”

Rook calls Asmo “ Monsieur Démon de la luxure (Demon of Lust)

Asmo noticed how he was getting the worshipped he surely deserved , he even offered a way for Rook to summon but you stopped him because you know what rook might do with that

but after that , Rook and Asmo enjoyed tea together and they actually talked about Vil with his beauty with Asmo indulging himself with his beauty at times , which Rook didn’t mind

You were wondering if Asmo was gonna becomes a Pomefoire student at this point.

Ortho

He was young(?) so of course he’d love to listen to your stories

Sometimes he even records what you say so he can listen to it again if he wanted

one time you offered to summon one of the demons for Orthro to ask questions or research and he was so excited

That’s when you summoned Satan

He seemed Irritable , might of been reading , until he noticed little ortho looking like a ball of energy

he gives you a look and you mouth “go along with it “

Ortho starts asking basic questions of demons and Satan seemed to be enjoying himself , which somewhat surprised you

Satan actually stayed longer than you intended but it was fine with you

satan mainly followed ortho , because he was actually somewhat interested in Ortho’s history but he doesn’t go into too much detail with him

For the most part they were enjoying each other company and it was hard to break them apart

sadly there was a point where Satan had to leave but he promised Ortho to come again , he even gave him a book to read over and that they can talk over when he comes back again

Ortho is looking forward to it each day

Lilia

do we really have to mention how he’ll react?

this guy probably has some demon friends himself but he still took interest in your stories

He does want to meet one of them because of how interesting they sound , mainly lord Diavolo , he kinda sounds like malleus in a way

You would love to introduce but you don’t have a pact with Diavolo , sadly

but to your surprise, Diavolo came to you , for a check up of course

Diavolo came in like his usual style and was caught off when seeing lilia with you

That’s when you took your chance and introduce them to each other

which you somewhat regret

they start talking but they actually talk for HOURS

you left for the nigth and came back in the morning and see them STILL at the tea table talking- like what ???

You were glad they were getting along but still-

Lilia actually mentions some secrets to Diavolo but stops when you get too close to hear them , no sneaky mc ~

so overall , Lilia made an ally and friend with the king of demons

Twisted Wonderland Reaction Part 7 ~ Rook Thirst Go Burrr Edition

I’ve gone into gem saving mode until Beans Day/Vil’s birthday so this will be the last set of vignettes I’ll be reading for a while.

At this point it’s been little more than a month since I’ve gotten into twst and I already have over 100 tagged posts abt it, 7 new ocs (not including RSA ocs) and several fic ideas on the backburner. Ah well, I stopped thinking abt it a while ago. I’m just gonna enjoy the ride

Kalim is me, falling for Rook and adding him to my favorites. Really, I didn’t think he’d be a favorite at first but now he is. And I lowkey hate it (affectionately).

That is true, back when I was going to conventions regularly, it took me about 2 hours minimum to get ready and a good amount of that was just makeup. Lolita me would have been perfect in Pomefiore.

Actually, Jamil is Snow White

Now that I have your attention with my batshit theory, let me explain it along with my other predictions for the future events of chapter 5 in a 2,500+ word mess of an essay.

The past chapters have all correlated to the plot of the original Disney movie in some way. So how does chapter 5 correlate with Snow White? For the movie's story, it starts with Snow White living with her stepmother, who is vain, self-centered, and afraid that one day Snow White will surpass her beauty. The Queen makes efforts to suppress Snow White's beauty by making her a scullery maid, but Snow White does eventually surpass her. This causes the Queen to order her Huntsman to kill Snow White, but the Huntsman can't bring himself to do it and he presents the queen with a decoy heart instead.

What's interesting about TWST is that Neige has already surpassed Vil at the very beginning. Furthermore, rather than focus solely on his own beauty and beat down potential rivals, Vil attempts to nurture the beauty of the rest of his dorm and the VDC team. So how in the world do we correlate the events of the chapter to the original movie? Well, we know from previous chapters that the person twisted from a character might not be the one to actually take that character's role in the story. Though Farena exists, the one Leona tries to sabotage is Malleus. Though Rielle exists, the one Azul makes a special deal with is Yuu. Even though Neige has played a bigger part in the story so far compared to Farena and Rielle, he still might not actually be the Snow White of this story. So who are our possible candidates here?

As the person meant to rival Neige's cute appeal, Epel is the first one to pop into mind. Perhaps the NRC team's performance during the VDC goes well enough that Epel suddenly gets tons of popularity. The internet latches onto him, so much so that, at least temporarily, he ends up surpassing both Vil and Neige in Mira's beauty calculation. However, this wouldn't make sense. The Queen is supposed to hate and sabotage the Snow White, and Vil has no reason to do that to Epel after spending so much effort helping him with the express goal of having him beat out Neige. So who else?

While browsing Pixiv one night, I came across a funny comic (it was long ago enough that I don't remember how to find it again, unfortunately) where Azul actually did livestream Jamil's evil monologue in chapter 4. Rather than becoming a big scandal though, it actually becomes famous because of how good-looking Jamil is, so much so that Vil finds out about it because Jamil's name is the one Mira tells him when Vil does a beauty check. Vil proceeds to change his plans for the VDC by dumping Epel and choosing Jamil as the sole main vocal so that Jamil is his "poison apple" against Neige instead.

With the recent update, Vil's plan for the VDC is officially finalized, so that comic is firmly in AU territory. However, what if something similar happens? The NRC team's performance goes amazing. However, it is not Vil or Epel that gain attention, but Jamil, the 3rd main vocalist. Against Vil and everyone else's expectations and plans, the internet goes wild over this mysterious pretty boy, boosting Jamil into the position of most beautiful. Even Neige had to spend some amount of time getting gigs and whatever to attain his fame, but Jamil has done basically nothing outside the VDC and now he's suddenly the best... How would Vil feel about that?

With the whole trend of the previous overblot causing the next, this theory of Jamil = Snow White makes sense. Though they could always make it so it's Neige and Epel doing the stuff and then at the end Jamil delivers a speech or something that gives the final push to overblot, it would be a lot more interesting (and funny) for Jamil to be thrust into the spotlight earlier on and be a main reason for Vil's overblot.

However, all of this assumes that the beginning of Snow White correlates with the beginning of chapter 5. Let's consider that the beginning of chapter 5 actually correlates with the situation later in the movie when the Queen is plotting to get Snow White with the poison apple. In this situation, Neige would actually be the Snow White of the story. However, unless we pull some funky timeline stuff, the theory I've seen of Rook betraying Vil wouldn't happen then, since we're already past that point in the movie. So what is next? In the movie, Snow White bites the apple and falls asleep. The dwarfs return to their cottage and chase the Queen, who eventually falls to her death when a lightning bolt destroys the precipice she's cornered on. (Fun fact from Wikipedia, her scream while falling was reused for Sleeping Beauty when Maleficent gets stabbed by the Sword of Truth). Anyway, the dwarfs proceed to put Snow White in the glass coffin until a year later when the prince kisses her and takes her to his castle.

Welp, look here, we have the dwarves in TWST, so they could definitely fulfill the try to hurt Vil part here. But what would lead them to do that? Assuming that as RSA students they are heroic, they would hurt Vil if they felt that he had hurt Neige. Vil's plan for the VDC competition seems to just be performing like normal and hoping that their hard work and effort will shine through and win them the competition, so either something has to happen that causes a last-minute change to that plan or some sort of misunderstanding (Vil getting canceled) happens. How would a misunderstanding happen? It could originate from fans angry that Neige didn't win, but Vil has plenty of his own fans to counter that and make an even-sided battle. Some new falling out between Vil and Epel could occur, resulting in either Epel himself going and hurting Vil's reputation or someone else (the media or Neige) seeing Epel distraught and believing that Vil is abusing him in some way. If it's Neige that could be interesting since it'd kinda be a situation where Epel is Snow White and Neige is his Huntsman. Neige x Epel new otp??? haha anyway, there's also the possibility that the RSA students are not heroic, and the dwarves go and make rumors about Vil themselves as an underhanded strategy to give Neige the victory.

All this talk is making me forget about my boy Jamil though. How would he fit in here? Again, from the previous overblots, we know that Jamil will likely oppose Vil in some way. We have also established that this chapter 5's start = the Queen's poison apple plan's start, so Neige is the Snow White. The remaining roles for Jamil are the dwarves (unlikely since we have actual dwarves), the huntsman (unlikely since timeline and also Rook exists), and finally, the prince. Jamil x Neige new otp??? lmao anyway, What would this role mean for his involvement in the story? Well, the prince only shows up at the end to wake up Snow White, so that would make this a situation like I mentioned before with Jamil just showing up to do a speech or something that pushes Vil over the edge. Boring, what else could we do?

Well, what about the original fairy tale of Snow White? In there, the dwarves don't kill the Queen. Instead, she lives until the day of Snow White and the prince's wedding, where the prince makes her dance in red-hot slippers until she dies as punishment for trying to kill Snow White. Why would Jamil give enough of a shit about Neige to go against Vil like that though? Well, y'know what fuck it let's squeeze someone else into the role of Snow White. Kalim certainly has the hair color for it. Since Kalim is just one of the backup vocals and hasn't had much going on aside from his personal character development this chapter idk what Vil could possibly do to him. Perhaps something pertaining to his family's wealth and fame? Whatever it is, some sort of threat to Kalim would be enough motivation for Jamil to do something to Vil. Interaction between Kalim and Jamil would also serve to finish up whatever development is going on between them. Seriously bro I know Jamil was probably just stalking Kalim in that one episode to make sure he's safe but that scene is really haunting me WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Whatever, let's keep this circus rolling with some Rook discussion! Again, we got the theory that Rook will betray Vil like the Huntsman betrayed the Queen. To discuss this idea, we gotta discuss Rook's motivations first. In episode 5-27, quoting from the translation on the wiki by Kanade Musings, Rook claims that "being a mere spectator to beautiful people and beautiful things provide [him] with such happiness" and he is "here to offer what help [he] can to help save beauty." However, he points out that "Vil does not need [Rook] to save him;" instead, what Rook wants "to protect is not Vil himself, but rather the 'beauty' he possesses." The chapter ends with Rook saying that the others would understand what he's saying if they encountered a "beauty that is blinding" and would "bring light to [their] lives."

So, with this information, would Rook betray Vil and why would he betray Vil? Well, there's the possibility that RSA's performance wows him and he switches to protecting Neige's beauty. However, this doesn't feel right to me. Neige is very famous. His first appearance was in a commercial that Cater got even when not specifically trying to find stuff on Neige. I would seriously doubt that Rook has not already done research into Neige and observed what beauty he has. If Rook doesn't already find Neige extraordinarily beautiful, I doubt that a single dance performance could transform his opinion of him. However, what if that was compounded by some loss of Vil's beauty? However, would Rook allow that to happen? He expressly said he wishes to protect Vil's beauty. If Vil lost beauty, would Rook really abandon him, or would he work to bring Vil back to his senses and restore his beauty?

Now, going back to the idea of Rook doing a betrayal, we already established way back at the beginning of this monstrosity (if you made it this far please take a hydration break or something alright? take care of yourself I love you) that Neige is not necessarily the Snow White of the story. So, we have the possibility of Rook turning against Vil on Epel's behalf, which... doesn't seem right. Idk it might be because I still just can't envision a scenario with Rook outright betraying Vil. Again, Rook has spent a bunch of time observing Epel and watching him grow. What could Epel possibly do that could mega boost his beauty in Rook's eyes? He's spent time observing Jamil too, though not as much as he observes some other people. Like, Rook is a hunter, extremely skilled at assessing targets and figuring out what makes them tick. For his opinion of someone to seriously change, it would require equally exceptional deception or change on the target's part. Seriously, why would he betray Vil?

Okay, how about we consider what exactly Rook finds beautiful. As we know from the auditions (ボーテ！100点！), Rook was able to find beauty in every person's performance, no matter how clumsy or unskilled they were. So, we get the sense that at the very least, Rook considers things beautiful that most people wouldn't consider beautiful. Then, what makes Vil beautiful to him? We know Vil is beautiful by normal person standards, but Rook doesn't go by normal person standards. Does Rook feel drawn to his determination? His power? Something we don't know about yet? I don't think we know for sure, so we don't know what it would take for Vil to lose beauty in Rook's eyes.

Well, there's a part of Rook that hasn't really come up in the main story yet: his fascination with the nonhuman students. This just brings up more questions. Since Vil is human... as far as we know... Rook's behavior towards him is motivated by something different than that which motivates his hunts, even if that something different is just a different way of being beautiful. ARGHH I DON'T KNOWWWWW we're going into his voice lines

Alright, ceremonial robes home tap 3 (from twstarchives): "There is beauty that some are just born with, but the beauty you work hard to achieve holds immeasurable power. Isn't that right?" Okay now we're getting somewhere, he appreciates hard work! Oh yeah didn't Vil say some stuff cause he felt defeated by Neige being better even though Vil put in all this hard work? The development of that sort of attitude would probably constitute a loss of beauty. Hard work would therefore also make someone beautiful in Rook's eyes.

So, who works hard? Yep, Jamil we're bringing you in again. Remember, a change is needed to drive the plot and prompt a change in Rook. Haven't we had a major change in Jamil's attitude already? Starting with having to funnel all his hard work into Kalim and keeping himself under Kalim, after chapter 4 Jamil is now channeling his work into himself and finally showing off his true talents. Given that Rook can't possibly stalk everyone in NRC in-depth, he likely doesn't have a complete idea of Jamil's capabilities especially given how Jamil was specifically trying to stay under the radar. This may give Jamil the possibility to surprise Rook with his full power, potentially shifting Rook's opinion enough to give him a significant appreciation of Jamil's beauty.

With all this information, I think I can try and build a rough simulation of events. So, the VDC teams do their performances and wow the crowd. In the meantime while the judges are deciding who wins, some shit goes down: Vil gets canceled or something, Jamil gains popularity, idk something with Neige & the dwarves. Vil's mental health takes a turn for the worst and he resorts to underhandedness. He enlists Rook for some plot against Jamil or Neige. However, Kalim gets caught in the crossfire. Inspired by Jamil's beauty and efforts to help Kalim, Rook ends up going against the plan and Vil. Vil overblots, blah blah backstory, then the judges release the results of the competition, and the winding down/aftermath/party time is the 2nd day of the festival whatever when the gang can go see all the other booths and stuff.

Even after all this I sincerely doubt my final prediction here will come to pass but y'know, all about the journey not the destination. Honestly, I thought of the title of this post when I was only partway through like "Haha isn't this theory about Jamil being Snow White so out there" but nope that's actually a foundation of my ideas now. Mari in Twisted Wonderland | abridged version

ayyyy bois guess who finally decidied to write that headcanon post about my mc in twisted wonderland.

Warnings | brief mention of a suicide attempt

Prologue

As Mari stepped out the portal back home, she gave a shaky sigh. The amount of emotions racking her body was nearly overwhelming. Her stay in the Devildom was over. The faces she grew used to were gone. She was left in a place that she stopped calling home a long time ago.

Her chocolate gaze turned to the environment around her. It seemed to be the rooftop that she stood on before she was dropped into Hell. She recalled why she was there in the first place. It was certainly fortunate that she was prevented from doing what she was going to do and was given a chance at a better life.

She placed her bag down and sat on a bench nearby. The weather was actually quite pleasant, not a single cloud in sight. Her eyelids fluttered shut, resting for a moment.

But when they opened, she wasn’t in the same place anymore.

Darkness surrounded her vision. A single mirror was in front of her.

Her eyebrows furrowed. Huh? What’s this?

A hand reached out from the mirror. Oddly enough, it seemed to beckon to her. A strong urge to take the hand.

And before she could understand what was going on, Mari felt her body act on its own, reaching for the hand and taking it.

Everything that happened after was but a blur.

When Mari came to, she found herself in a strange place filled with coffins. And in front of her was this strange creature that resembled a cat.

The cat introduced himself as “The Great Grim” and threatened her with roasting her if she didn’t give him the clothes in the suitcase beside her.

From one world to another. It seemed that she couldn’t catch a break. Regardless, she started running out of the room of coffins once she heard him, mentally thanking Mammon for teaching her how to run from danger.

The place she was in turned out to be another school, seeing the classrooms and hallways. She ended up in the library, thinking it might be a good hiding spot from that strange being.

Only to find herself wrong when she turned around to see him.

Fortunately, this man with a crow mask saved her using his “whip of love”

That sounded awfully familiar…

Then, he started scolding her, thinking she was a student and that this Grim guy was her familiar. But it was only until he turned to her that he noticed that she was a girl.

“You’re… a woman?!”

Her eyes narrowed at him and placed her hands on her hips. “I can leave if you want me to. Just tell me where I am and I’ll be on my way.”

He cleared his throat and apologized. “Excuse me, the teleportation magic must’ve left you disoriented. Well, it’s fine. It doesn’t make too much of a difference. I’ll explain it to you along the way, for I am gracious.”

He explained to her that she was in Night Raven College and introduced himself as Dire Crowley. It appeared that the world she was in was called Twisted Wonderland. Strange.

As she listened to him, she wondered if she should tell him she couldn’t use magic. But then figured that it’d be rude to interrupt him.

They finally got to the entrance ceremony. People saw her and seemed to be surprised, whispering stuff like “What’s a girl doing in here?”

Dark Mirror was like “bro this bitch empty (of magic)” and hell broke loose especially after Grimm broke free to set everything on fire.

Time for Mari’s first impressions of the dorm leaders so far

Riddle - Reminds her of Luke. Short and strict.

Kalim - poor guy got his butt set on fire

Leona - he hot (not literally like Kalim tho) but grumpy

Vil - hair goals. Probably takes better care of his hair than her mother has taken care of her in her entire lifetime. Has a pleasing color scheme as well.

Azul - why does he talk like he’s always being overdramatic?

But also

Riddle: collars Grim

Azul: I want it… No. I wouldn’t ever want that cast on me

Mari, internally: kinky…??

Idia - Well, he wasn’t even physically there and seemed to just be using a floating tablet to talk. Might be a shut-in like Levi.

Malleus - she felt bad for a guy she’s never met. Like damn he didn’t get invited

So then Crowley was like “you can't stay here bc you dont have magic”

Mari is like “understandable have a good day”

Man, that was a quick adventure. At least she won’t have to stay for long.

Lol sike

Dark Mirror: lol I can’t find this bitch’s home in this world

Mari tells Crowley where she’s from. He’s like “Never heard of it” and checks the library, only to find nothing in the world maps.

He decides to let her stay in the Ramshackle Dorm. She sees it and is like “Damn, why does Literal Hell look more appealing than this place?”

Mari’s like “I’ve been in the Devildom. Ghosts don’t scare me” when she meets the ghosts in the dorm.

Timeskip to when she and Grimm meet Ace because she doesn’t do much ngl.

She’s trying to yell at Grim to stop but can’t get close bc ow fire

They burnt the Queen of Hearts’ statue and Crowley is like “fuck you. Go clean like 100 windows”

Mari and Grim wait for Ace but realize he’s ditching so they chase after him.

She runs into Deuce and asks him for help but he was just “GIRL?!”

Fortunately Grim stepped in and yelled at him to help.

BOOM! Cauldron.

More chaos ensued after Grim ran off and they ended up breaking the chandelier.

Then they gotta find that magic crystal to give to Crowley or else they get expelled. Mari is just exasperated. Why did literal demons from hell give her less trouble than these people? They even tried to murder her a few times!

Regardless, she still keeps her cool and guides them when it comes to fighting that shadow beast monster.

Ace: How are you so calm?!

Mari: Have you ever been to Hell?

They get the crystal, Grim eats the black rock, she’s just like “Oh he’s like Beel”

They get the rock to Crowley, he’s like “wow i didn’t think you’d actually do it”

Mari explained what happened and he’s like -surprised pika- then cries about something about her being a beast tamer or whatever before being like “aight you and grim are one student now and also you’re not expelled anymore.”

“But Headmaster, she’s a girl-” “shhh she’s an exception. As I am so gracious, I am giving her a place to stay while I try to find a way for her to get home.”

“Also have this Ghost Camera lmao. You’re barely ever gonna use it in the story but have it anyway”

And she’s like “Understandable have a good day”

Deuce wanted to thank her but still has trouble talking to her bc girl and Ace teases him for it

She told him she wasn’t going to bite him or anything which made him relax slightly. Everyone is happy. Mari thinks that these guys might not be so bad.

Soon enough, they went on their separate ways to their dorms.

Happily Ever After. Lol jk there are like 4 more chapters to this story as of now. Suffering doesn’t end

“do you even lift bro?” extra notes i - iii:

I finally finished rereading all my “do you even lift bro?” stories! Man, I feel like I wrote them ages ago. As I mentioned before, I have been going back to do grammatical edits and what not. In the process, I’ve also been noting down my thought process for writing these pieces, and little easter eggs I put in for fun~ This extra notes will contain my thoughts from versions i to iii!

*please do not read if you haven’t read “do you even lift bro?” ver i - iii.

The title came to me immediately upon reading the request hahah. originally, it was meant to just be fluffy and cute... but I think it’s actually pretty funny. To me, at least hahah.

Divus’s was the one exception, but i’ll get into that later.

The reader personality was based on one of my ocs. She was also the oc in my special Malleus x OC story, “bright eyes.”

I went with her because she was an OC, who, in my opinion, is the epitome of a optimistic fangirl lmao. If you’ve read “bright eyes” then I think you’d understand what I mean hahahah.

For ver i--I think I definitely wrote Riddle’s first. followed by Leona, Azul, Malleus, Kalim, Vil then Idia.

One of my best friends is a super huge Riddle stan (if you’re reading this, hi sis!) so I wrote his story primarily with her energy in mind. In short, she would most definitely bench press Riddle.

Her energy + the base reader personality makes Riddle’s story one of the most fun actually. His reader is probably the most mischievous ones--which I thought balanced out well with Riddle’s actual personality.

Leona’s story is heavily influenced by pride dynamics. It’s common knowledge that it’s the female lions who hunt hence why in Afterglow Savanna--the women are stronger. Leona is royalty, so I assumed that from a young age he’d be told to wed a strong woman.

I also need to note that Leona is described as respecting women. here’s the thing, I’m pretty sure it’s specifically women from Afterglow Savanna because they could bench press him. That’s not to say he doesn’t respect all women--he probably just puts women from Afterglow Savanna on a different standard because of his experience with them. Either way, you surprised him greatly, and assume that Leona will not be able to look you in the eye for awhile.

Azul’s story specifically takes place after Jamil SR Lab Coat episodes and Azul’s R PE Uniform episodes. I found their relationship funny, and thought it would be fun to continue off from there.

Most of Azul’s stories come from me just wanting to fluster the hell out of Azul... that being said, I did delve a bit into the magic of TWST for this one. I remember it was Crowley (was it in the prologue?) who noted that magic is dependent also on how much someone believed in their ability to do something. This is why Azul falls down haha, his will faltered and he stopped believing.

Jamil doesn’t get a break at all, doesn’t he? The reader and Jamil actually vibe really well because they both understood enough about Kalim to know what he was doing.

I think I remember being pretty stuck on which one to do for this. I think it was reading Jamil’s SSR Dorm Uniform story that really made me have an ‘aha’ moment on how to write it--since something like this happens on there.

Surprisingly for Vil, once I had figured out that I wanted to write him getting mobbed, and being saved by his reader--it flowed out really fast from there.

For Vil, I always end up bringing up the issue that he’s something like a celebrity and you are one in the million who adore him. I thought that this was just one way to sort of tackle your relationship together.

I really enjoyed highlighting how you love Vil different from the rest who adore him. The importance of how you see his flaws and still love him--especially because as an influencer Vil has a certain pressure to appear in a certain way.

Idia’s was the last one I wrote, but I had a lot of fun because I stuffed it full of references. I figured that Idia’s thought process would be more of him thinking life as a game, that’s why he uses terms like support level often in my writing.

On that note, I know ‘Gao-Gao Dragon-kun’ is a reference to Tamagotchi, but I decided to just merge up Tamagotchi and Pokemon in this case. Hence why ‘Gao-Gao Shield and Sword’ existed lmao. I didn’t put too much effort in that and just switched ‘Shield and Sword’’s order HAHAH. I did consider making it ‘Gao-Gao Gun and Wand’ though.

‘Water Crest: The Seven Dorms’ is a reference to Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I felt incredibly clever when I came up with that HAHAH. But also, when he references support levels, he’s talking about a gameplay in Fire Emblem. For people who aren’t familiar with this, essentially, FE has a system wherein the more you use two units together the likely their support will rise. The supports go from C-B-A-S, with S as the highest. When Idia says he works hard on S Support, he literally means he went out of his way to spend time with you and befriend you. Isn’t that cute? When he references SS Support, it actually doesn’t exist HAHA, but he didn’t realize there was “another level” sort of thing xD

When I write funny Malleus stories, the other members of Diasomnia are likely to be hiding in the bushes. Most funny stuff probably fly over Malleus’s head so... The other Diasomnia members pop in to react hahaha.

To Malleus, your tendency to treat him as a regular person, and not treating him as a lord--makes him incredibly fond of you. It’s because you treat him as an equal, that makes him treat you as an equal. I also think this was the piece where he started calling you “bright light.” There’s no deeper meaning to it, he really just sees you as a bright light--like a brilliant star. You, literally, light up the world. :,)

Ver ii order of writing--Ashton, Dire, Divus. I had come up with the premise of Divus first though.

I think Dire was the hardest one for me, because I kept worrying about things like--’what if he’s not actually like this,’ or ‘what if that isn’t how he would actually act’ etc etc. but I think it turned out pretty alright.

Dire, for all his claims of being a kind person--I think actually is a kind guy. He does have the tendency to be a little manipulative and whatnot... but at the end of the day he does care.

For Divus, I sniffed GBF Belial’s Perfume because I wanted to get inspired (and I sort of headcanon they smelled alike) but it went horny too fast.

Divus is naturally intrigued with you, and he’s also very aware you’re attracted to him. So it amuses him to fluster you. He’s very aware of how good-looking he is, and he doesn’t mind flirting with people.

How I chose to portray Divus is actually based on how @avionvadion writes Divus in her story “Once Upon A Dream.” please check it out! It’s a super cute fanfic about a girl in Twisted Wonderland~

Ashton... I was surprised at how fast I was able to write his piece actually hahha. I went with a no braincell, but cheerful and all-around good guy.

I don’t think there was a lot of Ashton to really research about, but... I just tried to make him good guy Gaston... for now xD

Ver iii--it went Floyd, Jamil, Jade, Rook, Lilia, and Epel.

There’s this scene in, I think, the first episode of Avatar: The Legend of Aang where Appa wouldn’t fly. So Sokka just straight up... insulted? Appa? i guess. Then Appa suddenly COULD fly, and Sokka was just straight up amazed and yelling... Yeah that was my primary inspiration for Floyd’s story.

Floyd... Floyd is twins with Jade, let’s not forget that. I’m sure Floyd is actually really intelligent, he just isn’t in the mood to be sometimes. Hence he’s able to really understand something when you say something seriously. I think Floyd would always take you seriously when you say something important.

For Jade’s story, my inspiration was the story of my dad tripping. It was only witnessed by him and mom. My mom talked about how terrifying it was to watch a six foot tall man fall down. My dad just found it funny. Hence, I thought, Jade should trip.

Other than that, the general idea I wanted was that it’s our time to pamper Jade. He’s one of the two characters who I know would love to pamper his reader. So this was his lover’s chance to pamper him. Also, he’s also one of two characters who would have an idea about your insane strength.

Jamil, much like Jade, is the type of guy who pampers the people he loves. He doesn’t take to being pampered too well. He’s not used to it.

Jamil also appreciates getting his hard work recognized, so I’m sure he has a praise kink hahah. He’s also easily embarrassed. I think Jamil needs someone who acknowledges all of his hard work, who also accepts his mistakes.

Epel was the last one to write, and actually a genuine struggle for me. I always... end up writing something in relation to his struggles with his face and femininity. Epel is someone who wants to be seen as a real man, so I worried about what he’d think of a reader who had the strength he wanted.

I figured if it was anyone else, it might inspire jealousy in Epel--but because it was his lover, he was able to push aside his negative feelings and look at the bright side. You’re truly his ideal, and he wants to learn how to be strong from you.

Rook was another tough one. There did exist a version where you surprise him... but the more I thought about it, the more I found it impossible for Rook to not know or not have an idea. He’s the other character who would have an idea about your strength.

On that note, thinking about a romantic partner for Rook... I thought what was best was someone who wouldn’t find him odd. Who would actually try to learn about him.

Lilia’s... was also pretty easy given he enjoyed hanging upside down a lot in the main story hahah. Lilia cute, I love him. Also, when will Lilia stop messing with Idia? Probably never tbh.

I touched upon the topic of mortality and immortality, but because I wanted this to be lighthearted--I chose not to pursue it. It would drag the mood down, but honestly--it’s something we can’t ignore and is very integral in relationships with Lilia or Malleus.

Hello~The tweel cards are absolutely *sobbing screaming* everything I wanted. JADE CAME HOME. I was saving for Malleus, but I pulled in Jade's route just to cheer me up and HE DID!! Also I know it's technically the tweels birthday, but I'm crying over Azul. Like imagine them having a little birthday tradition they still keep alive: like Azul playing a special song on the piano or cooking their fav foods or maybe hosted a feast in his Mom's restaurant or showed them a new spell he was working on that he's really proud of. My heart.

BRO THE TWEEL CARDS ARE SO GOOD 😭😭😭😭 I had low expectations for the art because I wasn’t super into the general aesthetic of this year’s birthday and thought the tweels didn’t fit it BUT THEY WERE SO 🥹🥹🥹 OUGHH THEY’RE SO PRETTY IT’S SO INSANE

OK this will be a very fun one to have... Like it was fun to write it since ya know, it will follow the 'everybody clown until...' plot...

Yeah... It's kinda my fav type of plot to write. :'3

Now onto the party!

Before june 1st, Ortho slammed the money from his bet in front of Idia at LeBlanc and so, much to Idia's dismay, he had to set a day for the ramen payment. Riddle and Ortho mentally cheered.

Yet the 5th of June was a chaos since morning.

The twins came in advance and since the thieves group decided 'oh yeah, let's all hog Riddle's room for the night', these 2 tried to call dibs on the couch.

Sike, Ortho called dibs a night earlier. :'3

But also Idia seemed to prepare a lot for his own slumber party. It is still a shock that this guy landed a sleepover, let alone have the house empty of any kids. Futaba really had to pinch herself and Yusuke to check that it was real.

Meanwhile, Malleus was also preparing for the party. The others tried to help him and Azul by splitting into 3 groups.

Riddle, Ortho, Adeuce and Vil were helping Malleus out, while Rook, the twins and Epel aided Azul.

Meanwhile Jamil had to prepare along Kalim. Thankfully there wasn't too much hassle on that end, but because we are talking about the tight security at their place, the others couldn't mingle in so easily. :'3

Malleus really wanted to find a gift for his partner, as it was a tradition in his family to get courting gifts when inviting the other to a party. And while they were certainly not short on the Draconia bank account, it was hard for Malleus to decide, especially since he didn't want something very expensive.

Meanwhile Floyd tried to eat lipstick. Epel almost threw a perfume bottle through the window. Rook was rook and Jade seemed to just enjoy Azul's ever lasting 'I'm done with these dumbasses' face. :'3

In the end, Malleus decided on flowers. They could be put as little attentions to their attire after all. Then again, flowers were romantic and a go-to gift when it comes to dates or special events.

So they go to a flowershop!

And Jack was working there! :D

A small back and forth about casualties was given before Jack presented what the shop had in store today. He did ask what Malleus was aiming for. The other did say that it was for a very special someone. He also wanted a few narcissus and primrose in there.

Jack adds Carnations and Dahlias, although for the sake of easy to understand message, he also put roses. Jack's boss was a very kind lady who always told him to try and balance out bouquets and watch it to not be too heavy/big.

In the end, Malleus was more than happy with the bouquet. He did give an extra tip to Jack for his insight and help.

And with pulling out the costumes and everything, the preparations were done on all 3 ends. Malleus did say that he will pick up his date himself, like a true gentleman. :3

Meanwhile, Akira had his ever so trusty men(Ryuji and Yusuke) help him out. Haru was pampered by Ann, Makoto being the driver while Futaba was helping out with the dress.

So when the twins get dropped along Deuce and Ace at LeBlanc, it was the means that the guests will come at the party. Vil and Rook also came, all of them settling with some snacks and watching some movie at the TV. Futaba was with Yusuke at their now kid empty home, enjoying some peace and quiet.

Cheeka also got dropped by at LeBlanc, but the kiddo fell asleep by 20 and even when Adeuce yelled due to a scare from Floyd, cheeka didn't nudge. So they put him on the bed and there he slept all night.

Meanwhile, at the Ashengrotto residence... :3

"You sure don't want me to drop you by? Mom already left-" "I'm capable... I have the map on my phone, I got the route, train stops and I don't talk with anyone on my way there." Epel rolled his eyes as he adjusted his bag over his shoulder. The other only exhaled.

"Don't worry..." Epel mused. "Your japanese greatly improved with Malleus as a tutor... I must admit..." Azul smiled as he ruffled the lavender hair of the other. "Yeah! Now I can swear!" Epel happily declared, gaining an eye roll from the other.

After a small silence, Azul smiled as he put in Epel's hands a pouch with something in it. "Wha-" "You deserve it..." The other cut off with a smile as he looked at their hands. "It's something to show that... Whatever happens... You are apart of this family... And family will stay united no matter what, Epel... Alright?" The taller said quietly with a small smile, before turning onto his heel as his phone buzzed in the pocket.

"Call me if anything comes up!" He said before dissappearing through the door. Curiously, Epel opened the pouch.

The fake gems from the palace. All of them were in there.

Azul gave him more than half of the treasure.

For the party, Makoto drove Akira and Haru. Of course their gc was full of texts and Akira again just being a lil teasing shit.

The party was held at a very luxurious hotel.

And surprisingly, they arrived right when Kalim was checking in with Jamil. Or more like Jamil getting the formalities while Kalim was looking around a bit nervous. His emotions seemed to calm down once realising that Akira was in here with Haru. It was a bit hard to recognise each other(due to the whole mask thing), but Akira also reached them in time and Haru spoke her name to the receptionist, gaining their entry too.

Of course the usual compliments were given, although whenever Kalim was praised for his looks, he would immediately reply by saying that Jamil is totally slaying tonight. And ironically, Kalim couldn't seem to do justice to Jamil's fit for the night with just words as he put it lightly.

Pls Jamil... Appreciate the compliments, don't just puff... :'3

Meanwhile, the party was ready to start when the last ones arrived. First Mrs Asim with Mr Koizumi as her plus one. (much to Kalim's visible worry and annoyance).

And the last one was Malleus himself, who came with not 1, but apparently 2 partners, which was a shock for most people.

They didn't expect THE Draconia to bring in 2 partners.

Also the group at LeBlanc were spamming the whole GC when Kalim sent a photo of the whole ordeal. Like dayum, Malleus... Most of these guys can't get 1 date to save their lives... But here you are with 2... O-O;

Even wilder was when Epel arrived at LeBlanc and recognised Azul in the photo as one of Malleus's dates. Like that's when things went nuts completely, since who tf was the 3rd one?!

Meanwhile Akira living the high life and Haru just keeping him in check. It seems like Joker was slipping through like a waterfall. The adults PT chat was also running wild, but a tamer one since a lady tried to hit it on Akira at the buffet (blame the max charm U-U) and Haru went passive aggressive. Futaba and Ryuji encouraged a rich peeps fight in the gc.

Meanwhile Malleus did notice the stares he received. It was clear as day that his dates were a bit anxious about the stares, so for most of the party, they enjoyed it quietly in a corner.

That was, of course when it was announced that Mr Koizumi had something to say. At that moment Kalim was basically on the verge of either tears or throwing hands. Jamil holded him by the hand to remind him that homicide is still illegal in the real world. :'3

And so, much to the relief of the thieves, the man confessed to his crimes and the party had to be cut short due to the police getting an intervention.

This shit was also broadcasted as breaking news, so the sleepover gang had to interrupt their 3rd movie to see that and finally pop out the real cheers. Kalim and Jamil dropped at LeBlanc after the party, joining in the party gang.

Meanwhile, Malleus said that he will drop at Ashengrotto's for the night. He was let off the hook for the night, but tomorrow, it was clear as day that Vil, Ace, Jade and Ortho wanted the full on boiling tea.

"Well... Now they know..." Azul grumbled as Malleus closed his phone, putting it on the nightstand as he dragged the covers of the bed over all 3 of them. "I believe it was just a matter of time... Grandmother is accepting this... Much like Lilia and Sebek..." "Mom also was surprised about this, but happy nonetheless..." Azul mumbled, before the 2 looked at the 3rd person in the bed.

"I-I... I don't really know..." He mused, looking in another part. Malleus only exhaled as he draped his arm around both of them. "I know you are afraid... But we all have to face our true selves one way or another... And I am more than confident your parents will accept it..." "You say that?"

"Darling..." Azul breathed. "Whatever happens... We will always be here for you... And everything will be alright..." "this ain't a fairytale, Azul... This is reality... And reality is disappointing..." "Well now you are just pessimistic..."

Malleus only hummed as he nuzzled his face into the pillow, dragging the 2 closer. "Yeah... We get it, mal... Sleep..." The other 2 smiled as the 3 snuggled together.

PING!

"Epel won't let me live it down..." Azul breathed.

The next day, Epel busted down the door in the early morning. Boy got the first train and got there only to find just Azul in the apartament.

It was a known fact that Epel entered the apartment when the loud ass 'SO YA SMOOCHED WITH DRACONIA?!' was heard. It was so loud that Azul even dropped his books on the floor in surprise.

It was a bit of back and forth before Epel finally left Azul to prepare for school.

What he didn't know was that with the first second of privacy, Azul stuck his head out the window to check on something.

In the morning also, Idia came back from his sleepover. Apparently he and his buddies pulled an all nighter bingie watching the whole new season of the anime he was hooked up onto. He kept from watching the episodes in advance just for this.

Futaba makes a whole goddamn drama about it because 'this is why you didn't want to watch it with me?!'.

Leona also came to pick up Cheeka. So the man did cht with Futaba for a bit, while Riddle, Ortho and everyone who had a sleepover got ready for the school.

But they overheard a bit of the conversation. Leona mentioned that his flight would be on July 9th, at night. That was also when his brother with wife and Cheeka would leave as well, but for their own country. Leona was relived that finally those political affairs discussions were done and over.

Reminded by the look of sadness Cheeka gave to his uncle, the group decided to get back on track again.

So calling Malleus and Epel, after school the group assembled for a meeting. Vil, Rook and Jade made their little homework regarding Leona.

Leona was the 2nd prince of the Kingscholar dynasty. His brother, the 1st born, also got the throne. Little is known of Leona as he seems to not be that active in the public life. Rumors circled around about possible affairs or illegal things he might be doing.

The most outrageous rumor was Leona attempting to get the throne. But that, of course, would be if his brother would give it up or if he died before Cheeka, the next in line, would be of age to rule.

So with those on hand, the group was ready to get in the Palace.

Except that things can never be that simple... :'3

"Sebek-" "SHHHHH..." Jack only rolled his eyes as he awkwardly looked around, before glancing back at the bush in which the other was hiding. "Wakasama keeps dissappearing! He might be involved in some illegal things!" the Greenhead declared.

"I doubt it..." Jack mused. He didn't even know how did he get in this, but Sebek was his gym buddy and when he expressed, quite in the Sebek fashion, that his Wakasama might be in danger, Jack didn't expect to be faced with babysitting a bush.

And to add it, Jack was surprised he didn't receive as many odd looks as he expected.

"Sebek... I have homework... And you said we would do it together... Let's go... Your 'Wakasama' seems to be in a tight enough group to think of trouble..." The boy mused, rolling his eyes as he opened his phone, checking onto the time, then a few messages he got. Might as well play a game to pass some time before Sebek would finally let it go of his suspicions.

Except that Jack could bearly open the little mindless phone game when Sebek immediately jolted up and grabbed him by the arm, dragging Jack and making him trip, enough so that the 2 would topple down on the ground.

Sheepishly raising his head, Jack was ready to be faced with the array of stares from people and maybe a laugh or 2, since this was literally a cartoon stunt.

Fsh...

Against his expectations, Jack found himself with leaves in his face. Redressing himself along Sebek, the 2 looked around in confusion.

A jungle....

"Sebek, just so you know, I still have to be home by 18..."

(Sorry there’s no x reader this time around, I just thought this would be a really cute and funny idea and I’m going to stress now that Leona and Ruggie’s relationship is platonic) (Also sorry that Jack isn’t in this a lot)

Leona groaned as he was shaken gently along with the sound of a raspy voice and coughing from above him.

“L-leona you have to- *cough cough* get...up…”

Leona sat up and looked at the noise only to see Ruggie, but instead of his normal glare, he had a red face with a hazy look in his eyes, he wasn’t wearing his uniform and looked like he was about to fall over.

“Good you’re *cough* up...we need to go-” Ruggie started coughing again and Leona stood up, “Hey Ruggie, you alright?”

“Ye-yeah I’m-” Ruggie suddenly fainted and Leona caught him, Ruggie’s breathing was heavy and his body was extremely warm but he was still shivering.

Leona shook him, “Hey...Ruggie…!” But Ruggie wouldn’t wake up and so Leona picked him up, laid him on his bed and covered him up with a blanket and quickly ran out of the room, bumping into Jack.

“Hey! What the hell?!” Jack yelled

Leona just rolled his eyes, “Jack go to my room and don’t leave until I come back, there’s something weird with Ruggie.”

“What do you mean?” “He’s shaking and his face is red, I’m getting Coach Vargas, I’ll be right back” Leona ran out of the dorm, leaving Jack confused.

Ashton stood up from beside Leona’s bed where Ruggie still laid, “You guys have nothing to worry about, it’s just a small case of the flu, he’ll be better in about a week, I’ll get Divus to make up some medicine for him and I’ll get you a list of things you’ll need.”

Leona sighed, “Thanks Coach, you really saved us.” Ashton smiled, “You’re lucky I double as this school’s nurse but still, I wonder what could’ve caused this, your guy’s dorm is almost as hot as Scarabia so it can’t be because of the cold.”

Jack just growled, “I can’t believe I had to miss first hour because of this, I’m going, Leona you should too.”

Leona sighed again, “Right, I’m coming, Coach, can I have that list of stuff? I’ll make stops between classes.”

Ashton handed him a piece of paper with his writing, “Right here, see you in gym class.”

Leona and Jack watched as Asthon left and Leona put his hand to his forehead, ‘How did I let this happen? Ruggie was fine just yesterday...dammit, I need to watch him better.’

Jack sighed, “Come on, I’ve already missed one class, I don’t want to miss my others and become lazy like you.”

Leona rolled his eyes, “Fine.”

~~ Leona stared out the window in potions class, not hearing anything. “Leona Kingscholar!”

“Huh..?!” Leona nearly fell back in seat but caught himself, “Y-yeah…?” Divus sighed, “Get in your group, please, you’re with Vil and Rook, go.”

Leona nodded and got up, walking over to the cauldron and just nodding to his fellow 3rd years.

“Well, this is something new out of you beast, you’re usually quite snarky when you get paired up with me, something must’ve taken you down a peg.” Vil laughed but Leona didn’t respond, “Is something really the matter?” Rook asked.

“Ruggie’s sick...he’s got the flu…” Vil and Rook both looked at each other in surprise, neither of them had heard Leona so depressed before.

“That’s quite surprising, you treat him like an errand boy…you actually care that he’s sick?”

Leona looked at him with a glare, “He may do most of my errands but that won’t stop me from caring you asbestos covered piece of fruit.”

Vil gasped but then sighed, “Well, despite that comment, I’ll be nice and give you some fresh fruit for him, it helps for people who are sick.”

Leona nodded, "Thanks, I guess.”

Vil hummed, "Still, I'm surprised it took so long for him to crash, Epel was telling me about how your little errand boy looked like he was going to faint over the last few days."

Leona's ears went flat and his tail drooped, "He…he did…?"

Rook nodded, "Yes he's in my flying class, he started coughing and he got hazy during class the other day and Coach Vargas sent him back to your guy's dorm."

Leona looked down, "Ah…I see…"

Vil sighed, "You made him go on errands that day, didn't you?"

"Well…no, not me, but Jack and a few others did…"

Vil face palmed, "Goodness, you beasts are another thing altogether, you need to keep track of your dorm mate's health, Epel got a cold once but we were able to catch it before it got worse."

Leona nodded, "I get it…I'll be taking care of him when class ends."

Leona walked into the cafe part of the lounge where Azul, Jade and Floyd were all busy serving a few students.

Leona waited in line and Jade came up, "Well well well, if it isn't the king of the beasts, what can I get for you today?"

"I need some…" Leona pulled out the list Ashton gave him, "Uhh…some soup, some tea or juice and water."

Jade sighed, "You have to be more specific than that, is this even for you?"

Leona groaned, "No, it's for Ruggie, he's got the flu."

Jade looked surprised, "He finally crashed? That's interesting…"

Leona looked at him weird, "That's the second time I've gotten that today…"

Jade shrugged "Well, anyway, I'll get you what you need, I'd suggest olive leaf tea, chicken noodle soup and orange juice for your sick friend."

"More like slave boy!" Floyd laughed.

Leona growled, "He's not my slave…Fine, I'll take that, how much?"

Jade looked at Azul who nodded and turned back around to what he was doing.

"It's on the house, you're worried so just get it to him as quick as possible, alright?"

Leona slowly nodded and went to the waiting line.

Leona was walking back to the dorm with soup and drinks for Ruggie when someone called his name, he turned to see Kalim running towards him.

"Leona! There you are! I heard about how your errand boy finally crashed so I brought you some things for him!"

"Alright…though what for?"

Kalim laughed, "To help of course! I have a humidifier, washcloths for when he needs a wipe down, the finest water and fruit and of course the finest silk pajamas!"

Leona nodded, "Alright, thanks…"

Leona sighed as he walked into Sam's shop, he needed something to carry all the stuff he had received, everything from Kalim, blankets from Idia, rose tea from Riddle, fresh clothes from Malleus and the apples from Vil, plus the epsom salt and vapo rub he just had to get (advice from Vil)

Sam smiled from the shop counter, "Welcome, how can I help you?"

Leona walked over "I need like…a wagon or something and some epsom salt and vapo rub…"

"Because your errand boy finally crashed?"

Leona growled and slammed his fists on the counter, "Everyone has been saying that! He's not my errand boy! And everyone says something like,'he finally crashed' or 'oh so it finally caught up to him' and I don't understand why!"

Sam continued smiling, "Well, think about it, he does practically everything for you, he cleans your room, gets you stuff, does your job as dorm leader by breaking up fights and then he has his own problems to worry about, not to mention Jack and the others don't help that by also making him do errands."

Leona looked down, "I…I didn't realize I put so much strain on him…can I just get the stuff I need before this hot stuff turns cold?"

Sam snapped his fingers, "There, they'll stay warm for the next couple hours, here's the stuff you need, free of charge."

Leona put everything in the wagon and turned to the door, "Thanks Sam."

Ruggie groaned as he felt something cold on his forehead, he tried to sit up in bed but his body felt heavy, he managed to open his eyes and looked around.

"Why…why am I in Leona's room…?" He said out loud, unknowingly.

"Good you're awake, you have to eat something."

"No…no…I don't want to eat…also who are you…?"

Ruggie gasped as Leona leaned over him, "It's just me and what do you mean you're not hungry? You haven't stopped being hungry since you were a pup."

Ruggie shook his head, "I'm not hungry…not right now…and what are you doing? What's with the high ponytail and apron?"

Leona pet his head, which Ruggie immediately softened to, "You're sick, you have the flu and based on what everyone's been saying to me, you've been sick and I didn't notice."

Ruggie sighed "I…I wasn't sick…I was just…dizzy for a few days, I don't know where the flu came from…"

Leona rolled his eyes, "You're sick and you knew you were getting worse, I honestly wish you had told me since I was too much of an idiot to notice myself."

Ruggie looked away, "I…I thought you wouldn't care…nobody else seemed to except maybe Coach Vargas…"

"Well, they all cared when the word about you being sick spread, I got a bunch of stuff from other students for you." Leona chuckled.

"Oh…still…I'm not hungry…I don't feel like eating…"

Leona sighed, "If you're not hungry you should at least have a bath, I'll get you up."

Leona uncovered Ruggie and picked him up, walking him to the bathroom, sitting Ruggie on the toilet seat lid and turning on the bath, checking the water and putting the plug in.

Ruggie groaned, "The room is spinning…and I think I'm going to vomit…"

Leona rubbed his back gently, "If you need to vomit the sink is right there, the bath is almost done, don't worry ok?"

"Ok…"

The bath soon finished filling up, Leona helped Ruggie undress and put him in the bath.

"This feels kinda nice…" Ruggie said, sinking into the water more, "I don't ever really get to take hot baths like this…everyone else soaks up all the hot water…"

Leona smiled as he stood up, "Well, since you usually give me my baths from now on you can take them with me, the tub is big enough for us both, now just relax, I'll go cut up some fruit for you."

Ruggie closed his eyes and smiled, "Thank you…big bro…"

Leona stopped at the door, not turning around but he felt himself beginning to smile widely at the nickname he hadn't heard in years.

"No problem."

"Here Ruggie, ahhh"

"Ahhh"

Leona fed Ruggie a spoonful of soup, wiping his mouth when he was done and petting his head.

"You're being weirdly caring, you've never been like this before" Ruggie said

Leona smiled, "I know, I felt bad for ignoring you, Sam pointed out how I made you do everything as soon as you were old enough to start coming here, I don't know why I did, considering I used to hide you in my closet to keep you alive before you could've been enrolled as a student."

Ruggie laughed, "I remember that! You had to give me your dirty clothes to wear and then you started taking up sewing classes to make clothes for me."

Ruggie continued to laugh but started coughing hard, Leona frowned and pet his back, letting Ruggie cling to him as he continued to cough.

"Shhh, it's ok, you'll be alright Ruggie, I'm right here, big bro is right here."

Ruggie soon stopped coughing but continued to cling to Leona, burying his face in his chest while shaking.

"W-why did this happen…? When will it go away?" Ruggie asked

Leona pet his hair and helped him lay down, placing a fresh cold washcloth on his head, "Coach Vargas said it would be gone in about a week, you don't need to worry, ok?"

"Ok…"

Divus sighed as Ruggie hid under the blanket, "Ruggie please, you're not going to get better if you don't take your medicine, I made it myself it's not poison."

"What if it is? It smells weird…"

Divus looked at Leona.

Leona looked back at him.

"What?"

"You have to hold him, he won't take it otherwise."

Leona sighed and uncovered Ruggie, he sat him up, "Ruggie, you gotta take your medicine, it'll be quick ok?”

"Ok…"

Divus poured the medicine into a spoon and had Ruggie swallow it, Ruggie groaned as he did but Leona gave him a drink of water.

"Good, I'll be back tomorrow to give you more, you just rest until Ashton gives you the ok to go back to your classes"

Divus left the room and Leona laid Ruggie down, "You did fine, don't worry."

Ruggie nodded, "Thanks, I'm tired…but I want to know something…"

"What is it?"

"Why…why did you take me in all those years ago? When I was just a pup on the streets…why me?"

Leona smiled, "I guess I just thought you were worth saving and I think I was right, you're smart and strong and that's because I raised you to be."

"Thanks…I love you, Leona" Ruggie smiled.

Leona grinned and pet his hair, "Love you too kiddo."

~~A week later~~

"Leona! Come on get up! We're gonna be late!" Ruggie shouted, pulling on Leona's arm.

Leona groaned, "Ok ok, I'm up, you feel better kiddo?"

Ruggie huffed, "I feel fine, now get up before you're late for class!"

Leona smiled as he got up, petting Ruggie's hair as he passed by, "Just make sure you're fully better before we head to class today."

Ruggie smiled at him, "I'm fine big bro, I promise you."

He was suddenly hugged tightly by his dorm leader, Leona held him snugly and continued to pet his head.

"I'm happy you're better, I would hate to lose you."
