FRIENDLY SLEEPOVER | MLIST
﹙SCARAMOUCHE/WANDERER X FEM READER﹚
An: big credits to that one person(aka @/yourlocalstranger123) who gave me this idea and motivation UwU(it came out/not me)
Tw: grammatical errors (its me using grammarly/j)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Feeling lazy to get out of your bed and do your routine you decided to stay and cuddle with your kitten, not long after your phone rang and it turns out it was Hu tao! You answered the call feeling lazy to speak up.
"Hey [Name]! Wanna hangout again?" You could literally hear Yoimiya and Ayaka at the background giggling at each other, you stare down at your cat who's sleeping peacefully and god he's just so cute! You can't just leave him alone (if ykyk).
You cleared your throat making sure your voice sound raspy before answering Hu tao "I'm really sorry Hu tao but... Cough I can't hangout with you guys because im..sick." you excused and you could feel Hu tao frowned through the phone "Alright! But make sure to rest well and hope you will be better so that we can hangout again! Take care [Name]!" She ended the call and you found your self giggling while rubbing your nose to Kuni's head squealing in happiness
"Now that im 'sick' you and i can spend time together!" You hugged Kuni tightly. While you two are busy cuddling you suddenly heard someone knocked on your door, feeling the momment is ruined you're a little bit mad because the audacity of this person interrupt your momment.
You opened the door to see the construction worker(?) "We got all materials miss, we can start building the room now" You smiled at them before stepping aside and let them do the work.
Tumblr media
"meow" your kitten meowed while hiding under your pillow while the loud sound of drilling machine irritates him so much that your pillow is full of scratches but you don't mind, you can just buy new ones anyway.
"Kuni i know its loud and annoying. As much as i want to go out of house right now i cant risk being caught by Hu tao and the others especially i faked my sickness.." if ever your friends caught you red handed they will drag you more on hangouts meaning you wont get to spend time with your cat and you don't want that!
Kuni got out of the pillow before hopping off the bed and sulks on the corner (just like the 3rd pic above) while he let out small meows and you felt bad, but thank god your brain works faster when it comes to Kuni instead of your homework (this is true fight me if disagree) you walked up to Kuni before picking him up and go to the nearby 7/11 (i love 7/11) and eat ice cream and ofc to take break from the noises (not that noises.. what're u thinking?🤨or is it js me)
"[Name]?" You flinched at the voice behind you; turns out it was your long time friend Xiao! 'What a coincidence that he's here at 7/11..' you usually found him eating almond tofu alone at the roofs but its not like you're not happy to see him
"oh hello Xiao" you greeted, ignoring the fact Xiao and your cat are sending daggers at each other (imagine Xiao is also a kitten that [Name] adopted before kuni🤔🤔🤔 thoughts???) 'whos this little cat think he is?' Xiao thought and have a little chat with you and bid goodbye after.
"Now..." You turn your head to Kuni who's pawing your stomach wanting your attention all over him "you wanna go home? But its still-" "Meow." You sigh and drag Kuni along with you at your house to be greeted by a loud noise again .
Tumblr media
It has been weeks and now Kuni's room is finally done. You decided to invite your friends including Xiao, you just thought of inviting him since he's always lonely (idk id i should laugh or feel bad💀)
You heard your doorbell rang and you quickly rush to open it to see your friends having their own pajamas and some blankets for the pillow fort. "Its nice to see everyone being present well come in! Make yourself comfortable."
Well they didn't expect a grumpy cat greet them across the living room. Yoimiya and Ayaka look at each other; sweatdropping
"haha..maybe your cat doesn't want us to be here [Name].." you brush it off before saying "don't worry he's like that when he sees new faces"
Tumblr media
"LOOK AT HIM GO!" You clapped while standing proudly like a parent watching their child have baby steps while Kuni tried his best to impress you by standing for 10 seconds "YOU GUYS SEE THAT RIGHT?? ISN'T HE SOOOO CUTE!" you cooed while giving your cat some treats and the others look so done.
"i regret going here."
"hello brother? Yes i wanna go home-"
"..."
"is it possible to give myself a coffin discount?"
"now do you guys wanna play a game?" You turn your head to your friends while they awkwardly look at you "Yeah! But i think we need some snacks because playing games without snacks are boring" Yoimiya answered "Alright! I'll go to 7/11 to buy some snacks while y'all stay here and think of any game." You got up before grabbing your wallet to buy some snacks.
Kuni look at the door before transforming to human Infront of your friends (yall dw he have clothes and dont ask me how🥰)
"WH-WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" Hu tao shrieked along with the 2 other girls while Xiao have wide eyes. Scaramouche sigh before looking at them with bored eyes "WHO ARE YOU?! ARE YOU [NAME]'S CAT?? BUT HOW一"
"Yes its me [Name]s cat. Got a problem?" It took like a minute for the others to calm down and realized the situation 'does [Name] know about this?' Ayaka thought as they heard the door opened.
"Hey guys im back一"

List of the types of cats Lackadaisy characters would be if they were actual cats because I'm bored:
Rocky: Rocky is the kinda cat you first meet and you think he's just the sweetest, most innocent little thing ever, and he stares up at you with those big, adorable eyes, and then 24 hours after adopting him you realize how much of an absolute MENACE he is. He's broken everything in your home, scratched everything, and clawed the shit out of your leg for fun, but you can't bring yourself to get rid of him because 1) if you dont put up with him, who will? And 2) LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS CURLED UP ON THE WINDOW SILL!!!
Freckle: Freckle is the kinda cat that's always super shy and kinda skittish around everything. He jumps at any sudden sound, and if you make the mistake of moving furniture around, he will act like hes walked into an entirely different house. It takes forever for him to warm up to you, but when he finally does, hes the sweetest little kitty ever. But then, you get him that one toy and he goes batshit insane. I'm talking jumping of the walls, skittering across the floor, nearly crashing into things, etc. To the point you wonder if he's even the same cat.
Ivy: Ivy is the kind of cat that's always weaving in and out of your legs and follows you everywhere. You sit at the computer, shes ontop of it. You go to the bathroom, she's at the door wanting to sit in your underwear. You leave the house, you have to make sure she doesn't follow you. She doesn't want anything, she just wants to hang out. She's the kind that would take to a cat harness like a duck to water, and would be so happy to go out with you and explore.
Mitzi: You know those videos of that one cat that does fashion runway shows and gets dressed up, but genuinely doenst seem to mind/actually really likes it cause she's the center of everyone's attention? That's Mitzi. She would love being pampered and treated like a queen, and would expect no less. She doenst just tolerate being put in fancy little dresses or being brushed and groomed, she'd LIVE for it. She loves attention of any kind and will absolutely gat attached to anyone who gives it to her.
Wick: Wick is one of those cats that's just an absolute angel all of the time. He's always there to say hello when you come home. He just lays in your lap while you work. He lays on the pillow next to you in bed, just an absolute sweetheart. He'd borderline be emotional support animal material, always at your side when you need him. He's never doing anything he shouldn't (at least, not that you know of), and he never minds being pet or cuddled, even if it wasn't his idea. You also notice him seeming oddly fascinated with a certain lanky stray tom cat that keeps coming by your window.
Zib: Zibs the kind of cat that was a stray that just showed up outside your house, and you felt bad for him, so you start leaving food out for him, and he gets a bit more comfortable with you being around, but still doesnt seem all that interested in you, and then one day, he just walks into the house and flops down on the couch like he owns the place. He still likes to be outside to wander, usually to the neighbors to hang out with their fluffy brown cat, but he always comes back at night and curles up on your lap while you watch TV. He's the kind of cat that you don't adopt. He adopts you.
Viktor: Viktor is one of those cats who takes a long time to warm up to people. He just kinda stares at you from across the room, almost with a look of mistrust, and he wants nothing to do with being pet or cuddled. If you try to force it, all you do is push him away. But if you respect that and give him his space, you're eventually gonna start waking up with him laying next to you in bed, or he'll come up to you on the couch and lay on the opposite side. He doesn't want to be pet, he just wants to be next to you. That's how he shows affection.
Mordecai: Mordecai is similar to Viktor, but he just straight up does not warm up to you. He's less your pet cat and more a roommate who has slight disdain for you and doesn't pay rent. You just exist in the same place. He does his own thing, and you better not interrupt him, cause you will get hissed and/or clawed at. He doenst like toys, or Catnip or anything. The only thing he seems to like is staring out your perfectly symmetrical windows. He occasionally brings you birds, but you can't tell if it's a gift or a threat.
Nico and Serafine: These two are the cats at the shelter that can't be separated because they're a bonded pair. They're the kind you bring home, and they immediately run to the tallest part of the house and just stare at you. Every time you enter the same room as them, they just stare at you from above and don't move. You know they can get down due to the food being gone every day and the couch getting progressively more scratched up, but you never see it. And then, one day, you wake up with Niko sleeping on your face, Serafine over your neck, and the corpse of the biggest rat you've ever seen at the end of the bed. You've done it. You gained their approval... expect a lot more dead things.
ASDFGHJKJHGFDSA FAM I AM C A C K L I N G 😭😭😭 BUT IT'S LITERALLY SO TRUE THOUGH!!!
I feel threatened by Mordecai. And the Savoys...but touched, too!
Wick is literally like my one cat, but he's a mix of Wick and also Zib. God I love this!!!

title: and your eyes look like coming home (1/6)
pairing: buckingham; background steddie
rating: G
summary: in which a bad date, getting drunk at brunch and some perfume forces them to finally talk about their feelings.
Closing the door behind her, Chrissy toed off her running shoes and took out her earbuds, smiling as Evie’s meows followed her to her room. Once she set down her phone and earbuds, she finally bent down to pet Evelyn before she could start literally screaming for her attention.
“We already saw each other half an hour ago, baby,” she giggles, scratching the cat under her chin. “And I also gave you food then.”
Evie meowed once again, bumping her forehead into every part of Chrissy she could reach: her knuckles, her knees, her shins. Chrissy rolled her eyes fondly at her while shaking her head. “I am not picking you up. I am still sweaty from running and your fur will stick to my skin. Robin is spoiling you too much.”
“That’s not true.”
Startled, Chrissy lost balance and almost fell over her cat hearing the voice behind her, but she managed to regain her balance quickly thanks to years of cheerleading. With a hand over her chest, she turned towards a smiling Robin.
She was standing in the doorway, her hands playing with the strings of her too big hoodie. It would have all been normal if it weren’t for the face splitting grin she had on her face. Chrissy knew that seven am was too early for Robin to either be awake or have such a big smile on her face. Something wasn’t right. Chrissy just couldn’t understand what.
Evie meowd loudly at Chrissy for not giving her attention anymore and left her for Robin, who happily bent down to pick the cat in her arms. Evelyn immediately started purring, rubbing her cheecks on Robin’s chin.
Traitor, Chrissy thought, trying and failing not to be jealous of her own cat. God, how she wished she could cuddle up with Robin like that. She didn’t let her thoughts wander further than that as she stood up, turning to face her roommate.
“Why are you so happy this morning?”
“No reason,” Robin replied too quickly and Chrissy narrowed her eyes at her. “Maybe I’m just happy to see you?”
Chrissy felt herself flush at Robin’s words, her mind going blank in a second. She opened her mouth to say something, anything, but when no words wanted to get past her useless brain, she turned around and forced out a laugh. She knew Robin wasn’t flirting with her. She had seen too many times the lovesick gaze Robin gave to Vickie at parties, had comforted her too many times when she got her heart broken by other girls and, of recently, had listened too many times to Robin waxing poems about Nancy. She knew this meant nothing but her poor heart still skipped a beat happily.
The silence was stretching out too far for it to still be comfortable, but Chrissy still didn’t know what to say to that. God, she used to be good at flirting, she used to love it, especially when it was playful. But when it came to Robin, she was out of her depth. She couldn’t playfully flirt back, because it would be too real for her. So in the end all she could do was act awkwardly till it was too much for Robin to handle and she took over worh her rambling.
As if on cue, Robin started talking about her plans for today.
“Actually, I woke up this early because Steve called while you were out running. Which made me panic because I thought he was supposed to be running with you. I almost put down the phone and ran out after you to make sure you were safe before he told me that you were out with Lucas, instead.”
Chrissy hummed to let her know she was listening while she was looking through her clothes, trying to pick out the outfit for today. “Yeah, Steve sent me a message last night telling me that he had something to do this morning and he sent Lucas in his place. Which was really nice. Lucas is way more talkative than Steve so we talked almost the whole time. He’s really a sweet kid.”
“I’m glad you had a good time,” Robin said and Chrissy turned to smile at her. It was the worst idea she ever had because while they were talking, Robin somehow made her way towards Chrissy’s bed and laid down on it, surrounded by her pillows and comforter, with Evie happily sitting on her chest. She looked so soft, Chrissy felt almost sick with longing. She turned back to her closet, willing her tears to not make an appearance. She didn’t want to cry about not being able to touch Robin’s hair in front of her.
“Thanks. You should join us next time.” She had no idea if her voice came out normal or not, but Robin didn’t comment on it, so she must have done at least a good job at pretending she was okay.
Robin’s laugh filled the room and, despite the stab of pining it brought, it also made Chrissy smile. “Not a chance, Cunningham. We both know exercising isn’t my forte. You’d have to carry me the whole way in your arm if that ever happened. Anyway, the reason Steve called is because he invited us over at their place for brunch.”
“That’s nice,” Chrissy said, finally deciding on a baby blue dress she hasn’t worn yet this summer. She took it out of the closet and turned around to show it off to Robin.
“Oh! I love this dress. It always looks amazing on you.”
Chrissy flushed once again, but she didn’t try to hide the blush this time. Instead, she smiled at Robin and thanked her.
“But isn’t it too much for bruch with just Steve, Eddie and the others?” Robin asked, smiling down at Evie while she kept purring on her chest.
“Oh, this isn’t for brunch. I already told Steve last night that I can’t come.”
“Oh?”
Chrissy put the dress down on the back of her desk chair and turned towards the shleves with her shoes.
“Yeah, I have a date today. And I wanted to get her some flowers before we met for lunch.” The giddiness Chrissy felt all week for this date was buzzing under her skin but, with Robin so close to her, it almost felt wrong.
“Oh.”
Chrissy waited for Robin to say something more, but when the silence stretched on and on, almost turning back to awkward, Chrissy frowned. She turned to face Robin once again, only this time the other girl was looking away from her. She was looking at the ceiling and biting her lip so hard, it looked painful. While Chrissy was searching her expression trying to understand what made her look like that, Robin suddenly sat up, Evie making her disapproval heard by meowing as she jumped down. Chrissy felt like something wrong happened as she followed Robin with her eyes from the bed fowards her bedroom’s door, where she stopped once again.
“Robin?”
Robin turned slowly towards her and when their eyes finally met, she smiled at Chrissy. This one felt even more wrong than the last, but Chrissy couldn’t figure out why.
“That’s amazing, Chrissy. You’ll have to tell me all about it later, okay?” Chrissy nodded, feeling like she missed something, and Robin nodded back. “I’m going to sleep some more before I’ll have to meet the guys for brunch. Have fun on your date.”
Then she left just as soon as she appeared, leaving behind a very confused Chrissy.

Draco doesn't really make displays of affection.
With Harry, it's careless and chaste kisses, most of the time on his cheek, sometimes on his mouth (if Harry manages to deftly change angles at the last second). He will permit Harry to hold his hand sometimes. An arm around the shoulder is for when they are being photographed (or for when Draco is drunk and needs the support but doesn't wish for others to know).
So when Harry brings home a stray - it's barely a couple of weeks old, matted grey fur, eyes sticky, shrill mews, needles for claws, pink mouth and nose - Draco does not do much except frown and ask if it wouldn't be better off at a "creature healer".
Harry asks Hermione how to go about it. He buys syringes and tiny feeding bottles. He wakes up every two hours to feed it. He makes sure it's always warm. He wears his hoodie back to front and keeps it bundled up in the hood right under his nose.
Draco watches in silence. Fetches things when Harry is picking through the kitten's fur and can't get up. He doesn't intervene.
Then he catches Harry trying to bathe off the caked dirt that won't come off with a warm wet towel. Harry is clumsy and fumbles with the gentle cleaning soap. The sink is full of warm water. The kitten is emitting high-pitched "meeps" without drawing breath.
"Please go away," says Draco and gently pulls the kitten out of Harry's large hands so he can do a proper job himself.
He doesn't let the kitten out of sight after that. He keeps it in a basket with two stuffed animals - one stuffed caterpillar and one stuffed dog - and a fluffy ball when he's working on his potions. There's another basket near the sofa for when they're watching TV. Another in the kitchen when they're cooking or eating. When Draco showers, he makes Harry watch the kitten.
"He doesn't need to be watched 24/7."
"Will you just do as I ask for once in your life."
When the kitten gets bigger and stronger and starts gambolling around, gnawing at fingers and toes and tugging socks off their feet with its tiny teeth, Draco only watches. He smiles and watches as Harry rolls around and plays with it. He watches out the side of his eyes when Harry lifts it onto his lap or shoulders and pets it and kisses it and scratches its ears.
"Potter. It needs a name."
"Uh. Okay. Billy."
"No."
"Fine, you pick. As if I'll ever get it right."
"Thunder."
"He's literally the size of a large grape."
"So? He's ours and therefore deserves an appropriate name."
"Whatever."
Harry never sees Draco play with Thunder. Or pet it beyond a quick scratch on the head. Harry feeds the cat every morning because he's the early riser. Draco feeds it after dinner before he does the dishes. Draco does not permit it onto their bed. Draco does not take a dozen pictures of Thunder making biscuits in his blanket. Draco does not sneak morsels off his plate and feed them to Thunder.
But Thunder is almost unnaturally attached to Draco. He waits for Draco outside the bedroom door every morning. No matter what piece of furniture Draco occupies, Thunder is either squeezed in beside him or perched on Draco's shoulder because Draco won't often allow him onto his lap. When Draco comes home after an outing, Thunder screams and screams until Draco pets him. Just a cursory pet. Like one of the kisses he gives Harry.
Harry is suspicious. And jealous.
He plants a camera. Draco barely glances at Muggle technology anymore. He just keeps a safe distance. And so after a week, on a Saturday when Draco is out shopping for groceries, Harry rewinds and watches the tape so he can see what his fiancé and cat get up to while he's at work everyday.
Draco permitting Harry a kiss before he leaves in the morning. Draco lazily waving his wand around the room to dust the carpet and plump the cushions. Draco munching on an apple and reading the Prophet.
Draco emitting a crow of delight when Thunder ducks in through the cat flap.
Draco kneeling down and letting the cat rub its face against his.
Draco petting him with fake aggression so that he rolls over and then planting his face into Thunder's soft tummy.
Draco laughingly letting the cat gnaw on his sharp, upturned nose.
Draco placing a rubber wand next to Thunder and then standing across the room waving his own wand, shouting, "Prepare to duel, you wily beast!" and then dancing forward while wildly motioning with his wand. Thunder watching lazily, meowing once and then wandering away.
Harry watches it all with a grin of elated shock. Then Draco comes home and announces loudly that Muggle supermarkets are wonderful and displays the seven new flavours of soda he found and then demands that Harry help him put away the groceries.
Harry does so but not before cuddling Draco close and pressing a kiss to his surprised mouth. Draco permits him.

Peter Parker (any? whichever one you want) x Reader: Ask Her With a Cat?
NO SPOILERS FOR NWH! You are safe with me, children!
I'm really trying to be a better fic writer, also autocorrect is gonna drive me UP A WALL! Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Gender: fem
Description: Peter asks for your help telling a girl that he likes her. For some reason, he thinks getting her a cat would be a good idea.
Tumblr media
"Should I get her a cat?"
"Get her a cat?!" You exclaim back to Peter. "Why do you think that would be a good idea?"
He looks at his feet. "I dunno. I saw a video on YouTube of a guy-"
"Okay, listen. Not that a girl wouldn't like to get a cat out of the blue but um what if she's allergic or her apartment doesn't allow pets?"
He huffs. "I'm not dumb. She's not allergic, cats are her favorite animals, and she doesn't live in an apartment."
You study him for a moment. "Okay. I still think its weird but if that's what you wanna do-"
"Yup, let's go! Come help me find one!" He grabs your wrist and pulls you off the couch.
A short, very silent car ride later - where you spend most of the time judging him silently for knowing this girl's allergies - and you arrive at the pet shelter.
You let Peter do the talking to the shelter volunteers. Eventually, someone leads the both of you to the cat room.
Immediately, you melt inside. You love cats (okay, so maybe you were using Peter just as an excuse to get to go to the shelter, just a little bit).
"How do I know . . ." Peter looks so lost gazing around the room.
"Well she'd probably like one that likes to cuddle." To demonstrate, you sit on the ground. A second later, you have a very fluffy white cat curled up on your lap. "Like this little guy," you pet him gently. "Just go around and see which ones come up to you."
"O-okay."
"Are you scared of cats?" You suddenly realize.
"Maybe like, a little. They have really big claws!"
You laugh. "Spiderman is afraid of cats!"
Peter gives you an offended look. "No, I mean, I just don't want to hurt them. Like, I could protect myself but I don't think that it would end very well."
"Mhm," you smile and carefully remove the white cat from your lap. You start to wander around.
Many cats mew at you and reach their paws through their cages. You pet each of them.
Then, your eyes catch on a tiny black kitten, alone in its own cage. You come up to it. You read the tag. She doesn't have a name, she was just brought in. She's very skittish.
You look at her. She has a little white line on her nose and huge green eyes. You slowly offer her your hand to sniff. She cautiously approaches you and judges you from a safe distance.
Eventually, she moves closer to you. "Hello," you whisper to her. "It's okay, hi cutie."
She lets you pet her head. You do so gently with as little pressure as possible, not wanting to scare her away.
"Hey, what about this one?" Peter says from nearby. The kitten jumps backward and you feel a twinge of annoyance in your heart.
"Which one?"
Peter is staring at a rather cubby gray little guy. He looks temperamental with his huge pupils and rigid stance.
"He's gonna scratch you if you stand there much longer."
As if to agree with me, the cat lets out a loud hiss.
"Geez, okay." Peter takes two very wide steps backward. "What you looking at over here?"
"I was looking at this one, till you scared her." You mutter.
"Sorry." Peter says. "Maybe I'll just come back another day and I'll ask her what kind of cat she likes most."
You agree, not taking your eyes off the little fluff ball that is the black kitten. Peter starts to walk away but you find it extremely difficult to separate yourself from the tiny cat.
You only move when Peter drags you out by the arm.
~The Next Day~
Your doorbell rings. You stand up to answer it, confused. No one ever comes to your house and you don't have any packages coming.
Peter stands in front of your door holding a large box.
You open the door. "Wow, hi?"
"Hi!" He replies cheerfully. "I brought you something."
"Okay, go put it in the living room. Did you ask that girl what her favorite kind of cat is?"
"What?" He gives you a look for a second. "Oh! Yeah, I did. I got the cat this morning."
"Good, can I see a picture?"
"A picture. I didn't- I didn't take a picture." He suddenly sounds very defensive.
"Oookay then. What's in the giant box?"
"Open it." He gestures you forward. You unfold the flaps and reveal . . . the little black kitten you had been looking at yesterday.
"Are you crazy?!" You smack his arm. "You put a cat in a box with no holes! What if she suffoca- wait."

I'm OBSESSED with your writing and your stories, I'm so glad I found your blog, now I always have something new to read!! ❤️❤️❤️
I remember watching you blitz through the blog, leaving likes on a lot of the stories. It really made my day! Now, who knows how many months late, I bring you some silly Witchers and their mutagens.
Kaer Morhen’s Open Door Policy
When Jaskier was invited to Kaer Morhen, he’d thought the open door policy that Geralt mentioned meant that anyone was welcome to stay for the winter. It warmed his heart that the Wolves were so welcoming and generous with their winter lodgings. What Jaskier didn’t anticipate was that said open door policy was a literal thing. He arrived in Kaer Morhen with Geralt, they were stomping snow off their boots when someone rounded the corner at some speed. Slowing down, the man made a beeline for them.
“Lambert,” Geralt greeted before he was veritably bowled over in a hug. If Jaskier squinted, he could have sworn Geralt was given a long sniff and maybe even a lick, perhaps over the lips. But surely he must have seen wrong because Jaskier himself wasn’t given such a greeting.
Two more figures appeared and introductions were made to Eskel and Vesemir. It was quite nice really, even if a lonely winter with just the five of them. However, if gave Jaskier a chance to get used to the ways of the keep. Mostly, it was learning to leave doors open a crack and how to keep the hinges well oiled at all times. If he didn’t, it was guaranteed someone would turn up.
At first Jaskier had thought it was because he wasn’t trusted, not an accepted member of the pack. But that thought was quickly thrown out the window, especially when he was dragged into the cuddle piles in front of fires. Those were rather nice, if a little too warm and sweaty for his liking. Yet, every single time he forgot about keeping a door open, whenever it snicked shut behind him or clicked open as he stepped through, within ten seconds one of the other residents appeared. Usually it was Lambert, rounding the corner at quite a pace even as he tried to make it look like he hadn’t dropped everything and run. It was rather offensive in a way, at least that was what Jaskier thought until he was sat quietly in the library, Lambert browsing for something when his head snapped up all of a sudden and he was off at full pelt. That wasn’t the first time Jaskier saw him running. On more than one occasion Lambert almost bowled him over in corridors as he rushed towards whatever he had heard.
“Doors,” Geralt had explained quietly one night. “If we hear a door open or close, there’s this overwhelming urge to go see who it is, what had happened.”
Now that Jaskier knew, he paid more attention. Any door had Lambert running. Much more sedately, Eskel would usually follow, lumbering towards the source of the noise and trying desperately to look like he wasn’t doing exactly like Lambert. However, he had a weakness, as Jaskier discovered. The cupboard doors in the kitchen. If Jaskier, or anyone else for that matter, happened to go and look in one, Eskel was bound to bumble into the kitchen within a short space of time, looking bashfully hopeful. It was cute, Jaskier even started indulging and giving Eskel snacks because the way he softened and smiled at the offering was far too endearing.
“You’re only encouraging him,” Vesemir grumbled as he watched Jaskier hand Eskel half a slice of honey coated bread. Rather than argue, Jaskier gave Vesemir the other half, not commenting on how the old Wolf appeared for seemingly no reason in the kitchen. The treat certainly silenced him.
For a first winter, it was a good one. Jaskier was satisfied when he left that he was getting the hang of the odd open doors policy. It was the next winter that proved to test his patience. As well as the Wolves, there was a Cat there too. Haughty and aloof, Aiden spent most of his time perched up high somewhere. He slowly warmed up to Jaskier though, cautious at first. However, Aiden seemed to be rather fond of the open door policy, only ever opening or closing a door when he wanted attention. And that was rather frequently. More than once a day Lambert would go running because Aiden slammed a door somewhere, wanting to play.
It was all very well until Jaskier had to use the privy. That was one door that the Wolves learned not to run to. Even though Lambert still twitched, head swivelling it its direction before grumbling and returning to what he was doing. Jaskier was trying to just have a peaceful moment to relieve himself, a considerate two stalls down from an occupied booth when he heard someone else come in.
“Lamb?” Aiden’s voice drifted through the air, a little plaintive and lost.
“What?” Not all that unusual for Lambert to sound irritated.
“What are you doing?”
Jaskier’s eyebrows shot up at the question. What could Lambert be doing in the privy other than the obvious one of four things?
“I’m taking a shit.” Well, that answered which of the four it was but Jaskier could heard the sounds of a body leaning heavily against the door.
“Oh.” Aiden sounded almost disappointed. “I thought I heard some rustling like a snack being opened.”
“I promise I’m not fucking eating while taking a shit. Who eats in here anyway?” Grumbling, Lambert scoffed. “Don’t tell me, I bet it’s Geralt.”
Jaskier couldn’t hold his tongue anymore. “Geralt most certainly does not eat in the privy.”
The sound of a body moving and Jaskier knew Aiden was stood outside the door to his cubicle. “Jaskier. You’re in there.”
“No I’m not.”
For a moment there was confused silence before Lambert growled. “I swear Aiden, if you don’t leave us alone-” his threat was lost as Aiden moved back to Lambert’s door and there was an odd scratching sound. “No. Aiden. Don’t you dare. You can’t sit on my lap here! Not again. We almost broke it last time. Get out. Get out!”
The sound of a door being kicked shut and a huff from Aiden gave Jaskier a good idea of what had jut happened and he was scared to go out. However, not a minute later another voice joined the fray.
“What happened?” Eskel asked.
Jaskier buried his face in his hands in despair. So much for a peaceful piss.
The whole door thing was becoming quite ridiculous. Especially with Aiden slamming them to get Lambert’s attention. And then being offended whenever he encountered a closed door. Those were all gently knocked on and a head poked through if there was no answer. It meant nothing was private and Vesemir had to use a broom to get Aiden off the top of his wardrobe one evening when the Cat had gone missing all afternoon. He seemed to have no respect or care for anything, not when it came to prime napping spots.
It got to the stage that the common areas had their doors removed and Vesemir started hanging heavy furs in their place. Which did actually make the rooms warmer and there was no more needless running around. Though Eskel still bumbled into the kitchen in the hopes of a shared snack. Jaskier had rapidly cottoned on to the fact Vesemir fought such an urge in a novel and simple way. He was almost always either in the kitchen or within sight of it. So he could see if there was an opportunity for a snack without having to move. The old Wolf was clever, Jaskier had to give him that.
Some days, Jaskier did crave a bit of silence and solitude. Those were rare and far between days but they did happen. When they came, he took to wandering through the crumbling corridors of Kaer Morhen, trying to imagine what it had been like in its glory days. Quite amazing, he should think. So lost was he in his musings, Jaskier didn’t notice until too late that the floor wasn’t solid below his feet. It gave way and he fell with a yelp, landing awkwardly on his ankle. The pain was quite blinding, rendering him into a whimpering mess, throat tight and unable to call for help. Even when he managed to gather himself up, it didn’t seem to help. His voice just didn’t carry and the Wolves probably couldn’t hear him. It was cold, dark and Jaskier was in pain which made it difficult to think. There was a door not far from him and, in a moment of sheer desperation, he pulled himself towards it on shaking arms. Near enough, he reached for it and, with all his might, slammed it shut. It bounced open from the force and echoed through the room. Mustering up a little more energy, Jaskier shoved it again and the crack of door hitting frame made him wince. That would have to do. Jaskier managed to lie down, pillowing his head on his arms, shivering.
His hopes were answered when he heard the steady stomp of running feet skidding to a halt.
“The fuck?” There was the sound of a deep inhale as the area was scented. “Where you got to bard?”
“Down here,” Jaskier called back and squinted towards the hole he had fallen through. “My ankle.”
“Why would you do that? Wait. Never mind.” Lambert turned away and, a hand cupped against his cheek and lips he let out what could only be called a howl before his attention was back on Jaskier. “What did we tell you about wandering off?”
More feet, more people and Jaskier teared up in relief. He watched as Aiden hopped down the hole and took stock of the damage. A soft cry of pain left Jaskier as he was picked up and his ankle was jostled. In a few, seemingly easy, jumps, Aiden was passing Jaskier over to Geralt who cradled him against his chest. There was a still body-warm jacket draped over Jaskier and he burrowed into it, finding Eskel’s scent mixing with Geralt a comfort.
In the infirmary he was patched up, fussed over and, in the end, bundled into a pile in front of a fire where the others snuggled protectively up against him. By the next morning all the doors were back in place and Vesemir ground his teeth when Aiden slammed the kitchen one for Lambert’s attention.

Your Friend, My Friend, Our Friend
ao3 link! listen, I started this at 6am, but I fell asleep before finishing it. I'm not proud of it, it's kind of messy, but please enjoy and tell me what you think. as always sorry for any grammatical errors!
Request: Can you do a platonic reader x the Dimitrescu daughters? Where reader is busy talking to the other maids and the three of them are jealous they might steal away their friend? - I hope I delivered on this request, and apologies if I didn't, I did my best!
***
“This has to be the best thing I’ve tasted, Ellie.” You replied as you ate a piece of pie. The way the flavours of it melted in your mouth made your eyes close as you let out a small moan.
Ellie was blushing at your compliment. “Oh, really? Do you think the Lady and her daughters will like the one I’ve prepared for them?” She asked.
You nodded your head. “Definitely. And if they don’t then more pie for me.” You pushed the plate into the direction of another maid. “You have to taste it, Rebecca. I don’t think my opinion alone will convince her of what I said.” You playfully nudged Ellie.
The three of you continued to converse until one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters walked in. “Y/N? What are you doing in here with… them?” Daniela asked as she eyed the maids. “I thought you’d be in the library or Mother’s study.”
“I just came down here to see what Ellie and Rebecca were preparing for dinner.” You replied. “I’m a mere distraction to them, but I like being in the kitchen, Dani.” Your stomach growled at that comment causing the two maids to laugh.
Rebecca patted your belly. “We should get some food in there since you like being in the kitchen so much.” She rolled her eyes at bit with her comment.
Daniela huffed. “You said we’d work out in the garden today.” A small scowl had appeared on her face.
You smiled at her. “And we will, but not right now. I’ll come and find you later, okay? Promise.” You ran your hand down her, but Daniela just brushed you off before storming out causing you to frown.
“Is she okay?” Ellie asked. You sighed and shrugged your shoulders. “If it’s any consolation, we love it when you come down to the kitchen. It’s nice to be around someone who knows the Lady and her daughters, someone who’s not constantly paranoid about being taken to the cellar and being turned into wine.”
You nodded your head. “I understand. I do appreciate that.” You pinched the bridge of your nose. “I’m just, I’m worried about Daniela. I should go talk to her.” You said.
“You definitely should but eat first. I made you a sandwich and I won’t let my hard work go to waste, Y/N.” Rebecca said, setting the sandwich down in front of you.
You smiled at her. You let Ellie and Rebecca continue their dinner preparation as you ate. “I will see the both of you later tonight for game night, yeah?” The two nodded at you before you all shared your goodbyes and you set off.
“Bela, you should’ve seen how close they were getting with them. Talking and laughing. One of them even patted their stomach when it did that weird growling thing.” You overheard Daniela say to her sister.
“Y/N has been hanging around with the maids a lot as of late.” Cassandra said. “You don’t think we did something wrong, do you?”
Bela was quick to shake her head. “No, no, they’re just making new friends.” Bela said, try to give them some reassurance.
“Yeah, to replace us.” Daniela said. “They never hang out with us anymore. Any time we see them they’re either with those two maids in the kitchen or with Mother.”
Your heart broke a bit hearing their conversation. Bela was right, you were just trying to make friends, but you weren’t trying to replace them as Daniela had suggested. You would’ve interrupted their conversation, but you could hear Alcina’s heels coming from down the hall. You moved away from the room where her daughters were and went to go catch up to her.
“Ali, wait up!” You called out to her making her stop and turn around to you. “Hi.” You let out as you panted slightly.
Alcina smiled at you. “Hello, little one. What are you doing wandering the halls at this time? I thought you’d be enjoying a nice nap, yes?” Alcina asked.
You flushed. “How do you know about my afternoon naps?” You asked as the two of you walked. Your question made Alcina chuckle. “Ali, how do you know?” You whined at her a bit.
“Cassandra informed me, if you must truly know.” Alcina replied. “It was in passing. Something about a maid reading to you while you dosed off, mentioned that it happens almost every day.”
“Oh.” You scratched the back of your head. “She didn’t mention how she found us, did she?” You asked.
Alcina hummed. “It’s quite alright if you cuddle with your friends, dear.” Alcina said. You let out a small breath at her approval. “Don’t worry, draga mea, I don’t get jealous easy. Besides, I’m glad that you’re making friends with the staff.”
“I… thank you, Ali.” You said when she patted your head affectionately. “Speaking of jealous, I don’t think your daughters are too keen on me being friends with Ellie and Rebecca.”
Alcina raised her eyebrow as she pushed open the door to her study. “Oh? Do share why, darling.” She said as she sat down in her chair.
You waited for her to pick you up and set you down on the desk. “I overheard them talking before I found you.” You explained a bit. “They think I’m trying to replace them or at least Daniela does.”
“She does?” Your Lady asked. You nodded your head. “Well, then I suppose you’ll have to find a way to fix that.” She shuffled some papers around on her desk before putting her pen to use.
You pouted, mostly at not having her undivided attention. “But how do I do that?” You asked, a small whine escaping past your lips.
“Invite them to your little game night.” You let out a small gasp at her words. “Darling, you should know by now that nothing goes unheard of by me in this castle.” You could tell she found your reaction amusing and you pouted more.
You mulled her idea over while she worked, watching as her pen moved across her paper. “Would they like game night?” You asked. “They won’t tr-“
“I’ll talk to them, they’ll be on their best behaviours around your friends. And if they aren’t, do let me know, darling.” Alcina flashed you a small smile before going back to their work. You watched her work in silence again before you tapped her shoulder. “Yes, little one?”
You flushed at the nickname, ducking your head from her gaze. “Um, would you… like to join?” You asked.
Alcina placed her hand near your thigh as she leaned forward. “The offer is appreciated, Y/N, but I am very, very busy right now. I’ve really no time for such trivial distraction, but you enjoy yourself and tell me all about it when you return to me.” Alcina replied before she backed away and continued to write.
Your breathing had quickened a bit at how close she’d just been to you. “Next time then?” You tried as a reply.
“Of course, next time.” Alcina replied absentmindedly. “As much as I appreciate your company, I need you to leave. I have a phone call with Mother Miranda to make and I don’t believe it will be a pleasant one, my dear.”
You nodded your head and Alcina helped you off her desk. “I’ll see you later, Ali.” You said before exiting the room, shutting the door behind you.
Your game night with Ellie and Rebecca was a few hours away so you took that time to plan an extra special one for the Lady’s daughters to enjoy. When you’d gone over the details with Ellie and Rebecca, they agreed to make some snacks that the three might like. You went to find Daniela shortly after.
“Hey Dani, ready to go garden?” You asked as you found her in the library.
Daniela looked up from her book before glancing out the window. “It’s too dark out now and it’s probably raining.” She replied before focusing on her book again.
“Oh. Well did your Mother talk to you?” You asked.
“About game night?” You nodded your head. “Yeah. Not interested, but thanks for the offer.”
You let out a small sigh. “It was actually your Mother’s idea, she thought it might help bond more, grow my friendship with the three of you. But I’d really like it if you came, Dani.” You left the library before she had the chance to reply.
You walked around aimlessly, thinking about going back to Alcina’s study, but apparently she was still on the phone. Cassandra and Bela were avoiding you like the plague, dispersing into swarms whenever the three of you got near each other. After a while, it was dinner time. It was a quiet dinner, no doubt due to the tension between you and the Lady’s daughters.
Alcina cleared her throat. “Girls, you will be attending Y/N’s game night. You may not want to go, but it’ll do you some good to learn how to interact with our staff, get to know them better. They can’t all be used for your little cat and mouse games.”
Daniela whined. “But Mot-“
“I won’t hear your excuses, Daniela, darling. Y/N has planned a wonderful night just for the three of you and their friends and it would be rude of you not to go.” Alcina replied, taking a sip of her wine.
Daniela frowned and crossed her arms. “They’re just going to flaunt their new friends in our faces. Making sure we get a good look at who our replacements are. They never spend time with us so why would we go and spend time with them?” Daniela asked.
“Dani, I’m no-“ Cassandra cut you off.
“Don’t push her, Y/N. You may have had good intentions with this offer, but it seems like you’re only doing it to get back in our good graces. But I’m afraid it’s not working.” Cassandra said.
You looked over at Alcina who was busy nursing her wine, trying to keep herself calm. You nodded your head at Cassandra. “I’m sorry. I’d like to be excused if I may.” You said before standing from the table and rushing out of the room.
Alcina snapped her fingers. “You two are insufferable.” She practically growled out. “The fact that you think Y/N would ever want to replace you is ridiculous. Just because they have made more friends does not mean that they’re giving you the boot.” Alcina explained.
Bela spoke up this time. “I tried to tell that, Mother. They wouldn’t listen to me.” Bela said. “But you have to admit, that the timing of such an offer is suspicious.”
“The suggestion was mine, dear Bela.” Alcina snapped. “Now, it would do you all some good to find Y/N and apologise or so help me, Mother Miranda, you will regret not doing so.” Alcina threatened before she got up from the table.
The three rose from the table in a chorus of “Yes, Mother” before setting off to find you. They weren’t surprised to find you in a room with Ellie and Rebecca, but it did cause another frown to grace Daniela’s face.
You sniffled when you looked up at them when Bela cleared her throat. “What do you want?” You asked.
“You really shouldn’t be here right now.” Ellie said.
“Ellie’s right, you’ve put Y/N through enough for today.” Rebecca added.
You shook our head. “No, it’s… it’s fine. Say what you have to say.” You said.
Cassandra spoke first. “Mother told us that we should apologise.”
“Yes, she did. So we’re here to apologies for our behaviour. Right, Daniela?” Bela nudged her sister.
Daniela hissed at her before turning her attention to you. “Mother did send us off to apologise to you.” Daniela said. “So I’m sorry for saying that you were trying to replace us. I hope you can forgive me, Y/N.”
You stood up, walked over to Daniela and hugged her, to her surprise. “Of course I forgive you.” You whispered into her ear. Your reply made Daniela wrap her arms around you and return the hug. “I should apologise too.” You said as the hug ended. “I made you all feel like I was choosing Ellie and Rebecca over you three and I’m sorry. I never intended for you to feel like I was trying to replace any of you.”
Bela smiled at you. “You’re forgiven, Y/N. In all honesty, I’m glad you’re making more friends.”
Cassandra nodded in agreement. “Now that that’s settled, Mother mentioned game night and I’m told there are snacks.”
You laughed at her. “Yes, we have snacks and games. Please join us before I send Ellie and Rebecca off to bed.” You replied.
“Hey! On game nights, there’s no curfew.” Ellie said, pushing your shoulder slightly when you sat next to her.
The six of you played a multitude of games. And you found out that Daniela doesn’t like it when someone beats her in something, especially her sisters and she claims that they cheat to beat her. You all finally called it a night when Rebecca let out a small yawn.
“As much as this been, I think it’s time for us to call it a night.” Rebecca said. “Thank you for joining us tonight, it was fun playing with the three of you.” She tossed a smile toward the Lady’s daughters.
The three girls escorted you to their Mother’s room after you all said goodbye to Ellie and Rebecca.
“Thank you for having us tonight, Y/N.” Daniela said. “Your friends seem really nice and as Rebecca said, it was fun playing with you all tonight.”
“Group hug?” The four of you hugged each other, giggling when Daniela caused you all to fall on the floor.
“And what, pray tell, is going on here?” Alcina asked, a small smile on her face.
“Group hug.” The four of you said in unison. You and Alcina bid the girls good night before she guided you into the room.
“So how was game night, dear?” Alcina asked as the two of you settled into bed.
You snuggled into her side before letting out a sigh. “It was very fun, thank you for suggesting it, Ali.”
Alcina hummed “You’re welcome, draga mea. Now rest, you’ve had such a long day.” Alcina said before pressing a kiss to your forehead and drifting off to sleep next to you.

Cat Interruptions
Shinsou x fem. Reader
Warnings: Kissing, NSFW, fluff, modern au, no quirks, drinking black coffee, kind of shy reader
Word Count: 1.5K
Tumblr media
Shinsou loves cats, no one can deny that. He cares for his two adult cats each day, feeds them, gives them water, weekly checkups, and cuddles with them whenever he has free time. He starts off every afternoon getting ready for the day, feeding his cats, and watching whatever he found on his for you page. This was more than not his daily routine, besides work and kaminari dragging him to the bar now and again.
He works at a seven-eleven as a cashier, working from 3pm to 11pm, sometimes even later when his co-worker after him doesn’t come in for the night shift. His manager fired the guy and hired someone else, she’s a small elderly lady, but she gets to her shift on time, so Shinsou never complained when she stopped him for a small chat.
He never really had any reason to deter from this daily regime. That was, until about a week ago his whole routine went out the window. As of lately he's been fluctuating his schedule around to stop by a certain cafe.
That’s where Shinsou, Hitoshi met a nice girl, around the same age as him at a local cafe. She’s a bit shy, always looking down or glancing away everytime he stared in her direction. Her face always looked flushed, probably from all the hot steam that gets blasted in her face. Her name tag read, (L/n),(Y/n), a pretty name for a pretty face he thought. They chatted every time he came in there, bonding over coffee taste and their anti-social behavior.
He ordered a black coffee with a cat cookie, she made a side comment that she loved black coffee. Then, they both laughed that each of their friends hate the taste of regular coffee.
Shinsou found himself dropping in at that cafe every week or so, just to see her. Waking up early to come drop by the cafe or blowing off trips to the bar to hang out with her after work. He slowly started to gain confidence with each passing minute. He finally acquired enough courage to ask her out on a date and from then on you both have been inseparable. You wouldn’t catch Shinsou without (L/n) next to him.
Like right now, he had his tongue down down your throat, the weight of his body pressed against your front. Grinding against your pelvic, and smirking once you began to do the same. His hard on rubbed up against your clothed area, causing a soft mew to come from you. He pulled away, bringing a trail of saliva with him. He kissed your cheek and worked his way down to your neck. Shinsou’s big hand slid up your shirt, tugging at your bra fumbling with the strap. An annoyed grunt hummed against your neck, and you humored him for a bit before undoing the “tricky” clasps.
“I could’ve done that, ya know.” He remarked. His big hands palmed at your chest, squeezing the plump flesh and teasing your hardened nipples. Your hands worked up his jacket feeling at his muscles, a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. He pulled his jacket and shirt off, aimlessly tossing it behind him. “Like what you see, kitty.”
“Mhm.” She averted her eyes, a look of embarrassment plastered on her features.
Clothes quickly were skewed across the room, Shinsou locked lips with you again. His hand reached out to his bedside drawer trying to pull out his condom stash. Only his hand touched something besides the sleek feel of the box. It was soft and for a moment thought he was touching one of the pillows he received from Mina, but this one was really warm. Tearing his mouth off yours he stared at the cat laying underneath his hand. He forgot that Mochi was still in his room as he remembered that she followed them down the hallway. Soft purring hummed against his palm and as he redirected his hand to his drawer, the cat followed forth and  jumped down into the now open drawer.
Goddammit, Mochi! Not now, I’m trying to get laid.
“What’s wrong, Shinsou?” You asked.
“Nothing,” He uttered, his hand yanked out the rubber presenting it to her. “Just looking for protection.” Tearing the plastic off, Shinsou rolled the rubber down his length, giving it a few practice tugs. Smirking Shinsou went back to making out with you, his hand traveled south down your body. Thick fingers played with your sensitive button for a while, before concentrating on preparing your tight hole.
His other hand caressed your face,“You ready?” Receiving an assured nod, Shinsou moved in between your thighs. Massaging his shaft between your slick folds. Grabbing hold of his length he slowly maneuvered his shaft to your hole. The head slipped in and that alone sent shivers up his spine. Sinking all the way to the hilt he looked up to you for any signs of discomfort. Gripping your knees he leaned down to kiss your heated cheeks, whispering sweet nothings into your ear. As he waited for you to give ‘the all go ahead’, Shinsou was trying his best not to nut just yet. You squeezed his dick in a vice grip making it even harder to compose himself.
Grinding your pelvic and hips to his you wrapped your arms around his chest. “Y-you can continue.”
With that he began his slow pace, looking down at your face to see your face scrunch up in euphoria. Gradually, his pace got a little faster, moving your left leg further towards your chest.
“F-faster.”
“You sure.” He groaned out. You gave a firm nod, Shinsou nodded back in response. Fingers latched around the mound of flesh on the back part of your thigh, lifting them up he placed the back of your knees on his shoulders. Re-positioning his body he situated both his thighs on either side of your hips and slammed his cock back in. A muffled yelp came from you, smirking he pulled out half way before ramming his dick in your plum cunt. Grinning Shinsou’s pace sped up to an abnormal rate, tears fled down your face as he bottomed you out.
His concentration was soon was hindered by something furry rubbing up against his foot steadily trailing up his calf. A flash of silver darted across his peripheral, easing her way between the two gently purring on top of your chest.
“Mochi.” His voice was stern, but the cat leisurely casted her gaze down at you pawing at your nose. “Mochi, no.” Releasing your legs he picked the cat off your chest and softly placed her off the bed. Before he could even go back to having sex with you Mochi jumped back on the bed, placing herself halfway on your boob. Pawing at the fleshy mound before being kicked off the bed again.
Shinsou decided to put her outside the room, “She really loves her papa.”
Maybe too much. He noted.
Climbing back onto the bed he loomed over your frame, “Let’s continue where we left off, Kitty-cat.” Leaning over her he caught her lips and began to make up for the little distraction. He didn’t get far as the sounds of excessive mewling began to get louder with each flying second. A very loud yowl followed by growling insured.
“We can do this another time or at my place next time.”
Mochi. Goddamnit. Why now?
“Yeah, sorry.” A defeated sigh escaped past his lips. His mind wandered off to past experiences with lovers, some hated his cats after about a week into the relationship or agreeing to a second date after learning about his cats. A light peck on his cheek snapped him out of his trance, gazing down at you his face grew bright red and before he could give another apology you intruded on his rant.
“To be honest I’m just glad I got to spend this time with you. You make me very happy, Shinsou.” A warm smile grace your features, your swollen lips pecked his lips. “Even if our time was intruded by a very clingy kitty.” A giggle slipped out, causing Shinsou to laugh in response.
“I’m glad I got to spend this time with you, too.” Crawling under the cover he pulled you in with him, the warmth of your body gave some realism to the situation. “Uh, do you want to get washed up before bed or I could just get you a washcloth.”
Nodding you asked to use his washroom, he motioned with his hand that his restroom was down the hall, the middle door. He watched as you sauntered out the room, letting in Mochi as you went. The cat jumped into Shinsou’s lap, stretching and kneading his thigh as he stared up at her master.
“You may be a cock block, Mochi and I can’t really blame you for that since you’re a cat, but thank you. I’m pretty sure you just brung me and (L/n)-chan a bit closer.” The silver haired cat yawned as she curled up in her master’s lap.
Shinsou sat back against his headboard, petting and scratching his cat's head. His mind is roaming to various abstractions, slowly dozing off absentmindedly. . .
Shit! I’m still wearing the condom!

Warning: uhhh cuteness overload as a warning?
Summary: The Doctor is drawn to how soft and fluffy your hair is. All she wants to do is touch it, and maybe make hers as fluffy as yours is
A/N: Who knew putting a fic on Tumblr was so confusing asdfghjkl Thank you Jenny and Elle for helping me with this ily both SO much
Tumblr media
The Doctor couldn't figure it out. There was just something about you. Every time you walked into a room, you'd draw her attention from whatever it was that she was doing prior, which is something that rarely happens. And then one day, it just clicked.
You had come out of the shower one day; the scent of your favourite shampoo was an exact giveaway. You were happy to be able to wash off the sweat and dirt that had clung to you for the last few adventures. Your hair was freshly blow-dried, and it looked soft. Really soft. There had been times where you would be talking with her, and she'd have to fight every urge to just run her hand through it. She wanted to know what it felt like, how soft it'd be.
There have been small instances where she had gotten to touch your hair. Moments like when you would run past, and she would feel the feather-light touch. Or when you'd come up and hug her, and all she could smell, and feel was you. Warmth surrounding her, your hair that she deemed softer than anything in the Universe would be pressed against her cheek. It took every ounce of willpower for her never to let you go and bury her face into your hair. Just one look at you melted all her stress away.
You weren't oblivious to the Doctor's distractions either. Every time you two talked, you could see her focus elsewhere. Her hands would clench by her sides like she was trying to stop herself from reaching out. It wasn’t terribly hard to figure out what was distracting the Doctor so much, she was never all that subtle. You saw the way her eyes would follow you around the room. More like she was looking at something specifically on your head. Your assumption was right one day when you bounded excitedly over to the Doctor in the console room to ask about the newest adventure you were about to take, and she remained focused on your tresses.
One night, the Doctor returned to the console room with a cup of tea in hand to see you sitting by the open front doors with your legs swinging out and a blanket wrapped around your shoulders. The Galaxy looked beautiful with you sitting in front of it, with the pinks, purples, and blues lighting your face. It took the Doctor’s breath away. Walking closer the Doctor noticed that your appearance was a little disheveled. Clothing ruffled out of place and hair sticking up at odd angles, but it wasn’t as if you had a nightmare, or something disturbed you during your sleep. It seemed more like you just rolled out of bed and came here.
She called your name softly, now standing behind you. You tilted your head up towards the voice.
“Hello Doctor,” you greeted with a smile.
“What are you doing awake?” She asked. The Doctor had settled herself beside you, her tea forgotten behind her.
“I don’t know,” you replied, sliding over to make more room in the doorway. “I just woke up and couldn’t fall back asleep, so I came here,” You turned your gaze back to outside the Tardis. “It’s very beautiful.”
The Doctor nodded. “Yeah, it is. It’s probably one of my favourite Galaxies to just drift in, other than the Milky Way of course. The clashing colours are just breathtaking.”
You nodded in agreement. The Doctor started to ramble about the stars in a speech and speed that flew over your head faster than any breeze, but you didn’t mind. She would start talking animatedly, moving her hands as she would point to different areas in space.
You thought it was cute. You could’ve listened to her talk for hours, but your earlier exhaustion crept up on you and you felt your eyes closing, falling asleep to the sound of the Doctors voice.
The Doctor noticed your head dropping a bit before you’d snap back up, your eyes threatening to shut again. Your shoulders had been slouching down and she was worried you were going to end up rolling out of the Tardis.
“You know,” she started, her voice jerking you awake to give her your full attention. “If you’re tired you should go back to bed.”
You shook her head stubbornly, but the Doctor could see how tired you were getting. She debated just carrying you to your bed as you probably wouldn’t be able to put up a very big fight or she could wait until you fell asleep before carrying you. She opted for the latter; she was quite enjoying looking at the Galaxy with you right now. She felt her hearts stop a moment later when your weight suddenly slumped against her side, your head on her shoulder.
“Doctor,” you mumbled sleepily. “Can I lay on your lap?”
Her breath hitched in her throat, her two hearts beating so fast she feared that you would be able to hear them from your place against her side. How could she deny your gentle request though? So, she nodded with soft spoken “yes”. Your eyes brightened hearing her reply.
You slid away from the Doctor to make room so you could lay down comfortably. The Doctor, however, immediately missed your warmth and had to stop herself from making a sound of protest. The warmth returned when you placed your head on her thigh, your blanket rested on top of your body. You sighed contentedly.
“Comfy?” she asked, a teasing tone in her voice.
You only replied by cuddling further into the Doctor’s warmth, pulling the blanket up so it rested just under your chin.
Not wanting to take your hands out of your blanket burrito, you tried to blow your hair out of your face The Doctor looked down in amusement at your struggle. Her hand eventually found its way to your face, gently brushing the piece of hair from your eyes behind your ear. Her eyes widened at the feel of your hair.
“It’s so soft,” she spoke softly to herself out loud unaware you were still partially awake as she brushed her hand through your hair again.
You hummed and your body fully relaxed at the Doctor’s fingers raking through your locks. “Shampoo, conditioner, and blow dry equals fluffy and soft.”
The Doctor chuckled as she continued mindlessly playing with your hair. Her nails would lightly scratch against your scalp, causing you to sigh, and then switch to brushing your hair from the base of your skull to the end. She would hit the occasional knot, but you didn’t shift at her gentle pulling and smoothing it out. Occasionally, the Doctor would stop her actions thinking that you were fast asleep with how quiet and still you were, but you proved her wrong when your face would scrunch up with a disappointed groan.
“No,” you whined.
Your glare was not all that deadly or threatening in any way. In fact, it was more adorable than anything in the Doctor’s mind. Your eyes were dazed and unfocused, and you couldn’t hold your glare together very well. It was more of a grumpy squint than anything.
The Doctor merely laughed and caved in. “Okay, okay.”
You turned your head back to its place and sighed happily when you felt her hand return. The Doctor was absolutely convinced in her mind that if you were a cat, you would be purring.
The Doctor didn’t know how long you two stayed there in the doorway. Her one leg swung outside the box while her other made sure that you didn’t accidently roll out of the Tardis, that would certainly be a rude awakening.
The Time Lord was lost in her thoughts as she ran her fingers over your scalp the action calming for both you and her, barely paying attention to the soft sigh you let out. And any tension left in your body vanished, your entire weight settled against the Doctors leg. She thought of how glad she was to have you aboard the Tardis, how you always seem to know what she was feeling and how to make her feel better again. She didn’t know what would’ve happened if she didn’t have you as a companion.
She was brought back into her thoughts when she felt your breath against her leg, you’re breathing deep and steady telling her that you had officially fallen asleep. She gently and slowly raised your head to not wake you and picked you up with one arm holding your shoulders, cradling you to her chest with your head tucked into her neck, and her other arm was underneath your knees. After confirming that you had not stirred, she carried you down the halls to your room. The Tardis was kind enough to move your room closer, so the Doctor didn’t have to go wandering the halls finding your room.
“Can you open the door for me, girl?” the Doctor said quietly, trying in everyway possible to make sure you stayed sleeping.
The Doctor smiled when the door opened and walked inside. She placed you down on your bed and smiled at the small whine you let out when she released her hold on you. The Doctor knelt by your bed and brushed your hair out of you face. She pressed her lips against your forehead, whispering a soft goodnight before leaving your room to let you sleep in peace.
Once exiting your room, the Doctor immediately had a plan form in her mind. The Tardis disapprovingly hummed down at her Thief.
“It’ll be fine!” She brushed the machine off, already heading down the hallway to put her plan into action.
That morning, you were hanging in the console room chatting with Yaz, when you heard a voice calling your name behind you. You looked down the hall to see the Doctor jogging towards you, her hair different than what it usually looks like.
“Y/N!” she said excitedly, bounding up the stair to you.
“Doctor,” you greeted with a smile. “Good morning.”
“Good morning,” she greeted back, grinning ear to ear. “Did you sleep well?”
You nodded. “I did actually. I don’t remember getting back to my room, though.”
Now that she was closer you could see her hair looked a lot more different than her usual style, almost as if she put way too much hair products in than necessary. Her hair was all… frizzy, like it was full of static. You were surprised there wasn’t anything magnetic on her.
“Doctor,” you started, unable to look away from the mess she had created on her own head. “What... what did you do?”
“Well, I was thinking on what you said last night about how you got your hair all nice and soft and I thought I’d give it a go myself!” She grinned at you.
You couldn’t stop yourself from smiling at her explanation. She just looked so cute and proud of herself with her achievement.
“It looks like you used a bit too much, Doctor,” you told her. You reached your hand up and ran your hand through her blonde locks being able to feel exactly how staticky it felt through your fingers.
The Doctor blushed under your touch. “Well, I-it’s a little bit different than when I was a man.”
You hummed in thought. “Well, why don’t I show you how to properly take care of it, and try to fix it? You looked like you used the whole bottle of shampoo.”
The Doctor ducked her head in embarrassment. “It may have been a few bottles actually.”
You laughed, reaching down to grab the Doctor’s hand to lead her away from the console room. You both waved bye to Yaz. She laughed and waved back before going off to find the others.
“Thank you,” the Doctor muttered out. You had her sit on the bathtub edge while you stood behind her. You ran your hands through her hair to see the exact amount of damage she did.
You hummed in response. “Of course! Next time maybe don’t use so much product.” You teased her.
She rolled her eyes even though you couldn’t see it. You told her the basics of hair care for women, how much shampoo and conditioner to use “The whole bottle right?” She asked.
“No! Not the entire thing! At least a tiny handful is enough,” you reached for the face moisturizer sitting on the bathroom sink.
“Moisturizer?” The Doctor asked looking at the bottle in your hand.
You shrugged. “There are a few different ways to deal with static hair, but this is the only thing I had on hand and I’m sure you wouldn’t like me rubbing a laundry detergent sheet all over your head. Moisturizer just happens to also protect your hair to minimize any.”
“Have you done this before?” She asked. She trusted you, of course, but was still curious.
“Yeah, kind of,” you replied. “I would do this for my siblings. They also would overdo it with the hair products, and I found that this works.”
The Doctor nodded and you went to work. You dabbed the cream in your hands and rubbed them together before applying it to the Doctor’s hair. The Doctor leaned her head back into your touch and sighed, she could see how you fell asleep so easily with her doing it the night before, she felt herself drifting to sleep under your touch. You smiled at her reaction. You tilted her head up to get easier access to the hair in front of her face, her eyes were closed and her breathing had steadied out. You quickly finished off the Doctor’s hair, you didn’t want to disturb the Doctor’s rest yet she just looked so adorable all relaxed. Your thumbs lightly brushed over the Doctor’s cheeks; the stress lines that had been so clearly on her face faded away with every motion.
After you finished, you leaned down and pressed your own lips down on her forehead and then to her cheek. “You’re all done now, Doctor,” you whispered, not fully wanting to break the silence.
The Doctor’s eyes fluttered open with a hum. You helped her stand and took in your work. The moisturizer worked wonders for her, it was no longer full of static, nor did it look frizzy and untidy. It looked closer to how it was before the ‘incident’.
She brushed her own hand through her hair and beamed. “It feels a lot better! Thank you!”
You gave your own smile. “You are so welcome, Doctor.”
The Doctor moved forward and wrapped you in a hug and you gasped in surprise. You’ve never really been hugged by the Doctor, so it was quite a surprise to be suddenly held in her arms. All you could feel, and smell was her. Her coat radiated warmth and she smelled like the lavender shampoo she had used earlier, and a little bit of the tea she had this morning. You were surround by everything of the Doctor and you loved it.
You knew how hard it was for the Doctor to really express herself, so you were patient. You were there for whatever she needed. Be it a travel companion, a friend or an impromptu hair stylist for a disaster.
The Doctor pulled back from the embrace. You hated how cold you felt being out of her arms. You almost went to hug her again. Almost. Instead, you held out your arm to her.
“Shall we go plan our next adventure, Doctor?” you asked.
She laughed and looped her arm through yours. “Lets,” she said.
You listened to her list of different planet names and what was on them as the two of you left the bathroom. You could never understand her when she spoke at a million miles per hour, but it was nice to see her talk about something so excitedly. She listed off places that would light sky lanterns every night or a planet that was covered in snow that when the sun shined on them it would look like the planet was covered in sparkling diamonds. They all sounded amazing, but honestly you were just happy traveling with the Doctor. It didn’t matter where you went, or when, you were just happy being with her.
She led you back towards the console room. She gestured for you to place your hand on the lever with her. “So, where do you want to go?” She asked you.
You thought for a minute. Anywhere, you said to yourself. Anywhere if it’s with you. But you knew she wouldn’t accept that, so you looked up and said, “Surprise me.” And her answering grin lit up the room, and the two of you pulled the lever down, and off into space you went.

I would love to see Sirius Remus and Asher going to Nuny's to check up on Jackson and then Asher is all adorable with the cats
Thanks so much for this prompt, anon! I got so excited as soon as I saw it. Get to combine my baby Asher with my favorite Nuny boys. I hope you enjoy it! These characters and their world (except for Asher) belong to the always amazing @lumosinlove.
If you haven’t read the rest of the Asher Pascal series, here’s the link!
***
“Now remember Ash, just because Uncle Nado doesn’t have the cast anymore doesn’t mean you can jump all over him.” Sirius said, glancing back at his son through the rearview mirror.
Asher nodded, clutching at his Lions stuffie as he stared out the window, “‘Cause he’s still hurtin’.”
Smiling, Remus reached back to pat the little boy’s foot, “That’s right, bub.”
Asher had been there for the game when Nado got hurt, and had been worried ever since. They’d already talked to him about how a lot of his family played hockey, and sometimes they got hurt. He had understood that but talking about it is a lot different than seeing it in front of your very eyes. The almost two year old had been itching to visit Jackson, but Sirius and Remus wanted to give him more time to heal up. So Asher video chatted with Nado whenever he could, going on about his day and whatever other things happened to pop into his head. He also gave Kuny drawings and get well cards, as well as one of his favorite stuffed animals to give to Nado until he could visit. Jackson teared up a bit when Kuny brought the gifts home, but he’ll deny it.
Now after two months, today was finally the day. Jackson had gotten his cast off a few days before and the Black-Lupin clan was given the OK to come visit.
Asher was wiggling in his seat as soon as Sirius put the car in park, a new drawing clutched in his hands, “C’monnnn. Time to get out!”
“Alright, let me get my seatbelt off first, jeez.” Remus said with a laugh before he climbed out. As soon as Asher was unbuckled, he made a break for the door but Sirius grabbed him quickly, throwing him over his shoulder. Wild giggles came from Asher as he held onto his daddy, dangling upside down over his back.
Remus let out an exasperated sigh, but it was mostly fond, “Be careful. We don’t need anyone else in casts.” Sirius looked back at him with a smile, blowing the other man a kiss before knocking on the door.
After a brief pause, there was some talking from behind the door before Kuny swung open, “Sorry, I should have asked. Do you have allergies?”
“Like food allergies?” Sirius asked, his eyebrows furrowed at the strange greeting as he moved Asher onto his hip.
Kuny shook his head as he pushed something behind the door away with his foot, “No, no food. Like animals.”
Then a voice came from inside the house, “Cats. He wants to know if you’re allergic to cats!” Nado yelled. Kuny glanced back, giving him a look.
“You got a cat?” Remus asked, peeking behind Kuny curiously. “And no, we’re not allergic to cats. Asher has a habit of trying to steal them though when we help at the shelter.”
Nodding, Kuny moved back to let them in, “We got cats. And I would steal too.” He said with a grin as he stole Asher from Sirius’s arms, leading them to the living room where Nado was waiting. Asher clung to him happily, his arms wrapping around the giant man’s neck.
Nado grinned, holding Milo up like he was Simba in the Lion King, “Kuny took me to a cat café after I got my cast off, and we ended up getting attached.” He said, bringing the kitten back down so he could nuzzle him back into his neck.
“Uncle Nadooooooooo!” Asher squealed as soon as he saw his other uncle. Kuny set him down next to the couch. “I drew you this picture, it’s got me and you and Uncle Zhenya!”
Carefully taking the drawing, Jackson smiled as he ruffled Asher’s hair, “It’s great, dude. Can’t wait to hang it up.”
Asher smiled big, but his eyes quickly scanned over his Uncle as if to check him over, “You ‘kay?” He asked, looking up from the boot.
“I’m doing much better now. The boot’s a lot more comfy than the cast.” Nado said with a soft smile, pulling Asher onto the couch next to him. Milo peered down at the new little person and started to scamper his way down Nado’s chest. “Seems like Milo wants to meet you.”
Remus leaned forward from his spot on the opposite couch, smiling as the small gray ball of fluff sniffed curiously at Asher, “He’s so cute.”
The kitten nuzzled into Asher’s hand, letting out a soft purr as he made himself comfortable on the small boy’s lap.
“Wait… did you say cats? As in plural?” Sirius asked, glancing around the room.
Kuny nodded, before he got up, “I grab Pumpkin. One second.” He said before heading to their room.
Petting his hand gently down the small kitten’s back, Asher looked up at his dads with a big smile, “He’s so soft. And tiny!”
“Yeah, Milo is the smallest of the bunch. He’s our little guy.” Jackson smiled, gently scratching under the kitten’s chin before he handed Asher one of the toys, it had a long stick with a string attached that had a small fish toy on the end.  “He likes this one. If you just drag it back and forth, he’ll chase it.”
Asher took the toy, trailing the small fish toy back and forth. Milo scampered after it, stumbling a bit as he tried to keep up with the fish toy.
Kuny came out of their bedroom not long after, carrying what looked to be a mass of orange fluff in his arms, “This is my Pumpkin.” He may have been smiling but the entirety of his face was covered by Pumpkin’s fluff.
Remus couldn’t help but laugh as he watched his friend try to sit next to his boyfriend when he very obviously couldn’t see.
“To the left a bit, babe.” Nado said, a fond smile spreading on his face as he pulled Kuny to sit down next to him before looking at their friends. “He got attached to her so we couldn’t leave her behind.”
Pumpkin let out an indignant meow as Kuny set her down on the floor by his feet, her tail swishing behind her as she made her way to where Sirius and Remus sat.
“You guys know you don’t have to take the cats with you when you visit cat cafes right?” Sirius teased, gently running his fingers through Pumpkin’s soft fur as she brushed against his legs.
Kuny laughed, resting his arm behind Nado as he leaned back into the couch, “They choose us, we just can’t refuse them.” He said, a soft smile spreading on his face.
Shaking his head, Remus reached to pet Pumpkin who had sprawled across Sirius’s lap, “So we leave you guys alone for a couple weeks and come back to you adopting two cats.”
“Three.”
Their heads whipped up to look at Nado who was smirking, “We got three cats.. And well the last one. It was more like he adopted us.”
Asher looked up from where he was nuzzling into Milo’s fur, “Where’s the other kitty?”
As if he heard them talking about him, Loki let out a loud meow from the kitchen, followed by another long one.
Kuny and Nado sighed, sharing a glance as Kuny got up, “Probably stuck on fridge. Again.”
“You spoil him, Zhenya. He’s big enough to get down by himself, but he knows you’ll come get him.” Nado said, shaking his head.
Eyebrows furrowed, they watched Kuny wander into the kitchen. Remus could hear soft whispering, but it was in Russian so he had no clue what the man was saying.
Nado looked over at them, “Loki jumps on the fridge if he feels that he’s not getting enough attention from Zhenya. And he stays up there until he comes and gets him.”
Kuny came back in, followed by a massive cat who was trailing as close to the Russian as possible without stepping on his feet.
“Jesus Fu-..” Sirius said, cutting himself off with a glance at his son.
Asher’s eyes were wide as he looked at the new cat, “Uncle Nado, you got a jaguar?!”
Laughing, Kuny picked Loki up, cradling him in his arms like a massive furry baby, “No jaguar, Ash. Just big kitty.” The massive cat nuzzled into Kuny’s chest as he sat back on the couch, letting out a loud purr now that he finally had his human’s attention.
“He’s a maine coon cat actually, they think he’s around one or two years old.” Jackson said, reaching over to scratch at Loki’s head.
Remus raised an eyebrow, “So he’s still growing?” He asked as the giant cat stretched out, sprawling across Nado and Kuny’s laps but his eyes were on the newcomers. “I’m feeling vaguely threatened.”
Kuny shook his head, “Nah, Loops, no threat. He's a big cuddle bug. You can pet him, Ash. Let him sniff you.” He said, as the little boy handed Milo off to Nado.
Asher moved slowly, holding his hand out for Loki to smell his hand. The big cat watched the tiny human curiously, sniffing at his hand before he got up. The tiny human had a small lap but it would have to do. Loki flopped down into Asher’s lap, almost covering him completely as the cat let out a loud purr. Asher’s face lit up as he looked between his parents and his uncles.
“He likes me!” Asher said happily as Loki curled up, nuzzling up into the little boy’s neck. Remus couldn’t help himself as he pulled out his phone, snapping pictures of Asher and Loki.
Smiling, Nado set Milo back onto his shoulder, “Well, I’m not surprised he likes you, dude. Loki’s a good judge of character.” Asher held the giant cat closer, his massive grin partially hidden in Loki’s fur.
Sirius couldn’t help but let out a sigh as he saw the happiness on Asher’s face, “Dammit… now we’re gonna have to get a cat.”
Letting out a laugh, Remus pressed a kiss to Sirius’s head. He couldn’t even disagree at this point.
Guess they should start looking at shelters.

What about Mc asking Belphie for his demon form just so they can cuddle his tail? Please? 🙂
I don’t think I’ve written a piece where Belphie’s been fully conscious, yet, and that’s not going to change now. He’s just so sweet when he’s half-asleep, isn’t he? So cuddly, so loving… I’d say gentle, too, but I’d hate to lie.
TW: Choking, Emotional Manipulation and Unhealthy Relationships.
~
You couldn’t remember the last time Belphegor slept in his own bed.
It’d been cute, at first, a little tick he latched onto for the sake of comfort. You’d find him burrowed under your sheets when you came home, curled up and clinging to one of your pillows, or sprawled out over your comforter whenever you forgot to close the door, not unlike a cat determined to sneak into every room it knew it shouldn’t be inside of. He’d pull you into his side and nuzzle into you, and you’d stifle a laugh, making a comment on his apparent clinginess and melting into the familiar affection. It was a miracle he survived in that attic for so long, honestly. He could barely go two minutes without something to hold on to, now.
It was still a little cute, the way he slotted himself against you, his lips slightly parted and his head resting on your chest, arms tucked under your back in a half-hearted attempt to bring you closer. Part of you didn’t want to wake him up. He was always so tired, always exhausted, and you hated the idea of being the one to disturb his peace. But, it was late, and you were uncomfortable. A raw, gnawing hunger had formed a pit in your stomach, shooting pains having quickly become a slow, constant ache. You’d missed dinner, thanks to his prolonged nap, and breakfast was a long way off.
But, you couldn’t tell Belphegor that. He’d pout, and whine, and when he realized you weren’t kidding, he’d get so angry, it’d kill your appetite for the next week.
No, you’d have to make this about him, if you wanted to get anywhere.
You shifted reluctantly, pulling your arms out from under him and attempting to prop yourself up on the small stack of pillows that’d migrated from his many, many hideaways to your bed. He groaned softly as you sat up, but you soothed him with a small rub to his shoulder, already knowing Belphegor would take any excuse to go back to sleep. Instead, you ran your fingers through his hair, tugging gently and watching as he blinked once, twice, eventually focusing blearily on your face once he came-to. A small frown pulled at the corners of his lips, a display of his discontent, but you couldn’t help but be relieved. A frown was nothing, compared to his usual warning signs.
“Belphie,” You started, your voice barely audible. Too weak to be assertive, but not weak enough to be pitiful. It didn’t matter, though. You just had to badger him until he was awake enough to move. “Can we change positions? My legs are getting sore.”
He hummed, his focus already beginning to wander, a squeeze to your midriff being the only sign of acknowledgment you received. “‘m comfy,” He mumbled, the words drawling out into something between a yawn and a slur. You narrowed your eyes, but if he noticed, he didn’t seem to care, content to maintain the one-sided status quo he’d established. “Give me a few more hours. You can decide what we do later.”
Later. That mysterious, distinct, unobtainable later. There wasn’t a later, there would never be a later. Not unless he intended to pay his debt when you were already too broken down to care. “It’s already been hours,” You persisted, your hands coming to rest on his shoulders, shaking when he failed to move. “Just… let me hold your tail, alright? We’ll still be touching, and I’ll be able to move without bothering you. It’s a good compromise.” He was already nodding off by the time you finished, but you only clicked your tongue, attempting to be a little louder. The hunger was getting worse, now that you’d acknowledged it. “C’mon, it’ll only take a second.”
He glanced towards you, pulling away slightly. “My tail?”
You nodded, smiling. “It’s only fair.”
You weren’t sure when you looked away, but you must’ve. One moment he was lying still, staring on as you beamed hopefully, and the next he was straddling your waist, clad in black and white and totting a thin, coiling tail, waving lazily in a nonexistent breeze. He was smiling too, suddenly, raising a hand to toy with the tips of curling horns, as if he still wasn’t used to them. Like there was something on his mind, keeping him from focusing on the matter at hand. When he opened his mouth, but there was a pause before he spoke, the silence soon filled with a half-hearted chuckle. “Why would I want this to be fair?”
Your composure faltered, but you didn’t have time to ask what he meant. As soon as you moved, his tail shot out, below his arm and over your shoulder, wrapping around your neck in a tight, suffocating noose. It was only one loop, but the appendage was strong, leathery skin rubbing against yours and scratching too deeply into your skin, irritating everything it touched. Scaley, spiked ridges dug into the nape of your neck, drawing blood, you were sure. Biting into your throat and tearing what was under it, unyielding despite your attempts to claw it away.
You tried to scream, but the sound was caught in your lungs, choked down as Belphegor’s grip tightened, pinning you to the headboard and keeping you quiet. He laughed freely, now, the sharp, crisp sound bubbling up in waves, only getting stronger as he went on uninterrupted. Even when he managed to suppress it, his grin remained broad, wide, toothy. More ecstatic than any amount of sleep could ever make him. “This isn’t supposed to be fair. This doesn’t have to be fair.” He spat the word as if it was venomous, his disdain seeping into his tone. “If I wanted to compromise, I’d say so. You’ll be the first to know, when I do.”
It was all you could do to gasp, the air in your lungs depleting quickly. “P-Please don’t--”
“Sweetheart, baby,” He interrupted, leaning closer and settling his weight against your diaphragm, making it all-but impossible to inhale. “I’m doing this for us, alright? First you want to keep me at a distance, then you want more time for yourself, and soon enough, you won’t want to see me at all. That wouldn’t be very good for anyone, would it?”
His grip loosened slightly, allowing you to take a breath, and you shook your head without hesitation, gritting your teeth to keep yourself from saying something vile. You stuttered out an apology, voicing your gratitude as meekly as you could, but Belphegor didn’t seem to care, he couldn’t care. All he seemed capable of was keeping up that fucking grin as he draped his arms over shoulders, his face soon buried in the crook of your neck as his tail fell to your legs, serving as a lingering reminder of why exactly you put up with this. You couldn’t believe you’d ever managed to forget.
“Go back to sleep,” He whispered, his grin still pressed against your skin. You doubted it would go away, any time soon. “Neither of us are going to be happy if I really have to explain myself.”

Obey Me! Brothers as Werewolves
Lucifer
Gonna remind everyone now that alpha theory was disproven and actual wolf packs act as family units
That being said - alpha, clearly
Not because he's the strongest (though he is) but because he's the most nurturing
Considers all his brothers (and you) to be his responsibility and under his care
Second biggest in wolf form (next to Beel)
Thick, dark fur, great in winter but in summer hates how hot and itchy it gets. Shedding his winter coat is an EVENT. Scratch him and fluff just falls out by the handfuls
Hates how patchy he looks when shedding, very grumpy when its happening
Refuses to ask for help when it comes to brushing out his coat, but if you're somewhere private he is very happy to just lie there whilst you brush out all that itchy loose fluff
Also just very nice to pet in general, but rarely let's you outside of softer moments :/
Not outwardly aggressive - when correcting his brothers behaviour hes more likely to just growl softly instead of going for a full snarl. If he actually shows his teeth then things are serious and you might want to have some final words with your jugular
Isn't very affectionate in public, but is very protective - wherever you go, if hes in his wolf form hes by your side, or at the very least is keeping an eye on you
If anyone he doesnt like the look of approaches you, he calmly places himself between the two of you. If that isn't enough trust me, a staring contest with those eyes isn't going to last long
Mammon
Pretty boyyo
White fur thats not nearly as thick and long as Lucifer's but still has a substantial ruff
Uses his wolf form to run away from loan sharks a lot (hey, four legs are quicker than two, right?)
Also loves the attention he gets from girls - he knows he's handsome in both forms, but girls say it more when they think he can't understand them
Sheds the least of all the brothers, but since his coat is so pale his hair is more noticeable so he still gets flack for getting it on the furniture
Hes still needy as a wolf
You know those videos of huskies throwing massive tantrums??? Yeah, hes on that level, his dramatics only kept in check by his tsundere nature
Loves it when you pet him. He'll pretend he doesn't, but the second you stop hes gonna start whining
(Doesn't) hate it when you baby-talk him
Not generally aggressive within the pack, just prickly - maybe a growl or a huff here and there, maybe a snap if someone's really pushing his buttons
He is possessive tho
Will physically put himself between you and other people to get your attention. If the other person doesn't take the hint, then he's showing teeth
If you don't let him sleep in the room with you, you'll open your bedroom door the next day and find him curled up outside
Definitely wants to put his head in you lap and have you stroke him til he falls asleep but refuses to admit it
Gets jealous if you're petting another brother at the same time as him and will throw a tantrum and try to shove them away from you
He was your first pact, which means he has first dibs on all cuddles!!!! What do ya mean that's not a rule??? Thats totally a rule!!!!
Leviathan
'Hes not dog friendly'
Spends very little time in his wolf form (its hard to game without opposable thumbs)
Does sometimes shift out of shock tho
Like, if you kiss him unexpectedly, poof! There's a wolf infront of you, who's blushing lobster red underneath all that fur
Will hide under the bed
✨separation anxiety✨
Glued to your side in wolf form, because he doesn't like or trust other people or wolves (and definitely NOT because he likes your company and wants you to maybe pet him 😳😳😳)
Kinda likes that you can't see him blushing when he's in wolf form
Will lie next to you and wait for you to initiate pets. Especially loves it when you scratch him behind the ears.
Because hes a shut in and doesn't spend a lot of time in his wolf form, his fur is the messiest - patchy winter coat, small tangles, really just needs a good brush (but only if you do it)
Not really aggressive to others, just not friendly. Maybe a growl every now and then, and sometimes a tantrum gets thrown, but thats it
Satan
Still quite cat-like
Hes not going to be throwing any loud husky-like tantrums
Doesn't like that he can't read books in wolf form (difficult to turn pages without hands) but does enjoy the emotional release for his anger when it comes to hunting Hell-Hinds and other demonic deer.
Fur is short, sleek, a lovely pale gold and well-kept (when it isn't bloodied by his most recent hunt)
When he isn't hunting he does enjoy stretching out infront of a fireplace and warming his fur
Is unopposed to being brushed when he's in the position, and may even allow you to pet his head gently, but thats it
Might lay his head in your lap tho
Sheds the least of all the brothers
Still tries to control his temper in wolf form, but you better hope he maintains it because those teeth can issue you a one-way ticket to the afterlife
Sometimes snaps or growls at his brothers, but is more likely to just leave the room if they're annoying him. If they're in his room then they're getting chased out with their tail between their legs (except Lucifer who wouldn't invade his space like that)
Asmodeus
Who's a pretty boy???? Who is???
Its him!!!!!!
Friendliest of all the brothers, if only because he loves the attention people give him
Will walk up to you and just wait for the compliments (not unusual, tbf)
Doesn't love the hunting side of being a wolf - mud???? Blood??? Sweat???? In MY fur??????? I don't think so
Only really partakes when necessary, or if he's decided to go for a roguishly disheveled look that day
Uses his wolf form as an excuse to get affection that would be less appropriate in his human form - belly rubs, giving you puppy-dog eyes to be let up onto the bed, getting you to give him a bath - stuff that Lucifer would be more likely to reprimand him for when he wasn't a wolf
Softest fur of all the brothers - sleek, silky and always throughly brushed out, even when shedding. Plus, loves being pet so long as you don't mess up his fur too much.
Beelzebub
GOOD BOY GRANDE
The biggest of boys, the goodest of boys
Loves being in wolf form because its even easier to get food from people
You think his puppy eyes are bad NOW??? WAIT UNTIL HES AN ACTUAL PUPPY
Very comfortable in his wolf form, spends the most time out of all the brothers like that
Has absolutely no shame begging food from people's tables, no matter where you are. Also has no shame stealing food from people's tables, but will whine and act ashamed if they yell at him
Dont yell at him. He's baby.
Incredibly fluffy red coat, that and the amount of muscle underneath makes him the biggest wolf in the pack by far
Big doggy grin that could melt any heart
So tall that when he wags his tail you have to make sure it doesn't sweep everything off the table
Also loves being pet and doesn't mind baby talk at all. You can treat him like an actual dog and he won't get mad - he'll play fetch with you if you really want, but as a warning, the stick might end up more than a little chewed
Will, however, also go digging through people's bins
Also kinda slobbery
Is pretty much never aggressive, but then again, who would be stupid enough to provoke something with that much muscle and teeth???
If you scritch the right spot behind his ear his leg kicks out. He's not ashamed. More scritches pls.
But his favourite spot for scritches are under his jaw and his chin
WHAT ARE YOU EATING??? HEY!!! NO!!!! WHAT IS IN YOUR MOUTH???? BEEL YOU CANT EAT CHOCOLATE WHEN YOURE A WOLF!!!!! DROP IT!!!! DROP IT!!!!
Belphagor
Smallest of the wolves
Enjoys sleeping in wolf form because the fur adds an extra level of cosiness
You will just find him curled up in a nest of pillows with his nose tucked under his tail. Or flopped across a sofa, until Lucifer yells at him to get off the furniture
Has that intense stink-eye that some huskies are capable of.
Sometimes forgets to shift, or can't be bothered and will just wander around attempting to do people things until he realises hes in the wrong body - you ever gone to brush your teeth and then realised you need hands for that???
Definitely walks around holding his cow pillow in his mouth, or sometimes a plushie
Or dragging a blanket
Honestly its very cute
Does enjoy being gently pet as his drifts of to sleep
Which is good because his fur is always mussed up from his last nap
But if he falls asleep on you???? You're not moving. Sorry not sorry. This is your life now.
Little wolf bleps when he sleeps ➖👅➖
Has definitely vomited in Lucifers shoes as a wolf at least once, simply out of spite
Thick fur, but not long. Sheds a lot, but his fur is so dark you don't see it as much.
Lets out little muffled woofs and yips when he sleeps, and twitches when he dreams of running
If you scratch the right spot when hes sleeping, his leg will kick out the same as Beels, but if you do it when hes awake he'll get embarrassed and either leave, or give you a warning nip
The most aggressive with other pack members - hes just kinda bratty. Huffs a lot and is quick to give out little nips when he isn't happy, though he isn't much of a growler and never goes farther than that
Won't play fetch like Beel, but if you're REALLY lucky, he'll bring you a plushie of your own when he joins you for a nap
(Also, im relatively new to the game, I know there was a vampire event, if there was a werewolf event im unaware of it atm, but this is just for fun anyway)

Admittedly, taking in a strange stray cat was not the brightest idea one might have had when one lived in a world of faeries and magic and mythical creatures straight out of old wives’ tales.
But it had been cold and rain had been pouring down in sheets, and the poor scrap of a cat had been huddled in a pathetic little ball among the trees of the Milkwoods, its pelt growing soggy in the onslaught.
And if that weren’t pitiful enough, dawn had been creeping ever closer, and—while darkness was dangerous in the human world—nighttime in Faerie was quiet and as generally peaceful as it could get in a land where a wrong turn might spell death-by-endless-dancing. Yes, in Faerie, the darkness meant safety, whilst daylight brought dangers from stories untold.
Consequently, when Jude had stumbled across the sopping black cat—literally, tripped over the thing, as it had lain in the dimming shadows—she had made the somewhat-horrible decision to have mercy on it. She was, regrettably, only human, after all.
“You look as lost as I feel,” she had admitted, crouched before the little creature, hand outstretched. It was staring at her with dark amber eyes, crouched low amongst the wet grass.
“Come now,” she coaxed. “I won’t harm you, little one.”
The animal had sidled up to her, somehow managing to seem hesitant and haughty all at once, and she had scooped it up and held it to her chest, wrapping her coat around its shivering body.
She ran the rest of the way home.
~ ~ ~
Jude wasn’t entirely sure how Madoc would react to her bringing a cat into his house—she had a vague fear that he might view it as a meal, and a brief image of the lizardlike guard who had taken the tip of her finger for a snack flashed through her mind.
She couldn’t leave the poor thing in the stables, lest the stablehands find it and kick it out, or one of the larger, carnivorous mounts decide to gobble it up, and so she slipped in through a servant’s door, pausing for a moment beneath the light of a torch set into the wall to peek into the folds of her jacket at the warm, wet cat huddled against her chest.
“Alright in there?” she asked it, and smiled as the glowing amber eyes blinked back.
Carrying her boots so as not to track mud through the halls, Jude tiptoed up the stairs to her room. She ducked into a guest room once, when she heard voices down the hall, but most of the manor was asleep by this time.
As she snuck through the corridors, she felt, for a moment, like a normal human girl in a normal human world, perhaps creeping in late from a party.
“Sometimes,” Jude breathed, turning in to her room and closing her door behind her, “it’s nice to just pretend, don’t you agree?”
The cat mewed, its little voice creaky.
“Exactly. You get it.” She plunked the creature on her bed as she stripped her coat off and slung it over a chair. The cat jumped down. It had left a little wet patch on her blankets.
“You poor thing,” she exclaimed, “you're soaking!”
Grabbing a towel from the bottom of her wardrobe, Jude sat on the floor and pulled the cat into her lap. It sat patiently as she rubbed at its ears and shoulders, running the towel over its long, thin body. It closed its eyes as she patted at its soft cheeks.
“Cats are funny, you know,” she remarked to it. It opened its amber eyes at the sound of her voice, looking up to meet her gaze.
“So delicate,” she scratched the animal on it's fine jaw bone with a single finger, “and yet, if you were to fall out my window, you could walk away perfectly fine.”
The cat gave what Jude could only interpret as an indignant squawk and dug its claws into the damp fabric of her leggings.
“I'm not going to throw you out my window,” she laughed, stroking its soft head. “Don’t you worry your pretty little kitty mind.”
They sat quietly for a few moments, the only sounds Jude’s breathing and the cat’s rumbling purr as she stroked its drying pelt, until Jude began to shiver in her damp tunic.
The cat meowed, climbing off her lap and kneading its paws on her leg until she went to grab a dry nightgown, and then turning its back to her as she peeled her wet tunic over her head.
What a strange cat, she thought as she shimmied out of her leggings. She smiled. They were already covered in cat hair.
~ ~ ~
Being a human among faeries, Jude had to fight for each moment she spent on the Isles of Elfhame. She had long ago learned that knowledge, while dangerous, was also powerful, and she had made it a priority to know what she could about the goings on of the Faerie court.
So, naturally, when the palace messenger had arrived with urgent news, Jude had taken it upon herself to learn what he knew. He’d refused to divulge anything to anyone except the General himself, and so Jude found herself crouching outside Madoc’s office, her ear pressed to the door as the messenger began to speak.
“What do you mean the prince is missing?” Madoc rumbled. His voice carried a level of concern that Jude could not believe was entirely sincere.
“His Highness Prince Cardan has not been seen nor heard from in three days,” the messenger boy repeated. “High King Eldred wishes you to conduct a search.”
Despite herself, Jude found she held a modicum of respect for the boy; she would have snapped something smart at Madoc’s senseless question, and probably would have received a threat in return.
She held her breath, listening for the Redcap’s next words.
“Where was he last seen?” Madoc sighed. “Or who spoke with him last? Do you have any useful information for me?”
“Only that he was last seen with a pixie girl during the Full Moon Revel four nights prior to this. The girl has been detained but she hasn’t spoken.”
Jude’s chest tightened at the thought of the insolent prince wandering off with some pixie. The girl had probably been tortured for information, although if it were up to her, Jude would have provided ample compensation to the girl for having spent any time alone with Cardan.
Against all conscious efforts, the thought of the prince’s long, slender fingers sliding up her skin crept into her mind, accompanied by a picture of his face—his cruel mouth and his dark eyes—jeering down at her. Her stomach lurched and she wrestled the nauseating images from her mind.
Madoc’s armour clinked as he marched toward his door.
Jude spun on her heel and ran.
~ ~ ~
“Kitty, I’m back,” Jude called into the empty darkness of her room. She tried to pitch her voice softly, but her nerves were still frayed from the messenger’s news.
The cat slunk out from under her bed, a living shadow with bright eyes, and watched intently as she set two small bowls down for him against the wall.
After dashing away from her foster father’s office, Jude had stopped by the kitchen to find some water and scraps of meat for her furry visitor.
By the time she’d made it back to the relative safety of her room, the faerie boy had already left, as had Madoc. If he had caught any sign of her presence outside his door, he had either deemed it irrelevant or had decided he would deal with her later.
The cat mewed, stretching up to hook his claws into her leggings. He had devoured the meal.
“Someone was hungry.” Jude gave a small laugh and scooped the feline up. During the few days he’d been with her, she’d discovered that she quite enjoyed his company. He was a friend she could confide in without worrying her secrets would get out, and more than that, he was a presence she could stand to be around.
Jude pulled off her boots and plopped cross legged onto her bed, cuddling the cat in her lap, stroking his silken fur.
“Enjoyed dinner?” she asked him.
He said, “Mrrow,” and yawned in her face, showing off long, sharp fangs.
“Oh, really? And how was your day?” she hummed, to which he grumbled in response. She liked to make idle conversation with the animal, as though she understood him.
“Well, my day was lovely, thank you for asking.” She thought for a moment. “But it was a bad kind of lovely. You know when you get a bruise and it hurts but you keep pressing on it because you like the pain? Like that, but opposite. Like the sun is making the clouds shimmer, and it’s beautiful, but those clouds are going to cause a flood. The sky is still lovely, but it’s the kind of lovely that hurts.”
The cat’s eyes were fixed on her, shining that bright amber as he stared in the way only cats could. It made her uncomfortable.
“No, I suppose I’m not making any sense, am I?” She pulled the cat onto her chest as she lay back, staring up into nothingness, and stroked his back. She pretended the deep rumble of his purr was the thunder of a summer storm, shaking the earth before bathing it in a warm rainfall.
“I’m worried,” she admitted at last, shattering the spell. “It’s been three nights since he’s been in class, and I wonder where he could have gotten to. Why he’s not coming—not that I care about him, specifically. I just like to keep an eye on what he does and the specific messes he decides to make.”
The cat looked at her sidelong, his gleaming amber eyes pinning her with a look that she couldn’t quite place, although it was decidedly human.
“Don’t look at me like that,” she scolded, although the cat, being a cat, did not heed her request.
She sighed. Outside her window, the sky began to lighten as dawn crept closer, the daytime sky stretching up to meet the stars through fog and wispy clouds. Her kitty snuggled into her, tucking his head beneath her chin.
“I wonder if maybe he’ll never come back,” she mused, watching as the first drops of rain tapped at the glass, sparkling in the lamplight.
The cat purred, sounding as though he agreed, which Jude found unfathomably funny.
“I think you and I get along rather well,” she told him.
“Mrrmm,” the cat grumbled, patting at her face with soft paws. He turned his amber gaze on her and she smiled, scratching the cat behind his ear with one gentle finger. She felt warm and content, listening to his purr, feeling his small weight atop her chest as she breathed.
“Maybe,” she hummed, letting her eyes drift back to the rain outside, “we were meant to find each other.”
The cat’s rumbling purr echoed in the space of her room, and Jude felt like she was home.

nora the arc) nora wants a pet to compete with zwei because it's not fair that rwby gets one but they don't! jaune points out it can't be a sloth because it wouldn't be able to be taken care of by them as often as needed.
thus the search begins to find the ultimate animal companion!
or nora adopts a Kodiak bear and everyone's too scared to tell her no and jaune can't tell her no without making her cry and he just can't handle that
"Get the chicken, boy! Get the chicken!" Nora sighed as she sat on the common room couch, watching Ruby play keep away with her dog, Zwei.
She always wanted a pet, but the Arc family household had a strict 'no pets allowed' rule. Part of it was due to the Nora and the other kids being too chaotic to properly care for them, but mostly it was because Isabella was allergic to pet dander.
"Yay! You got it!" Ruby cheered as Zwei hung from the chicken, shaking his tiny body to tear free the juicy, tender meat. The chicken squeaked as his jaws tightened around the chew toy.
"Jauney?" Nora whined. Her fiance was currently looking over important documents with Weiss. He wasn't familiar with them, but as a result of her upbringing as an heiress, she was.
"Yeah?" He replied without glancing from his papers.
"I want a pet." Nora whined.
"I'll pet you in a minute." He replied.
"No, like, a doggy, or a kitty cat!"
"We can't have pets, Nora." Jaune said.
"Ruby has a pet!"
"Ruby is dog sitting while her dad is on a mission." Jaune countered. "Zwei isn't going to stay with them forever." A paperclip hit him square in the nose, causing him to flinch. "Ow! What was that for, Weiss?"
"For being so rude." Weiss replied with a huff.
"Yeah, you're right." Jaune said, scratching his nose. "I'm sorry if I was rude to you, Nora."
"Not to her, you goof!" Weiss groused. "To me!"
"Huh? What did I say to you?" Weiss turned away and huffed.
"Well, if you won't get me a pet," Nora declared, standing from her seat, "then I'll just have to go out and find one!"
Before anyone could stop her, Nora was already gone. She left the common room so quickly, Jaune thought she might have been a pink blur. He simply sighed, since he knew there would be no stopping her.
"Right, where were we?" He said, turning his attention back to the papers. He was looking over leases, permits, fees, costs, and something called a home equity notice. He groaned as he remembered. For the past few hours, he was learning finances, realty, and the oh so wonderous benefits of home ownership. He hadn't even moved in and The Watchtower was already giving him a headache.
"We can stop for now, if you'd like." Weiss offered.
"Yeah." Jaune answered. "Yeah, I think that'd be for the best." He leaned back with a groan and massaged his temples. "I didn't sign up for this. I didn't sign up for any of this."
"Well, according to this document, you did." Weiss replied, holding up a page.
He sighed. "Where would we be without you, Weiss?"
"I'm lost." Nora declared. She decided the best location to find her pet was in the untamed wilderness of the Emerald Forest. She wandered in, Magnhild in hand for protection, and walked until she got here: in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees. "Wait!" She looked behind, then around the tree in front of her, and then crouched low, putting her ear to the ground. "Ah, now I know!" She stood up triumphantly. "I'm hopelessly lost!"
She decided she couldn't get more lost, so she decided to walk until she made it back to Beacon. As she traveled in the shadows of the forest's majesty, she considered what kind of pet would be best for her family.
First, the animal needed a lot of energy. Nora doesn't accept laziness. Sloths weren't lazy. In fact, they might be the most energetic animals in all of Remnant. Dedicated, too, since they never just poop from the trees. They climb down, poop, and then climb back up. If that wasn't dedication, Nora didn't know what was.
Second, it had to be tough. A pet that can't fight for it's home is just an expensive free-loader. It either had to be big and tough, or feisty enough to fight the big and tough.
Last, it had to be cute. Now, cute is a subjective term, but Nora knows cute. Zwei? Cute. Chihuahuas? Not cute. Ursas? Cute! Girls flirting with Jaune? Not cute!
A snapping twig caught her attention. She turned and saw the most adorable creature she ever saw! She almost cried. She kneeled down to her hands and knees, chin level to the ground. "You're perfect!"
"Has anyone seen Nora?" Jaune had just finished shuffling the papers into a pile, and placed them inside his bedside dresser drawer. Should make for a cozy roommate with his X-Ray and Vav comics. "It's almost time for dinner."
"Is she still looking for a pet?" Pyrrha asked, brushing her hair.
"I hope she didn't get lost." Ren said, eyes shut in meditation. "Does she have her scroll on her?"
"She does, but she didn't answer when I tried calling her." Jaune answered, holding up his scroll. "I'm gonna go look for her."
"We'll all go." Ren stood up slowly, recovering from sitting for so long. "I'll inform Professor Goodwitch."
Jaune nodded. He opened the door to their dorm and walked down to the locker storage to retrieve their weapons. They met up with Ren and Professor Goodwitch at the entrance. Her expression was as stoic as always.
'We're on our way.' Jaune thought, sending a silent prayer to Nora. 'Just hang on, Nora.'
Nora was bleeding; covered in scratches and bites as she wrestled with the beast in her arms. It was a Grimm of some kind. It had the dog-like features of a Beowolf, yet had more round features with floppy ears instead of erect points, and it's mask-like carapace only covered it's eyes instead of the entire top of it's head. It barked and snarled in her grasp.
"You are soooooo cute!" Nora cooed she walked with her puppy-dog Grimm. The little thing was all alone, and she just couldn't leave out here alone. They needed a home, and a mommy and daddy to love them. "I can't wait for you to meet your daddy."
She stepped into a clearing, and stared with wide-eyes at the stars that shined from the clear skies above. The pup continued to squirm in her grasp. She shifted her hands to hold the dog-like Grimm to her chest with one hand while resting the other on her brow.
"Aha!" Nora pointed into the darkness, a dark tower only seen atop it's hill by the moonlight. "There! Do you see that?" Nora held the pup aloft over her head. "There's your new home! Once Mommy and Daddy graduate, we'll be living there, just the three of us."
She sighed as she closed her eyes and dreamed of the future. She imagined her and Jaune, much older, sitting in a big living room on the couch, their children playing with their toys as their new puppy, now a much bigger dog, rested at their feet.
"Happily ever after." Nora brought her arms down to her. "Doesn't that sound nice?" She opened her eyes to a black-and-red mouth with sharp teeth on the edges, a reverberating growl tickling her face, numbing the pain.
"Nora!" A familiar voice called out to her. She turned to face it, but all she could see was Grimm mouth. "Are you okay?!"
"I'm fine!" Nora replied cheerily. She felt a tug on her face, and fingers over the white teeth. "I'm just out here playing with Lucky!"
"Lucky?!" Jaune pulled as hard as he could, pulling the jaws backwards to remove their grip on her face. He pulled it off, then let go as he moved in to check her wounds. "What did this little monster do to- OW!" Jaune felt a sharp pain on his rear, like needles digging en masse into his buttocks.
"Aw! Lucky loves your butt, too!"
"Nora, get it off!"
She rolled her eyes and sighed with a smile as she removed his new baby from his perfect butt. His pants ripped, but his underwear remained. She noticed the pup chewing on something between the fabric. It was a small, glass vial of Forever Fall sap.
"Aw, you brought us a present!" Nora cooed as she wrestled the glass from their teeth. "You didn't have to."
"If we needed a distraction, I did, and we probably will." He placed a hand on Nora's shoulder. "Honey, I understand you want to add a pet to our family to help us grow bigger, but a Grimm is-"
Nora stepped away, kneeling down and releasing the pup. They ran away from the two, barking loudly into the night. When she popped open the cap and poured the liquid into her palm, they stopped bark and watched carefully. She stayed low with an extended palm.
"It's okay." Nora whispered. "We won't hurt you." The pup cautiously approached. Once it got close enough, it pounced on Nora's hand. It's paws sticky, it sniffed and licked the sap from it's fur. Once it's paws were clean, it lapped up the rest of Nora's palm. Nora cautiously reached with her other hand, slowly and carefully, and scratched behind it's ear. It momentarily flinched, but continued to lick up the sticky substance. "Lucky, you're such a good baby."
"This is... interesting." Ren, Pyrrha and Professor Goodwitch arrived in time to watch Nora feed the tiny Grimm. "Are you okay, Nora?"
"I'm fine, Pyrrha." Nora said, refusing to look away from the pup. "Just a few cuts and bruises." Once the sap had been licked away, Lucky ran away from Nora. It stopped to look back once, then disappeared into the forest.
Nora stood up, taking a few steps towards where Lucky ran. She stopped and smiled. "I'm glad you liked it, Lucky. I love you."
Jaune smiled as he walked to her. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling himself closer. She instinctively rested her head against his shoulder, cuddling closer.
"Do you think they'll be okay?" Nora's smile faded.
"You picked them, Nora." Jaune hugged her closer. "You don't settle for less than the best. I mean, you picked me, right?"
"Jaune," Pyrrha beckoned, blushing, "why do you have a hole in your pants?" He sighed. Yup, she sure knew how to pick them.

Cinnamon and Sugar
Chapter Three
Warnings: language, fluff, mentions of a toxic relationship, small angst
Characters: Dean, Reader, Benny Lafitte (mentioned only)
Pairings: Dean x Reader
Word Count: 1.8k
Tumblr media
Dean let you sit in his car until the rain let up a bit. "God, I hate the rain." He grumbled.
"I love it." You whisper, your eyes wandering the parking lot. "When I was younger, and there was a thunderstorm, me and my siblings would make a fort and huddle underneath it together. We loved it when the power would go out. We would light candles and grab flashlights and play board games in the dark. Sometimes Andrew would read to us. But uh - it would be scary stories," You smiled. "He would scare the ever living crap out of us. Lena and Josh would would cuddle into my side, no matter how much I hated it, they would still do it."
"You really love your siblings." Dean noted, swallowing hard, memories of Sam flooding his head.
"I do." You nodded. "They're all I have. Sure, I have my parents, but it's not the same, you know? Growing up, my siblings and I fought like dogs and cats, but we knew each other better than anyone, even our parents. Even when I go months without seeing them, when we all get together, it's like we're still little kids, ya know? We goof around, we argue, we joke. It's like none of us ever grew up."
Dean stayed silent for a moment, and you weren't sure if your message was getting across. "Look, I know we don't know each other very well, but what I'm trying to say is, call your brother. I don't know what happened between you two, but it's obvious that you love him. You shouldn't waste all your time worrying about whether you should contact him first or if he's angry with you. Time is a precious thing and people often waste it."
"Damn, you're wise." Dean gave a quiet chuckle. "But you're right. I will call him soon, I'm just not ready yet." And with that, the Impala was enveloped in silence again. That is, until Dean's stomach let out a loud rumble. "Sorry," He apologized with a sheepish grin.
"Don't worry about it." You shrugged. "It looks like the rains letting up. Do you want to come inside and I can fix you some food?"
"Oh, I don't want to impose." He shook his head.
"Nonsense. You gave me a ride home, this is the least I can do."
Dean silently debated whether or not he should take you up on the offer, but ultimately agreed, seeing as he was starving. By the time you were under cover, you were both soaked.
As soon as you opened the door to your apartment, you were met with a warm blast of heat. A pleasant shiver ran down your spine.
You began to click your tongue, calling out for your moody cat. "Storm, c'mere buddy." Your cat glared at you stubbornly from his place on the window seal. You rolled your eyes, slipping off your jacket and hanging it over the back of the chair.
"Sorry," You apologized to Dean. "My cat's being a little bitch." The man let out a laugh at your comment. "I gave him a bath and clipped his claws yesterday; now he's pissed at me."
"How in the hell do you cut a cat's nails?" He questioned, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Very carefully." You noticed that Dean was shivering. "Let me grab you a towel. I think I have some of my exes clothes. You're about the same size."
He was going to object when you silenced him with a look. You went to your room and began rummaging around in your draws, eventually finding a pair of black sweat pants and a grey hoodie.
"Try this," You said, handing Dean the clothes. "They should fit. You can change in the bathroom; it's the first door on the right."
While Dean went to change, you did the same. You exited your bedroom dressed in a pair of black leggings and a UK sweatshirt.
You noticed that Dean still wasn't out yet, so you went to start some food. You contemplated on what you should cook before ultimately deciding that mac and cheese would do. It was a comfort food, after all.
It would take a bit longer than usual, since you were making it from scratch, but Dean had said earlier that he had nowhere to be.
"Smells good in here." Dean noted when he walked out of the bathroom. Seeing him in Michael's clothes made your heart stop for a second, and not in a good way.
Dean and Michael had many similarities, the hair color, height, demeanor, etc. And you didn't want to be reminded of that man.
"Thanks," You said nonchalantly. "It's nothing special, but I thought you'd like it."
"So," Dean started, leaning against the counter. "This is a nice little set up you've got here."
"It's not much, but it's home." You shrugged as you stir the pot of noodles. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Storm sneaking around the corner of the kitchen, hoping for some food or a treat.
"How long have you lived here?" Dean asked.
"About five years." You informed him. "Ever since I turned eighteen I've been living on my own."
"How come?"
"You know the thing parents always say? 'As long as you live in my house, you follow my rules'? Well, I didn't like their rules so I got myself this apartment and I've lived here ever since."
Dean snorted. "Yeah, my old man was like that too. I actually did the same thing as you did. 'Cept I came back 'bout a week later." He laughed. "I was too dependent on my dad and brother. I have never lived alone before then; and to be honest, I hate living by myself. I still do."
"You never got roommates?"
"I had a few. There was Mick and Cas. Of course, I can't forget Benny." He grinned. "But they're all gone now."
"Benny?" You mumbled. "As in Benny Lafitte?"
"Yeah, why? You know him?"
"Do I?" You rolled your eyes. "That idiot's my cousin."
"Really?" Dean said excitedly. "I haven't heard from him in ages, how's he doing?"
"He's loving by the coast, and the last I heard, he met some girl named Andrea and he is head over heels in love."
"That's great." Dean smiled. "I really happy for him."
"Yeah, I expect to get an invitation to his wedding so enough. The way he talks about her, you would think he's known her his entire life."
"That's sweet. Benny seems like the guy that falls hard after one date."
"Oh yeah, he definitely is." You giggle. "He calls me after one date and says, 'Y/N, I think I'm in love. If I sent you a picture of a wedding ring, would you look at it and tell me what you think?'"
"No way!" Dean laughed.
"Yes! I had to talk him down from buying an engagement ring! I told him to wait for a year and a half, and then revisit the subject of marriage. Times almost up and he's still fawning over her. But I'm happy for him, he definitely deserves this."
You sprinkled bread crumbs on top of the Mac and cheese before popping it in the oven for a few minutes.
"You put break crumbs on your mac and cheese?" Dean questioned.
"You don't?"
"Never tried it." He shook his head.
"You caveman." You sighed. "I will just have to train you." Dean gave a harmonious laugh, which, in turn, made you laugh as well.
You grabbed a towel and pulled the mac and cheese out of the oven. You scooped some onto a plate and handed it to Dean. Both of you sat down at your small kitchen table and began to dig in.
"Oh my god." Dean said, his mouth full with food. "That is the best mac and cheese I've ever had."
"See? Told you it would be good."
"I'll never doubt you again." He mumbled as he shoveled more into his face.
You ate in a comfortable silence until there was a knock at your door. "I'll be right back." You told Dean as you opened the door.
"Mr. Pierce." You said nervously. "What can I help you with?" You knew what he wanted. And you sure as hell didn't have it.
"You're behind on rent, Y/N. I need the money, or I'll have no choice but to evict you." You felt your heart drop to your stomach.
"I-I don't have it right now. My hours have been cut and I-"
"I'm sorry, Y/N. You're a good girl, but I need someone who will lay rent on time every month. I really hate to do this, but I want you out in two weeks."
"I-It's okay, Mr. Pierce," You assured him shakily. "I understand." And with that, he was gone. You gave a shaky breath as you leaned on the door.
"Y/N?" Dean called, approaching the living room. "What's going on? Are you okay?"
"I will be." You nodded.
"What happened?" Dean questioned gently.
"I just got my eviction notice." You deadpanned. Dean's mouth popped open in shock. "I have to be out in two weeks."
"Crap, sweetheart. I'm sorry. What are you going to do?"
"Couch surf for a while, maybe? I know Jo will let me stay with her for a couple of days, but if her landlord catches me there, he'll throw her out too."
"What about your parents?"
You gave a cold laugh. "No, they'll never let me come home. I would stay with my older brother, but he's overseas right now. So honestly, I don't know what I'm going to do."
Dean stayed silent for a moment before speaking up. "You could come live with me." He suggested.
"Dean, I really appreciate the offer, but I can't impose on you like that."
"It's okay," He assured you. "I have an extra bedroom. And it's not imposing if I'm asking. Besides, like I said before, I hate living on my own."
"Dean, we barely know each other." You tried to reason.
"Hi, my name is Dean Winchester, I'm an Aquarius, I enjoy sunsets, long walks on the beach, and frisky women." You let out a loud laugh. "There, now you know more about me."
"Dean-"
"Just think about it. If you can't find anywhere else to live, my door's always open. I have to go, but here's my number," He said, writing down his phone number on a sticky note. "If you need anything, call me." Dean gave you a small smile before he walked out the door.
