Space Pirates Have Taken Over My Life 18+ •Marvel/GoTG/TWD/Longmire/StarWars• {Fanfiction writer/Original novel writer/Video editor/Gifer/Graphic Designer/Artist/Song Writer} I post a lot about my OCs(for fanfic and otherwise)
I can guarantee that Wrecker was waiting for Tech to tell him what plan 55 was before remembering that he wasn't there and he had to remember what the plan was himself.
ok but this is a really good idea for fanfic and I actually wanna use it now.....
It just occurred to me that, given the fact that every artificial enhancement and change her body to go through was done without her consent, given that she probably hates it – Nebula would probably be completely speechless when she hears and sees Kraglin going out of his way to get a fin implanted in his head because he wants to. He wants to have an intrusive change to his own body made because of sentiments.
(Plus it would be a glaring reminder to the fin Nebula once shot off from the head of a different man, a man now dead, and perhaps, just perhaps, a tiny part of her will wonder if that man would still live and Kraglin wouldn’t have to take such measures if she hadn’t done that back then – confusing her further, because since when does she doubt or regret her doings?)
Alas, I think that would be a rather interesting conversation between the two of them - and slightly awkward, because Nebula would probably charge at the subject without much explanation, leaving Kraglin like “Errrrr, what’s the problem exactly, what did I do????”
I mean we only spend months writing so they can read for free, even a small comment shouldn't be too hard and it literally makes writers days!
yeah sex is cool I guess
but have you ever had someone leave a comment with a paragraph-long review of your fanfic containing genuine praise, thorough criticism, and an in-depth analysis of all the lore hints you dropped that you spent ages intricately crafting
found a way I can read the first comic issue that featured the Guardians of the Galaxy, also Yondu's first appearance, without having to spend 100 plus bucks to get hardcopy and I have just one thing to say before I start reading:
I remember when I first got into fan fiction, and I read this Longmire fic on Quotev that was apparently x reader, but at the moment I didn't know that and kept wondering why the character was simply called Y/N.
so then I looked it up and realized it meant "Your name" and was like "oh ok, so we pick the name, hair color, eye color, etc. cuz the author was too lazy to pick all that."
Oops
I don't even like Y/n fics anymore anyways, but that was kind of funny.
I think the reason why Wattpad fanfics are usually so bad, (sloppy, looks like a nine year old wrote them, typos out the wazoo, cheesy plot, usually a cringe Y/N story) is because its so easy to just toss something onto Wattpad. don't get me wrong, I like the site, mostly just because I write from there and can organize everything better, its been a long time since I actually read anything from there but I did find a few good-quality reads. (never fanfic, always OG, for some reason people on there don't put much effort into their fics)
On AO3, however, it makes you like work for it. its a little more complicated, making you go through more tasks, so people put more effort in.
Honestly I've only run into one cheesy, sloppy fic on ao3, but usually they're good quality regardless of the media.
Or maybe ao3 is just what wattys graduate to, like its upper class fan fiction. who knows.
