Hi everyone, I have another Yoga With Kassandra recommendation. This one isn't a yoga flow, it's a 20 minute video where she explains emotional releases in the context of yoga and provides tools and techniques to help navigate and process them. She also heavily emphasizes the benefits of seeking therapy for those emotions and memories that may be triggered that we don't feel fully equipped to deal with.
Some key points I really like about this video are the way she talks about the total interconnectedness of the mind and body, and how language can be very limiting in trying to explain and parse physical, emotional, and mental experiences.
She also speaks openly about her own experiences with yoga and emotional release, and in general is very well spoken and compassionate as always. Definitely worth a watch if you're interested in learning about the link between yoga and strong emotions.

Yoga with Kassandra’s Flexible Body, Flexible Mind
For years already, 30-Day yoga challenges have been working incredibly well for me.
I love the structure, the sense of comfort the level of predictability and routine they offer, the taking away the guesswork when I get up first thing in the morning and I already know what I have to do. I love to compare my progress and see how the same poses feel differently on Day 1 and Day 30.
At the same time, I’ve learnt to be, well, more flexible! I don’t aim to do the 30 days in a row and beat myself up if I miss one day anymore. It’s more like aiming for 30 days of structured practice in the next few weeks. And that works really well for me. I’m also not ashamed to modify whatever is that I need to modify.
I started this particular challenge one year ago, almost to the date. I couldn’t finish it because my life started to fall apart and it was the beginning of what would be a really nasty divorce.
I’m in a much better place right now. I’m rising from the ashes of what was the most painful experience of my adult life. And I’m ready to tackle this challenge again, believing in myself, in the process of healing in different ways and pretty confident that I will be able to finish it this time 🙏🏼

totally, @ my ungodly # of followers pls recommend any good youtube channels for stretching/gentle activity that isn't on some nasty fatphobic shit
personally I will vouch for Yoga With Kassandra; she has a ton of quick & easy 10 minute wakeup stretches that are very beginner-friendly. 100% my go-to on days when I'm struggling to make myself get out of bed.

Living a witchy aligned life while having low spoons 🔮
Those who have low spoons understand how hard it can be to live a magickal life sometimes. Sometimes rituals don’t work out, it feels like too much to go through with a spell, or it’s just to hard to even stand that day. These are all entirely valid reasons for not practicing a witchy life! Sometimes it’s necessary for you to rest and allow yourself to have space. 🌸
For me I’ve found that having a few low spoon daily rituals help me feel a lot better throughout the day. ✨
Here’s a few methods I have:
🌸 Cleansing / Protection 🌸
Ways that I will perform a low spoon daily cleansing and protection will be while I’m getting ready for the day! 🔮 If I am not able to shower in the morning to wash away the energy I've picked up while sleeping, I'll instead envision myself cleansing my energy while I set my protection for the day.
🌱 Affirmations 🌱
While I am doing my skincare I like to say affirmations to myself! I worship Aphrodite and this is one way that I can use Glamour Magick as an offering to Aphrodite. ✨ By saying affirmations that are loving and manifesting an aligned life is just a small way that I am able to be witchy while low spoons.
🔮 Grounding Myself 🔮
This is such an important step for me to do in the mornings! I can do it just before I put on my shoes, while meditating, or even while getting ready for the day! This is such a simple way to feel connected to the Earth and Goddess! 💫
💧 Stirring intentions into my food and drink 💧
As a kitchen witch my favourite method to add low spoons witchcraft is through intentions! Am I making myself a tea to help for a sore throat? With intentions I can make this drink more soothing!* 🦋
I do this by stirring Widdershins (anti-clockwise: bringing in) and Deosil (clockwise: banishing)** while putting certain energy into my food or drink!
*I will post a recipe of this soon! ** This is for the Southern Hemisphere!
🌸 Checking in with my body and setting an intention 🌸
Every morning or evening (sometimes both!) I would do yoga and meditate afterwards. I would give myself this moment to gently wake up / wind down and to check in with how I was feeling. 🌙 I would also set an intention for the day. Nothing fancy either! Just a single word on how I wanted the day to go. My favourite YouTube yoga instructor is Kassandra! She is the person who inspired me to set my intentions for the day as she includes it in her practice. I really resonated with that and have been doing it ever since. 🦋
Since my injury I am unable to do yoga as it puts too much strain onto my body right now. So I've made adjustments to my practice and I now do my physio stretches and exercises when I can!
Being able to adjust your daily routine to what you can do is super important in your practice! It also helps with making it a habit which can be difficult! If you miss a day, don't stress. 💕 When you remember and if you are able to then get up and do it! Actively making the decision to do it is what's important with starting healthy habits. ✨

A daily review with a twinkle of optimism and softness is exactly what I need right now. As occurs often, I had a beautiful day and yet my brows are still furrowed in disapproval of myself, which I disallow. In fact, as soon as I began typing, my facial muscles relaxed and so I deduce that I am exactly where I need to be.
Last night, I cooked a Mexican feast for two friends and I think that it went tremendously. I feel quite humbled to spend time with these two people because they’re so funny, kind, and intelligent so I was particularly pleased to see that they were impressed by the dinner I made for them. I got some ginger ale and filled the glasses with fresh mint and lime wedges; I made a two bean chilli, my classic red onion and mint salsa, some rice and tortillas and salad, guacamole, and avocado (of course). There was just enough to feed me today as well and my friends seemed satisfied. In fact, one friend praised the evening to another friend this afternoon... so yes, I’m blushing.
This morning’s breakfast was perfect in every domain but one: I don’t have any avocado left to make it again tomorrow. This morning I did a yoga flow with Allie Van Fossen which was powerful enough to satisfy my morning restlessness; I had my wake-up treat of a double espresso with some warmed soya milk; I showered and put on a sleek dark-academic outfit (complete with heeled boots, light face-powder, and some perfume which I perceive to be a ‘clean’ scent). I felt good, and my booty was looking pretty good when I left the shower, too.
From 9am until noon, I was in the library and I was impressed with my productivity. I found a space which had the perfect temperature and level of noise and completed the Functional Analysis homework and a problems sheet.
After that, I returned home and chatted with my housemate Bethan in the kitchen, She really does light up my days and she was making a satisfying breakfast while I assembled some leftover [fajitas] from last night. Good for her.
In the early afternoon, I got my exam notesheet done for Number Theory, despite the beautiful sunshine tempting me outside, I finished just in time to meet with my friend and his friend to go for a walk and grab a matcha coconut latte. I’d like to be a matcha-drinking individual but the first matcha I ever tasted was incredibly bitter and this one just tasted of sweet coconut with a complementary bitter undertone so I don’t know what to believe.
I talked with my friend a lot during our walk and I just hope that he and his friend were entertained by my conversation. I hope that they felt they were listened to and treated with kindness and encouragement. I loved the walk we had and I feel slightly selfish for having taken their afternoons but it made me very happy. This is the root of my self-criticism this evening, I believe.
Getting home, I made a simple yet tasty meal of leftover rice with basa and veggies. The peas and sweetcorn makes me think this dish is quite childish but there’s nothing childish about ensuring your 5 a day and preventing foodwaste.
This evening, I wrote up half of my functional analysis homework and hope to do the rest first thing tomorrow. I concluded this task with a phd salted caramel protein shake (which would have been better if I’d had blended a banana into it as well) and one of Yoga with Kassandra’s evening sequences. Now, I will treat myself to a biopic before bed :) I look forward to good weather tomorrow and to seeing my parents.

Training into Romance
This is a modern Au with all assassins in modern times. Kadar is alive and mail has both arms. No one is dead.
You were a huge fan of assassins creed before actually joining the brotherhood. You had a massive Board on Pinterest. One day you were scrolling on Pinterest. You were curled up on on of the couches in the headquarters living room. Then you saw the pin.
It was Malik. He was shirtless and lying down. He still had pants on mind you but he had an almost suductive look on his face. Not mention the six pack and lean but muscular arms. You stared for a few minutes and your cheeks were pink.
“Hello, y/n” you looked up and saw your crush fully dressed and slightly smiling at you. Your eyes quickly widen and your turned off your phone and dashed out of the room in embarrassment.
Weird, he thought. She’s usally happy to see me. He walked into the dining area and found Kadar, Desmond and Ezio eating some popcorn.
Does… y/n seem strange to you lately? He asked.
Kadar turned his head. “is she sick? “His ocean blue eyes open wide with concern. “No…. She’s just acting strange. “Malik replied. “In what way mi amico?” Asked Ezio mouth full with a popcorn. “ she keeps dashing from me when we used to be good freinds. Her face is always pink when she does it.” Malik frowned. “Is she afraid of me?” Ezio and Dezmond stopped chewing immediately and glanced at each other with a smirk. Desmond spoke first: “ oh it’s anything but that….”
-Meanwhile-
You finally went to the home theater room. You stopped to catch your breath. Kassandra was there. “Hey y/n what’s wrong?” You haul yourself over to the sofa where she was sitting. “Well…. Can you keep a secret?” You ask, hesitant to tell her. “Sure” she replied smoothly. “ don’t judge but I have a crush on Malik.” You said blushing red.She smirked “ oh so that’s why you keep avoiding him. Why you just ask him out?” Questioned your freind. What?? Nope!! He will Probly reject me! I’m weird!”

What wait? Malik was so confused. Desmond chuckled. Do you have feeling for y/n? Malik blushed pink, “….yes she’s so beautiful and sweet.” Kadar chipped in “ you should tell her! She’d be so happy!” Malik covered his face as his blush deepened. “What? How do I do that??” Ezio smirked, “don’t worry Malik I’ll be your wingman. They don’t call me the rizz master for nothing. Here’s the plan…”
15 min later.
Kassandra had left the room. You were still on the sofa collecting your thoughts. Then Ezio walked in. You turned around to face him. “Oh hey Ezio, what’s up?” Ezio smiled at you. “Not much, Malik wanted me to ask you to join him for training today.” Oh, um I’ll meet him then thanks!” You slowly get up and make your way to the training zone outside.
The sun would set soon. Your walk outside to find Malik in a secluded corner. You had also switched clothes to a T-shirt and shorts. He was wearing a hoodie and a pair of jeans.“Hello Habibti. “You were so confused. That wasn’t your name. And then you remember what that word meant: darling. “Hello… Malik….. you respond quietly. “Let’s begin stretching.”
You found a spot on the ground and began doing yoga like stretches.
Mailk then tore off the hoodie. You glanced at him. Then he slowing pulled off his shirt and your mouth dropped. He looked even bigger than the fanart. You were blushing hard.. and then he tossed his shirt in front of you.
He then dropped to the ground. He was doing one armed push ips in front of you. Then he got up and offered you a hand. You took it, still dumbfounded about this whole thing. He pulled you up with his right hand and midway he wrapped his left arm around your waist. He pulled you close and smiled. He then let both of his hands rest on your hips. You don’t know what overcame you but you placed your hands on his back.
“ Y/n, I did not asked for you to come here to train,” you eyes widen but you say nothing. He then moves his hands. His left hand on the middle of your back and his right up to your face. He swished a few locs of your h/c hair out of your face. And then brought it to cup your cheek. “Y/n I’m in love with you. Do you feel the same?” I do! You stammered out.
The sun sat in the sky as you shared your very first kiss with your new boyfriend.
