🌙Simple Everyday Things You Can Do For Protection

What are some simple things that you do that you think would help another witch?

🌙My list of daily or easy practices requires little to no prep-work

•Use a protection plant ally like a witch's burr, cloves, thorns, motherwort, black pepper, garlic, or onion. Close your eyes and place your plant ally in your hands. Ask the spirit of the plant if they will offer you protection to see you through the day. Carry it with you.

•Alternatively, you can also use crystals. My go to combo is black tourmaline and red jasper!

•Use a protection archetype tarot card like the Nine of Wands. Nine of Wands, for myself, symbolizes boundaries and protection when it comes to our growth/life path. Place it on your altar with intention since it is a portal to our intentions, our guides, and the liminal, or carry on your person.

•Smoke cleanse the thresholds in your home, yourself, and your loved ones. I personally like rosemary and lavender for this purpose.

•As you leave an offering for your guides/ancestors/deities during your daily conversation with them ask them for their help when it comes to protection.

•Write the word protection or a symbol of protection on a black candle with intention and light.

Harnessing the Moon's Energy 🌙🔮 The moon's energy is a potent source of magic that can amplify our intentions and manifestations. By meditating under the moonlight or charging our tools in its glow, we draw in lunar energy to infuse our craft with heightened power.

Lunar Rituals and Esbats 🌌🕯️ Esbats, the rituals performed during the Full Moon, are perfect opportunities to honor the moon's influence and work on releasing what no longer serves us. From moonlit gatherings to solitary ceremonies, these rituals provide a sense of connection and transformation.

Moon Water and Moon Bathing 🌊🛀 Moon water, charged under the moon's rays, is a versatile tool for cleansing, charging, and enhancing our spells. Additionally, basking in moonlight during moon bathing offers a deeply spiritual and rejuvenating experience.

Setting Intentions with Moon Journaling 📝🌠 Keeping a moon journal allows us to reflect on our experiences during each moon phase, track our emotional and spiritual growth, and set new intentions with every cycle.

''One swallow does not make a spring.'' Keep on tight dear friends and enemies, the last weeks of winter slip away with catalyzing star aspects leading towards the Solar Eclipse. Through many folklore traditions winter is a time of introspection, letting go, rotting, death, and decay, of gathering energy for the Spring. Even though in some areas, the first heralds of Spring are already blooming, Nature reminds us with her skeletal visage of naked branches that Life is yet to fully sprout and burst forth, not all snow has melted, and not all of the birds have flown back. Eerie, liminal, and a truly fitting atmosphere for the month of the sign of Pisces, the sign who most of all, dances on the boundaries between worlds, between Life and Death, embrace the time to let go of what need to go, before heading into a new cycle, with Spring and the Sun entering Aries.

Today, we have a square aspect between Venus and Uranus (March 3, 2024, 1:17 pm GMT), squares often bring difficulties, delays, and strains, how they manifest can be read by the signs and planets involved, and the ''where'' is determined by the houses it occurs in your chart. This diabolical square can bring unexpected expenses, especially related to technology and devices, the other side of the coin of this aspect is unexpected income, again depending on how it falls in your chart. Relationships are also in the terrain of this aspect and planets, again expect the unexpected, this is a time of change, situations that are wake-up calls, of breaking points, and beginnings of new relations. Focusing on the future and more humanitarian, innovative topics can get you on the good side of this transit, holding on to the past and things that have no strong foundations will be shaken up, let alone by Uranus and Venus, but also some other aspects.

People will be like "nah I don't believe in witches and magic and all that woowoo stuff" and then keep a polite distance after finding out I'm a witch.
