𝚓𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗 lives for a good cuddle, hes a total cuddle bug it doesn't matter if he's big or little spoon or whatever position yalls are in he is content with whatever. However his favorite cuddles is probably when he's high as a kite curled into you arms, he is in heaven

𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 is the definition of "hold me pls", for him being held makes him feel safe and secure in any position involving him in your arms, doesn't matter if it's you spooning him or him curled up again your chest with your arms wrapped around him. he just feels so happy & safe

𝚋𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚢 surprisingly enough loves being held, being the little spoon for him it's a great source of comfort, especially after any fights with his dad. he usually is laying on your chest or tummy as you watch a movie and run your fingers through his hair.

𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚟𝚎 likes when you facing each other, legs intertwine and wrapped up in each other's arms, he likes he can pretty much have access to your lips wherever he wants a kiss or two vice versa, has a weird habit of just staring at you, admiring you thinking about how grateful he is to have you

𝚎𝚍𝚍𝚒𝚎 loves cuddling doesn't matter the position or place he's down to cuddle pretty much anywhere. though he loves curling up in your arms, and if you run your hand(s) through his hair he's out like a light he's just so content and happy, if he happens to be high he will cling onto like an octopus and not let go at all

Will Byers x Male!Reader (Hopper is the father figure to Reader, but not like Eleven- he's just the only parental role you have in your life)

Something to know about me- I hate being sad so I avoid angst if I can. Which is one of the reasons why I am terrified for tonight when vol. 2 comes out...

For that reason- this oneshot is set in season 3, I need some nostalgia before I get hit with this

You and Will had been going out for a couple of months now and you were both incredibly happy

Your loved ones supported you

Strangers didn't, but why did they matter?

Honestly everyone just wanted the two of you safe and happy.

That's why when you go on dates Hopper trails along.

He thinks you don't notice, but you do

Ever since you had gotten together Joyce had voiced her concern for you two to Hopper

So he decided to keep an eye on you

(Let's be honest, he was going to do it whether Joyce said something or not)

You were basically his son- and even if you weren't, he still felt responsible for you

And if anyone laid a hand on you, man, watch out

So when you came to visit the Byers' house after school to meet with Will while Hopper was over

And you were covered with bruises and cuts

Blood, sweat, and tears caused by something other than "hard work"

You should have seen Hopper's face.

It was redder than when he yelled at Eleven to keep the door 3 inches open when Mike was over

You had knocked, even though you didn't need to.

You had a key, Joyce had given one to you years ago

Walking into the kitchen you could see Hopper, Joyce, Jonathan, and Will sitting at the table

Joyce and Will had jumped up when they saw you

And offered you a seat at the table

Which you took

They all shouted questions at you while Joyce patched you up

"It was nothing," you say

"Just some kid."

"'Just some kid?'" Hopper would shout back.

He and Jonathan would threaten to find the kid and beat him to a pulp

But the three of you would convince them not too

"I'm fine, really."

And you were

You would take anything as long as it meant being with Will

Other than those parts of your relationship everything else would be bliss

Watching movies (Jonathan joining sometime, man that guy seems a little lonely)

Drawing together

Trying to draw each other and then laughing at the drawings

Joyce teaching you how to cook

Hanging out as a couple with him and his group of friends

You'd team up and convince them all to play DnD just like you used to

They would have your back.

If anything happened, you knew you wouldn't be alone

Because they were your family

Your favorite moments were the quiet ones, alone with Will

Holding his hand as you laid on his bed in the afternoon, cuddling

The window open and the hot air and sun filtering in

You would look into his eyes for hours

Running your fingers through his hair

Or watching him draw

Or listening to music together

Then everything happened.

Synopsis: As Valentine's day is approaching, you notice a few notes in your locker, and you want to know who's writing them.

Warnings: None :)

A/N: English is not my first language, don't hesitate to point out my mistake so I can get better at writing (and english in general lol). I hope you'll enjoy this fic!

You're staring at the folded sheet in front of you, laying on top of your books. You stood there, completely frozen, your hand halfway between the locker door and the books. 'What the hell is this?' you thought. Frowning your eyebrows, you hesitantly took it and looked both ways before slowly opening it. You stared at the messy -but still pretty- handwriting on the paper, letters forming words, then lines, you figured it was a whole letter. Again, you looked both ways before leaning forward to your locker, making sure no one could read it, though nobody cared enough to try. You began to read each line on the sheet and your cheeks grew redder and redder as you kept reading. The text was a poem about you.

You read it at least three times to be sure you correctly understood what it was about. Yes, it was a four paragraphs long poem about your eyes, your smile, your voice, your laugh...

But before you could get lost in your own head by thinking about who could have written this, the school bell rang in your ears and all the students began hurrying to their classroom. You folded the sheet again and put it in your pocket then slammed your locker's door shut. You walked to your classroom and settled down for your first period. A few seconds later, your friend Jane sat beside you and smiled to you. "Hi [Y/N]! How are you?" she asked. "Hi Jane, I'm good, how about you?" you answered. "Are you sure? You look kind of upset." You felt your cheeks heat up and looked down at your hands, "have you asked someone to be your Valentine and she said no?" she asked. You almost choked on your own saliva and took a few seconds to think of a reaction. Your actual crush was a boy, and her brother to add to that. How could you answer anything else than a heartfelt: "No!"

Your conversation with Jane got cut off by the teacher and class began. When first period ended, you moved to another classroom, doodling in your book during classes was much more interesting than paying attention and this morning was as normal as it could possibly be. Honestly, everything was boring to you today. Even your lunch. You packed your favorite meal this morning and you weren't willing to finish it, it tasted nothing special today. You moved from the cafeteria to your locker to prepare your stuff for the next classes. When you opened the door, another folded paper fell to the ground. You grabbed it rapidly like you were afraid it would burn as soon as it touched the ground. You carefully unfolded it and hid behind your locker door to read the little note. This time it wasn't a text but a messy sketch of you in class. You were the only thing drawn on this paper and the more you stared at it, the redder your cheeks got. Even if the sketch was kind of messy, it was really pretty. The artist caught every feature of your face.

As you were walking outside, you couldn't help but feel really embarrassed for that person. Your heart was already taken and you didn't want to get into a relationship with anyone else, but it didn't seem like he had a crush on you too. You sighed and looked around to see if you could find your friends. You then saw Jane's gestures to catch your attention and walked to her and Will. You sat with them in the grass.

The whole afternoon, you could feel your heart racing in your chest, jumping slightly every time someone called your name. You felt very anxious and couldn't wait for the day to end. When it was finally time to go home, you stopped by your locker to grab a few things for your homework, and when you opened it, you saw a little paper on top of your books. You took it in your hand to read it. It was small and the message was written with thick black letters, probably with a marker. It was a rendezvous. You figured you could go to at least see who it was.

You closed your locker and began to walk to the place indicated on the note. You thought you would just let them talk and then turn them down gently. Whoever it was, you hoped they wouldn't cry, feeling guilty for hurting their feelings. You walked almost ten minutes to an isolated classroom on the other side of the school. You almost got lost in the corridors since you went rarely there but you found the right classroom. You took a deep breath and pushed the door open with your shaky hands. You looked up and you felt like your heart stopped for a second.

He was standing in front of you, fidgeting with his fingers, with red cheeks and a shy smile.

Will.

"Hi," he said with a shy smile while you stood there, dumbfounded. You stayed silent for a moment, Will's smile fading away more and more as seconds passed. When you noticed, you wanted to say something to reassure him, "I... I'm surprised, uh... You left things in my locker, right?" The boy in front of you nodded, "yeah... I know it's a bit weird but, hum..."

"No it's not!" you exclaimed immediately, "I mean, not to me at least... To be honest I was afraid it would be someone else..." you nervously scratched your neck, feeling your cheeks heat up as you realised what you just said. "What..?" Will asked. "Yeah, uh, on my way here I was mentally preparing myself to reject some girl and I was already so uncomfortable-" you stopped talking and put your hand on your face, closing your eyes, "I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm saying that," you walked towards Will, sitting on a desk in front of him. "But it's you," you said with a shrug, smiling at him.

Will laughed, his cheeks reddening lightly. "Does that mean you're willing to listen to me?" You turned your head to him, "yes, I'm listening." Your friend looked at you for less than a second before deflecting his gaze. He started fidgeting with a pen he was holding in his hands, "s-so... I didn't really know how to tell you this, that's why I put the notes in your locker. But, you're the only friend I have here, and uh... For me you're not just a friend, you know? I-I like you. Like, a lot. As in I want to go out with you, a-and I want to be your boyfriend... If you like me that way too, that is..."

When Will looked at you again, he saw your incredulous expression. You were slowly nodding repeatedly, your hands on your crimson cheeks in an attempt to hide them. "... Really?" you asked (rhetorically). You couldn't believe it, even in your dreams you didn't think about Will confessing to you that way, he was significantly cuter at this instant, and you weren't sure of why. "Yes, really," you looked up to see him a bit confused, you forgot you talked out loud. "I- Yes, of course! Yes I like you that way too, and I want to be your boyfriend!" you said with a wide smile, getting up from the desk you were sitting on. You approached Will with open arms. He smiled and hugged you tightly. You could feel his heartbeat against your chest.

You tenderly kissed his cheek, still a bit unused to be this close to him. "I'm so glad it was you who left these notes."

Will Byers x Male!Reader (Platonic relationship with Steve and Robin- kinda like older siblings :))

OH- I headcanon Steve as bisexual so he's going to have gay experience like Robin :D

Warnings: Swearing, slight internalized homophobia (just scared of rejection from his crush and friends), etc?

(This'll be based in season 3, so (Y/N), Steve, and Robin will be at Scoops Ahoy)

(Y/N) was lost in thought as he followed his friends through the busy mall. It was a surprise he hadn't gotten lost from them yet. As he tuned back into the frantic conversation his friends were having, (Y/N) groaned and rolled his eyes.

"We're broke- this is incredibly hard to do," Mike complained. He was trying to find a "make-up" gift for Eleven after making her upset. Mike wouldn't shut up about how Hopper threatened him and shit, and normally (Y/N) would care but he was dealing with his own problems.

"Hey, guys, good luck on your search. I'm going to go..." his voice trailed off as he caught sight of Scoops Ahoy, "get some ice cream! See 'ya."

As he went to walk away Will swiftly turned and caught onto his wrist, a look of concern set on his features.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine, don't worry about me. You stay here, Mike needs all the help he can get," (Y/N) dismissed, scoffing at Mike and walking away.

And with that he stepped foot on the tile of the bright shop, a few customers sitting at booths but overall an escape from the large crowd behind him. Walking up to the counter he observed all of the ice cream names, not really comprehending any of it.

"(L/N)!" Steve cheered, coming out from the back with Robin as they both looked at him.

"You usually aren't this excited to see me," (Y/N) mumbled, raising an eyebrow at the two energy filled young adults.

"Well, we're bored, to tell you the truth. And you're a familiar face, so..." Robin shrugged and flipped the scoop in her hand. "What can I getcha'?"

"Uhm... chocolate?" you asked, still seemingly in a daze.

Steve and Robin shared a look before she scooped your ice cream and handed it to you. Both of them walked out from behind the counter as you tried to look for the money you had in your pockets.

"No, no, no, it's on the house, bud," Steve reassured, throwing his arm around (Y/N)'s shoulders and turning him around, sitting him down in a booth nearby as Robin put up a sign telling customers they weren't there.

"Wha-" (Y/N) grunted in confusion as he was suddenly trapped in the round booth, Steve and Robin blocking his ways out.

"What's up, doofus?" Robin asked with thinly veiled concern. Steve nodded and held his hands in front of him like a father lecturing his child.

"I- well, there's no use in denying it. It's all so stupid, though," (Y/N) sighed defeatedly, licking his ice cream dejectedly.

"Well, spill it," Steve encouraged, getting a bit impatient.

"It's Will. I-I know we've always been close, best friends, even closer than with the others. But... I don't know, it feels... different."

"What kind of different?" Steve asked, eyebrow raised.

"Like... Steve and I's kind of different, or like..." Robin gestured vaguely in the air without finishing her sentence.

(Y/N) bit his lip as he looked at the two. "I think... like your kind of different."

Steve let out a light laugh, "You've got a thing for the Byers kid?"

He flushed red, choosing to pay more attention to his ice cream then the conversation.

"That's nothing to be embarrassed about- I'm just not sure how I didn't see it." Robin shrugged.

"Yeah, well, hopefully no one noticed."

"Would it be such a bad thing if they did?" Steve asked, resting his head against his propped up fist.

"I don't know... my friends, they're all girl crazy. Maybe they wouldn't want to hang out anymore if they knew I wasn't as interested as they were... Plus- if Will-"

"I'm gonna stop you right there, pal, Will is most definitely gay," Robin interrupted, Steve nodding along as if it was common knowledge.

"Wait- really?" (Y/N) asked, perking up in interest.

"Think about it, is he as 'girl crazy' as your other friends?" Steve added, taking off his hat and sitting it on (Y/N)'s head.

"No..."

"But you wanna know what we think?" Robin asked as she took his hand, looking him in the eyes.

"What do you think?"

"That Will Byers is most definitely (Y/N) (L/N) crazy," she teased, patting him on the cheek as Steve put an arm around him in a side hug.

"And that DnD game you guys play. Kid won't stop telling me about it." Steve looked slightly confused as he remembered the pain of trying to comprehend his conversations with the boy.

(Y/N) laughed and licked his ice cream, taking a deep breath as he looked at his two friends.

"I guess you're right."

"You guess? Of course we're right! We're all-knowing!" Robin dramatically stood up and spun around, looking at him with a "duh" face.

(Y/N) snorted, sliding out of the booth and throwing Steve his hat back.

"Thanks for the advice and ice cream, guys!" (Y/N) started to walk away, sticking his hand in his pocket.

"Where are you going?" Steve shouted to him, standing next to Robin.

"To shoot my shot!" (Y/N) shouted back, smiling at them.

Part One

Will Byers x Male!Reader

Warnings: Swearing, Mentions of Blood

I'll just be going over a bit of your life in Cali, then Mike coming to visit, yada yada. Also- date night at the skating rink on Will's birthday

When you moved to Cali, you obviously lived with the Byers

Where else would you have gone?

Your dad was still in Hawkins (basically half-dead)

And your mother had died years ago

He hadn't given a rats ass about you leaving

Joyce made a strict rule about the separate rooms, though

Not that the two of you minded

Often times you would break them; or at least the ones about sneaking in to the other's room at night

When the nightmares got too bad

And Will would wake up in a cold sweat

He'd tiptoe his way into your room

And slide under the covers

You'd wake up with flickering eyes

Take one look at him

And wrap him in your arms

That's when he felt most at peace;

In your arms.

Jonathan had noticed the late night escapades

But said nothing

He knew you weren't getting up to anything

And he was just glad his brother had someone to hold him

Especially when he was high off his rocker

It had taken you a long time to get over Hopper's death

Of course it was the same for Eleven

But you two would barely look at each other some days

The tension of your shared grief of a father figure

Eleven once screamed at you, tears running down her face

Shouting that he was her dad

Not yours

You shouldn't even be feeling sad

Because he didn't care for you as much as he cared for her.

You took it with a blank face

Tears gathering in your eyes.

When Joyce had finally managed to calm her she collapsed in her arms

Bawling and crying

You were positive her voice would be sore

You left the room

Entered your own

And closed the door.

You stared at a painting Will had made for you

Just for you.

You cherished this painting.

It was Hopper's badge surrounded by flowers

Beautiful, beautiful flowers

It reminded you of him, and that's all you had wanted.

As you stared at it, the tears finally fell.

Will entered and held you, rocked back and forth

He sniffled back his own tears

You and Eleven had never really gotten over that fight.

Little did you know she regretted it everyday

Just never got the courage to say anything about it

When Mike came he went to Eleven first

Giving her the flowers

Dressed like he just walked out of the circus

Next he embraced you and Will at the same time

Content smiles decorating each of your faces

A trio once again united.

Eleven immediately dragged him away

You wrapped an arm around Will

Jonathan and Argyle glaring at people who threw odd looks your way

"We can show him later."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Will held the painting in his hands, yours joining his

And show him later you did!

Before dinner you all went to Will's room

You pulled the painting out of its case

Explaining how it was the party that started it all

"Will did most of it, but I did this part right here!"

You pointed to a corner of the painting

(which was noticeably less good as the rest of it)

Mike smiled and thanked you both

Saying how excited he was to show the boys when he got back home

He hadn't talked to you as much as he did El

But you were just glad deep down he was still that little boy

Who stood up to bullies

And almost jumped off a cliff for his friends

During dinner Mike told you all stories from Hawkins

And needless to say: you all were homesick

"Maybe we could visit?" Joyce offered

You gulped back your fears

You knew the second you stepped foot out of the car you'd miss Hopper more than ever

But you pretended to like the idea

Not wanting to damper everyone's mood.

Jonathan and Argyle dropped you all off at the skating rink

"You sure you don't want me to come in with you?"

Jonathan sent a meaningful glance at you and Will

"We'll be fine- go have fun!" you insisted

You rolled around the rink holding hands with Will

Playing it off as you didn't know how to skate

And needed the support of a friend (wink, wink)

Looking up into Will's eyes, you smiled

"What?" he asked.

"Here-"

You pulled off to the side of the rink and let him follow

Pulling out a tiny box you handed it to him

God, it was annoying trying to pretend to be "bros"

Will opened it and saw a ring

"A promise ring," you explained.

"Happy birthday."

"You've already said that so many times-"

"And I'll say it a thousand more."

You both picked up on El's weird before at the airport

But now it was just downright concerning

You both tried to convince Mike that she was lying

That's when Angela and her friends played wipe-out with El

All of you looked around for her after she ran away

Just to find her holding a bloody skate

With a terrified and bleeding Angela below her

That night's dinner was awkward

Especially with the two high young adults across from you four

Joyce announced she was going to Alaska

And that's when you started to have a feeling

...Maybe Hopper was still alive...
