I keep seeing this fanart going around about how the respective Robin's teammates reacted to Batman making contingency plans. No hate the artist obviously and I love fandom. but if you want to know how it really went down this post is for you. 👇

Tim Drake was the Robin during this time, so it's just Young Justice, I'm not sure if or how the Titans reacted cus I haven't read them yet. Also to note, these are from a time in comics where Lex Luther was President of the USA and Young Justice was fighting in a intergalactic war as basically being medics.

Tim DOES NOT HAVE FILES ON THEM! He says himself, cus they're his FRIENDS not associates. Over all a running theme for Tim is him NOT being like Batman, so he trusts his friends.

Now on my opinion yeah friendship and all but I agree with Anita. How many superheros have been mind controlled, cloned, infected with a mind altering substance, doesn't it help to have a plan for that? You SHOULD have a plan for this! Better to be prepared and never need it then to need it and never planed.

gabriel enriches v1 by showing it positive physical contact.

for v1 the contact between its body and someone else's means damage. hardened by battle, and a programming that prioritizes the worst of the worst outcomes to guarantee it's succees in combat, v1 has a hard time processing a positive input at getting touched in a tender way.

at the beginning v1 is defensive, aggressive, even erratic when gabriel tries to touch its chasis.

however, chasing rewarding feedback is in its nature. so when v1 finally assimilates that whenever gabriel engages physical contact with it (and considering some conditions such as if the angel has a relaxed posture or if he closes the gap between them slowly - a worldless question-) it simply gets addicted to that and ignores gabriel's personal space altogether in order to get more. it simply feels nice when its sensors tingle so vividly at gabriel's warmth and focuses on textures.

from the way the joints of his fingers mold around its surface to the pulse hidden within.
