Watching ST1 and surprised by just how much Nancy lies. She lies even when she has no reason to, like when she's hanging out with Steve and his friends and wants to leave, she could have easily said something like "I need to do something" or "I'm tired" but she made up some excuse about her mom. When asking Barb's mom about Barb, she could have easily told her she was worried but she didn't. Girl just lies like it's second nature to her.

Who would say "I love you" first, between rob and nancy?

Nancy absolutely trauma dumped about not being able to say I love you, and Robin didn’t want to put any pressure on her so she held back on saying it until Nancy did. But Nancy also didn’t wanna say it until she was sure Robin loved her back so for ages they got stuck where both of them wanted to but didn’t until Robin blurts it out and makes Nancy so so happy and she says it back way quicker than Robin thought she would

At some point in your friends au can we get The One with the Trifle I don’t know who would be who but I still think it would be funny

I have finally figured out who is who, and this is the longest post I have written for these. Therefore, it will be in two parts. Part one is being posted tomorrow and part two on Thursday.

Let me set the scene.

Robin is not that great in the kitchen, but means well, so she is the one who mixes up the two recipes and makes the trifle.

Steve, who normally makes a backup dessert in case Robin's experiment fails, couldn't because he was out on a date.

Eddie witnessed Robin mixing up the two recipes and warned Steve about it.

Nancy is super stressed out about the meal anyway, and is mad at Steve for making a situation where Robin is going to be upset.

Jonathan and Argyle are getting high to hopefully be able to stomach eating the beef trifle.

Need more Robin with internalized homophobia. Robin being so defeated she won't even think poorly of people who reject her because she sees it as such a natural thing for them to be disgusted by her. Robin who won't tell people she likes women because she doesn't want to make them uncomfortable. Robin who can't bring herself to say the words "lesbian" or "girlfriend", not even to herself, because she hates the pitiful way in which they sound in her mouth, like she's putting a target on her back, like she's embarrassing herself. Robin taking a long time before she can talk about girls and express her feelings around Steve, because it's so new to her, the idea that she can be fully herself with someone, and part of her restrains her because she doesn't want to cross a line. Robin who won't touch Nancy after telling her the truth because she doesn't want to scare her, even though she only sees her as a friend (to Nancy's dismay but that's for another day) and touch is just one of her love languages. She likes holding hands with her friends and invading their personal space, but nowadays she won't even look at Nancy in the eye, scared to seem predatory, or to treat her like a man would. Robin hating herself when she obsesses over a girl's body, feeling disgustingly boyish.
