With Vil Schoenheit, everything was supposed to be perfect. He did everything to the best of his ability and never slacked off, even when corners could be cut. Today, your birthday, was yet another day when the entirety of Pomfiore dorm was following those principles.

An invitation, delivered to you by none other than Epel, coaxes you from the confines of Ramshackle. The morning air is chilly, but with Epel by your side and the smile on his face, you find that you’re not cold. Once you reach Pomfiore, the bright, shining doors open like the gates of heaven, and you’re hit with warmth and the smell of good food.

Vil greets you by the door, the first one in line to wish you a happy birthday. There’s a gentle smile on his face as he raises his arms, purple fabric draping from his arms like the leaves of a willow tree. You fall into him as easily as the wind rustling the branches, and he encases you in a hug that smells like warmth and expensive cologne.

A kiss is pressed just behind your ear, an action hidden from the rest of the room. Your breath catches in your throat as you tense, but you can feel him smile into your skin at your embarrassment. What a tease he can be.

“Happy birthday, my dear.” he pulls away and yet keeps holding you close, the spot he kissed tingling under his lidded gaze, “I do hope you will enjoy today.”

The decorations were chosen carefully and tailored to suit your tastes. Rook was at the forefront of this, swooning about how your favorite colors were shades of beauty, rivaling gems and stars, and when blended together, they were lovely, just like you.

When you arrive, Rook watches you hug Vil with tears in his eyes. It’s a beautiful display of affection on a day that is entirely yours, and for you to choose them to spend it with has his heart beating out of his chest. He almost bursts from pure, unbridled joy when you break away from Vil and gaze upon him, your eyes wondrous and mysterious.

Rook sweeps his arms out, a wide grin on his face as he takes you in. There’s a small lipstick mark left by Vil, but Rook elects to leave it unnoticed. Nobody in the room is as observant as he is anyway, which is why he notices the straightening of your back and the shimmering in your eyes and the way your lips twitch when you run to him.

It’s a beautiful thing, when you collide. His hat is knocked off his head as he catches you, arms far stronger than many give him credit for. Your legs swing up into the air at the force of your hug, arms thrown around his shoulders as your face is tucked into the crook of his neck.

“Oh, my darling Trickster.” he croons, helping you stay balanced as you find your way back to the ground, “There has never been a more beautiful day.”

How would the first years sees a female yuu practice ballet in a empty classroom that supposed to be abandoned? How would their reaction would be?

If you guys haven’t seen the movie “Leap!” (also known as “Dance!”), I highly recommend watching it since it involves ballet and I really enjoyed watching it! Equestrian vaulting is also absolutely stunning to watch in action, which in a way looks like a mix of gymnastics and ballet. I’ve never done ballet before, but I once did equestrian vaulting when I went to horseback riding camp years ago. It was fun—if a little nerve-wracking doing it on the back of one of the largest horse breeds the stable owned. Good times though! Would attempt again! :D

Grim was already aware of Yuu’s skill as a ballet dancer, having seen her dance whenever they clean the dorm. From using the tips of her toes to spin and swipe across the tiled floors to the jumps and leaps she made to reach high places without landing heavily, Grim would watch it in awe. More than once he has stopped whatever he’s doing to watch, especially when music is playing. The soft melodies and fluid movements would make him sway almost hypnotically in place, while the quick tempos and swift movements got his blood pumping as he bounced and tried to dance along—even if it wound up with him tripping up the first few times, but he learned! 

His favorite moments are the times when she would scoop him into her arms and dance with him, feeling as though he were lighter than air. Who needs a broom when he had Yuu? It was the best thing ever for the Great Grim’s human henchman to be so talented if he said so!

Of course, when it came to explaining Yuu’s ability to the other freshmen, words failed to convey just how impressive her dancing skills were and none of the others had ever seen her dance. None of the videos that Ace found online could match her grace or the flexibility she demonstrated--until he finally had enough and demanded they follow him: “I know where she likes to go practice during breaks!”

And so, thinking it was just another tall tale from the chimera, the other first years agreed to follow him for the time being and out of pure curiosity. When they drew closer to the unoccupied auditorium, however, they began to hear…music. “Shh…be quiet, or she’ll stop,” Grim warned them in a hushed whisper, turning to carefully nudge the door open wide enough for everyone to peer inside without exposing themselves.

Whatever quip Ace had in store died on his lips as he stared, watching as Yuu’s legs bent before she raised one high up in the air while balancing on the tip of her other leg, her arms stretched out in a graceful “L” shape. Somehow, she looked as still as a statue, making him wonder just how strong her legs were to be able to hold that pose. “Whoa…how is she even doing that?” he uttered in amazement, watching her smoothly transition into a slow sweeping twirl.

“Guys, if she’s dancing alone in a classroom, she may not want us to watch,” Deuce whispered, the centaur momentarily wincing when he saw her legs bend in ways he knew he could never pull off without injuring himself. Still, he couldn’t look away, his eyes watching intently as he eventually asked, “Can…humans really move like that?”

“Her movements are so fluid,” Jack commented, ears twitching as he found himself relaxing. There was something soothing about seeing her dance so gracefully, yet even from here he could see the power in her movements—restrained, yet clear as day with each step and twirl and bend and high kick. “Is this some form of martial arts from the human world?”

“Naw…it looks like tha’ ballet thin’ Vil—I mean…it looks like the ballet Vil has me and the other first years practice in the ball room,” Epel commented. As much as he hated being forced to do it…he found that it looked different watching Yuu perform. He knew he’d never be able to do half the movements she could with the way his legs were designed—but there was also a certain satisfaction in realizing that even Vil wouldn’t be able to mimic the same fluid grace or expect the same out of the others.

When a new song began to play, a gasp escaped Sebek before Jack and Epel covered his mouth. Though it was hard for them to not feel just as stunned the moment Yuu leapt atop the desks, spinning and jumping up from desk to desk in time to the rhythm until she reached the highest point. Her body moved with a grace and power that he’d never seen before, her expression—though calm—betraying the smile on her face as she continued her performance for the imaginary crowd. At one point she stopped, her back towards the door as she stood and shuffled backwards on the tips of her toes. Before he or the others could warn her how close she was to the edge of the desk—she leapt!

Time seemed to slow down, her body rising high in the air as—with her legs bent and curved—she spun in the air before straightening her legs out into an impossible split, soaring through the air. Then—as if lighter than a feather—she landed right in front of the podium at the very bottom and stood straight just as the music stopped, turning and bowing gracefully at the “audience”.

“Whoa!! That was amazing!” Deuce exclaimed.

Yuu gasped as she turned towards the doors, her face showing clear embarrassment and shock as she squeaked out, “Wha-? Deuce?!”

“Oops!” Deuce uttered, hands clamped over his mouth as he realized just how loud he’d actually been.

“Scramble!!” Ace yelled.

“Guys!!!” Yuu screeched as they bolted. “Get back here!!”

Soon enough word spread around about Yuu’s dancing prowess, and it wasn’t long after that Cater and the others would come asking for a demonstration of this performance as well. After all, human dancing hasn’t been recorded in centuries—it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to observe (and record) such practices and seeing how humans could move! If Yuu has any knowledge on other forms of traditional dance, it would become a treasure trove of cultural knowledge to unlock and study the significance of the moves and the traditional garments worn by dancers!

<incorporate more “canon” terms into my translations> what about terms such as "madol", "magical wheel", "magift" and "doodle Suit"? these are all terms changed in official EN but the VA lines stayed the same. so in this case, which one is considered canon? personally, i'd stick to the VA lines but idk 🤔 its kinda confusing because EN makes no sense in these cases ;v;

I feel you! It's taken some time for me to get used to the EN names, especially since, as you've pointed out, we hear the JP terms from the voice actors. So, it may still be a while before I can comfortably use all of the EN terms, but I want to make sure my sentences flow a bit more smoothly. I'll use the words you listed as examples, since I haven't truly thought out each difference yet:

Madol/Thaumark: I've already started incorporating notes on the Thaumark amount whenever I translate something in Madol. I know I still prefer Madol, but Thaumarks differs by 2 orders of magnitude (100 Madol = 1 Thaumark), so I try to comment on both.

Magical Wheel/Blastcycle: To be perfectly honest, I think Blastcycle is a really cool word. I'm still partial to Magical Wheel, but this will probably be one of the easier ones for me to convert to.

Magical Shift (Magift)/Spelldrive: This one is a bit difficult, because I like the term Magical Shift, but I'm not as partial to the shortened form Magift because my brain automatically wants to use a hard g sound. My final decision on this term will probably happen when Leona, Ruggie, and Epel get their Club Wear cards, since the club name is written in English on their pre-groovy card image.

Unique Magic/Signature Spell: Deuce, Trey, Jamil, and Epel all had their Signature Spell name changed from their Unique Magic name. "Bet the Limit" became "Double Down," "Doodle Suit" became "Paint the Roses," "Snake Whisper" became "Snake Charmer," and "Sleep Kiss" became "Crimson Sleep." Trey and Jamil's are actually still accurate to the original kanji. Epel's Signature Spell is a mix of his Unique Magic (Sleep Kiss) and the original kanji (Crimson Fruit). On this one, I know I do want to keep the original Unique Magic name, if only because they DECLARE the spell. It's shouted deliberately and loudly, and I agree, it is odd to read something different from what I can hear, especially when it is the only thing on the screen.

I hope this helps walk through some of my thought process. I want to make sure that both those who play JP and EN get to enjoy the translations, so I'll tread on this tightrope as best as I can. I will also say that my priority changes may be those EN terms that have been confirmed in the JP game (for example when we learned the homelands' names in Chapter 6 because of the map).

He wanted to know what kind of instruments you played, if you sang, if you've composed any music, if you've played in front of a giant audience, how you got interested in music, how you became a musician, things like that.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Music for him is a way of expressing yourself and he would love to hear what kind of music you play. He would shout your name and clap and cheer you on if you played, but if you decide not to play that's fine you can just enjoy the good food and the time you spend together at his parties.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ He would love for you to stop by the Music Club sometimes to watch him rehearse and play, and if you know how to play the drums, he would like to exchange tips and tricks on how to play better. And he would use every tip and trick to improve and play his hometown songs for you, hoping you would feel the same as him, light and happy following the upbeat rhythm.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ He doesn't play any instruments but he is more than happy to see how you take care of yours, supporting you if you want to try playing again and are a little rusty. Epel could take you to Pomefiore where lots of students sharp their skills by practicing to expand your horizons, to show you something new while you listen to them play. And he's sure Vil wouldn't have a problem letting you practice with them since you used to be a musician.

Usually they'll bite their tongue so they come across as relatively calm and collected when something bad happens, but now they trust Vil, Riddle or Lilia enough to show them how they shake in anger or twitch in anxiety at something bad that happened, trying not to throw pillows at the wall as they try to deal with their h e a v y emotions

He actually wanted to get some tips from you on how to remain calm.

Let's say you're walking through a corridor to his room to have some tea and some guy steps on your foot. He doesn't say sorry but you nod at him with a wave.

Once you do get to his room, which he's been waiting for you in....you go mad.

"Ah, there you a-"

He notices your eye twitching and you saying curses under your breath. He's never...NEVER seen you this ticked off. So he thought it was something really serious.

You face him and you apologize with a laugh.

Once you let him know that you trust him enough with seeing you like this, he feels happy. He's someone you can rely on :)

But he also thinks it's kind of unhealthy to bottle your emotions and thinks you should try letting it out sometime.

He's half of what you are actually. He can be calm and cool when infront of a crowd...or he can go bonkers over Epel spilling milk.

But seeing you so calm and professional during anything bad happening made him very intrigued of you at first.

When you start trusting him, you can feel at ease with your emotions now :)

Say when Grim got into danger, you remained so collected when infront of everyone.

When Vil went into another room to get something, you followed him. You close the door behind you and just sigh very loudly.

"What?" He asks.

"I'm just so......scared. Is Grim....is he gonna be ok?" You start to shake and tears almost form at your eyes. You're banging the floor with your fist, trying not to throw something at the wall.

He's surprised, since he's never seen you this emotional about an issue like this. Once you get the news that Grim is safe though, you decide to tell Vil about how you trust him enough to show your true self.

Just like Riddle, he's glad that you told him and that he's someone you trust deeply.

He'll indirectly ask you some tips on how to stay calm though, since he doesn't want to lose his cool for the silliest reasons.

I doubt you'd be able to even hide your true emotions if this guy's your bestie.

Lilia's very wise and I'm sure he can tell if something's wrong.

He admires your ability to stay calm. He can do it too but he still finds it amazing that you, a human, can be unfazed. He believes that humans are very emotional creatures.

When you do let it out to him, you're mad that a random guy in the street was abusing an animal. He's walking with you when you witness this.

Before you can jump in, the guy runs away and so does the cat, in fear.

"I hate animal abusers. Would they have liked it if someone did that to them?? HE SHOULD BE BORN AS A FLY IN HIS NEXT LIFE!!!" You keep ranting.

Lilia, without batting an eye, listens to you and comforts you like he knows you're always like this.

"There there..."

That's when you tell him about how you are and that you trust him enough to let him see this side of you. This man just smiles and says:

"I know."

Overall, he's always there to lend a helping hand for you. He can even give you some life lessons to help you remain fully calm :D

VIL loves timely; It doesn’t matter that he’s an actor and model! He will find time for you(threateningly). he’ll start work on himself an hour early so he still has plenty of time to do your routine/keep you company through yours, just spend time with you.

ROOK loves comfortingly; He finds beauty in anything, if you find yourself feeling insecure, your dear boyfriend is already on the way with comfort. He doesn’t think anything about you should change unless it fits your need to be comfortable.

Tuna Sprite & Relationship Chart

I'm not entirely sure how platonic works, but I'm assuming best friends type of thing? Explanations of a few relationships below!

Vil & Tuna: Vil can't stand Tuna's atrocious fashion sense and sometimes fears it even. When he doesn't have to deal with Tuna's dumb outfits Vil is fairly friendly. Tuna respects Vil, but doesn't keep up with him enough to be friends.

Rook & Tuna: They sometimes share the same brain cell. They are classmates and Rook is one of Tunas fav people. Tuna loves hearing Rooks rambles and follows him around sometimes when he is stalking looking out for other students. Tuna is very curious and Rooks habits only fuels their curiosity.

Epel & Tuna: Tuna doesn't like Epel much. Tuna isn't usually one to judge, but Epels closed minded/ old fashion thinking was a huge deterrent to Tuna. They don't really know each other either, so Tuna can't entierly dislike Epel, but until they HAVE to get to know each other Tuna is staying their distance.

Kalim & Tuna: Best friends. Their hyper happy go lucky natures bounce off of each other to create the ultra sunshine pair. This duo can be very irresponsible and can get caught up in their excitement. At the end of the day though, Tuna will make sure to protect Kalim from harm!

Jamil & Tuna: Tuna once chased Jamil with a big bug, because they found out what Jamil did during winter break. Kalim is one of Tunas fav people, so they had to get revenge for him!!! Now it is mutual disliking between Jamil and Tuna, but if they make amends they could be a great duo.

Azul & Tuna: They are friends by eel relation. Tuna also works in the lounge and as a back up for most physical altercations. Tuna hasn't made a big deal with Azul before, but has made dumb deals. Things like letting Azul borrow tunas UM and in exchange Tuna gets to be 7ft tall until they get it back. Just silly things. Sometimes Azul wonders if Tuna is extremely foolish or has some secret plan.

Floyd & Tuna: Tuna has a big fat crush, but can't tell if they just really enjoy being friends with Floyd or actually likes him. They hangout a lot and will cause a commotion more often then not. Floyd hasn't realized Tunas feelings... yet.

Jade & Tuna: Same club buddies. Tuna likes to exchange info dumps with Jade and thinks they're neat! They will sometimes have verbal battles trying to outsmart the other. However, they don't interact much outside of work or club.

Lilia & Tuna: Another pair of tricksters! They play video games together and will prank students together at times. Somehow became cooking buddies too. They are on the same level of disaster cooking, not to mention Tuna will eat anything and everything they make. Something about "It's a unique experience every time!"

Leona & Tuna: They are classmates! Tuna likes to annoy Leona cause it's funny. Leona in turn doesn't like Tuna much, but thinks of them as an annoying younger sibling.

Holy shit I just read the preview for Damnation V and IV and I am NOT going to be normal about this. AHHHH. I cannot wait for the fics to drop. I am already loving the set up for both. Shout out to Iago MC, they're hilarious and took up their role very quickly lol. I am especially excited for Pomefiore as a resident simp for that dorm. The way you wrote Vil is fantastic as usual and I can already feel some kind of tension between them. Also Rook and Epel were amazing as well.

Also, side note, but I LOVE the way you describe the characters' outfits in every story. Really puts me into the setting immediately and they are always so creative <3

Whew, haven't had a lot of time to respond to stuff in the inbox so I'm gonna try to answer as much as I can today while I have this opportunity.

I'm really glad that people are enjoying the Scarabia and Pomefiore sneak-peeks! Unfortunately, I haven't had time to work on them at all beside think about potential ideas for them for a few minutes. But other than that, not much process was done. Sorry about that.

I'm going to try and taken my time with them, because I don't want them to feel rushed. I don't want to eventually post them and then end up hating it or feeling like it could have been way better. So yeah, that's why it's taking so long. Hoping to give y'all more funny Parrot/Vassal MC moments and Vil scenes y'all can enjoy.

Actually, I usually look up inspiration on Pinterest when thinking of the clothing, especially for the mc. I think I posted some inspiration and images for Savanaclaw when someone brought them up, but that was in another post. But I'm glad you're liking them! I'm trying to keep it fitting for the region the story would have taken place in, with bits of cultural elements to some of them, but not too detailed, you know?

Day 11 - Squeal

Epel & Vil (Twisted Wonderland)

a/n: i actually kinda liked writing for these two.. it’s a bit difficult, especially vil, but they make an interesting pair. hopefully they aren’t too ooc!!! anyways, enjoy :)

Epel groaned, exhausted. He had been learning etiquette all day with Vil and the more he was there, standing in the excessively gigantic dance room, the more he was hoping he could just keel over and die.

“Vil, how much longer do I have to do this?” Epel, asked, slowly as to not let Vil hear his accent that so desperately wanted to come out. He had thought he was becoming more used to speaking politely, but it’s still hard to knock an accent he’s had since birth away instantly.

“You can be done once you’ve learned everything,” Vil said, simply. Epel groaned again, slouching. What a tyrant! “Stand straight!” Vil scolded, poking Epel in the back, sharply.

“Eeek!” Epel squealed, then froze. His face grew red as he looked at Vil in horror, embarrassed out of his mind. He sounded so.. so girly!

“You’re ticklish.. I see, I suppose it suits you,” Vil muttered, but he didn’t do anything else. Suits him..? Epel wondered, but Vil had already changed the topic before Epel could ask. He didn’t mind though, letting out a sigh of relief that Vil hadn’t tried to do any more than that.

Or so he thought. Up until the lesson was over, Vil would poke his side, his back, anywhere he could when his posture was anything but perfect. He never commented on the shameful squeaks and yelps that slipped through Epel’s lips, but he hated it nonetheless. Yes, this has always been one of Epel’s biggest problems. That of which he is freakishly ticklish and he never thought.. he never thought that it would ever be exploited like this.

“S-stop that!” Epel exclaimed, after it happened again.

“Stop what?” Vil said it so casually, carefully examining his nails.

“You keep on pokin’ me!” Vil sent him a look. “I-I mean, you keep poking me! Stop that!”

“Oh, I was sure it was a harmless way to help you fix your posture. Wouldn’t you prefer that to me scolding you?” Vil asked, seemingly amused but trying to hide it.

“No!” Epel shouted. Vil didn’t say anything— he just looked at him with this certain look in his eye. “I-I mean it’s just.. it’s just girly!”

“Girly?” Vil’s expression darkened, just slightly. “What have I told you about calling certain things ‘girly’?”

“I…” Epel trailed off, a bit at a loss. What was he supposed to say?! What was he supposed to do?! It seemed Vil had decided that for him as he spoke up again.

“It seems I’ll have to teach you a lesson,” Vil sighed. “I suppose it can’t be helped.”

“What.. is that supposed to mean?” Vil didn’t say anything before he suddenly began to inch closer. Epel avoided his gaze, feeling awkward and choosing to look at the ceiling instead, but it didn’t mean he couldn’t feel the hard stare boring into him. Until…

“A-ah?!” He shrieked again when he felt soft hands on his sides, while Vil clicked his tongue, disapprovingly.

“Seeing as how you still seem to be comfortable gendering things, clearly what I’ve been doing hasn’t been working.” Vil kneaded at his sides while Epel could feel his face going red.

“I-Ihihi’m sohohorry!” Epel cried, thrashing in Vil’s arms. He wondered how someone like him could be so strong.. But then again, it was Vil.

“I don’t think you are that sorry.” Vil rolled his eyes, as his hands reached Epel’s hips, causing the younger to erupt into a new wave of giggles. How embarrassing! Vil was so easily reducing him to this..! Epel didn’t have much time to think about his embarrassment, though, as his skin felt tingly the more Vil tickled him.

It felt like every nerve of his body was heightened and he cursed himself for his sensitivity. “NOHOHO V-Vil!” Epel shouted, tears of mirth beginning to prick at his eyelids. He was sure his face was bright red, if the feeling of heat on his cheeks were anything to go by.

“Is your sensitivity girly?” Vil asked, adamant on changing Epel’s mindset about gendering objects.

“Noho!”

“Are you just ticklish and that’s all it is?” VIl continued. Something in Vil’s tone and choice of words made Epel want to sink into a hole, but all he did was shriek.

“Yehehehes, yehehes! Nohoho mohohore!” Finally, finally, Epel could no longer feel the menacing touch of Vil’s fingers and he breathed a long, deep sigh of relief. He struggled to catch his breath, as he watched Vil examine his fingernails, like he had damaged them.

“I’m sure you’ve learned your lesson, have you?” Vil said, simply, maintaining eye contact with the freshman. Epel played with his fingers.

“Yes..” He responded, somewhat quietly. Vil let out a hum with a tone Epel assumed meant he was satisfied.

“I suppose we are done today, then. Get some rest. I expect you to be back here by noon tomorrow,” Vil added and Epel straightened up.

“Yes, Vil!” He croaked, and he waited for a moment until Vil gestured for him to leave. He tried to walk out with as much practiced elegance as possible, but even he could tell his moves were a bit wobbly. Still, what had VIl expected? Epel had just been tickled out of his mind! And he really had learned his lesson because, well, since then, he had never called his sensitivity girly again.

The newspaper the two boys were hiding behind rustles furiously as they shove each other, causing quite a few passersby to stare questioningly at them. However, their two targets are blissfully unaware of the little espionage mission happening right under their noses as they enjoy drinks and little pastries inside the cutesy cafe.

“This is useless. We can’t even hear what they’re saying!” Deuce huffs, squinting at the glass windows, “How are we supposed to know that he was being serious?”

“I don’t think he was. There’s no way the Prefect would go on a date with Epel willingly.” Ace snorts.

The fact remains that you’re in that cafe. With Epel. And you’re laughing at something he said, which makes him blush, and—

The two watch as you offer your hand to Epel and gasp as he takes it. Ace grabs Deuce by the shoulders and starts shaking him hard while Deuce tries to shove Ace off of him.

The door to the cafe chimes as you and Epel walk out, breaths puffing in the chilly winter air. Epel looks at you with a frown and fixes your scarf to ensure it’s properly wrapped around your neck.

“There ya go, darlin’.” he smiles.

Ace sticks his tongue out in disgust, and Deuce almost falls off his chair.

Twisted Wonderland Monster!AU Shenanigans: Diving Head First (into silliness)

So once again during lunch I am reminded of something and now must share this imagery with you all.

Now, according to my monster!AU species list, Kalim is a fennec fox einfield (winged fox) while Epel is half faun and half einfield. Like most foxes, they can be very noisy and get spazzy/energetic at times.

Although in Epel's case, he likely would get rowdy and wanna wrestle 😂

You may be asking: where are you going with this? We all know these two are cute! How could they be cuter than this? Well my friends, I'm here to show you that it is possible to be cuter and sillier than before! Let's see how, shall we?

During Winter:

Ace: "Jeez, it's cold out here! Look at all this snow--it's practically at Deuce's knees already!"

Deuce: "The snow's pretty deep..."

Grim: *-muffled somewhere in the snow-* "Halp!"

Yuu: "Grim? Grim! Where are you--oop!" *-falls into the deep snow-*

Jack: "Careful, Yuu." *-plucks them up out of the snow and sets them on Deuce's back-* "Are you okay?"

Yuu: "I'm okay, but we need to find Grim before he freezes!"

Sebek: "The snow is covering every inch of the ground. How do you propose we even find him in this slush?"

Epel: "Don't worry, I can find him!"

Ace: "How are you going to do that? We don't even know where he is!"

Epel: "Jack, give me a boost on your shoulders." *-perches on Jack's shoulders, large ears twisting this way and that before jumping-*

Epel: *-wiggles backwards out of snow and hauls Grim up by the scruff-* "Got'im!"

It was no surprise to the latter given that a good chunk of time Kalim is playing in the sand, Jamil will often find him looking like this:

We starting with the new au i didn't explain: the fight club au

The premise is basically MK meets Streetfighter, meets twst, meets real world. With Epel trying to get around New York and attending the prestigious NRC school for mages. He uncovers a secret fight club and gets recruited by a misterious fighter in order to uncover a secret drug ring.

This was more of silly doodle time, but there are a few hints of the au's plot :P

Lowkey I didn't know how Ace was gonna look like at first, but now I know EXACTLY why he turned out like this. Parkour I guess :'3

Noting how I confirmed that the velvet room attendees are siblings, I HAD to make a few shenaningans in between them :3

Lavenza and Floyd are the ones who get a new fusion method, thus Igor(the deemed parent), Had to instruct Floyd first so he could tell Lavenza as well. I really like how the uniforms turned out tbh.

And yes, this implies that all the attendees are mers. Lavenza, Theo and Elizabeth are eels, while Margret and Azul are octopuses. Might draw those one day :v

Ace is the funny lil guy that has and absolute TRAINWRECK of a backstory. And Riddle as well, but I wanted to practice a bit on backs and side profiles, but I also wanted to add sum context ;3

And what better au than jjba au? The first one is ur hint at the main plot idea of this au, while the latter is a ref for Azul and his stand: Dark Side Of The Moon. I tried to also see how realistically his stand would resist against things, seeing how it is made out of bulletproof glass, also a lot of Drag inspo for his stand tbh. :'3

It's a sort of tease of what happens during the mlb specials, which all happen post the main 4 seasons ya'll read and saw me losing my shit abt. :'3

YES, THERE WAS A REASON I TEASED MALLEUS'S FAM DRAMA!

Think that NY and Shangai Specials happen at the same time, but each of the our main 2 heroes go through sum self discovery post all that chaos with Madame Moth. Riddle with accepting the flaws of himself and coming in terms with his new family dynamic, while Malleus comes in terms with the tesnsion and the chaos around himself and the fact that he cannot ignore changes he doesn't like anymore.

And the other miraculous au, this time the maleidiazu hard au version.

Since Jade got the butterfly miraculous, I thought that the twins would be ABSOLUTE MENACES to Azul.

For Jade's design, I saw those very pretty butterfly decorations photos and I fixated on Gabe's butterfly tending hat. I also wanted to allude to his eel form, so I imagined a long, sleek, trein, reminescent of a cocoon, that can flare up and reveal it's true shape of a half wing, the top vest part acting as the 2nd part of the wing. He looks pretty aloof, the kind of person you'd assume would be nice, but the veil is like your warning sign, with the butterflies always sitting on the outside, all alert. I really liked how he turned out and probably is one of my favorite designs in this au tbh.

And again, Jade for the last one: the Jjk mild au. damn, I can't find the post

I knew right off the batch that I wanted this mf to get some inspo from Nobara's uniform, just because I think Floyd-pre curse era would have a more yuji insp uniform and since in cannon jjk these 2 were like besties and up to shenaningans at first, I thought it would be a fun and subtle reference. :3

The reason that yellow overall is shown, is bcs underneath the jacket, Jade has a top of a similar shape, mostly to accomodate his brother.

It's fun to think that Jade's so reserved and acts humble, but in here there's literally the truth. He's thrown in this world with 0 knowledge, trying to gather up the disaster that was left behind his brother and just fix things that he isn't responsible for in the first place, all for his own selfish reasons. It's fun :D

Very important question: who's your favorite twst character and why?

It’s a tie between Deuce and Azul. I think for Azul he just managed to slot in the character archetype I really like which is that shady business guy whos also very silly (like say. 3rd life scar or smth) and theres just something very appealing to me about silly capitalism guys who aren’t like, that bad, but definitely doing questionable con artistry and scams. But also besides that I think Azul is just a v compelling character in terms of like how he sees himself, how he presents himself to try and hide the self that he sees himself as, and also just how many things he’s done to be where he is. Like his achievements and hard work and everything he’s worked for v.s his past of getting bullied because of being different I just think he's interesting. also he's a silly guy what more can you ask for

Deuce meanwhile I really love how much he subverted my expectations. I went in thinking oh he's going to be Ace's straight man as in he's like Ace's foil because Ace is silly and impulsive and just generally kind of a confident troublemaker and then Deuce kind of looks like he'd be a serious like, goody-two shoes smartypants but it turns out that Deuce is a silly cauldron guy, has one braincell (ITS OKAY HES TRYING TO GAIN MORE), is so... sweet such a sweet guy, and was also a delinquent and is now trying to make his mom happy and become an honor student to truly move on from his 'dark' past. Like he's just such a compelling character! And even though he technically is a foil to Ace, not in the way I was expecting. I Instantly connected to Deuce in the scene where he was getting eggs so they can make the tart with Trey, and someone like bumped into / knocked into him and he was upset because the egg broke and he wanted the guy to apologize to the egg. And the guy was like "WHAT IS YOUR DEAL?!?" and Deuce was like "APOLOGIZE TO THE EGG RIGHT NOW. THE POOR CHICK." like genuinely he's just such a wonderful fella and like I love the first years and they're all just so silly teenagers But Deuce especially just hits right for me I think he's amazing <33 He works so hard and that hard work is acknowledged, and like he's not the typical gifted kid archetype that I really enjoy too, but him struggling academically is also why I find him so compelling because like I definitely relate to that (struggling to study/get a good score despite working hard so I'll just not work that hard) especially when it comes to like, maths. But ! he still tries his best in everything ! and hes always so cheerful, and only pick fights when someone else tries to pick fights too like he's growing!!! his whole character arc is about growth and becoming the person that someone can look up to/his mom can be proud of and that's just so :] to me.

Basically, Azul and Deuce are my favorite because umm. autism. (half joking i do in fact headcanon them to be autistic though)

they're like tied for first place for me but twst just has so many good characters. my second fav is probably Jack I think he's perfect like that guy has 0 flaws and he's only 16. maybe one flaw and that's being too honest but to me he is perfect <3 I just love how he's like the Stern like super moral guy and hes also silly goofy and kind and sweet and super respectful of people despite saying that he doesn't really do that for others' sake he still helps them anyway its just so oopy of him...

other characters who I'd say are top ten but my top ten changes every other day trust me, are Sebek (love sebek he's so silly), Silver, Jamil, Kalim, Ortho, and Epel. Oh and Ruggie probably. Grim is up there too but he's kind of a special category.

Twisted Wonderland Characters and what roles they would play in LoL

Riddle - Mid / Adc

wants power, so he gets power -

Trey - Support / Mid

just wants to support riddle, or play a mage honestly -

Cater - Top / Support

wants an easy time so he can just watch some show in the background, always on autopilot

Ace - Mid / Jungler

He just hits me with those vibes ngl-(though he would play Adc for Deuce if he asks <3)

Deuce - Support / Adc

Just wants to be with a buddy, doesn't want to do too much damage (reminds him of when he was a delinquent) so he opts for support a majority of the time

Leona - Top / Support

Honestly, like cater he'd want an easy time at the game so he can just autopilot and not have to think much, fall asleep while playing Yuumi and ditching his Adc, fun times

Ruggie - Jungler / Top

He'd like to be out of peoples way for the most part, just come in to help every so often but keep to himself for a majority of the game.

Jack - Top / Mid

Loves to 1 v 1 and prove his strength, appreciates help from Jungler but enjoyed his 1v1. doesn't like getting ganked period honestly, ruins the 1v1, though counter ganks make things at least even with a 2v2.

Azul - Mid / Jungle

Wants power and control over the game, and those are the roles that get you the most.

Jade - Adc / Support

Likes to Adc so he can make sure Azul always has bot prio, and duos with Floyd, though sometimes he'll support and Floyd adc's

Floyd - Support / top

Likes to "support" for jade, by that I mean choose a heavy roaming support and end up ditching just cuz, will sometimes Adc for jade if he asks or is just feeling like playing Adc

Kalim - Support

I try to always give 2 roles but he wouldn't want to do anything else, just play support so he can help othersss

Jamil - Mid / Jungle

Similar to Azul he wants to have power and control over the map and the game itself, though he'll often have to play Adc because Kalim wants to duo in botlane

Vil - Mid / Adc

Similar to both Azul and Jamil now, he wants power over the game, so he would go with jungle but everything's always junglers fault and he wont have that, even if he did perfect they'll still say jungle diff, so he ditched that role and just took up Adc instead, plus now he can duo with rook

Rook - Jungle / support

He likes being the secretive looker who watches over the map and then goes in for the kill, or he'll just play support in the bot lane with vil.

Epel - Top / Mid

He wants power as well but not the pressure that comes with playing jungle or mid, which is why he typically goes top, he would go Adc to be that late game hyper carry but doesn't want to be with a second person so top top he goes.

Idia - Fill

he's a pro gamer, if he feels like playing support then he'll play support, wants to play jungle then that's where he'll go, wants to play mid then again that's what he'll do. can play every role and most champions.

Ortho - Support / fill

Mainly goes support so he can support Idia even if he doesn't play Adc. Though is talented as well and can play any role just goes for support wherever's possible.

malleus - none

This man does not know how these games work- he cant even start it up, if he somehow got into a queue he wouldn't know how to accept it to get into the gamee

Lillia - jungle / fill

he wants to be a looming threat in the game, when is the enemy Jungler going to gank? he loves to keep the opposing team in a loop of anxiety the whole game, though he can and will play other roles too from time to time.

Silver - Mid / Jungle

thinks of playing the game like training so he goes for the most difficult roles, though will also play support but not as often.

Sebek - Support / top

he becomes an amazing support in hopes that one day malleus will play and Sebek can support his young master. When he's not training in support though he'll just go top lane and chill with the other top laner.
