I heard this song one time and it made me cry and therefore I have to write something about it

Word count: ~1.5K

Inspired by

The lights all around you do little to stifle the emotions raging within your heart and mind. You can’t even hear your own breathing or heartbeat as the music pumps loudly in your ears. All you can see is the back of your now ex-lover as he maneuvers his way through the crowd with the reason he ended your relationship. He thought it was a good idea to ghost you for weeks only to show up on your cheering up night with why he ghosted you. You think your skin is numb, but it’s hard to tell with all the sweaty people around you dancing to the music. They push and shove against you, small and pitiful apologies tumbling from your mouth. The movement surrounding you makes you want to shrink in on yourself and disappear. Your stomach flips, your knees feel weak and your head swirls. A hiccup escapes your throat as you cry freely, makeup be damned.

All the while, you’re unaware of a pair of eyes watching your every move and happened to see the scene in front of him unfold. He’s not sure what makes him get up, but now he’s moving through the crowd to lightly tap your shoulder. You turn around on instinct without wiping your eyes and meet his invested gaze. He speaks first,

“Hey.”

Upon seeing him, you whisper a hushed “fuck,” before aggressively wiping at your eyes. He was the last person you wanted to see and here he is, in all of his smug glory to rub it in your face how much better he is than you. You try to shake your head but his grip on your chin is strong. “You’re better than him.”

You chuckle cynically. “And what about you? Did you get your heart broken too?”

The tips of his ears burn crimson at being called out. Sure, he’s lonely tonight but you don’t have to know why he was upset. Was it the way your eyes seemed to shine when your lover finally looked your way? How he wished you would look at him that way instead of with disdain and hatred? He clicks his tongue with a roll of his eyes before he surprises you with a slow yet soft kiss. You had briefly shut your eyes as they made contact and they flutter open upon the kiss ending. His pupils are dilated and he looks to be saying something endearing before he whispers out, “that’s me 36, you 35.”

You bite your lip with a grin before grabbing his shirt for another kiss. He’s using this to bring up your long time rivalry? He wants to one up you now? “Not if I keep kissing you. And now we’re even.”

Who was he to just stand there and watch you get your heartbroken? You had texted him earlier saying you were going out on your own to try and have a fun night. He had wanted to keep a safe distance for now, but when he saw the two of you talking and how excited you seemed at first, his heart sank. But then when your tears began to fall freely and your stare blank he had to come up to you. He gently pressed his hand to your shoulder and couldn’t help but feel tears prick the corner of his eyes. He hated seeing you like this and how broken you seemed. It wasn’t fair. His hands move on their own as he cups your face and brushes your tears away. He places a chaste kiss to your forehead and before you can try to refuse, he brings your hands to clasp behind his neck as he puts his hands on your hips.

“Dance with me, we both shouldn’t be crying tonight.”

It takes a moment for you to register what’s going on but fall easily into the sway of the music. You lay your head in his chest and the beating of his heart is somehow able to calm your own. His hands feel good on you and being pressed against him feels so right. Has he always been right here? But you start to remember conversations with him and you quickly lift your head. “But, what about that person you’ve been telling me about? The one you’re,” the words suddenly feeling heavy on your tongue, “in love with?”

He merely smiles and cups your face once more, a slight pout coming to your lips at the lack of contact. His forehead rests against yours as he kisses you confidently.

“It’s you silly, it’s always been you.”

You smile sadly at him as your hands now fall from behind his neck to his shoulders. “Wait, I thought you had a date? What happened?”

He can barely look at you as he blushes slightly. “I left. You needed me, and so I’m here.”

Maybe it’s the blinding lights and the thumping bass, but the way he’s looking at you makes you want to lean in and…

When you pull away both you realize just how close and intimate the two of you must appear. You quickly pull away before missing his touch and reaching out for his hand. Even with the music playing all around you, the two of you dance to your own music, being lonely dancers in the middle of a crowded club.

Your hands then interlock behind his neck as his forehead now rests against yours. The two of you have only ever gotten this close to argue but never this intimately. You’re thrown from your thoughts when you feel a tear fall on your cheek. You know it’s not you so you briefly look up to catch his teary gaze. You’re about to ask when he opens his mouth first. “For some reason, seeing you all sad and shit really bothers me. And I really want to punch that mother fucker for making you cry, or kill him. I’m the only one allowed to make you cry, got it?” You hiccup and nod as he kisses the top of your head.

“We’re not gonna be lonely anymore,” he whispers against your forehead, kissing it again as you start to dance and get lost in the music together.

Bee’s Birthday Event!

Hi hi everyone! So I’ve been in the mood to do an event like this for a while now since I’m finally wrapping up my first year of college and getting ready for summer, and since I just recently hit 700 followers and my birthday is also coming up, I decided now was the perfect time to do an event because I wanna celebrate with you guys!

This event is similar to some other events I’ve done before, where it’s a game of chance when it comes to your request! I decided to go with the same theme of an ice cream parlor for now just because it provides the most options, because I wanted this event to be as fun as possible! Basically, the way it works is that below, there is a list of ice cream flavors and toppings. Each ice cream flavor connects to a different headcanon type/prompt, and each topping connects to a different character (the flavors are the same but they are connected to a different character from every fandom I write for). However, the catch is that you don’t know which flavor/topping connects to which thing, you just have to pick randomly and you only tell me which fandom you’d like me to write your request for!

If you’d like multiple different fandoms it’s best to send a different ask for each fandom, simply because each topping is connected to one character from every fandom I write for so just sending different fandoms in different asks helps avoid confusion. Also, in some fandoms there are obviously less characters than there are toppings, so for some characters there will be more than one topping connected to them. If you’d like to pick your own character(s) instead of randomly selecting them, feel free to just include those in your ask and not include any toppings, but you have to randomly select the flavor/prompt!

Anime Boys When They Get Jealous / Protective (Part 2)

a/n: since everyone loved the first one I figured I might as well do another one! With more boys! Hope you all enjoy <3

Featuring: Mondo Oowada, Kento Nanami, Shoto Todoroki, Eijirou Kirishima, Sanemi Shinazugawa

notes: fem!reader, all characters aged up, some swearing

Mondo Oowada

So...um...

Mondo's like, FIERCELY protective of you

Even if someone looks at you a certain way he's going to get mad and make sure that someone knows

He's similar to Katsuki in the sense that he'll rapidly approach whoever's talking to you and tell them off, especially if he sees them getting flirty / touchy

If they're being inappropriate he'll knock their lights out

He tries his best not to lose his temper around you (he doesn't wanna scare you) but he has a hard time when it comes to situations like this

He constantly worries about you leaving, he always has felt that you could do better than a 'delinquent' like him

It's why he gets so protective of you ;u;

Nanami Kento

Nanami's a civilized, mature gentleman, we all know this

10000/10 boyfriend, trusts you fully and utterly, is not typically one to get jealous of anyone you're talking to

You're in a committed relationship with him, why should he worry?

However.

If you're clearly uncomfortable with the person you're speaking to (they just don't get the not-so-subtle hints you've been giving that you're taken), Kento will definitely come to your rescue

"I believe Y/N just said she wasn't interested in you."

"Who're you?"

"I'm her partner. Now please leave her alone."

Since he's so straight to the point and deadpan about it, the person immediately leaves, Nanami doesn't have to ask twice

He'll ask you afterward if you're okay and then won't leave your side for a while <3

Shoto Todoroki

(;n; i love him he deserves to smile all the time)

He probably won't get it at first, tbh

He'll just assume you're having a friendly conversation with someone and leave it at that

But, he feels something weird growing in his chest, and he can't help but wish it was him you were talking to instead

He asks Midoriya about it and when he's told that he's jealous, he feels bad

He trusts you, of course. But he hates that he feels this way

Later on he'll kinda be sulky around you until you ask him what's wrong

He'll admit to how he felt and apologize deeply for it, begging for you to forgive him (umm, of course you do? Shoto there's nothing wrong with it)

If you wrap your arms around him and hold him, he'll feel much better (pls do so)

Eijirou Kirishima

Another one who kind of refuses to get jealous

He doesn't think it's manly to do so, you should have utmost faith in your relationship

Which he does, of course

BUT

Kinda like Shoto, he can't help but feel a little pang every time he sees you talking with someone

Especially if that someone is being flirty (*cough cough* MONOMA)

He doesn't wanna get involved usually because what if he's overreacting? He doesn't wanna embarrass you or make a scene

He will get involved if you're clearly uncomfortable, though, and tell the person to back off

He will cling to you a bit tighter when you're alone later, though

If you ask him what's bugging him he'll admit it, straight up

Please reassure him that you don't want anyone but him <3 He trusts you completely but he does like to hear it ;w;

Sanemi Shinazugawa

SO.

Him. Yeah.

Pray for whoever tries to flirt with you because they are gonna get their ass BEAT

Sanemi doesn't fuck around when it comes to the person he loves

He's lost so goddamn much in his life and he'll die before he loses you

Does he overreact sometimes? Maybe, but he does have good intentions

"That asshole was clearly flirting with you, Y/N!"

"...He was asking me for directions, Nemi."

"Yeah, okay. Sure."

It's not that he doesn't trust you, he just constantly worries (like Mondo) that you could do so much better than him

Though he would never ever admit it

He is so, so protective of you, no matter what
